Here it is, the 133rd full chapter of Miraculous Quirks released on time as always. At long last the time has come to conclude the special time skip arc and what better way to complete it then with a special chapter that is unlike any other and really helps hype and set up what is about to come. It's been a very long time since there was a chapter like this but I felt that it was a good place for it and a way to wrap up this special arc that covers the time skip with a good mix of original content, fun activities, and bringing in some supplental work from the MHA universe with a little originality of my own. Anyway, that is all the administrative stuff that I have for you, however, and there are no guest reviews to respond to or questions to answer so I will end this note here. Do keep the reviews coming as I enjoy hearing from y'all. That is all I have for this pre chapter note so that means that it is time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the 133rd full chapter of Miraculous Quirks.

Disclaimer: I do not own either of these great works of fiction.

Chapter 133: Eve of Battle

"Are you here to pull me out of Japan?"

Mage asked the question in ancient Greek, the official language of the Guardians and technically his mother tongue if he was said to have one, the moment he sensed the presence appear on the rooftop behind him though he didn't turn around to deal with it. Rather he just remained where he was as he crouched on the ledge that ran around the rooftop of one of the highest building in Jaku and looked out over the city as it was laid out below him his eyes trained on the hospital that was illuminated in the distance.

In keeping with his position Mage was in his usual Guardian attire complete with robe so that his hood pulled over his head to hide his face in the shadows of the cowl though the fabric. Of course that wasn't actually necessary as a combination of his own spells and the special properties of the cloak itself ensured that only those who held the same rank as him could see him as he brooded here but having the hood up just felt aesthetically right.

It was the dead of night, the sky pitch black but for the stars that dotted it, visible due to the lack of light pollution in Jaku, and while the city not dark per se it certainly wasn't illuminated like it would be if they were in a place like Tokyo or Osaka. It was the perfect time for Mage to come here, crouch down, think about what was to come and how there was absolutely nothing that he could do to help out with it.

That was because the mission to take down the combined forces of the Meta Liberation Army and the League of Villains, now known as the Paranormal Liberation Front, would be going down in less than 8 hours' time. Months of planning and preparations, most of it thanks to the intel that Hawks had provided the HPSC following his infiltration of the Paranormal Liberation Front, was culminating in this mission to end the threat Japan faced before it could truly become. All aspects of the mission were now in place, and the various players ready for it, so it was just a matter of waiting for the go order.

For the students of U.A. who were involved in this it meant that they were already in position having arrived at their locations a few hours ago. For most it in the forest that surrounded the Gunga Mountain Villa but was several kilometers away from it where all but four would remain as part of the rear guard when the mission began or camping out in the woods that were on a nearby hill that overlooked Jaku but wasn't near either the building that Mage was on or the hospital as they got some rest before the mission.

While Mage couldn't be there, he did have sidekicks in the field as Fei and BB had been requested and subsequently assigned to the villa raid team. They were the only members of the Guardian Agency that would be part of that attack and were there due to a mix of their raw strength and an S-Class threat that was confirmed to be under the villa which thus necessitated Fei's presence and authorization to use her dragon form on should the threat activate. The rest of the Guardian Agency who were involved were near Jaku for the evacuation including Adrien and Marinette as part of their work study.

They were who Mage was most concerned about right now and the reason why he wanted to be aiding them tomorrow. This mission could go very wrong, so much so that not even Demos had an idea of what could go down, or at least he wouldn't say if he'd seen any potential futures regarding it, and Mage had swallowed his pride to ask the annoying man for help. As such he was worried about his charges.

It was only natural for him to worry though seeing as he had failed them centuries ago when his mistake had cost them the lives that they knew and thrust them into this future they could never have envisioned. He'd been working to make it up to them ever since and double so since they returned to the timeline though they showed him how strong and resilient they were by quickly adapting, embracing, and fitting into this new age they were in.

Now, though, they faced their toughest challenge yet, one with a real possibility of death, so despite his immortality he still felt for them and hoped they could survive. It would be a waste to him if they'd died so soon after getting a second chance at a long and happy life even if they'd chosen this path once again and fully knew the risks associated with it.

