Welcome back to The Injustice Wars. Last time, we finally figured out where Blaze and Black Adam were when Grodd and Darkblood's wives came to Kahndaq. Turns out, they were waiting in ambush in the Rock of Eternity, and Grodd and Enchantress took the bait. Wonder Woman and Belial Aether would end up following them in, boxing the two villains in. Blaze had intended to hold the two as prisoners to bargain with Brainiac and Darkblood, Wonder Woman though had other plans, as evidenced by how she straight up killed Grodd when he was beaten. Enchantress knew when to give up the ghost and got the heck out of dodge before all of that. Blaze took Wonder Woman's sword and immediately left with Belial Aether in tow, meanwhile Wonder Woman and Black Adam remarked that they needed to prepare their plan, hoping Cyborg was ready. What does all this mean? Read on to hopefully start discovering...

(Our scene opens up back at Legion HQ, where Green Arrow and Black Canary are being examined by Black Diamond to make sure they're free of Darkblood's control. Meanwhile, at the conference table, Blaze is writing an entry in her journal again, with Wonder Woman's sword now by her side. The entry reads as follows:)

"It's been a few days since the mishap in Kahndaq, Brainiac has dispatched more of his ships around the world and has continued to collect cities. Despite our best efforts, Coast City and Atlantis are already stuck aboard his ship. Heck of a way to start out our seventh year in this conflict. Diana refuses to talk to me, no surprise there. That witch has ticked me off for the last time. But I have received reports from Black Adam and Cyborg that they're ready to strike at Brainiac whenever we are. I've sent a message ahead to Vandal Savage, the Republic is ready. And with Black Diamond in the room right now, I know he's ready whenever we are. Brainiac may not show it, but he's desperate. We need to strike soon if we're going to end this madness."

(With that, Blaze concludes writing in her journal and grabs her new sword, freshly confiscated from Wonder Woman, which Batman notices she's testing the weight of)

Batman: Trust me, you won't need to grind much weight off that sword. If anything, we may need to add a bit, since your weight class surpasses Diana.

Blaze: (Rolls her eyes) Thank you for the observation, Bruce. But actually, this is surprisingly the exact weight I need it at.

Batman: Then I take it you're ready to strike.

Blaze: It's not me I'm worried about.

(With no hesitation, Blaze heads over to Green Arrow and Black Canary, checking on their status)

Blaze: How're you two doing?

Black Canary: Honestly, doing a lot better than a few days ago.

Blaze: No long term side effects?

Green Arrow: Not unless it's normal to hear Darkblood's perverse growls all the time.

Batman: (Used to Green Arrow's sense of humor by this point) He'll be fine.

Blaze: Black Diamond? What do you think?

Black Diamond: I sense nothing of Darkblood's corruption on them. Unless they're exposed again, chances are, these two will be perfectly alright.

Blaze: Good to know. Because we've got an announcement to make. (To Batman) Get a call in to Kahndaq and Mongolia. I need to address all of us.

(Within moments, the entirety of the Legion, Insurgency, Republic, and Regime are gathered, either in person or over video feed, ready for whatever Blaze has to say.)

Blaze: Is everybody here?

Vandal Savage: I have everybody here.

Wonder Woman: We're all present as well.

Batman: I've got everybody in our factions.

Blaze: Perfect, then we can begin. (Addressing everyone) For seven years, we've watched as Brainiac menaced this world. But now, we've got everything we need to take him down for good. Tomorrow at dawn, we strike him down and restore what has been lost.

Belial Aether: About time we take action.

Harley Quinn: I'll second that.

Cyborg: For once we're all in agreement.

Blaze: Alright then, here's the plan. Black Adam, we'll need your living lightning to break through Brainiac's force field.

Black Adam: I would need to be within the Rock of Eternity itself to boost the power enough to make that work, but I'm not sure I can send it across a continent.

Blaze: I've got a plan there. Hawkgirl, I'll need you to go to Kahndaq and use your Nth Metal mace as an amplifier. I'll send Blue Beetle and Firestorm to provide additional material if necessary. (To Blue Beetle) Can you generate a Scarab construct separate from your suit?

Blue Beetle: As of a few days ago, yes.

Blaze: (To Firestorm) Can you transmute that construct to Nth Metal? Or even better, something similar to Aquaman's Trident?

Firestorm: So long as I have the chemical formula, the Professor and I can make it work.

Blaze: Something tells me Bruce here has both of them.

Batman: I can transmit either beforehand.

Blaze: Perfect. Now, once the shield is down, we won't have a very large window to get in there. So I'm only taking a small strike team in with me. Bruce, Kara, Belial, Black Diamond, think you four are up to it?

Belial Aether: Ready, willing, and able.

Batman: I'm ready.

Black Diamond: There's no question about it.

Supergirl: A little nervous, but I think I can do this.

Blaze: Good. (To everybody else) The rest of you will keep Brainiac's forces busy on the ground.

?: Think there's room for two more in this little plan?

(Unsure of who just spoke, Blaze looks to the back of the room and sees two figures emerging from a magic portal: Kent Nelson, and surprisingly, John Constantine)

Blaze: Kent? Constantine? What are...?

Kent Nelson: I may not have the Helm of Fate anymore, but I'm not leaving this fight unfinished.

Blaze: (To John Constantine) I thought you were out of this for good?

John Constantine: (Lighting a cigarette) When have I been honest about that?

Blaze: Rose convinced you didn't she?

John Constantine: (Chuckles) She's got her mother's heart and her father's wit. So yeah, I'm in this till that Brainiac bastard is out of this. So you better make sure I get home alive.

Blaze: I'll do what I can, John. In that case, you two will be our backups. Should we need help, I'll put the call in to you two.

John Constantine: Agreeable.

Blaze: Good. Any questions?

(At this rate, nobody has any questions)

Blaze: Good. (Checks the time) Dawn is in a half hour. Prepare yourselves, this day we strike!

(And with a cheer from everyone in the crowd, the scene ends for today)

And that's a good spot to end for today. So, the final assault on Brainiac is about to begin. Speaking of, what's he doing with Grodd now dead? And something tells me Darkblood has a few words on all of this too. Well, more on that next time, so be sure to tune in for that! Same time... same channel!
