Chapter 24
Naruto stood in a corner with his two teammates. "There is Team 10." Kiba pointed out as he nodded his head towards them. "Let's go and chat with them." Naruto said with a nod of his head.
Walking towards Team 10, Shikamaru notices them as he pulls Ino back as she appeared to be searching for someone within the crowd and he is worried it might be the damn last Uchiha and right now they don't need the spotlight on them because of Sakura's big mouth. "Hey." Shikamaru said sounding lazy.
"Hey." Hinata greeted them as she softly smiles at her friends. "I'm glad to see you three made it as well." She added as she looks towards Kiba and Naruto.
"Yeah, it's good you are here. We don't have to deal with duck ass and banshee alone." Kiba said with a chuckle as they glanced over towards Team 7 where a guy with white hair is talking to them. "That doesn't look too good." He points out as Sasuke narrows his eyes towards Naruto.
Naruto rolls his eyes. "It's just a jealous ducky wanting more power and doesn't like it that we are stronger than him." He tells the others as everyone looks at him with a little shock on their faces.
"How are we stronger than him?" Choji asks as he looks up at Naruto with wide eyes.
Naruto smiles at Choji. "Its because we know we are strong alone. But stronger together. That is how we are stronger than Sasuke. We know working as one we will over come anything thrown in our path." He tells the plumped boy.
With Team 7
Shino narrows his eyes from behind his sunglasses. 'Something isn't right about this man before us. My insects keeps saying he smells of snakes.' He thought to himself as he felt uneasy with the questions Sasuke is asking the man before them.
"Tell me about Rock Lee, Gaara of the Sand, and finally that loser Naruto." Sasuke Demands of the white hair man before him.
Sakura stood off to the side watching what is going on before her. 'Sasuke is soo cool….but why does he want to know about that loser Naruto and that freak Lee?' she thought to herself as she listen on pulling herself away from her inner thoughts.
Before the white hair man could speak Ibiki appears. "ALRIGHT MAGETS! GET INTO LINE AND DRAW A LOTS. THE NUMBER YOU GET WILL BE WHERE YOU WILL BE SITTING!" Ibiki orders.
"Like the man said. Form two lines and draw lots to see where you will be sitting during the first part of the Exams." Said a Chunin hold a clipboard standing before the table they needed to line up before.
Naruto smirks as he knew what was happening with Sasuke and the weirdo. Kurama's hearing does come in handy at times. 'He doesn't need to know anything about myself. Lee is a good guy that doesn't need that little bastard knowing more on him. As for Gaara. If the feeling I am feeling is right. He is like me and his BIJU is a little nutty.' He thought to himself as he got into line to draw his lot.
"Kit just keep away from that Gaara kid for now. If the feeling I'm getting is right. He has my youngest brother badly sealed into him." Kurama told him with a sigh as he can hear his little brother trying to build a mental link with him.
Naruto let out a sigh as he is right behind Gaara at the moment as they are in line. 'Yeah, I wish you would have said something sooner.' He mentally grumbles.
In a gravelly whisper Gaara spoke. "Mother doesn't like you fox." As he looms behind Naruto making a cold chill to go down his spine as he can smile sand and blood coming from the boy from behind him.
"Mother can shut up sand coon." Naruto whispers back as he looks over his shoulder at the insane boy standing behind him.
Gaara frowns at being call sand coon as his mother lost his ever-loving mind. As he is now trying to create a link with his eldest brother. 'Mother why can't I scare him like the others?' He wondered to himself as he just kept staring at the back of the blonde.
'That bastard! He better allow me to open that link!' Shukaku mentally rages as he wants to bother his eldest brother.
Kurama rolls his eyes as he doesn't want to deal with his brother at the moment. Right now he needs to be a guard as there is something not right going on in the village and he knows his kit needs him more than him going off to visit with Shukaku.
"NOT NOW SHUKAKU!" Kurama roars in a quick shared link with the insane sand coon.
Shukaku is taken back by his brother's outburst. "He didn't need to yell at me." He pouts leaving his host alone for a while as he is off in a corner drawing circles with a storm cloud over his head.
Naruto drew his lot; he looks down at the number 56. '56 huh? I wonder who I'll be sitting next to…' He thought trying to get a glance inside the room.
Come on brat. Keep it moving." Said one of the Chunin's.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm going. I'm going." Naruto said as he walks into the classroom.
Looking around he found where his number is. He smirks sitting next to him is Hinata. "Fancy meeting you here." He tells her with a smirk.
"Yes, it's funny that we are tablemates." Hinata said as Naruto takes the seat next to him.
Ibiki narrows his eyes as he looks at a list in his hands. 'Brat is sitting with on of his teammates. Let's see if they chest off of each other.' He thought with a mental laugh as he is going to go after them.
Kiba is seat just before them. "Well damn we are all together pretty much." He said as he looks around a little uneasy as he feels the demonic energy coming off of Ibiki. "I want to go home." He said as he shrinks back looking at Ibiki.
"We'll be fine." Naruto told him as he hoped Kiba doesn't get scared away from the man standing down before them.
