Here it is, the seventy-sixth full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released early as a surprise because I am ahead of schedule for once. After the events of the last chapter there is only one more thing left for this arc, the dramatic conclusion to the Shie Hassaikai raid so there isn't anything more to say here. That is all the administrative stuff I have for now though and as there are no review questions to answer or guest reviews to respond to I will end this note here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all. Now, though, it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 76th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.
Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.
Chapter 76: Aiding in the Boss Battle
Adrien and Marinette hated leaving Mage where he was, but they knew that the mission came first and, well, he was immortal so he'd be fine anyway. That was what allowed them to focus on the mission and plow onwards. As they did, Marinette activated her Quirk with her goal of getting them to the battle as fast as possible but without having to waste Adrien's Quirk.
Her mind was already set on going with a mech suit so one formed around her as they ran and approached the first of the barriers that Chisaki had erected to slow them that Lemillion had slipped through though why it was even still here and not rubble surprised them. That would have to be answered another time however as the mission did come first and Marinette needed to get quickly familiar with the latest style of mech Lucky Charm had given her.
This suit was a little different to the last one and nothing like her One-Woman Army suit, but it was just what she needed for the task at hand. The suit was small, covered her body entirely with a full helmet rig that was even connected to her food pouch with a vacuum tube for if she needed a boost of energy, so it would easily protect her from most enemies. That was just the appearance, the main things about it were what it provided her for her goal.
Those things were a blaster canon gauntlet over her right hand and arm and a full heads-up display on the interior of her helmet showing dots that must be the heat signatures of the other people present in the underground compound with red for unknown and blue for friendlies. The suit also had thrusters in the legs to let her fly if need be but right now she didn't as she raised her blaster and shot it at the barrier, blowing it apart so that her and Adrien didn't have to slow down or use Cataclysm as Marinette took the lead with her suit.
"We've got to keep moving forward." Marinette said her voice transmitted via her communicator to the one Adrien had in his ear from his mask as she looked over the display and saw that there were 3 blue and 2 red ahead of them that seemed to be actively fighting with an unmoving a red dot in their path that they'd likely have to deal with as they ran. "That has to be where the main battle is. Lemillion ran on ahead and likely ended up facing them there."
"What about the others?" Adrien asked. "Where are they?"
"One sec." Marinette said as she blew up the next obstacle and they continued on. "This display is a bit confusing, and I can't confirm who is who just who is friendly and who is unknown. At least I'm presuming that that's what the display means."
As if it understood, which given Lucky Charm it probably did, the display shifted to show a 3D model of the area and added a key to confirm that blue meant friendly and red someone Marinette had never seen before. That really helped as Marinette was able to confirm that they'd just ran past a few fights that had occurred while they were gone as behind and below them was a room with unmoving 3 red dots and one blue that seemed to be moving slowly while they were about to run past another, even deeper, room off to their right with two red and two blue dots in a side room that weren't moving.
Further ahead of them and a level below there was a mass of blue dots either in one location around a single red dot or fanning out over the underground area likely looking for something or someone. That couldn't be it all, though Marinette admitted she didn't know how many had been with them when they'd made it to the underground compound, and she kept scanning while also looking at the dots ahead of them and destroying any barriers they came up on with Adrien behind her. Only her years of training allowed her to maintain so many split focuses as they ran.
It took a moment, but she found two more dots, a red one that was almost fully on top of a blue one, near the main area but just before and below it. As she found that, and relayed the information to Adrien, she saw that two of the blue dots, one moving really slowly, began to leave the main room with a red dot between them while the remaining blue and red dots seemed to duke it out.
Instantly Marinette knew that the red dot leaving the room was Eri and as soon as she thought that the dot turned green to show their rescue target. The two blue escorting her had to be Lemillion and Deku which meant that either Eraser Head or Nighteye were the blue dot that had to be fighting Chisaki. That was good but things suddenly took a turn as one of the blue dots with Eri, the one that wasn't moving slowly, stopped and headed back into the fight while the other continued to escort Eri away.
All this wasn't good, and Marinette and Adrien picked up the pace heading forward, destroying a few more walls in the process while Marinette kept an eye on the fight and gave updates as best she could see. It seemed that the first blue dot she'd notice fighting had stopped and now the other one was fighting Chisaki, but it didn't appear to be going well. It was as they came to a downed man in the hallway and saw broken rubble ahead that Marinette swore at a sudden change on her display.
"What?" Adrien said as they ran past a yakuza thug with long hair and wearing a skull mask lying unconscious on the floor that Marinette quickly used a capture goo thing on, her gauntlet briefly changing its purpose with her momentary goal change, just to ensure that that thug was captured. "What happened?"
"Eri's going back to the main room." Marinette said confused as the green dot reentered the room and stood just inside it while the two blue and red dot didn't move, the other blue that had been with Eri was now stopped though the blue from the room of 3 unmoving red dots earlier appeared to be now approaching it. "Something is going on and we need to get there now."
"Right." Adrien said as they saw a hole in the wall ahead of them, a wall that was clearly made by Chisaki's Quirk. "Blast us through. We can fit but best to ensure we can get through."
"With pleasure." Marinette said as she fired at shot just above the hole to enlarge it and the pair burst into the room right behind the explosion from Marinette's shot just as the ceiling also exploded in and chaos took over.
All anyone had was seconds to assess the situation and as Izuku Midoriya was the one in the best position to do so he did that looking at both explosions in shock as he'd not been expecting any and suddenly two occurred at almost the exact same time. One moment he'd been injured, Nighteye was already badly hurt and out of the fight with what might be mortal wounds, Lemillion had lost his Quirk thanks to a completed Quirk destroying bullet and had been skewered a few times but had managed to get Eri away. The next Eri was back begging Chisaki to not hurt them, and the world exploded.
From above came Ryukyu in her full dragon form, jaws on Katsukame's left arm and her body driving his now even larger one down in a shower of debris. Just above and behind them was Uravity and Froppy floating in the air, Uravity's fingers ready to released them, she'd clearly already done so with her boss and the villain while Froppy still had her tongue out and around Katsukame's neck showing how things had roughly gone on the street above them.
At the same time as the ceiling had exploded in, the hole Izuku had used to enter was blasted wider from the corridor outside and he glanced over to see a mech in a ladybug print barrel out of the debris cloud to skid over the floor and turn with a gauntlet clad arm raised followed by a blond boy clad all in black with ominous red stains on his outfit and a mask over his mouth and nose. It was Ladybug and Cat Noir. Somehow they'd escaped from wherever Irinaka had sent them, likely after dealing with whatever had been waiting for them there, and come to join the fight, but their boss wasn't with them.
