Here it is, the ninety-ninth full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released on the right day as promised. Thanks to there being a prologue this is technically the 100th entry in the series despite being the 99th actual chapter so for the second time in as many weeks I've reached a milestone I never expected back when I first tried my hand at writing back in 2010 so thank you to all those who have supported me to get to this point, it is that support that has helped ensure that Miraculous Quirks has reached this milestone and many more to come, I am sure of it though the next major milestone is still about 6-7 chapters away based on my average word count per chapter and probably longer as I'm not expecting the next few chapters to be as long as the ones in this arc. As for this chapter, well it is time for the feedback for those who've not received it so we can wrap up the Joint Training arc with a nice neat little bow with this and one more final wrap up chapter after this to fully end the arc. That is all the administrative stuff I have for now though and as there are no review questions to answer or guest reviews to respond to I will end this note here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all. Now, though, it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 99th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.

Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.

Chapter 99: Feedback

"With Yanagi, Shoda, and Agreste currently being treated, we'll start with the feedback for the first teams of the day." Aizawa said, he wanted to start with the latest one given what Midoriya just did but he felt it best to wait for the end with three of that match currently being tended to by Recovery Girl and then they could give the assessment on Shinso at least when both classes were present. "Vlad and I will handle these separately until we address part of the final match so get back into your teams and then report to us for feedback unless you've already had your feedback then you can just wait until the others are done."

The joint training exercise had ended with Class A winning 4 of the 5 matches while the third match had ended in a tie, and now it was time for the feedback for all except the fourth match teams. That was because in every other match at least two members of Class B had been rendered unconscious and injured to the point of needing healing during the match preventing them from getting feedback. Only two of Class A, Yaoyorozu and Todoroki, had been knocked unconscious by Class B, Adrien had passed out because of overuse of Cataclysm, while Ojiro and Ida had been injured and needed healing.

Only the 4th match had not had anyone knocked out for long enough to need healing, though Tokage would need to be checked over due to her burns and Kamakiri had some serious bruises on his back that he'd have to at least ice after they were dismissed, so they'd gotten their feedback right after their quick match. The one exception was the transfer applicant Mizosa who had been knocked out by Marinette and was still being treated, he'd get his feedback and evaluations separately as this was a transfer test for him, so now it was time to get the feedbacks on the other matches.

Thus, the members of each first match went to their teachers. For Class A that meant that it was Marinette, Koda, Tsu, Kaminari, and Kirishima who went over to the corner to get their feedback from Mr. Aizawa while Class B's team of Shiozaki, Shishida, Tsuburaba, Rin, and Shinso as their additional member went to see him for their own feedback.

"Right first off well done on winning that despite a quick start from Class B taking out two of your members with little difficulty." Mr. Aizawa said as they stood in a line before him with Marinette in the middle as she was the team's leader. "However, before we go over what you did right, let's start with what you did wrong and where you can improve. Dupain-Cheng, you were the clear team leader so you can start by assessing your mistakes. What were they?"

"I relied too much on my initial plan to work and didn't prepare any contingencies or other plans to deal with the other class's personalities or covering for an early loss." Marinette said simply. "I assessed that their threats were Shinso, Shishida, and Shiozaki but I didn't factor in how their styles would mesh, especially the last two. I should have expected Shiozaki's strict beliefs to cause friction and either exploited it or had Koda find her at the start so that I could go deal with her right away."

"That would have been a good idea and it's on your team to support you with suggestions to help there." Aizawa said looking at the others who all looked nervous at that as they had made the mistake of relying too much on Marinette in the match. "I understand that you all hold Dupain-Cheng in high esteem for her leadership and combat skills, both of which are well earned, but that doesn't make her flawless or above questioning. To flesh out a team you should be able to add suggestions like how the second team worked. Still, deferring to her from the start was a sensible idea and her Quirk and knowledge of Shinso's Quirk was essential in that match. However, what other mistake did you make?"

"I went off on my own as a scout rather than rely on Koda's Anivoice for it when it could have accomplished the same thing without splitting the team up early or staying back to deal with Shishida." Marinette said. "I should have been there to fight him with Kirishima and because of my decision to go off at the front we lost two members right away which seriously hindered our scouting and close combat abilities."

"Not being there was actually wise as I suspect their goal was to overwhelm you right at the start so by not finding you ensured that you were still in the fight, using Asui's mucus which no one in the match knew of to throw off Shishida's nose was a clever ruse that helped your team so well done there." Aizawa said. "But yes, you went off too far on your own without any knowledge of where they were and that did cost you. That was your big mistake Dupain-Cheng, learn from it."

"I will sir." Marinette said seriously understanding where she needed to improve in terms of leadership. "Thank you."

"I expect no less from you." Aizawa said before turning to the rest of the team. "Now, Kirishima, Koda, you two made mistakes that led to your captures. What were they?"

"I didn't engage Shishida in a brawl, the setting wasn't conducive to that." Kirishima said lowering his head in shame as he spoke of his mistakes. "So, while I was able to assist Koda, when Shishida got past us with his Ultimate Move he had the advantage."

"And I need to be faster and clearer with my commands to bugs." Koda said in a quiet voice, nervously twiddling his fingers as he spoke. "And I should have spoken up to suggest finding Shiozaki."

"Koda, that is spot on, so you know what to work on and I expect you to do it." Aizawa said as Koda nodded at that. "Kirishima, just because the setting isn't conducive to brawl in doesn't prevent it from happening. You are a Hero Course student, when you are in such a situation you have to set up your own brawls to take advantage of your strengths. Kendo in match 2 and Tetsutetsu in match 3 both showed it."

"I understand, I'll learn from that sir." Kirishima said seriously as he slammed his fists together and lowered his head more. "I won't let you down."

"Well, I was perfect." Kaminari said smiling and oblivious to the glare he was getting from Aizawa. "A big assistance in why we won."

"Kaminari, if I could fail you for this exercise I would." Aizawa said taking the wind out of his sails right away. "You got captured in an air prison before you could do anything and then when Dupain-Cheng trusted you to handle Shinso you fell for his trap despite knowing to not respond if you heard Japanese. You have a lot to learn from this exercise, so I expect you to study twice as hard."

"Yes sir." Kaminari said dejectedly.

"Good, now onto your successes that led to your win." Aizawa said though his tone didn't change. "The main one was that you had a clear leader who had a clear plan from the start. Lucky Charm is a strong Quirk to have on your team, but I am glad to see that Dupain-Cheng used it right in the match and didn't rely on it. Rather she used it to take out the biggest threat in Shinso's Brainwashing. That was another wise move, you didn't let his inexperience or the fact that he's not in the Hero Course bias your assumptions of his abilities. You treated him as a serious threat just as you should. I take it your preparation for and actions during the Sports Festival are why Dupain-Cheng?"