In fact, Mage cared for all the heroes involved, humanity may be a fleeting thing to an immortal such as himself and he'd seen countless generations of it come and go in his long life but that didn't mean that he didn't care for the different generations he interacted with. That was especially true in this day and age seeing as the heroes of the world served almost as an extension of the Guardians' mission to preserve balance in the world by holding back the villains.

That was the greatest benefit of this Age of Quirks, it had allowed the Guardians to be more involved in the world than they had been in millennia. However, even with that there were still limits which was why they had the Guardian Agency to get around, or at least work within, those limits.

Alas it was because of his status as a Guardian that Mage couldn't actually participate in the upcoming mission as it would be a clear violation of the oaths he'd made upon ascending and despite all his best efforts he'd not found a loophole. Therefore, without a useful tie to participate, though even then he had to keep his powers in check, he'd been forced to sit this out using the standard excuses one with the rank of Guardian had to use.

Mage had hoped that they'd find some tie to the Vengefuls like they had with the Hassaikai investigation, the Meta Liberation Army was just up their alley and they had an international following, but after they'd uncovered two senior Vengefuls and captured one during that raid it seemed like they'd abandoned Japan entirely. As such, while there was some tangible evidence of international action, enough to allow the Guardian Agency in general to participate in the raids, there wasn't enough that could authorize Mage himself to act.

That international element, helped by the capture of Boom, had enabled the Guardians to bring in sidekicks from various agencies in the area, mainly the ones in Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Singapore but there were some from the Jakarta and Sydney locations as well, to assist with the MLA cell raids throughout Japan. That was allowed and actually necessary as the strength of the Meta Liberation Army, along with how spread out it was, was too great for just the Japanese heroes to handle so bringing in the trusted international agency really helped the HPSC out.

However, without direct confirmation of Vengeful involvement Mage was stuck on the sidelines. All he could do was make sure that as much support as he could give was given and that he'd set it up so that Adrien and Marinette could enjoy tonight together in peace, that was the least he could do for them.

However, that was all he could do but perhaps with the presence that had just arrived he might be able to argue his case for some kind of exception depending on the answer to his question. It didn't come immediately, which wasn't great as it meant that the being behind Mage was thinking on it, but Mage knew who was here which meant that this was serious as normally it would be someone else so he'd wait until after his question was answered before making his case.

"No, I'm not." Came the male sounding response a few moments later though it came in English for the being preferred to speak in the language of the nation the Guardians called home. "If that had been my goal I would have ordered you back to where the flame of western civilization burns to discuss this with you. You're actions and current concerns do not rise to such an order or a formal audience before the Primordials, yet, but it has necessitated a visit. Besides, given what may happen and what you've been up too recently I need to have a portion of my essence here to authorize things should it come to it as it will likely need my personal touch to smooth it over."

"It will, I'm sure of it." Mage said reverting to English as well, he did prefer that language personally, not looking up as he heard the man, it was just easier to think of the being as a man because he'd been made male, behind him before he leapt up to stand on the top of ledge but his words to Mage made it clear that this was a serious meeting. "I know that it can't be seen, that the future is in flux at the moment, but I am sure that it will come to it. Call it eons of experience with watching the countless wars humanity as waged amongst itself but you know better than I do the whims and fluctuations of human war so you can feel it as well, can't you."

"Yes I can, it's not hard to feel it." The man responded seriously. "It's in the air, thicker than I've felt since the advent if not before as the Quirk Wars kinda just happened, this has been planned by both sides. Perhaps back in 1939 or 1914 or even further back in 1848 and earlier but certainly not since that incident in 1962 were humanity came the closest to destroying itself at the very least. What is coming is a great change, one that will rock the whole world no matter how it plays out only this time the change is occurring in the far east, as the humans call it, and not in Europe like it used to when the repercussions were global. Tomorrow will be a day that humanity shall never forget."

