Disclaimer I do not own Harry Potter and some of the stuff in the story might not be exact to the show or books so ...be warned I guess?

Walking down the spirally dark creaky old stairs was unnerving, to say the least her arms went bumpy over goosebumps cobwebs and dimly light melty candles were on the walls enlightening the area even if it wasn't very effective Cornelia could hardly see anything if she was paying attention she might have noticed that the candles were not attached to anything

She kept walking forward and reached a massive green and gold door that was covered in vines and leaves and roses. The knob was initial-ed with a big capital golden D

Big brightly coloured roses were in full bloom. Weirdly enough, brownish-green grass seemed to be growing down here along with mini mushrooms

It was at this point that Cornelia decided that she had seen it all today. What type of freak show did her life turn out to be? All day weird things have happened to her

She didn't want to walk up all the stairs again because she was tired, and if she was lucky, a spider would come and bite her mini toe so she would pass out, and this would stop...if she was lucky? But Cornelia was never that lucky

She reluctantly pulled open the heavy big door

A snake springed out and tried to bite her face off hissing its slimy tongue and bearing its sharp fangs at her

AAAAHHHHHGG!! The snake went

her shoulder scratching her skin slightly before landing on the floor

Inside the door was a stick? And a weird-looking old book with odd writing Cornelia quickly grabbed them

When her hand connected with the stick, she felt an odd jolting sensation wind started to form her hair, and her pigtails went up in the air

She spun around to wake the snake on its head! Face? Well, it is sort of the same thing.

She raised her wanded hand to swing before she could a shadow flow, passed them and grabbed the snakes body, and pinned it down with a hard wake!

The snakes body swarmed in the shadowy creatures, surprisingly small hands,

"Who are you?" ."What are you doing in my house ?". "Why is there a snake?". WHAT IS GOING ON! Cornelia shrieked, backing away

The house elf turned his body around, looking at Cornelia's horrified face. In Cornelias's eyes, she saw a bizarre-looking pointy-eared, featured little man holding a venomous deadly snake, currently trying to bite his hand

"Young mistresses don't be alarmed. The snake has been dealt with,

"It's going to bite your hand off. Why are you still holding it!?"

The elf put the snake back inside the inside of the door, where it transformed back into the wood

Cornelia immediately grabbed the elf and ran upstairs with him while still holding the book and

Cornilias father was driving home in a hurry he just got a letter from his familys elf. Pulling in the driveway, he found letters falling out of his daughter's window, wasting no time he ran inside the house

Cornelia made the elf sit down so she could examine him and make sure he wasn't hurt by the snake. " You shouldn't have done that," Cornelia said softly,

"Why do you say that, mistress, if I might ask?"

"Because it could have hurt you." Cornelia scolded him before asking quietly somewhat to herself ..." Are you real?" Or am I just going insane "

"Insane?" He questioned, raising his hairless eyebrow." What do you mean? "

" You know, like...bonkers." she pused," not mentally stable, like im not normal "

"I don't think so, mistress," she said formally

Cornelia's father rushed in and pulled her into a hug. Shielding her vision, he grabbed the wand next to the book and pointed it at the house elf. "Ringbull, what are you doing back here !" He pointed the wand at his head

"Father, what are you doing? Don't hurt him. " she quickly went to Shaild him

"Cornelia, you don't know what you are talking about he was sent by an evil man dear now. Move out of the way," cornilias father demanded

"Wait, how do you know him?" Cornelia looked up at her father while still protecting the elf

The elf, which we learned was now called Ringbull, merely chuckled at my father and stepped down from the chair. " I see you're still as sharp and cunning as ever young master it's good to see you again,"

Cornelia froze, looking at them both suspiciously. "... wh-what aren't you telling me?"

"Cornelia dear," her father started. " Please understand

"NO! I want to know you can't lie to me about this, don't you trust me? If you won't tell me, then there is no point living in a house full of liars." Cornelia said, coldly though she regretted saying them she wasn't lying she wanted to let him know she was serious

The

Her father went quiet, muttering out a silent murder of curses before grabbing the stick snatching the keys to the car bringing me and the elf to the family's big family car they named Scar after the lion king because it was a darkish brownish car that has seen and went through so much struggles

They drove through the forest for hours in silence. cornilia was in the backseat, caressing the wood of the strange wand she looked out of the window at the full moon

We stepped out of the car away from civilisation and into the wildlife

"Cornelia, I need to tell you something."

" What is it, Father?" She asked nervously, playing with the end of her pyjamas in a nervous habit

Her father paused before taking a long breath. " You're a wizard, Cornelia," he said seriously

" well technically your a witch, but our family only had wizards for centuries

Silence overwhelmed the room until it was broken by a witch-like cackle

"Pfft, hahaha, your funny father, stop messing with me and be serious. What is going on? " she chuckled

Silence was the only thing said between the lot of them and her father and a serious expression on his face, which made her smile drop

"You have to be kidding me, right? That's just ridiculous magic doesn't exist," Cornelia exclaimed, trying to convince her father and herself

The elf huffed still trying to stay respectful but lost control of his tongue "Young mistress the only one being ridiculous here is you I never heard of a young lady speak such nonsense you must not have told her anything have you young master " Ringbull muttered to cornilias father

"Cornilia," her father started. "I want you to go to Hogworts to learn magic and wizardry,

"Hogwarts?" Did you go through my letters!"Cornelia screamed

"Indeed I did now listen Cornelia I believe you can do this for some odd reason you are the only one out of your brothers and sisters to be a magic user don't pass on a opportunity like this please... for me, " her father pleaded softly she could see how much this meant to him she didn't get it. Why was it so important ?why does it matter?

She looked up at her father's face and gulped she didn't want to do this, but seeing her father's pleading face and she had to avart her gaze

Why can't she ever be selfish? Why can't she just say no, find someone else to do it? She never considered herself a saint, but then why does it hurt her to make her family sad? This was the part of herself she hated the most about herself. It wasn't her clumsiness or her clumsiness or even her being useless. Sometimes, it was her inability to be selfless

Cornelia sighed deeply and nodded. " ok," speaking softly, she continued. "ok, I'll do it,"

Her father and Ringbull hugged her, "Thank you," her father said, smiling

Cornelia never seen him this happen she knew she couldn't mess this one up. This is the

Her shoulders relaxed, and Cornelia hugged them back. "Just let me tell my friends before I go,"

"You can't tell them about Hogwarts or about the wizarding world,"

I don't know about it anyway. Besides, you don't have to worry. I always keep my promises. "

"Ok, i trust you,"

The next day, Cornelia tracked down her friends at the carnival and told them she was moving schools it took hours and her stomach felt like it was in a blender she wasn't surprised if she looked like a witch given her green sick face luckily she had their numbers so she could just facetime them at Hogwarts right? The wifi shouldn't be so bad?
