Here it is, the 125th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released on time as always. The third semester is going well for the aspiring heroes at U.A., they're training hard and learning a lot and now it's time to learn even more as the first wave of random team up missions from the HPSC is at last upon them and it's time for Class 1-A to see where they will be doing their first team ups, with who, and in some cases what happens when said missions go ahead. Anyway, that is all the administrative stuff that I have for you, however, and there are no guest reviews to respond to or questions to answer so I will end this note here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all. That is all I have for this pre chapter note so that means that it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 125th full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.

Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.

Chapter 125: Random Team Ups

"I AM HERE!" All Might said loudly as he changed into his power form before the class. "To explain what you will be doing tomorrow."

The class were a bit taken aback by this, mainly the surprising return of All Might in his full hero form that vanished before All Might even finished speaking to them causing him to cough up blood, as they'd heard about what was coming up over the last few days. They were going to be assigned team up groups and heroes at some point, tomorrow it seemed, as part of some HPSC program. The only thing they didn't know was where they'd be assigned, well that and why this program had started, but it seemed like this would be when they learned.

So far the third semester had been pretty uneventful for them as it had consisted mostly of training, classes, and of course a lot of work study work that was really helpful to their growth as heroes. There hadn't been anything too exciting like in past semesters, even with the work studies going on, so this would be a good way to break up things and get some different experiences and perspectives about the hero world.

"Now, I am sure that you are wondering about why this program has been set up by the HPSC." All Might said and most of the class nodded at that. "Well, it is quite simple, the reason behind it is to boost teamwork, cooperation, and understanding between the various hero course students across the country and the hero agencies that exist in Japan."

"I see, this is just what I'd expect from U.A. and the HPSC." Ida said before All Might could continue. "When we are pros we will be teaming up with heroes we've never met before, those who rescued Eri know this firsthand, so even though we should know who the other heroes are and what their Quirks can do we won't know how we work together until we use them in the field and that could be a problem. This is basically a teamwork training exercise only with a real world application because we have provisional hero licenses, am I right sir?"

"That is correct young Ida." All Might said with a nod glad to see that Ida had gotten it though it appeared that the rest of the class also understood the HPSC's goal with this. "And this goes beyond just being with U.A. students, you may be paired up with students from other schools like Shiketsu, Ketsubutsu, Seiai and so on. Many schools have volunteered their students with provisional licenses for this program so the possibilities are endless. With that in mind, you've all already gotten your first missions so please come up and get your assignments. Report to the pro hero tomorrow and do so where you're told to go as some of them are not going to be at their agencies."

With that All Might pulled out a series of envelopes with their names on them and passed them out to the class. They all knew what to do and opened them to check out where they were going, which other students they were with, and in most cases which hero they'd been assigned to.

"Huh, looks like I'm with Tokage and have to report to Mt. Lady." Marinette said to Adrien as she looked at her assignment. "That could be, er, interesting given Tokage's personality."

"Hopefully it's not too bad." Adrien said as he looked down at his own assignment. "Oh cool, I'm with Momo and we got assigned to…"

"I look forward to working with you again Adrien and I am sure the Wild, Wild, Pussycats will treat us well." Momo said turning to them as Marinette's eyes went wide and she looked over to Adrien's assignment to confirm it, which it did though his grin was more than enough to do so in its own, so she just got up and walked to Momo to place her hand on her friend's shoulder and lowered her head. "Er, Marinette, what is up?"

"I'm so sorry for what you're about to deal with Momo." Marinette said as the rest of the class got their assignments and found who they were with if they were with people in the class, the most notable of that being Midoriya, Uraraka and Bakugo on a team, or if they were with other schools as some were with Tsu pleased to see she was with her friend who was at Isamu Academy, and they were going to a location with a large lake nearby so it might be an aquatic assignment. "You have my deepest condolences for what's about to happen. He's been pretty good all year but with that team it will return. You're in for an experience that many would consider torture in violation of the Geneva Convention."

"Huh?" Momo asked now really confused. "What are you talking about Marinette."

"Don't be such a sour puss, bugaboo." Adrien said with a grin as he put some extra emphasis on the word 'puss.' "This is going to be paw-some. We just need the right cat-atude for it. You feline-ing it? You will be…"

"No, no, don't start now, I've gotten used to the lack of them and I'm not going to deal with a resurgence thank your very much." Marinette said getting up and leaving. "I'm going to find Tokage and coordinate as we've got to meet Mt. Lady at her old base before she teamed up with Edgeshot and Kamui Woods to form the Lurkers. Her provocative nature and dirty mind is better than dealing with that side of you again kitty."

"Aww, come on, I'm only kitten, m'lady." Adrien said with a grin as Momo started to get a bad feeling in her gut about what was to come. "Come on back, I'll be purrfect for you."

"Why do I feel like this is going to be an experience that I won't forget." Momo said to herself as Marinette left the room.

