DM Lucy The Clown Chapter 1
One day in Gru's house, Edith and Agnes were watching TV. Margo was in their bedroom that they shared doing homework. The younger girls were watching a circus programme. Edith and Agnes watched an animal tamer sticking his head into a lion's mouth. Lucy came into the living room. She saw the clowns on TV and watched with interest. Lucy remembered the time when her dad had dressed as a clown for her sixth birthday one year when she was a little girl. She also remembered her mom taking her to see a circus performance with clowns training an elephant. ''Ah, good times'' sighed Lucy happily. She looked at Edith and Agnes and imagined them as clowns. ''Ah!'' gasped Lucy. ''Mom, are you OK?'' asked Edith.
''Uhhh…'' said Lucy closing her eyes and opening them and stopped imagining, ''Yes! Never better!''. Lucy went down the hallway. Margo was in the hallway as well having finished with her homework. Lucy imagined her eldest daughter as a clown, too. ''Ah!'' she shrieked. ''Mom, what's wrong?'' asked Margo. ''Nothing, Margo'' replied Lucy shaking herself. At dinner time, Lucy made a circus tent out of the mashed potatoes they were having. Once again she imagined her whole family as clowns including the dogs, goat and minions. ''OK! That's the straw!'' said Lucy snapping back into reality, ''You people have stood in my way long enough! I'm gonna be the best clown I can be!''. Lucy looked at her laptop on how to be the best clown you can be. She decided to go to clown college and there she went.
At the campus, lots of people were there. Poppy Prescott's uncle, Peter came into the room where Lucy and the others were gathered. ''Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen'' he said, ''On your first day of being a clown, your coach today will be Bubbles the Clown King''. Bubbles entered the room. He was a stout man with a blue shirt, green pants, red jacket, wild rainbow hair, large orange shoes, big polka-dotted tie, and a golden crown-like hat. ''Alright, there can only be one clown in each territory. So I hope this works out. Tell me where you're from'' he said ''New York'' said one man. ''London'' said a second man. ''Texas'' said one woman. ''Russia'' said a second woman. ''Rome'' said a third man.
''Scotland!'' said Lucy. Everyone stared at her, puzzled.
''Ha! Just kiddin'. I live in this country with my family'' laughed Lucy. At the bike testing grounds with a loopy-loop, Bubbles held up a small bike, ''You use this midget bicycle to follow this path and do a loopy-loop so you have to like peddle as fast as you can'' he explained. Lucy changed into a white shirt, green pants with white polka dots, and white and black sneakers. She got on the small bike and pedalled away. It was very wobbly. ''Steady, steady, steady!'' said Lucy, but then she fell over, ''Oooorgh!'' she grunted. Lucy tried again, but this time, her pants got caught in the bike pedals and pulled down to expose her bare buttocks! ''Uhhh, burn that seat, will ya?'' said Bubbles. The next session was making balloon animals.
''These balloons are four bucks each. Get a cheap one, and what happens? Goes off!'' Bubbles told everyone, ''It'll take out every eyeball anyone in the room. What's that gonna cost you?'' then he turned to Peter, ''No seriously what's that gonna cost us?''. The next session was a throwing a custard pie in someone's face. Bubbles stood next to a butler, ''So, yeah, when a butler comes in, the party's over, right? Wrong-o!'' he said as he threw a custard pie into the man's face, ''HA!'', he burst out laughing. Back at Gru's house, Lucy got changed into her clown costume. She put on orange-and-yellow stripped trousers and white and black shoes. Lastly she put on a sleeved blue shirt. But Lucy wasn't finished yet, she applied some make up to her face to look like a clown and put a rainbow wig over her ginger hair.
''Ta-daaaaaa!'' said Lucy coming out of her bedroom. Margo, Edith and Agnes were surprised. Was this really their mom? ''Mom?!'' gasped Margo. ''Why are you dressed like that?'' asked Edith. ''I'm got a new occupation!'' replied Lucy. ''I thought you still work as an AVL agent'' said Margo. ''I do. I have two jobs now'' explained Lucy. Several days later Lucy went to a clown college graduation. ''Ladies and gentlemen, meet our new clown successors!'' said a man, 'Now come and get your diplomas''. As Lucy watched everyone taking their diplomas, she noticed the man was giving everyone an electric shock as he shook their hands. When it was her turn to get a diploma, she took it and used her lipstick taser on the man so he couldn't give her an electric shock like he had given everyone else. ''Lipstick taser!'' announced Lucy.
For her first day as clown, Lucy put on a show at Pooh Burger. The kids gathered around as the host with a microphone approached from behind a tower of burgers. ''Boys and girls, welcome to our famous ceremony of the lovable bear Winnie The Pooh himself. And here we have a collection of the merchandise!'' he said. The children cheered with delight. ''And now'' continued the host, ''I proudly presents our newest clown. Sassy!''. Lucy approached from behind the burgers, ''Hey, everybody!'' she said. The children cheered.
The rest of the Gru family was there too. ''Hi, mom!'' called Agnes. ''Shush, Agnes!'' hissed Margo. Lucy spoke into the microphone, ''To audience, I now proclaim this new burger and Winnie the Pooh merchandise for sale!''. The kids cheered. Lucy started doing cartwheeling and flips The top of her buttocks stuck out when doing so.
