Izuku stood in his bathroom as he dabbed a cold water cloth over the burns on his arm.
The burns, resembling handprints, marred his arm, each mark a testament to the struggle he faced. The burns, a result of a recent confrontation with a classmate, were a painful reminder of the challenges he had to endure.
"Why is like this," Izuku asked himself as he used the cloth.
But he failed to see his mother looking at him through the door.
Her Resolve to shield her son from harm was unyielding, a Fierce determination burning in her eyes as she saw the mark on his back.
A hand with a bursting burn pattern going outwards from the hand scowled, "Bakugo," She growled in her head.
She walked away from the bathroom and moved so that her son could not hear her before she picked up her phone and called her husband, "Hello," She heard on the other end.
"Hisashi, is that offer from the relocation program still available?" She asked her husband about a program that could provide a safe environment for Izuku away from his current school. "It is, but I can't help but ask why Inko, "Hisashi asked his wife.
"It is, but I can't help but ask, why Inko," Hisashi asked his wife.
Inko looked back towards the bathroom, "Katsuki is hurting our son, he has a hand mark on the back with burns around it," She told her husband, who let out a growl.
"I'll start making the paperwork right away," Hisashi told his wife, who nodded at him.
She dialled Bakugo's number; her voice was unwavering as she confronted the person who had hurt her son, her words a testament to her love and bravery.
Two Days Later, Tokyo Airport
Inko and Izuku approached a unique, hybrid-wing aircraft, a state-of-the-art vehicle designed for swift and discreet travel. A man was waiting for them, the pilot of this extraordinary machine.
He had light skin, short blond hair combed back, and a short beard neatly trimmed. Pointing out of his head were horns that looked like a crown was on his head. He was dressed in a fine black suit with black shoes.
"Are you Inko Midoirya," The man asked as the two got close to him.
"Yes," She told him, a sense of relief washing over her as he led the mother and son onto the aircraft.
Once the two were on, the aircraft's wings started to fold down before taking off.
And they flew away.
On the ground was a woman with blond hair and red eyes. She looked at the jet take off and the papers in her hand.
Hospital bills for all the damage the woman's son had done to Izuku. "Inko, I'm," she muttered as she turned away from the airport and walked away.
Back on the aircraft, Inko looked at her son and saw the sad look in his eyes. "Izuku," she called to him as her son turned to her. "This is for the best. "With how Katsuki is hurting you, he has marked you with his Quirk. He should be in prison for that, but he is too young," Inko told her son, who nodded at her.
"I know, but I just...," Izuku said before he looked out the window.
Inko looked at him sadly.
Three Days Later, I-Island, Midoria House
Izuku watched TV at home with his mother and father.
His father looked like an older version of his son, but he had black hair.
"And here we are from the centre of Qinghai, where the earthquake had struck, and the Heroes are still bringing out bodies from the location," the news reporter told them as Izuku looked at his father.
"Why are their no fist responders on the sean," He asked him as Hisashi sighed.
"While there are groups of first responders in the world, the numbers of groups are getting smaller and smaller as the world wants to focus on Heroes," Hiashi told his son, who looked shocked before he gained an idea as both his mother and father saw the looked on their son's face.
"What's with the look," Inko asked him.
"It's nothing," Izuku said as he banished the thought that bloomed in his head.
"No, no, what did you think up," Hisashi asked his son.
Izuku looked at his father before he looked back at the TV. "I was thinking if I could create a first responder group, and then I was thinking how I could do that without a Quirk, and I was thinking tech," he told his father, who looked amazed.
They stayed up for a few more hours before Izuku went to bed, "What are you thinking Hisashi," Inko asked her husband as he looked at her.
"I was thinking about creating a group of first responders, and Izuku can lead it. I Island can make the tech they use, and you can write up the contract," he said as his wife looked at him.
"But what about the traninnig?" Inko asked him as he raised a brow.
