A/n: Don't forget the last chapter of Enchanted was posted prior to this one. This is just a little interlude into that chapter
Harry growled, making Hermione squeak as he ran at her, picked her up, threw her on the bed, and made her giggle.
Harry frowned as she giggled, "I just growled at you and pounced on you like a wild animal, and you giggled!"
Which sent Hermione into a bigger fit of giggles, "Your sexual prowess still awakens something within me. Don't worry. It is just this mattress is so comfy."
Harry kissed her hard, "I'll show you just how comfortable it is."
Hermione's giggles quickly turned into moans as Harry slowly unbuttoned her top, revealing her lacy bra. Harry's eyes darkened, seeing the black lace barely holding in her still swollen and enlarged breasts.
"Harry, I'm not going to last long at this rate. I am SO ready," Hermione told him.
Harry kissed her neck, "It's been a while. I need to make sure that you are perfectly ready for me, my lady," Harry said as he kissed down her stomach.
Hermione hissed as it felt like Harry's hands were all over her body all at once, lighting fire to her skin. One hand was unfastening her bra, and the other was unbuttoning her jeans. Lifting her hips, somehow, she was naked, and she looked down at him surprised, "Did you just wandlessly remove my clothes? Please tell me you didn't banish them?"
Harry laughed, "I brought some clothes here. Don't worry."
Hermione huffed, "That was my favourite sexy bra." She motioned with her hand as she laid back, "Continue."
Harry chuckled as he kissed her stomach, licking each fading stretch mark with his tongue, bringing her closer and closer to the edge. The moment his tongue touched her clit, Hermione's orgasm hit her.
"Holy shit," Hermione said, gasping for breath.
"You, okay?" Harry asked as he gently opened her up with one finger and then a second.
"Oh God," Hermione said, gasping.
"Pain?" Harry asked, stopping.
"No, God, no. I'm so fucking sensitive," Hermione told him as she lifted her head for a moment, "Does it feel… weird or stretched out?"
Harry laughed, "No, just as lovely as before. Relax."
Harry crooked his fingers, and Hermione's back arched off the bed as he sucked on her clit, bringing another orgasm crashing over her in waves.
"Let me catch my breath," Hermione told him, grabbing his hair and pulling him up to her. She smiled as she took his glasses off his face and went to throw them by habit on the bedside table, and instead, they flew to the wall, hitting it before falling to the floor. She looked at him wide-eyed, and they both laughed, "We need a bedside table that matches the wood of this bed and… wait," Hermione said, raising up on her elbows, "Is that a matching dresser?"
"Seriously, Hermione?" Harry asked, flopping next to her hip on the bed, "I just gave you what I believe was amazing oral, and you start talking about the dresser?!"
"I didn't notice that it matched the bed!" Hermione told him in her defense.
Harry ran his hand down his face and laughed, "I love you so much."
"Well then, come up here," Hermione told him with a grin.
Harry flipped over, crawled up her body, and hovered over her, "Hi."
"Hi to you too," Hermione said, feeling him on her stomach. "I can sense how excited you are. Are you going to put that thing to good use? I miss him."
Harry kissed her, "Tell me if you feel any pain," Harry told her as he positioned himself and cast a little lubrication spell along with the contraceptive spell and then slowly started one slow thrust inside her, causing Hermione to moan.
Once his hips met hers, he froze in spot, letting her adjust, "Holy shit, I thought you said you thought you were going to be stretched. You feel tighter somehow," Harry gasped out.
"Move, please! God, Harry, move!" Hermione gasped out.
Setting a steady pace, Hermione felt her already sensitive body quickly approaching another orgasm. She tried to hold off as Harry's thrusts became more erratic. Hermione saw a bead of sweat fall off his nose as he moved his hand between them. "I'm nearly there, are you?" He asked.
"Yes," Hermione said as his body tensed, and she could feel him twitch as she, too, hit her peak, and he kept thrusting through the last twitches of her orgasms.