"You all came." Izuku said looking around as Katsukame was slammed into the ground and the French pair slowed to turn and survey the scene before them.
"Deku." Ochaco said glad to see him there in the center of everything before it hit her. "Wait…"
"If you're here then who's the Deku we just saw?" Tsu asked confused as they gracefully fell down to the ground. "You can't have made it down here so quickly or gotten hurt before we followed you."
"Toga, the League is here." Izuku said as a yell was heard from above. "Her Quirk lets her transform into people."
They all turned to see a man dressed in a fancy red shirt, black waistcoat, pants, boots, a top hat and a white mask with black lines on it. It was the villain known as Mr. Compress, one of the known senior members of the League of Villains, though he was missing his left arm for some reason, and he was sliding down yelling thus drawing attention to himself.
"Uravity, look." Tsu said as they landed, Ryukyu was already tracking the League of Villains member ready to pounce as soon as she ensured that Katsukame was out cold, as she saw Nighteye.
"Nighteye!" Ochaco yelled fear and horror in her voice and that was what got Marinette and Adrien to notice him.
A few feet behind where Deku was standing was a tall man with green hair streaked with yellow and wearing a light gray suit that was torn in the center revealing an impressively ripped chest. That was what they expected from Nighteye but what horrified them was that he was lying on his side with a spike that had been impaled through his back and out his gut and missing his left arm midway between the elbow and shoulder. It was a horrific sight, worst than what the French pair had just seen and instantly they knew what they had to do.
"Take care of him, I've got Eri." Izuku said the first to break from the brief shock everyone was in from the sudden arrivals and running as fast as he could, which wasn't that fast as he'd just taken some concrete spikes to his left leg and right arm so was leaving drops of blood as he ran. "Go on."
"Cat Noir, in position." Marinette yelled as they, along with Ryukyu, Uravity, and Froppy, headed over to Nighteye though as she moved Marinette activated the thrusters in her suit to allow herself to fly. "Back Deku up by inhibiting how Chisaki can use his Quirk. I'll protect you."
"On it." Adrien said as he scampered forward to take a position in front of Nighteye and the girls who'd just reached him, Ryukyu was still tracking Mr. Compress as he was also making a move for Eri just as Midoriya was, and fell to his hands and knees looking at Deku. "I'll control it to keep you steady but don't touch anything that has my power on it as I am going to just focus on a few boundaries for it and clothes aren't a priority."
As Adrien spoke the concrete erupted under Eri's feet sending her flying high into the air like a rag doll, at least Adrien and Marinette assumed that the barefoot, silver haired girl in a light brown rag with bandages on her arms and legs and a horn on the right side of her forehead who couldn't be older than 5 or 6 was Eri. At the same time Mr. Compress leapt back to avoid another spike and Ryukyu took off to grab him with one of her claws and bring him over to their group and use her body to protect Nighteye, slamming him down hard to capture him.
"Chisaki!" Deku yelled as another pillar of earth shot up from under a man who looked like Chisaki but now had 4 mutated, ugly looking, arms and was covered in black crack things but given that the palms of the hands were on the ground and that he was wearing an ornate plague doctor's mask it was clearly him.
"Focus on Eri, Deku." Adrien yelled as Chisaki ranted at them about being diseased for some reason from his still moving pillar that was on a crash course for Eri's body. "I'll deal with the concrete so that he can't reassemble it."
Izuku heard his friend and knew that he had it, after Hosu Izuku knew to trust Agreste when he gave a command or declared what he was going to do so the French boy had it covered. Izuku's goal was Eri, and he was going to save her no matter what. She was coming with them for good this time even if he had to die trying because if he couldn't save one poor, abused, little girl then he had no right to call himself a hero. With that thought he leapt off the ground with 20% of his power and shot up at the pillar to rescue Eri.
Adrien just grinned under his mask as he used his tongue to flick a special switch inside his mask to speed up his protein paste recharging as he was going to need it very soon. Then, knowing that the girls and Ryukyu had Nighteye safe behind him and hearing Marinette's thrusters above him thus covering him from attack, Adrien let out a roar and his hands, knees and lowers legs blazed with Cataclysm.
The black energy that Adrien created was instantly transferred into the concrete and shot out in all directions. However, as soon as it was out, Adrien didn't deactivate it or move his body like he usually did but kept it going in his hands and legs as he focused on the power, bending it to his will and making it do what he wanted it to do.
This had been the biggest challenge for him and what he'd mainly focused on between the meeting to plan the rescue and the rescue itself because he was the one who needed to control Cataclysm rather than let it run rampant if they were to have a chance at winning. At least if they were to have a chance without Erasure active and given that Eraser Head wasn't around something had to have happened to his teacher so now it was up to Adrien to be the one to hold Chisaki's Quirk in check.
This level of control over Cataclysm was also what was needed to make it destroy whole items and not just the thing he touched and no other materials. It had been hard, and he'd taken a lot of time, and destroyed a lot of cement, before he finally understood what he had to do.
Mage had said that their only hard limit was their imagination and after several failed attempts Adrien finally understood that that was what was limiting. He wasn't seeing Cataclysm for what it truly was but for what he'd perceived it to be and that had been what was holding him back from achieving the level of control he needed for this mission and to become an even stronger hero going forward.
Adrien had always seen Cataclysm as no more than a tool; it was his Miraculous power and as such it was just borrowed from Plagg. Even after it became his Quirk after the whole incident and Mage's gift, Adrien just saw it as a power, one that he could call upon and improve in terms of time limit and how he deployed it in more than just his right hand, but he'd never seen it as more, he'd never truly embraced it as his own power and not Plagg's.
However, that exactly what it was now. Cataclysm was no longer just Plagg's power, the power he lent Adrien when he powered up Adrien and turned him into Cat Noir in the old days. No, now it was way more.
Cataclysm was Adrien's now; it was his Quirk that was encoded into his DNA and might one day be passed onto his children which meant that it was his ability to do with as he pleased. Quirks were physical attributes after all, they were part of a person as much as their hearts and minds were. That was the key that Adrien had been missing in his training and one that only through trial and error, and understanding the very nature of it, could he come to.