"Training from all forms of military, astronaut training, aquanaut training, medical training," Hisashi said as Inko looked amazed by what he was saying.
"How will they get from place to place," She asked him.
"I don't know yet, but I was thinking a jat or something," Hisashi told her as she nodded. I'll bring it up with the others in the morning," he said to his wife, who nodded at him, and the two went to bed.
Two Days Later, I Island Central Tower, Floor 120, Meeting Room of the Leaders of I Island
Hisashi sat in the meeting as he listed to the other eleven drones about what they were doing before it was his turn, "Thank you, Johan; now then, Hisashi, you said that you had an idea on what we can do next," A woman with long blue hair that was tied back into a ponytail and she wore a dark grey suit.
"I do, Jessica," Hisashi said as he stood up and pulled out a remote and pressed it as holograms showed different types of disasters, "Over the last five to six years, the world has come to a standstill, tech-wise, and with that, a lot of the technology is going into the Hero industry, and not so much the emergency services, and after the most resent natural disater in China I have come up with an idea to help even the odds and put us back on track," He told them as he pressed the remote once more as it showed a suit.
The suit had boots that moved into a full-body flight suit with a jacket over the top and gloves that were part of the suit. Around the waist was a utility belt, and from one shoulder to the other was a pocket bandolier. It also had a helmet with a visor, a gasmask, and a head torch.
"This suit is heatproof, waterproof, laserproof, and bulletproof," Hisashi told them as screens appeared in front of the others as they looked at the screens. "The suit has a rebreather that allows for five hours of air use; it can attach to a oxygen takt that adds another five to six hours." He told them as they all rubbed their chin.
"The helmet has a heads-up display that allows you to scan for people, see how much oxygen the wearer has or in the air around them, and has a communicator that can reach a distance worldwide," Hisashi told them, and they all liked what they were hearing.
"How bright is the torch on the helmet?" A man had long brown hair swept back, and his lower body was that of a horse while he was dressed in a dark brown suit.
"It has a fifteen-meter light range," He told them as they nodded at him.
"Now, while this sounds interesting, who or what is this for?" said a woman with blue skin and six arms dressed in a dark purple suit.
"I'm glad you asked that Susan," Hisashi asked as he turned the holograms off with another remote press, "After watching the aftermath of the earthquake in Qinghai three days ago and having a talk with my son, who asked a compelling question, where were the first responders, and that was when I realised that we put too much responsibility on both Heros and those with Quriks, and with our dependance on the two, we acsept the reason Heros give whent they say 'My Quirk will not work' and so that they can not do anythig and wait for another Hero to turn up and eather people die or the situation get's worse," He told them as they all nodded at them.
"That is true," said A man who looked like a Minotaur and was wearing a tan suit.
"And so I was thinking, and hear me out, what if we create a first responder group, and the ones that lead them are both my son, Izuku Midoriya, and David's daughter, Melissa Shield, and with them both being Qurikless, they will not have the same problem that the Heros have with saying that their Qurik does not fit, as they do not have it," Hisashi said as people narrowed his eyes at him, "But they will have technology such as gadgets, vehicles and other pieces of tech that will aid them in saving lives from people in danger after natural disasters or other types of things that Heroes just will not do," He told them as people nodded at him.
"Now, while I want to help my little girl in wanting to be a Hero, and if she agrees to do this, how and what type of training will they be getting, "A man asked, and he was a tall man of an average build with aqua eyes and light brown hair. He has light wrinkles on his face from age. His hair is short and messy, with two prominent tufts for bangs, and he has a short goatee. He wears wide-rimmed, square glasses, a blue button-up, pale pants, a dark belt with a metal buckle, and navy sneakers with a red accent and light soles. He also wears a dark watch and a wedding ring on his left arm.
"I'm glad you asked David," Hisahi told him as he looked at him. "I was thinking about back in the pre-Qurik era, the types of training that someone would go through army basic training, pilot training, navy sailing training, astronaut training, and any other training that will aid them in their future in making this a possibility." He told them as they all nodded at him.
