Here it is, the ninety-seventh full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released on the right day as promised. It's time for the fourth battle of the Joint Training arc and we are hopping right back into the action and the changes adding either Marinette or Adrien (in this case Marinette) to the battle can make to it and what is about to go down. The only other thing to say is that with this chapter this story has reached 900k words, my second in as many weeks to reach this mark and the first in the Miraculous community to manage it (normal or crossover) so thank you to all the support that has kept this story going to reach this milestone and many more to come as there's so much more to tell. That is all the administrative stuff I have for now though and as there are no review questions to answer or guest reviews to respond to I will end this note here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all. Now, though, it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 97th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.

Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.

Chapter 97: Blasting Forward

"This environment really works for them." Kojiro Bondo said as Class B's 4th team, named Team Tokage for identifying purposes due to her being the de facto team leader, set up while waiting to start the 4th match. "Between Sero setting traps with his tape and Jiro on recon this could be bad for us."

"That's just part of their team." Yosetsu Awase added. "We can't forget about Sato's physical strength and Bakugo's absurd explosions. They're the offensive force so we should assume that if we mess up we're dead. Just with those four alone they're super well balanced as team."

"And that's not factoring in their 5th and final member." Bondo continued. "She's on their team for this one as well and we just saw how strong she truly is. Dupain-Cheng cannot be underestimated a second time, she's got everything the other 4 have but all by herself depending on how she uses her Quirk. I thought the hype about her wasn't all that but clearly she's their class's strongest."

"None of that matters." Togaru Kamakiri said as if it was the simplest thing in the world. "Let's just slash 'em to pieces. My blades can cut even someone with enhanced endurance like Dupain-Cheng and she's a bug, I like to collect bugs so I will add a victory over the powerful Ladybug to my collection."

"We'll surprise them consistently and focus a lot on Bakugo from the very start; the early bird gets the worm." Tokage said. "That is how we will win, it's the only way."

"Surprise them?" Bunshi Mizosa, the other General Studies student who was in his second matchup of the day, asked the members of Class B whose team he'd drawn at the start of the exercise. "How? They've got a recon specialist who can hear us coming, a capture specialist who can leave traps, and that French girl's Quirk is absurdly powerful if you ask me. The fact that it's totally random at the same time only adds to the problems we'll deal with her in the match."

"Speaking of Quirks." Tokage said looking at the transfer applicant on her team. "Before we start, we have a moment given the how bad the last match was in terms of injuries, I've got a question about yours."

"Sure, what is it?" Mizosa asked. "I thought I'd explained it after my first match but if you need clarity I can offer it."

"No, I understand it perfectly, it's more the name of it that I want to ask about." Tokage said. "Out of sheer curiosity, why is it so technical? Dihydrogen Monoxide Manipulation, that's a bit wordy for a Quirk and that's coming from someone who's Quirk is called Lizard Tail Splitter. Why not go for something simple like Hydromancy? Why bother with a name like that?"

"Because calling it Hydromancy or something similar to that would be inaccurate to what I can actually do and I'm not about being inaccurate." Mizosa said clearly a little perplexed by the question. "I can't actually control water; I literally control H2O molecules so Hydromancy or other water-based names would be incorrect. A name like that implies I can manipulate water as it is in liquid form but that's not actually true, I affect the molecules directly so I can exert some level of control over other forms of H2O like water vapor, so stuff like steam, and ice as much as I can water."

"You can?" Awasa asked surprised by how technical the transfer student's Quirk really was. "That would make you great against Todoroki then."

"Not really actually." Mizosa said shaking his head clearly unhappy that that wasn't the case. "You see, being able to affect solely the molecule of H2O has drawbacks if those molecules are in gaseous or solid states. In a gas, the molecules are free to float around and not near each other, basically they're all on their own and you need a lot to create water vapor in a way that it can been like with steam, so there isn't much for me to use and control. By contrast, in a solid you have an exceptionally rigid with very little flexibility as the molecules all packed together. So, when it comes to ice, the best I can really do is either move large quantities of it in a large block or simple break it apart by ripping the molecules away from each other."

"But because in a liquid the molecules are close together but move over each other in a fluid manner it is easier to manipulate its properties in such a way as to be effect in battle." Tokage said getting it. "Which is why you mainly use H2O in its liquid form."

"Yes, the fluidity of water has both the vast quantities of molecules I need to be effective in it while also being malleable enough to work well when I manipulate them." Mizosa said with a nod. "And as water is naturally a liquid at room temperature it is also most common and accessible state that the molecules are in thus adding to its ease for me. I can shape it best when in water form but to actually call my Quirk anything to do with water, the liquid state of H20, would be a misnomer and I refuse to be inaccurate with my Quirk's name."

"Your must have some serious science skills to master that kind of Quirk." Kamakiri said as he tried to wrap his head around it. "To understand it on such a level, that takes training for sure."

"My parents are both molecular scientists, so it runs in the family, that's another reason why I opted to name my Quirk as such as it is a way to honor their profession." Mizosa said with a shrug. "Plus, it confuses people as to what I can actually do which adds to underestimating it and we all know that if a Quirk's name is underestimated or confusing it can be advantageous. More than all that though I just like how it sounds no matter how hard it is to say."

"Huh, I never thought of it like that but just look at the other team." Bondo said. "Earphone Jack, Sugar Rush, and Lucky Charm, all aren't clear at first what they can do but when you realize it only Sugar Rush is still somewhat confusing. Even on our team our Quirks aren't named as directly as you'd expect, mine is named after an adhesive company so makes sense but you have to know that to get it."

"Fair enough Mizosa, you answered my question and it's you're Quirk so your decision to name it whatever you want not anyone else's and even here we've got it as few know exactly what my Quirk can do based on it's name." Tokage said with a grin. "And it's my Quirk that will be the best thing we got for this match."

"How so?" Mizosa asked. "You said it was called Lizard Tail Splitter but what does it do? I don't recall seeing it at the Sports Festival."

"My Quirk allows me to split my body into several pieces that I can control telekinetically which has the bonus side effect of giving me flight abilities when I'm not whole." Tokage said showing why she was a recommended student with a Quirk like that, well that and it was a bit like Creation in that it may not do as well against robots as other Quirks, so the recommended exam was better suited for her, and she had the connections to take it. "Thanks to all the work I've done this year I can now control up to 50 pieces at the moment so when this match starts I'll do just that and send my pieces everywhere while my brain and eyes go high. I can then use my pieces as both distractions and to create a lot of sound."

"That way you can disrupt Jiro's search abilities." Bondo said getting it. "All those pieces hitting the pipes will throw her off."

