Hiccup is back at the cove, with a basket of fish and a prosthetic fin.

'Funny I had hide Stormfly here when she was younger and the Light Fury is hiding here.' He thought.

"Hey, girl. I brought breakfast." Hiccup said.

The Light Fury went to the basket of fish.

"I hope you're hungry." Hiccup said.

She knocked it down and opened it the Light Fury went through the fish then she found something that terrified her.

"No, no, no, no! It's okay." Hiccup said.

He dig through the fish and found the eel.

"Yeah, I don't really like eel much either." He said.

He put it into his vest.

The Light Fury starts to eat the fish.

While she's distracted, Hiccup sneaks toward his tail.

The Light Fury has her head in the basket to get every piece of fish while Hiccup lies over her tail.

Okay. That's it. That's it, just stick with good stuff. And don't you mind me? I'll just be back here... minding my own business." Hiccup said.

The Light Fury didn't move.

Hiccup attaches the new tail-fin.

The Light Fury felt her new tail-fin.

"It's okay. Okay... okay... There." Hiccup said.

He the tail rising, Hiccup turned around to see the Light Fury had her wings up and spread.

"Whoa! No! No! No!" He shouted.

The Light Fury takes off in the air while Hiccup holds on to her tail.

They head towards a rock wall.

Hiccup saw the tail-fin had changed processing.

"OH, MY- IT'S WORKING! YES! YES, I DID IT!" Hiccup exclaimed.

As he raised his arm in joy, it was short-lived. As the Light Fury tried to leave the cove, she lost all control and started to fall.

They land in the pond.

"AAAAAGGGGHHHHH! Yeah!" Hiccup shouted.

The next day in Dragon Training.

"Today is about teamwork." Gobber said.

The arena fills with a greenish fog, obscuring the dragon.

"The Hideous Zippleback is extra tricky. One head breathes gas, the other head lights it. Your job is to know which is which." Gobber said as he walked around while the teens started to be surrounded by the gas.

"Razor sharp, serrated teeth that inject venom for pre-digestion. Prefers ambush attack, by crushing its victims-" Fishlegs said.

He and Hiccup were back-to-back both holding buckets full of water.

"Will you please stop that?!" Hiccup shouted.

Ruff and Astrid were doing the same.

'This is annoying.' Astrid thought.

"So where do you think the head it at?" Tuffnut questioned.

Suddenly she and Astrid are drenched.

"There!" Tuffnut said.

"Hey! It's us, idiots!" Ruffnut said.

"Your butts are getting bigger. We thought you were a dragon." Tuffnut said while Snotlout shook his head.

Ruffnut throws her bucket at Tuffnut.

Astrid walks up to Snotlout and punches him in the face.

Tuffnut is then dragged into the wall of smoke.

"Wait!" Astrid said stopping Ruffnut from going after her brother.

A tail knocks them off their feet.

Which causes Astrid to drop her bucket.

Tuffnut runs out of the fog.

"OH, I'M HURT! I AM VERY MUCH HURT!" He exclaimed.

As the other teens ran toward the walls only Hiccup and Fishlegs were left.

"Chances of survival are dwindling into single-digits now." the bigger boy said.

One of the Zippleback heads emerges from the mist.

In a panic, Fishlegs tosses the water on it.

It angrily spews out some green gas.

"Oh. Wrong head." Fishlegs said as he dropped his bucket.

The head sprays a large stream of green gas, and Fishlegs runs off screaming.

Then the dragon's second head came out from the gas.

"Fishlegs! Now, Hiccup!" Gobber said.

Hiccup tried but failed short

The Zippleback pounces, both heads snarling at Hiccup.

"Oh, come on!" Hiccup said

"Hiccup!" Gobber said.

Then everyone could see the Zippleback was backing away from Hiccup.

"Why is it backing away from Hiccup?" Gobber questioned.

No one answered him, they just watched as Hiccup forced the dragon back into its cage.

"Okay! So, are we done? Because I've got some things I need to, uh... Yep. I'll... see-see you tomorrow!" Hiccup said.

He threw the smoked eel into the cage before he closed it.

Everyone looks on in shock as Hiccup leaves the arena.

At the forge, Hiccup making a saddle

'I hope that this works.' Hiccup thought.

At the Cove.

Hiccup presents the saddle to the Light Fury.

The Light Fury shook and started to run around

Hiccup gives chase to put the saddle on.

He was able to catch the Light Fury and put the saddle on it.

Hiccup rides The Light Fury, tugging the prosthetic tail fin with a rope to change its position. The wind blows at them and they tumble backwards.

They land in some type of plant.

The Light Fury starts rolling in the plant comfortably.

Hiccup found a few pieces of the plant on him.

We see Hiccup in the arena with the plant in his hand.

They were training with the Gronckle as it flew around bashing the young Vikings.

Hiccup grounds the Gronckle during training by rubbing Dragon Nip on its nose.

The Groncke roll over in a blissful state.

'I'm definitely calling this dragon nip.' Hiccup thought.

Later Hiccup Twere scratches the Light Fury when he hits a spot below the chin which puts the dragon to sleep.

Back at the cove.

Hiccup was repairing the saddle when he saw the Light Fury was chasing the light reflecting from his hammer.

Back in the arena.

"Meet the Terrible Terror." Gobber said.

The dragon has an iguana-like body, two pairs of horns, one pair of wings, and a tail with a barbed tip and is color green.

"Ha! That's like the size of my-" Tuffnut said.

The Terrible Terror jumps up and bites Tuffnut's nose.

"AH! GET IT OFF! OH, I'M HURT! I AM VERY MUCH HURT!" Tuffnut said.

Hiccup used his shield to repeat his actions with his hammer, leading The Terrible Terror off of Tuffnut and back into its cage.

"Wow, he's better than you ever were." Tuffnut said.

Everyone saw with ease Hiccup lock the cage

'How is he doing this?' Astrid thought.

She is now in the forest working on her skills with axe.

'Just how did he get so good at fighting dragons?' She thought.

When she went to toss her axe at another tree the person in question.

