Here it is, the seventy-seventh full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released on the set day that I promised each week. The raid has come to an end but the aftermath and toll of it is still to come so that is the next arc of which this is the first of 3 or 4 (depending on the length of the last chapter) chapters that will address the wake of the arc before we move into what comes next though as y'all can probably guess one anime arc will be skipped out as it isn't relevant to the story due to no influences on it from Adrien and Marinette so I'll be moving onto the major arc after Overhaul and that will have a lot of fun things to look forward to and the first chapter based off the School Briefs book (in part) in a long time. That is all the administrative stuff I have for now though and as there are no review questions to answer or guest reviews to respond to I will end this note here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all. Now, though, it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 77th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.

Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.

Chapter 77: Medical Attention

Almost as soon as it was clear that the fighting was over, that Chisaki was in custody and that Eri was safe Ryukyu reverted back to her normal form and took charge of the situation. It was a mix of her being the highest ranked hero on the public charts that was present, and the injuries or unknown status of the other major heroes present that led to Ryukyu being the one to assume command as she began to bark orders to the officers.

Immediately after they were getting to it she'd hurried over to make sure that Nejire was alright where she'd fallen on the ground, but the Big 3 girl was overall fine just tired from all the spent energy from using her Surge Quirk so much. She even managed to flash a peace sign to her boss to reassure her so that Ryukyu could go back to running the show.

The first thing that had to be done was to make sure that all the available ambulances came to get the injured heroes, officers, and civilians and take them to hospitals unless they needed emergency stabilization first. Thankfully, no civilian had suffered more than a minor injury due to the fact that most were at work and the few who weren't had had time evacuate. That plus Deku had actually kept the bulk of the outdoor fight in the air and aimed for the broken piece of road at the end showing impressive foresight and skill which wasn't easy against an opponent as large as Chisaki had been.

That just left the officers, of which most only had minor injuries, and the more serious injuries to the heroes. There was also a hunt for the League of Villains members with Toga and Twice being identified as having both assisted and then betrayed the yakuza during the raid, but they had fled before the cordon was complete. Still their presence was not a good sign.

In short order the remaining members of the Hassaikai, the big fish as they were all that were left, were rounded up and swiftly taken into custody. Those with minor wounds like Nemoto, Irinaka and Sakaki were quickly cuffed and escorted to cruisers to be taken to jail where the medical ward there could handle them.

While Kurono could walk he'd taken a swordfish point thing to the arm, so he was cuffed and transported with special restraints for his hair to the local villain hospital. As were the three who Amajiki had dealt with on his own earlier though that was more due to the toxin he'd used to subdue them than any serious bodily injury that they might have.

The only ones with specialty restraints were Katsukame, who had a heavy seat of specialty manacles around his arms and was then strapped onto a specialty stretcher with nine restraint straps across his body from ankles to shoulders to be evaluated at the villain hospital, and Chisaki himself. His Quirk was especially tricky, but he was fitted into a pair of metal restraints designed for a Quirk like his and likewise strapped to a stretcher to be taken to the villain hospital followed by Tartarus prison where he would be held pending trial as he was deemed too dangerous for any other prison.

In addition to all of this they found the old boss, who it turned out was Eri's grandfather as the news of her true parentage and how her Quirk was a mutation, a rare occurrence when a Quirk manifests that is not related to either parents' or their families, was revealed. Apparently that had been told to Aizawa by Kurono after he'd used his hair to capture the pro and was restraining him.

Had the villains won and gotten away they'd have taken Aizawa with them due to his Erasure Quirk but instead Kurono tried to kill him when it all failed. However, he was stopped by an injured Amajiki who'd come across them while helping out a wounded Togata thus saving the pro and enabling Tsu to get him back to Ryukyu in time for him to use his Erasure on Eri to end it the raid.

Togata himself had passed out from blood loss shortly before the end of the raid and was out cold by the time they'd reached the surface as Amajiki held his friend in his arms. He, along with Aizawa who had two stab wounds in his back and a cut on his arm and was still under the slowing effects of Kurono's Chronostasis Quirk, had been some of the first to be put onto stretchers and taken to the local, normal, hospital.