"And even Lucky Charm would struggle to create something that could track me which is why I expect Marinette won't make anything for that purposes, not with Jiro on her team as well." Tokage said. "After she called me out during the Sports Festival, after she outplayed most of our class, I've learned that she's not one to underestimate but more than that is that her mind isn't normal. She's not a linear thinker and when you combine that with her battlefield experience and leadership and the nature of what her Quirk can do, well it's no wonder that she's the top student across both classes as far as I'm concerned."

"How do you stop a Quirk like Lucky Charm?" Mizosa asked. "I still don't understand it very well or what it can do other than that it's really strong."

"It allows her to create an item that will accomplish the goal she has in her mind." Bondo said recalling what he'd heard about Lucky Charm. "So yeah it's strong and it seems that so long as Dupain-Cheng has time to figure out what to do with her item and deploy it, it can't be stopped. That's what makes it so powerful."

"A quick slice to the body will do it." Kamakiri said. "Speed can overwhelm it, Todoroki proved that in the Sports Festival so I'll carve her up before she can figure out how to use her item."

"And her items are solid, I can work with that." Awasa said. "Weld should work on them which would allow me to immobilize it and force her to dismiss it which can give us an opening."

"True but in general we should simply assume that we really can't fully stop it as she's improved it since she came to U.A. just like we all have done with our Quirks." Tokage said. "I've heard a few whispers that it's considered a top 5 Quirk ever recorded at U.A., that's what we're up against with Marinette and that's without dealing with her mind or the fact that Bakugo actually acknowledges her."

"Wait it's that strong?" Mizosa asked clearly taken aback by what Tokage was saying."

"I'm just reporting what I've heard, and while I don't think it's that strong it's not something we should underestimate." Tokage said. "All this is why we really can't prepare for it though with Lizard Tail Splitter we can reduce any quick and efficient search abilities while Weld and Cemedine can take out an item and force Marinette to dismiss it before recreating it which might add to her stamina cost for her Quirk that is its biggest weakness as it requires her own natural energy to maintain similar to how Agreste's Cataclysm works. However, with Marinette our main goal is to just occupy and distract her."

"Wait, go back a moment, did you say that Bakugo acknowledges her?" Kamakiri asked more to find out how to get that for himself as he saw Bakugo as personal rival as he was gym buddies with Tetsutetsu, but he wasn't even a blip on the explosive boy's radar. "How do you know that he acknowledges her?"

"He uses her name." Tokage said simply. "He did in the Sports Festival, that's when I started to pick up on his strange habit with names. The only people Bakugo calls by name are people who have either somehow forged a friendship with him like Kirishima or who he considers worth challenges like Todoroki, Agreste, and Marinette. Impressing him can work to some extent as I think he's used Uraraka's name before but given her not so subtle crush on Midoriya, who we all know Bakugo doesn't like, he probably just ignores her for the most part."

"That's not good if Bakugo acknowledges her, that means he sees her as an equal of sorts." Bondo said. "How do we deal with that?"

"The same way we deal with this match in general." Tokage said with a grin. "Play on Bakugo's nature."

"How so?" Mizosa asked. "I only know him as the angry, powerful boy who won the Sports Festival and got kidnapped that one time but that's about it."

"Best not mention that last bit." Tokage said. "And as for how we deal with him, it's simple, we strike them with a series of surprise ambushes and hit and run attacks. We've got to keep Marinette occupied so we'll rotate out, mainly Kamakiri and Mizosa, to occupy her while waiting for openings to exploit as we constantly harass Bakugo as much as possible. We do that by going for the slight gap that they will have."

"Gap?" Awasa asked.

"Between Bakugo and the rest of them." Tokage said. "Bakugo goes at his own beat, one that is fast and hard to keep up with. The others will all be following that and having to work off it but there will be a delay between him and them, so we attack him in those delays and keep it up until he makes a mistake. Only Marinette can really keep up I'd say, hence why we occupy her at the same time to get her out of the picture while we strike in those gaps when we can."

"That makes sense." Bondo said. "But what of the fact that Dupain-Cheng is a natural leader and one who more would follow over Bakugo? We all saw that, she's a leader as much as Bakugo is even if they're calling the other team Team Bakugo. She could just let Bakugo go on his own and corral the others to her with a plan for just them."

"That is a possibility, and we can exploit that if it happens but for the main part we just occupy her to keep her busy, that's what the first team failed to do so we'll do it right." Tokage said. "We win this by employing this strategy, if we can't capture Sero, Jiro, and Sato right at the start, while avoiding capture ourselves. If we can get Bakugo or Marinette that is good and secures the win for sure, but they are secondary. We target that gap, occupy their wildcard, and win."

"Works for us." Kamakiri said. "Let's get to slicing, I can't wait to carve 'em up."

"Then move into positions." Tokage said as Vlad started the match, and she detached her head from her shoulders before breaking up her body, including her mouth and throat as one piece and breaking off an eye as well. "Mobile, counter, precision, and taking openings the moment we have them, that's how we win this."

The team nodded as they headed out and Tokage set her body pieces to work. This was how they were going to win, she knew it, and at last they'd get some redemption as a class in this exercise which had seen them lose two of the three matches so far and tie the other. It was time to record a win for Class B.

"Listen up underlings." Bakugo said to his team of extras and Dupain-Cheng as they gathered up for a final planning session before the battle. "Just follow me when this starts, you can all do that right?"

"Why are you looking at me?" Marinette asked calmly as Bakugo had turned to her at the end of his opening statement to them as a team.

"Because you're the only one her who can keep up with me and who the underlings here respect enough to question me but that won't work in this match." Bakugo admitted, he had long since acknowledged the French girl as a true challenge to him, one that could help him get stronger, so he at least showed her some respect unlike the other extras in his team, but she needed to learn her place for this match. "I assume you know why."

"Hey, this isn't what I'd call teamwork Bakugo." Sero said trying to get his attention. "We're all part of the team."

"Did you seriously call us underlings?" Sato asked but Bakugo wasn't listening to him. "Dude, that's harsh."

"Yeah I know why." Marinette said coolly surprising Sero and Sato though Jiro wasn't so surprised, she already looked up to Marinette the most in the class so this all was in form for her understanding of the French girl. "You have to take the lead in this match and head towards the fight from the start while we support you."

"Precisely, especially you Ears." Bakugo said suddenly pointing at Jiro. "Make sure you keep track of the enemy, that's what you can do better than anyone else on this team."

"My name is Jiro." Jiro said not too pleased at Bakugo's habit of not using names for most of them. "Use it."