The rest of the class also got up and began to head out to either coordinate with those who they were teamed up with, Ochaco for one was thrilled to be with Deku, and he was just as happy to be with her even if they had to deal with Bakugo, or to at least research their assigned hero if it was listed. Regardless, the team ups started the next day so many were eager to see what they'd be like.

Izuku sat next to Ochaco on a couch and opposite Bakugo in what felt like a communal area on the second floor of a hotel of all places. They'd been told to report here the day before as part of their team up assignment, with the expected yelling from Bakugo being stuck with Izuku and Ochaco trying to keep the peace and failing at it, but they were one of the groups who hadn't been told who they were assigned to. That had been odd enough but to make things stranger they weren't in an agency it seemed but rather a hotel so they really had no clue who they were working with.

As they sat there they tried to figure out who it was but none of them could come up with any clue as to who the hero they'd be working with was. Bakugo just hoped it wasn't some two-bit low tier hero and actually someone worthwhile, not that there were many heroes he deemed worthwhile to learn from. Regardless, it was Bakugo who actually saw who the pro was first, not that he could recognize the person, as the pro appeared behind Deku and round cheeks and began to approach them.

"So, you three must be Midoriya, Uraraka, and Bakugo." The hero said and Izuku and Ochaco turned at the female voice with the former's eyes going wide at who was standing there with her hands on her hips. "Well, I would have preferred if U.A. had sent me Dupain-Cheng, she at least can keep up but you lot will do for this thing."

"What, you're saying I can't out do her!" Bakugo roared as the woman, a short but muscular woman with caramel brown skin, white hair and rabbit ears, fluffy bunny tail, and wearing a white unitard and thigh high boots that really showed off her powerful looking thighs smirked at him. "I'm better than her, she just hasn't faced me yet for me to prove it."

"Woah, it's the number five pro, the Rabbit Hero: Mirko." Izuku said fanboying at once and ignoring Bakugo's rand, both of which annoyed Bakugo, but at least the ranking meant that this woman was at least a legit pro up there with denim head and Endeavor, so she wasn't some two-bit loser. "She was the hero Dupain-Cheng interned under, which is unheard of because Mirko is a new kind of hero who doesn't have an agency, jurisdiction, or sidekicks. She just hops all over Japan helping out where she can and often she works solo. It's a real treat to be able to watch her up close. You're the hero we're under?"

"Good intro, summed me up well and I made an exception for your classmate because I needed someone to follow and clean up my messes that week and she seemed like she could cut it, which she did." Mirko said. "This, however, is just what the HPSC forced on me. I didn't sign up to the program but us heroes weren't really given a choice."

"But does that mean we get to help you with hero stuff?" Izuku asked.

"Nope." Mirko said shutting him down hard and going up a bit in Bakugo's estimation as she was clearly a no nonsense hero at least. "I gotta live free on my own, but I don't mind if you lot tag along behind me."

"Ok." Izuku said as Mirko turned to head out and he got up.

It seemed that this would be their team up for the day so he, Ochaco, and Bakugo quickly changed and then followed Mirko out as she began to do whatever it was that she did as a hero. It would be a good learning experience, one where both Bakugo and Ochaco got praised by Mirko for their actions during the day but not Izuku, and really showed them what she was like as a pro. Despite not getting praised, Izuku learned a lot from her, and he just hoped that the others were having as useful a time as he was.

"Well here we are, their official agency." Adrien said as he and Momo, both already in their hero outfits, stood outside the building with a bright pink, cat face façade complete with windows as eyes, cat ears on the top of it, and an open mouth where the door was. "Makes sense for them and the rural setting works as they are heroes who specialize in rescue work."

"Yes, and the instructions said to just go in." Momo said as she walked to the door. "So…"

However, before she could reach it the door burst open and the Wild, Wild Pussycats leapt out. Three were in their full outfits while Ragdoll was in civilian clothes as she was their office manager and coordinator ever since they'd returned to active duty because she was still Quirkless following it being stollen by One for All. A shame as Search was pretty helpful at times but at least this way she could run the show behind the scenes, and it actually made them a lot more productive to have someone to coordinate between the cats in the field and the local authorities.

"Your feline fantasies are once again here." Mandalay said as she leapt into her pose.

"So, allow us to lend another helpful paw." Ragdoll said even though she wasn't wearing her gloves.

"We're still champions serving up justice with our tails." Tiger said flexing his muscles.

Purrfectly cat like heroes." Pixie Bob said as she completed the formation before they all said in unison.

"We're the Wild, Wild, Pussycats and we're back in action!"

"Paw-sitively amazing." Adrien said with a grin as the unit finished. "Always good to see you cool cats."

"Cat Noir, we were glad to hear that you and Creati had been assigned to us for today." Mandalay said as they stood to face the first years. "It's been a while since we last saw your class and we've never actually done field work with you so there's a lot we can teach you about rescue work."