"Correct sir." Marinette said with a nod. "As soon as he challenged us I knew that he had to have confidence in his Quirk's strength and potential but that it had to be something that was hard to evaluate in a normal exam so I looked at the register and learned of Brainwashing and what it could do. From there it was a matter of adding him to my team when he made the Cavalry Battle, a feat that showed his potential as only two non-Hero Course students made it that far, and using his status and Quirk to our advantage. When he showed up today I knew that if I faced him in battle I would have to be prepared and so I focused my goal on countering his Quirk at the start."

"As I would expect, a sensible strategy from someone with your experience and the use of a translator item was the best as you were able to remain in decent communication and give orders in your native French that prevented Shinso from mimicking it." Aizawa said. "That allowed you to help out and you showed your Quirkless combat training, something that will be incorporated into hero training next semester for all of you, to even the score after your first failure. From there you controlled everything well, knew to swap items and faced Shiozaki as the only one who could properly counter her vines. Well done."

"Thank you sir." Marinette said pleased at the praise but not showing it as that would be improper and she had made mistakes that she needed to learn from.

"Lastly, Asui, you didn't make many major mistakes and were a strong support for your team that helped hold things together." Aizawa said turning to her. "You put faith in your team and they in you which paid off and you didn't let anything fool you. Overall, you were the best in the team due to lack of mistakes."

"Thank you, ribbit." Tsu said with a smile.

"You were a solid team that still has a lot of improvements to make, but you did win it." Mr. Aizawa said. "So, learn from the mistakes and grow as heroes. That's all, send over the second team as Agreste should be back by now."

They nodded and walked off, Marinette waving at Momo who had gathered her team glad to see Adrien was back with them, though he did look a little pale and drained, to let them know that they had to head over. Then she and the others headed over to where Sero, Sato, and Jiro were chilling as the only ones, along with Bakugo who was for some reason talking to All Might at the other side of the platform, that didn't need to have feedback. They'd gotten theirs and were now able to relax a bit while the rest of their class got their own feedback.

"First off, Agreste." Aizawa said as Team 2 formed a line before him with Yaoyorozu in the center and Agreste to her right and Aizawa noted that he was clearly not fully healed. "How are you feeling after that last match? I recall what happened during your work study, I am glad to see that your recovery is faster now, but you are clearly still low on energy."

"Recovery Girl helped but I'm going to have to see her again tomorrow for another checkup." Adrien said his voice a little weak and slightly slower than normal. "And I can't really feel my Quirk at the moment, I went past my limits today as I should at U.A. but because I'd done it before I can recover faster and will be able to grow from it. However, Recovery Girl did say that I have to take about 48 hours before I can use Cataclysm normally again and I need to eat a lot of protein after this along with increasing my stamina training."

"I'll make sure you get the food you need, and we will talk about that last move when we deal with the 5th match but that is for later." Aizawa said now glad that they were going to discuss that match last because between Agreste's growth of his Quirk and whatever the hell had happened with Midoriya that one was probably going to take a while. "Now onto the second match. First off, Yaoyorozu."

"Sir." Momo said seriously.

"You've grown a lot since the Sports Festival where you faced your first true hurdle to becoming a hero and that match showed it." Aizawa said. "You planned pretty well for most potential outcomes that you might face against that team, were prepared to sacrifice yourself but not needlessly when the time came with items to benefit your team, and you understood the true nature of your team. All that said, care to enlighten me about when you learnt French?"

"Oh, um, well I started learning after the USJ and with my memory and language skills it wasn't too hard to at least learn the vocab and grammar as that was just simple memorization which I'm good at." Momo said a little taken aback by the question at the end of the praise she'd just received. "Then I approached Marinette before the Sports Festival because I had to ask for her approval to train with Adrien, it was the proper thing to do, and in the process I revealed to her that I'd been learning her native language. She helped me a lot with pronunciation as I was speaking it how I'd speak English."

"Mademoiselle, please never do zat." Aoyama said aghast by what she'd said. "To pollute ze language of love like zat, how terrible."

"Not now Aoyama," Aizawa said with a glare at him causing the boy to shut up right away. "And your feedback will be coming in a moment, better focus on that."

"Oui sir." Aoyama said nervously before Aizawa looked back to Yaoyorozu to get her to continue.

"Right, well I spoke with Marinette about it, and she helped me get the pronunciation better and then I improved my skills by speaking it with her and Adrien so that I reached the level of proficient in the language." Momo said. "It was this that got Mage's attention for a work study offer with the Guardian Agency and through him I've started to learn Russian as well as he needed additional support in the team that handled that language at the agency. It just never came up to really let on that I could speak it until today."

"I see, well that is fair, and you employed it correctly in this situation and didn't hide it from your team while ensuring it was a surprise for the other one, so you acted accordingly." Aizawa said and Momo was glad he didn't question her partial truth about how she earned her work study offer as she couldn't really give away the real reason. "And that work study showed you how Agreste was a leader I take it hence why he was the real leader not you, right?"

"Correct sir." Momo said though it was more just knowing him and Marinette so well that she'd been able to deduce that Adrien was that good, well that and the early stuff she'd seen from him had set his bar high in her eyes especially after he rescued her, Jiro, and Kaminari at the USJ. "I knew that Adrien was as good as Marinette in that regard and that they'd underestimate him and come for me, though he was the one who predicted that Kendo would let her personal feelings get the better of her judgement. I just had to play my part and aid my team, the tracker was the key to it, and it allowed Adrien to come to my rescue when I lost to Kendo."

"Yes that was clever though Agreste, why didn't you end Mizosa sooner?" Aizawa asked. "You're Quirk and combat skills can counter him well as you showed at the end but at the start you let him toy with you and that meant you couldn't aid until Yaoyorozu went down. Your actions paid off and this isn't a mistake I am just curious as to why you made such a choice in the match."

"I was saving Cataclysm for when I needed it." Adrien said simply. "I am well aware of the limitations of my Quirk despite passing out from surpassing them earlier, that was more what I did was a lot more concentrated than I'd done before which sapped me faster and I need to work on it more, so I know that I have to use it sparingly in a battle. If it is a quick on and off thing I would use it but with Mizosa's Quirk and how it works I realized that unless I either hit the tank, tubes, or water near the source like I did at the end of the match he'd just be able to detach what I was destroying and still have more to use so I opted to try and subdue him without my Quirk. He proved efficient enough in combat to hold me off though."

"I expected that was your strategy, that was a sensible decision." Aizawa said with a small nod of his head. "It allowed you to attack later though that level of destruction was unexpected and will take a while to repair."

"Sorry sir." Adrien said. "I had to remove all shadows to keep Kuroiro there and maintain it to prevent Komori's spores from landing on solid ground thus causing issues for me as I can't directly destroy them with Cataclysm."

"It was the right move given what you were facing at the time, so I won't fault you for it and you have shown considerable improvement in controlling your destructive Quirk." Aizawa said. "And you worked with Yaoyorozu to lead the team and took over after she was bested which showed your own leadership skills. Now, the other mistakes that were made, any guesses?"