"Then you should know why I wish to aid them." Mage said his tone just as serious as the other man's. "They could use our help and you know that I'm right there. Is it not in our mandate to protect the line between order and chaos? Should we not do that now when the chance of the latter happening and potentially plunging the world into another Quirk War is a very real possibility? Answer me, tell me why I must stand back? Dominus."

Dominus, the Master Guardian and the only one who Mage considered his superior, though he did defer to the other Primordial Guardians when he was around them or gave orders as they were truly forged from their elements, was the man who'd arrived. Mage knew that this was coming, he'd been getting too involved in human matters since Adrien and Marinette returned to the timeline and while a good portion of it could be explained away and was allowed by their oaths, some like active participation in the raid were not so trying to find a way to participate in them had garnered this visit.

This was because Mage was getting too close to humanity and thus might risk violating his oaths and causing some serious repercussions for humanity should he do that so needed a reminder of what was at stake if he did violate them. Dominus being here was enough to drive that home and as much as Mage didn't want to deal with this kind of lecture he was grateful that the Master Guardian had shown up to reign him in as he didn't want to make things worse with a violation, which knowing the nature of the oaths was all but guaranteed.

This wasn't the first time a Guardian had strayed too close to the line, hell a few had actually violated their oaths in the past though Mage didn't want to remember what happened when a violation occurred, nor would it be the last time a Guardian got too close like Mage had done. After all, they may be immortal beings but they were still flawed for no being was truly infallible or perfect.

They'd all made mistakes that had caused issues even without causing a violation, Mage knew his recent one involving Adrien and Marinette was a big one but he'd long lost count of all the mistakes that the Guardians had made, and so when a Guardian blurred the edges of their oaths and came too close to humanity they needed to be talked to. This would be conducted by one of the Primordial Guardians, the original Guardians created by Chaos to aid Dominus in his mission for they understood the mandate the best but seldom did Dominus himself conduct one of these talks.

Apparently this was such a time though Mage presumed that it was because Dominus had been more active than usual in the situation with Adrien and Marinette as he'd been the one to locate them after Mag's screw up but still if he was here then Mage knew he was very close to a violation, closer than even Mage had realized. That hadn't prevented him from asking the question and when Dominus continued to not respond he slowly rose to his full heigh in his current body and turned to face the man who'd made him the Guardian of Magic and seeing him really showed Mage just how serious this was.

That was because Dominus, who wasn't looking at him but also looking out over Jaku with his cloak's hood up so that it hiding his face from Mage as he stared towards the hospital as well, was wearing his official cloak and not the one he normally word. That meant that he had the shirt on under it and both were in his color.

It was common knowledge to anyone who knew about the Guardians that they all had a designated color, it was kinda their thing that they'd incorporated into their hero cover, and that that color often associated with their element. Well, that was true in most cases as those like Mage who's element was esoteric or those with more colorless and intangible ones they got to chose their color. Regardless that rule was true even for the Master Guardian. He rarely wore his cloak and shirt but when he did, when he showed the color of his own element, it was a serious affair.

Even within the organization there were secrets that only a few were privy to and one such secret was the Master's element. Only those who attained the rank of Guardian learned what it was, a result of ascension in fact, and it could only be spoken when no one else but a fellow Guardian could hear it. To those who knew of Dominus and his nature they just thought of him as the Master Guardian, the being created by Chaos himself after the creation of the universe and charged alongside the Primordial Guardians, created shortly after Dominus, to preserve the balance between chaos and order.

That was why he could use any element that had been assigned to a Guardian though at weaker level compared to that element's Guardian who was naturally stronger than Dominus was with even if it was one of the 4 primordial elements though the gap between Dominus and those Guardians was more pronounced. It was also why Dominus's Quirk was officially recorded as Elemental Replication and followed the principals of how Dominus could use the elements. It was also why he, above all other Guardians, had such restrictions on his powers, how he could use them, and what he could do.

All that said, Dominus still had an element like the other Guardians, the one element he couldn't give away for it was who he was in his core, it was the element he guarded. That was because Dominus was, before all else including being the Master Guardian, the Guardian of Chaos.