"Are you going to charge them head on?" Sero asked confused. "The other team's got some really good counterattack and trap Quirks on their side. Jiro is our recon ace, we should just sit back, wait for an opening and then hit them with the power we have between you, Sato, and everything Dupain-Cheng brings to the table. Then I trap them in tape before we haul them off to training jail for the win."

"Idiot." Bakugo barked. "Explain it Dupain-Cheng, I don't have the time to waste on the extras."

"It's quite simple Sero." Marinette said with a sigh at having to do what Bakugo, as the leader, should do but she could at least do it in a nicer manner and it showed that he at least had some respect for her understanding of how the match had to work. "They're going to expect us to either sit here and wait for them by using Kyoka's Quirk to find them though I expect Tokage will be a problem in that regard, or they will expect us to lag behind Bakugo as we try to keep up with him. We can't wait for either of those because we won't get the right moment. To win this, we make our own openings and show them that we work as a solid, cohesive unit with him as the leader."

"Precisely." Bakugo said his desire to test his mettle against Dupain-Cheng in a single combat battle only increasing as she continued to stand above him in the underlings' eyes. "If we get eyes on them, we've won this match. Got it and take these just in case."

At that Bakugo pulled out three of his support grenades filled with his hand sweat and tossed them at the extras. They were confused and worried as they protested and fumbled them until all had one in their hands and they didn't explode much to their relief, but he ignored their words of surprise at being given them.

"They don't pack much of a punch, but they can be useful, use them as you see fit." Bakugo said before looking to Dupain-Cheng. "I only have three and you don't need one, you can keep up with me and that Quirk of yours is versatile enough as it is to cover anything you might need in this match."

"True so what do you want me to do?" Marinette asked surprising the others with her full deference to Bakugo as the team's leader. "We both know that they'll try to exploit the fact that this team has two potential leaders, but your competitive spirit is intense and I'm not prideful enough to but heads with it when we can use it to win. I know when to lead and when not to. Right now, you have to fully lead the team in this match, Bakugo, so I'll defer to you. That way there are no issues of leadership and we cut off one of their avenues of attack as they can't force a wedge where there is no opening for one to be shoved."

"Good to know that your brain is as sharp as I've noticed." Bakugo said, he was too prideful to accept a supporting role, but Dupain-Cheng knew her place at the start and was playing to his ego which worked for them and would show just how good he was to the extras in their class. "You're the main all-around support. Swing with that toy of yours, use your enhancements and Quirk as you see fit and play off what I and the others do but I will leave the finite judgement calls of what you have to do to you. That is how we win."

"Understood." Marinette said with a nod, and it was her acceptance of her role that really convinced the others to work with this. "Let's win this then."

"One more thing." Bakugo said to the extras. "When you're in trouble I'll save you, and when I'm in trouble, you save me. I've made a decision; we are going to win this 5 to nothing with no injuries and in record time. No one will doubt our total victory today."

The others, including Marinette, all smiled at that and nodded. This wasn't much of a plan, but it was a good one and a moment later they got to put it into action as Vlad started the match. The moment it did, Bakugo blasted off, Marinette and Sero took to the pipes to swing with her yo-yo and his tape respectively while Jiro and Sato followed behind them. This was the fourth match, and this was how they were going to win it and the whole day for Class A.

"Our team is strong in this one." Momo said quietly to Adrien as they watched the teams prepare on the screen. "Well balanced with all bases covered from power to range to scouting and capture and that's not factoring in Marinette's presence on the team. There is one thing that concerns me however and it's something that Tokage will see as well."

"The team structure and leadership." Adrien said calmly as Monoma ranted about how Tokage was going to show how much better than Bakugo she was in the upcoming match. "It's got two alphas in it so to speak even if in general Marinette's personality doesn't seem that way due to her leadership coming from her skills more than anything else."

"That and she's proven time and time again how strong she is." Momo said. "But I am worried that with Bakugo on the team he and her might clash when it comes with what the best plan is. He's a leader, I am under no illusions that he's not one nor do I doubt his strength, but he's not exactly an easy person for most to follow due to his personality."

"Bakugo's drive, will, and determination are what make him an inspiration to those around him even those who don't like his frankly terrible personality." Adrien said before suddenly switching to French to avoid being overheard as he didn't want any surprises to be revealed. "Which is why most will likely assume that Bakugo and Marinette can't work together as both will want to take charge. That will be where they lose."

"How do you know?" Momo said catching Adrien's drift and also switching to French for the chat as clearly he didn't want to be understood and only Aoyama could translate but he wasn't close enough to hear them.

"Because I know Marinette better than anyone here for obvious reasons." Adrien said simply. "Yes, she's a leader, an inspiration and a force of nature when she wants to be but none of that was what she wanted at first. She rose to the occasion when it was thrust upon her and showed her natural talent. True, she was the clear leader of the girls other than Chloe and Sabrina back home but that just showed her natural talents were there but not fully utilized as far as I'm concerned. Despite this, Marinette is also smart on a battlefield and will know both what her opponents are thinking and how best to work in a team."

"I'm still a little confused." Momo admitted. "I get most of that, but I still don't see how this applies to the match at hand."

"Remember how Marinette didn't directly face Shinso in the first match or how she trusted Tsu and Kaminari to deal with their targets in their counter attack." Adrien said and Momo nodded though neither of them added how Kaminari had failed spectacularly in this regard. "That's her delegating, knowing she can't do everything, and trusting her team to do their jobs. Here, she knows that Bakugo at least considers her worthy of his acknowledgement, it's why he uses her name unlike most people despite them not really talking, and Marinette will repay that by putting her faith in him as the leader. His personality and drive makes him lead from the front so Marinette will play into it and not mess with it."

"And because she can keep up and support she'll let him take charge without complaint thus preventing Tokage from exploiting a potential leadership rift in our team." Momo said getting it. "And trust him to have the best interests of the team in this match while he trusts her to do what needs to be done to win the match."

"Not just her." Adrien said recalling what they'd seen and heard on the screen. "He's already noted Jiro's importance, even if he doesn't use her name, and trusts them with his support items to assist when needed just like he did with Kaminari in the Licensing Exam if Kaminari's account of what happened can be believed. I think we're going to be surprised."

"Right." Momo said. "Then I'll trust your judgement on this Adrien, you've shown that time and time again that you know a lot more than you let on."

"Thank you." Adrien said as the match started, and he switched back to Japanese. "But enough of that, best to avoid foreign chats unless necessary, it is rude to our friends who can't understand us. Sorry."