They were joined by Rock Lock who'd been stabbed in the side by Toga when the League revealed themselves to him, Aizawa, Nighteye, and Deku but he could get to the ambulance with the aid of two medics. It was clear that all three would live but they were swiftly taken away as they didn't need on sight medical attention so best to get them clear while those in need of immediate attention received it.

As the ambulance with them pulled away, Nighteye's injuries were so severe that he needed onsite emergency treatment before he could be taken to a hospital and of all his prognosis was the worst, Fat Gum finally emerged from the entranceway. It was a bit of a shock to the girls, all of whom had managed to make it to the entrance where they found Momo covered in blood that she reassured them wasn't hers and as it was golden to Marinette she knew who's it was, to see Fat Gum's true form as he directed a pair of medics wheeling a heavily bandaged Kirishima out of the front entrance on a stretcher.

It turned out that Fat Gum's Fat Absorption Quirk worked as a stockpiling Quirk that allowed him to gain fat really easily and that fat in turn absorbed the momentum of anything that hit him be it a fist, foot, or weapon. He then converted that stored energy from his fat into raw power that he could unleash in a punch, but his fat burned away in the process leaving him as a stocky, muscular, man.

Clearly he'd used it during the fight and given Kirishima's injuries, who all the girls and Fat Gum smiled at as he slowly came too and smiled back at them as he was wheeled away, it had involved Kirishima. Kirishima looked beat to hell, but he was alive, and the medics assured them that he'd be fine as they wheeled him past them, he just needed to get to the hospital and be healed by a doctor there.

The girls would learn later that after all of them had been separated from the main group, Irinaka had gone after Eraser Head, but Fat Gum and Kirishima had pushed him away as Aizawa's Quirk was more important to the main mission to be split off from the group. The pair had been sent to a room similar to the one Marinette, Adrien and Mage had ended up in only with two unknown yakuza thugs that weren't on the lists that the cops had given them just before the start of the raid. One could create barriers that were near impenetrable and the other could punch really hard and fast.

In the ensuing fight, Kirishima had appeared to be knocked out by a single punch right at the start. Fat Gum could withstand the punches though even he couldn't fully absorb them making the punching yakuza thug one of the most dangerous villains in the whole raid, but Fat Gum's stalling had an unintended side effect.

It had given Kirishima the time he needed to have some sort of revelation that gave him enough renewed strength to return and get in the way of the punching villain, some bloodlust bare knuckle brawler called Rampa, and used his Ultimate Move, Unbreakable. This time Kirishima held it without breaking or being sent back and into a wall thus allowing him to be the shield Fat Gum needed to allow him the few seconds it took to convert his fat into power.

Thanks to taking all of Rampa's blows at the start Fat Gum had the power to break through the shield that the other thug could create and defeat the yakuza duo. All 4 had been badly injured and were out of the fight but Rampa had shown them to a room to get patched up in where Fat Gum had restrained the other villain, Rampa's arms were too badly damage to fight, and give Kirishima first aid to stop the bleeding.

After that it had just been a matter of waiting for the police and Centipeder to arrive to arrest the villains and get Kirishima out of the room and to the ambulance in which both Amajiki and Fat Gum hopped as they too needed to be checked over. It certainly sounded like Kirishima had really had a true hero moment and one they all wanted to hear more about. It was the same with what had happened to Marinette as she'd returned from wherever she'd been sent to lend aid in the final battle with Chisaki even if all she did was serve as a bodyguard for Adrien while he did most of the work.

However, before they could ask Marinette the next stretcher came out with Adrien on it. His mask had been removed and placed on his chest so that an IV put into his neck, the only place they could given his suit, but he was still out cold and not coming to anytime soon.

Marinette was a little woozy on her feet, but she held it in as she watched her love be wheeled away to an ambulance knowing that she'd see him soon because once it was clear she was going to need a check up as well as she'd taken a few blows herself during the raid. The one good thing was that at least this time Adrien wasn't unconscious because he'd tried to sacrifice himself for her or someone else but because he'd done the right thing, used his Quirk wisely, and played his part in the raid to the point that he'd gone Plus Ultra and passed out from it.

The other girls didn't say anything, but all looked worried at Adrien as he was wheeled away both worried for their friend and classmate and for Marinette as they knew how important Adrien was to her. It had been a long, hard, morning but they'd gotten through all 45 minutes of it and the injured were being taken to the hospital.