As such Cataclysm was as much a part of him as his very soul was, it was an extension of him and therefore he was the one in control of it now. It was no longer some wild force of pure destruction, it was an extension of his own being, his own will, his own energy that manifested in the black power of destruction. If Adrien imagined Cataclysm like that then he could bend and manipulate it to his will, make it do as he pleased as it destroyed all that it touched.
Adrien knew that Marinette saw Lucky Charm in a similar way now. She was the only one he'd spoken to about his revelation, and she admitted that that was in some way how she saw Lucky Charm with her mech item and how she could change the item as her goals changed within her time limit.
Marinette of course still had to remember the core of Lucky Charm and the purpose of her item just as Adrien had to remember the core of Cataclysm for that was what made their powers so strong. Now that he understood what Mage meant by his imagination being his limit, he could do it, he was the master of his power, he was the black cat of destruction and now, when they needed him the most, Adrien Agreste was going to show them just how good he was. It was time for his latest ultimate move, Area of Destruction.
As Cataclysm flared out around him he focused on the black energy with all his will, his eyes on Deku as he shot upwards to rescue Eri from Chisaki atop the pillar, and ensured that he played his own part in her rescue. The girls behind him gasped as the black energy shooting towards them suddenly branched to the sides like a wave being broken and encircled them with enough space for them to move on the stable ground, protect Nighteye and even have room for Ryukyu to stand in all her transformed glory.
The energy didn't stop there though, it shot all over the ground in a series black tendrils that cracked and destroyed all that it touched, the destruction expanding from the cracks while they deepened into the ground at the same time, until it reached the high walls that Chisaki had made to seal them into the room. That was when the next surprise to those watching came.
Rather than touch the walls, the black lines of Cataclysm stopped inches from the base and then formed straight lines and carving around the walls to show where the barrier was until the whole area had deep but narrow grooves around it. At the same time, the energy also encircled the pillar that was still rising but didn't touch it yet as Eri was still on it so he couldn't damage the pillar.
Even Marinette, who had a better view as she was now using her thrusters to hover above Adrien, stared in shock at what he was doing. All over the room that Chisaki had been corned in and was now fighting, the floor was spiderwebbed with cracks that glowed black but only within the areas cordoned off by deep, even darker, grooves around the walls, pillars, and island the girls were on.
Anything that had been on the surface of the ground and that wasn't organic so the debris from the fall, the spikes created by Chisaki in his fights with Lemillion, Nighteye, and Deku, and now the clothes of Katsukame were a fine black dust. The last part seemed a bit much, but Adrien was focused on ensuring their allies were stable and that the pillar wasn't affected yet, so he didn't have the time to bother with ensuring Katsukame remained modest.
As Marinette watched, the upper level between the cracks crumbled down sinking the ground lower Adrien's power reduced it to dust. The depth of his Cataclysm wasn't much, he was spreading it out so much that he could only penetrate about a foot or so but within that foot everything was destroyed on a molecular scale. The dust, the final ending of the power, happened when there was nothing left and as the upper level crumbled the floor lowered as more of Cataclysm ate down but the pillar, walls, and the area where the girls, Ryukyu, and Nighteye were remained untouched and stable.
The sign that a shift down was about to happen was when Adrien's hands and legs sank into the ground as the area around him was the weakest, but he clearly didn't care as he was focused on the pillar which was where they all should be looking. As unbelievably impressive as Adrien's power now was, they all knew that they had to focus on the mission and Eri and that was about to change drastically.
That was because Eri was on top of the pillar that the monstrosity that Chisaki had turned himself into by fusing his body with one of his subordinate's had created, but she was looking down at Deku as he neared her while the pillar continued to climb as Adrien didn't want to endanger Eri by breaking up the base of the pillar. The little girl was holding a tattered red cape that had to be Lemillion's, and as he wasn't here he was the one who'd tried to get her away but slowly due to injuries, and looking at Deku.
Eri was conflicted. She'd been told for as long as she could remember that she was a cursed child who destroyed all that she touched and that no one would ever love her. Yet she'd felt that kind of support and desire to help her when she'd run into Deku during her escape as he held her like she always imagined a protective big brother would hold her. Just being in his arms had comforted her and she hadn't wanted to let go of him then. Alas Overhaul had arrived and to save the heroes from his power she'd returned with him.
That was why she'd returned now when he'd used some power on her again to ask her forcefully if she wanted them to be harmed. She didn't want that, she didn't want these people to risk their lives, to even die, for her but here they were. Despite everything, despite the other boy who'd tried to save her sacrificing his Quirk to protect her it seemed and both he, Deku, and the other man who was with them getting badly injured as they tried to save her. They didn't care about their own lives, they only cared about her, about rescuing her from Overhaul and taking her safely away from him.
Eri tightened her grip on the cape the bigger boy had used to comfort her when he'd been the first to engage Overhaul to rescue her. He was like Deku; he was a kind and carrying boy who wanted to save her like a big brother would and he'd tired but she'd come back to save him. However, despite all this, Deku was still fighting to save her regardless of what happened to him as he smiled at her from below as he closed in on her, his hand outstretched and in that moment Eri knew what she had to do.
She had to let them save her. That was what they were here for, they were heroes, her heroes, and they wouldn't stop until she was safe and where Overhaul could no longer hurt her. That filled her heart with the courage and hope she needed and with a literal leap of faith she leapt off the pillar, still holding the red cape, and at Deku as he neared her.
Eri had only been able to do this because her power, which she still didn't know how to control or what it even was, activated from her horn as Overhaul touched her when she landed on the pillar he'd made. Her Quirk, Rewind as Overhaul had dubbed it, rewound him back to normal, blasting Nemoto out of him whole and alive but unconscious in the process as the fusion was rewound back to when it hadn't happened. That had stunned Overhaul enough for Eri to grab the cloak, approach the edge, come to her conclusion and leap off it.
Adrien smiled under his mask, a 5th round of protein having just been injected into his mouth to keep him going, as he watched the scene unfold above him for the right moment to lend Deku his aid. He wasn't sure what Eri could do, she had some power that affected living things in some healing like manner he deduced as it activated and a black robed man in a black plague mask and hat was seemingly ejected from Chisaki's body showing that the yakuza boss had likely used his Quirk to fuse the other man's body to him in some way, and the villain returned to normal as Eri passed him.
He continued to watch as he saw the resolve harden in Eri's frightened red eyes and she leapt off the pillar, arms above her head and the red cape she was holding billowing in the air. Deku himself hadn't been idle and he'd been using the falling debris from the pillar and the remaining unstable parts dislodging from the ceiling to close in on Eri, ignoring the man who fell past him, and reaching out for Eri ready to grab her as she leapt.