Dominus had been forged by Chaos from nothing thus ensuring that Dominus was the primordial embodiment of it and so long as Dominus existed, chaos could never truly reign supreme as he was the last line of defense against it running rampant in the world. It was his mandate to guard chaos, why he was the Master Guardian and why he could use the other elements for such was the true nature of chaos but it was also his curse for it was the biggest limiter on what he could do for he was always holding back the chaos of the world.

It was because of this role that Chaos had created the Primordial Guardians to aid Dominus in his mandate and why Dominus had the power to create a new Guardian so that together they could uphold this mandate. Together they had done this for eons and would likely do this for eons to come but the true depth of their nature was known only to those who guarded an element for within all of them a spark of chaos was infused by Dominus that granted them their Guardianship.

Regardless, this meant that Dominus did have a color and it was one only a Guardian could look at for anyone else would go mad at seeing it for not even an immortal brain could process it but to someone like Mage it held an odd, mesmerizing beauty to it for it was because of chaos that he held the power he held today. The color itself manifested in a pure, roiling, gray that was indescribable beyond that.

It wasn't the dark, steel-like gray the Guardian of Metal had nor the light near smokey gray of the Guardian of Air but the purest form of gray that was beyond human comprehension. It was something else to behold and because of that Dominus only wore his color when he needed to make a point. That was why he'd worn it to come see Mage so he was going to listen and accept whatever Dominus had for him though he'd make his case to at least act in some manner tomorrow as Dominus would let him.

It also told Mage how close he'd come to being recalled to the base and reprimanded which would mean a summoning to the Chamber of the Primordials to go over his actions. That was the higher of the two council chambers in the main base in America that was where Dominus and the Primordial Guardians met in council while the Chamber of Guardians was for all with the title and was where they would meet whenever summoned to discuss the running of their Order.

"Because this is purely a human affair as far as we have been able to deduce." Dominus said not turning to face Mage as finally answered Mage's questions. "I know that you have tried, we all have because of the chaos that will be wrought if the heroes are utterly defeated, or even if they don't fully succeed in this mission given the nature of the villains involved, but nothing points to divine intervention from any of the few remaining pantheons or deities in the world nor have we uncovered evidence that Vengeance and her followers are involved so we must let the humans sort this out themselves."

"You know she's like a cockroach, just because you can see her and her followers doesn't mean that she'd not there." Mage pointed out. "And unlike the others, I, as a Guardian, know what I'm looking for. Fei understands it as she's part of the Clandestine unit but with how long that woman's been in the shadows for Fei's never really understood her or her organization."

"That may be but unlike us they can meddle more, I fear that my father's hand may be involved for even though he created me, he was still beholden to his own nature and there is no true way to reason with or restrain Chaos." Dominus said his tone a little weary and Mage understood, this was a longstanding theory for how Vengeance became what she was but without capturing her they'd never learn the truth of how she became what she became. "We may still find that connection, your capture of Scimitar showed us that they are still active, but for now this is purely a human issue so you know our oaths, our role in this world, you know that you must stand down Mage. You cannot fight tomorrow."

"I know but I had to ask just in case." Mage said with a sigh. "It's why you're wearing your colors, isn't it?"

"I wore them to make a point my friend." Dominus said his tone lightening slightly. "And because I can when it's just us Guardians as I seldom get to wear them given the drawback they have on minds that have not touched my element. Mainly though it is to make it clear to you that should you violate the oaths you made, the sacrifices you understood when you accepted my offer to become a Guardian millennia ago and were granted the element of magic, will result in punishment."

Mage knew that and he'd rather not face it. While he'd never do anything that could lead to stripping of his Guardianship, that was the ultimate penalty and reserved only for treason against the Guardians which had happened just once back when he was just a Sub-Guardian, but if he did help and especially if he used more of his true power in the process which would be a really bad violation then he would be punished.

That would likely mean a certain number of years he couldn't participate in human affairs to be determined by the nature and extent of the violation though they'd be longer than a normal human lifespan. While that was but a blink in the eye of a Guardian, but still bad and Mage didn't want that.