The only two left to leave were the two who'd needed onsite attention in Nighteye and Mage though the former was now on his way to an ambulance as he needed the hospital right away. Deku, who was still with Eri, handed the now feverish girl over to a medic to get treatment as Nighteye was wheeled away and got a few seconds with him that both needed before Nighteye was taken for emergency surgery to try and save his life.

That left only Mage and he was just being rolled out by a pair of medics who'd found him and redone the bandages better with proper gauze pads. After that they'd put an oxygen mask on him, IV, and blood drip from the universal donor type to ensure that he was all set for transport. Of course, Mage himself was unconscious by this point and would be for a few more days at least given his condition.

Momo had been with them when they arrived, making a shirt for BB to cover up just before they could see her exposed breasts, but had gone on at a nod from the American who then went to help continue clearing the compound with the police as they might need her strength to deal with any stragglers or walls that needed broken through. That was how Momo had made it back up with the rest before Kirishima and Adrien had been wheeled out.

"Hold that one." A female voice said in American accented Japanese with an authoritative tone that made the medics stop just as they got to where the girls were. "That one needs my aid before he goes to the hospital. He called me in especially for this and it looks like I'm now stuck here for a while"

The four girls of Class 1-A present turned to see a woman walking down the street her left hand up as Mage was wheeled into the street so that the medics could see who was telling them to stop. It took one glance to realize that the woman was a Guardian like him as she wore the same outfit only with a blood red shirt and hooded cape that was over her head but not hiding her now bright blonde hair with red tips.

The big differences about the woman though was that she carried a staff that was a larger version of a caduceus, the symbol of the medical profession, with a spike at the base for some reason and that the interior of her cloak, along with her belt and harnesses on her thighs, were covered in medical equipment from gauzes and bandages to sterile wipes, needles, vials of medicine, scalpels, and many more the girls couldn't identify. Well, all that and her face, which took all 4 by surprise.

While the woman was attractive, she was about average height so taller than all of them except Momo, and with beautiful pale white skin, her eyes were startling. They were blood red and not just the irises, the whole sclera as well so that it was like looking into twin pools of blood. To add to it she had blood red lipstick on and red nail polish on her sharpened fingernails, but it was the markings from her eyes that was the most striking addition to her appearance. Pouring down her cheeks from her eyes in three lines of red paint that made it look like she was weeping blood. It was a sinister and off-putting look.

"Um who are you?" One of the medics asked as the woman reached them, the girls still staring at her and her sudden arrival. "We have a seriously injured male here and his wound isn't closing properly. We've tried to suture it, but they keep getting dissolved so we're rushing him to the hospital so that a doctor can look at him."

"Fuck, that's not a good sign." The woman said before she moved the staff to her other hand and held out her right arm to show the medics a tattoo on her forearm. "And as for who I am, this should tell you and you'll notice that my colleague has a similar one on his arm."

The girls all looked and saw that on the woman's arm, in what looked like lines that were expertly cut by a scalpel complete with blood dripping from them was SANGUINA 24, her name and rank number in the Guardians. Momo now knew at once why she'd been told to contact the number 24. It had summoned this woman and based on her rather blunt style she could guess the woman's element.

"It's ok, she's one of the Guardians so technically mine and Creati's superior as we're work-study students for them at the moment." Marinette said to the medics. "Those tattoos can't be faked and are unique to each one of them."

"Thank you Ladybug but to reassure you two, take this to the chief officer and have him scan it for authenticity." Sanguina said reaching into her pocket and producing a blood red card. "This is my hero license card, a special one for an international hero, as well as my ID letting you know that I am a fully qualified doctor and a recognized healer thanks to my Quirk. I'm here as a healer though I will have to present myself to the highest-ranking hero in a moment, but you can let the hospital that I will be assisting the doctors there later. First though, move, I need to deal with my colleague."

"Um ok." One of the medics said as he took the card, looked at it with a stunned expression, and then headed off while the other just stood around to keep an eye on things.

"Here, hold this for me Creati." Sanguina said thrusting her staff into Momo's hands. "Don't touch the ends. That spike at the base is real and the top doubles as an axe capable of cutting through bone. It's my weapon, I know you know what that means."