"We're grateful to be here." Momo said with a small bow. "And to help in any way that we can."

"It will just be paw-trols in the meowntains around here." Tiger said pointing as Pixie Bob approached Adrien and began to sniff him as she got uncomfortably close. "And of course, aiding where we are needed."

"We are based here because of our specialty in rescue and even then we're best with forest, mountain and cave rescue due to our Quirks." Mandalay explained as Pixie Bob kept sniffing Adrien much to his confusion as he tried to lean back from the older blonde woman. "It allows us the best place to help where we can do the most good."

"And I'm the one running the show from the agency." Ragdoll said happily. "With me here to coordinate and pass things on we're even more efficient than we used to be even with how useful Search was in the field, so I'll be your indoor cat while you kittens join the pack today to assist. With your Quirks we're going to be extra efficient today, I'm sure of it."

"Yes, Cataclysm and Creation, two very useful Quirks for rescue work." Tiger said. "My tail is quivering at all the good we can do together, meow."

"Yes, but, um…" Adrien said leaning back as he pointed at Pixie Bob.

"Don't mind her, she's still looking for a mate." Mandalay said with a sigh as she grabbed the back of Pixie Bob's top and dragged her away from Adrien. "It's getting worse though and I guess you're a good candidate in her eyes, when you're 18 that is."

"I was just making sure that his mate's scent is still on him." Pixie Bob said which was really odd seeing as she didn't have enhanced smell as far as they knew. "And it is so I can't have him when another cat has marked her territory."

"Now don't be a sour puss." Mandalay said using the same pun as Adrien had the day before which he really liked. "We've got a busy day ahead so let's get to it right away, we can't have cat naps in the sun when we've got kittens to look after. Here, Creati take this. Cat Noir, can that mask of yours change frequencies?"

"It can." Adrien said pointing to a small dial on his support item as Momo took a communication radio from Mandalay and put it in her hear. "I just need to turn this, and I can find various ones that are around."

"Good then as we head out we'll calibrate it." Mandalay said before pointing over to a far set of mountains. "We're going to be over there today, there was a recent rainstorm, so landslides are a possibility and there are caves there as well that civilians like to explore so a lot to do. Even if nothing happens, we will patrol the area, look for signs of potential future disasters that might be avoidable or preventable, and generally teach you all the wisdom us older cats can manage."

"Hey, I'm still 18 at heart." Pixie Bob pointed out.

"Pretty much we will paw-trol that area while Ragdoll holds down the fort and calls in things as they happen or direct us to areas that we should investigate." Tiger said. "We've got some rest areas out there as well to take cat naps in and lap up some milk from time to time but in general it will be a busy day."

Just then there was a buzz over the radio and Ragdoll raised her hand to her ear. She paused for a minute as she listened to what was being said and nodded before looking at her team, Momo, and Adrien.

"Alright we got word that there's been a minor cave in out in cave calico that has trapped a few spelunkers and injured one so get to it." Ragdoll said. "Helicopter rescue is on route, but we need to get there first to save them and do first aid so hop to it kitties. Expect Pliabody and Cataclysm to be the first two Quirks used but Creation will be needed as well."

"Meow, let's go." Pixie Bob said as she ran to the edge of town. "Stick with me, we'll use Earth Flow to get safely near that cave as fast as possible. From there Mandalay will take charge as we go save them."

"Claw-some." Adrien said as they all headed out while Ragdoll hurried into the agency to take her seat at her desk and coordinate from there.

"Mhm I remember you're an ally cat who likes feline based puns." Pixie Bob said. "Can you keep up with the pros though?"

"Better than you know." Adrien said. "So, bring it, I'll make puns you've never heard of."

"Oh, I like you." Pixie Bob said as they hurried out. "He's purrfectly entertaining, meow."

Momo gulped at that as it fully hit her what Marinette had been on about as they exited the town and gathered around Pixie Bob for her Earth Flow Quirk to take them close to the cave quickly and safely while Adrien and the Pussycats began an impromptu cat pun competition. She was in for it now and it was only going to get worse. Hopefully, Marinette's team up with Tokage under Mt. Lady was going better as Momo, Adrien, and the Pussycats headed off into the mountains to rescue some spelunkers as they started their team up day with the Wild, Wild, Pussycats.

"What!" Marinette exclaimed looking down at the item on the table before her, her eyes wide. "You expect me to wear that? You've got to be kidding me."

"Huh, no it's an undercover mission we're on today." Mt. Lady said confused as Tokage grinned and held up the outfit and placed it over her to see how it look against her body, which she felt it looked very good. "I requested girls for my first randomly assigned students under this program because we're the best to infiltrate the front that the Lurkers have had under observation for a while now and when I described why I needed girls, the HPSC must have decided that you two were the best for it. Am I wrong? You are at least part French, are you not Dupain-Cheng?"