Collapsing on top of her once he hit his peak, Hermione wrapped her arms around him, holding him close and running her fingers through his sweaty hair as they both caught their breath.
"I love you, Harry," Hermione whispered, "Thank you for this wonderful home."
Harry kissed her, "I love you so much."
"Now, give me five minutes, and then I want to explore our house," Hermione said excitedly.
Harry groaned, "You are still squeezing me like a vice."
"Honey, as much as I'd love to, you aren't getting another orgasm out of me, and I'm already too sensitive," Hermione told him.
Harry gently pulled out of her, and Hermione sighed at the loss, "How do you feel?"
"Wonderful," Hermione said with a smile, "I'm so damn glad that Jamie has his own room now. I know I said we didn't need a bigger house, but you were right, and you knew better."
Harry grinned, "Can you record that?"
Hermione hit him as she rolled out of the bed, "Okay, where are these clothes?"
Harry laughed, "Why do we need clothes? It's just us here."
Hermione looked at him, "Because I know as soon as we start exploring the house, we will find all the places to have wonderful, glorious sex, and I can't do that right now without a numbing potion or something."
Harry frowned, "Are you sore? You said that-"
Hermione put her finger to his lips, "Shhh, no, just…the muscles that haven't been used since July suddenly were used very, very spectacularly, and they are protesting. I mean, shit, look at my breasts. They are leaking!"
Harry grinned while sitting up. "I noticed. I read that happens sometimes."
"Well, come on then. Where are the clothes?" Hermione asked him.
Harry pointed at a set of double doors, "Go look in there."
Hermione walked over to the doors and opened them to reveal a walk-in closet, "Oh my god," Hermione said, looking back at him, "You didn't!"
Harry rolled out of bed and walked over to her. "This is my part. I put this vanity in for you to get ready in the morning, so you don't have to get ready in the bathroom if I am taking a shower. This side of the room is all for your shoes and your whole closet."
Hermione took in one whole wall that was empty, waiting for clothes. A beautiful sweater dress for her to wear to Ron and Luna's reception was one of the only things hanging. She turned to see him already getting his own jumper and jeans out. "Are there knickers and bras in the dresser, by any chance?"
Harry grinned, "You are so smart."
Hermione ran out of the walk-in and opened the drawers to see brand new underwear and knicker sets, "Ooh, pretty." After dressing, Hermione spun, "How do I look?"
"Like one hot Mumma," Harry grinned.
After they got dressed, Harry led her out of their bedroom to the room across from theirs, "This is the nursery. It doesn't have furniture yet, because I figured we'd see what we have and then buy it together. I am banking on our chances and say this is Jamie's room for a year. Then we move him to his own room downstairs. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, whether it's just a shower or has a tub is different in each room. The nursery only has a shower because our room has a shower and a tub."
Hermione swallowed back the tears, "Is that a walk-in through that door?" she asked, pointing to the end of the room.
"No, just storage," Harry said, pointing to the door next to them, "That is a storage room. I figured you could make it into a linen and clothes storage room. This is the door to the top floor of the library. I figured you could put your private books up here that we don't want the kids getting into."
Hermione let him take her hand, and he led her to the stairs. "So, the first floor has all the other bedrooms," Harry informed her as he stepped out onto the landing, "This is the biggest room on this floor, and it has a closet that is not fully walk-in but bigger than we have now. I figured that Teddy could have this room."
Hermione looked in the large room, "He is going to love this."
Harry pointed toward an open door, "He has a shower, toilet… privacy."
Leading her out of Teddy's room, he opened another door, "This is the room I planned on for Dan when he comes to visit or just guests. They put a towel warmer in this one's bathroom. I figured that would be nice for guests."
Following Harry to the next bedroom nearest the stairs, Hermione looked up at the chandelier.
"Do you not like it? It was in the Potter vaults, but if it reminds you of-" Harry said as Hermione silenced him. "It's beautiful," Hermione told him, taking in the iron bed with a tapestry behind it and an antique table.