The man who fell, one of the elite Eight Bullets of the Hassaikai, was out cold and hit the ground hard. With the lack of stability that Adrien had caused he destroyed the upper layer around his body to dust and lay on his back imbedded into the ground. His cloths, gun, and anything else inorganic disintegrated as Cataclysm swarmed over him but otherwise he was just there, out cold and out of the fight.
Meanwhile Adrien pushed passed his limits even more than he already had as he ended the mental barrier he had on the lines of Cataclysm that were around the pillar allowing his power to tear into and up it, cracks on it as it began to destabilize. Adrien had been waiting for the moment that Eri was off it to do this and knew that Deku would be able to catch her and protect her from any airborne debris that Cataclysm wouldn't be able to destroy.
Adrien's job was to take out the pillar as Cataclysm swarmed up it and reach Chisaki who'd turned around and roared as Deku caught Eri in his arms and held her tight. The impact of her little body with his and ended his ascent and now Deku was falling back. Now it all came down to timing.
As Cataclysm neared the top of the pillar, Chisaki placed his hand on the edge and reshaped the matter in it to send twisting spikes of concrete at Deku, the edge destroying and tipping him into the air in the process. He was so furious at what was going on that he didn't realize how little he'd been able to change or how the pillar crumbled from below as he fell off it and lunged down to Deku.
He had managed to send some spikes at the annoying hero and Deku was struggling to dodge them in the air. It didn't help that he had Eri and with the density of the spikes and closeness Marinette couldn't fire at them lest the explosions affect Deku and Eri, so she instead shifted to aim at Chisaki and set her goal as a weapon to immobilize him while keeping his hands free but unable to touch solid matter.
The weapon gauntlet on Marinette's right arm began to sparkle and change and she knew that it was going to be what she wanted it and raised her arm up to lock in on Chisaki knowing that with her goal she wouldn't miss unless something out of her control happened. As all this was happening, Cataclysm had reached the top and destroyed the rest of the pillar and was now racing along the spikes that had been shot at Deku and destroying them in the most effective manner.
With a thought, Marinette fired her shot at the exact moment that Deku fully activated his Quirk and kicked off the air to blast himself and Eri out of the underground compound and into the sky outside to get her away from Chisaki and finally protect her properly. What happened next was, well, a taste of the power Izuku Midoriya wielded and would one day properly show the world.
The force of the kick sent a vortex of air all over the room in a whirlwind that could rival any typhoon. Izuku and Eri were blasted so high and fast that it looked like they'd teleported away and out of the room through the hole Ryukyu had made with Katsukame, so they didn't see what happened to him and Eri.
They had to focus on what was happening in the room because remaining spikes that hadn't had Cataclysm reach them were shattered, everything that had been destabilized by Cataclysm was reduced to dust by the force of the winds swirling around them leaving the floor briefly clear and showing that it had sunk by about 4 feet. Then there was the effect on the people still present and who were unable to protect themselves or others.
The force of the blast had righted and then arched back Chisaki so that he fell hard to the ground, shattering his right arm and landing near Katsukame. Nemoto was ok, just forced further down into the ground, as was Adrien who kept Cataclysm up for a few more seconds but the winds broke his concentration and as he was out of protein now he was well passed his limit, so his power ended there and then.
Meanwhile, Marinette had been through off, flipping and using her stabilizers to right herself while her shot went wide thanks to the air pressure causing the capture goo she'd shot at Chisaki to harmlessly hit a wall. Lastly, Ryukyu used her wings to shield the girls and Nighteye, inadvertently squishing Mr. Compress to brown sludge showing that he was just a copy, while the mortally wounded Nighteye looked up at Izuku a serious look on his face.
"Well, that worked, I think." Adrien muttered before the exertion he'd just used hit him and his eyes rolled up into his head, he was unconscious before he his head hit the ground.
All Marinette could do was watch as Adrien slumped forward onto the now very dusty but only slightly cracked ground and lay there on his chest, face to the side, unmoving. Her panic caused her suit to slightly change and a display in her visor showed that Adrien's vitals were fine he was just out cold and would be fine though he did need some serious energy restoration. That made sense as he had blasted his Quirk past its limits so he wouldn't be coming too anytime soon. As such Marinette quickly flew through the dust to land just in front of her love and protect him just in case Chisaki turned to them.
It seemed that Chisaki wasn't really too focused on this however as he stood up clearly in pain, blood running down his face and muttering to himself. He seemed to reform his broke arm to heal it and then walked to the large, naked, body of Katsukame who was still out cold on the ground and laid his hands on him.
There was a disgusting explosion of red mist as Chisaki looked up to the hole were Eri had been taken, blood raining down on him, as he focused solely on Eri and the boy who'd taken her away from him and was ruining all his careful plans to fulfill the boss's dream. He began to reform Katsukame's massive body around himself and fused them together before he used the new organic material to clamber out of the underground complex and get Eri back. Nothing else was on his mind.
"Hold on." Ryukyu said as the dust began to settle and a few bits of rubble rained down, her wings lifting to let up those she'd protected. "What just happened?"
"Where's Deku?" Ochaco asked worried as she staggered out and looked around for him.
She was currently standing on a large island of broken concrete that had been untouched by Agreste's Quirk as it destroyed the floor around them. She'd always known that he was one of the strongest in the class but what he'd just shown was beyond anything Ochaco had seen before. Marinette had always said that her boyfriend was her equal and for the first time Ochaco, and Tsu as well, now understood what only a few in the class had managed to grasp. Adrien Agreste was just as powerful as Marinette was and when he let lose there was no doubting how strong a hero he would be.
That was clear from all around them as Ochaco looked out to see that the rest of the floor was a good 4 or 5 feet below them other than a small island where the pillar had been that was a few feet off the ground having not been brought down to new level yet. The ground itself was cracked all over and likely couldn't be used by Chisaki not that it mattered as he was currently turning into a new, even more hideous, abomination.
The only other things on the ground around them were the naked body of an unconscious yakuza member that had been the fusion of Chisaki's first abomination, Agreste who was clearly unconscious and Marinette in her mech standing before him and protecting him. The rest had all been destroyed either by Agreste's Quirk or whatever Deku had done at the end to blast himself out of the room.