"Well yeah I am so I can add that to it." Marinette said as she picked up the dress before her. "But seriously, my team up today is to go undercover in a Maid Café? You know that's a mockery of my culture, right?"

Marinette and Tokage had reported to Mt. Lady's old digs from before she joined the Lurkers in their school uniforms with their costume cases to find the blonde pro waiting for them out of her costume with a pair of black French maid outfits folded on a table for them. They were even in the right sizes for the girls which made sense if their assignment to this hadn't been as random as implied.

Then, Mt. Lady, who produced a third one that was for her only with a clearly lower cut to it, said that they were to change into them as they'd be wearing those outfits today so they should get used to how it was to wear it before going on the mission. That was when Marinette had had her outburst.

"So, you don't wear these things there?" Mt. Lady asked confused. "I'll admit I'm not the most well versed in French culture, but these are called French maid outfits for a reason, right?"

"I mean they were a fashionable thing for a high society lady's maid to wear at one point." Marinette said. "And I've worn one kinda like this before but that was to aid my parents at an event. These days though, these outfits are more associated with maid cafes and strange sexual fetishes with the latter admittedly coming from some other elements of French culture and general sexual fancies, not that that's a bad thing to be into it of course, it's just what these outfits have become known for."

"Yeah it's kinda kinky really when you think about it." Tokage said helpfully. "Come on Marinette, have you and Agreste ever…"

"Don't finish that sentence Setsuna." Marinette said the threat clear in her voice. "Don't forget, even with your Quirk at its peak I can still capture you with mine and even if you break up I'll still just beat the pieces until I can knock you out again. You're talents aren't the same as mine and if we're going undercover then you're going to be the key one here."

"Oh right, what can you do?" Mt. Lady asked surprising both of them with the question as they figured she would already know what their Quirks were. "I think I get what Dupain-Cheng can do, I watched her in the Sports Festival and my work study students have mentioned her, but I'm not actually sure what you can do Tokage as you didn't show it off then."

"My Quirk is called Lizard Tail Splitter." Tokage said as she detached her right hand and made it float up in front of her. "I can split my body into at last count 50 pieces and control all of them independently. When I do so I can fly as well which is an added bonus. However, once any piece that isn't my brain is away from my body for too long it will fall dead and then I'll regenerate that body part on my actual body, when my body catches up to that part as I regenerate from the head down. Problem is, the more of my body that dies after breaking up the more energy it takes to regenerate which exhausts me, so I tend to not go full 50 unless I have to and I try to bring pieces back to me to reset my timer so to speak."

"Interesting and I take it you're like me and have a special costume." Mt. Lady said.

"Correct, it's made out of my own cells so it can break up like me." Tokage said. "As well as reform as is when I do so."

"Well, we won't be needing costume, but that power is actually perfect." Mt. Lady said grinning at her luck to have these two for this mission. "See, we're going undercover because a while back Edgeshot discovered that there is a drug manufacturing and distribution ring, and we're not talking about Trigger here but actual narcotics like heroin, opium, cocaine, and worse stuff like methamphetamines and PCP."

"I guess no matter where you are there's always a market for things like that." Marinette said with a sigh.

"Pretty much, where there is addiction there will be scum who capitalize on it." Mt. Lady said. "As for these pieces of trash, they run it all from a maid café that is actually a front where they customers come in, place orders, and the maids bring out special bento boxes that have the drugs hidden in them. Depending on the order they are either for recreational use or for resale where a cut goes to the drug ring."

"And the cops never realized?" Marinette asked.

"Nope, everything is made on sight and brought in via food packaging and other kinds of orders that one would expect from a café using transport vans that the ring own and registered as part of some front company to further hide their operation." Mt. Lady said. "Plus, it's all home grown ingredients so no smuggling which prevents the Guardian Agency from just busting in. It's a really sophisticated operation actually, one of the most elaborate ones we've seen."

"But what if just someone normal walks in." Tokage said. "Like off the street who wants to enjoy a maid café."

"There are certain key words and phrases that give away those in the know." Mt. Lady said. "The hostess on duty is one of the main members of the ring from what we gathered and she's the one with the set phrases to know if the person who came in is there for drugs or just maids. Edgeshot has been using his Quirk to spy on them and determined how the general system worked. Those who don't use the key phrase just get some store-bought bento box, marked up of course, and enjoy the maid service. They get a decent bit of legit income that way especially because most go to maid cafés for the maids not the food."

"Yeah that's true." Tokage said with a nod. "I've been to a few to enjoy the sights not the food though the really good ones do care about their desserts at least, those aren't bad at all."

"This isn't a good maid café, and they are fine with it as it deters repeat customers as most get their fill with just one visit and have no reason to go back it seems." Mt. Lady said. "So yeah that's what they do and it's time to shut them down for good and we're going to do so from the inside so that they can't destroy any evidence."