"I should have created items from the start to counter Komori's mushrooms and to be able to hold Kuroiro when I initially captured him." Momo said. "I underestimated the former's range and overall nature of her Quirk and that cost us a bit while Kuroiro was simply an oversight I shouldn't have made. I don't regret how I handled Kendo though other than scaring her with the canon, in a hand-to-hand brawl she's better than me so I held her off and startled her long enough to allow for the creation of my grab bag and then present an opening to fire it off to assist the others."

"You were backed into a corner by her, in this match Kendo did out think you early on but your plan to pass the leadership to Agreste was the long-term success of this team, without his support you probably would have lost in the end." Aizawa said. "So, you handled that situation correctly in this battle but against a real villain that may be tougher. Learn to handle close combat be it with your Quirk or without, the latter will be taught next semester by Mage and his assistant so pay close attention to those lessons. That is where you need to improve."

"Yes sir." Yaoyorozu said with a nod.

"Now the rest of you." Aizawa said looking at Hagakure, Tokoyami, and Aoyama. "What were your mistakes?"

"I let myself get startled the second time and didn't counter Kuroiro on my own." Aoyama admitted with a sigh of shame in his accented voice. "It's how I was captured."

"I panicked too much with the mushrooms, didn't finish Fukidashi off fast enough the first time to prevent Kendo from grabbing me while relying on the others too much." Hagakure admitted having thought hard on her own flaws. "Had it not been for Agreste, I would have been captured by Kendo and he was the one who led us to victory after they turned the tables on us."

"I messed up with Komori." Tokoyami said seriously. "I wasn't harsh enough with her, I went for a capture of her and Kuroiro when I should have rendered her unconscious with Dark Shadow. I didn't foresee that she could create spores that would affect my lungs and lost because of it despite having both her and Kuroiro captured at the time. I also let Kuroiro get into my head and played into his schemes."

"Aoyama, you're spot on so learn to avoid that in the future." Aizawa said pleased with their self-reflections as it showed their growth over the year. "Hagakure, I'll come back to you as you were one of the two who wasn't either captured or knocked out of this match, Tokoyami you're assessment is accurate as I'd expect. You're biggest mistake was not knocking out Komori in that match, she posed the biggest threat to your team with her versatility and range so knocking her unconscious was the prudent strategy. In battle, knocking a foe out is the best way to do subdue them. As brutal as it was, the experience of Agreste in this match showed as he knocked out 4 of the other team without hesitation."

"Yes sir." Tokoyami said bowing his head in acknowledgement of his flaws and vowing to himself to improve on them. "I have learned a great lesson today from my failures."

"That is the point of class so grow from this." Aizawa said. "As you all saw in several matches and even felt it in this with how Kendo knocked out Yaoyorozu, you have to be a little brutal in your approach to defeating villains. Class is different than the field, but you need to learn not to hold back here so that you don't hold back out there. That said, you do also need to learn control and moderation with it."

"Yes sir." They all said in unison.

"Good now Hagakure." Aizawa said turning to her. "You assessed yourself well if a little harsher than needs be. Yes, you panicked early with Komori's Quirk exposing your body thus rendering your primary skill useless, and you should have knocked out Fukidashi the first time, but you will improve on that front and showed it the second time when Agreste tossed you at him and trusted you to do your job. You had his trust and you trusted him in return as a team should which is why you were able to win in the end, relying on a team is key and with your skills you need to so don't feel bad that you had to be helped by him."

"Yeah, without you keeping an eye on them I wouldn't have been able to feel comfortable handling the other two the way I did." Adrien said. "You allowed me to properly deal with Komori and Kuroiro without the need to worry about the other two causing problems which helped in the long run. I needed your aid to ensure we won Hagakure."

"Th, thank you." Toru said grateful for the kind words.

"You all understand where you went wrong and how to improve." Aizawa said. "You won but of all the wins today this was the one that was the toughest for our class and your team relied too much on Agreste for it, without him you would have lost it. Grow from this and get better."

"Yes sir." All of them said again.

"Alright, you're dismissed from the feedback." Aizawa said ending the second team's feedback. "Send over the third team."

They all nodded and left, signaling to Ida that it was his team's turn before they went either to join the others who had gotten their feedback already or in Adrien's case to join his other team for their feedback and let them know he was ok after passing out right at the end of their match. It had been as expected, their team was the worst of the day and they all really needed to improve from it.

"Alright team 3." Aizawa said as the 4-man team of Ida, Todoroki, Shoji, and Ojiro stood before him as the only team in the class that hadn't won their match though at least they hadn't lost, and the tie was because Tsunotori knew that she wouldn't win but he'd get into that in a moment. "What was your biggest mistake that you made today?"

"I used my ice rather than my fire in my opening attack." Todoroki said seriously, it had been something he'd been dwelling on since he was revived by Recovery Girl as it was something Honenuki had pointed out in their match as a mistake that Todoroki had made. "I've come to realize that it's so ingrained into me to use my ice to start and only use fire when I need to that it's become predictable. I need to deal with this and learn to mix it up more when the situation and opponents call for different tactics as it did today."

"Correct, you should have hit them with your fire." Aizawa said seriously. "That would have taken out at least one of them though as Tetsutetsu proved he would be able to handle it and Honenuki could probably avoid it though his other counter wouldn't be applicable to fire hence why you should have used fire. You also failed to factor in your opposing team's leader and how he thought in battle, in addition to his Quirk."

"Yes sir, I realized that afterwards." Todoroki said. "He could soften my ice as it is a solid, so I was just giving him something to work with there. In addition, the Quirks the other 3 had actually could break my ice if given the time, so it really was a bad choice from the start."

"Exactly though that is the responsibility of the team leader to understand and adapt before you strike and as you weren't the leader here that fault doesn't lie with you." Aizawa said looking at Ida who'd been the de facto leader of the match. "Ida, you should have planned for Honenuki and adjusted your strategy to what he could do. You're initial plan to search with Shoji, then confront them with Todoroki's power once Tetsutetsu let you know where they were and staying in the shadows to attack was good but your didn't adapt it for your opponents and their Quirks. Fire was better than ice with Honenuki out there."

"Yes, I failed in my duty there." Ida said seriously. "I wasn't assertive enough to tell Todoroki what to do and it cost us thanks to Mudman's Quirk."

"Good, that was the biggest mistake you made as a team." Aizawa said. "After that you adjusted well to the situation. You're newly improved speed and time limit forced Honenuki away which freed you up to aid Ojiro when he needed it the most and rescue Todoroki at the end, even going as far as to make sure he was safe despite it meaning being trapped by that silo that Honenuki and Tetsutetsu dropped on you. You prioritized capture and rescue; you've grown a lot since your internship Ida."

"Thank you sir." Ida said smiling at that as he had a feeling Aizawa knew more about Hosu than he'd ever let on, so he understood what his teacher was getting up. "I have grown thanks to my classmates and the lessons they've taught me. I will continue to do so in order to become a hero that my brother can be proud of, that is worthy of the name Ingenium."