He still had so much to make up for when it came to Adrien and Marinette. His mistake had cost them more than any had for humans at the hands of a Guardian in a long time because they'd been blasted 230 years into the future with no way to return, so he had to make sure that they still had a good life and Mage would repay that debt for as king as they lived.

"I understand, I won't get involved, you have my word on my own oaths and my honor as the Guardian of Magic that I will remain in the shadows and watch for that is what we do and the sacrifices we make when we accepted the position you honored us with." Mage said lowering his head in acceptance of the command to stand down. "And besides, I have a debt to those two that I must repay while they live so I can't be removed until then. If you had come to remove me and I was to be punished for a violation then I'd have pleaded for a suspension of it until they died but you haven't, I won't risk it don't worry."

"I probably would have granted that suspension providing the violation wasn't too bad but to do so you'd have been removed from involvement with humanity for at least twice if not thrice the combination of years those two lived for in addition to the length prescribed by the violation." Dominus said seriously and while that would still be at most 500 or so years to Mage it was still a lengthy sentence and with the future always unknown, just look at the advent of Quirks, it was not worth the risk. "But I know that you have this debt to clear, your mistake with the Miraculouses, while it didn't reveal itself for millennia, was still your mistake and it did cost them their lives as they knew it in a way that few should face."

"I know, there are times when humans end up displaced but this was a direct result of my own failures." Mage said. "It's why I've been doing all that I can for them."

"You've already done more than enough; you've gone above and beyond what was required to repay such a debt." Dominus said. "Do not forget that to beings like us that time was but a blink of an eye, even if it was a more interesting time in human history in eons."

"I know but that still doesn't make up for what I did, for messing with a force like time as I shouldn't have done that." Mage said. "Magic is an element unlike any other, you know that better than anyone but me as you recognized it as a valid element in this world in need of a Guardian, and I messed up with it. There is a reason why you've never given someone time as an element and so I must make up for that mistake even if it is above and beyond what such a debt would require. So long as it is within my ability and oaths I'll help them out, at least until they're out of school and established here."

"You've done that and then some, making their Miraculous powers their Quirks, preserving their familial roots and growing their family's wealth and influence while waiting for them to return and looking over them while they are here in a foreign culture that they've now embraced, it's admiral Mage and all within board if skirting the edge at times." Dominus said and Mage smiled a little at the praise in his old friend and mentor's voice before the rebuke came. "But it has also brought you too close to humanity and you know it as well. That is why you are here overlooking that hospital, that is why you wish you can participate and show your true power which you can't do, and why I am here to remind you of that."

"There's got to be something that I can do though." Mage said trying to keep the imploring tone out of his voice and doing a good job at it, he thought. "I've done all that I can think of to get around things, this is why we have the clandestine unit for people like Fei and thankfully the Meta Liberation Army is international so we can send the sidekicks who aren't within the main Sub-Guardian organization in to help out but that's all it seems."

Mage paused for a moment as he expected Dominus to have some words for him at that, maybe even a suggestion but he remained silent. Mage waited a little longer just in case Dominus was doing a long contemplation again but when no answer came he continued with his case that he was now making to Dominus.

"I want to be able to help while I can." Mage said resuming his argument to do something. "I know I'm too close to the situation, it's been a long time since I let this happen, but I can't help it. I know you said that it is just a blink of an eye that is what a human lifespan is to us after all, but because of my mistake I've been involved with this shit for 230 years, that's about 3 human lifetimes so it's been longer than just a blink of an eye for me. I should be able to do more for them given what they're facing and then when they've lived a good, happy, and long life, I can allow their deaths and moving onto Elysium end my debt to them."

Mage kept looking at Dominus as he spoke but Dominus continued to not reply to him likely mulling over Mage's words. The being who was older than any other that Mage had ever encountered was still looking out, well this small portion of his essence at least, and deep in thought which Mage took as a good sign. It meant that Dominus was considering his request and not outright denying it, which showed Mage that there might be a way he can assist so he waited for the answer.