Momo just nodded at that as they settled into enjoying the fourth match though now that the fact that she could speak French was known she would still use it more when it was necessary to use it. That was for later, now was time to watch a match that would either be a smooth execution of teamwork or a total mess, it really could go either way.

"Can't you extras keep up?" Bakugo roared as they tore through the pipes of Field Gamma looking for their opponent. "Ears? Where are they?"

"It's Jiro and I'm trying to listen as I run." Jiro said. "It's not easy to pinpoint as I move."

Bakugo just tisked at that as they kept moving. It was a tough ask, but Marinette knew that Jiro could do it and decided to help out in her own way but not undermining Bakugo in the process.

"Kyoka, I know it's hard but you're a hero, you can do it." Marinette called out supportively as she swung from the pipes above her. "We're counting on you because we trust your skills."

"I've…" Jiro began, motivated by Marinette's words to try harder as she got the sound of others near them. "They're near, right up ahead."

At that Bakugo looked and saw a flash of purple shoot past his eyes. It wasn't natural and looked to be part of Sharp Teeth's costume, so he grinned at it. The moment they saw the extras they were facing they'd won, and he knew it.

"Got you." Bakugo said as he blasted it away and landing in a crouch on a pipe as they were now in place while Marinette swung around above and in front of him to take point. "Ears?"

"Jiro." Jiro instinctively replied as she sent out her jacks into the metal and took the moment to check the area around her.

"Find them, they have to be around her somewhere." Bakugo shouted not even looking at her as he barked the order. "It's time to murder them."

As Jiro closed her eyes and searched Marinette sung up and landed on a high pipe in a crouch her senses alert and looking around. The sighting had been a piece of Tokage's body which wasn't a good sign and she really needed to be alert but it wasn't time for Lucky Charm just yet as she wanted to lay eyes on her enemies before using her Quirk.

It was times like this where she wished that she had some of the enhanced senses Adrien had but she didn't, she had the overall power on him with the nature of Lucky Charm, so his senses balanced them out. Still, it was frustrating, and it got more so the moment Jiro heard it.

Rather than hearing the sounds of footsteps, speaking, or even breathing in the area all around them all Jiro could hear was the sound of metal being struck repeatedly, all over the place in a loud, repetitive, and not in sync patter. Some of it was small items moving on the pipes, others were similarly sized items striking them like a drum as she tried to sift through it all not sure what was going on.

"What's taking so long there Ears." Bakugo growled. "Hurry up and find them."

"One moment." Jiro responded to focused to admonish him for not using her name as she kept looking and then it hit her, it was Tokage's Quirk. "It's a trap! They've cut off my search abilities."

"Lizard Tail Splitter." Marinette yelled as she looked and saw what she was looking for right by Bakugo though it was rather disturbing to her to just see the Class B girl's throat and mouth floating in the air with a taunting smile on it. "That's how she's using it to cut off our recon abilities."

"Hi, and bye." Tokage's mouth said to Bakugo before floating away as he lunged at it. "I used my Quirk to turn Jiro's search ability against her, smart, wasn't…"

Tokage was too busy gloating to notice Marinette's yo-yo come down from above and yank her mouth around the throat part cutting off Tokage's words. At the same time Marinette leapt off the pipe to come down and kick the mouth part as she yanked it to her silencing Tokage even more. All the other girl could do was watch this in shock from her detached eye high above it as her mouth and throat piece died and needed to be reformed on her main body, which was wherever her brain was.

At the same time Bakugo had unleashed a series of explosions around himself as Tokage sent several fragments at him to try and harass him into making a mistake. While this was happening, Sero formed a web of tape around himself and the others to prevent the pieces from easily getting to them, but it wasn't a smart move as it was just the kind of mistake that Tokage had hoped for.

"Bakugo, get down here." Sero called out as he felt they needed his explosions around them while Dupain-Cheng handled Tokage seeing as she's already silenced the other girl, so she likely had it covered. "We've got to regroup."

"Damn it." Marinette said as she landed on a pipe and rolled forward and tossing the now dead mouth and throat part of Tokage away knowing that it would reform soon but using the brief moment that the opposing leader was silenced to yell out what she'd noticed. "We've fallen into a trap, Bakugo. She wanted us to do that to give Bondo an opening, he's going to attack."

"What did I say at the start." Bakugo roared as he blasted around above them noting the odd-looking boy suddenly pop up and prepare an attack as well as something else that the French girl could handle. "Behind me! Deal with that, I got this."

"Glue Squall." Bondo said unleashing his Ultimate Move from above to cover the pipes and tape in glue that created a spiderweb using Sero's own tape to trap the three Class A members where they were. "Got 'em, I knew that Setsuna's plan would work. This is checkmate for us."

A second later, as part of the plan, Kamakiri leapt in with two blades out of his arms showing his Razor-Sharp Quirk off as he landed and leapt from pipe-to-pipe slicing through them while laughing and avoiding the glue itself to send them crashing down. This would trap them and thus secure it as they exploited the gap between Bakugo and the others.

Naturally they had to contend with Dupain-Cheng who wasn't down there but that was where Mizosa came into play. He was standing on one of the buildings on the other side and sent a blast of water at Bakugo's back as he flew around. It was to both distract him and lure Dupain-Cheng away so that she couldn't stop the combo move from working but, well, they'd all underestimate Marinette and her ability to work under Bakugo as this was what he'd shouted to her about.

As the water shot at Bakugo, Marinette leapt up and called upon an item to intercept and redirect it away to allow Bakugo to keep fighting as she tossed her yo-yo at a pipe knowing that the item would be formed. She swung up and around, heading towards the water's source as she trusted the others to do their jobs in this match just like her charm would.

The charm did so, creating a large, ladybug print, funnel with a tube attached to it that intercepted the water long before it would hit Bakugo and sent it away through the lower tube. Bakugo himself ignored this knowing that the attack wouldn't hit him as he blasted at the falling debris that Sato was about to block himself and get caught by it like an idiot.

With a blast, Bakugo blew away the debris and saved his team even as he was being harassed by some of Tokage's body parts. He'd freed up his team and opened the area but at the same time he'd seemed to create and opening for Kamakiri to attack Jiro from above in the process.

"Just what I hoped for, thanks for the opening boys." Kamakiri yelled as he fell towards Jiro, blades out and ready to do some damage that wasn't lethal but would rule Jiro out for the fight. "Time to slice off their scouting capabilities."

