ever since sasuke got engaged, his pace in streaming has slowed down a little. not that we ever complain (because how could we? he's the happiest we've ever seen him!) but we missed him a lot. his serious face when he's playing resident evil, his apprehensive one when it's silent hill, his competitive look when he's out playing gang beasts with the boys… we all love to see it!
but there is one particular version of him that we will never get enough of— his jealous side. we've seen it a handful of times but only glimpses of how he can be when he's green with envy. and who else can bring this out better than his (and at this point, ours too) best girl, sakura? but boy oh boy was the surprise stream last night a treat and a half.
just like any other of his streams, it started with small talk and set up. it has been a few months since sasuke was on stream and his sexy low man bun is now gone, replaced by a shorter cut of his hair enabling us to see his face in its full glory. he ran his hand through his head, silky strands flopping seductively as he did it, and gave his chat his greeting for the new year.
"thank you for still being here," he said in earnest, making our hearts flutter. (of course we'll still be here!)
he obviously filled out, his chest and shoulders more prominent through his simple white tee. sakura must've been feeding him too well and making him so happy that his mouth was slightly curved all throughout the first half of his stream. he mainly focused on playing baldur's gate and was doing so well until one particular comment from his viewers caught his eye.

he read it aloud in his usual cool, calm, collected voice and his good vibes from the beginning of the stream suddenly went away; a frown replacing his easy grin from earlier.
"psh," he murmured, sounds of aggressive clicking noises from his mouse and keyboard echoed as well. "sakura's already too obsessed with that game. she can't stop talking about it sometimes. she was screaming at it the other day because of an update or something." sasuke was pretty much talking about the latest spicy content of the game and we didn't even need to ask what he thought of it because it was already written on his face.
that question snowballed into even more questions about the game and sasuke's opinion of it, and his ongoing game was paused to take a look at the otome game that has apparently taken over his girl's attention. he didn't say it out loud but his grumpy, almost pouty face said it all. it was too cute to handle!
the trailer for the newest suggestive banner was being played and sasuke's reaction was priceless. he stopped 30 seconds in the video, pausing at a white-haired character's face on the screen, and glared at it. "the fuck?" he blurted out. "has it always been like this?"
he was busy looking into the details of the game when a sound of an opening door came. his attention immediately went to it and his frown disappeared as he whispered, "hey love, welcome home."
"i'm home, my love," a now-familiar voice replied and the chat went wild with pink hearts and cherry blossom emojis. "did you eat al- wait, why are you looking at sylus? are you watching the current banner's trailer?"
sasuke's sappy look was again erased from his face and he looked away from her and back to his monitor. "my chat's been asking about this, too."
her melodic giggles followed and her faint footsteps could be heard until she's right beside his chair where he's leaning back in obvious disdain. she ducked her head and her pretty green eyes glitter, "trust me, i've tried telling him to play this game on stream but he refuses!"
he slightly glared at her from his seat, "i know i'm not gonna play it in the long run, so why start it? also, why is this so… horny?"
she looked back at him, her voice still tinged with mirth, "you always try anything when it's suggested by many even if it's not your cup of tea. what's different now? also, it's not always like that. it's just a special treat this time because it's the anniversary." we all know this isn't exactly true (hello misty invasion banner) but we're not gonna tell sasuke about that. we got you girl!
sasuke didn't say anything and instead squinted at her before crossing his arms, "you play it. let me see."
"you told me you don't wanna know what i do with the characters. are you sure?"
he opened his mouth then closed it abruptly. then after another second, he half-heartedly answered, "aa."
and that's when sasuke's initial stream became sakura's love and deepspace playthrough. sasuke held her on his lap as she set up quickly, allowing the fans to see her current stats with all the love interests. meanwhile, her fiance watched over her shoulder the entire time.
"whatever this one told you guys, i'm not too obsessed with this game," she declared while reaching a hand back to pat sasuke's cheek lightly. "but i enjoy it so much. ino and tennie play as well and we bond over it." we all knew tenten, neji's girlfriend, is a loyal xavier enjoyer. while ino, aka babyblues, is a hard sylus enthusiast. during this stream, we all learned that sakura is a zayne girl.
"as you can see, i'm already almost at 100 affinity with zayne. he's my prio, but i love all of them. though i have a special soft spot for rafayel because he can be such a cutie sometimes! his cat banner card oh my god!"
"this one's my favorite card of his, he was so funny drunk. but business trip kinda hits different, not gonna lie."
"gosh i cried on his myth! it was so painful!"
sakura was busy answering questions and playing the game while sasuke sulkily watched her from the back. his hands were busy slowly running back and forth her arms and his nose were occasionally bumping her exposed shoulder. it was as if he was trying to distract her, but sakura was engrossed in playing her dailies and even completing trials and battle hunts.

when this comment popped up, sakura looked back at his man. "you okay there?"
he made a noise and looped his arm around her waist, "hmp.."
sakura laughed and leaned back against him, "you're so cute, sasuke-kun… what do i do with you?"
"stop talking about this… doctor or whatever he is… it's bad enough you're into all of them, but having a favorite is not fair."
"you'd rather my favorite is you, then? or even that is not an option?"
sasuke was about to retort but stopped before he could say something. he tightened his hold on her and pressed his face on her back. he murmured something unintelligible.
"hm? what was that, love?" sakura asked.
it was quite some time before he answered, this time more clearly, which made his chat go crazy— "i want to be your only favorite."
in return, sakura blushed prettily. her smile was blinding, even more so than the ring on her finger glaring at the camera for all the world to see, as she ran her fingers through his hair.
"in a sense, you're all of them combined. at least in my eyes," sakura confessed. sasuke's curiosity was piqued since his one eye was visible from over her shoulder.
"xavier is strong, reliable, and loyal to a fault. he likes to play games and acts like a cat sometimes— sleepy, jealous, territorial," she nudged him by her shoulder. "sounds just like you, love." sasuke could only grunt.
"rafa's passionate about what he does. he can be bratty at times, annoying even…" this earned her a soft pinch at the waist and she yelped, but continued. "but when he chooses to be vulnerable and open, he's emotional and complex and so so beautiful."
"now sylus… he looks like a bad boy but he's actually the greenest flag. you're the same in your tender ways of taking care of your beloved, even if it's simply cooking for them or giving them everything they need and more. protective, selfless, and is built like a tree." he huffed behind her, an obvious tell of him covering a laugh, and she smiled in triumph.
"then zayne is someone who can be stoic or nonchalant, but never insensitive. he's so attuned to what the mc needs, so respectful, and he's such a gentleman. he knows when's the right time to push and pull, and he seems like the type that's non-affectionate outside but can break an arm for his loved one."
sasuke looked at her and softly said, "i can do that for you."
sakura smiled knowingly, "i know you would. not that i ever want you to."
he placed a soft kiss on her shoulder, "but just say the word and i'll do it… i'll break naruto's arms, and legs too, if he ever tries to kill you again in gta."
she bursted out laughing and behind her, we could see sasuke's equally triumphant grin. it was all so soft and lovely and we were all crying of envy.
sakura twisted her body so she could hug him and sasuke buried his face on her neck in return, "guess this doctor is alright…"
all was well again until another set of comments brought back sasuke's dark aura upon seeing his chat.

perhaps the most important takeaway we can get from this is the fact that sasuke is lucky enough to be sakura's outlet for any aftereffects these spicy cards and audios may cause her. because god knows not a single soul was unaffected, and not all of us have a hot fiance to unleash all our pent-up feelings into.
you'll thank this game soon enough, sasuke our boi. #LuckySasuke
