Dragon Warriors

in The Dragon Thief

At the catacombs Beardsley is watching his soap opera, and is now watching Romeo and Juliet.

"Romeo. Romeo. Where for art thou Romeo." as Beardsley was watching the movie, Luu Luu appeared with Bigjaw who are playing around.

"Will you two move, you're in the way!" said Beardsley which got their attention.

"What? We were just playing around." said Luu Luu which Bigjaw nodded in response.

"Well play somewhere. I'm trying to watch a movie." he said, and they left leaving Beardsley to continue watching the movie. But then the alarm went off, which causes Beardsley to groan in frustration.

Later, the Warriors are flying to find the danger, but so far they found nothing.

"Anything yet, Warriors?" said Connor.

"Nah." Maia answered.

"Not anywhere in sight." said Claudia.

"Then maybe the alarm system is on the fritz." said Grave in annoyance.

Then Luu Luu spotted some coming from the east.

"Guys! There's smoke!" Luu Luu pointed, they turned and they spotted the smoke as well.

"Alright Warriors, let's go!" said Connor.

"Let's burn some trolls!" the Warriors yelled their battle cry and they flew.

The Warriors continue to fly until they found a trail of burnt buildings.

"Oh my." Prim said in shock.

"Don't worry. From the look on those burnt marks, they didn't came from dragons." Vault explained, which causes Prim to smile in relief. "They came from the Ancient Guardians." he said, which leaves Prim frowning.

And once they made it to the source, their faces turned to shock to discover that one building as been destroyed by giant ice.

"What, in the name of Celestine...?" said Claudia who is completely perplexed.

The Warriors landed to see what they can find.

"Who in the world would froze an entire building?" questioned Vault as Scar sniffed on the ice.

"That's what we're trying to find out," they turned and spotted Multz and the rest of the police.

"Chief Multz! What are you doing here?" asked Connor.

"We got a call about burning building, but once we came it now looked like this." Multz explained.

"Don't worry about it, we solved half of the case. I discovered burn marks from laser blasters that was caused by the Ancient Guardians, and the frozen building could've been from a powerful sorcerer." Vault explained in theory.

"A sorcerer?!" Maia looked at his old boss in frustration. "There are no sorcerer's in East Liverpool, except for Kin. But he's nit powerful enough to freeze an entire building." she said to correct him.

"Is there something else th people might've seen?" asked Connor.

"Well," Tommy spoked as he took out his notepad. "The woman who witnessed it claimed that she saw a giant elephant spouting ice to stop the fire, where the Ancient Guardians fled, and she saw a suspect riding on a giant owl." Tommy explained the information.

"And call me crazy but, I think she saw the Dragon Thief." and this causes the Warriors to widen their eyes in shock.

"A giant elephant that spouts ice. That sounds like a new dragon." said Connor.

"Yeah." said Alicia, and she giggled. "A giant elephant, that's ridiculous!" she giggled, and the rest of the Warriors giggled as well.

"Anyway. This Dragon Thief can't be that far." said Connor and he mounted on Shade. "He could ne hiding anywhere." he said, and they flew to the sky.

Connor and Shade began looking all over the sky to look for the Dragon Thief, but they haven't seen the mysterious thief.

"Shade! Sonar!" said Connor, then Shade uses his sonar roar to find the Dragon Thief, but nothing. Which causes Connor to sigh in defeat.

"I don't know Shade, I don't know where this Dragon Thief is." said Connor. But then, Shade started to growl. "What is it Shade?" he asked.

Then out of nowhere, a dragon flew up and is blocking the two's path, and on the dragon is the boy who bravely fought the Anciant Guardians. And the dragon that he's riding on has four wings, and has a head that resembles an owl.

"Whoa! That was good timing." said Connor. "Thought we couldn't find you anywhere right Shade." he said, as Shade growled in agreement. And just as they were about to attack they heard a roar from behind, and then a dragon grabbed Connor and as Shade was about to save Connor, another dragon grabbed Shade.

Then the Dragon Thief then flew and the the dragons follow, while Connor and Shade struggled to get out.

They flew for what felt like a couple of minutes, but the Dragon Thief lead them to what it appeared to be a glacier in the forest then they went into a cave and the two dragons dropped both Connor and Shade.

"Alright. Who are you?!" Connor demanded who is now ready to fight. But the Dragon Thief just simply shook his staff, and surprisingly the dragons obeyed, they opened their mouths to make torches. Where Connor is surprised that he and Shade are surrounded by different types of dragons.

The Dragon Thief put down his staff and walked towards to Connor but Shade got in front of the kid, but he raised his hand in front of him, and Shade lied down and purred. Connor was shocked at that reaction, but when the Dragon Thief was close enough his eyes widen in shock like he knew Connor.

"Connor?" said the Dragon Thief. Then the kid removed his hat and smask to reveal that he's a boy with brown hair. "How can it be?" he said.

"Do I know you from somewhere?" Connor questioned.

"No. You don't remember me, but I do." the kid said. "Because a little brother never forgets." he said, and after what the kid said Connor widened his eyes in shock. Could this kid really be Connor's brother Evan?