"How?" Marinette asked. "If this is a maid café that is actually about drug manufacture and sale then surely the maids there are in on it as well? How can we go undercover there?"

"It's believed that some of the serving maids are, but it is also known that due to the low ranks of the maids they don't need to be part of the ring." Mt. Lady said. "Unfortunately, Edgeshot said that it seems that most of the maids are drug users who work there for their fix and that some even sell their bodies as well though that is a VIP service not offered on the menu. Yeah, this group are some right bastards but with all the crime that's risen since All Might retired we've not had the chance to properly take them down until now."

"That's disgusting." Marinette said. "And exploitative."

"Not all the maids are like that." Mt. Lady said. "The long-standing ones like the hostess and the manager maid are actual members of the group, it's the ones who are just turnover staff the way any restaurant or café might have that are like that. Thankfully, that plays into our hands."

"It does?" Tokage asked.

"Yup, Edgeshot got all the intel we needed regarding the average maids." Mt. Lady said with a nod. "So, the cops quickly picked up all the low level maids, many for outstanding drug and prostitution charges, and locked them up where they were more than willing to cut deals and turn on the people who run this. That was just a bonus though, the main reason for this was to force the café to become so short staffed that they reached out to a service for maid café workers, which the cops were monitoring, and in the end they requested 3 girls for a temp shift today to take orders and what not. That's where we come in, we're going to be the maids that are there to do temp work."

"But, um, I don't know how to do that?" Marinette pointed out. "And, if you haven't noticed, I speak Japanese with a French accent so it's rather clear that I'm a foreigner."

"True but we are going to play that off as an authentic aspect of the service we offer so as to sell our cover." Mt. Lady said with a smile. "And now that I know what Tokage can do she's going to wear an eye patch which will give a hint of cosplay, another service we're pretending that we offer, while her eye is actually lose and finds the proof we need to bust it down."

"I can do that." Tokage said with a grin.

"As this is hero work fine." Marinette said before she glared at Tokage. "But no pictures, got it."

"Aww, just one of you looking adorable for Agreste." Tokage said. "He'll love it and might even…"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence." Marinette said as she grabbed the maid outfit, which was the classic black with frills though had a slightly alluring, sexy, cut to it, and went to change with Tokage following her trying to persuade her to let her take a picture so as they left Marinette relented a little. "Fine, one on my phone to send Adrien and then I'm deleting it, got it. None on yours so that you can sell it to Mineta and Kaminari."

"Oh come on, I'll blur your face out and even join in a few with some provocative ones." Tokage said as they left. "I'll split it with you as well, think of how much Mineta would pay for it, we could…"

Marinette shot that down with enough force that Tokage gave up. After that, it didn't take long to change, complete with a black sash that Tokage tied diagonally over her head to cover her left eye for when she had to split it from her body, and soon they were back with Mt. Lady who was also changed and she gave them a quick lowdown on how to act, what to do, and how to be a waitress as well as what their back stories were and the fake, mundane, Quirks they were going to claim they had on the paperwork as part of the cover.

It was all rather detailed, much to Marinette's surprise, but she accepted it and memorized her backstory for this. Some of it she did understand at least seeing as she'd done serving before for her parents back in the day, but this was different, and she was a bit nervous. Still, it was hero work, and they were undercover so how bad could it be.

Apparently it was pretty bad it turned out. After an hour of prep work while the police sorted out their stories with the maid café they were going to be going undercover in, they were picked up by a clear undercover cop in a company car for the actual temp maid service for short staffed maid cafés that needed a quick, and trained maid to fill in for a shift or two. Once they were in the car, they were taken to a dingy, seedy, area of town where they parked in an alley behind a strip of bars, clubs, fast food joints, and the maid café in question and got out.

Immediately they were met by a lecherous man who was leering at them with an approving gaze, especially at the low cut nature of Mt. Lady's outfit that really caught his eye, while he and the undercover cop sorted the final details out. After that was sorted the creepy man took them to a back door where a burly woman also in a maid outfit that didn't really suit her met them and was revealed to be the manager maid. She then patted them down for weapons, which they didn't have, and let them into the building.

Inside was just a long corridor with a door at the far end and two on the side that they passed that were clearly restrooms. As they walked they were handed the standard waitress order pad and told that they were to start immediately but were only to take orders from the customers in the traditional maid café style and then bring them to the burly woman who would then get the bento boxes for that order. They were not, under any circumstances, to come leave the café floor unless it was to use the bathroom, which they agreed.

All this happened as they walked down the corridor and to the far door before they were ushered through it. It was so fast that Tokage didn't have time to slip her eye out and begin searching so she'd have to wait for her first bathroom break to do so. Given that they just got here that unfortunately meant that they would have to do about an hour of work as actual maid café maids which was the really bad part.

