WORLD OF HEARTS

LINKED AS ONE

Act 3

Chapter 1

School of Drama

Last time in World of Hearts: Linked as One

The school year begins at Daybreak Academy. Kizuna Daichi, the Reincarnation of Sora, experiences his first day at Daybreak Academy, a prestigious school for those with superpowers, magic, intellectual skills, or enhanced physical strength to become an agent of LOGOS. Many students there aspire to protect the world from the forces of evil and darkness.

Eternal Darkness has begun to build its armies and its arsenal. Kefka Palazzo, a murderous magitek knight responsible for the burning of Mary Geoise. Sephiroth, the One Winged Angel of Death. Garland, the Chaos Bringer. The Witch Grimm Queen Salem and her children, Hansel and Gretel. Marshal D. "Blackbeard" Teach of the Blackbeard Pirates. The mysterious One-Eyed Owl of Aogiri Tree. Tomura Shigaraki and All for One. Many more evil souls flock to their side.

A war is coming.

Kizuna woke up in the Station. He sighed as he got up and looked at Sora and Mia.

"So what is it this time?" Kizuna asked. "Wait... is this about the converting memories into strength thing?"

Sora nodded. "Yeah, Mia and I were talking about that while you were going on about the rest of your day." He said. "After you got into those fights with Yujo, I noticed something has changed here."

"Like what?" Kizuna raised an eyebrow.

"Follow me," Sora said.

A door appeared on the left side of the station. Kizuna follows Sora and Mia. The door opens and the trio heads up the stairs. As Kizuna went up the spiraling staircase, his thoughts drifted toward his home in Tokyo. He wondered how everyone in the Nerima ward was doing. He wondered how those two investigators were doing. Maybe he should make a call to those two. He should still have their cards. While he was at it, perhaps he should call his mom, stepmom, Anteiku, neighbors, or even his grandma in Spira. He felt like he was becoming homesick. He knew it had only been two days since he moved here, but it felt like it had been a whole year since he moved.

"Hey, we're here," Sora's voice snaps him out of it.

As soon as Kizuna reached the top of the stairs, he saw that the floor was different. The floor in this particular room had a much different picture and pattern. There was a girl in a white dress that looked oddly similar to Usagi. Most of the stained glass was blue and yellow, accompanied by signs that seemed to indicate planets starting from left to right: Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn. He looked around the room, seeing several bookshelves and a desk. On the table looked like a crystal ball.

"What is this?" Kizuna asked.

"I believe this has something to do with knowledge," Mia said.

"I guess we could use this for research," Kizuna said.

He looked at Mia and held her hand. As he did, he felt strength flowing into him. Mia headed over to the ball. As she sat down at the desk and put her hand on the ball, it glowed. Kizuna and Sora went over to the ball.

"Hmm..." Mia looked at the ball. "Yes... I believe I understand how this thing works."

"You do?" Sora asked as he and Kizuna went over to her.

Mia turns to the boys. "Yes... I believe this room has something to do with the bonds he makes with others." She looked at Kizuna. "It seems this crystal responds to the bonds he makes with others. I think I can make something out of this."

She focuses her mind on the ball. A small crystal ball comes out of the orb on the desk. Kizuna grabs the ball and looks at it. The ball was blue. He could hear a voice coming from it as it shone for a moment.

"Promise me that you'll be with me when we travel across the world."

"Madoka?" Kizuna muttered.

"Huh... I see how it is..." Sora said. "The more you bond with others, the more of these things we get."

Kizuna quickly understood that, but that left him with more questions than answers.

"But what do they do?" Kizuna asked.

"Hmm... pull out your keyblade," Sora requests, to which Kizuna obliges, making the Neo Kingdom Key materialize. "Now, I may be wrong about this, but if you put it close to the keyblade..."

He puts the ball close to the keyblade. The ball glows and breaks apart into light. The light is absorbed into the keyblade. The keyblade glows for a second.

"It absorbed it?" Kizuna asked.

"Yeah... it looked like it," Sora said. "I got an idea. Follow me."

Kizuna follows Sora back to the main station. As he got there, he saw a door on the right side. He follows Sora into the door and the boys find themselves in a different station. This time, the stained glass floor depicted a girl who looked just like Madoka, but with a white dress and white, angelic wings. Surrounding the girl were girls who looked like Sayaka, Homura, Mami, and Kyoko. He saw Sora ahead of him. There were several heartless-shaped dummies. Sora turns to Kizuna.

"I guess this must be some sort of training room," Kizuna said.

"Perhaps it is," Sora said as he turned to Kizuna.

As the boy turned to face Kizuna, he summoned a keyblade to his side. The key resembled the old Kingdom Key. Kizuna materialized his keyblade. "Oi, what are you doing?"

"Training," Sora said. "Now then, come at me."

Kizuna charges towards Sora and makes a simple thrust attack. Sora blocked it and countered with a slash. Kizuna dodges the attack and casts a fire spell. Sora deflects the spell, letting Kizuna cast another fire spell. It was then that Kizuna realized something. Whenever he cast a spell, it felt like he was using less mana than he usually does. He throws in another fire spell. Sora deflects the spell Kizuna launched earlier but was hit with the follow-up.

"Whoa, whoa!" Sora said as he got up. "If you keep casting spells like that, you're going to run out of mana."

"But that's the thing! I still have some mana left!" Kizuna said. "It's like I am using less mana than I usually do!"

Sora looked surprised. He dematerialized his keyblade. "I see... so that orb your keyblade absorbed must have lowered the mana cost of spells."

Kizuna looked at his keyblade. "Yeah, I think so too..."

The two boys left the room and went back to the main station. Mia was waiting for the two. "I see you two have found out what it all means."

"Yeah," Sora said, patting Kizuna on the back. "Alright Kizuna, we got a new day ahead of us."

Kizuna nods and heads through the center door.

Morning

Kizuna woke up in the bed and stretched his arms out. He felt a weight on top of him. He rubbed his eyes and saw...

... Ruby on top of him in her pajamas?

"Hey, Kizu!" Ruby said innocently with a smile.

"R-Ruby?! W-What are you—?!"

"What am I doing? I've been waiting for you to wake up!" Ruby said. "Blake said that if I sat on you like this, that it would wake you up faster."

Kizuna blushed as he looked at the silver-eyed girl.

"L-Look, I-I'm up! J-Just please—!"

The door opens and he looks at the door to see Homura coming in. "Kizuna, Sanji's making breakfast. Come down and..."

Kizuna and Ruby looked at Homura, the former being scared for his life while the latter was innocently staring at her.

Homura pulled out a taser while looking at Kizuna with a cold, disapproving look on her face.

"W-WAIT! IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!" Kizuna tried to explain himself to Homura.

"Then tell me what it's supposed to look like," Homura said coldly. "And Ruby, I can't believe you..."

"WAIT!" Kizuna said. "JUST LET ME EXPLAIN!"

Dorm Living Room

Kizuna came down with Ruby and Homura. Ruby was smiling while Homura was eying Kizuna with cold, dead eyes. Kizuna sighed, feeling embarrassed. Everyone was eating breakfast that Sanji had prepped for everyone. Madoka looked at Kizuna.

"Kizu-chan! You're just in time!" Madoka said.

