Shortly after things had settled down, everyone was outside the medical room that had been created in one of the larger buildings in town.

"I don't know how she survived but she's fine," said Ozpin.

"Okay, but what are we going to do now that there is only one relic left?" asked Jaune as he leaned against a wall.

"Storm Salem's castle," said Ruby at the same time she stood at a window.

"That's way too dangerous and reckless," said Ren.

"Yeah, we can't just fight her without a plan and even if we took all the Hunter and Huntresses along with the soldiers we would still be no match for her at the moment," said Yang.

"Did you really think I don't have a plan?" asked Ruby while turning around to face them.

"My plan is to get the staff and have Ambrosius create another portal to the Ever After," she said.

"Why would you want that?" asked Winter.

"We can't kill Salem, she's already proven that time and time again, and she can control Grimm from anywhere in the world as long as the grimm pits exist," said Ruby.

"But we can lock her away in a world without any Grimm to control," she said.

"Which will then put those people in danger from her; even without the pits, Salem is far stronger than any Grimm," said Jaune.

"We saw countless times that what is common for our world is different over there, the Ever After is quick to adapt to whatever it is facing," said Ruby.

"Plus Salem should weaken over time without the grimm pits around for her to draw power from and sooner or later she will die," said Ozpin as he picked up on what Ruby was getting at.

"It's the best plan that we have ever had," said Winter.

"But we'll have to wait till tomorrow to do anything," she said while looking out the window behind Ruby and noticing that it was dark out.

"Then let's make sure to get some good rest tonight," said Raven. Everyone then left, going to their living areas.

"This just keeps getting crazier," said Ozpin.