'That was close.' He thought.

He quickly went on his way while dodging Astrid from following him.

After losing her Hiccup makes it to the cove.

Hiccup practices new tail positions with the Light Fury, when the rope snaps and bends the safety hook, leaving rider and dragon attached.

They try flying once more.

'We'll get this.' Hiccup thought.

Hiccup wrote and drew a chart for tail position when they tried another one a strong gust of wind broke the robe that had tied and kept the Light Fury to the ground it had tossing them a few feet away.

"Oh, great." Hiccup said.

When Hiccup and the Light Fury walk out of the brushes they land in, the chip that had keep Hiccup on the saddle is now keeping both him and the dragon together.

"Oh, great." Hiccup said.

Hiccup sneaks The Light Fury into the blacksmith shop to remove the connecting cord.

The Light Fury throws a bucket and Astrid hears the noise.

"Hiccup? Are you in there?" Astrid questioned.

"Astrid. Hey! Hi, Astrid. Hi, Astrid. Hi, Astrid." he said

"I normally don't care what people do, but you're acting weird. Well, weirder." Astrid said.

Hiccup is pulled through the shutter doors. Astrid tries to see what happened but doesn't notice Hiccup flying away with the Light Fury.

'That was close.' Hiccup thought.

The following day the ships returned.

"Well, I trust you found the nest at least?" Gobber questioned.

"Not even close." Stoick answered grumbling while looking down.

"Ah. Excellent." Gobber said.

Then three Vikings came down to help with either the hurt or unloading the damaged ships.

"I hope you had a little more success than me." Stoick said.

"Well, if by success, you mean that your parenting troubles are over with, then... yes." Gobber said as he still didn't figure out how Hiccup learned those tricks with the dragons or why that one Nadder hates the other teens mainly Astrid and Snotlout while liking his best friend's only son.

"Congratulations, Stoick! Everyone is so relieved." One Viking said.

"Out with the old and in with the new, right?!" another said

"No one will miss that old nuisance!" Another Viking said.

"The village is throwing a party to celebrate!" Another Viking said.

"He's gone?" Stoick questioned with a worried look on his face.

"Yeah... most afternoons. But who can blame him? I mean the life of a celebrity's very rough. He can barely walk through the village without being swarmed by his new fans." Gobber said.

This surprises Stoick.

"Hiccup!?" Stoick asks in shock.

"Who would've thought, eh? He has this way with the beasts." Gobber said.

The red-haired man went into thought about that.

Meanwhile with Hiccup.

He was riding the Light Fury.

"Okay there, bud, we're gonna take this nice and slow." He said.

Hiccup and the Light Fury soaring across the ocean, Hiccup on her back

"Here we go. Here we go... position three, no, four. Alright, it's go time." Hiccup said.

He changes the tail fin position with his foot.

"Come on, buddy, come on, buddy!" Hiccup said.

"Yes, it's working!" Hiccup said as he accidentally flew the Light Fury into one of the sea stacks.

"Sorry!" He said.

The Light Fury slap the human with her ear fin.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm on it." Hiccup said.

Hiccup flies the Light Fury into another sea stack

"Position four, uh, three." Hiccup said.

"Yes! Oh, this is amazing! The wind in my.." Hiccup said as he started to enjoy flying, then the wind blew his cheat sheet out of his hand.

"CHEAT SHEET! STOP!" Hiccup shouted.

Hiccup's diagram flies away and he tries to catch it, but unhooks the safety cord and falls. He tries to get back on the saddle, getting smacked with the Light Fury's tail in the process

"NOOOOOO! Oh, gosh! Oh, gods! Oh, no! Alright! You gotta kind angle yourself! Okay, no, no, no... come back down towards me! Come back down- YOW!" Hiccup shouted.

Finally reattaching, the cheat sheet smacks into his face. Hiccup tries to memorize the sheet before smoothly swerving through rocks, swiftly changing tail positions.

"YEEAHHH!" Hiccup shouted excitedly.

The Light Fury then shoots a blast of fire and flies through it

We cut to on a sea stack where Hiccup and the Light Fury are resting.

Hiccup looks slightly singed by the fire earlier.

The Light Fury regurgitates a fish head for Hiccup.

"Uh... no thanks. I'm good." Hiccup said

A flock of Terrible Terrors tries to steal fish and the Light Fury tries to chase them away.

One of them fights the Light Fury over a fish and loses. It tries to attack, only to be blasted in the mouth by the Light Fury, causing it to briefly inflate.

"Not so fireproof on the inside, are you?" Hiccup questioned.

The Terror curls up next to Hiccup like a kitten, purring softly.

"Everything we know about you guys is wrong." Hiccup said.

Later at Hiccup's workshop

Hiccup is seen sketching the Light Fury.

Stoick walks up to the side of the desk.

"Dad! You're back! Gobber's not here, so..." Hiccup said.

"I know. I came looking for you." he said.

"You did?" Hiccup questioned.

"You've been keeping secrets." Stoick said.

"I... have?" Hiccup said worried.

"Just how long did you think you could hide it from me?" Stoick questioned.

"I don't know what you're..." Hiccup said as he was ready to bolt.

"Nothing happens on this island without me hearing about it." Stoick said.

"Oh?" Hiccup said.

'Oh gosh, did he find out about the Light Fury?' Hiccup thought.

"So. Let's talk about that dragon." Stoick said as he sat down.

'Oh gosh he knows.' Hiccup thought.

"Oh, gods. Dad I'm so sorry. I was going to tell you. I just didn't know how to-" Hiccup start to say only to see his father wasn't upset.

"You're not... upset?" Hiccup questioned.

"What?! I was hoping for this!" Stoick said as fatherly joy enter his voice.

"Uh... you were?" Hiccup questioned.

"And believe me, it only gets better! Just wait 'till you spill a Nadder's guts for the first time! And mount your first Gronckle head on a spear! WHAT A FEELING! You really had me going there, son! All those years of the worst Viking Berk has ever seen! Odin, it was rough! I almost gave up on you! And all the while, you were holding out on me! OH, THOR ALMIGHTY! Ah. With you doing so well in the ring, we finally have something to talk about." Stoick said as he get up from the chair and raise his hands in the air and look up for a bit before refocusing on Hiccup.