"You're very close to the edge and you know it but so long as you remain out of the fight then perhaps there is something I can allow for, something that would bend our vows but not break them." Dominus said after a few moments but still not looking at Mage. "But only if certain criteria are met as it would certainly toe the line as it is bent but providing that the humans involved are nothing more than insignificant fleas in the service of those who will bring chaos and not actual players in this coming war it should be doable."

"What is it?" Mage asked keeping the desperation from his voice. "So long as I can help I'll abide by the conditions you set."

"We may not be able to get involved with the war without good cause for that would be interfering with the fate of an event that is critical to the course of humanity but so long as it's after the fact and someone not relevant in the long term it won't affect anything." Dominus said which Mage knew to be true though given divine intervention in many past human conflicts it had been a long time since they'd dealt with a purely human war with such consequences. "So, if someone close to those two, be it a fellow student or one of their teachers but only a student or teacher, and they are murdered by villains then you can, after the fact, exact justice upon the killers in any way you see fit."

"That makes sense." Mage said understanding what Dominus was saying even if he'd hoped for more than just justice but he'd take what he could get. "We do have some leeway there but you mentioned insignificant fleas, I take it to mean that the murderers have to be low level grunts and not the big fish of this war."

"Correct, if the killing blow is dealt by someone who is high ranking, someone on the HPSC most wanted list that they've released for this mission of theirs, so basically the members of the League of Villains, the senior officers of the Meta Liberation Army, or that giant monster thing, then you can't act." Dominus said. "They are the big players, the ones who will dictate the course of the battle for that side just as the senior heroes and those who have been chosen by Fate like Izuku Midoriya will for the side of order and as such interference will be a violation of our oaths."

"Of course, the ones marked by Fate herself are clear to see." Mage said. "I've noted them all this year and I know that Adrien and Marinette are two such people. That is why I've been able to avoid acting already because I am certain action would be a violation and I've already caused too much harm to them with my actions, I can't cause anymore."

"Humans who Fate has chosen are easy to see and perhaps Fate made it such that those two would end up here as the timing of the revelation of your mistake was rather interesting to say the least." Dominus said, which Mage nodded at as he'd had similar thoughts ever since seeing the impact those two had had on this age. "But such quandaries are not relevant for even after all my time in existence I still do not understand the fickleness of Fate. Regardless, low level grunts are of no consequence in the currents that Fate has woven, they're a dime a dozen and so removing a few of them won't affect anything."

"Those who are touched by Fate will always have those who support them in such a manner that Fate dictates." Mage said. "But I get your point there."

"All mortal beings are at the whims of Fate but the true makers of humanity's destiny are the ones chosen by her." Dominus said. "As such you may get some minor repercussions going forward, such is the nature of our existence, but nothing unmanageable or that would rise to a violation so long as they are not important in whatever Fate's grand scheme is."

"I understand and am willing to accept those repercussions when they come." Mage said with a nod. "But what if there is an assist in the killing?"

"Assist?" Dominus asked a little taken aback by Mage's question. "Elaborate."

"Like say that a teacher or student is injured but not killed by a high level villain and then attacked in that wounded state by low grade trash who otherwise wouldn't stand a chance against that teacher or student." Mage said. "What are the allowances there?"

"The killers can be dealt, if they can't beat a student, let alone a teacher, without them being injured first then they clearly aren't going to affect the grand scheme of this so they aren't of any significance to Fate but not those who set up for they clearly are." Dominus said after a slight pause to clearly think on Mage's question. "That should be fine though only once the teacher is dead. It is unfortunate that we must wait for that, for his or her soul to enter Elysium or whatever constitutes eternal bliss for good deeds done in one's mortal life in accordance with that person's beliefs, but such is our limitation in this matter. Do you understand this, Mage?"

"I do and I accept the conditions and parameters that have been given me." Mage said with a bow of his head. "I'll remain in the shadows during this, watching the events unfold so that should I have to act I'll be able to do so. When that happens I'll transport the killers to a location in international waters and deal with them as I see fit."