Kizuna made it to the table and got himself a plate as Sanji handed him a meal. He eats his meal while the rest are talking and eating with each other. He tries to eat his food. It looked like eggs, pancakes, and English muffins put together on a plate with the pancakes buttered and coated with syrup. He was beginning to miss the kind of breakfast his stepmom would cook for him when he was growing up. His thoughts drift back to his home. He was losing his appetite.

"Hey, Kizuna," Izuku said, sitting across from Kizuna. "Is something wrong?"

Kizuna sighed. "Well... it's just... I don't know, I feel like... I don't know..."

"Homesick?" Izuku asked.

Kizuna sighs again. "Yeah... maybe I just feel homesick..."

"Then allow me to help you, Kizuna Daichi the first year!"

Kizuna saw Medaka standing on the table, pointing her finger at him, surprising the young man.

"It is natural for one to feel homesick when they are put in a different environment, but one should not let this homesickness dominate them throughout the school year!" Medaka proclaimed with a smile on her face. "You should at least call your family or friends that you have to ease the sadness and loneliness within your heart, that way you can move on without feeling the weight of doubt on your shoulders!"

"Kurokami!" Iida chastises her, making his usual chopping motion with his arm away from the table to not constantly bang on it. "No standing on the table during meals!"

"Huh?" Medaka looked back at Iida with a confused expression.

"He means that you should get off the table," Sucy said.

"Oh..." Medaka got off the table.

Kizuna pulled out his phone and stood up. "Thank you, Medaka," He bows. "I'll go and make a call."

"Aren't you going to finish eating?" Stocking asked. "Because in that case, I'll eat the rest of it."

"Fatty," Patty cursed.

"Prima donna," Stocking fired back.

Kizuna went out of the room for a while. He started dialing his stepmother's phone number. He took a deep breath. His hands were shaking. How was he going to tell her about how he was doing here? Where could he possibly start? What was he-?

"OW! What was that for Sanji?!" Luffy's voice could be heard in the background.

"You haven't finished your plate yet!" Sanji's voice was raised. "Don't pretend like I didn't know what you were trying to pull!"

Kizuna looked at his phone and held it to his ear.

"Hello?"

"H-Hey, Mom, it's me-"

"AH, Kizuna-chan! How are you? How's Daybreak Academy doing for you? Did you make any new friends? How are you and Madoka doing? You're not in trouble or anything, right?" Kokoro's voice could be heard.

"Well, I'm fine and all that," Kizuna said. "I just... felt like I needed to call you..."

"Oh... wait... honey... are you feeling homesick?" Kokoro asked.

He was surprised at how quickly his stepmom caught on. It was like she was reading his thoughts. Then again, it shouldn't be a surprise to him. His stepmom was there to raise him at times when his mother was busy at work. It had gotten to a point where Kokoro could understand what was going on in his mind and knew how to respond to him.

"Yeah... I am..." Kizuna said. "It's just that... I haven't had the chance to talk to you yesterday..."

Kizuna saw Jiminy coming down. The cricket jumped high up into the air and Kizuna caught him with his free hand. He stuffed Jiminy into a pocket.

"You know, it is a good thing that you are calling, Mr. Amon wanted to talk to you," Kokoro said.

'Mr. Amon? Why would he want to speak with me?'Kizuna thought. "Sure, put him on."

Daichi Household, Tokyo

Kokoro hands the phone over to Amon. Amon took a deep breath.

"Hey, Kizuna, was it? I just thought I'd stop by the house to ask your mother how she's been doing," Amon said. "When you were calling, I thought that now would be a good time to talk with you."

Amon looked at Kokoro, who gave him an approving nod. Amon looked to his left to see Akira Mado, Kureo's daughter who had recently joined the CCG's 20th Ward Branch. She joined just months after the Fueguchi Incident that cost her father his right arm. After the incident ended, Kureo was put on retirement. He got himself an automail arm to replace the one he lost after he took a Senzu bean to heal most of his injuries, leaving Akira to become Amon's partner in her father's stead.

"So... what did you want to talk about?" Kizuna asked.

"I just thought I'd give you an update on how things are around here," Amon said. "Mado's been recovering for a year, but he's effectively retired. The CCG's 20th Ward Branch has been keeping a close eye on the ghouls here, but thankfully, no problems have arisen yet. I've recovered from my injuries and I just got myself a new partner."

"A new partner?" Kizuna asked.

"Well, you remember when Mado said he had a daughter?" Amon asked.

"Wait... you mean-?"

"Yeah, she's right next to me," Amon said. "I'd introduce you to her, but I'm not sure if that is a good idea..."

"Ask him about how he's doing in school," Kokoro said.

"So... how's school going for you?" Amon asked.

"Well... it is nice here," Kizuna said. "I mean, it's not like I fought a Behemoth during the Entrance Exams."

"A-A BEHE—!" Amon stopped himself, knowing that Kokoro was there. He lowered his volume down to a whisper. "A Behemoth?!"

"I know right? I don't know how they managed even tame one," Kizuna said.

Raven was looking at a man with long red hair who was looking at Deadeye. Deadeye's eyes were glazed and he was unconscious with his mouth hanging open. The behemoth was on its side and was breathing. Raven looked nearly terrified as she looked at him. The man looked back at Raven.

"What the hell did you do?" Raven asked with a shaky voice.

"I told him to take a nap," The man said.

"Honestly, I'm surprised no one was eaten throughout the whole encounter," Kizuna said.

"Ok... it was good talking to you, I... uh... gotta get back to work," Amon said passing the phone back to Kokoro. "Akira, we're leaving."

Daybreak Academy

"Hey, Kizuna, are you done?" Sanji asked.

"I-I know, I'll eat!" Kizuna said. "Gotta go, mom, bye."

He hung up and went back to eating some breakfast. He was eating his food with everyone. He felt better now, knowing that things were ok back home.

Classroom 1-A

Kizuna and his classmates got into the classroom. Gintoki walked in with Shinpachi. The bell rang and everyone took their seats.

"Alright kids, listen up, it is good to see that you're all getting used to this place already," Gintoki said. "That being said, I believe it's time that this class gets a representative."

"Quick question, whats a class representative?" Luffy asked.

"Think of it like being the captain of an entire pirate crew, only bigger," Satsuki said. "Something you already know by now."

Luffy jumped on top of his desk. "OH YEAH! I get to be the captain of an even bigger crew!"

"Luffy! Don't just stand on the desk!" Iida chastises him, only to notice that Luffy isn't even listening to him. "H-Hey! Are you listening to me?!"

"Forget it, four-eyes, he's already far too gone," Bakugo said.

"If that is the case, then I am a shoo-in for the job," Weiss said with a haughty voice.

"Weiss, the last time you said that, Ruby ended up being our team leader," Blake said.

"DON'T JINX ME BLAKE!" Weiss glared at Blake before she regained her composure. "Besides, it's about time I finally get myself a leadership role myself."

"No, it shall be me," Diana said. "As a member of the Cavendish family, I shall be our class representative."

"I elect myself to be class representative!" Kuwabara said, standing up.

"You? Class rep?" Yusuke scoffed. "Kuwabara, you don't even know the first thing about being a class rep."