"I know you will." Aizawa said with a nod. "As for the rest of the battle, it was pretty ordinary really outside the big confrontations and mistake your team made. Ojiro, you need to strengthen your martial arts to be able to handle someone like Kaibara though you did well to hold him off long enough for support to come ensuring his capture and you assisted Shoji well despite Tsunotori capturing you in the end. Shoji, you handled yourself well there and dealt with Tsunotori as best you could and forced her to take the actions she did at the end. Todoroki, despite the start, you didn't hold back with Tetsutetsu and made sure to send Shoji after Tsunotori to ensure you had the battle clear which was smart."

"Thank you sir." They all said in unison.

"Other than that, things really could have gone anyway in this match." Aizawa said. "Ida, you still need to get faster carrying someone who can be a handful as Kaibara did slow you down but other than that you did well. It was clear at the end that Tsunotori did what she did to force the tie. Had she not gone high you would have won as Shoji would have caught her before she could put Todoroki in prison."

"Yes sir." They all said again glad that there wasn't more to say about their tie.

"Good now go back and send over the final team." Aizawa said. "And get together with the rest of the class for a general debrief once team 5's combined debrief is over."

They nodded and left signaling to Midoriya and his team that it was their turn. This was the one that Aizawa had been waiting for as it was the most unusual of the battles and as soon as the final team was in front of him he knew what he wanted to address but with the other feedbacks in the book he decided to focus on Agreste for the moment.

"I know you know what I'm going to ask but I'll wait on that and deal with the rest of the match first." Aizawa said. "As once that happened you adapted well and after it was over you won with ease. So, first off, Agreste, back to you again, that improvement in your Quirk, explain."

"Sir, ever since I finally understood how Cataclysm really worked after seeing the issues with it during Togata's challenge to us and focusing on it while preparing for the raid I realized that there was more to it than just the energy I create." Adrien said. "It's a part of me as much as everything else is, it's my own energy in a sense, so I can exert full control it to bend it to my will. I've done it a few times where I kept it to certain areas or moved it from one thing to another to destroy more with it, but it wasn't until recently that I've begun to adapt it to create more dense, concentrated, forms of it."

"Like what you did in both matches today." Aizawa said as he began to understand. "How does that work with Cataclysm?"

"So long as it is still connected to my body, I can manipulate it into a more corporeal, dense, form like that cloak or the blades I made in the second match." Adrien explained. "It's faster acting because it's my power concentrated in its strongest form and will fully destroy what it touches but the trade off is that it saps my stamina a lot faster than just infusing it and then controlling what it does though that too is faster than simple inducement without control like I did at the start of the year. I went through a full suite of protein tubes in that brief exchange at the end and even then I had at most a minute left with it when I deactivated it to strike Shoda and Yanagi."

"I see." Aizawa said getting it and not showing it, but it was clear that Cataclysm was a lot more than it seemed which made Agreste even stronger than he already was. "It is powerful, but we've all known how strong Cataclysm can be. I am glad to see that you've gotten a lot more control over it, it will come in handy."

"Thank you sir." Adrien said.

"Alright with that out of the way and the rest of the match being pretty straightforward with good teamwork, decisions, and captures." Aizawa said. "You adapted to a strange situation and used it to your advantage to set up a situation that was beneficial. Uraraka, I'll address what you did with the other team as that whole situation will require both teams."

"Yes sir." Ochaco said with a nod as it was obvious that whatever was up with Deku and the actions taken to control it was done by both teams.

"Ashido, Mineta, you two worked well with Agreste and ensured you won." Aizawa said. "There were some small things but as I didn't see most of it I need to review the footage first and then you will get some more specific feedback."

They both nodded at this without words as there wasn't much to say. Mina had her own thoughts on something, but she was going to wait until the end to voice them as it wasn't really to do with their performance. It was rater Mineta's perverted actions that had to be addressed so should be dealt with at the proper time.

"We have a moment as Vlad is finishing up before we go over the main thing from that battle with all 10 of you because of how Shinso played a part in it." Aizawa continued as he looked at Midoriya who wasn't speaking and clearly in thought about all that had gone down in his match. "So, for the moment just wait here but when the other team gets here we will go over what was up with Midoriya in that match."

As all this was happening, Class B, and Shinso where applicable, were getting their own feedbacks from their teacher. Theirs were going to be a different as they didn't win any of their matches and Vlad's pride in his class and competitiveness was such that it was hard on him to see his dear class so utterly crushed by Class A.

"Right, you're biggest mistake was made right at the start." Vlad said as he looked at the first team of Shishida, Shiozaki, Rin, Tsuburaba, and Shinso that stood before him. "You didn't decide on a clear leader between Shiozaki and Shishida and that cost you in the long run. Rather than stick with one leader and work around what he or she brought to the table you couldn't decide and that cost you despite a strong start."

"Sorry sir." Shishida said seriously. "It was my fault that we didn't have clarity at the start. I thought I had a good plan, but I knew that Shiozaki wouldn't go for it so deceived her so that we could execute my plan and that caused a rift."

"Correct, deception is sinful." Shiozaki said her voice a little muffled as she had a cast over her recently healed nose that she'd have to wear for another day or two at least. "How could we do something so impure. I will punish you later, Apocabeast."

"Working with your team and their personalities is important in the field." Vlad said interrupting any potential argument. "You should have factored in Shiozaki's views and unshakable convictions into your plan and worked around it. Shiozaki, you do need to learn to adapt a bit."

"It is a sin against my faith to be deceitful, I will pray for all the sinful deception that I saw today." Shiozaki said. "I shall not deviate from the Lord's will."

"Er…" Vlad said he was still a little unsure how to deal with his evangelical student. "In that case you should have taken charge so as to come up with the plan, or at least Shishida should have worked with you rather than against you."

"In future I will strive to do so in order to lead my classmates into the light of the Lord." Shiozaki said closing her eyes and clasping her hands in front of her as she bowed her head in prayer while Vlad just sighed, this extreme level of belief might be an issue for her in the future, but it was clear nothing he said was going to change her convictions which was at least a testament to her faith. "I failed this time, and we didn't win because of it."

"Learn from the mistakes that you all made." Vlad said looking at them. "Using Shiozaki as a distraction isn't a bad idea, she's a threat to the other team and they treated her as such, but you should have tried to use her from the front with Shishida and Shinso."

"Sir?" Rin asked confused.

"Your plan was a good one and would have worked against most teams but at the start you did the right thing by identifying the biggest threat to your team in the match and then didn't do more to counter it." Vlad said. "You correctly assessed that Dupain-Cheng was the strongest on the other team and understood her leadership skills. However, you failed to exploit one of the few avenues you have against her Quirk. No Quirk is all powerful, there is always a way to beat it if you use your brains. As strong as Lucky Charm is, and yes it is probably the strongest Quirk in the entire Hero Course at U.A. when all things are considered with only Manifest really challenging it, there are ways to defeat it."

"Multiple people." Shishida said as he realized the mistake he'd made. "If we'd all tried to converge on her, or at least sent myself and Shiozaki directly at her with Shinso and the others hidden and ready to act we could have overwhelmed her. Lucky Charm can only overcome the goal in her mind, if she has to face multiple ones then she's going to struggle just like she struggles against extreme speed and power such as Todoroki's ice in the Sports Festival. I am sorry, I take full fault for this oversight."