That was when Bakugo made good on his words right before the start of the match as he'd used the first blast getting rid of the trap to position himself for a second that blasted him right back to his team as the insect boy was bearing down on Ears. Bakugo reached her first and kicked her in the back, pushing her down and away as he positioned himself between her and Bug Boy before he blasted him full in the face with a powerful explosion. The force blasted Kamakiri away from them as Jiro fell to her knees, those watching stunned by what just happened.

"Managed to block the blast I see." Bakugo said with a grin as the explosion cleared and he saw that Bug Boy had gotten blades out of his left forearm and calf to intercept his explosion and protect himself. "Guess bugs have fast reflexes but you've got nothing on our team's bug. End him!"

With that Bakugo had blasted up to Kamakiri's level and sent another blast into his block that propelled the Bug Boy back and into a silo thing. There was a slight ding indicating that he'd used a blade from his back to impact the wall and save him, but Bakugo just ignored him as landed on a pipe knowing that Dupain-Cheng had it covered.

"Thank you." Jiro called up to him.

"Shut it and find them, those wannabe extras got away from us." Bakugo roared. "Remember, our victory is going to be flawless, no one will be able to question it. 5 to nothing and no injuries, understand? That's how someone with strength competes."

The others did and set themselves, motivated by Bakugo's words to do their best as Jiro sent her jacks out to focus again. She'd been briefly overwhelmed by Tokage's Quirk at first but now she got the sound for it she sift through it all to determine what was what. Marinette and Bakugo were putting faith into her; she wasn't going to let them down.

Speaking of Marinette, she'd been busy during all of this as she swung up and, spun in the air, and then shot down at Mizosa where he was while Bakugo was protecting the team. He was clearly shocked by her ability to block his shot with an item without directing where it would be but still managed to show why he was given a transfer shot by getting a wall of water up in time to intercept her kick.

Marinette knew she wasn't going to kick through it, he'd shown how he could manipulate water to give it solid properties because of how he controlled the molecules in his earlier match, so she decided to use the water shield as a platform instead. As she reached the water, she heard the explosion that initially blasted Kamakiri away from Jiro and instantly turned her focus to that instead.

She knew where her help was most needed right now and that this guy wasn't worth it so she bent her knees as she landed on the solid shield of water and leapt off it with a backflip and away before it could try and trap her and to finish what Bakugo had started. As she did, however, she tossed her yo-yo down to bounce it off the roof that Mizosa was standing on, under the shield and into boy's gut to wind him before he could react. That would keep him occupied for a moment as Marinette turned in the air, recalled her yo-yo and resumed the fight.

As soon her yo-yo was back in her hand she sent it out again, this time to loop a high pipe that she swung from as Bakugo praised her reflexes and told her to end Kamakiri, though she wasn't a fan of being called a bug despite her hero moniker as it was a little demeaning to the name Ladybug in her book. Still, she understood what was being asked of her and created an item that could withstand Kamakiri's Razor Sharp Quirk and knock him out if she landed right as Bakugo unleashed his second explosion at the other boy.

Bakugo for his part returned to the group and shouted at Jiro while Marinette swung feet first through the aftermath of his explosion and towards where Kamakiri had impaled himself to a silo to avoid hitting it with his body. The area around her feet sparkled and formed a pair of thick metal boots that came up to her knees. It slightly slowed her momentum but the trade off was power and defense against his blades as she closed in on Kamakiri with the ability to get past his blades and slam him into, and probably through, the silo.

Naturally Kamakiri was not idle, and he saw her approaching. With the speed and reflexes he'd shown against Bakugo he swung his legs back to kick off the silo and leapt free, the blade retreating into his body as soon as he was away from the silo, before he turned and fled just before Dupain-Cheng reached him.

"It's not smart to face either Bakugo or Dupain-Cheng head on, they're both too strong to best using my own style of fighting." Kamakiri said as he fled. "Better stay back and regroup with the others. We failed our initial capture of them, best to retreat and repeatedly ambush them from now on to hold the advantage."

As he was doing this Bondo was running back, Mizosa was using his water to create arms from the tubes on the backs of his hands to swing away though he seemed to be in pain, and Tokage was calling back her pieces that were still active and using them to strike the pipes as a way to lead Jiro to their next ambush point as her mouth and throat finally regenerated. This was how they'd win; she knew it.

Meanwhile, Marinette had reached the silo as Kamakiri fled and rather than change anything she just kept going, the heavy metal boots she now had on easily puncturing through the silo which she then passed through without an issue as it was empty, she'd deduced that from Kamakiri's sticking into it, and to the other side. She didn't stop for a moment as she kicked through the other side and back into the daylight, dismissing her boots as she did, and positioning herself to land on a pipe and slide along it as she watched pieces of Tokage move away from where her team currently was.

Things were going well, and she grinned as she heard Jiro announce that there weren't as many noises as before, something that got to Sero, but Marinette didn't notice that he'd begun to really understand Tokage's Quirk in the middle of a match when it was needed the most. Marinette was just glad that they had a plan and a direction as Bakugo grunted that they were going to regroup and prepared to blast off after them. This was likely their plan, focus on Bakugo, distract her, and go for that mistake but they'd underestimated their teamwork and how well they worked together as a unit.

"There's a lot of sounds but if I concentrate I can distinguish them." Jiro said as she focused through the repeated tapping of Tokage to find a heavier presence running and panting deducing that it was bond. "Ahead and to the right, Bondo's there."

"Let's get 'em." Bakugo roared as he blasted off once again at full speed. "You lot can't get away from me, I'm going to murder all of you!"

At that Marinette leapt up and swung her yo-yo to pull herself to a higher pipe that. Once on it she yanked hard to reel herself in before she ran along them, leaping and swinging when necessary, as she followed Bakugo from above keeping her eyes out for Mizosa and Kamakiri as they clearly had the best mobility so were the main ones that would come for her. Tokage wasn't much of a concern to Marinette at the moment as she was still in several pieces that couldn't really be fought but eventual she'd tire and then they'd have her were they wanted her.

As Marinette was moving, Class B sprung their next trap. Bondo hadn't been entirely faking as he fled from Bakugo, that wasn't a fear that could be faked, but he had been leading the explosive boy to a trap. Suddenly, as Bakugo closed in on Bondo, Yosetsu Awase popped up from where he'd been hiding without moving so as to avoid alerting Jiro, his breathing covered by Tokage's racket, and use his Weld Quirk on Bakugo as the explosive boy passed him by.

Awasa had to touch the things he wanted to fuse together at a molecular level, but he managed it with ease thanks to his training. In seconds he'd caught Bakugo by welding his gauntlets and the back of his costume to two concrete pillars with a series of concrete blocks he carried with him as part of his costume thus holding Bakugo in place in such a way that he couldn't blast his way out of it.