"Make sure that you are not seen should you act in accordance with this prescription for we are still bound by human laws as well now that we pretend to be heroes." Dominus said. "We can't jeopardize that either. This Age of Heroes has allowed us unprecedented interactions and access to humanity along with greater ways to ensure that our own goals are maintained now that stability in this age has been achieved, we can't afford to lose that for something as human as petty vengeance. That is what Vengeance uses to justify her eternal war on us, we must never become like her."

"I concur, I will be sensible and act accordingly should the situation arise." Mage said seriously. "Do not worry, Dominus, I was a Sub-Guardian during our civil war and saw what that bitch did to my brothers and sisters in service to the Guardians, I'll never let myself become like that."

"I worry for your connection to those two for that could risk violating your vows but I do not worry that you will give into something as base as revenge for you've proven yourself over and over again since I granted your Guardianship." Dominus said. "You and those who formed the other three who joined you in the reformation of the Sub-Guardians in the wake of our civil war know this better than perhaps any of our brothers and sisters in Guardianship so I know that I don't have to worry on this front old friend."

"Thank you, even after all these years you continue to remind me why it is an honor to be part of this Order." Mage said before adding something that was on his mind now that he'd gotten as much as he could get and wasn't going to be recalled so he could slightly shift the topic. "What will you be doing during this mission? You said that you had to be here to help authorize things but where will you be?"

"I'll be near the command center that the HPSC has set up for this thing as that is the only place I can be, and should that girl use the Miraculous she's been lent I will immediately authorize the use of that special hero you made to explain her away." Dominus said. "And make sure things are legit on that end but if she does use it she's going to have some explaining to do to the rest in her class if she's seen and that will almost certainly lead to the truth of those two. Are you all ready for that?"

"I am aware of the likely consequences of Yaoyorozu using the Horse Miraculous, as are Adrien and Marinette." Mage said. "They're ready for that though, this is too important not to have the aid of another Miraculous and if it requires them to explain things and reveal their past then they will."

"If possible, try to avoid revealing the full extent of the Guardians." Dominus said. "Just keep it at you, we can't afford to be too well known and it is a bit of a pain to explain ourselves to humans as it can take time to convince them that we're not some crackpots."

"This is where magic is useful, my element gives me greater persuasive abilities given what I can do with it." Mage said with a grin at the memory of turning Bakugo into a Pomeranian. "When used right it can explain a lot and the spells of secrecy on the few who know the truth of our order will help keep it. I may have to expand it to the class if necessary but just them and only if it come to it."

"There will be some pushback to interfering with that many humans but this is a must for our order to maintain its cover and legitimacy within this new age of humanity so do what you see fit." Dominus said. "In this instance I'll take the heat from the divine realm because I am the Master so it is my responsibility."

"Thank you." Mage said and he meant it. "I am sorry for putting such a thing on you but this is a risk that is necessary to preserve the balance here, we cannot allow humanity to fall into chaos after we came so close to the brink during the last set of Quirk Wars. A new one, after so much peace, may push humanity past the brink."

"No we cannot which is why I am fine with that risk and tomorrow will be a day of great importance in the course of humanity." Dominus said seriously. "For the human world as we know it teeters on the very brink of chaos in a way that not even the great wars of humanity before the advent saw for those were but mundane human things that while destructive had a clear end but the advent of Quirks has changed things in ways no one could have seen. The closest would be during the height of that Cold War that happened when the threat of nuclear annihilation existed. Human evolution, it truly is a strange thing to cause something like Quirks to manifest. No deity could have done that or seen it coming."

"It took us all by surprise but we've adapted because of it." Mage said. "The pantheons may not have done well for the advent caused many, especially in the west, to forget about the ancient deities, but our order prevails."

"We do because mandate ensures that we will always prevail because so long as the world exits then so will I and the Primordial Guardians and thus so does my power which means the other Guardians who I've granted elements to protect." Dominus said. "We've been here before and come out in the end even if we had to witness pure evil within humanity, good still prevailed in the end in those cases and so we must continue to have faith in it that it can preserve order. It is just different this time because it is occurring in the east and because of actions of eastern actors and not western ones. Well that and Quirks are involved and those things are certainly different."