"Yes ma'am." Momo said knowing that she had to show deference to a Guardian though she was immediately curious as to who the woman's parents were as that might explain why she'd received the element she clearly had.

Sanguina just nodded as she pulled out a pair of medical scissors from a strap on her thigh and deftly cut away the bandages and gauze that was stained gold to her, Marinette and Momo but red to everyone else. She then quickly pealed away the dressing to inspect the wound in Mage's gut. It was a clean, straight, vertical line to the right of his navel several inches long and that ran from just above his waistline to midway up his abs. It looked partially healed thanks to his own power, but it was seeping golden ichor and the edges were tinted an ominous blue color.

"Not good, been a long time since I've seen a wound like this but thankfully it is a through and through, a severed limb would have been a lot worse." Sanguina said in English as she surprised all watching by sticking her right index and middle fingers right into the center of the wound where the seeping was the worst. "Now let's see, is this…"

Suddenly Sanguina stopped talking as her eyes went wide and darkened, something they could see thanks to how her sclera were red. She snapped her head up and looked straight and Marinette, a hard look on her face.

"Was she here?" Sanguina said switching to American accented French as she addressed Marinette directly her fingers still inside Mage's abdomen. "Was that vile woman present? This isn't her weapon wound, she uses a rapier and likes to leave neat holes right through the heart, but her power is what's infecting it. Tell me Ladybug, was Vindicta present?"

"No, she wasn't." Marinette said instinctively in French as the other girls looked at her in confusion though in Momo's case it was feigned as she'd yet to reveal to the rest of them that she could speak French. "That was caused by Scimitar. He and Ulcisci were here, waiting for Mage and we got sent with him when Irinaka separated us from the others. They'd predicted that he'd come and had made some deal with the yakuza to await him. Cat Noir and I held off Ulcisci while Mage fought Scimitar, that's how he got the wound. He knew he couldn't win so he let himself get stabbed to counter so that he could capture Scimitar."

"Come again?" Sanguina said her eyes wide as Momo now understood at least the basis of what happened to Mage and the French pair. "Please repeat because that is something we've been trying to do for millennia. Scimitar was captured?"

"I think so, Mage said he was, and he sent some white light at him as he was pinned to a wall by Mage's gauntlets, and he vanished." Marinette said a little unnerved by the woman's intensity, the power she wielded as a Guardian was palpable at the moment as she clearly wasn't suppressing it as much as she would normally be. "So, I presume so. Ulcisci fled using some warping tech though, but we destroyed his khopeshes and his bow was left behind along with a few of his fingers."

"Damn, well done old boy, the master will be pleased." Sanguina said in English turning and smiling at her fellow Guardian her fingers still in his wound. "You did well, this is the least I can do for you, and I'll take over for you here for a bit. You need this rest to recover fully."

With that Sanguina seemed to concentrate really hard for a few seconds and the girls, and medic still present, gasped as Mage's blood glowed brightly, either gold or red depending on what you saw, and the blue around the wound vanished. Sanguina then pulled her fingers out and laid her whole hand on the wound palm flat on Mage's gut so that it was fully over the wound. She held it there for a moment before she removed it leaving a thing line of scabbed over flesh that would leave a scar.

"What, what did you do?" The medic said his eyes wide as he looked from the wound to Sanguina as the blood on her hand seemed to be absorbed into her for some reason. "Nothing we could do was working but you managed that with your Quirk I'm presuming."

"I've stabilized him fully." Sanguina said simply seamlessly switching back to Japanese for the medic. "The sword that stabbed him was coated in a special alkali that poisons the blood and causes pain while preventing the wound from properly closing, it is a substance I have encountered before so I can quickly remove it. My Hemoglobin Quirk gives me absolute control over blood, hence why I am the Guardian of Blood, so I was able to purify Mage's to get it out of his system and then I just accelerated the clotting process."

"Woah that is really useful for first aid." The medic said his eyes still wide. "No wonder you're a doctor."

"Yes, in addition to becoming a hero I sought out a medical degree to further help out and so long as the issue is related to blood or requires blood I can cure someone, even ensure that those religious groups that don't allow blood transfusions survive." Sanguina said. "Thankfully, in this case, it was a clean stabbing so I was able to do a fair bit for his internalized bleeding, if it had been a gutting then I'd have been out of my depth as I can't replace organs. He's still going to need surgery but he's stable for now. I'll conduct it personally with the aid of another Guardian but take him to the hospital and keep him under observation, I need to help Ladybug. Send over another pair of medics, female ones."