"I can learn!"

"I'd like to see you try, blockhead."

"Alright, Urameshi, now you're asking for it!"

"Guys, we have the boss of the Italian mob in our class," Josuke said, pointing to Giorno.

"Josuke..." Giorno looked at Josuke with a disapproving look on his face.

"Hmm... I guess it wouldn't hurt to be a class representative again," Mami said.

"Oh yeah, you did say that you were a class rep back in Mitakihara city," Madoka said.

Gintoki looked at Shinpachi. "I don't think we're getting paid enough for this, Shinpachi."

"Hey, you signed the papers, not me," Shinpachi said.

"Crap, you're right," Gintoki said. "Maybe if I asked for a raise..."

"Gin-san..."

Gintoki sighed and looked at the students. "Look, just figure something out, all of you."

CA-CLICK!

Satsuki was standing on her desk with one foot on it, radiating with light behind her.

"We shall decide by force!" Satsuki proclaimed. "Only a person of proven strength shall be worthy of the title of class representative!"

"NO! We are not doing that!" Iida speaks up. "We shall decide this democratically! In other words, we're doing an election!"

Satsuki glared at Iida. "You dare question me, pig?"

...

...

...

...

...

Iida gulped as he was shaking. "Yes."

...

...

...

...

...

Satsuki cracked a smile and chuckled. "Very well, we shall do this your way."

Iida collapsed into his chair. Satsuki sat back down.'This time, I shall succeed where I have failed.'

And so they decided to host an election.

Weiss's Speech

Weiss cleared her throat. She took a deep breath.

"I'm sure I don't need any introductions here, so let me make this simple for all of you," Weiss said. "As you know, my younger brother, Whitley, is in charge of the Schnee Dust Company after my "father" was found guilty of several crimes including but not limited to domestic abuse, embezzling company funds, several accounts of Faunus rights violations, rigging an election, corruption, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and so much more. My sister on the other hand is currently working for LOGOS."

She looks at her classmates and pauses for dramatic effect. "I have personally waited for an opportunity where I, Weiss Schnee, shall finally take up my sister's footsteps and bring honor to the Schnee family and finally supplant myself in a leadership role at long last! I shall lead us into glory and—!"

"Try to compensate for the fact that you're as flat as a wood plank?" Panty cuts her off. "What kind of guy would even fall for some haughty rich girl who doesn't have huge boobs and has a bitchy attitude?"

Weiss gasps, putting a hand over her chest. "I-I'll have you know that my cup size has gone up since last year!"

"To what? B-cups?"

"How dare you!" Weiss said.

"I mean, I'm not wrong. Look at Momo," Panty said. "She's rich and she is curvy-no-voluptous!"

"P-Please don't drag me into this..." Momo said, blushing, covering her face out of embarrassment from Panty's comment.

"UGH!" Weiss groaned. "Just because my boobs aren't big doesn't mean I don't have the qualifications to assume leadership!"

Luffy's Speech

"Name me class rep, and all of you can join my crew!" Luffy said. "Then, we'll find the One Piece and become the richest pirates in the Seven Seas! Once I become King of the Pirates—!"

"Whoa, hold it right there, straw hat," Bakugo said. "First of all, how do we even know that the One Piece is real?"

"Why do you think Gol D. Roger was known as the King of the Pirates?" Baki asked. "From what I heard, Gol D. Roger didn't have a Devil Fruit power of his own and he knew how to fight, lead, command, and he's got excellent control over his Haki. Anyone crazy or dumb enough to stand in his way got sent straight to the bottom of the ocean, never to be seen or heard of again. It's no wonder he amassed such a huge fortune and buried it in the one place that only he knew how to get there and made damn sure to take that secret down to the grave."

"Also, do you want to question the guy who took on pirates with huge bounties on their heads and destroyed an entire island that one time?" Gohan said. "According to his track record, he and his crew crushed pirates that were practically untouchable and even beat up members of the now defunct CP9 unit, several warlords of the sea, two emperors of the sea, and even opened up Wano's borders to the entire world."

"THE ONE PIECE IS REAL!" Luffy shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Quoting Whitebeard aren't we?" Weiss asked.

Satsuki's Speech

She clicked her heels against the podium and stood tall with her chest huffed up in pride.

"Listen up, you pigs in human clothing, we were all born gifted with abilities that far surpass the average person, some of us have trained and worked ourselves to the limit to achieve the level of strength needed to go beyond human limits," Satsuki said. "But, we all know that those without proven strength cannot and do not deserve the right to lead! We are and always shall strive to be better than all the other classes! We shall make them seethe with envy and make them look up to us as pillars of strength! Make me your class representative and the world shall bow before our strength, you pigs in human clothing!"

"Is she... going to be like this for the rest of the year?" Izuku said.

"She's been like this for the entirety of her life," Ryuko said. "From preschool, elementary, middle, and high school."

"R-Really?" Izuku asked.

"I know, it's crazy," Ryuko said.

"But that's not all..." Satsuki took a deep breath, the light behind her shining brighter than ever. "I will also run for Student Council President!"

'Student Council President?!'Izuku thought.

"Oh, I see you've been eying that position!" Medaka said.

The light stopped shining behind her as Satsuki glared at Medaka. The tension in her eyes was as thick as her eyebrows. If she had Conquers Haki, everyone in the room would have fainted by now. A heavy weight fell on the entire classroom.

"Do I hear you challenging me for that position?" Satsuki asked.

"Well, I do have a vision for this class and this school, of course," Medaka said, standing up. "Like I did in my last school, I will open a suggestion box for the school and—"

"Fill the school's garden with flowers for every suggestion that has been completed?" Satsuki asked. "How utterly predictable."

'It's like she can read her thoughts!'Everyone in the classroom (except Medaka) thought.

"You know me so well," Medaka said. "Still, being the CEO of REVOCS and the head of the Kiryuin Conglomerate means you are forever destined to reach the highest peaks in all of society, but that still comes with plenty of pressure from society and all of its problems as well."

"Are. You done. Yet?" Satsuki gritted her teeth behind her lips.

Later...

The students had cast their votes for their class representative. The results were on the board. Satsuki and Medaka were tied. Mami was below Medaka and Satsuki where as Weiss was at rock bottom. Weiss looked down at the desk, her hands shaking.

"My sister is a high-ranking officer in the military and my brother owns the SDC... meanwhile, I'm only second in command of a team that's being led by a country bumpkin with a thing for weapons..." Weiss said. "What is my life coming to?"

"Oh come on Weiss, it's not that bad," Yang said. "What matters is that you tried—"

"BUT ITS NOT EVEN ENOUGH!" Weiss cried.

"Mineta, why did you vote for Satsuki?!" Denki asked.

"I just like the kind of woman who would just kill me," Mineta said.

"Ok, yeah, I can respect that," Denki said.

Satsuki stared into Medaka's eyes. Satsuki's hardened glare pierces through the laidback and happy-go-lucky eyes of Medaka.

"It seems we have reached an impasse," Satsuki said.

"Yes, it seems we have reached an impasse..." Medaka said. "Has everyone voted or is this a tie?"

"Oh screw it, I'll break the tie," Gintoki said.

"Uh, Gin-san, didn't you-?"