"All of you should have seen it, that is what it means to be in the Hero Course." Vlad said simply, a fact that really sunk in with Shinso as he wasn't in the course, but it showed another expectation of those in it. "But yes, that was the best strategy. Dupain-Cheng assessed your team's strongest as Shinso and treated him as a legit threat so her item at the start was to counter him. If you'd had a plan for what she might use against all 5 of you then you could have seen it and between Shishida and Shiozaki taking her on two on one she'd either have to fight without her Quirk or change it to counter Shiozaki which would have opened Shinso up to use his Quirk. That was the best strategy."

"Yes sir." The four in Class B said in unison understanding where they'd messed up.

"I am sorry, my inexperience showed there." Shinso said to the others. "I had been on a team with her, but I didn't truly understand how Lucky Charm worked when applied to such a setting."

"It is on all of us for not seeing it." Shishida said shaking his head. "I know that I was blinded by the Sports Festival and how she lost to Todoroki. That was our only point of loss for her, and he showed speed as a weakness of hers so I figured speed and surprise could work but she used Asui's mucus to deceive my nose and so I acted on what I was facing and forgot about her in that moment. I also messed up in not knocking her out when I had the chance and not fleeing when I should have. I was too eager to test my strength against her and figured I had it on her, but she showed me that she could fight without her Quirk and beat me."

"Your fight with her wasn't a bad thing." Vlad said. "Even Dupain-Cheng will admit that she struggled, and it took a lot out of her, but her resilience is something you all should notice as there will be villains out there with strong constitutions who need more force to knock out. As for your inexperience Shinso, yes it showed in times but when it was needed you were there by capturing Kaminari and the fact that Dupain-Cheng recognized you as a threat will count for you. You did a good job."

"Thank you." Shinso said surprised by the praise he'd received.

"All of you need to learn from this loss, I haven't gotten into Tsuburaba and Rin as the main focus on this was the mistakes you made as a team in leadership and handling the threat the opposing team's leader posed but you will get a detailed review of your own actions." Vlad said. "A lot of mistakes were made and don't presume it was just because of Dupain-Cheng, if their 5th had been anyone else then it could have been similar or it could have been different. Remember that as you learn from this exercise."

"Yes sir." They all, including Shinso, said.

"Good now send over Kendo and her team." Vlad said dismissing them.

They nodded and left, alerting Kendo to it being her turn for feedback in the process before rejoining their classmates who'd lost in the 4th match as they'd already gotten their feedback and apologized for how badly they were crushed by Bakugo and his team. It was a tough loss, but Vlad had been right, their mistakes were clear, and they'd lost because of them so they all swore to learn from them and improve as heroes or in Shinso's case at least understand just how amazing the Hero Course really was.

"Right, you were the closest to recording a win and of all the teams yours was the one that got done over the most by one of the other team's skills." Vlad said to Kendo and her teammates though Mizosa wasn't there as he was still being healed following his second match, so he'd get his full feedback and assessment after they got all the reports in to determine if he was good enough to transfer. "Kendo, what was your mistake that cost you?"

"I let my own rivalry with Yaoyorozu cloud my judgement." Kendo said, she already knew full well what her mistake had been and was ready to own up to it to her teacher and teammates. "I was so set on beating her to show that we aren't the same that I made my plan around forcing her into a one-on-one brawl with me. I don't regret trusting the others to deal with the rest of her team, but I failed in not properly assessing their whole team because of my selfish desire to beat Yaoyorozu. I presumed that she was their leader and that the others would follow her and that cost us because I failed to factor in Agreste's abilities properly. I even noted her use of his first name and didn't realize its significance."

"That could have been due to the cultural differences between Agreste and the others, but assumptions shouldn't be made regardless." Vlad said. "And yes, that was your failure. The rest of your plan was good. You were able to counter someone as versatile as Yaoyorozu, used your team's personalities and abilities right with Kuroiro's scheming and Komori and Fukidashi's ranged attacks to set it all up. Even sending Mizosa to deal with Agreste and keep him occupied wasn't a bad idea. You correctly assessed that he wouldn't use Cataclysm at the start and figured you could win by capturing the others without the need to deal with hum. A good plan and even with Creation in the match you all dealt with it well, but underestimating Agreste was what cost you."

"I take full responsibility for that." Kendo said seriously. "I let my own petty rivalry interfere with my judgement. I should have fully accounted for him, and that Yaoyorozu might make something to allow him to track her given the clear level of trust between them. Her sacrifice in the end and slowing me down got me and between that and holding Hagakure I had no way to fight him, not that I am sure I could take him in hand-to-hand combat had it come to that."

"Correct, that was your mistake, but you also made one more mistake." Vlad said which surprised her. "And this is on all of you because you failed to designate a second in command who could take over should you fall."

"I see, yes that was a mistake." Kendo said as she understood what her teacher was telling her. "Yaoyorozu always knew that she could rely on Agreste to take up the slack of leadership if she lost, we didn't have that. Most teams didn't have that other than the final team and more because of Shoda's position as deputy rep. This is something that we all need to learn from."

"We are as much to blame as you are Kendo, shroom." Komori said sadly. "We got all flustered when you were beaten and didn't have a plan."

"Yeah, it's not all on you." Kuroiro said quietly not looking at his team's leader. "We didn't know what to do once you fell as we had no real plan to counter Agreste and what he could do. We also seriously underestimated his power, he is the true master of the dark abyss that I merely occupy, and that is what cost us."

"Correct, we all hold fault for our loss." Fukidashi added. "You set us up to win and we failed you in not capitalizing on it or doing our best to beat Agreste when it mattered the most."

"Well, the rest of you did well despite how you faired after Kendo went down." Vlad said as Kendo smiled at her teammates for their words of support. "You used your Quirks wisely, sowed seeds of misdirection from the start, worked together cleverly, and kept things hidden to allow for counters such as what Komori did to capture Tokoyami. Had Agreste not been in that match you would have won that match handily, remember that."

"We will." Kendo said as the others nodded.

"Good, that's all I have for you." Vlad said dismissing the team that had, overall, performed the best of the day despite their loss. "Send the next lot over."

Kendo and her team nodded again at that and left to get the third team. They hadn't had as big a feedback as they were the best team of the class, and the biggest mistake that they had made was clear as day. They'd all underestimated Agreste, both in his leadership and his power, and Kendo had taken responsibility for her short sightedness with Yaoyorozu which had compounded everything. They could now grow and get better because of it, and she intended to do all she could to help her class out in that regard as she and her team returned to their classmates while the third team went to their teacher.

"First off, I said keep the destruction to a minimum and you failed that." Vlad said as soon as the team 3 had reached him annoyed that Tetsutetsu hadn't listened to him right after the second match. "In the real world, while damage is going to happen, we try to keep it to a minimum but between the second and third matches you were excessive without reason. The only damage that would have fallen within acceptable levels was what Agreste did in the second match and only because of the mix of his Quirk and the Quirks he was up against at the time."