"It seems interesting," David said as he rubbed his chin.
"You mentioned gadgets, vehicles, and other pieces of tech. What will they be using?" a tall blond man with a tie back and a pair of ram horns dressed in a green suit asked Hisashi.
"I was thinking about the engines that we were creating, an engine that can help with a jet that goes at supersonic speeds, and so far, I have only created two designs for the first two jets, one that is a carrier, and one that is the first on the scene and gives the second the information that is needed," Hisashi told the man who nodded at him.
"What will it carry?" a man who looked like a Long-Tailed Macaque and was dressed in a white suit asked the man with the fire Quirk.
"I am currently calling them 'pods', and they each will hold something, like a fire engine, an ambulance, or a drill for underground rescues," he told the monkey-looking man.
"Now this seems like a good idea, but who will train them? Where will they be trained? And how will the uniform work with them?" a woman with red hair tied in a ponytail that allowed two strands to frame her face with the upper part of a dark red suit with a skirt, as instead of legs, she had a long snake tail, asked.
"I'm glad you asked Clio; I was thinking here on I-Island and then on this Island that is being sold by that billionaire, Jeff Tracy," Hisashi told them as they nodded, "We can build all the equipment that is needed for them, and for who's going to be doing their training, Aloysius Parker, along with the Creighton-Ward family, who's daughter is around Izuku and Millisa's age, and some former Heroes can also train them," He added as they were all pleased.
A man who looked like a wolf and was dressed in a dark blue suit stood up. "Let us put this to a vote. All those in favour of this team, raise your hands," he called out as all twelve hands were raised. As there were zero votes, the motion passed, and the new first responder group would now be created," the man said as Hisashi smiled.
Three Hours Later, Midoria Resadance
Hizashi and Inko were waiting for Izuku as they talked about who they would bring from around the world to teach their son before the green-haired boy walked in, "Izuku, I have some good news for you," Hisashi told his son. He looked at his father, confused, but nodded, "Now, I know you want to be a Hero, but the world sadly thinks you need a Qurik to be a Hero. But I found a way that you can be seen as one," He added as Izuku nodded.
"Yeah?" Izuku asked with a smile as His father nodded.
"Yes, it is a first responder group. I have yet to create a name for it. Still, you will lead this group with gadgets, vehicles, and other equipment in saving and rescuing people from disasters," Hisashi told his son, who nodded as a smile formed on Izuku's face, "But the first thing we're going to need is for you to be trained. We are finding the right people to do that, as we are looking for former Heros to train you," He told his son, who gained a look in the eye before he rushed to his room to the confused looks of Inko and Hisashi before he came rushing back.
And they saw that he was carrying notebooks.
His Hero Notebooks.
"I think that these people could do the training; the current American number 5, Captain America, has the Quirk, Enhanced Body; he works for the US Army in training their recruits," Izuku said as he handed his father the notebook and opened another one, "Second is the American number 2, Batman, his Qurik is Hight IQ, his Quirk makes him one of the mest detectives, but he raised the ranks with his skills that range from diving to flying," He added as Hisashi flipped to the pages of the two Heroes his son told him.
"The British number 19 Hero, Excaliber, can teach medical knowledge, and then there is the current Japanese number 55, Lady Nagant, from some slight hacking I've found out the Japanese Hero Commission was uing her for assassinations, so if you can get her away from them she can help the world," Izuku said as his mother and father looked at him before they smiled at him.
"We can do that. But can you do us something?" Hisashi asked his son, who nodded at him. Can you design the jets that you and Melissa will use?" He asked the boy, who nodded and started to sketch.
After a few hours, he showed his father two designers. "Alright, here is the first, and I'm going to call them Thunderbirds," Izuku said as he showed his father. This one is called Thunderbird 1," he added.
The design had a sharp red nosecone, a cylindrical silver body, and a powerful blue engine.