"Look, if this tie isn't broken up soon, it's going to be Lord of the Fliesup in here, so let me do my job," Gintoki said before turning to address Satsuki and Medaka. "Ok... I'm going to ask you two a question and if one of you gets it right, then you're officially the class representative. Sounds fair to both of you?"

"Fair enough," Satsuki answered.

"Very well then," Medaka said.

Gintoki sighed. "Alright, here's the question." He pulled out a card. "Name one thing in the world that I would never be able to live without."

"Money," Satsuki said.

"Friends," Medaka said.

"Hm..." Gintoki said. "Well, those are two good answers, but that's not close enough," Gintoki said.

"It's JUMP Magazines, isn't it?" Shinpachi asks.

"DAMNIT SHINPACHI, I WAS HOPING ONE OF THEM WOULD SAY IT! NOT YOU!" Gintoki yelled at Shinpachi. "Great, now I have to come up with another question!"

The wall of the classroom was broken down as a giant dog came out of the wall with a red-haired girl on top of it. Gintoki and Shinpachi looked at the dog and the girl who jumped off of it a second later. The dog looked oddly enough like an albino Shiba Inu.

"I can't believe you two would just ditch me back there!" The girl said, holding an umbrella in her arm.

"K-Kagura?! Sadaharu?!" Shinpachi exclaimed. "Why are you-?!"

"I'm here so that I can be a schoolgirl here!" The girl named Kagura said.

"Ma'am!" Iida stood up, his arm chopping the air as he looked in her direction. "Do you have any idea about the concept of breaking and entering, no less, trespassing and committing vandalism via destruction of property in this school?!"

Kizuna looked on at the absurdity of the scene before him. Madoka was right next to him.

"Now just how did a dog that big get in the school?" Madoka asked. "Wait, doesn't the school have a built-in security system that keeps intruders out of the school?"

"Yeah, I think it does," Kizuna said. "I think Daybreak has that same kind of security measure that brings up a barrier just like UA does. If the system detects something that doesn't correspond to its database or if someone isn't carrying a LOGOS ID tag, the barrier comes up. If that's the case, how did a big dog like that get through it?"

"I think the size of that dog just answered your question..."Sora said.

"Someone... anyone... get this thing off of me..." He could have sworn he heard Edward's voice.

Kizuna spotted Edward being completely crushed by the dog that was now sitting on him.

"E-Edward!" Kizuna said.

"Oh great, now you got Sadaharu sitting on top of one of my students!" Gintoki said. "Oh... they are so gonna dock my pay for this..."

"Huh?" Kagura turned around and saw the poor alchemist under Sadaharu. "Oi, Sadaharu, I think you're sitting on someone."

The dog tilted its head to the side and stood up, allowing Edward to breathe and crawl out from under the giant dog.

"Finally... free..." Edward collapsed.

"Good boy," Kagura said.

"Wait a minute, how did you even get here with Sadaharu?" Shinpachi asked.

"I smuggled him aboard," Kagura said.

"YOU WHAT?!" Gintoki exclaimed. "Also, while we're on that subject, what makes you think you can be a student here?"

"Yeah... did you even do the entrance exam?" Shinpachi asked.

"Of course I did," Kagura said. "And I passed the practical exam."

"And the written exam?"

"Uh..." Kagura nervously laughed. "Well..."

"Maybe she can break the stalemate," Satsuki said.

"Stalemate?" Kagura said, picking her nose.

"Yeah, this class I'm teaching needs a class representative by the end of the day and-"

"Vote for me as the class representative and I'll see to it that you are made a student here," Satsuki said. "And I'll even pay for the damages you and your mutt caused and even build a proper dog house for him."

"You mean it?" Kagura asked.

"As head of the Kiryuin Conglomerate and the CEO of REVOCS, I guarantee it," Satsuki said.

"WAIT! YOU CAN'T JUST-!"

She glared at Iida, causing him to stop in his tracks.

"Is that any way for you to speak to me, pig?"

"Nope... no it is not..." Iida backed down.

"Deal!" Kagura said.

"Alright, it's been decided, Satsuki's the class representative," Gintoki said.

Josuke tapped a piece of the wall and the wall was put back together.

English Class

Ursula was teaching the class. Sanji was too busy looking at her to pay attention to the lesson. Kizuna was feeling less homesick than he was when he woke up and had breakfast. Kizuna paid attention to the class as Ursula was lecturing the class about the fundamentals of English. He would occasionally catch a slight glimpse of Balan, who he could barely see off from the window. He smiled, hoping to become Balan's disciple. He could almost imagine his days at the Keyblade Academy. The Order is known to have plenty of Keyblade academies throughout the world. He wondered what it would be like in there. What sort of techniques would they teach him? Would he get his own Gummi Ship? Would they give him a set of keyblade armor? So many questions were going on through his head.

Neo Bastion Dockyards

The Neo Bastion Dockyards were built around the outer perimeter of the wall which acts as a barrier against any kind of assault. The dockyards act as a hub for shipping to Japan and everything north of the Grand Line in the Pacific Ocean. The dockyards are connected to the lower levels of the floating fortress island city. The lowest level on the surface of the water acts like a giant warehouse that is divided into sectors. Sectors 1 and 2 are primarily meant for food products that are being imported into the city and exported to other locations. Sectors 3 and 4 house any construction materials coming into the docks. Sectors 5 and 6 are for entertainment and commercial products. Sector 7 is meant to house fuel resources.

Midgar Bay, a military port in the Neo Bastion Dockyards, was brimming with cutting-edge naval vessels that were developed using magitek. Most naval vessels parked at Midgar Bay use magic weapons ranging from fire magic guns, ice magic cannons, and lightning magic emitters that act as missiles. Some ships use conventional weapons that have been enhanced using Dust. Instead of using nuclear reactors, the ships utilize mako reactors with a crystal core inside to act as a source of fuel.

A Soryu-Class submarine emerged from the water. Coming out from the hatch was Yuffie Kisaragi. She got on the bridge and watched as the submarine docked at the harbor. She jumped down from the bridge and got off the boat. She turned to see Riza Hawkeye coming toward her.

"I'm back, Riza," Yuffie said, looking at her with a gentle smile on her face.

"How did the mission go? Were you able to locate the target?" Riza asked.

"Yup, I found our guy. He's in Japan," Yuffie said.

"And did you get a positive ID on him?"

Yuffie pulled out her phone and showed her an image of a man wearing a bowler hat alongside a girl with brown and pink hair.

"So it is true..." Riza said. "Roman Torchwickisalive... and he's in Japan."

"Yeah, and that boat he came in on? It matches the report of that missing freighter," Yuffie said.

"I see..." Riza said. "Better to keep this information secret from the Japanese government until we have more information. Eternal Darkness might be making its move."

"Uh... is that a good idea?" Yuffie asked. "I mean, who knows what he's doing with that boat? That ship is loaded with Dust."

"We don't know why he's there. For all we know, he might be trying to supply Ghoul terrorist groups across the nation or he could be doing something even worse than that," Riza said. "And if he has any connections to Eternal Darkness, we must catch him by surprise. We need to know what he's doing there and why he's doing it."