"Yes sir." Honenuki said bowing his head. "I am sorry for that."

"It was what we had to do though." Tetsutetsu added. "We had no scout capabilities, so we had to bring the battle to them, or at least draw them to us to fight them on our terms."

"You didn't need to destroy things to get what you wanted." Vlad pointed out as he glared at Tetsutetsu who gulped at that. "You are in an area filled with metal, all you had to do was strike it to get Shoji's attention, his scout abilities are strong so that's all that was needed. That is something you need to learn from, but the plan was a solid one I will give you that and Honenuki adapted to it well with his flexible thinking. You used Tetsutetsu's commotion to draw Class A to you because either way they'd find you first and laid a trap while correctly predicting that Todoroki would use his ice. That was well done and allowed for you to counter them fast from the start. Did you have a plan for fire though?"

"If he'd come at us with fire I would have sunk myself, Tsunotori and Kaibara if possible and then gotten them clear before countering while Tetsutetsu, who can withstand it, dealt with Todoroki." Honenuki said at once as he'd had a plan for fire as well as ice. "He was our weapon against Todoroki so that wouldn't change. After that we would have continued with the plan for Kaibara to handle Ojiro in solo combat as his hand-to-hand abilities are strong but Gyrate can break through Tail and would wear Ojiro down until an opening presented itself. Meanwhile Tsunotori would have dealt with Shoji and held him off until I had Ida captured and could assist wherever I was needed at the time."

"A smart plan." Vlad said with a nod. "But you were right with the ice this time and had the matchups for Ojiro and Shoji sorted but where was your mistake there?"

"Ida's Recipro." Honenuki said without hesitation as he'd known even when he'd done it that it was a mistake, but he'd had no other choice at the time. "I foolishly thought it still had a short time limit, I hadn't factored in that he would have had a way to improve it to both increase speed and duration but as a Hero Course student and one from a family with a notable Quirk lineage I should have expected it. As such, was too fast for my Softening to contend with. I knew that I couldn't best him in a one-on-one fight, so I fled. Even at the time I knew it was a mistake to leave Ida on his own, but I acted as I felt right and went to assist Tsunotori. My mistake in leaving Ida led to Kaibara being caught."

"It was the right move; in battle a hero should know when to fight and when to run when the matchup isn't in his favor." Vlad said. "And in that case you understood that Ida was too strong for you to handle alone. Ida showed his own growth and decision making by capturing Kaibara and assisting Ojiro, but Kaibara was still good there, he slowed down Ida the entire time and without that Ida would have reached you sooner and likely managed to get clear of that silo you and Tetsutetsu dropped on him to stop him. You made up for leaving him by adapting and finding a way to stop him, well done there."

"Thank you sir but I know I need to grow more and I'm going to fight Ida and Todoroki again to help that as I need to be able to do better with people who are able to counter my Quirk like they can." Honenuki said seriously. "All these matches showed how strong Class A is. Right now, I would be hard pressed to face Bakugo, Dupain-Cheng, Midoriya or Agreste in battle as well as Ida and Todoroki. I need to improve."

"Good, you're learning from this, all of you can learn from Honenuki's resolve." Vlad said and they nodded at that. "Other than that, really the only mistake was leaving Ida on his own and even that wasn't a total loss thanks to Kaibara's actions which is why he was the MVP of the whole match."

"Thank you sir." Kaibara said with a bow of his head at the praise. "I did what I had to when I was caught even if I was upset at how it happened."

"Hold onto that feeling as it will happen in the real world as well, most battles don't go as planned after all." Vlad said and Kaibara nodded at that. "After that Honenuki was able to still push through the kick he took to leave a parting gift for Ida which helped ensure that all four of you were out. Tsunotori did well to capture Ojiro when the opening presented itself and then made the right call waiting the time out with Todoroki as a hostage while protecting Tetsutetsu and Honenuki as waiting is a valid tactic. Good call there and you salvaged a tie out of all that. You were the only team not to be defeated which says something."

"Thank you sir." They all said again.

"Learn from this and get stronger." Vlad said as the straightforward feedback for the only team to not lose ended. "Now send the final team and Shinso here for their feedback."

They nodded and left to get the final team so that they could get their feedback. Vlad had been right about their team as he had pointed out their biggest mistake but also where they did well and corrected things to adapt to the battle at hand. Honenuki knew he had to get stronger and had pointed that out to Ida and Todoroki in the Nurse's office and was looking forward to a chance to face them again so that they could all grow as heroes going forward.

"Right, well, that was something different thanks to whatever Midoriya did." Vlad said as the final team gathered before him, Yanagi and Shoda back from being healed with the former's head fully wrapped in bandages as she'd suffered a skull fracture and a concussion from the impact with the ground but was better now thanks to Recovery Girl. "That threw you all and we will address that with Class A after this, but I will give you your feedback now on everything else."

Vlad paused as he looked at them waiting to see if any of them had anything to say, mainly Monoma as he often did. However, he didn't have anything to say this time so Vlad continued when it was clear that his students and Shinso wouldn't say anything just yet.

"Overall, you had the right tactics for that match." Vlad said looking them all over. "You used Shinso and Monoma well together to isolate and deal with Midoriya who was their biggest threat in terms of raw power and went for some hit and run distance attacks on the others. However, the moment it became a brawl you didn't adapt to it and let their other physical powerhouse run over you in the process."

"We don't have many strong Quirks for direct fighting." Shoda said though his tone was neutral and not one trying to cover his and his team's asses. "And Twin Impact could be lethal if I use it on a human though I did think Agreste could take it and was prepared to use it on him. I knew that a brawl wasn't good for us and tried to adapt but Agreste's new move changed things."

"Yes, that was unexpected even after his performance in the second match, but you should be ready for stuff like that because he'd already shown himself as someone who shouldn't be underestimated." Vlad said. "Still, it was strong, and Cataclysm can counter Size well and at the concentration he seemed to be using it was also a strong defense against items you'd used Twin Impact on Shoda. You were out thought and out fought in that three v three and lost though I will give Kodai credit for surrendering when she did, that was the smart move as you knew you couldn't win."

"Class A just showed how annoying they were." Monoma said with clear annoyance in his voice while Kodai just bobbed her head at that her arms still stuck together in front of her as Mineta's balls hadn't disappeared yet. "Midoriya's Quirk being a blank really threw me."

"True so use that to grow and get stronger." Vlad said seriously. "I will review the full battle for an in-depth feedback on the brawl part as I barely saw it due to what was going on with Midoriya's Quirk so that is all I really have for that part of the match. Now let's go and group with them for the group as this is one that needs both teams present and then we can give Shinso his assessment."

They nodded at that; their match really had to be dealt with alongside Class A, so they went to get that feedback from them. All the way, Shinso was nervous as now he'd learn if he had done enough to be allowed to transfer or not as it was clear to him that this had been his test to see if he had what it took to join the Hero Course next year. Regardless, he was still glad for this experience as it showed him what it was like to be a hero albeit briefly.