Meanwhile the Warriors along with William are now searching for Connor and Shade, because he hasn't answered his calls.

"Why would Connor and Shade be flying without you guys?" asked William.

"Because he thought that he can find the Dragon Thief." explained Alicia.

"You know how Connor is back in Eostia." Vault added. "Always trying to find someone that's not far." he said.

And that's where William spotted something on the ground, he flew down and grabbed it where it turned out to be Connor's phone. It wasn't damaged, not even a scratch and the Warriors are starting to worry if something happened.

"Trace his scent Wrecker." said William, and he showed the phone Wrecker and sniffed it. Then he roared knowing he's got his scent, then Wrecker flew faster while the Warriors followed.

Later back at the ice cave, Evan is dragging Connor further to the cave, while Connor is trying to get answers out his supposed deceased brother.

"Are you really Evan?" said Connor.

"Yes, now come on." said Evan.

"How are you still alive?! Everyone thought you were dead!" he said to Evan.

"No I wasn't. I was taken." explained Evan.

"How is that an answer."

Then they made it to the center of the ice cave, it has vegetation despite being in a glacier, waterfalls, and most of all dragons.

"This is where you've been hiding all this time." said Connor in amazement.

"Actually, I've been living here." Evan corrected as Shade was now being surrounded by other dragons. Then Evan was starting to get interested in him. "Amazing." he said, then he began to check him out.

"He's the same age as you. Retractable teeth. And could be one of the rarest species." Connor was amazed at his brother's zoology.

"How did you find him?" Evan asked.

"I found him in the forest. He was being taken care of by a little girl." explained Connor, but Evan wasn't amused.

"Yeah, right." he sarcastically said, which surprised Connor.

"What? Are you saying humans are mean?" said Connor, then Evan began showing the injured dragons to his big brother.

"This Snapplefang lost one of his legs to those iron traps. This Raincutter had a wing sliced by a razor net. And this Hobblegrunt was blinded by a tree snare and left alone." said Evan.

"Why yes, but everyone only hurt dragons because they didn't understand them." Connor started. "But me and my friends the Dragon Warriors stepped in and convinced everyone to befriends with the dragons and now, a peaceful coexistence." he explained to Evan. Then Evan sighed and began to explain.

"Well you're not the only one who tried to convince everyone. I tried but people won't listen." said Evan.

Flashback:

Years ago before the Warriors came to East Liverpool, Origa brought terror to the city by unleashing dragons. Everyone fled from them but the dragons kept attacking and even some people tried to defend themselves.

Then at the home of the Bzinaks, Evan is watching through the window looking frightened, but nit from the dragon attack but from the people.

"It was usual humans hurtung dragons, they say that their dangerous. Like our mom said."

Then suddenly, he heard something breaking in. He went to the living room and spotted a dragon that would soon become Evan's friend. But he didn't hurt the family dog, instead he was just looking at the dog curiosly. Evan take a closer look where he watches Buddy not running away from the dragon but sniffing it.

"But that's when I discovered that I was right about one thing. Dragons are amazing, and can even become friends.

But Evan's fasination was interrupted after he stepped on a creaky floor, and the sound turned the dragon's attention to him. As the dragon looked at him, his eyes began to soften and so did Evan. And just as he was about to make physical contact with him, the drahon was hit by a pan, he turned and spotted his mom with a fearful look in her eyes.

"Evan! Get away from it!" yelled Carrie. But in retaliation, the dragon breathed fire but Carrie got away from the attack.

"Stop!" Evan yelled, then the dragon looked at him again. And this time he grabbed Evan and flew away with the rest of the dragons.

"EVAN!!!" yelled Carrie in total heartbreak.

Flashback end:

"I almost killed mom. Because I wasn't scared." Evan finished.

"Well now I know." Connor said softly.

"But I wasn't alone. Doublewing took care of me, and I took care of him in return." he said. "And was also trained by other dragons, and I found myself a place where I belong to the Great Bewilderbeast."

And Evan showed Connor a giant white dragon that's as big as Doomsday, and has two giant tusks and in his presence dragons began to bow at him.

"Many dragons have queens, but the Bewilderbeast is the king and they follow his leadership." explained Evan. Then they saw baby dragons playing around the Dragon King. "Except for the babies they don't listen." he finished. Then the Bewilderbeast walked towards to Connor and he blew snow at him.

"He likes you." Evan giggled.

"Yeah, right." Connor said as he brushed the snow off of him. "But anyway you should come home with me, everyone will be thrilled to see you alive." he said to Evan in excitement. But Evan wasn't excited at all, instead he was worried.

"That does sound thoughtful of you but, I don't think that the people or my family will find out that I'm the Dragon Thief. If I do I'll be in big trouble." said a disheartened Evan, which causes Connor frown.

"This sounds worse then trying to make a turn on a dragon." said Connor.

"I can fix that." then Evan used two of his fangers and pressed down on the back of Shade's neck, and then his back fins opened up which surprises both Connor and Shade. "Now can make those tight turns." he said, as Shade purred happily at his new features.