"I figured it would be another guest room or… I just imagine our little girl in here," Harry said honestly, "It even has a walk-in closet too for her."
Hermione looked at him, "A little girl?"
"Just as beautiful as you, of course," Harry said, kissing her temple, "And before you asked, yes, that is the Potter family tree. I found it in the vaults."
Hermione walked over to it, seeing her name connected to Harry's, with a dotted line showing Teddy's name and a solid line showing Jamie's name: "Magic is amazing."
"Come on, one last bedroom down here. Another guest room right now, but it nearly was our room," Harry told her as he led her into the final bedroom.
A bed similar to theirs without posts sat within it, and a matching antique table to the one in the last bedroom sat against the wall. Harry led her to the large bay window, "I want to call this room the Rose Room."
Hermione looked out and gasped, "You brought roses from Potter Manor!"
"Well, this is the new Potter manor, so I created our own private oasis here with the help of my grandmother," Harry told her. "The loo for this room is a simple one. It's just a small toilet and shower. All the bedrooms on this floor are around the library."
Hermione let Harry pull her back toward the stairs, and Hermione marveled at the chandelier that lit the entranceway as they made it to the ground floor.
"To our left is the kitchen. To the right is the lounge. Straight ahead is the sitting room," Harry said, pulling her into the kitchen.
Hermione gasped, looking up at the large skylight in the ceiling. The kitchen was as big as their apartment in New York, with plenty of cabinet space, an extensive range, and an island in the middle with seating for four.
"The oven and stove look old, but that's just the look of them. They are modern," Harry told her, "Electric stove, actually."
Hermione walked over to the large windows at the back of the kitchen, which looked out over the backyard. "Look at these windows!"
"Those aren't windows. They are doors that fold open," Harry told her as he pulled at the door, and they accordioned shut, opening almost the entire wall up to the outside, "We finally have space."
"Through here is my study. I figured you'd take over the bedroom office. I can put some of my important files and books here," Harry said, showing her the small office with a wood stove inside. And through here," he said, shutting the office door, "is the sitting room where we can entertain guests. It has all this cupboard storage for games, blankets, whatever we want for guests. This is the fireplace I am hooking up to the floo."
Harry led her back into the entranceway and opened the next door. "This is the living room. There are many places to sit that are more formal. I figured we'd do Christmas in here."
"There is a little breakfast nook looking out over the backyard. The more formal eating area is through here," Harry said, dragging her to the next room, "This is the dining room. The table has seating for eight right now, but we can put a leaf in and make it longer if we have guests."
Hermione walked over to the window and looked out to the front of the house for the first time.
"You've been really quiet. We can change anything you want to, " Harry assured her.
"It's like you took all the things I liked in the magazines and made them come true," Hermione told him in wonder.
"You liked them. We can change colors and get new furniture, but it helped the builders, and I have an idea of what to do," Harry told her. "Do you like it?"
"I love it," Hermione told him, "I'm not sure what we will do with all this space, but I love it."
Harry wrapped his arms around her, "We will fill it. We also have a food garden and an area for chickens. A two-car garage and gate. Holly and Swift have their own tiny home next to the garden. I wanted to build them this big home, and they refused. They said they only needed a living area, a small kitchen, and two rooms. I tried to talk them into a third room, but they refused." Harry shrugged, "Oh! Best for last. We have a jacuzzi."
Hermione gasped, "A jacuzzi?"
"Yep, so what do you think?" Harry asked.
Hermione threw her arms around his neck, "That I am a lucky girl that you spoil too much."
Harry kissed her, "You deserve it and so much more."
Hermione stepped out of the floo after Harry, brushing the soot from her dress. The familiar warmth of the Burrow surrounded her as the bustling kitchen and sounds of laughter filled the air.
Hermione's eyes narrowed on her mother holding Jamie at the kitchen table. She smiled, "Give me my baby," Hermione said with a laugh as she walked over and scooped Jamie from her mother's arms.