"There have been incidents in this region before but yes the west tended to be more destructive and by their own actions critical in the direction of humanity in the past." Mage said. "But regardless we have our duty and I may have been shaken by my closeness to things but I will still do it."

"I trust you to do so Mage for that is all we can do." Dominus said. "It is our duty even if it means watching from the shadows to see how the war unfolds and letting what happens happen for we cannot interfere in what the future holds for humanity. Such is our nature and our burden."

"I dislike it but I understand, I made the choice millennia ago for this life when I was offered Guardianship so I will uphold those oaths." Mage said. "And watch as tomorrow plays out while hoping the allowance I have does not come to pass as I do not wish for those kids to go through what that would mean."

"Good, that is all I needed to hear from you and so now I shall take my leave and make sure that I am in position for what is to come." Dominus said. "Goodbye Mage, I'll see you soon."

With that Dominus just vanished though Mage had expected that. There wasn't much more to say regardless so Mage turned back and looked at the hospital that would be the core of the Jaku part of the mission tomorrow as he thought on Dominus's words. The Master Guardian had spoken the truth to Mage, he knew it even if he didn't like what that truth meant, and he'd honor his oaths to stay away from the affairs of humans like this as the situation dictated it.

Still, he couldn't help but feel that Fate had things in store for them and that tomorrow would change humanity in ways that few events had done so in history. That would come though and after a few more moments of contemplating things Mage vanished himself and left Jaku in the hands of humanity trusting that the heroes would preserve the balance and prevent Japan from falling into chaos when the sun set tomorrow.

"There are heroes at the foot of the mountain who will be in charge of going into the hospital and arresting Dr. Garaki for his many crimes and securing Shigaraki." Burnin, one of Endeavor's top sidekicks and the hero in charge of this part of the mission, said to the gathered pros and handful of U.A. students with them as they stood on a hilltop overlooking the sprawling city of Jaku below them. "We, on the other hand, are the evacuation team who will make sure that the residents are safely removed from the city from our position in the back. Understood?"

The gathered heroes and students either nodded or just looked serious and ready for what was to come. Izuku was one of them as the Endeavor Agency besides Endeavor himself were running the evacuation along with the Wash, Ryukyu, and Manual Agencies and other assigned heroes and students like Dupain-Cheng and Agreste who were with a contingent from the Guardian Agency, both of whom looked as serious as Izuku had ever seen them look. That was understandable as he felt the same.

The time for the largest mission in the history of the HPSC was upon them and they would all do their jobs as the heroes finally brought the fight to the Paranormal Liberation Front and ended the threat that they posed before they could unleash that threat on the nation. This meant that the incident that would shake the superhuman society that they lived in was upon them because whether they wanted it to or not, the Paranormal Liberation War had begun.

Well there it is, the end of the time skip arc and our heroes are now in place and ready to begin so I couldn't resist a cliffhanger ending like that. Finally, the time has come to begin the Paranormal Liberation War arc and see how Adrien and Marinette affect it along with how their past actions have led to other things that will change this from canon but y'all will just have to wait and see how all that will play out. This chapter was very different to most given that it was a rare, near pure, OC focused one for the first time since the Prologue 1.2 million words and 133 chapters ago but I felt it was a good way to wrap up this special arc while also explaining what Mage's restrictions will be and why he's not playing a part in this arc as well as giving some more lore to my OCs because I like doing that at times. Anyway, that is all that I have for y'all so I will leave this chapter off here. As always, if you like it or have any questions please let me know in reviews or PMs, I will try to answer them as best I could and post any questions asked between uploads at the start of the next chapter and do follow and favorite this, so you are alerted to future uploads. Do keep the reviews coming as I like hearing from y'all as you enjoy my work, it motivates me to keep producing the best work I can for y'all to enjoy. Until next time.