"Mr. Aizawa." Shinso said as he reached Class A's teacher with his second team and Vlad King for the group feedback and grasped his binding cloth in frustration while the others from his team moved to join Class A's 5th team for the group feedback. "I couldn't stand against Midoriya on my own, I'm still not strong enough to do so. I know that this test and this group feedback is going to determine if I was ready to transfer, right? Same with Mizosa from 1-D though he's not here right now."

"How'd you know?" Vlad asked surprised which seemed odd seeing as basically everyone had guessed that that was why the General Studies kids were here today. "Did you tell him Eraser?"

"No, I figured it out at the start." Shinso said simply. "Between the timing, the format, the additional numbers and the spots available in Class B, it seemed logical that you were evaluating us for the transfer. Also, we both fought twice, and Class A's additional fighters were the special transfers, so it all made sense that this was the transfer test."

"This isn't finished until we've gone over the overall critique." Aizawa said as both teams were now organized so Shinso headed over to join the others from the final match as well. "And in your case there is one thing that occurred that we have to go over as a group. Alright, Midoriya, what was going on with you in that match?"

"Uh, well…" Izuku began, this was what he was dreading as it was part of One for All, a part even All Might hadn't known about, but he couldn't exactly say tell them about that, so he'd been thinking of what to say to it and was still drawing a blank. "Er, it's…"

"It was as if a sinister darkness manifested in you and burst forth." Tokoyami said as now both classes had decided to converge behind the teachers to watch the final feedback because all were curious as to what was going on with Midoriya in that match while All Might and Midnight stood just behind Vlad and Aizawa. "An uncontrollable force from the abyss similar to what Agreste can command at will but of a different nature and one you have yet to make bend to your will like Agreste can do with Cataclysm."

"You were raging out there." Kuroiro added. "Was that part of your Quirk or something?"

"It may be a new move, but it was different from your normal super strength." Kirishima said thinking on what he'd seen. "So, what was it?"

"It seemed like it was powerful though." Marinette said as she did her best to try and assist Midoriya out of this without revealing too much but rather trying to find a way he could twist it to fit with what he could do though she was genuinely curious as to what the black tendrils were. "Almost like a different application of your Quirk like how Adrien can now manipulate Cataclysm in new ways or how Toru can warp light with her body, neither of which were possible at the start of the year. You do spark with green electricity when it's active but black tendrils are new."

"Yeah, you're right, that seems to be what it is." Izuku said hearing what they were saying and feeling that while Dupain-Cheng didn't know the truth she was at least tactically acute enough to make a logical connection that he could work off to sell Blackwhip as part of his Quirk rather than as a second Quirk to the rest of the class and the teachers though he'd tell All Might and Kacchan the truth later. "I'm trying to figure out what it was myself if I'm being honest."

"What do you mean, Midoriya?" Aizawa asked seriously.

"It's hard to explain." Izuku said holding out his right arm and looking at his hand. "I was overflowing with power at the time and couldn't hold it back, but it wasn't like when my power hurt me at the start of the year. It was more like something I'd trusted up until now suddenly showed me it's true nature. It terrified me because I didn't know what was going on but thanks to Uraraka and Shinso stopping me, I was able to get a handle on things."

Izuku paused here as he thought more on what had happened and how it had been stopped coming to an explanation. As he did no one else spoke though Ochaco looked at him with concern as he spoke while Shinso just looked at him out of the corner of his eye.

"I realized that this isn't something I should fear and if Shinso hadn't made me calm down with his Brainwashing Quirk I don't know how things might have ended up out there." Izuku continued after his pause. "Shinso asked in my lack of control was a trick, but I really had no idea what was happening at the time. So, thank you, to both of you, for saving me today."

"What a thrill." Midnight said excitedly while Shinso just thought on what Midoriya had said and how he was actually that scared out there because all he'd really been trying to do was provoke the other boy into speaking so he could use his brainwashing on him while Ochaco suddenly stiffened at Midnight talking because she had a bad feeling about it given the R-Rated Hero's reputation. "When Midoriya went out of control Shinso did great to restore order to the situation just like a hero should. However, Uraraka's swift response as me overflowing with pride. Putting your body on the line to help a 'friend' is true devotion! Yes, so much passion there! I can't stand it; it makes my heart beat so fast!"

"Uraraka, you jumped to Midoriya right away, even without Agreste's prompting you would have done so." Mina said excitedly while Midnight continued to be in the thralls of the young love she saw on display in the last match while most of the class were just disturbed by their teacher's actions and Mina brought her face close to Ochaco's as she added. "You never even hesitated to get to him. Bet you hugged him real hard didn't you, that skin tight suit of yours must have come in real handy."

Mina said the last bit quiet enough so that only Ochaco heard it as she grinned at her friend. She had been the captain of the Midoriya and Uraraka ship ever since she'd realized that Ochaco had a crush on someone in the class and almost instantly deduced that it was Midoriya and what had just happened in the 5th match was too juicy for her to pass up. As far as Mina was concerned there was no doubt in her mind anymore who Ochaco was in love with, and she was going to do everything she could to get them together as it was clear to her that Midoriya felt the same way even if he didn't realize it yet.

Ochaco for her part just went bright red at what Mina was saying. True, she had acted in no small part because of her love for Deku, she couldn't deny that she'd failed to keep a lock on her feelings in that battle the moment she saw Deku in trouble, but that wasn't all.

No, there was more to it, and it was all part of her own heroic desires and what kind of hero she intended on being when she graduated, it was just coincidence that the first time she had to do it was for the boy she was in love with. Well, that and he was the reason why she wanted to walk this heroic path in no small part because he was the one who kept needing saving.

"True, I didn't think twice about butting in even before Agreste told me to do so." Ochaco said still red and pointedly not looking at Mina's still grinning mug next to her or at Deku on her other side as right now she couldn't look him in the eye. "Maybe that means I need to be much calmer while fighting but I feel like it is better than not doing anything and regretting it later. I was the only one who could reach Deku there and I knew it wasn't a bluff, he really was in trouble, so I did what any hero would I felt."

"You've grown up quite a bit Uraraka." Aizawa said to her to reassure his student as he knew of her inner turmoil about wanting to save people back during the raid and today showed how much she'd grown by what she did to help Midoriya, her not so subtle crush on the boy that was obvious even to Aizawa even if he didn't have to listen to Midnight lament on how nothing was happening there notwithstanding. "You showed that today, you should be proud of what you did."

"Hm?" Ochaco said looking up at her teacher before smiling when what he had said sunk in. "Thank you sir."

"I should mention that I didn't act out there solely for Midoriya's sake." Shinso said butting in because he felt he had to be honest about his thought process at the time lest he get credit for something he didn't truly earn. "I just did what Uraraka told me to do in that situation because it made sense and besides, I saw Monoma and the others being attacked by that strange dark energy. I realized that our team was going to lose unless someone responded quickly. So, you see, I stopped Midoriya selfishly because I wanted to fight Midoriya and win as I lost to him in the Sports Festival. If I'm being honest it was all I could do to take care of myself and…"

Shinso didn't get to finish what he was saying as Aizawa had walked forward during his rambling and grabbed part of the binding cloth around his neck. Then he pulled tight in a sudden move to strangle Shinso and shut him up similar to how he'd used his own cloth to shut Monoma up at the start of the training session as everyone looked on in shock.