Jamie cooed as Hermione nestled him against her chest and kissed the top of his head.
"He was an angel as always. Teddy was trying to get up to some mischief, but your dad didn't help that matter any," Juliet said, looking out the window. Hermione followed her line of vision to see Sirius running around with the kids.
Harry laughed as he leaned over and kissed Jamie's forehead, "Jamie is going to need to learn from the best to keep up with this family."
Sirius walked into the house laughing, "What about keeping up?"
"Old man, I'm surprised you can keep up with all those kids," Harry teased.
"I'll show you, old man," Sirius said, pulling him into a headlock.
After he released Harry, Sirius slid his arm around Juliet's shoulders, "What took you two so long? I thought you were going to miss the reception."
"Harry took me to our house," Hermione grinned, "I may have gotten lost in the library trying to organize it."
Sirius laughed, "I thought there weren't many books in the library. Just what was still in the Potter and Black vaults."
"Harry wouldn't let me organize them yet," Hermione pouted.
Juliet glanced towards Molly, "Forewarning, Molly is about two minutes away from wrestling him away from us and carrying him around on her hip."
Hermione said, "Molly is in her element at these events."
"Hermione?! Is that Hermione?!"
"Oh yes, Luna is upstairs waiting on you," Juliet informed her as Ron entered the room.
"Thank Merlin, there you two are. I was wondering if you were going to stand us up," Ron said.
"Oh, come on, it's three hours before the reception," Harry said exasperatedly. "I took Hermione to the house and showed it to her."
Ron grinned as he nodded, "I get it, you had to break in that new bed."
"Ron!" Hermione scolded as Harry frowned, "Dude, not cool."
Juliet blushed, "Well, I'm going to see if Molly needs help."
Hermione punched Ron's arm, handed Jamie to Harry, and then walked past him, "So immature." As she walked to the stairs to find Luna.
Walking into Ron's bedroom, she found Luna in a robe, pinning her hair, "Hey, Luna."
Luna smiled, "Did you like the house?"
Hermione grinned as she sat on Ron's bed, "Oh, it was amazing. When are you two moving in?"
"In about a month," Luna told her as she walked over to the bag where her dress hung, "Oh! Look, I have good luck."
Hermione looked at what Luna had in her hand and gasped, "That's a spider."
"Haven't you heard that a spider in your wedding dress is good luck?" Luna asked as she opened the window and put the spider out on a leaf. "Thank you for the luck, little spider."
"So, is that your dress?" Hermione asked.
Luna unzipped it to reveal a pastel-coloured rainbow dress with layers upon layers at the skirt. The top was covered in rainbow-colored stones and had to be form-fitting.
"I wanted to be like a fairy princess, so it has wings, but I'm guessing Ginny will think that was too much," Luna told her, running her hands over the fabric.
Hermione looked at her, "It might be over the top, but it's your wedding reception, Luna. Screw what Ginny thinks."
Luna threw her arms around Hermione's neck, "I love you!"
"Let's get you in your dress," Hermione said with a smile.
Hermione walked down the stairs, smoothing her dress, and smiled when she saw Harry standing in the living room, talking to Sirius and Arthur with Jamie in the baby wrap against his chest. The distant sound of the grandchildren's laughter echoed into the house.
As she approached them, Harry turned, sensing her, and smiled. Wrapping his arm around her waist, he kissed her, "Luna, all right?"
Hermione nodded, "She is dressed and getting ready. What are you three discussing?"
Sirius raised his glass, then leaned back against the bay window, "Well, since Harry built us a house, I've decided what to do with my ancestral home."
Hermione frowned, "Grimmauld Place? It's been condemned."
Sirius waved his hand, "Not that place, and you're right. It is condemned. I made an offer for the surrounding properties, and all the families accepted. I'm leveling the lot and putting up a flat complex. But no, I'm talking about Black Manor in Claremont. It's northeast of Manchester. It's been vacant since my uncle Arcturus passed. It became mine, and I've decided it's time to put it to good use."