'Oh, that's what he was talking about.' Hiccup thought.

He was party release but still worried a bit.

"Oh, I... brought you something. To keep you safe in the ring." Stoick said.

Stoick holds up a Viking helmet and gives it to Hiccup.

"Wow. Thanks." Hiccup said.

"Your mother would've wanted you to have it. It's half of her breast plate." Stoick said

"Matching set. Keeps her close, y'know?" Stoick said.

He pointed to his own helmet.

"Wear it proudly. You deserve it. You've held up your end of the deal." Stoick said.

The two didn't say anything to one other.

'Well, this isn't awkward at all.' Hiccup thought.

'Great the moment you were hoping for is here and you nothing to say.' Stoick thought.

They just stand in silence.

"I should really get to bed." Hiccup said.

"Yes! Good! Okay." Stoick said.

"See you back at the house." Hiccup said.

"We should do this again." Stoick said.

"Thanks for stopping by." Hiccup said

"Glad I stopped by, " Stoick said.

"And for the... the breast hat." Hiccup said as he held up the helmet.

"Well, uh... good night." Stoick said.

Stoick leaves the workshop.

'What am I going to do?' Hiccup thought.

'I might have to leave with Aurora and Stormfly, if I'm chosen to kill a dragon.' Hiccup thought.

The next day at the arena.

When Astrid was knocked down the dragoness redid the blonde's hair now the Shield Maiden in-trainer hair looked like a pair of devil horns, Snotlout tried to attack from behind only to get kicked up into the air while he was falling Stormfly moved a wall to where the boy would land between his legs.

'Why?' Snotlout questioned.

Stormfly then sends her tail spikes to nail the twins to a wall.

"This Dragon does not like them." Gobber said.

"I never seen a Nadder do any of these things before!" Stoick said shocked that one of the easiest dragons to killed making a laughing stock of four of their future Vikings.

'That should teach you not to mess with my dear Hiccup.' Stormfly thought.

Out of the corner of her she saw said Viking boy.

'As much as I like to show my affection to Hiccup I need to make this look good.' She thought.

She rushes at him without notice Astrid gets up.

'I can't believe that I'm being humiliated like this.' She thought.

Astrid then followed the dragon ready to deal damage to her.

Only for Stormfly to see her coming and knock her out.

'Stupid badge.' Stormfly thought

She then looked at Hiccup.

'I better make this look good.' she thought

She then roared.

Hiccup knew Stormfly was putting on a show.

'Let's make this look good.' He thought.

Stormfly tries hitting him with her horn and Hiccup lightly sidesteps it.

'Alright, here I go.' Hiccup thought.

Hiccup made it appear he was going to tackle her head.

She moves to the side.

Hiccup rolls on the ground.

'We need to finish this.' Hiccup said.

Hiccup charge at Stormfly.

'Here we go.' Stormfly thought.

Stormfly stays in place.

Hiccup slams into her knocking her over.

"THAT'S MY BOY!" Stoick shouted.

Stormfly moves around pretending to thrash around.

Hiccup then started to scratch Stormfly's chin.

'That feels good.' Stormfly thought.

Then she fell asleep that was the scene Astrid walked into.

'What is going on?' She thought.

"NO! NO! SON OF HALF-TROLL, RAT-EATING MUNGE BUCKET!" she shouted swinging your ax.

'Jeez, does she kiss her mother with that mouth?' Hiccup thought.

"Wait! Wait!" Stoick said as he stood up.

"So, later." Hiccup said.

"Not so fast!" Gobber Stop him from leaving.

'I need to leave.' Hiccup thought.

"I'm kinda late for-" Hiccup said as he tried to get out of there.

"What?! Late for what, exactly?!" Astrid questioned angrily.

She presses her ax in Hiccup's face.

'That badger better get that thing away from my Hiccup if she knows what's good for her.' Stormfly thought.

"Astrid unless you want me to tell Stoick that you had abandoned Hiccup during training you will back off, now!" Gobber said with a sharp edge in his voice.

Astrid reluctantly pulled her axe away.

"Okay, quiet down. The Elder has decided." Stoick said.

Then an elderly lady walked up. She has a short and scrawny figure and an obvious hunch. She has thick wavy gray hair held in two braids. She wears a leather vest with an old belt strapped around it and she also has padding over the wrist. She is often seen with a small, rather flat helmet and an old staff made of bones. She uses her staff mainly to execute healing practices such as hypnosis and defending herself. She also has a scar from a Snow Wraith's bite on her left arm and a few faint, blue tattoos of dragons on her shoulders.

Gobber pointed to Astrid, and The Elder shook her head, he then pointed to Hiccup with his hook and The Elder nodded and the village cheered.

"You've done it! You've done it, Hiccup! You get to kill the dragon!" Gobber said excitedly.

"Ha, ha! That's my boy!" Stoick said.

"Heh. Oh, yeah! Yes! I can't wait. I am so..." Hiccup said sarcastically.

At the cove.

"LEAVING! We're leaving. Let's pack up. Looks like you, me, and Stormfly when we break her out are taking a little vacation, forever. Ah, man... Aggh! What the- What are you doing here?" Hiccup said as he had a pack bag.

He sees Astrid sitting on a rock while sharpening her axe.

"I want to know what's going on. No one just gets as good as you do. Especially you. Start talking! Are you training with someone?" She said as she got off the rock and pressed her ax in Hiccup's face.

"Uh... training?" Hiccup said.

He tries to back away from the blonde.

"It better not involve this!" she said as she held up a fish.

"I know this looks really bad, but you see...this is, uh... You're right! You're right! You're right. I'm through with the lies. I've been making... outfits. So, you got me. It's time everyone knew. Drag me back. Go ahead. Here we go." Hiccup said.

Then Astrid heard something.

"What was that?" She questioned.

Astrid tossed Hiccups upon the ground.