Later the Warrors are following William and Wrecker, but then they stopped. And they stopped because they spotted an ice mountain in the middle of the forest.

"That's where Connor is?!" Luu Luu questioned in shock.

"Of course, you have to believe Wrecker." said William.

"Well, if Connor's in there. Then we've gotta save him." Alicia said with determination. Then everyone got into the glacier so they can find Connor. But what they didn't know is that Calvin is spying on them, and he took out his communicator to contact Victor.

"Victor. I've spotted the Dragon Warriors in the forest, and you have got to see this." said Calvin.

Back in the Dragon Sanctuary, Connor and Shade are watching other dragons flying around feeling safe.

"Can you blame Evan Shade. He was just trying to convince everyone that dragons can be friends but they wouldn't listen." said Connor. "If I was still around I can listen to him, right?" he said to Shade, and he shook his head.

"Yeah, me neither." then they heard something from the bushes, Connor and Shade prepared themselves to fight. The bushes continue to rustle and came out, the Warriors.

"There you are." said Vault.

"What are you guys doing here?" asked Connor.

"We're here to reecue you." spoked Grave.

"Whoa, OK, first off I wasn't kidnapped." Connor began to explain. "And second-," but before he can explain, they heard rumbling coming from outside the sanctuary.

And it turned out, the Ancient Guardians are trying to break into the sanctuary.

"Are you sure that those Warriors are in this glacier?" Victor said to Calvin.

"Yes sir, I've seen them with my own eyes, they must be keeping something that could use." Calvin said.

"Then keep firing, I want what's inside that glacier!" Victor ordered, then the Ancient Guardians began to open fire. The lasers began to rumble the ice of the glacier. But then the Warriors came out and began to fire back.

"Protect the sanctuary Warriors!" said Connor, then they dive down to attack. Kaguya threw her cards at the blasters which causes them to damage the blasters, and Yusha blasted fire at them and fired her spikes at the same time.

Then Flame and Smoke did their usual fire wall attack on them, and Connor took out his and sliced down some blasters. But then Trouble appeared and took out his blaster and he fired the blast to the sky, and the blast split which electrocuted the Warriors which causes them to crash down. Trouble walked forward to finish them off himself to prevent any more distractions.

"Whatever you guys are looking in that glacier it's not there." Connor said to Trouble.

"Could be, could be not. You're in my way." said Trouble, and just he was about to pull the trigger he and the rest of the Ancient Guardians heard roaring coming from behind the glacier. And came out Evan in full costume riding on Doublewing, and behind them are dragons who are now joining the fight.

"Who's he?" Maia questioned,

"That's my brother Evan." Connor answered, which shocked the Warriors.

"That's your brother!" Alicia said in shock.

The Ancient Guardians try to blast them but the dragons outmaneuvered the shots, and they blast them back which causes them to take cover, and then a Zippleback did a flaming wheel attack which destroyed their vehicles. And then Shade flew up again, but Trouble aimed his blaster at them.

"Let's hope this works." said Connor, then Shade opened his back fins and then Trouble began to fire, but thanks to the discovery Shade was able to avoid the blasts with such precision and then Doublewing came along.

"Tornado fire!" yelled Evan, and Doublewing fired at Trouble, but he wasn't going down easy so Evan got off of Doublewing and took out his staff, and he began striking him with it. And just as he was winning Trouble grabbed his staff and punched him down to the ground. "I'm not gonna let you hurt these dragons!" he said.

"You think I care about what happens to these dragons?!" Trouble yelled to his supposed deceased son. "You think I care about what happens to the world?! All I care is form Owen to pay for what he done!" he yelled, which causes Evan to remember.

"And there is nothing. Nothing, you can do to stop me."

"Not even a giant dragon?" said Evan. Which causes Trouble to raise his eyebrow in confusion, and everyone heard rumbling coming from inside the glacier, and then the Bewilderbeast burst out and roared. The sight of the dragon leaves the Ancient Guardians in shock, and the Bewilderbeast basted ice which causes them to get away from it.

"Let's get out of here!" Victor ordered, and he and the rest of the Ancient Guardians fled, but Trouble gave the Warriors one last glare.

"This isn't over!" said Trouble as he too fled.

Later the Dragon Warriors are recuperating from the attack, as Connor finished explaining.

"And that's how he's been living with them." Connor finished.

"I can't believe your little brother is still alive! And he's riding a Stormcutter!" said Vault as he placed a bowl of fish for Shade only for Doublewing to eat them all. Realizing that Shade was hungry, Doublewing regurgitated the rest of the fishes and Shade happily ate them leaving Luu Luu to gag in disgust.

"And I've been saving dragons ever since." Evan added.

"That's great!" said Grave with a smile. "With you on board, we can beat Origa." he said.

"But it's his choice if he wants to." Claudia said to Grave. And Connor knows what he has to say.

"Evan. Are you sure you don't want to come home?" Connor asked Evan.

"Yes. I do miss my home. But, have to stay here with my family." said Evan as other dragons gathered around him.

"I understand." Connor said to Evan. "But no matter where you are, you are always my brother." he smiled, and so did everyone.
