Magic is everywhere, the key is to know the many names, whether spoken by your voice or by your hands… only the truly masterful can use magic by simply thinking their name… -Orko the Great
At the Castle of Eternia…
Princess Adora was brushing her hair while her cousin was talking with her.
"So, one of the former Masters of the Universe's weapons was taken from the vault?" Adora wondered while she looked at the hair clips in her wooden box.
"The Sword of Power, belonging to She-Ra before she passed. Your dad allowed no Masters to walk since." Malkyn sighed, still remembering the day he was told the news that they were not-.
"How did you think the witch girl knew about the vault?"
"She couldn't have, not unless someone instructed her so. It has to be her…"
"Who?"
"Oh, um… never mind, just wanted to fill you in on what's going on and why my ever-paranoid uncle is locking us in our rooms, again." The Blue teenager scoffed.
"He just wants to protect us, so he won't lose everyone else…"
Malkyn frowned and turned to the portrait of the royal family, with him Adora… him… her…. Randor…. So much happened at once that day, so little time to react and process and Eternia has suffered everyone. No one could trust the other after the incident, blaming the other for what happened and why the ever-spinning planet Eternos was divided.
"If I could only turn back time."
Within the forest…
"If I could only turn back time. But the Power will give our future back… We will make this right, right this betrayal, bring the magic out of hiding, and give power to the people… as we planned so long ago." Evelyn muttered to herself while she was caressing a very special necklace, "I won't fail again in the mission, the objective we worked so hard…"
"Who are you talking to, Lynne?" Kronis questioned the witch, who only showed a glare before gently letting go of the necklace.
"…just a ghost of the past." She breathed then looked towards the fire near the distance, "And a promise to the future to regain what was unjustly taken from me."
Duncan frowned while he followed the group to the poachers, the wildmen were cooking over a fire, lamenting on their losses.
"R'Qazz will not be pleased we failed to reclaim his prize nor that we were confronted by Wun-Dar… He'll have our hides for this." One of the poachers rumbled, while the poach-bot brought some cooked meat to him.
"Not before he drops us into the pit!" The other poacher fretted over the face, not knowing someone was listening.
"Well, well, well…" Evelyn began, surprising the poachers from behind in a threatening way with Kronis.
"Sounds like you need a new boss," Kronis smirked as they were menacing the poachers.
At the Tiger Tribe Village…
Teala was being guided by the son of the tribe as the people went about their days, but not before giving the outsider a sharp glare.
"Try not to be too weirded out by their stares, Tree Lady. Not too many people in our tribe are very welcoming to newcomers. They just needed some time to get used to you." Adam assured her while he showed Teala around.
"You don't have to call me Tree Lady, Tiger Boy. My name is Teala." Teala rolled her eyes on the boy while she spotted a girl with a helmet watching them with a sour look and her arms crossed.
She was speaking something to Adam and Adam spoke back.
"Sorry, I need to chat with Krass really quick, be right back." Adam smiled then hopped over to Krass to talk to her.
Teala sighed since she could only understand Adam and his human father, Wun-Dar. Both were more than welcoming to harbor her from her former employers who were hunting her.
"Hunting? Why would someone want to hunt a child?" The Chief wondered with his head tilted.
"They're after this." Teala presented as a spark of recognition came to Adam, Wun-Dar, and Moss Man, "I need to find someone important, give them this before they find me."
"…Do you have any idea who it is?" Wun-Dar carefully queried the girl.
"Supposedly… a champion."
Champion, right. She had no idea why she was listening to the voice in her head or why she defied the resistance, but she needed to find this champion and quickly. The voice said the champion was here, but where?
Was it Wun-Dar? He is the leader, a strong warrior with a Warhammer to boot. He saved countless lives, protected his tribe, and seemed to be a courageous and honorable fellow.
It is not him.
Okay… Maybe it was his elite guard of his Ambush, Tiffi, No-Po, Mich'chi, or Zabutai.
Tiffi, she was wise, cunning, and stealthy. The Chief often came to her for advice and could also be helpful with adapting to certain changes. She was a woman without a right arm and covered in scars, but she still held the strength of a hundred men.
No, not her.
No-Po was kind and was great with difficult situations, had a giant beetle armor, and could smash down anything in his path.
It is not him.
Mich'chi was great with animals and connected with nature…
Not him either.
Zabutai-.
Not him either.
Teala then took a moment to think about it. Surely, the voice couldn't be thinking of someone younger… maybe someone like Krass. According to Adam, Krass was the top of her peers, destined to be the next chief's heir or so everyone assumed. Maybe she's-.
RUMBLE!
"Woah!" Teala gasped as she felt the earth shake!
It seemed to catch the attention of the other people and tigers here!
RUMBLE!
Everyone was screaming and running as the rocks from the side of the mountain were coming down! Adam saw a gigantic rock coming directly towards his new friend!
"Teala, look out!" The Blond Boy screamed then raced into action to cover her.
It wouldn't do any good! The rock would squish them both! Teala acted quickly!
Adam braced himself for the blow while he heard everyone call for him… but the blow never came. He then looked up and saw the rock… floating above him. Teala then moves the rock with her magic.
"You're a magic user." Adam gasped in shock.
"You're welcome by the way." Teala breathed but soon found herself tackled to the ground by Krass and Tiffi.
"Bring her to the cell!" Tiffi ordered as the tribe quickly took her away while Cringer and Wun-Dar checked on Adam, who kept staring at his new friend.
"Thank the Tiger Ancestors you're okay." He breathed as he hugged his adopted son.
"She saved his life. I think she doesn't deserve to be locked away." Cringer informed his partner in the hunt.
"I'll deal with that later," Wun-Dar promised while he looked at his shocked son.
"She protected me… and a true champion… a true champion protect those who can't protect themselves…."
"Adam?"
"I need to see her again."
At Castle Greyskull…
She felt it in the air, the time was drawing soon.
"He-Man will return and with him, so will the masters…."