"OW! Why would you DO that?!" Hiccup exclaimed.

"That's for the lies."Astrid said then she dropped her axe handle on his gut.

"And THAT'S for everything else." She said.

"Oh, man." Hiccup said

Suddenly the Light Fury jumped out of the bushes and growled at her.

"Get down!" Astrid said as she ducked down.

"RUN! RUN!" She told Hiccup as she got into a fighting position.

"NO! No. It's okay! It's okay... she's a friend. It's okay. You just scared Her." Hiccup said.

He stands between the two females.

"I scared her?! Who is "her"?" Astrid said while giving him a questioning look.

"Astrid, Aurora. Aurora, Astrid." Hiccup said.

Hiccup gestured to the human girl to the dragoness.

Astrid runs away, threatening to expose them.

"Da, da-da! We're dead!" Hiccup said.

Aurora leaves.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Where do you think you're going?!" Hiccup said as he went after the dragon.

Astrid's running through the forest, Aurora suddenly swoops down and picks her up

"AH! Oh, Great Odin's ghost! Oh, this is it!" she said

Aurora deposits her in a pine tree.

"Hiccup, get me down from here!" Astrid said

"You have to give me a chance to explain." Hiccup said.

"I am not listening to ANYTHING you have to say!" Astrid said

"Then I won't speak. Just let me show you." Hiccup said.

Aurora blasts off the tree, Astrid sliding off her back

"WHOA! AURORA! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! BAD DRAGON! She's not usually like this. Oh, Aurora, what are you doing?! We need her to like us. And now the spinning. Thank you for nothing, you useless reptile." Hiccup said.

The three were indeed spinning in the air.

"Okay! I am sorry! I'm sorry! Just get me off of this thing!" Astrid shouted.

Astrid was now behind Hiccup and Aurora stopped spinning while slowing down and gliding above the clouds slowly.

"Alright, I admit it. This is pretty cool. It's... amazing." Astrid said.

She looks at the view of her home from the back of the dragon.

"So what now? Hiccup, your final exam is tomorrow. You know you're going to have to kill." Astrid said.

"kill a dragon." She Whispered.

"Don't remind me." he said

Aurora suddenly dodges.

"Aurora, what's happening? Whoa, what is it?" Hiccup questioned.

They find themselves in the middle of a flock of dragons.

"Get down!" Hiccup said.

Hiccup and Astrid press themselves against Aurora.

"What's going on?" Astrid questioned.

"I don't know. Aurora. You've got to get us out of here, bud." Hiccup told the dragoness.

Aurora however just ignores him.

The two humans look at the dragons.

"It looks like they're hauling in their kill." Hiccup said.

"Uh, what does that make us?" Astrid asks as they can see they are coming up to an island.

Then the dragons and two humans fly into a Volcano.

"What my dad wouldn't give to find this." Hiccup said as he and Astrid were brought to the nest.

Swarms of dragons throw the food they had stolen into a lava below like offerings.

"It's satisfying to know that all of our food has been dumped down a hole." Hiccup said sarcastically.

"They're not eating any of it." Astrid said confused at the behavior of the creators they were fighting.

A Gronckle delivers only a single tiny fish. A roar is heard from below and the Gronckle squeals in terror.

"What... is that?" Astrid asks

A colossal dragon emerges from the lava pit and eats the Gronckle alive. All the other dragons cower in terror before the giant creature.

"Alright, buddy, we gotta get out of here. Now!" Hiccup said

Aurora escapes and all the dragons flee.

The Red Death lunges at Aurora but grabs a Zippleback instead.

Aurora and her riders fly off to a beach and land.

"It's make no sense." Hiccup said

" No, it totally makes sense. It's like a giant beehive. They're the workers, and that's their queen. It controls them. Let's find your Dad." Astrid said.

"No, no! Not yet. They'll... kill Aurora, Stormfly, and the other dragons. Astrid, we have to think this through carefully." Hiccup said knowing what his father would do.

"Who in Helheim is Stormfly!?" Astrid question

"The Nadder." Hiccup said.

"You've been training two dragons! one of which hates me!" Astrid said

"Technically I've only been training Aurora i met Stormfly when I was young." Hiccup said.

"After what she did to me and the others I find that hard to believe." Astrid said

"She's just protective." Hiccup said.

Astrid gives Hiccup I don't buy that look.

"Look just give me until tomorrow. I'll figure something out." Hiccup said.

"Okay." she said as she walked towards him

She then punches him in the arm.

"That's for kidnapping me." Astrid said

She then walks away.

The Arena the following day.

"Well, I can show my face in public again! If someone had told me that in just few short weeks, Hiccup would go from being, well... Hiccup, to placing first in Dragon Training... Well, I would've tied him to a mast and shipped him off for fear he'd gone mad. Yes! And you know it! But here we are. And no one's more surprised...or more proud than I am. Today, my boy becomes a Viking. TODAY, HE BECOMES ONE OF US!" Stoick said.

The people of Berk cheered.

We see Astrid with Hiccup.

"Be careful with that dragon." She said.

"It's not the dragon I'm worried about." he said as he glanced at Stoick.

"What are you gonna do?" Astrid questioned.

"Put an end to this." Hiccup said

She eyes him, dubious.

"I have to try. Astrid, if something goes wrong... just make sure they don't find Aurora." Hiccup said.

"I will. Just... promise me it won't go wrong." Astrid said.

"It's time, Hiccup. Knock him dead." Gobber said as he walked up to the two teens

"Show 'em how it's done, my man!" Tuffnut said.

Hiccup enters the Arena and picks a dagger from the weapons stand.

"Hrmph. I would've gone for the hammer." Stoick said.

"I'm ready." Hiccup said

They release the Monstrous Nightmare.

Hiccup approaches the Nightmare slowly he drops the dagger and shield, raising his hand like how he did to Aurora.

'I'm probably going to be disowned after this.' Hiccup thought.

The village watched in shock at the boy's actions.

"What is he doing?" Stoick questioned.

"It's okay. It's okay." Hiccup said he then threw his helmet onto the floor.