All this Ochaco saw as she looked out over the surprisingly debris free room, seriously Agreste's Quirk was a lot stronger than she'd first realized, to try and find Deku before she realized that he had gone through the hole she and Ryukyu had made in the street. She knew that it was in part her deep love for him that was coming out that was driving her, but it was more than that. He was her best friend and fellow hero, she had to make sure that he was safe.
"This isn't good." Ryukyu said as she raised her head still in dragon form to look at the monstrosity forming before them though Chisaki kept his back to them the entire time. "We have to…"
"You needn't worry." A weak male voice said from behind them, and they all turned to see Nighteye propped up by Tsu with the spike still in his body shocking all of them that he was still alive, let alone conscious and able to speak. "You 5 are safe, at least for the time being. He's not going to target any of us. Chisaki, he'll head to the surface in pursuit of Midoriya and Eri. Then, he'll kill Midoriya and escape with Eri."
"We can't let him do that." Ochaco said as she turned to walked forward but the earlier loss of vitality thanks to Katsukame's boosted Quirk after they'd first caught him catching up to her at last and she fell to her knees before faceplanting onto the concrete, her helmet protecting her, as her lack of energy caught up to her, but she still manage to push herself up a little, resting on her forearm and looked up to the hole. "We can't let Chisaki kill Deku. The world needs him, I need him. I can't lose him before I can tell him that I love him."
Ochaco knew that her feelings were escaping just as Marinette had said they would in times like this and that now she'd confessed that she had them to Tsu as well, though she suspected that Tsu had already guessed, but she couldn't help herself at the moment. She wasn't wrong, the world needed Deku. It wasn't just her love for him speaking, he was a great hero already, he was her hero and soon he would be All Might's replacement she knew it in her heart. There was no way that he could die today.
"I foresaw it." Nighteye said weakly, resigned to the fact that fate couldn't be changed. "And what I foresee always comes true."
"We can't just sit here and do nothing." Ryukyu said slamming her left claw down and raising to her full height with wings spread as she looked up to the hole in the ceiling and the sky beyond.
"Given the shape you are all in, you cannot stop Chisaki and the only two with Quirks able to bring him down are out of the fight." Nighteye said resignation heavy in his voice. "I'm sorry but it will happen."
"That doesn't matter." Ochaco said determination and conviction in her voice as she drew on her love for Deku, on the inspiration he instilled within her whenever she thought of him for strength and with an almighty effort and her Quirk inadvertently activating to send a few pieces of loose concrete into the air Ochaco rose to her feet and took a few steps forward looking up at the hole as she spoke. "I have to do something and help him. There's no future except the one you create."
Ochaco fell to her knees as Marinette turned at her words, picked up Adrien's unconscious body, and used the mech to leap over to her friend and help her, laying Adrien down next to her and using her body to prop Ochaco up as she looked past her and into Nighteye's eyes. He had a serious look on his face, but he was clearly thinking something, and he'd seen it too, he'd seen the way Deku had inspired Ochaco the way All Might had done to so many over the years.
"I know you know." Marinette said to Nighteye, she'd never spoken to the man in the planning stuff or the mission, but she'd been told that he was in the loop about All Might by Mage and as such was also in the loop about them though he'd never used his Foresight to find when they'd arrive for whatever reason she didn't really care about at the moment. "Take it from me, the future is never set, I know because I have changed the future in the past. It is always changing, always shifting, and you never know what might happen be it immediate, long term, or unbelievable."
Nighteye met the French girl's gaze and understood her words perfectly. His mistake with All Might had been why he'd never helped Demos when the strange man had asked him to use his Quirk on Mage after Nighteye had been informed of the Guardians and their existence, but he knew of Ladybug and Cat Noir's past. It had been glossed over a while back and when they'd arrived Mage had informed him that they were now here but until recently he'd not known the full extent of it. He'd also told Nighteye of all their missions and the powers of the Miraculouses, so Nighteye knew what Ladybug was speaking about.
The biggest takeaway Nighteye had from all he'd learned about the French pair was that they should not be here. They came from a time before Quirks and that no future of theirs should have had them sent to this year. Add in what Midoriya had said when he'd taken up the fight with Chisaki after Nighteye had failed and how Uravity had just acted and well, there was one way to confirm all this. Nighteye knew that he wasn't long for the world so why not see if for once he was proven wrong. Why not see if the Quirkless boy All Might had chosen as his successor could twist fate itself.
"Froppy." Nighteye said.
"Ribbit." Tsu said still holding Nighteye but pulling back a bit to see what he was saying.
"You go and help Mirio." Nighteye said weakly, he needed to make sure that his protégé was ok and they needed Eraser Head, so Froppy was the best for it right now. "He's on the other side of the wall. That hole, Uravity, Ryukyu, Ladybug, I need your aid. Take me to the surface so that I can see this with my own eyes."
As he spoke Chisaki had been using Katsukame's body to make some gross monstrosity of hands and muscles to reach the hole and then pull himself up to it. He was gone from the underground compound and confronting Midoriya as Tsu left to find Togata and the others came to Nighteye's aid.
"Mage needs help too, he's pretty badly injured." Marinette said as she helped Ochaco to Nighteye. "I need to call it in now that things seem to have calmed down but for Chisaki."
"Of course." Nighteye said as Ochaco used her Quirk on Nighteye and the spike in him before using it on him to float up and gently carry Nighteye into the air.
Ryukyu got under Ochaco and used her wing to give them a gentle, but firm nudge up to the hole in the ceiling, Ochaco doing all she could not to be sick as she was near her limit from her earlier use on Katsukame and the fact that she had had a fair bit of her vitality stolen by that villain. However, it was the only way they could do this even if it was dangerous so Ochaco pushed past her limits as a U.A. student would and focused on completing the mission she'd been given.
"Go on Uravity, get Nighteye to an ambulance and try to keep the spike stabilized in his stomach." Ryukyu said as she sent her student and the pro upwards just as a large boom was hard from above. "Be careful, I'll be up as soon as we have Lemillion and Eraser Head."
"BB, Creati." Marinette said as Ryukyu was sorting out her student and pressing her left hand to her helmet thing to activate the communicator to the rest of her team. "As soon as it is clear, use the hole in the street to get down here. Mage needs your help and the best for it is Creati right now."
"On it girly." BB's horribly accented Japanese came back to her. "Come on booby, the others got this let's go help the boss man."
Marinette ignored the rest of the exchange as she looked up to the hole. She hoped that it would all be fine as the final part of the battle raged on above them.