She pulled out her sidearm, checking the gun before putting it back in her holster. "I'll inform Colonel Mustang and General Ironwood. They'll know what to do."

"And what about me?" Yuffie asked.

"You head back to Japan and continue monitoring his movements, but do so with absolute discretion," Riza said. "We got a file on the girl who's with him. Her name's Trivia Vanille, but now she calls herself Neopolitan—"

"Like, the ice cream?"

"Yes, like the ice cream," Riza said, sighing. "According to our Intel, which was given to us by the Valen authorities, she has the power to create illusions. Sometimes she can disguise herself as anyone and there's no limit. She's a skilled combatant. I wouldn't underestimate her if I were you, Yuffie. This girl is a killer, through and through."

She smiled. "Oh come on, Riza. This is me that we're talking about. I'm a ninja of Wutai. I can handle a girl like her."

Riza sighed. This girl was never the one to take things seriously. Even if she is from Wutai, one would think she'd take better care of herself, seeing as how she is to be the next leader of Wutai Village.

"So how was the boat ride?"

Yuffie's cheeks puffed at the mention of it. She felt nauseous. She held her stomach.

"Still can't stand taking boat rides, can you?" Riza asked.

"Not... cool..." Yuffie said.

Social Studies Class

Training Ground Beta

Toshinori Yagi was standing in front of his students as they were sitting in a simulated town that looked similar to any urban area. Kizuna was wearing his usual vest, but this time, he was wearing some leg, shoulder, and arm guards, one sporting red, white, and yellow colors. Izuku looked at Kizuna's newly revised clothes.

"Wow, Kizuna, your hero costume looks different," Izuku said.

"Hero costume?" Kizuna asked.

"O-Oh, that's right, you're not a UA student..." Izuku scratched the back of his head. "Still, when did you have time to get your outfit refitted?"

"Well, my mom packed them in my bag before I got on the airship," Kizuna said. "She said it would protect me better from Heartless and whatever evil spirits come at me."

Ai shuddered. "Please let's not talk about ghosts..."

Kizuna looked at Ai's outfit. Ai looked like she was dressed as a witch, but this time, she had a cape to go along with her witch hat. The outfit had a small skirt to it and she was wearing heels.

"Whoa, Ai, you look like an actual witch..." Kizuna said.

Ai looked at Kizuna and flashed a smirk. She tips her hat off. "Why thank you, Kizuna. I do my best to make myself look like an actual witch~"

Madoka was silently contemplating whether to put a magic arrow between Ai's eyes or not. Kizuna turned around to see Yujo wearing the same uniform Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara were wearing, only Yujo's uniform had a black cape on.

"Seriously Yujo? You're going to wear a cape?" Kizuna asked.

"You have an issue with how I customized my uniform?" Yujo asked. "Besides, Ai's wearing a cape and you're acting like that isn't a red flag when it comes to clothing designs."

"Ok, first of all, her cape isn't that long," Kizuna said. "Plus, yours is completely tattered!"

"A result of my exploits in fighting cursed spirits," Yujo said. "You're jealous because you don't have a cape that makes you look cool in a fight."

"No, I'm not."

"So, are just going to ignore the fact that Gohan looks like he's dressed to go to an anime convention or something?" Baki asked. "Because honestly, I like him better wearing his gi."

"B-But it's my costume whenever I'm masquerading as the Great Saiyaman!" Gohan said. "It's supposed to be heroic!"

"Heroic? More like heroically nerdy," Bakugo said.

"Yeah, that coming from the guy with a pair of big bracers," Yang said.

"I HEARD THAT BLONDIE!" Bakugo yelled.

"Aw, is the Primeape mad that his pride is being besmirched?" Yang asked teasingly.

"As a matter of fact, go fuck yourself," Bakugo replied.

"Nah, if we're going to talk about ridiculous costumes, then how about we talk about Momo's," Blake said. "I could look at her and try not to pretend that her cleavage is there."

"Ok, first of all, body fat tends to be concentrated more in the thoracic region of the human body!" Momo said. "Are you suggesting I deliberately chose this design to make myself look more attractive?!"

"That, or you're secretly an exhibitionist," Panty said.

"Your costume sure doesn't leave much to the imagination," Stocking said.

"Please... no more..." Momo said, devastated and ashamed.

"Foolish," Satsuki said, clicking her heels and turning around to face Momo. "If you must bare your breasts, then bare them proudly for all to see!"

"Well, you don't exactly have any shame, do you, sis?" Ryuko mentions.

"Ok, if we're all done roasting our costumes, can we focus on the lesson?" Yusuke asked.

"Oh yeah..." Everyone said.

"So... what are we doing here?" Kagura asked.

"Well, young Kagura, I'm glad you asked," Toshinori said. "Today, all of you will be weaving in and out of an urban environment to prepare yourselves when you go on patrol throughout the city."

He pulled out a holographic map of the area. "You will have to move from one point to the other. How you get there is up to you." Toshinori pulled out a capsule and pushed down on the button before tossing it. The capsule splits open and a gate appears.

"It'll look something like this," Toshinori said. "We'll split into groups of five individuals and the groups will be determined based on a draw."

He pulled out another capsule and pushed the button on it. He tosses it and a box with a hole in it appears.

"There will be numbers in here. Find the person who drew the same number as you and get together," Toshinori said. "Remember, the goal here is for all five members of your team to reach the goal in under five minutes."

The students went toward the box and began drawing out balls with a number imprinted on them. Kizuna pulled out a ball with a one. After doing some searching, he grouped himself up with Izuku, Madoka, Yoh, and Ruby. Kizuna looked around and saw his fellow students grouping up.

"Let's do our best, everyone," Kizuna said.

"Confident, aren't we?" Sora asked.

'Well, I'm in good spirits, aren't I?' Kizuna thought.

Bakugo begrudgingly walked up to Yang.

"Don't tell me that we got the same number," Yang said, looking at the boy with an irate expression.

"Number 2?" Bakugo asked.

"Gods damn it..." Yang cursed. "Alright, listen here, Bakugo, we have to work together, so whatever you do-"

"Yeah, I get the picture, goldilocks," Bakugo said. "Just stay out of my way, and maybe you won't die."

"Not if you die first."

"Is that a challenge goldilocks?"

"Last one there has to do something for the winner."

"Bring it on."

Yusuke was with Kuwabara, Josuke, Okuyasu, and Koichi. "Huh, so I guess us delinquents gotta stick together."

"Actually, I'm not delinquent..." Koichi said. "I mean..."

Kuwabara had his arm around Koichi's neck.

"Oi, you're one of us now, whether you like it or not," Kuwabara said.

"He's right Koichi. You've been hanging around me and Okuyasu a lot since we were in Morioh," Josuke said.

"B-But Josuke—!"

"Hey now, shrimp, everything will be alright," Kuwabara said. "Right, Urameshi?"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever, Kuwabara," Yusuke said.

After a little bit of time had passed, it was time to begin the exercise.

Later...

Kizuna and his team had gathered at the starting point. Kizuna was doing some stretches. Kizuna saw Izuku come up to him.

"What is it, Midoriya?" Kizuna asked, still stretching.