If it was a normal maid café and Marinette had to do this she'd just about be able to stomach it but this wasn't a normal one. It was just a square room filled with tables and booths for appearances and a faded maid theme on the walls that was just enough to sell the place but the men and women in it were a mix of hardened looking thugs who were clearly the resellers and strung out tweakers who came in, were greeted by a hostess that was clearly part of the gang, and taken to a seat with the menu.

Once the 'customers' were seated the maids who were lined up on the back wall, where they had to stand in set places to tell them which tables they served, would give the customer a moment before going to the table. That was when they'd address the customer properly and take his or her order. As such, other than the layout and the awkwardness of the maids standing on the wall it had the right veneer of a maid café in a less than reputable area and Marinette could see why a place like this in such an area had been able to get away with it as she took her spot and got to work.

That was what she really hated and why she couldn't wait for Tokage to get to the bathroom, take her eye out, and confirm that this was where the drugs were being made, Edgeshot hadn't had time to do that when he'd used Foldabody to spy as his priority then had been to make sure this was a drug front, so that the cops on standby, who didn't have the authority to go in without visual proof, could act and come in to arrest the gang while Mt. Lady and the students preserved the evidence. That would end up being one of the longest hours of Marinette's life as she kept going to and from the tables with the orders.

The one thing that Marinette had to begrudgingly give this group was that they were running a smooth operation. When someone sat down in Marinette's assigned section she'd go over after a few minutes with her notepad, reach the table and ask the master or mistress depending on the gender what they wanted and then took their order.

Most were regulars here, so they didn't care about the new maid, clearly turnover due to arrests or worse was expected and even with Marinette's accent they just chalked it up to some random temp that was needed for the day, and gave her their order. She'd then take it with the table number to the brawny woman who was the manager maid, and she would then take it through the door and Marinette would wait there.

After a few minutes, the woman would come back with a tray containing the bento box or boxes that had been ordered and Marinette would then take it to the table, thank them for their service and place the bill on it. A special camera in her outfit recorded all of it for evidence, including sound, and she'd then return to her table while either the brawny manager maid or hostess would get the bill. The customers would stay for a few moments to inspect the bento, have a little chat about whatever they wanted, and then take it and leave.

The whole process took less than 10 minutes but with another 10 minutes of the customers waiting made it look like they were at a legit maid café for a simple snack and to enjoy looking at the maids. Marinette was a little taken aback by the efforts this group had made but it was clear that they were successful with it, well until today and that came just after an hour when Tokage was able to go to the bathroom and then came back, eye patch still on, and look around while continued to do her 'job' as if nothing was amiss.

It only took her a few minutes of searching, she was skilled with her Quirk after all, to find the making room. It was hidden behind the café on the side of the corridor that didn't have the bathroom as there was a room behind the wall. It turned out that someone on the crew had an illusion Quirk of some kind and that there was a door in the wall that was hidden by it which the brawny maid would walk through to get the order and take it back to the customers. That was key as it allowed Tokage to get her eye into the hidden room when it was opened and view it.

Inside was a large room that looked like the kind of kitchen you'd find in a café, likely as part of the cover just in case, but was actually used to package the drugs into the bento boxes. A trapdoor in the middle of the room was open and from it people came out with the drugs showing that the manufacturing was done down there and that was what would have to be secured for evidence.

Tokage confirmed this by sending her eye down there as fast as she could to avoid detection and see that it was a huge manufacturing facility underground, one that stretched beyond the foundation of the building with other trapdoors so that drugs could be sold at the bars and clubs on that row as well thus adding to the market distribution of the merchandise. It was all the evidence they needed and as soon as she saw what she needed to see she sent her eye to die in a corner where it wouldn't be noticed and turned to Mt. Lady.

"Yu." Tokage said glad that the woman was next to her at the moment while Marinette was getting an order from a group of clear drug users who were trying to decide what they wanted as if they were at an actual café and using Mt. Lady's real first name as the indicator of the signal before giving the go phrase that confirmed that drugs were being made on the premises. "My eyepatch is acting up; can you help me out?"

"Of course." Mt. Lady said as Marinette froze, the hostess coming back towards her having just seated another customer nearby while the brawny maid was nowhere to be seen. "Then it's time. Go!"

At that sirens wailed outside as the microphone in one of the buttons on the dress that Mt. Lady was wearing picked it up and the cops began to surround the place. At the same time Tokage's body exploded as she split int 50 pieces and moved to get through the door and secure the room while Mt. Lady began to call out.

"Attention everyone, get down, I am a pro hero, and you are all under arrest for the purchase of illegal narcotics as well as any outstanding warrants you might have." Mt. Lady yelled as the interior erupted in chaos. "Don't make us…"

"Yeah fat chance, I ain't going to prison." The hostess snarled reaching into the pocket on the apron part of her outfit. "You're…"

Marinette was on her before she finished and with a twist she kicked the hostess hard in the stomach despite the long skirt part of the damned French maid dress she was wearing. The woman gasped as the air was driven from her lungs and dropped the gun she'd pulled from the apron, which would add another charge to her indictment, before Marinette pushed through the kick and blasted her back as hard as she could.