"I'm not one of them." he told the dragon.

"Stop the fight." Stoick said.

"No! I need you all to see this. They're not what we think they are. We don't have to kill them." Hiccup said trying to show them the truth about the dragons.

"I SAID STOP THE FIGHT" Stoick shouted.

He slams a hammer against the Arena railings, agitating the Nightmare.

"Dad stop he'll attack if he thinks you're a threat." Hiccup said.

"Out of my way!" Stoick ordered as he tried to enter the Arena.

Hiccup finally had enough of his father's stubbornness.

"WILL YOU LISTEN TO ME FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE!?" He screamed.

Meanwhile, at the cove, Aurora hears Hiccup's screams and races to the Arena and at the same Stormfly is trying to open her cage.

"YOU'RE ALWAYS LIKE THIS DAD ALWAYS CARING MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT ME TO BE AND NEVER WHO I AM ALL MY LIFE I'VE BEEN SHUNNED AND MADE FUN OF FOR NOT BEING LIKE EVERYONE ELSE AND YOU NEVER DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT YOU EVEN SAID JUST KNOW THAT YOU WERE ASHAMED TO SEEN IN PUBLIC BECAUSE OF ME YOU'VE SEEN ME AS NOTHING BUT AN EMBARRASSMENT AND NOW YOU THINK THAT I'M SOME TRAITOR BECAUSE I FOUND OUT THAT EVERYTHING WE KNEW ABOUT THE DRAGONS WAS WRONG HECK THEY'RE NOT EVEN WILLINGLY RAIDING OUR VILLAGE THEY'RE BEING CONTROLLED BY A DRAGON SO BIG THAT IF IT WANTED TO IT COULD DESTROY BERK JUST BY STANDING ON IT AND THE OTHER DRAGONS ARE FORCED TO GIVE IT FOOD OR BECOME FOOD THEMSELVES AND IT'S ONLY BECAUSE I BEFRIENDED THAT I WAS EVEN ABLE TO FIND THE NEST SOMETHING THAT YOU COULDN'T DO ALL I WANTED WAS FOR YOU TO BE PROUD OF ME BUT NO MATTER WHAT I DO YOU ALWAYS FIND FAULT JUST ONCE LISTEN TO ME AND I CAN SHOW ALL OF YOU THE TRUTH!?" Hiccup shouted.

Everyone stop at that

"What did useless just say!?" Snotlout said in his new voice.

Stormfly growls at him.

"OH SHUT UP SNOTLOUT I'M TIRED OF YOU BULLYING ME FOR SO LONG YOU THINK THAT ACTING THE WAY YOU DO IS ACTUALLY COOL BECAUSE IT ISN'T AND ASTRID WILL NEVER LIKE YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE A SELFISH, EGOTISTICAL MORON WHO NEEDS TO LEARN THAT THE WORLD DOESN'T REVOLVE AROUND THEM." Hiccup shouted.

"That's his whole family!" a random Viking said

"You were there?" Stoick said.

"YES! AND LIKE I SAID THE ONLY REASON THAT THE DRAGONS HAVE BEEN RAIDING BERK IS BECAUSE A GIANT DRAGON IS FORCING THEM TO IF THAT DRAGON WHICH I'VE DECIDED TO CALL THE RED DEATH BTW THEN THE RAIDS MIGHT STOP BUT I KNEW THAT YOU WOULD NEVER LISTEN BECAUSE YOU ONLY CARED ABOUT THE VIKING THAT YOU WANTED ME TO BE AND NOT THE VIKING THAT I AM YOU'RE SO ASHAMED OF HAVING ME FOR A SON THAT YOU NEVER DID ANYTHING TO STOP THE CONSTANT BULLYING AND BELITTLING THAT I HAD TO ENDURE FOR MY ENTIRE LIFE!" Hiccup shouted.

Before Stoick could say anything all the shouting frightened the Nightmare into attacking.

Suddenly Aurora and Stormfly jump in to protect Hiccup.

Then it hits Stoick all this time they had a way to find the nest they just never thought to use them other than for training.

"Capture the Light Fury!" He commanded.

'He didn't listen again.' Hiccup thought.

The Vikings rush to capture Aurora.

Stormfly was busy with the Nightmare.

"Will you stop you're not helping Hiccup!" She said.

"Why should I help that weak human of yours!" the Nightmare said

This angers Stormfly and Aurora who overheard what he said.

"In case you hadn't noticed we're surrounded by more humans that could kill us!" the Nightmare said

"And Hiccup is trying to stop them!" Stormfly said.

"That Light Furry would say otherwise." the Nightmare said

"Because she is currently trying to not be captured!" Stormfly said.

"That's my point we should try and fly away while we can." The Nightmare said

"First off they would shoot us down before we got far and second I am not leaving Hiccup. " Stormfly said.

"Good point on the first, on the second that's your problem, not mine." The nightmare said

"It will be if you keep making trouble for him." Stormfly said.

"You make me to be captured!?" The Nightmare said in shock.

"Only so he can help us!" Stormfly said.

Before either one of them could say anything the people of Berk toss nets on them.

"Darn it!" The Monstrous Nightmare said.

Stormfly didn't fight back.

"Why aren't you fighting back?" the Monstrous Nightmare questioned.

"Right now, with them this wind-up they might kill any dragon that put up too much of a fight." Stormfly answered

The Monstrous Nightmare growls but admits defeat.

"Load the Light Furry on to a ship while locking those other two up!" Stoick ordered

Aurora struggles to break free.

But she couldn't.

Later at the great hall.

Stoick pushes his son into the building.

"I should have known. I should have seen the signs." Stoick said.

"Or you talking about me training dragons? Or you finally noticing only dragons can find the nest!?" Hiccup said.

"We had a deal!" Stoick said.

"I know we did... But that was before... Ugh, it's all so messed up!" Hiccup said

"So everything in the ring... A trick?! A lie?" Stoick questioned.

"I screwed up. I should have told you before now. Take this out on me, be mad at me, but please... just don't hurt Aurora." Hiccup said

"The dragon? That's what you're worried about? Not the people you almost killed?!" Stoick shouted.