"On it." The medic said now clearly willing to follow her orders after what he'd seen as he wheeled a now stable Mage away to a waiting ambulance.

"Um Sanguina, why do I need help?" Marinette said though she was really starting to feel woozy now. "I'm fine, I'm just…"

"Stop right there, the fact that you are still standing is a testament to your enhanced constitution and sheer will power little lady." Sanguina said switching back to French, her tone serious as she looked at Marinette. "I am the Guardian of Blood; I know my element exceptionally well and even without it you reek of it. Your red costume is hiding it but your coated in blood and it's all your own. You've lost 22.84% of your blood so drop your costume and let me look at you. Don't make me have to order you."

"Right, um, ok." Marinette said as she raised her right hand to her Miraculous and pressed it in with all 4 of her fingers to deactivate it.

Instantly the costume shot back into it and fell away from her as the Miraculous returned to a normal piercing in Marinette's navel. The moment it did she felt the lack of stability and strength it offer her as suddenly her legs went from her, and she pitched forward while the other girls gasped at the sight. Thankfully Sanguina was there to catch Marinette and instantly ran her hands along Marinette's right bicep and back to get the worst wounds while Marinette was propped up against the woman's body.

The others' reaction was only fair as Marinette was a state. True they'd seen her worse, but it was still a shock to see her so beat up. All she was wearing was her special underwear of a tight breast wrap and short shorts, but her entire torso was red with a mix of wet and dry blood, as where her thighs and the back of her left leg.

It took only a moment for them to see the wounds. Marinette had 3 long horizontal slashes on her chest, one at the top from shoulder to shoulder and two across her impressive abs. She also had a deep looking curved slash in her upper right bicep, and serious grazes from her right wrist to her shoulder, and on her outer left bicep and forearm. As she leaned against Sanguina the girls say a final, deep, stab wound just next to her left shoulder in her back.

"There, I've clotted the blood, so you won't lose anymore and accelerated your body's natural replenishing of blood to replace what you've lost, but you need to go to the hospital for a proper healing and stitches in your back at least." Sanguina said as Marinette gave up and had to be held there. "Those khopeshes are sharp, I've felt their sting many a time but thankfully Ulcisci has enough honor left to not coat them in alkali."

Just as Sanguina finished two female medics appeared with a stretcher and instantly it was clear why Sanguina had ordered that they be female given Marinette's state of dress. They quickly helped Marinette onto the stretcher, set up the IV and covered her in a medical blanket before taking her away to an ambulance where she'd receive attention on the way to the hospital. Marinette was still conscious but at this point she was slipping out of it and just let the medics take her away knowing she needed the attention.

"Um what just happened?" Ochaco asked as Sanguina rose and turned to them, right hand out and receiving her staff from Momo. "And what were you talking to Marinette about?"

"The international backers that Mage discovered were offering to fund this yakuza group's activities were here it seems, and they sent their best which is how Mage and Marinette were wounded." Sanguina said simply reverting to Japanese again now that Marinette was away. "Now who's in charge, I need to see that person right away. With Mage unconscious and unfit for duty there are some annoying protocols I must follow before I can go and help out at the hospital."

"This was Nighteye's raid but, um, he's on his way to the hospital." Tsu said. "And so is Fat Gum so probably Ryukyu. She's the only major hero still around that I know of."

"Ah the blonde dragon lady, I know her." Sanguina said turning to look for her. "You three should get onto the next ambulance and go to the hospital to get checked up just in case though the only one of you I can order to leave is Creati, but I recommend all of you head out as soon as you have permission. I'll be there shortly so Creati, I'll be debriefing with you once you've gotten the clear."

"Understood ma'am." Momo said as Sanguina headed off to find Ryukyu and a little startled by everything.

After a moment though Momo recovered and gathered the others to find transport to the hospital for a quick check up though all three were pretty much unharmed. They may be fine at the moment, but they still needed a check up and the pros now had everything in hand. It had lasted 45 minutes in total and finally the raid to rescue Eri was over for them but there was still one of their class left to be dealt with.