The maids who weren't part of, or at least loyal to, the gang had hit the deck already, so the hostess flew over them and then through the wall with a crash into the startled kitchen filled with drug packers. She slammed into a metal table that was used to put the drugs on for sorting, thankfully with no drugs on it, rolled over it, and right into the open trap door just as Tokage reformed in the back of the room to make sure it was secure.

"Mt. Lady, go secure the kitchen and anything else." Marinette said as she stood still while all the goons in the room pulled weapons or activated Quirks as they surrounded her but none of that phased Marinette in the slightest. "I'll handle the trash up here."

"Are you sure Ladybug?" Mt. Lady asked as she began to head to the kitchen. "You're still only a student."

"Don't worry, being in this mockery of a historic aspect of my culture and especially how it's used for life ruining drugs like this and not to make people happy at least has really pissed me off." Marinette said her tone serious as pink sparkles formed around her. "So, I really need to work off some frustrating and taking out this trash will do nicely for that."

"I'd listen to her." Tokage called out. "Ladybug's the strongest in the year and that's including the boys in my estimation. Her placing in the Sports Festival was more her fault than her actually being beaten."

"Alright then go ahead." Mt. Lady said trusting Marinette especially when the sparkles ended to reveal that a full, 10 foot tall, mech suit had formed around Marinette and it was in a French maid outfit pattern which just made it even stranger. "Yeah, you got this."

"Alright you lot." Marinette said as she got the heads up of her systems as the criminal trash around her gaped at the mech. "Time to face my ultimate move: One Woman Army."

It wasn't a fight. Marinette had a lot of pent up frustration at her team up ending up being her undercover as a French maid to work out and she did so with the villains that were present. None could get through the mech, and she quickly handled them with a mix of tasers and brute force as she'd have to dismiss the item so capture putty or rope wouldn't work as that would vanish as well.

As such it was just a mix of electricity and her punching or kicking the villains, sending some through walls, the front windows, or in the case of the brawny manager maid lodging her halfway through the ceiling, over the course of half a minute. None of these thugs had any actual training so it really wasn't anything to talk about as it was over pretty much as soon as it started.

When it was done Marinette dismissed her item and let herself fall to the ground to stand there as broken furniture, masonry, glass, and several unconscious men and women lay around her. Those who weren't out had surrendered as soon as it was clear that they were no match for the aspiring pro while Tokage and Mt. Lady had brought the others up from the manufacturing facility to watch the end though they'd already surrendered when Mt. Lady giantized to break open the ceiling that was under the alley behind the café, as well as taking out a nearby warehouse, for the cops to come in.

Overall, from the moment Tokage gave the go order to the full surrender was just over 5 minutes and the cops were just arriving, along with some ambulances as they would be needed in a few cases, to haul off the criminals. As this was happening Marinette was just standing in the center panting a little from the effort it took to create her ultimate item though this one had been smaller than normal, and she'd barely used it, so it hadn't taken too much out of her.

"Woah." Mt. Lady said to Tokage as the cops began to take away the criminals. "That was something else."

"Marinette recently faced me and the other 6 girls in my class all at once as part of our training and to see how good she really is, it wasn't even close." Tokage said. "She wiped the floor with us and that was without using her ultimate move which we just saw. Her Quirk allows her to create an item to complete a set goal that she has in her mind and short of destroying that item or getting to her before she can figure out how to use it, it's hard to stop her from completing her goal."

"I recall from the Sports Festival's commentary but I didn't actually realize the extent of it other than that she could go toe to toe with Todoroki at the time." Mt. Lady said her eyes wide as she looked at the half French half Chinese girl. "That was some serious power she just showed. A Quirk like that, no wonder she's a top hero candidate at U.A."

"Most consider her the strongest student in year and it's not just because of her Quirk." Tokage said. "She's got a tactical and unorthodox mind and due to Quirk Marriages in France over the generations she also has enhanced constitution which makes stronger and more durable, as well as more agile, than someone should be at her age though not at the level to be called a Quirk. Hell, it might even be why she's able to handle a Quirk as powerful as Lucky Charm seeing as it requires her body's own energy to use."

"Quirks are physical attributes after all so there is a cost to them." Mt. Lady said. "As good as Gigantification is, I am limited in that I can only switch between my normal and my giant heights."

"And mine is the exhaustion I suffer from regenerating my body if part of me dies while detached." Tokage said. "But with Marinette, her true strength lies in her mind and how she can be utterly ruthless when she wants to be. When I first encountered her abilities back in the Sports Festival it was in the Cavalry Battle. She played my entire class like a violin at it, knew what to do and when not only to beat us with a General Studies student who will be in my class next year but to knock out all of us just to make a point."