"No one asked any more than that from you, Shinso." Aizawa said simply as he looked the kid he'd taken under his wing in the eye and let go of him before turning to face the class. "Everyone here has been training for months to become heroes who can save the people of this world, two have been training for two years on top of that because of how the French system works, no one can master being a hero right away. Well, except maybe All Might but he doesn't count. That is why we have training after all so that you can learn, grow and get stronger and better. Before you become a prop hero you must first take care of yourself otherwise you will fail. If you don't have the power to stand your ground on your own then you can't protect anyone else."

As Aizawa had been talking he was walking through the students so that all could hear and understand his words and take them to heart. This was as much about them as it was for Shinso who he then looked at so that he could deliver his final words to the boy.

"With that in mind, what you showed us today was enough to earn a passing grade in this test." Aizawa said. "Mizosa isn't here so we will reveal his results to him later, but you passed Shinso."

"That's great Mr. Aizawa but I've still got a ways to go." Shinso said as he processed the news and looked down to the ground while he spoke. "After fighting everyone today I now understand the truth of this course. I experienced first hand how amazing the Hero Course is so I'm not going to be satisfied with by merely passing this test. I need to work harder and aim higher to live up to my potential."

"That's fine, any hero should do that." Aizawa said calmly. "So go at it with a Plus Ultra mentality."

"Yes sir." Shinso said seriously.

"Shinso, at the end, you were trying to get me to brawl you so you could use you combo moves." Izuku said turning to Shinso now that the main stuff was over so he could praise the kid's impressive work. "And the way you attacked with those pipes right away to try and hold me off and how you were swinging around using the binding cloth just like Mr. Aizawa, it was inspiring to watch. My Quirk wasn't useful at all, it just put my teammates in harm's way, but you used yours wisely and made great judgement calls both in that match and the first one. Honestly, you're easily on par with our class with what you showed today."

"Midoriya makes some good points." Aizawa said with a nod at one of his two problem children's words. "Pretty much the reasons why you passed are laid out there."

"We still have much to analyze from these fights, however." Vlad said addressing both classes. "But I will say that in all probability Shinso at the very least will join the Hero Course next year as part of Class 2-B. Just make sure you aren't outshined by him and don't get slack in your training. The particulars will come later, there are more detailed individual critiques that you will be getting once we can review the film of this, from the cameras that weren't either destroyed by Todoroki, Agreste, and Midoriya or obscured by Komori."

"Speaking of which." Mina said raising her hand as it was now time to bring up what she wanted to bring up before as the training exercise was effectively over. "Can you unleash on Mineta for being the absolute worst? He crossed the line in that match."

"Hey, crashing into your chest was a lucky accident." Mineta said defending his 'luck' as the accident that he'd set it up to be. "And besides, I put my body on the line so that Shoda and the girls couldn't strategize."

"That and I was keeping Cataclysm up which was causing issues for their tactics, so you're not excused from what you did." Adrien said coolly. "And Ashido, I think I have something that can be done for Mineta, but we need Momo to make some specific equipment for it. There isn't much that survives from the pre-Quirk era but there's one rather unique, shall we say re-education, technique from what was apparently a cult classic British film that we could try. It was used to cure, or at least curb, perversity and ultra-violence if I recall."

"Ohhhh, I like it." Mina said excitedly while Monoma began to go off on a rant about how they would have won the last match had he known that Midoriya's Quirk would be a blank from the start but was silenced by Vlad telling him that class was over, so it was time to shut up already. "Will it be painful for him?"

"I believe it was classified as torture in the film though there was no physical pain beyond eyes being held open and even then there was a system in place to water them." Adrien said with a grin that did not settle Mineta at all. "Course it was in a movie, so it probably won't work in real life but it's worth a try."

"Alright you are all dismissed." Aizawa said to the classes confirming that the exercise was over and ending all chatter though Izuku was concerned about how Monoma copied his Quirk, but he was confused as to what a blank was. "Remember what you learned today and grow as heroes. Monoma, regarding you're Quirk, I have a task for you with it. Come visit Eri tomorrow. Midoriya, you can tag along as well to reassure her."

"Yes sir." Most of both classes said while Monoma just looked confused at Aizawa but nodded in agreement before the students began to break up to head to the changing rooms, but Ida approached Kendo as they were moving.

"Kendo, a moment." Ida said and that got her attention and most of the classes other than those like Shinso who had to return to his dorm and Bakugo who didn't care but just grabbed Izuku and dragged him off because they had to discuss his little display in private while he questioned why Aizawa wanted Monoma to visit Eri. "This training has gotten me thinking and I realized that we don't do much as a course despite all of us going to be heroes."

"True other than that game a few of us played shortly after moving in we haven't done much." Kendo admitted referring to a strange barrel game that she, Monoma, Pony, and Tetsutetsu had played against Kaminari, Mina, Hagakure and Ojiro courtesy of Todoroki randomly having been given an extremely modified version of the game by Hatsume shortly after the move in when Monoma went to taunt Class A. "Do you have something in mind?"

"Yes, why don't you all come by tonight after everyone has changed and bathed for a group social in our dorm." Ida said. "We can all get together and get to know each other better as friends and classmates while making food together to further our bonds."

"That does sound nice." Kendo said looking around and her class were all nodding at that. "Alright, we'll come. See you lot tonight."

With that Kendo led her class away while Ida did the same with his class as they all began to think about what they should do for the party. It was a good idea and something many realized that they needed as the exercise had taught them more than just combat today and soon they'd have that comradery fostered. The joint training session may be over but the growth as heroes continued as the first years in U.A.'s Hero Course persevered on their journey to becoming heroes.

Well, there it is, the end of the Joint Training arc with a chapter dedicated to the feedback that the teams got for their matches and the reveal of Shinso at least passing. Mizosa's fate is up to y'all, you can decide if he's passed or not and I'll work with the final result when the time comes but we are a fair way's away from that. Lastly, while I know I try to avoid making any other references in this series due to how little is referenced in MHA about the pre-Quirk era and what not I am making a slight exception for what Adrien pointed out at the end. That's because one of the few clear pre-Quirk references (the first of two I'd say were definitely pre-Quirk era and not things that may have survived the Quirk Wars) in MHA is the brief glimpse of Mina punishing Mineta after the training arc, that punishment comes from a controversial British film from 1971 called 'A Clockwork Orange' and is these days a cult classic so I figured I'd allow for Adrien to be the one to suggest it to Mina. Anyway, that is all I have for y'all so I will leave this chapter off here and see you next week with the wrap up party for the Joint Training arc to truly end this arc. As always, if you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads. Do keep the reviews coming as I like hearing from y'all as you enjoy my work, it motivates me to keep producing the best work I can for y'all to enjoy. Until next time.