While the others had been helping out, getting looked at, or in the worst cases being transported to the hospital, Izuku had stayed put for a moment before finally standing and carrying a now feverish and unconscious Eri to the ambulances. He himself was fine, Eri's Rewind Quirk had fully healed him and without it he wouldn't have beaten Chisaki, but the others weren't as lucky, so he wanted to check up on them, but Eri did come first.

He took her to the chief officer and explained the situation before she was passed over to a medic and rushed to the hospital to have her fever sorted out. She'd have to be in observation as well given the nature of her Quirk and their lack of understanding of what it could actually do, but Mr. Aizawa was at the hospital now getting looked at so things would be fine on that front.

Izuku was told to get himself looked at as well and he nodded at that, it was always a good idea to get a checkup after a battle and Izuku was kinda looking forward to actually not ending up in a hospital bed covered in bandages for once. Before he could do that, however, Nighteye was wheeled past him and in dire need of the hospital.

Even with the need to get him into surgery and on the verge of unconsciousness Nighteye still called for a stop of the stretcher and spoke with Izuku. He'd done so to tell Izuku that he'd twisted fate, that he'd defied the future by succeeding in defeating Chisaki and rescuing Eri. Izuku in turn told Nighteye that All Might couldn't face him but that he said he'd live and that they should meet again so Nighteye had to make it.

Nighteye knew that Midoriya spoke the truth and he would try to see the Symbol of Peace one more time. He knew that his time was up, even with all the healers in the world he was a goner with the injuries that he'd suffered, but Nighteye had made peace with his fate. There was just three more things he had to do or say to three specific people, and he would hang on until then. Izuku Midoriya was one of those people and he'd reminded Nighteye of a second. It was those thoughts that allowed him to hang on as he was put into the ambulance and rushed to the hospital.

As it pulled away, the only people left standing in that area were Izuku with the chief officer of the raid on his left and Ryukyu, the now de facto hero in charge of the aftermath, on his right. It was a strange, surreal moment as they watched the ambulance go, a few others leaving as well, and the raid drawing to a close.

"Midoriya." Ryukyu said breaking the silence and causing him to look over at the number 9 hero who wasn't looking at him but staring forward with a slight from and a long stare in her gold eyes. "Many people were hurt today so this isn't the time to celebrate, but thanks for all you did today. We wouldn't have won without you and your determination to save that little girl. Many played a role in it, but you finished what they started, you should be proud of what you accomplished this morning."

As Ryukyu was finishing her words she turned her hear to him and gave him a small smile. Izuku was surprised by that, he'd not actually spoken to Ryukyu yet, but he was happy to hear her words and the complement she'd given him. Of course, he was also unaware that she knew a lot about him, Uravity wouldn't shut up at times about Deku so Ryukyu knew just what kind of hero he already was and even if Uravity hadn't confirmed it earlier Ryukyu would have known her brunette student was in love with Midoriya. Hopefully one day he'd see it too and return it.

"Hey, Ryukyu, long time no see." A voice in American accented Japanese said causing Ryukyu, Izuku, and the chief officer to turn to see a woman in the uniform of a Guardian, her color being red, approaching them and instantly Izuku recognized her from Hosu; Sanguina the Guardian of Blood. "Just the dragon I've been looking for."

"Sanguina, it has been a few years hasn't it." Ryukyu said trying and failing to hide both her surprise and relief that the Guardian of Blood of all people was here for some reason, after this battle they'd need her Quirk. "What on earth are you doing here?"

"I got a message on our emergency alert system." Sanguina said. "Came from Mage's emergency device and was sent straight to me which meant that he was in a dire situation that only my power could alleviate. I came right away and after some slight delay while whatever y'all were doing her was sorted out I was able to reach him before he was taken to the nearby hospital. He's fine and stable now and on his way to the hospital where I'll personally take charge of his surgery when it happens, but I learned what he faced. I'll speak with you, Fat Gum, and any other senior hero once there's time but it wasn't good. Ladybug and Cat Noir are also on the way to the hospital with injuries, but both will be fine."

"That is good, I did smell a lot of blood on Ladybug the moment that suit of hers vanished and I don't think I would have needed to be transformed to smell that." Ryukyu said while Izuku just listened closely for news on his friends. "That's not the only reason why you are here though, right?"