"That point being?" Mt. Lady asked.

"My class declared war on hers though I don't care for that other than out of a sense of class pride, I hold no ill will to Class 1-A at all." Tokage said. "Marinette didn't give any indication that she did either. Clearly she did because she made sure we lost in the Cavalry Battle so handily that none of my class advanced to the final round. She had the points to advance thanks to her just waiting for the opening salvo to end and then picking off enough to ensure it while leaving everyone else to go after Team Midoriya's points. However, despite this she still went after Tetsutetsu to get his points. Her point was simple. We can declare war on her class, she'll just win it without rising to the bait."

"Clearly." Mt. Lady said as the last of the criminals were led away and the detectives came in for evidence along with the lead one to take their statements. "Alright, come on let's go, we've got some paperwork to do and hopefully Ladybug is calm now. That said, we should probably allow her to take off that dress though I do agree, she looks really cute in it."

Tokage nodded at that, and they headed to Marinette, who was calm and smiling at them as they approached, thought that smile fell when she found out about the paperwork and that was after she'd been told she could at least change before that. That would be a killer but that was how her first random team up assignment ended as she, Tokage, and the hero they were under followed the cops to make sure that all was sorted with the criminals they'd just apprehended.

Thanks to all the paperwork Marinette had to do, a fair bit of it specific to her putting villains through three walls, a glass window, and a ceiling, she was one of the last to return to the common room that night, coming back to the smells of food, the chatter of her classmates, and what not. Almost as soon as Marinette was in she was greeted by Momo who had a look of pain in her eyes.

"Bad?" Marinette asked know exactly what her friend's look was about.

"Bad." Momo said with a nod. "I…"

"Come on, let's get the girls and have some tea in your room." Marinette said kindly as she walked in and began scanning for the other girls. "We can all share stories about our team ups, and you can let it all out. Dealing with Adrien's love of Cat Puns is something that no one should have to do, especially when it's amped up thanks to being with the Wild, Wild, Pussycats."

"Good idea Marinette." Tsu said coming over to them as she and Momo made their way into the common room. "Some of the guys are already doing that in Agreste's room but we wanted to wait for the girls to come for our own one, ribbit. Apparently your boyfriend had a great time, as did Kirishima, so they're regaling some of the guys with their exploits."

"Sounds good minus Adrien no doubt telling all his cat puns so let's grab Sato's latest snacks and debrief." Marinette said as Momo shuddered at the memory of her team up, she could handle everything about it and had learned a lot, but the cat puns were just too much for her and she'd barely made it out with her sanity intact. "We all need it. Gather the troops Tsu, it's girl time."

Tsu nodded as Marinette went to get Sato's latest baked good, promising to give him feedback later as all the girls wanted to enjoy them, before going to Momo, who was still a little spacy, and leading her to her room. Marinette knew exactly what Momo had been through and she needed this the most, thankfully making tea would help Momo a lit, but all the girls did so what better than to trade stories and have fun at the same time.

With that the first day of team ups during their third semester ended. There would be more and several of them would have interesting adventures including a hunt for a blond prince charming who saved a girl that turned out to be Fat Gum minus his fat, massive mix up Kaminari and Todoroki had with Yoarashi and Shishikura of Shiketsu involving going to the wrong place in the wrong town and making soba noodles, though at least they did save the store from a couple of villains, one with Bakugo, Todoroki, Kirishima, and Camie Utsushimi from Shiketsu at an amusement park that were to come, and an interesting team up that Ojiro and Hagakure had on an island that ended with Hagakure giving Ojiro a kiss on the cheek though she still denied to afterwards by claiming it was just her fingers.

However, only one was truly of note and it was coming for the students who commanded, or at least knew, the abyss. They just didn't know what was truly in store for them when their team up came to them from Japan's oddest hero.

I think that's a good place to end the chapter on, a little tease for what is to come. For those who know the team up manga series I am sure that you can guess what is about to come and which pro it is but naturally there's a nice little twist to it from the Miraculous factor in this series. That will be the second of the two chapters based off, or inspired by, the team up manga books and the only one to actually delve into one of the team ups that actually happened as this chapter was just using the idea to create a good chapter for this arc with the only part based off the manga being the start of Izuku, Ochaco, and Bakugo's one with Mirko (minus the Marinette reference of course) and the stuff mentioned in the penultimate paragraph are all from the first two books (the third one didn't have anything noteworthy in it). The rest of this chapter was nice original fun for the time skip arc even if Momo had to suffer like that, and Marinette to an extent as well, but all this is just another lesson on the path to being a pro. Anyway, that is all that I for y'all so I will leave this chapter off here. As always, if you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads. Do keep the reviews coming as I like hearing from y'all as you enjoy my work, it motivates me to keep producing the best work I can for y'all to enjoy. Until next time.
