(Bang Bang) The loud sound from the gate made everyone inside the house frantic about who might be out there. They all had secrets to protect. "It might be the Kerion," Haeyon shivered under his little blue blanket. "Why would it want anything? It can only appear when someone has an evil secret. None of us does, right?" Marie asked, looking at everyone and hesitantly placing a loathful gaze on Labeth. Labeth and Marie have known each other since shadows could tell time. They were buddies, they fought mythical creatures together, and even brought their group together. After the fight with Belsa, a wicked powerful king, Labeth withdrew herself from Marie but stayed together because of the family.

The sound was getting louder, they lived in the middle of an enchanted forest, the house was covered by a tall fence and a redundantly big gate. Everyone looked towards the door, deciding within themselves if they should go. "I'm going to check", Damien said shakily, rising from his bed and walking towards the door. After the door shut after him, there was silence inside the house. Labeth crept towards the door and about turning the knob, the door flew open with Damien helping a giant inside, he was one of the friends Labeth and Marie brought together during their quest. "Why didn't you open?", Odyeus asked looking pitiful as he was drenched in water. "They were scared, they thought it was the Kerion", Damien said avoiding the eyes of everyone else in the room. "The Kerion?, I haven't had of any use of the portal in months. Did you become scared because I told you the story of the Kerion?", Odyeus asked smiling as if he just won a battle. Odyeus was two hundred years old but still behaved like eleven years old Haeyon, that's because Odyeus was still a youngling in giant age. Labeth and Marie were five years older than Haeyon while Damien was one year older than Labeth. "The only reason you should be scared is if it's a bad Kerion, but a good Kerion wouldn't hurt you. I know that some of these Kerion's have worked for Belsa, he turned them bad", Odyeus said whimpering at the corner where he sat. "What type of secret would be that bad for it to come looking for us though?", Labeth stood up. "Oh! You have anything you want to tell us?", Marie asked while walking towards the kitchen and all she got from Labeth was a glare.

There was a feast the next day, all the creatures that lived in the forest would come and eat together. Labeth and her friends were going too. The forest was overseen by an old olive tree that could take the form of a man, his name was Jibri. The forest was figuratively his child, he was the oldest and most powerful tree in the forest, he also had a keen eye for trustworthy persons. "They have shown great bravery and honor to the beautiful children of this enchantment. They fought the mythics, which I am still uncertain of, they battled with Belsa and showed us love, let's flap a wing, feather, leaves, hooves, petals and claws for Labeth, Marie, Haeyon, Damien and our baby Odyeus", with a woo and a wee, everyone had smiles on there faces and spoke with good joy. No one had noticed the dark aura that passed.