"She was just protecting me! He's not dangerous!" Hiccup said

"She was just protecting me! She's not dangerous!" Hiccup said.

"They've killed HUNDREDS OF US!" Stoick shouted.

"AND WE'VE KILLED THOUSANDS OF THEM!" Hiccup shouted back

"WE WERE DEFENDING OURSELVES!" Stoick shouted.

"SO WERE THEY! If they don't bring enough food that giant dragon will eat them!" Hiccup said.

"WHAT GIANT DRAGON!?" Stoick questioned.

"Me and Astrid were at the nest there's a dragon bigger than any we had seen before, it ate a Gronckle whole in one bite!" Hiccup answered.

This shocks Stoick.

"I don't know how it is or how old it but after your last search for it we might not have enough strength to do any damage to it." Hiccup said

Stoick looks down at this information.

"Stay here we'll continue this conversation later." Stoick said.

"Not if we train the dragons we captured!" Hiccup said

"Just stay here." Stoick said.

"Dad, what are you going to do?" Hiccup question

Stoick says nothing as he clothes the doors.

"READY THE SHIPS!" Stoick ordered

Stoick walks down the docks.

"Set sail! We head for Helheim's Gate!" Stoick said.

Before walking to the docks, Stoick staggers back, realizing the mistake he might be making.

He shakes his head before stepping onto the boat looks to Aurora.

"Lead us to the nest!" Stoick told her.

We cut back to Hiccup.

" It's a mess. You must feel horrible. You might lost everything. Your father, your tribe, your best friend..." Astrid said as she walk up to him.

"Thank you for summing that up. Why couldn't I have killed that dragon when I found her in the woods? It would have been better for everyone." Hiccup said.

"Yep. The rest of us would have done it. So why didn't you?... Why didn't you?" she questioned.

"I don't know. I couldn't." Hiccup said.

"That's not an answer." Astrid said

"Why is this so important to you all of a sudden?" Hiccup questioned.

"Because I want to remember what you say, right now." Astrid answered

"Oh, for the love of- I was a coward! I was weak! I wouldn't kill a dragon!" Hiccup shouted.

"You said "wouldn't" that time." Astrid said.

"Whatever! I wouldn't! Three hundred years, and I'm the first Viking who wouldn't kill a dragon!" Hiccup shouted.

"First to ride one, though. So...?" Astrid said.

"I wouldn't kill her because she looked as frightened as I was. I looked at her, and I saw myself." Hiccup said.

"I bet she's really frightened now. What are you going to do about it?" Astrid questioned

Hiccup gets up.

"Eh, probably something stupid." He said.

With the rest of the adults on the way to Dragon Island.

"Sound your positions. Stay within earshot." Stoick said.

"Here." A Viking said.

"One length to your stern." Another Viking said.

"On your starboard flank." another Viking said.

"Three widths to port." a fourth Viking said.

"Ahead, at your bow." a fifth Viking said

"Haven't a clue." A sixth Viking said.

At that, Stoick shakes his head, and Gobber walks up.

"Listen... Stoick... I was overhearing some of the men just now and, well, some of them are wondering what it is we're up to here- not me of course, I know you're always the man with the plan if Hiccup is right about the dragon then we can just attack wildly- but some, not me, are wondering if there is in fact a plan at all, what it might be?" hook Viking asks

"Find the nest and cave it." Stoick said

Ah. Of course. Buried them alive. One of the old Viking fallbacks. Nice and simple." Gobber said

'We're going to die.' The hook Viking thought

"Shhh." Stoick said.

They look towards Aurora as she turns her head.

"Step aside." Stoick said.

"Bear to port." a Viking said.

Back in the arena.

Hiccup was trying to open the cages.

"If you're planning on getting eaten, I'd definitely go with the Gronckle." Fishlegs's voice said.

Hiccup turn around to see the rest of the teens

"You were wise to seek help from the world's most deadly weapon. That's me." Tuffnut said.

"Uh..." Hiccup said both in confusion while moving away as the blonde teen was too close.

"I love this plan!" Snotlout said.

Like Tuffnut, Snotlout was too close.

"I didn't..." Hiccup said.

"You're crazy! I like that..." Ruffnut said as she got closer to Hiccup.

Astrid pushes them away from Hiccup.

"So? What is the plan?" She questioned.

He went back to the cages and open them.

Hiccup releases the Monstrous Nightmare.

With the adults on Dragon Island.

They walk up to the cave.

He pulls something out.

It's a crossbow.

"Stay low and ready your weapons. We're here." Stoick said.

Back at the arena.

Hiccup released the Monstrous Nightmare.

He gently guides it toward Snotlout, who is scared and grabs a broken off spear head.

"Wait! What are you-?!" Snotlout said.

"Relax. It's okay... it's okay." Hiccup said.

Hiccup places big mouth boy's hand on the Monstrous Nightmare's nose.

He then walked away.

"Where are you going?!" Snotlout questioned.

"You're going to need something to help you hold on," Hiccup said as he showed the teens the saddles he had made and opened the other cages.

The teens glance at the three other dragons, all out of their cages.

Meanwhile, back at the dragon's nest.

The Vikings are preparing for the fight of their lives, as Stoick goes over the battle plan with his generals

'Here we go.' Stoick thought.

"In my undies. Good thing I brought extras." Gobber said

"No matter how this ends, it ends today." Stoick said.

Stoick gives the signal and catapults break a hole into the side of the mountain, Stoick walks up to the mouth of the hole and gives another signal. This time, a flaming ball of straw gets catapulted into the hole, revealing thousands of dragons inside. Stoick gives a battle cry and charges in, but not a single dragon attacks, instead they all fly away. Not even attacking all the Vikings outside. Aurora looks on in dread, knowing very well what will happen next.

"NOW! BEFORE WHATEVER IS IN THERE COMES OUT BRING THE MOUNTAIN DOWN ON IT!" Stoick ordered.

With strikes from their catapults, the entire mountain comes crumbling down.

"Is it dead?" Gobber questioned.