This was their plan and they'd finally executed it as Bakugo yelled in rage at his situation and Awase grinned running away, the pipes adding cover to stop Sero from getting to him. Marinette saw all this from above but pressed on, she knew what was coming because Bakugo had said to protect him as well whenever he was in trouble and that was just what they did.

With a roar and some more sugar, Sato reached Bakugo and used his Quirk boosted strength to shatter Bakugo's gauntlets and the concrete holding him in place with a flurry of strong, quick, punches thus freeing him. Bakugo grinned the second he was free and blasted off after Awase who was complaining that Bakugo didn't need to yell as he raised a big shield he carried as part of his costume that should protect him from Bakugo's explosions and prepared some concrete to defend himself.

However, Bakugo was powering on as he blasted the ground to flip over the annoying extra who'd tried to stop him and create a smoke covering his departure. He had bigger fish to fry today and was charging forward with Dupain-Cheng above him looking out for him just in case, the underlings on his had this loser covered so he could leave it to them.

"Handle this extra." Bakugo roared as he passed Awase.

"On it." Sero said as the smoke cleared to reveal Sero hanging in midair by the tape from his left elbow while holding Jiro around the waist under his right having carried her up to this level.

"Hope you like my Ultimate Move: Heartbeat Surround." Jiro said with a grin as she plugged her jacks into her speakers on the backs of her hands and detached them as Awase looked nervously at them.

This was the perfect situation for Class A and the worst for Awase who had no ranged combat capabilities as Jiro unleashed her heartbeat through the speakers as a powerful sonic attack from range. By this point Sero had put Jiro down and she kept up the attack as the shield shattered and was blown away from Awase, along with his support items and he staggered back from the intensity of Jiro's attack.

That was the opening Sero needed and in the brief moment that Jiro stopped her heartbeat attack he unleashed his tape and bound Awase from neck to ankle in seconds, pinning his hands to his side and capturing him. There was no way that he'd get out of this and with the pressure they had on the others, the only ones capable of cutting Sero's tape were too preoccupied to help out, so they'd secured the first of their 5 foes.

Tokage was shocked by this but before she could react she noticed that Bakugo had returned to going after Bondo now who wasn't fast enough to get away and this time had no ambush to lead Bakugo into. Things were unraveling fast, and she turned to send her hands and other parts of her body to help. That was of course when she forget that Marinette was still somewhere in this fight as she'd lost track of the other powerhouse on Class A's team.

Marinette had been following Bakugo from above and while she knew that he'd reach Bondo without an issue, this would cause damage to Tokage, so she wasn't going to pass up such an opportunity and she created a stun item for it. Said item turned out to be an automatic energy pistol thing that appeared in her hand as she swung through the air. With a grin, Marinette looked down and began firing at the pieces of Tokage that were trying to stop Bakugo from reaching Bondo.

All Marinette was doing was unloading a volley of energy blasts that could stun and while a lot missed, there were enough blasts and pieces of Tokage to ensure hits. Several pieces, the most important one being the back of Tokage's left hand were hit and downed as Marinette swung past them over head, firing the entire time she was able to.

"Damn, she's here." Tokage said as she fell back, recalling her right hand and other pieces and glad that Mizosa had suddenly appeared to the side to help out but still unable to adapt to how well Team Bakugo was working as a team. "Gotta fall back and rethink, hold on Bondo."

What she didn't realize was that this was when Sero started to put together things about her Quirk like that the pieces died over time, that she regenerated them on her body to replace them which was something she should be wary of if some parts of her died and were found by Mineta, and that it likely exhaust her to regenerate so she'd recall a few pieces to speed up her recovery and avoid over exerting herself.

They were all useful and he had an idea for how to sort it out, but he had to follow and help. As such all he did for the moment was trap some pieces with tape as he went to force Tokage to regenerate them when they died before returning to her body and biding his time for the moment.

Marinette for her part just kept swinging behind Bakugo as she saw him approach Bondo who was about to try and use his glue to help stop him. At the same time, Mizosa fired off another blast of water at Bakugo to try and pin him between two attacks and likely force Marinette to block one of them thus opening her up to Kamakiri where he was. Marinette just grinned as she dismissed her latest item and pushing her limits created another item to both save Bakugo from the water and get rid of the glue so that he had a clean shot on Bondo.

The item was another funnel with a tube that intercepted the water and let it travel through before it shot out the tube's end and into the glue that Bondo had launched at Bakugo to stop him faster than Mizosa could prevent it from happening. As such, the glue and water mixed and were carried away to the side as Bakugo passed through the clean air roaring about the cold and how it took him a while to warm up in the winter, but he was hot now as he unleashed a flurry of explosions on and around Bondo as he passed him by.

Bondo was battered and blinded by the explosions so that he didn't see Sato, still on the ground and running behind Bakugo to take up any slack Bakugo left him. Sato knew that Bondo was his and tackled him to the ground before pinning him in an arm lock while keeping away from Bondo's face where his glue came from and telling Bakugo that he had this guy under control so that Bakugo could keep powering forward.

The second member of Class B was out of the fight now and in moments Sero was on hand to bind Bondo's body and eye hole things so that he and Awase could be carried by Sato back to the prison whole the rest pressed their advantage on the three remaining opponents. All this got to Vlad who was shocked by the teamwork and reported as such over the sound system.

"Bakugo, Kamakiri is that way." Jiro yelled using her jack to point and Bakugo blasted off over there.

Kamakiri was there as he was angling for an attack on Marinette as he saw his opening to do so when she intercepted Mizosa's water for the second time. That was because Marinette had followed her defense of Bakugo up with a swing around the area and saw Mizosa using his water to swing around a large silo off to one side. She threw her yo-yo at it and lassoed the railing to reel herself in and swing around it as well but in the opposite direction so as to intercept him before he could defend himself.

All this had left her open to an attack from Kamakiri who thought he had a chance to slash her back open as she was distracted and had been switching items too frequently for even her stamina to handle for much longer. Course he'd just launched himself into a trap because Marinette had trusted Bakugo to have her back and lured Kamakiri to her as she swung at Mizosa while Jiro pinpointed Kamakiri's location. The blast of an explosion as Bakugo blasted behind her was enough to tell her that he was there just as she trusted him to be.

Kamakiri stood no chance as before he knew it Bakugo had grabbed his right mandible thing in his left hand, his right hand glowing to his side as he pushed Kamakiri back through the air. Then there was a massive explosion from Bakugo's right hand, and he began to spin rapidly in the air while still holding Kamakiri, his explosions adding to his speed before he ended them and used the momentum to toss Kamakiri away from him with one of his Ultimate Moves, X-Catapult, a variation of his Howitzer Impact move.

