Harry opened the door to see a tall man in dark black robes, with even darker shoulder-length hair. The man's black eyes widened for a moment, just long enough for Harry to notice. "Harry Potter?" the man asked. "Y-yes, sir," Harry said nervously.
"I am Severus Snape, Hogwarts Potions Professor, and the Head of Slytherin House. Are your guardians home by chance?" Severus asked.
"No, sir, it's just me," Harry replied quickly. "Alright then," the man sighed. "Grab a hold of my arm and we'll be off." Harry looked at him skeptically before gently grabbing his arm. The moment he did, he felt as if he was being pulled through a small pipe by his stomach.
(T_T)
It ended almost as soon as it started. Harry leaned against a nearby wall and took a few deep breaths. His vision was swimming, he felt like he was going to throw up, but forced it back down and looked ahead.
The alley he was in was unlike any he had seen before. Magicals all around him were using magic to levitate books, owls flying ahead; it was simply... magnificent.
"Do you have your list?" the Professor asked. "Yes, sir, right here," Harry said as he handed it to Snape.

"But, sir... Where am I to get the money for all this?" Snape looked questioningly at Harry before responding, "Gringotts Bank, you'll get money from your trust vault." Harry looked surprised, "Trust vault?" he asked.
"Yes," replied Snape, "The Potter Family had quite an abundance of money after all." Harry looked shocked at this. He thought about it as he and Snape walked to the bank. Harry read the inscription on the doorway.
"Enter, stranger, but take heed
Of what awaits the sin of greed,
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay most dearly in their turn,
So if you seek beneath our floors
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned, beware
Of finding more than treasure there."
"That's ominous, to say the least," Harry thought as he walked into Gringotts. "Mr. Snape, what are those?" Harry asked, looking at the creatures working the desks. "Those, Mr. Potter, are Goblins, magical creatures that own this bank and protect the vaults within," Snape answered. Harry nodded as he followed Severus to the front desk.
"We need an inheritance test, please," Snape says, confusing Harry. "For whom?" the goblin asks. "Harry James Potter," Snape replies. The goblin looks down at Harry with a small sneer and calls for another goblin, speaking in an unknown language that Snape later told Harry was "Gobbledygook," the language of the goblins.
"Follow me, Mr. Potter. Your guardian will wait for you here," a new goblin says. Harry looks at Snape for a moment, watching him nod, and slowly follows the goblin to a door. "Go in. The Potter account manager waits."
Harry walked in, not knowing what to expect. He saw a desk, made of dark oak, and a goblin sitting behind it. But what really drew his attention was the coat of arms behind the goblin. It had red and gold colors, a lion, a stag, and... a lion with wings? Below the design was a string of words Harry could not understand: "Novissima autem inimica destruetur mors." Harry read aloud, "The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death." The goblin behind the desk replied.
"What is that?" Harry asked. "The Potter family coat of arms, and I am Ripjaw, the Potter family account manager. Please, sit down, and we will see if you are who you say you are."
Harry sat down in the seat before Ripjaw, slightly nervous, his fears only growing as the goblin pulled out a knife and some parchment. "Do not fear, I only need a little blood, just three drops."
Harry nervously held out his hand. Strangely, though, when the goblin cut him, he didn't feel any pain. As the blood dropped onto the parchment, words seemed to form, and the cut on his hand was already gone.

"What... what does it mean by a Magic Block, and what is a Horcrux, and why does it say I'm one?" Harry asked after a few moments. "It means that when you were younger, a powerful wizard blocked your magic. As for the Horcrux... a Horcrux is a foul piece of magic, most of the time an object, that contains a piece of someone's soul inside it, in order to prolong their life indefinitely."
"I... I have a piece of someone's soul inside me?" Harry asks with a look of fear. 'Oh, you finally figured it out. Took you long enough,' a deep, eerily familiar, voice laughs in the back of his mind. "So... They're not just hallucinations, are they?" Harry asks, though he already knows the answer.
"Unfortunately, they are likely not hallucinations. It is likely that the soul piece residing within you is trying to take over." "How... how do we get rid of it?" "Without killing you? Not currently possible."
"What?" Harry asks, terrified. "In order to destroy a soul piece, you need to use a powerful piece of magic or a magic item, and in all cases, it results in the destruction of the container."