"I designed Thunderbird 1 to be built for pure speed. It can reach anywhere on Earth within an hour," Izuku told his father, who nodded.
"That is evident from the number of rearward thrusters," Hisashi told him as he liked the design of the jet.
"It is designed to mainly take off vertically, but Thunderbird 1 shifts and stays into horizontal flight shortly after, and it can then take off with four powerful VTOL jets located down the body," Izuku explained to his father as Inko smiled at them.
"You said there that Thunderbird 1 has a high-speed mode and a slow/landing speed mode. Is that what you mean?" Hisashi asked as he looked at the specks on the side of the paper that Izuku had given him.
"During the former, which it launches in, the small sweep back wings are entirely tucked in, and the cross-shaped bottom is positioned like an 'X'.
"Yes, you see, I think that when it comes down for a landing or simply when it's flying slower and steadier, the wings extend, and the back rotates into an X, and when it is landing, the wing Must be fully extended when landing horizontally since landing gear are located within them, and when it is reaching it's point of launch is only then its lands vertically," Izuku told him as Hisashi nodded at him.
"I see how ill the pilot see," The man asked his son, who pointed at one side where Izuku had drawn a large glass window for the pilot and bay doors in the midsection, while the topside just had "THUNDERBIRD" written down it, completed by the "1".
"This large glass window can open up, and the chair can be carried outside via a robotic arm, providing swift entrance and exit, and the interior goes from the nosecone to the wings with the pilot's chair located at the front, near the nosecone, where the windows are, and as there are no front-facing windows, everything is fet to the pilot by a forward holographic display," The boy told his father before he moved his finger to the belly of the jet, "For the rest of the interior, where the ceiling contains a long-ranged electromagnetic cable, that has different types of attachments on end, and has a rescue capsule to transport a single individual," Izuku said as he finished with telling his father the specks and the man was amazed by what his son had done before he saw three things.
"What are these?" He asked his son, who looked at and pointed at parts of Thunderbird 1.
"Well, I was thinking about if the pilot could not get out of Thunderbird 1 as it would be too dangerous; they are there to help with those dangers," Izuku said as Hisashi nodded at his son, "The first is for fires, Liquid Nitrogen Missiles, the exit point is within the nosecone; the second is, what I call a pod factory, within the body of Thunderbird 1 has a small single person short-range flying capsule that allows the pilot to get in close to a target where Thunderbird 1's size would be a disadvantage; and the third is are Remote Control Drones," Izuku told his father who nodded at him.
"I see, what is the second one?" Inko asked her husband and saw that Izuku was on the same page as him when he talked to the council.
"This one is Thunderbird 2," Izuku said as the pitcher he drew looked like a wide-body, green-coloured, somewhat blocky plane with small forward-swept wings, a massive rear spoiler, and large rectangular engine intakes on either side.
"Now, while it is bulkier and slower than Thunderbird 1, the two rearward engines are powerful enough to allow it to fly at supersonic speeds nonetheless, and it will be capable of vertical take-off and landing through the use of 4 large VTOL jets, that can tilt forwards and backwards, tucked underneath the craft's sides, close to the intakes, can be used for slow and steady flight in all direction and are powerful enough to let Thunderbird 2 to life extreamly heavy obkecjets, and vechicals," Izuku told his father who nodded.
"It seems that we had the same thought about a carrier ship that has modules for different types of rescue scenarios," Hisashi said as his son nodded.
"Yes, and I've designed it as the 'main' Thunderbird for land and sea rescues. For landing, the wings will fold upwards, where the two main entrances can be accessed. One is a manually operated hatch on top, and the other is a platform that can be automatically lowered underneath, and both lead straight to the cockpit," Izuku told his father, who nodded once more.
Hisashi looked at the plans once more before he nodded at them and then looked at his son. "Alright, they'll get you and Melissa trained up soon," he told his son, who nodded, and the family started to eat.