"Well, I'm kind of curious about your connection to Sora," Izuku said. "See, my quirk has been passed down from one hero to another, and every time it's passed down, not only does it stockpile strength and assimilate quirks, but it also transfers a piece of their consciousness, their heart, and soul. Sure, I know it probably sounds crazy but—"

"Your point being?" Kizuna asked.

"Well... what I'm trying to say is how is your connection with Sora? Is he like a vestige or does it go deeper than that?" Izuku asked.

Kizuna pondered the thought.

"Well... during the course of my training with my mother, there were times where I would experience things that Sora himself experienced," Kizuna said. "He's fought so many battles, he's met so many friends and allies, he's experienced things that no one in this world has ever experienced before. His knowledge and wisdom sometimes pours into my mind that it feels like he and I are... one somehow."

"Really?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah..." Kizuna said. "But I've only touched mere fractions of it, especially during my training with my mom. But I feel like the more I strengthen my connection with Sora, the more I begin to understand him and... something that I can't exactly describe. It's like we're bound to become inseparable at one point that we might just be one and the same."

He looked at Izuku. "What about the vestiges?"

"Oh them? Well, they quickly became my mentors too. I even have a vestige of All Might, but that vestige... well... it's there, but it doesn't really talk. Though, I can sort of feel what All Might feels... in a way. I don't know how to describe it," Izuku said. "You know, maybe we should train together. I mean, I'd like to study your abilities at one point and take some notes."

Kizuna smiled and stopped stretching to turn towards Izuku. "Well, it wouldn't hurt to train with All Might's protege."

Izuku scratched the back of his head. "Y-You don't have to put it like that."

Izuku and Kizuna held hands. "Let's train to become real heroes."

"Right, Izuku," Kizuna said, feeling his bond with Izuku growing stronger.

A klaxon sounded.

"EXERCISE BEGIN." A robotic voice spoke.

"Let's go!" Kizuna said.

Izuku turned his quirk on, his body covered in red marks before he vanished as green bolts of electricity surrounded him. A black tendril grabbed Yoh by the waist. Kizuna launched himself into the air along with Izuku, Ruby, and Madoka. Kizuna jumped onto a wall, his flowmotion aura shimmering. He bounces off the walls from one building to the next. He watched as Madoka hopped from one roof to the next as Ruby was blitzing through using her semblance. Yoh was jumping from one building to the next, still tethered to Izuku.

Control Room

"Wow! Look at them go!" Sayaka said. "They sure can go fast!"

"Yeah, and look at Kizuna," Kaneki said. "He's bouncing between the buildings."

"He'd make a killing if he was doing parkour," Kirishima said.

Training Ground Beta

Balan watched from a distance as he had his morning tea. He put the cup down on the plate and exhaled. He watched as the five youngsters moved through the environment.

'Such energetic chaps,' Balan thought.'They're more eager than I thought, especially that young lad.'

Balan had become amazed at how well Kizuna was performing. He was even doing better than he was while he was training with his mother. Balan couldn't be more excited about the boy's future. Still, it would take more than this to convince the Order to give the boy a proper invitation. Balan knows what the elders of the Order think. They won't budge until they are convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Balan put his tea set down and pulled out a picture of a man with shoulder-length white hair, blue eyes, pale skin, and a tinge of purple on his lips. The man was wearing a kimono and was standing beside Eva, who looked a bit younger.

"Oh, Cecil... if only you could see your boy now..." Balan said, taking his hat off and revealing a more human-like face with a bit of a sad look on his face. "I'm sure he'll become a great hero, just as you once were during that dreadful war..."

Kizuna, Izuku, Madoka, Ruby, and Yoh make it through the gate together.

"Alright, we made it!" Kizuna said.

Kizuna went over to Yoh and the other three gathered around each other.

"That was great, guys," Kizuna said.

The five celebrated as Balan was watching them, unaware that they were being watched by Balan. Balan puts his hat back on and snaps his fingers, vanishing.

Bakugo was letting off explosions while Yang was firing off her gauntlet shotguns to traverse the air. Blake, Black Star, and Kyoko were trying to keep up.

"Hey! Slow down!" Kyoko said. "We can barely keep up!"

"Then move faster, church girl!" Bakugo yelled.

"Church girl?! Bakugo, when I catch up to you, you are so going to hell when I'm through with you!" Kyoka exclaimed.

Meanwhile, in the control room, Kizuna looked at Izuku while Ruby was looking at him too.

"So... do you think that Bakugo has a thing for Yang?" Kizuna asked. "Like, has he ever hung out with a girl before?"

"Well... um... huh," Izuku said after pondering the question. "I... never seen him go out on a single date."

"So you're telling me that he has never considered getting married?" Kizuna asked.

"You do know who we are talking about, right?" Izuku asked. "Wait, why are you asking me this?"

"Because he's your best friend," Ruby said. "And I noticed that he and Yang have been acting... weird around each other."

Yang made it through the gate ahead of Bakugo.

"YES! HA HA!" Yang exclaimed as she looked at Bakugo, who looked furious. "You're going to be polishing my bike before we go out on patrol!"

"F-Fuck you! That one doesn't count! The sun was in my eye!" Bakugo yelled.

Blake, Kyoko, and Black Star made it through before fainting. Tsubaki changed out of her weapon form. "Black Star, are you ok?!"

Yujo had Tokoyami on his back. Yujo had a pair of bat wings where as Tokoyami had Dark Shadow spring forth some wings. The two were gliding through the city while Megumi was riding his shikigami, Nue, with Nobara and Yuji hanging onto its talons.

"So, that quirk of yours... is it sentient?" Yujo asked.

"Dark Shadow is sentient, why do you ask?" Tokoyami asked.

"I'm just curious," Yujo said. "You know, I could teach you more about the darkness. I was molded by it."

"You like darkness as well?" Tokoyami asked.

"Many are scared and sometimes revolted by it because they lack an understanding of the very concept of darkness and akin it to evil," Yujo said. "But once you become one with the dark and live in it for so long, the dark is not so unknown, so evil or ugly."

"Yes... I know what you mean," Tokoyami said.

"Are you two done being creepy?" Nobara asked.

"Silence, woman," Yujo and Tokoyami said.

"What was that?!"

"You heard us, woman," Yujo said.

"You two are so dead to me!" Nobara said.

"Wait, Zoro! That's the wrong way!" Sayaka said.

Zoro, hearing Sayaka's call out, stopped, turned around, and went over to her. "I-I knew that!"

"Say... where is Luffy?" Sayaka asked.

"Sayaka?" Nami asked, tapping her shoulder.

"Yeah?" Sayaka asked.

"Look." Nami pointed to a hand gripping a building.

Sayaka followed the hand down the arm and saw Luffy looking like he was about to catapult himself. Leo was shaking his hands and his head.

"Gum-Gum..."

"LUFFY!" the four shouted.

"... ROCKET!"

He went flying and grabbed everyone all at once, taking them with him.

Ami was clinging onto Chopper's fur for dear life as the deer-human was jumping in the air.

"H-Hey, C-Chopper, I-I think I forgot to mention that I have a tiny fear of heights..." Ami said.

"Well, a little bit of exposure therapy wouldn't hurt," Chopper said. "Just don't-!"

"EEP!"

"... look down..." Chopper said.

