Around midnight that night, Ruby was standing outside looking at the sky while standing on the balcony of her room.

"What are you still doing up?" asked Weiss who walked out onto the balcony next to Ruby's.

"Just a lot on my mind," said Ruby without turning to look at her.

"Salem's gone, Ruby, we can relax now and not worry about her anymore," said Weiss as she jumped over to Ruby's side.

"But what about all the damage done?" asked Ruby.

"And we know that not everyone out there is good so I'm sure that there will be others who will use this chance to rise to power in some form," she said while finally turning to face the white haired girl.

"We'll take those problems a day at a time," said Weiss as she wrapped her arms around Ruby's waist, pulling her closer so that their foreheads were touching.

"Point taken," said Ruby.

"But speaking of the future, can you imagine everyone's faces when they find out we have been together for a while now?" she asked while smiling at the other girl.

"Same as us when we found out Crow and Winter were together," said Weiss with a slight laugh.

"Now come on, let's get some sleep," she said while moving so she could grab Ruby's hand and pull her to the door.

"Alright; oh and speaking of Crow, he wanted to talk to me tomorrow before we leave," said Ruby.

"What about?" asked Weiss.

"No clue, he just said that it has to do with a family secret," said Ruby.

"That sounds ominous, do you want me to go with you just in case?" asked Weiss as she closed the balcony door behind her.

"Thanks, but I'll be fine, now let's get to bed," said Ruby. They then climbed into bed and went to sleep facing each other after sharing a kiss.