While everyone had been dealing with the many pitfalls, traps, battles, slow separation of forces, and hardships of the underground compound, Momo had been doing pretty well for herself in the courtyard with BB, the heroes who'd stayed, and the police who'd remained with them to assist. There had been a lot of yakuza thugs, many with long rap sheets and outstanding arrest warrants but their sheer numbers weren't enough to overwhelm the trained heroes and police.
Well, that and none of them were clearly expecting a scantily clad, blonde, slightly battle mad, American, bombshell with nigh on unstoppable invulnerability and strength that was unmatched by any present. Momo barely had to do anything but make restraints for various types of Quirks and occasionally fend off a yakuza thug with her staff as BB was doing most of the work. Even the other heroes were impressed by the strange American who they only knew as a sidekick with the Guardian Agency.
Then again it really helped when nothing the yakuza had seemed to be able to budge let alone injure BB with their attacks. Momo could tell that the woman was holding back to not kill but with a single punch as she was downing yakuza left right and center with a wide grin on her face as she worked. She didn't even seem to need the guns on her thighs or her knife, BB just used her raw strength to handle more yakuza than the rest combined.
With her aid the work above was pretty quick and they were able to start rounding up and restraining the yakuza by the time Mage, Marinette and Adrien were dealing with their own challenge. Ambulances and prison transports were called, and the captured yakuza were restrained and either taken to the local jail for processing or to the nearest villain hospital depending on their condition.
It was so efficient that the heroes present were able to quickly head to the houses around the compound to evacuate any civilians still present just in case anyone was there. As they were doing this, the officers either went inside to help out or were part of the large detachment needed to hold Katsukame in the specialty manacles for a person of his raw strength who'd been secured by Ryukyu and her agency.
Of course, it was just as the last of the yakuza were being dealt with that they heard the commotion on the other side of the wall. Momo and BB ran to the gate to see several officers on the ground and Katsukame free, larger than ever and chasing after Hado who was in the air and making lewd gestures with his hands while Ryukyu in full transformation battled him.
Before Momo could lend aid she watched as Ochaco, and Tsu joined in despite looking drained for some reason to help make Katsukame float and drag him to the intersection where Ochaco released him. Between the man's weight and Ryukyu's as she forcefully accelerated his acceleration they had enough force to crash through the street and disappear from sight. That could only mean one thing, they'd punctured the ground so deep that they'd fallen to what had to be the underground compound below.
Normally Momo would have gone after them, but she and BB had to help the officers who'd not gotten up as they'd been drained by Katsukame's Quirk though Momo didn't know how that had happened. Thankfully, it was just a matter of helping get them clear and onto the latest round of ambulances that pulled up to get them clear. Some ambulances to stay for when it was all over but there was always two or three that would come in from the edge of the cordon to help evacuate injured officers or transport villains.
It was as they were helping the officers that Momo heard the boom that seemed to come from behind and below her. She turned rapidly to see the air around the hole appear to fluctuate as if something had shot through it at high speed. She wasn't sure what it was until she looked up to the other side of the hole and saw a figure in green sparking with electricity land on the ground and carve a deep groove into the street. It was Midoriya, or as Momo knew she should refer to him right now Deku, and he had a little girl with silver hair in his arms who was clutching a red cape.
Momo watched as Deku set her down and said a few things to her before doubling over in pain. She was just about to go help her classmate when a grotesque hand thing grasped the edge of the hole before a monstrosity clambered out of it. Momo didn't know how to begin to describe it as she, BB, and the officers around them gawked at the sight of the thing now looming over Deku and who had to be Eri. Whoever or whatever it was it seemed to be able to speak but none of them could hear it given that its bulk was obscuring the sound.
She knew that she had to help but for the life of her Momo had no idea what she could do. Sure, they had BB with them, that woman could probably take this thing though it might have the strength to actually hurt even her, but there was Deku to consider, and this thing had him cornered and was approaching him, damaging a building in the process.
As Momo was trying to decide what to do it happened. There was another loud boom, and the monstrosity was launched into the air high above them, a green blur right behind it. Momo just gaped at the height the thing was sent and the power that would have been required to do that. She recalled the raw power Deku had shown back when he had no control over his Quirk, this was like that, but he seemed to be unharmed somehow.
"Jesus Christ did he send that varmint flying." BB said in English and Momo noted that her eyes were wide. "I couldn't kick that critter that high. Who the hell did that? That level of power would break even my bones"
"Deku, he's…" Momo began before she suddenly heard a crackling in her ear and knew that it was the communicator that Mage had given them.
"BB, Creati." Marinette's voice crackled over the radio sounding a little off as if she wasn't using it correctly and there was a slight strain to it that indicated that she might be in pain. "As soon as it is clear, use the hole in the street to get down here. Mage needs your help and the best for it is Creati right now."
"On it girly." BB said and Momo was impressed by how quickly the American snapped out of her shock and was ready to act but then again she was a hero, a U.A. grad and her smarter brother was probably yelling at her inside her head, most likely the last one if Momo was being honest. "Come on booby, the others got this let's go help the boss man."
"It's Creati." Momo said with a sigh as she ran after the American who was now running to the hole in the road.
"Ok I'll make us something to get down there." Momo began as she quickly recalled how to make a rope ladder, an easy thing for her to make. "We just need to secure it and…"
"No need, we're taking the express elevator." BB said and before Momo could say anything the American scooped her up into her arms princess style and leapt into the hole as if it was nothing. "A small fall like this is nothing for me."
Momo just had time to let out a yelp as they fell, zooming past what looked a floating Ochaco carrying something gray in her arms, before they landed hard on the ground below with a boom that cratered the ground and kicked up a fair bit of dust. Momo had dealt with this with Marinette once before, though why it was other women that kept carrying her like this she couldn't understand, but she was still a little shaky as BB set her down and she looked around the room.
It was a large area that had to have been altered by a Quirk, almost certainly Chisaki's, as the walls were unnaturally in place and sealed it off except for two holes in them that were oddly at different heights and led out onto a drop. That was when Momo blinked and realized that they were standing on a cracked floor and in a crater that BB had made by landing, but which was lower than it should be, 4 or 5 feet at least.
The one thing that wasn't lower was a patch of floor that formed an island above them on to one side which was Ryukyu still in her dragon form and a mech suit with a ladybug print that had to be Marinette and what looked like the stub of a pillar that had been formed from the floor. How the room was like this was beyond Momo as she was certain that Chisaki's Quirk couldn't lower almost an entire room so smoothly and with such little debris but for an abnormal amount of dust.