At the same time Marinette had swung down and around the silo to reach Mizosa who was swinging around and up on a tentacle of water trying to flee and regroup. All the potential transfer could do in this situation was look up wide eyed as Marinette fell down to him and slammed her feet into his chest from above. He didn't even get a chance to get any water off as the breath was driven from his lungs, along with a sickening crack from the impact, and he was blasted down to the ground, Marinette flipping up and off him to turn back to the fight.

Kamakiri slammed into the wall of a building at roughly with enough force to crater it and knock him senseless at the same time Mizosa hit the ground back first with the same level of force, his tank absorbing the impact and shattering but his head still hit the ground after it knocking him out to lay spread eagled in a puddle of water. He would be dragged away and bound in a moment but first Sero captured Kamakiri and bind him tightly as he fell and lowered him to the ground so that Sato, who'd just carried Awase and Bondo to the jail could do the same while Jiro went to secure Mizosa.

Then, Sero unleashed his plan to find and expose Tokage's position using his assumptions of what she was doing with her pieces and showing how smart Bakugo's forethought was. In addition to trapping several pieces of Tokage's body he let some return to her with one of the pieces now carrying the the small bomb Bakugo had given him at the start with it on a small piece of tape. It wasn't powerful and she likely would avoid it as she wasn't a recommended student for nothing, but it would reveal Tokage's position in the process and that was the key goal of it.

That was exactly what it did as it blew up right as it reached her, only her quick reflexes got her away as she floated her upper body around a large silo thing she was near to get clear. However, both Bakugo and Marinette had heard, and then seen the aftermath of, the explosion and rushed to it as Tokage fled from it. It was the former who reached her first, suspended in the air above her as she approached his glowing hands ready to unleash a point-blank Stun Grenade right into her face.

"You've got to be kidding me." Tokage yelled out. "How have you changed this much since the start of the…"

That was all she got out before Bakugo unleashed the explosion directly into her face, stunning her senseless. He then fell down to the ground, catching her upper body in his left hand and slowed his descent with his right to land and lay her down on it as she twitched and reformed, he turned his back to her but looking down at the vanquished recommended student out of the corner of his eye.

"I haven't changed, you lot have just been too blind to notice." Bakugo said as Marinette flipped down having finally reached them and landed in a crouch by Tokage while Bakugo spoke. "My goal has always been the same. I am going to surpass All Might and become the Number One hero. You hear that Dupain-Cheng, I'm going to be the top so don't think I haven't forgotten that deal you made with me. We will fight, just you and me with no holding back the moment we are allowed to do so. I will beat you to show this class that I'm the strongest."

Marinette had arrived in time to hear Bakugo's words to Tokage and then herself, but she kept kneeling as she held out her hand and created an item to properly capture Tokage just in case she recovered in time, but Marinette doubted that she'd manage that. There was a flash and a Tokage shaped iron maiden capture item appeared over her head and upper body though her lower half had yet to reform but it was all there. There were no openings but for a small mouth one for air and that was it, so she wasn't escaping from it. Only then did Marinette rise and look at Bakugo.

"You know, when I first came here I didn't get you at all, Bakugo." Marinette admitted but she'd finally figured him out so she could say this to him. "You struck me as arrogant, brash, selfish and a bully who could only do things your way, and while you are still all those things you aren't self-centered like who I used to compare you to."

Bakugo just grunted as he held her cool blue eyes with his red ones in a side glance. He didn't know where this was going but the match was over, he'd at least hear her out as she was one of the few in the class worth his time. He grunted again to signal that she could continue.

"But the more I see of you, the more I realize that you're driven to win at all costs, to be the best no matter what and you really showed it today, that is the sign of a true hero." Marinette said. "You even have your own way of showing that you're more than you appear. One of those ways is that you only use people's real names if they have either become your friend like Kirishima, or who pose an actual challenge to you. It's a sign that you acknowledge us as actual hurdles to overcome in your quest to surpass All Might and become the Number One hero."

"So, what of it?" Bakugo grunted, none of this was new to him and clearly it wasn't new to Dupain-Cheng. "You're one of them as you know so why bring it up."

"Yes, despite us never really talking you started to use my actual name as early as the Sports Festival after I showed that I could handle Todoroki and let's be honest, I lost that match myself he didn't win it, and I would have given you one hell of a final." Marinette said and Bakugo just grunted in agreement with that, the icy-hot bastard had humiliated him for sure. "So, I know how seriously you take me. That's why I will respond to your challenge with all I have, I won't dishonor the rare respect you've shown me Bakugo. The moment we can have sanctioned fights, I'll volunteer to face you right away and give it my all with my body and my Quirk to beat you. If you want to be number one then you're going to have to go through me because we both know who the class sees as better between us."

"Good, you're just as strong as I knew you would be Dupain-Cheng." Bakugo said. "Keep that fire for me, I'll best you and show the extras I'm better than even you are and then no one can doubt me in the class. Now go and help the others, I'll take Sharp Teeth back myself, I beat her so I get the honors, but I'll thank Tape Arms for his assistance with it."

Marinette just nodded as she turned and left to help the others, though they were already sorting them out. It had been one hell of a match and as Vlad was moaning that it was a shame and horror to him he wasn't wrong. The match hadn't even lasted 5 minutes by the time Bakugo had dumped Tokage in the prison and Marinette dismissed her charm, the boys were all bound neck to foot in thick tape with more over Bondo's eye hole things to avoid him using his Quirk.

"Thanks to near perfect teamwork, Class A's Team Bakugo wins with the days first perfect score of 5 to 0." Vlad wailed as they all made their way back to the rest of the class high fiving and grinning as they did.

"That was even more coordinated than I expected." Adrien said as one of the teams returned fully healthy for the first time and could actually get a feedback though the droids were needed to help the other team out as Mizosa was unconscious and in need of Recovery Girl from the sound of it. "Even with the structure, I expected it to last a bit longer."

During the brief match, the classes and Shinso had been watching in amazement at what happened in it. They watched Bakugo save Jiro, albeit by kicking her, and the breakdown that Monoma had had at Bakugo's development, which was supported by Kirishima and Kaminari as just who he was though being in the band seemed to have really helped him get used to working as part of a team.

Regardless, it was clear that he'd trusted his team so that he didn't have to do it alone and they in turn trusted him while Marinette didn't clash with him for leadership of it. It was an unreal sight, and they were welcomed back with cheers the moment they got to the observation area.