"What are you planning for it?" Hermione inquired.
Sirius grinned, "I want it to become the Lupin Wolf Sanctuary. A haven for werewolves, where they can transform without fear, learn skills, and have access to Wolfsbane. They would have the choice to come back each month if they wanted or even live there full-time. What do you think?"
Hermione tried not to cry, "Remus would be so proud, Dad. That's an incredible idea."
Sirius tipped his drink back, "High praise from you. You know you were his favourite student, just raved about you. If he only knew."
Hermione's gaze drifted out the window behind him, where she spotted Ginny standing alone at the garden's edge, staring out at the reception tent. Her arms were crossed as if she were protecting herself.
"You boys talk. I will be outside," Hermione told Harry, quickly kissing Jamie before walking to the door.
Hermione crossed the lawn and approached Ginny. Bumping her gently with her shoulder, Hermione smiled at her, "Decided not to bring Jeremy?"
Ginny sighed, "He wanted to go on a date, and I think he's looking for something more serious. I'm not ready for that."
Hermione studied her, "Are you okay?"
Ginny swallowed hard, "I just… I am never going to get this."
"What do you mean?" Hermione asked.
Ginny closed her eyes, "Love. A relationship."
"The world is moving forward. Countries are talking about same-sex marriage. Change is starting to happen," Hermione told her.
"I don't know if it's for me. Maybe I'll find the right man, or woman, maybe I won't," Ginny said jaded.
"You'll find your path, Gin, when you're ready. The world is your oyster," Hermione told her.
"I was in love once. Back at Hogwarts," Ginny admitted, "Not with Harry." She paused, swallowing back tears that Hermione could see gathered on her lashes, "She was forbidden in more ways than one. Mum always said I was supposed to be with Harry. He saved me from the Chamber, but Harry was braver than me. He ended it because we were lying to ourselves. And then I found her again. She made me happy in ways I didn't think were possible."
Hermione felt Ginny's pain radiating off her, "What happened?"
Ginny let out a shaky breath, "She got sick. I didn't know. She hid it so well. One day, she was there and the next, she wasn't. I still roll over at night, expecting her to be there. Happy moments like this bring back the pain."
Hermione wrapped her arms around Ginny, "I'm so sorry, Gin. I won't tell anyone. It's none of their business."
"Thanks," Ginny whispered.
Hermione pulled back and looked up at her, "So, how weird will this reception be?"
Ginny snorted, wiping away a tear, "If Mum planned it? Tamed down."
"Look, don't say anything to Luna, but she is going to wear wings. She wants to be a fairy princess and deserves her day to be exactly as she wants."
Ginny shook her head, "Fucking hell, Hermione. You and Harry are married with a baby. Ron and Luna are married. Neville and Hannah are happy and married. When did we all grow up?"
Footsteps approaching made them both quiet as Harry joined them. Jamie was snoozing peacefully against Harry's chest. Wrapping his arm around Hermione's waist, he smiled at Ginny, "You'll find your happiness, Gin."
"Five years ago, did any of us imagine this? When you are ready, your time will come, Ginny," Hermione added.
Jamie squeaked as he stretched, settling in deeper on Harry's chest. "I'm not ready for marriage and kids. I'd have to give up Quidditch," Ginny said as she shook her head and headed back toward the house.
Turning into Harry's embrace, she rested her head against Harry's shoulder and kissed Jamie's soft hair. "I could almost feel the sadness rolling off her."
Harry rubbed her back, "She'll figure it out. We all did in our own time."
Hermione looked up at him, "You know, walking into that train compartment was the best choice I ever made."
Harry leaned down and kissed her, "I'm so glad you did."
She pulled away as she heard Molly yell something, "Let's go rescue Ron before his Mum drives him mad."
Harry laughed, "I'm so glad your Mum is so calm."
Hermione laughed, making Jamie jump, "Just wait until it's close for the baby to come."
Threading her fingers through his, they walked back to their makeshift family together. For better or worse, they were family.