Momo clambered out of the crater and along with BB hurried over to her friend, not noticing the naked yakuza thug on the ground nearby, and still wondering what had happened. As she neared she saw that there was a black clad figure lying on the island unmoving and realized that it was Adrien which seriously worried her as it would take a lot to bring someone like him down.
"Ladybug, what happened?" Momo called out as she neared, her arrival with BB having alerted Marinette to their presence instantly. "Is Cat Noir ok?"
"He's fine, unconscious and will need a lot of recovery fluids as he used up all of his energy but he's otherwise fine." Marinette said as they neared but she held out a hand to stop the women from climbing up. "Hold there, I'll explain all later, but you need to go through that hole and run to the end of the corridor. Mage is there and he's hurt, bad. No time for anything else got it."
"Right, come on it's faster this way." BB said grabbing Momo again and this time slinging her over a shoulder before running to the hole Marinette had pointed to that looked like it had been an original hole that had been added to by something which given what Marinette had active was probably her doing. "Bug girl said that the boss man is hurt, we need to get that creation of yours there, Ben says it will come in handy. The kitty should be fine."
All Momo could do was let herself be bounded on the American's strong shoulder as she looked out and back at Marinette who managed to shrug in the mech suit before she was out of sight as BB jumped up and into the hole with ease. From there it was just a wild sprint down the corridor that was a blur to Momo as the American showed that she was as fast as she was strong because it only took a few minutes before…
"Boss! Oh my god what happened to you!"
Momo felt BB come to a sudden halt and hoist her off her shoulder and set Momo down on the ground. Momo turned and gapped at the sight before her as she steadied herself from the whole carrying ordeal she'd just been through.
They had reached a section of the hallway that had been warped for some reason, likely Irinaka if Momo had to guess as this seemed more like general manipulation of the walls rather than reassembly though the scale was larger than it should be if the records she'd read on the tiny yakuza member were accurate. There was a hole in one wall and debris all over the ground but that was immaterial to what was on the floor before her.
Slumped on his side, the smear of gold showing how he'd slid down the wall, was a shirtless Mage. He lay at the base of the wall in just his jeans and sneakers in a puddle of golden liquid as he clutched his gut were it seemed to be seeping out of. Marinette wasn't wrong, their boss was badly injured and what worried Momo the most was that he was an immortal Guardian with an impressive power so she had no idea what could have done this to him.
"Quick BB, we need to help him." Momo said as her first aid training came back and she rushed over to Mage and fell to her knees by his head to make sure that he was still breathing, bandages already coming out of her arms in tight rolls. "Do you know field first aid?"
"Ben does and he's already giving me instructions on what to do, good thing I'm not shy about my body or tits." Beth said as she ran over behind Momo who'd managed to confirm that Mage was still breathing meaning he wasn't at a point where he had to fake his own death, yet. "Medical bandages, make it he says, and I'll staunch it with my shirt as this flannel is pretty absorbent. There's so much blood though."
"I know." Momo said wondering if BB could see what she was seeing as the gauze was made and she tossed it at BB who'd already ripped her shirt off, apparently it was so tight it served as a bra as well not that Momo wanted to know that much about the other woman, and was tearing it into strips before catching the bandages. "Keep him on his side as that is best with a wound like this. He's still breathing so we can save him if we are quick, and medics get down here."
"Right." BB said as Momo left her to it partly because she had the strength to do it quickly with someone in her head already giving her instructions and partly because she heard a whisper and bent down to hear that Mage was trying to speak to her. "Leave it to me."
"Creati, don't panic, it hurts but I've controlled it as best I can, and Beth sees red so don't mention the color." Mage said in a weak voice as he took short, ragged breaths, and it took Momo a moment to realize that he was speaking to her in Korean and not Japanese likely because he didn't want BB to overhear as she used her ripped shirt to staunch the wounds in Mage's abdomen and back. "Take this, enter 24 and it will contact who needs to show up to properly heal the alkali in my blood. I'm going to pass out now that you're here to ensure believability, stay and make sure all is well. This will end soon."
With that a device that looked like an old school, simple, handheld calculator appeared before Momo as Mage appeared to slip from consciousness before her though he was still breathing which was a good sign even if it was labored. Momo didn't know what the device was, but she grabbed it out of the air and entered 24 before hitting what should have been the = button but was actually a send button. There was a beep and then a message flashed where in an alphabet that Momo didn't recognize but had to be some form of alert system for the Guardians, so she trusted it as the device vanished a second later.
Momo had no idea what was going on, but she knew that she had to help as best she could, so she sat back on her haunches and turned to Beth. The American was now topless next to her, her shirt in strips, as she tightly bound Mage's abdomen with the medical bandages Momo had made.
It would hold and at least allow him to keep his cover as he now had a chance of getting professional attention before he bled out. Momo just sighed as she looked down the corridor. What the hell had happened and what was going on outside? All she could do now was wait and trust the others once again as she turned to help BB tend to Mage while the rescue mission came to its conclusion above them.
"I got things covered down here, Ladybug." Ryukyu said to Marinette still in her dragon form. "Go on, get up there, we may need your power to restrain Chisaki if Deku can't beat him."
"Right." Marinette said understanding what was being asked of her and leaping into the air before using the thrusters on her mech to blast herself up and towards the hole.
As she did a cube of protein shot out and she caught it in her mouth to eat and recharge thus keeping her item active for a few more minutes. It was her second morsel since she'd created the mech, and she was already running on fumes thanks to what had happened earlier in her fight with Ulcisci.
Marinette knew she was injured, and she was well past her limits, but she was a hero, surpassing them was just part of the deal and she pushed through it and into the sunshine to help just as the large monstrosity that was Chisaki slammed into the ground unconscious and on the other side of the hole as Marinette landed in the cracked street.
Marinette had landed behind Nighteye and Ochaco who hadn't noticed her there as they stared in shock at a glowing yellow light in the dust of the finishing blow. As the dust cleared Marinette also gaped as she saw Deku standing here glowing with power, his hair on end and bright green and his eyes blazing with energy. On his back, tied there by Lemillion's cape and holding onto him was Eri, her horn large and glowing yellow which was the source of the light that was fully engulfing both of them.