"Good job, you didn't do any unnecessary damage other than one hole in a silo that Dupain-Cheng left which was well withing expectations and you neutralized your opponents swiftly, safely, and efficiently." Aizawa said to the team as he gave them a thumbs up upon returning as the feedback for this match was going to be quick and easy. "Bakugo may have taken the lead but you four supported him, even Dupain-Cheng despite her being a potential team leader as well. That was solid work and the right thing to do to avoid any issues. Good win and great job today, that's all the feedback you need though Dupain-Cheng will get some for her first match at the end of the day."

"Of course, sir, I expect a lot as I could have done better in that one." Marinette said with a small bow before joining her second batch of teammates as they returned to join their class after their win.

"Given what you knew about the other team you four did come up with a solid strategy that in theory should have given you an edge." Vlad was saying to his four students, Mizosa was a bit more injured and had been taken to the Nurse's Office but would get his own feedback and initial transfer assessment later, at the same time as Aizawa was giving his own feedback though he was clearly frustrated with the loss. "But you were too stuck on it, you didn't factor in the chance that Bakugo had actually developed into a team player or that Dupain-Cheng wouldn't challenge his leadership. You needed to be more flexible like Honenuki. Your actions were fine, same with Mizosa, but you failed to adapt when it became clear that they could actually work together."

"I'm sorry that I made our team look lame, it was my plan, my leadership, so my fault that we lost." Tokage said turning to the boys and bowing slightly to them. "I failed."

"No, this failure is on all of us." Kamakiri said as they protested Tokage taking all the blame for it. "Let's carve this loss into our hearts and learn from it, aright."

"Yeah that's what we should do." Bondo said. "We failed as a team; this isn't all on you Setsuna."

"I mean if a monster like Bakugo can turn into a team player then there was no weakness for us to exploit on that front." Awase said. "Add in that Dupain-Cheng didn't clash with him but actually willingly let him take charge and even that potential avenue was cut off to us. We can't blame ourselves for things we didn't see coming and it was on all of us to adapt to it, not just you Tokage."

"Alas that is true." Kamakiri said. "We can't beat ourselves up because a sound plan failed like that. We've just got to learn to be more flexible and adapt to sudden changes to expectations in battle."

"I agree." Bondo said. "This is on all of us, and we will get better."

"Thanks guys." Tokage said with a smile though she was still in her bow. "I needed that."

"See, Kacchan, you can play with others when you want to." Kaminari said coming up to them and getting away with using Midoriya's nickname for Bakugo again. "And Jiro, you were a total heroine out there, real MVP for them."

"I'm a hero, Princess." Jiro said bluntly as she used Kaminari's nickname from the Sports Festival to drive her point home.

"Come on now Kyoka, it's the same thing in the long run and shows that we are different from the boys." Marinette said throwing her arm around her friends shoulder. "Us ladies gotta stick together and embrace it. We are heroines who the guys will look up to."

"Well, when you put it that way." Jiro said with a smile, Marinette always seemed to know what to say about something like this though she was certainly more willing to embrace the heroine label than Jiro was. "We can show the boys a thing or two."

"That's the spirit." Marinette said with grin. "And we're going to celebrate tonight, that win ensured our class has won the exercise. I've got to bake something extra special for it."

"I'll help, Dupain-Cheng." Sato said eager to learn more from the class's baking master while Jiro just looked forward to the idea of Marinette's baked goods, those were really something else.

"I appreciate that Sato, thank you." Marinette said with a smile. "Together we can make more faster and I can assess your latest progress, not that you need much assessment these days."

"And it's all thanks to our resident delinquent taking in the strays." Sero said grinning at Bakugo while Sato smiled at the praise from his baking sensei.

"Not a stray dude." Jiro said annoyed again. "And we had Marinette on our team, she's the alpha wolf of the girls in the class so no way is she a stray."

"This time I'll agree with you." Marinette said as they stopped in front of All Might.

"You gave me chills." All Might said smiling at all of them. "Well done."

Bakugo just tisked at that and walked away. Marinette removed her arm from Kyoka's shoulders and watched as he had an exchange with Midoriya that was normal but not as vitriolic as usual. That was a good sign as it would really push Midoriya for the next and final match.

It was clear that the final match was going to be a good one as Monoma was fully cracked now and Midoriya pumped for it. Still, Tokage approached him and still in her bow she apologized for her failure again as now they had no hope of even ensuring a tie with Class A in the exercise.

"You don't need to apologize dear Tokage." Monoma said dismissively. "Our immature compatriot reflected on his actions and evolved; it is truly a marvelous thing to witness. While it is true that Class B can't win anymore, and we have actually lost, we will still claim a victory in the last match."

"How?" Shoda, one of his teammates for the final match asked as Tokage walked away to get comforted by the rest of her class on her loss.

"The people will see that we're hard-working students who never cause an ounce of trouble, that will prove our point to the reprobates in Class A." Monoma explained with a laugh. "They get all the undeserved attention because of their disasters so I ask you all, who is on the better path? Everyone is a side character in other people's stories, but we are each the protagonist of our own lives, hahahaha."

"He's completely cracked." Marinette asked as she approached Adrien as Yanagi killed Monoma's vibe by asking what their plan was for the match. "And now you have to face him."

"Yes but it will be a good match." Adrien said smiling at his love before he put his mask on. "Now watch bugaboo, it's time we win the final match and really stamp home who is the best class today."

With that Adrien went to join Izuku, Ochaco, Mina, and Mineta as they prepared for the final match of the day as Marinette smiled in agreement at that statement from her boyfriend. The other matches had been interesting with mixed results, the latest being the fastest and most efficient of all the matches so far. Now it was time for the final match of the day, how could this top the others? Only time would tell what was in store for the Hero Course as the final match of joint training exercise was about to begin.

Well, there it is, the fourth match is in the books, and it was as fast as expected with Marinette showing that she could follow as well as lead by playing to Bakugo's plan and lending her aid to the battle where needed. To anyone wondering, this will be the last anyone sees of Mizosa for a while and as an OC I still haven't decided his transfer fate. Regardless, he won't return until the same time that Shinso returns at the earliest and those who know the manga will know when that will be and how much more there is before then. Next up is the final battle and all that that will entail, along with how Adrien's presence in it changes things, so still plenty to look forward to next week. Other than that, there really isn't much to say on this chapter, it was straightforward like the show and unlike the other ones it actually allowed for some feedback so when the feedback chapter comes this match won't be featured as it's already done. Anyway, that is all I have for y'all so I will leave this chapter off here. As always, if you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads.