"Correct, I have to follow protocol now given what just happened." Sanguina said seriously. "So, I'm here to officially let you, Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu, know that I, Sanguina, the Guardian of Blood, am temporarily assuming command of the Guardian Agency's Japan branch in Tokyo. While the reasons for Mage's assignment to our agency here 2 years ago are still classified, his assignment came with the stipulation that an active and able Guardian must always be in command of our agency here and given what happened today that is even more imperative. Mage is going to be sideline him for a few months at least so I must assume his duties in the agency."

"Um why are you telling Ryukyu?" Izuku asked confused. "Shouldn't you tell the HPSC."

"Deku, was it? I met you in Hosu that night with Stain if I recall." Sanguina said turning to him and he nodded at that. "I'm telling Ryukyu as she's the most senior hero still standing and as part of the agreement that the Guardians have that allows us to be an international agency we have to make these formal statements to whoever is deemed to be the most senior at the moment they are to be made."

"Oh, but, um, isn't Mage still around?" Izuku asked, he'd actually not learned of the Guardian of Magic's current situation. "I admit I don't know international hero law at all, but I thought that Mage was still down in the compound sorting things out. I know he was separated and wasn't with Ladybug and Cat Noir, but I thought he was just sorting out what they'd dealt with and sent them on because of how useful their Quirks were at the time."

"Mage was stabbed by a poisoned blade when he was separated from you lot and while he did win, with help from Ladybug and Cat Noir, he is unable to execute his duties as head of our Japanese branch." Sanguina said. "Though it is rare, Japan is one of the few branches were the current rules require Guardian command of our branch here. Given that I am now here, I will temporarily assume command of it until Mage is deemed fit for active duty again. To do so I have to declare my assumption as soon as possible which was now. In a time of peace like when Gem took over briefly during the summer it would be made to the Chairwoman of the HPSC but right now I have to do a field notification."

"And I understand and on behave of the HPSC in my current position as on sight hero in charge recognize your statement." Ryukyu said. "Though I expect you or one of your members will make the proper declarations to the HPSC as soon as you can."

"I have had to call in a second Guardian for the surgery and other factors that require her Quirk, so she is already en route to the building in Tokyo with the formal paperwork." Sanguina said. "She'll then come assist me in the hospital as she too is a fully certified doctor. I, however, must head there right away as my skills are needed. I'm placing the Guardian sidekick BB under your direct command Ryukyu. She's still somewhere around helping out as she's unharmed, that Quirk of hers ensured it."

"Understood and thank you for all your help." Ryukyu said. "We'll speak more once the dust settles; you'll need to be brought up to speed on this and we'll expect a full report from you on your assignment to Tokyo and how long it will be for. While I don't often work with you lot, I am well aware of how the protocols work when involving your agency."

"Of course, with certain things redacted as is our right if we deem it necessary in the execution of our duties and the reason for a permanent Guardian presence in Japan is one such determination." Sanguina said with a grin as an ambulance pulled up next to her. "Now here's my ride. I suggest you send any remaining students to the hospital for evaluation both physical and mental, but if they are able to then have them start of the paperwork right away as that is going to be a bitch for you lot."

"I'll do that." Ryukyu said as Sanguina hopped into the back of the ambulance that seemed to have an injured officer in it who was bleeding and set to work before the door had closed and the ambulance was off before she turned to Izuku again who was just confused at this point. "Go get checked up Midoriya. The day isn't over, but the raid is."

Izuku nodded and headed to one of the waiting ambulances for a ride to the hospital and his checkup. It had only taken 45 minutes but the raid to rescue one little girl was finally over. Now it was time to deal with the aftermath.

I think that is a good place to leave off this chapter, short and sweet in the aftermath of the raid while still at the compound. Naturally, the next chapter will deal with the rest of the immediate aftermath at the hospital, updates for all, and a return to school with all that that entails before I move onto at least one, maybe two, original chapters showing the influence and changes having Marinette and Adrien around bring. That is all I have for this chapter however so I will leave it off here. As always, if you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads. Do keep the reviews coming as I like hearing from y'all as you enjoy my work, it motivates me to keep producing the best work I can for y'all to enjoy. Until next time.