Suddenly, the ground begins to shake.

"This isn't over. Form your ranks! Hold together!" Stoick ordered

A loud roar is heard and the mountain starts to crack.

"Get clear!" Stoick said.

The Vikings begin to run for their lives, as a giant dragon, about five times the size of the Vikings' ships, break out of the mountain.

"Beard of Thor... is that what Hiccup was talking about!?" Stoick said.

The Red Death, a king of dragons. Bursts out of the nest. As Stoick (for the first time in his life) looks on with absolute terror.

'We should have listened to Hiccup!' were the shared thoughts of the Berk Vikings.

"Odin, help us." Stoick said.

The Red Death roars furiously.

"Catapults!" Stoick said.

The Vikings fire their catapults, but the rocks bounce off the Red Death's skin like they were nothing. He then crushes the catapults as if they were made of matchsticks.

"Get to the ships!" A Viking said.

"No! NO!" Stoick said.

But it's too late.

The Red Death realizes where they're going and breaths out the largest fire blast the Vikings have ever seen. Destroying all the ships in one fell swoop and trapping them all on the island in the process.

We cut to Aurora, who's still stuck on the now burning and sinking ship

"And it's a smart one too, if we live through this Hiccup won't let us live this one down." Gobber said to no one.

"I was a fool." Stoick said.

Stoick turns to Spitelout.

"Lead the men to the far side of the island." He commanded.

"Gobber, go with the men." Stoick said as he got up.

"I think I'll stay, just in case you're thinking of doing something crazy." Gobber said.

"I can buy them a few minutes if I give that thing someone to hunt." Stoick said as he grabbed a sword.

"Then I can double that time." Gobber said.

Stoick nodded his head.

"HERE!" Stoick shouted trying to get the dragon's attention.

"Oh, no, HERE!" Gobber said.

"Come on! Bite me!" Gobber said while lightly jumping.

"No, me!" Stoick said.

Then they heard wings flapping.

They turn to see a group of dragons flying in and what shocked them was that Hiccup and his friends were on the backs of the dragons.

"Ruff, Tuff, watch your backs!" Hiccup said.

'Why did I have to be paired with her!?' Astrid and Stormfly thought.

"LOOK AT US! WE'RE ON A DRAGON! WE'RE ON DRAGONS! ALL OF US!" Tuffnut shouted.

"Up, let's move it!" Hiccup said.

"Every bit the boar-headed, stubborn Viking you ever were!" Gobber as he and Stoick watch.

"Fishlegs, break it down!" Hiccup said.

"Okay! Heavily armored skull and tail made for bashing and crushing! Steer clear of both! Small eyes, large nostrils! Relies on hearing and smell!" the bigger boy said as he scanned the Red Death.

"Okay! Lout, Legs, hang in its blind spot! Make some noise, keep it confused! Ruff, Tuff, find out if it has a shot limit! Make it mad!" Hiccup said.

"That's my specialty!" Ruffnut said

"Since when?! Everyone knows I'm more irritating!" Tuffnut said.

The twins started another one of their fights.

"Just do what I told you! I'll be back as soon as I can!" Hiccup said.

"Don't worry, we got it covered!" Snotlout said as he flew closer to the dragon.

"Yeah!" Fishlegs said.

He follows the other boy.

'I'm coming Aurora.' Hiccup thought.

He was scanning the area.

"There!" Hiccup said.

He pointed to the ship that Aurora was still on.

They land and Hiccup gets off.

"Go help the others!" He said.

Stormfly took off before Astrid could say anything.

Hiccup Runs onto the boat.

"Okay, hold on. Hold on." He said.

Back with the others

"It's working!" Snotlout said.

The sound were affect the dragons they were ridding.

"Yeah! It's working!" Fishlegs said.

The dragons are starting to lose control.

"Agghh!" Snotlout screamed as he lost control of the Monstrous Nightmare.

"I've lost power on the Gronckle! SNOTLOUT! DO SOMETHING!" Fishlegs said as the dragon crashed into the sand with its tail end up.

"I'm okay!" the bigger boy said in the sand.

Then Gronckle's tail came down on him.

"Less okay...!" he added.

Snotloud starts to hit one of the Red Death's eyes with Fishlegs' hammer.

"I can't miss! What's wrong buddy? Got something in your eye?" He said.

"Yeah! You're the Viking!" Astrid said while flying around the Red Death Stormfly rolled her eyes.

Unfortunately his celebration was short-lived as the Red Death swatted at them.

"Whoa!" Snotlout said.

It's tail hits the ships.

Hiccup attempts to undo Aurora's restraints as the boat almost drowned if a hand hadn't grabbed him and pulled him out of the water.

Stoick lifts his son out of the water.

"Dad?" Hiccup Questioned.

Stoick dives into the water.

Aurora looks to see Stoick approaching before removing her restraints.

Once freed the Light Furry went to the Viking boy.

"You got it, bud." Hiccup said before getting on her back.

"Hiccup. I'm sorry... for- for everything." Stoick said

"Yeah, me too." Hiccup said.

"You don't have to go up there." SToick said reaching out his hand.

"We're Vikings. It's an occupational hazard." Hiccup said.

Hiccup and Aurora fly to join the battle.

"He's up! Get Snotlout out of there!" Astrid said.

"I'm proud to call you, my son." Stoick said

"Thanks, Dad." Hiccup said as he and Aurora fly to join the battle.

"He's up! Get Snotlout out of there!" Astrid said.

He jumps off the titanic dragon's head.

The hideous Zippleback manages to catch him.

'I have new respect for Gobber.' Snoutlout thought while looking at his wooden leg.

"I can't believe that worked!" Tuffnut said.

The Red Death started to inhale the force were drawing Stormfly.

Aurora flew at increased speeds.

"Light Furry Get down!" Gobber said as he ducks down.

Just before The Red Death could devour Astrid and Stormfly Hiccup and Aurora managed to save them.

Aurora use her plasma blast to hit the side of the Red Death.

"Did you get them?" Hiccup questioned.

They look to the right to see both girls are okay.