Marinette had no idea what the little girl's power was, though it had some ability to break down Quirks, but whatever it was it was allowing Deku to hold his own power at full. This was the potential the boy had, and Marinette had to admit it was staggering to witness the sheer power he would one day wield when he fully controlled his power.
Nighteye was talking and Marinette could just about make out how he was amazed that Deku was alive, that he should be dead, but he wasn't, he was alive and Chisaki was had been defeated. Marinette didn't know the specifics of Nighteye's Quirk, but this was clearly not what he'd seen when he'd looked to see how the battle would end.
"Uravity, get Nighteye clear." Marinette said. "Hurry, we may need you in a moment."
"Right." Ochaco said snapping out of it and again using her Quirk on Nighteye to quickly get him somewhere safe where a medic could look after him and get him to a hospital.
Marinette stayed to keep an eye on things as she was sure that it wasn't over yet. Chisaki, only his upper body normal in a wide beak and attached to the monstrosity that he'd made from Katsukame's body, was out cold, blood on his face and his mask no longer present. Deku meanwhile was looking at him with a determined look on his face not realizing anyone else was present and Eri was on his back, horn still glowing, and it was only intensifying as the seconds ticked by.
This was the end of the battle and Marinette was about to go to help when Deku let out a yell of pain as he fell onto his hands and knees, Eri on his back and the yellow glow that encased them getting stronger. Whatever it was it was Eri's power and Marinette could tell right away that the little girl had absolutely no control over it. Whatever Eri's Quirk could do it was something that was hurting Deku and thus had to be stopped immediately.
That meant that there was only two things that could be done. The first and easiest one was get Eraser Head here and erase her Quirk, but he was no where to be seen. The other was to knock Eri out and hope that her power was ended if she lost consciousness.
"Sorry Eri." Marinette whispered as she set her goal at knocking the girl out and her right arm gauntly shifted into an electrical stun weapon that would deliver enough of a charge to knock out a 6-year-old girl and her heads-up display set up a targeting system for her. "I'll make it up to you when you are safe and secure, but this is to save Deku so that you can thank him."
As Marinette raised her arm to fire she heard a noise to the side and saw that Chisaki was up again. All she had time to do was leap back before a meaty, gross, and clearly unnatural hand fell down onto of Deku and Eri despite the fact that they were still glowing with Eri's uncontrolled power.
Marinette watched in stunned silence as the yellow light traveled up the arm and hit Chisaki as he raged from within the beak thing he'd made. Whatever Eri's power was, it knocked him out again and somehow reversing his fusion, restoring his body to normal and doing the same for Katsukame as it ejected his unconscious body out of Chisaki's to slam into the road a fair distance behind him.
It was a stunning sight and Marinette was glad Ochaco had come back as she wasn't able to do anything as she was still focused on targeting Eri with a stun weapon, but her friend had already leapt up, grabbed Chisaki by the wrists while keeping one of her fingers on each hand off him and avoiding his palms, and slammed him to the ground on his chest. Ochaco shoved her knee into his back and held him there, wrists locked and palms facing the air so that Chisaki couldn't use his Quirk.
Marinette had to admit, her friend had come a long way this year and that internship to teach her some martial arts was a really good idea. Ochaco was becoming a much more rounded hero, it was no wonder that she'd been scouted out by Ryukyu as a work study student.
"What's the situation?" Marinette turned as she heard Ryukyu's voice and saw the hero clambering out of the hole in dragon form to ask what was going on which meant that the police likely had the underground secured enough to allow her to rejoin the fray as well.
"I got Nighteye to a safe pace and the civilians are already being evacuated thanks to Creati and that American woman giving the other heroes the time to ensure it." Ochaco said as Marinette snapped out of her confusion struggling to understand why she was a little fuzzy at the moment though she'd learn in time that it was from blood loss and noticed that Ryukyu had Tsu, Mr. Aizawa, Togata and Amajiki with her and only the first one looked good. "Deku was fighting Chisaki but, something seems off."
"It's Eri's power." Marinette said reminding them all that she was here as she turned to look and they all saw that Deku still encased in a yellow light, black energy shooting off him and clearly in pain while Eri was crying on his back trying to stop it. "We need to stop her."
It was at that that Tsu felt Mr. Aizawa raise a finger slowly and between that and Marinette's words she knew what to do even as Marinette raised her gauntlet clad arm likely with something that might work but Mr. Aizawa was the best for this. So, with her other hand she raised her teacher's head, he couldn't move much at all thanks to Kurono's Quick still in his system, but he could still use his Quirk so long as he could open his eyes. Midoriya and Eri were in his line of sight and with a silent apology to his student Aizawa activated his Quirk.
His eyes glowed red, his hair stood on end, and a second later the light ended as Eri's Quirk was erased before Marinette had a chance to fire whatever she was about to fire. Eri herself wasn't sure what was going on, but her power was gone, and she fell forward, a fever taking hold of her as she collapsed unconscious on top of Deku who held her tight no longer in any pain.
Marinette knew that they'd won at that as she lowered her arm glad that she'd not had to fire a stun charge at Eri and at last dismissing her mech. She fell a few inches, it wasn't a big one like she'd created during the licensing exam, to land on her feet as she looked at the sight and her exhaustion took over causing her to fall to her knees and slumped back to kneel on the street. She placed her hand on the ground and smiled though as she steadied herself just as Ochaco said what they were all thinking.
"It's over."
I think that is a good place to end the chapter and the raid to rescue Eri. I know a good portion wasn't seen and a fair bit happened off page, all of which would be what happened in the canon as Marinette and Adrien weren't present to change it but given the importance of this raid on several characters' developments I wanted to keep as much in tact as possible while also factoring in Marinette and Adrien and the changes their presence has made. Still, we all got to see how Adrien has improved and the contribution he played though it was a little different to how I'd initially envisioned it because when I rewatched the episode the moment that Ryukyu and co. came down was the best moment for Marinette and Adrien as well so I tailored it to that while still showing off what Adrien could do even if he went Plus Ultra and is now out cold and in need of medical attention. Marinette was always ready to act but other factors stopped her and Aizawa was better for Eri than a stun charge. Now they can all get the medical attention they need as we move on to a few chapters that will be dealing with the aftermath of the raid and how adding Marinette and Adrien changes what happens in some ways. That is all I have for y'all though so I will leave this chapter off here. As always, if you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads. Do keep the reviews coming as I like hearing from y'all as you enjoy my work, it motivates me to keep producing the best work I can for y'all to enjoy. Until next time.