He landed on the roof. Sanji kicked his way up to the roof with Robin climbing up the building using several hands like a ladder. Minako was clinging onto Sanji's back.

"Thanks for the ride, Sanji~," Minako said.

"Anything for you, Mademoiselle," Sanji said.

Todoroki was carrying Weiss, who was blushing, as he was creating a path of ice and using his fire as a source of propulsion. Mami was walking on her ribbons while Diana was flying through the air on a broom. Sakura was flying on her magic rod that grew wings.

"You know, when I said my legs were tired, I didn't ask for you to carry me like this," Weiss said.

"Should I drop you off?" Todoroki asked.

"N-No! I-I mean..." Weiss blushes harder. "J-Just carry me..."

"As you wish," Todoroki said, continuing to carry her in his arms.

Meanwhile, in the control room, some of the girls were swooning over Todoroki.

"Man, I wish he was carrying me like that~" Minako said.

"Yeah, he's so dreamy..." Mina said.

Lotte was nodding her head, blushing.

Bakugo on the other hand, still fuming from having lost the bet with Yang, grew even more furious.

"Damn you Icy Hot..." Bakugo muttered. "Trying to get all the attention..."

Ai was flying in the air with a broom. The broom in question is the Shiny Rod itself in a broom-shaped configuration. Akko was riding shotgun on the broom, watching as Maka was riding on top of Soul while he was in weapon form. The scythe had wings, but the blade was noticeably smaller. Crona was also flying, with Ragnarok turning himself into a dragon-like being that was flapping his wings and gliding for Crona. Usagi was also on the broom.

"Geez Usagi, how much do you weigh?" Ai asked.

"H-Hey! What's that supposed to mean?!" Usagi asked. "I-I'm not that heavy!"

Lunch

Kizuna was sitting down with Yoh, who was on the roof.

"You wanted me to talk to me, Yoh?" Kizuna asked.

"Yes, there's something I wanted to talk to you about," Yoh said.

The boys pulled out their bento boxes and opened them. They begin to eat together. Kizuna wondered why Yoh dragged him out here.

"You see, it's about me being a shaman," Yoh said. "There's this tournament that shamans like myself compete every 500 years. And that time is coming."

"A tournament that shamans participate every 500 years? Wait, how do you know that it's coming?" Kizuna asked.

Yoh pulled out his phone and showed Kizuna a news article. The title reads: "Two Comets To Pass the Earth."

"A pair of comets?" Kizuna asked.

"Ragoh and Keito," Yoh said. "These two shooting stars will fly past the Earth, and when they do, it'll signal the beginning of the Shaman Fight, a tournament in which shamans worldwide will duke it out to obtain the Great Spirit and become the Shaman King."

"Great Spirit? Shaman King?" Kizuna asked. "What in the name of Kingdom Hearts are you talking about?"

Yoh smiled. "According to legend, the Great Spirit is the strongest and oldest spirit on Earth, and all souls are bound to return to it. Whoever wins the tournament will make the Great Spirit their guardian ghost and become the Shaman King."

"Ok... so basically, it's like Kingdom Hearts, and whoever wins the tournament basically becomes a god," Sora said."Right?"

'Probably,' Kizuna thought. "Why are you telling me this?"

"Because I intend to win the Great Spirit, and I may have to bring you along for the ride," Yoh said. "If I win and become Shaman King, it'll make life easier for everyone."

Kizuna couldn't help but be concerned that there were more concerns over having such power. For one thing, having god-like power demands heavy responsibility. Having such power, any greedy person would use those powers for their own gain, either unaware or uncaring of the consequences of their actions. Aside from those concerns, he had more questions about this tournament

"Why is the Shaman Fight important?" Kizuna asked. "Why do these two stars play a part in signaling the Shaman Fight?"

Yoh simply smiled. "When Ragoh passes, it heralds the coming of a great calamity that will destroy the world. Only the Shaman King has the power to change that calamity into a rebirth. From there, the Shaman King just guides humanity's future."

"Yeah, but what happens after that?" Kizuna asked. "Assuming a winner is decided, what happens afterward?"

Yoh smiled. "Well, I'm sure I'll have that answer if I win the Shaman Fight."

"And what about the past Shaman Kings?" Kizuna asked.

Yoh paused. Kizuna had raised a point. Surely, the souls of the past Shaman King must be inside the Great Spirit.

"Well... if I meet them, maybe I'll learn something from them and all their knowledge and wisdom," Yoh said. "But enough about the Shaman Fight. There's another reason I wanted you up here."

"Another reason?" Kizuna asked. "What other reason?"

"Well... Amidamaru and I thought about something," Yoh said. "That transformation of yours has me intrigued."

"Oh, you mean my little 'henshin' gimmick?" Kizuna asked. "Well, I don't know the specifics yet, but the basic principle is that each form affects my powers. When I'm in my red form, it's like I'm physically stronger, like my attacks have more oomph. I can feel every impact my fists, my feet, and my keyblade have when they make contact. But for some reason, I can't seem to cast magic."

"I see, trade some advantage for a disadvantage," Yoh said. "Do you think there's more to that power?"

"I think so..." Kizuna said. "I think that if I build up that power, I might get stronger. How I build it up is the question. There are so many mysteries surrounding that power."

Kizuna and Yoh finished eating their food. The two boys got up. Yoh holds Kizuna's hand.

"You'll figure it out," Yoh said. "I'm sure you will, and when you do, it'll be alright."

Kizuna nodded, feeling his bond with Yoh growing stronger.

Mathematics Class

A yellow octopus-looking entity was standing in the classroom. It has a pair of white eyes with a grin that runs from one cheek to the other. Most of the students felt unnerved by the very presence of this... this thing. It was wearing a black academic dress, a small black squarish mortarboard cap with a yellow tassel, and a large black tie with a yellow crescent-shaped moon on it. Its "feet" were nothing but multiple tentacles and it had two arm tentacles with two feelers acting as fingers. The only peoplenotunnerved by its presence were Yujo, Satsuki, Blake, Ami (who was more curious than anything else), Luffy (who was ecstatic), Kid (who was more in awe at its symmetrical body shape), Baki, and Fate.

"Hello there, class, my name is Korosensei and I'll be your math teacher for the entirety of the school year," Korosensei said. "And in case any of you are wondering, yes, I am a person, and yes, this is what my body looks like."

The students were silent. One of them was bound to break the silence eventually.

"Um... what the heck even are you?" Kirishima asks.

"Well, Kirishima, I'm exactly what you see here, a guy who looks like an octopus dressed like a teacher," Korosensei said. "You probably have already figured out that I no longer resemble a human, that part I'm sure everyone here in the school already is aware of."

In a split second, he was right next to Kirishima holding a comb and was already combing his hair.

"I also excel at grooming, cleaning, teaching, and tailoring, and the best part is that I can go at Mach 20, meaning I can do this!" Korosensei said. Then, multiple images of him were all over the place. "I know right? I can multitask and even be in several locations at once, not to mention I can travel across the world faster than even the fastest of jets!"

The images disappeared and he was back at the podium.

"I know, it is a lot to take in, but I can assure you that I'll be the very best teacher you kids will have for this year," Korosensei said. "Now before we begin, does anyone have any questions?"

