The room on the other side of the portal was large and spacious. there were bright red candles strewn all over the floor. they didn't seem to be placed in a pattern, just randomly around the place.

Bill carefully maneuvered his way around the candles, careful not to step on any as he brought Dipper's body up to a throne at the other end of the room.

Atop the throne sat a giant writhing mass of red and black goo. beating like a heart. in fact, maybe it was a heart?

"oh glaaar-aaack" Bill called in a sing-song voice.

"I'm he-re! and I brought you a fresh human corpse to fuel your 1,000 year feast!"

"10,000 YEAR FEAST!" the creature roared

"yeesh, sorry." Bill replied

"but anyway, I got some fresh meat here if you want it!"

A large spider-like tendril reached out from the pile of red and black sludge. Dipper watched as it slowly reached over and poked the body. a single drop of blood came out and instantly soaked into the sludge.

"IS THIS THE ANNOYING HUMAN YOU ALWAYS SPEAK OF"

"yeah! that one with the anxiety disorder!" Bill replied cheerfully

"I COULD USE MORE CORPSES FOR THE FEAST" the beast replied

"WHAT PRICE DO YOU ASK FOR THE HUMAN'S FLESH"

"Oh, nothing much." Bill replied

"Just your eternal servitude!"

"WHAT!?" roared the creature

"I WILL HAVE NO PART IN YOUR PLAN CIPHER"

"whaaat? nooo, you'll love serving me!" Bill replied

"all of my servants rated the experience a 10/10!"

"YOU AND I BOTH KNOW THEY WOULD NOT SPEAK TRUTHFULLY TO YOU" cried the mass of flesh

for a moment he thought Bill looked caught off guard.

"pfffft... no." Bill said untruthfully

"they love me! they would never lie to me!"

"I'VE SEEN YOU TORTURE THEM" the creature replied

"THEY FEAR YOU CIPHER"

"yeah they'd better fear me!"

"anyway I'm offering you this corpse" he gestured to Dipper's limp body

"in exchange for another servant!" Bill explained

The mass of flesh seemed to consider that for a moment.

"IF IT IS SIMPLY A SERVANT THAT YOU WISH, I CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH ONE OF MY MANY FOLLOWERS" the creature offered

"hmm... no." answered Bill

"IT'S THAT OR NOTHING" the mass roared

"I SHALL FIND THE CORPSES MYSELF"

"ok fine! I'll take one of your loser cultists!" bill replied, rolling his eye

"but I won't be happy about it!"

Bill tossed Dipper's corpse in a pile next to its throne. there were about a hundred other bodies laying there as well. some looked human, and some were clearly not. Dipper wasn't sure exactly how much of an appetite this creature had, but he guessed it would probably need a lot more bodies to keep it eating for 10,000 years.

Bill seemed to consider if he should say anything more, before he ultimately decided that he'd said enough and turned to leave. He walked back the way he came, making sure not to step on any of the many candles that were strewn across the white tiled floor, before stepping through the portal leading back to the market. Leaving Dipper alone in the room with a writhing mass of glowing red an black sludge, and a pile of mostly human corpses.

Dipper was not having the best day ever.

A/N

This chapter was pretty short and mostly dialogue, but a lot of important stuff still happened in this chapter so whatever. sometimes you just get chapters that are mostly dialogue. It also took a while to get the last part sounding right but in the end I think it turned out pretty good. Don't worry, we'll get back into the Bill & Mable Conversation in the next chapter, although judging by the fact that Bill is handing over Dipper's body to Glarack you can probably guess whether he got the rights to the body from Mable ;)