They dropped Astrid and Stormfly off to the ground before flying back towards the Red Death.

Then the Red Death opens its wings.

"That thing has wings!" Hiccup said.

All six of the Red Death's eyes were set on Hiccup and Aurora.

"Okay, let's see if it can use them!" Hiccup said.

The pair fly out towards the sea.

The Red Death follows them.

Hiccup fly around sea stacks.

"Do you think that did it?" Hiccup questioned.

He looked back and saw the Red Death knocking the sea stacks.

"Okay, Aurora, time to disappear! Come on, bud!" Hiccup said.

Aurora went into the clouds.

The Red Death followed.

It's looking around for the two.

"Here it comes!" Hiccup said.

They try to stay out of it's sight.

"Come on Hiccup think of a plan to defeat this thing.' Hiccup thought.

Then he remembered the Terrors on the sea stacks by Berk.

"I have an idea." Hiccup said.

The Red Death uses its flame upon the clouds.

"Watch out! Okay, time's up! Let's see if this works." Hiccup said.

They went higher.

The Red Death attempts to shoot them down but misses.

"COME ON! IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO?!" Hiccup shouted.

Those words angered the Red Death it followed the two.

It fires some more shots and one hits Aurora's prosthetic fin.

"Stay with me, buddy. We're good. Just a little bit longer." Hiccup said

They begin to dive as the Red Death followed and prepared to fire another shot.

"Hold, Aurora... NOW!" Hiccup as the Light Furry turns around to face the Red Death.

She then fired a plasma shot directly into the Red Death's mouth.

Which causes a chain reaction within the Red Death's body.

However they start falling.

"No! NO!" Hiccup said as Aurora's prosthetic fin was gone.

Suddenly Hiccup is launched from Aurora's back.

The Red Death came crashing down onto the ground in explosion.

'Hiccup!.' Aurora thought.

The Viking watch it happen

Afterwards the Vikings walk up to Aurora.

Stoick went to the dragoness.

"Hiccup! Hiccup! Son!" Stoick called out.

He went down on his knees in front of the white dragon.

"Hiccup." Stoick said.

Aurora Open her blue eyes

"Oh, son... I did this..." Stoick said.

Aurora watch Stoick.

"I'm so...I'm so sorry..." Stoick said.

Aurora open her wings to show she grabs Hiccup.

"Hiccup!" Stoick said.

The man take his son from the dragon.

Stoick places his ear to Hiccup's chest and to his relief he hears a heartbeat.

"Oh, he's alive! You brought him back alive!" Stoick said.

Gobber went over to Stoick and look over his best friend's son.

"Thank you... for saving my son." Stoick said.

The leader of Berk look at the dragon.

"Well, you know... most of him." Gobber said.

Some time later, Hiccup lies in his bed asleep.

'Ugh, it feels like I got run over by a bunch of Gronkles.' He thought.

Aurora eagerly nudges him awake.

"Oh, hey, Aurora. I'm happy to see you too, buddy." Hiccup said.

The dragoness steps on his stomach.

"OW! What- Uh, I'm in my house. You're in my house! Uh... does my dad know you're in here?!" Hiccup questioned in a panic.

The Light Furry went to the door.

"Okay, okay- no, Aurora! Aw, come on..." Hiccup said.

Suddenly, something is wrong. Hiccup lifts his blanket, and all at once, it petrifies him and overwhelms him, all at the same time. Aurora jumps down to the floor. Hiccup hesitates on this. On the bare wooden floor, Hiccup's wooly boot touches the floor, followed by a mechanical replacement, fashioned out of wood and metal. Toothless smells the prosthetic and looks at Hiccup. He takes a deep breath and tries to walk with the prosthetic. It hurts. He falls but Aurora catches him.

"Okay... okay... Thanks, bud." Hiccup said.

The two make their way to the door.

"Aurora, stay here." Hiccup said.

He open the door and saw a Monstrous Nightmare face on the other side.

"Whoa!" He said in alarm.

Hiccup quickly close the door.

"That was surprising." He said.

He reopens the door.

"Come on, guys, get ready! Hold on tight! Here we go!" Snotlout said.

"I knew it. I'm dead." Hiccup said.

"No, but you gave it your best shot. So? What do you think?" Stoick questioned.

"Hey, look! It's Hiccup!" a Viking said

"Hiccup, how you doin' mate?" Another Viking questioned.

"It's great to see you up and about." another Viking said nearly all of Berk was in front of his house now.

"Turns out all we needed was a little more of... this." Stoick said while gesturing to Hiccup's form.

"You just gestured to all of me." Hiccup said

"Well, most of you." Gobber said.

Hiccup looks down at his new prosthetic leg.

"That bit's my handiwork. With a little "Hiccup Flair" thrown in. You think it'll do?" Gobber questioned.

"Yeah, speaking of which when will you make my leg like that!?" Snotlout said while pointing to his wooden leg.

'Never.' Gobber thought.

"Snotlout with how much you workout a metal leg won't be a good fit for you." Hiccup said.

"Yeah I do work out a lot." Snotlout said.

"Hiccup is right you won't believe the oil I have to use for my changeable hand attachment." Gobber added.

Stormfly walks up to Hiccup and nuzzles him.

"Hey, Stormfly sorry if I had scared you." Hiccup said

Stormfly just nuzzles him some more.

"I still you kept her alive all this time." Hiccup said to his father.

"She was helpful in training." Stoick said.

"Speak for yourself!" the rest of the teens said

"Light Fury! Get down!" A Viking said.

Aurora nuzzles Hiccup.

She has a new tail in her mouth.

"You ready?" Hiccup said.

He moves to her tail.

'She has a new Tail fin.' Hiccup thought.

He attaches the tail fin.

He then gets on her back.

"You ready?" Hiccup questioned.

Aurora nods before taking to the air.

"This... is Berk. It snows nine months of the year, and hails the other three. Any food that grows here is tough and tasteless. The people that grow here are even more so. The only upsides are the pets. While other places have...ponies or parrots, we have... dragons!" Hiccup narrated.