Ruby raises her hand. "Um... uh..."

"Why do you look like an octopus?" Weiss asked.

"That's sort of a long story, but let's not think about why or how I became this way and focus on your studies, Ms Schnee," Korosensei said. "Also, Ms Belladonna, you can take the bow off. I know that you're a cat Faunus and there is no shame in being different from people."

Blake looked shocked. "H-How did you know?!"

"Because while I may seem like a goofy, seemingly harmless, and friendly octopus, my senses are keen. I could tell by the slight movement of your "bow" from your cat ears moving. You know how uncomfortable it feels to tie your bow so tightly. Furthermore, I couldn't help but notice a hint of sushi on your lips. Judging from the scent, I'd say you were eating salmon."

Blake gasped. Everyone looked amazed.

"Wow! You're so cool, Korosensei!" Luffy said.

"I know, Luffy, I am just that good," Korosensei said.

"Um... that's cool and all... but..."

"Ah! You're right, Ms Kaname, I almost forgot," Korosensei said.

Math books were put on the desks. Korosensei lifted his copy and opened the book.

"Alright class, let's start off by turning to page 30 and we can begin the lesson from there."

Kizuna snapped out of his confusion and opened his book. He watched as his fellow classmates were working listening to Korosensei's lecture. Kizuna tried to pay attention as well, but he couldn't wonder how a being like Korosensei could exist.

Biology Class

Kizuna watched as Stein was giving a lecture on the subject of biology. The man would occasionally adjust the screw on his head to make sure his classmates were paying attention. Chopper was shivering a bit whenever Stein took a glance at him. His hoof was shaking. Tsuyu couldn't help but periodically croak whenever Stein glanced at her. Stein turned around to the whole class.

"So, who's ready for dissections?" Stein asked with a sinister smile.

"W-What are we dissecting, Professor Stein?" Chopper asked.

"Caribou."

"AAAAAHHHH-!"

Literary Class

Robin was describing the difference between katakana and hiragana to the class, highlighting how the former is used to transcribe foreign words while the latter is used for native Japanese words. Both Klaus and Robin's classmates were amazed by her understanding of Japan's writing system.

"You know, maybe she could help make sense of that book your mom gave you," Sora said.

'You really think she'd help me make sense of it?'Kizuna thought.

"It's worth a shot," Sora said.

Kizuna thought about the book his mother handed him before he got on the airship. He attempted to read it during take-off, but he couldn't make sense of it. The writing was a mix of Japanese and Yevon. Kizuna has always struggled with reading and writing in Yevon. It was obvious that the book couldn't be read without a way of deciphering the words. The only thing he could read was its title, "The Path of Ultima." He saw drawings, but without a way of understanding the text in the book, the images were useless. It would take someone with the intellect to crack this ancient encryption. Robin could very well fit the bill. According to Jiminy's notes, Robin is the Straw Hat Pirates' archeologist. Sure, it could be a long shot, but it was a shot worth taking if it all pans out. All he had to do was wait for the right moment.

Art Class

Kizuna looked at Aerith as she looked at Weiss's artwork. He felt calm seeing his art teacher. Maybe it was because of Sora's feeling of security and friendship around her. He was drawing something that his grandmother once showed him when he was visiting her in Besaid. The drawing depicted a being with wings on the back, a fox-shaped head with horns, bird-like talons, and a long lizard-like tail.

"What's that supposed to be?"Sora asked.

'Valefor, the Eikon of Love...' Kizuna thought.'It was said that Valefor used to be a teenage girl before she was made into an Eikon. It is said that Valefor watches over a couple and blesses them with a happy life together. She's like the Spiran equivalent to a cupid.'

It reminded him of all the stories his grandmother told him when he visited his grandmother. He had seen pictures that his grandmother would send to him. Pictures of Besaid, Kilika, Luca, Djose, Guadosolam, Macalania, Bikanel, Bevelle, Mt. Gagazet, and finally, Zanarkand. He remembers the Hymn of the Fayth and how soothing the song was. Kizuna wished he could see Spira yet again. There was something about Spira that made him feel at peace there.

He had been so self-absorbed that he hadn't noticed that Aerith came over to see his artwork.

"Wow... how beautiful it is, Daichi..." Aerith said.

"H-Huh-GAAAAAH!" He fell out of his seat, to which Aerith giggled.

After School

Kizuna made it to where the mission board was located and saw several missions available. He pulled his scroll out that had his student ID. His Rank was C. He looked for a C-Ranked mission that he could go on. There were many students crowding the mission board, it was hard to get all the way up to the board. He got up to the board and saw a mission scroll. He pulls it off the board and looks at it.

Mission Rank - C

Recon Mission

Requestor: CCG 20th Ward Branch

Location: Tokyo, Japan

Mission Details: Meet up with CCG Ghoul Investigators Amon and Mado and aid in an ongoing investigation regarding missing persons alongside the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. Meet up with investigators to be briefed on said investigation. Proceed at your discretion. Upon completion, inform Mission Control.

'The CCG? Missing Persons case?' Kizuna thought.

"Sounds like trouble at home," Sora said."Guess we'll be going home sooner than we thought we would."

Kizuna walked away with the scroll and saw Izuku, Yoh, Ruby, and Madoka coming at him.

"Choosing a mission already?" Yoh said. "What is it?"

Kizuna sighed. "Sounds like there's trouble brewing at home."

"Trouble? At home?" Izuka asked.

"Yeah, said there's an ongoing investigation regarding some missing persons," Kizuna said. "I... I have to look into this myself."

Madoka stepped in front of Kizuna.

"Kizuna, wait-"

"If you're thinking of tagging along, don't," Kizuna said. "I've seen what Tokyo is like outside the 20th Ward, it could be dangerous, especially at night."

"Well, you're not going alone," Izuku said. "Heroes don't work by themselves. They work together."

"But-"

Yoh puts a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, it'll be alright. We've been through worse."

"And besides, I'd like to see Tokyo again," Ruby said. "Besides, I haven't even seen Tokyo Tower yet!"

"G-Guys..." Kizuna looked at them. He nodded as he looked at them. "Alright... you guys can tag along. But first, I need to go see Robin."

Library

"You want me to help you decipher the writing in this book?" Nico asked, raising an eyebrow as she held an old and tattered book. "Look, I may be an archeologist, but that doesn't make a cryptologist."

"But in literary class, you-"

"Look, I know how important it all is, but I can't."

"Why not?"

"Because I've stumbled onto something interesting," Nico said. "This is an archeological account written by Nas M. Nor, mother of Xeha T. Nor, CEO of Nor Technologies."

"You mean that big tech firm that's at the forefront of the magitek industry?" Kizuna asked.

Nico nods her head. "Exactly. According to her notes, there was this highly advanced civilization called Lufenia. Supposedly, these Lufenians harnessed the power of the magic crystals seen all over the world. They were such an advanced civilization with a strong culture, and highly advanced medical practices, and were even capable of creating life."

"Ok, but what about-?"

"Have Leonardo decipher it," Nico said. "I'm sure his All-Seeing Eyes can make quick work of it."

"Ok... ok, I'll do that."

Kizuna leaves the library, leaving Nico to look at her book. "Hmm... I wonder what happened to these Lufenians..."
