Disclaimer: I don't own anything. This is just a story for fun.

A few miles away from the pool, the scientist, guard, and driver had recovered from the crash Wendy had caused during her escape. The scientist was a young man named Dr. David, the guard was named Wringer, and the driver was named Bob. The three men looked at the damaged truck and saw that Wendy had escaped.

"The specimen has escaped! The boss and the other investors aren't going to be pleased with this!" Cried Dr. David.

"Looks like we had to hunt down the mermaid, she couldn't have gone too far on her fins. Got to make a few calls to the boss to get some extra help and see if the locals around here can be of any use." Said Wringer.

"I see a double rainbow!" Laughed Bob as he pointed up at the clear night sky.

Bob was still feeling the affects of the tranquilizer.

Dr. David tended to Bob as Wringer pulled out a phone that was still functional from his pocket and began to make some calls.

A few days later a bus made it's way into Gravity falls. Aboard the bus were two preteen twins named Mason and Mabel.

Mason was a boy who went by his nickname Dipper. He had this nickname because he had a birthmark on his forehead that resembled the star consolation the Big Dipper, which was kept hidden underneath some messy brown hair. Dipper wore a blue and white baseball cap with a dark moderate blue brim and a dark moderate blue pine tree on the front, a navy blue vest, a reddish-orange t-shirt, gray shorts, white knee-high socks with a red stripe, black sneakers with white soles, and a gray digital wristwatch.

Mabel had long brown hair that reaches her hips and curls towards the bottom, a little tuft of hair on the back of her head. She wore a short-sleeved pink undershirt underneath a slightly darker warm pink sweater with a shooting star, accompanied by a purple, teal and orange-striped tail falling toward the left, a matching warm pink headband, a loose purple pencil skirt, coupled with black ballerina flats and white socks.

Both twins were on their way to Gravity Falls to spend the summer with their twin great uncles Stanford and Stanly, who they called their Grunkles. They had nicknames like Dipper. Stanford liked being called Ford and Stanly liked to be called Stan. Mabel was exited to go to a new place and spend time with some family members she only met a couple of times, while Dipper was excited for that, he was also excited to explore Gravity Falls.

Stan and Ford were somewhat famous for being explorers and investigating the unknown and strange. The two brothers had spent several years out at sea on a boat called the Stan'o'war where they investigate odd places like the Bermuda Triangle and the Bahama Quadrangle. After years out at sea the brothers had decided to return to land and had set up a lab and business in the town of Gravity Falls, which they said was a incredible mysterious place. Dipper and Mabel had exchanged letters with Stan and Ford over the years and we're excited to spend time with them.

The bus came to a stop and Dipper and Mabel got out with their bags along with some tourists. They all looked ahead and saw a large shack building with a big sign that said 'Mystery Shack' on the roof. The young twins approached the building and a puff of smoke appeared before them. When it cleared Dipper and Mabel were faced with their Grunkle Stan.

Stan had grey hair, a somewhat large, droopy, pear-shaped, bumpy, reddish-pinkish nose, large ears, fair skin a perpetual five o'clock shadow covering his lower face. He was dressed in a black suit, with the jacket buttoned closed, a red bow tie, a red fez, big light brown shoes, and black glasses.

"Hiya kids!" Said Stan.

"Grunkle Stan!" Said the twins happily.

"Ford the kids are here." Called Stan to the Mystery Shack.

"Kids!" Said a man that looked a lot like Stan stepped out of the shack.

Ford's hair was dark gray with a horizontal silver streak along the sides of it and he possesses unusually long sideburns. His chin had a cleft and slight five o'clock shadow. Ford's nose was visually smoother than Stan's, lacking bumps, and a central polydactyl with six fingers on each hand. Ford had a much narrower build than Stan and wore tan coat, a red turtleneck with a black belt that slings across his chest, black pants, and large brown boots.

"Welcome to Gravity Falls, kids." Said Ford as went to greet the kids.

"So are you two working on any mysteries?" Asked Dipper.

"Nothing major right now, but there have been a reports of odd happenings at the local public pool." Said Ford.

"What kind of happenings?" Asked Mabel.

"A bunch of kids and people have been suffering embarrassing situations. Clothes have been randomly stripped from people when they're in the pool. A couple of kids say they saw something in the pool that stripped one of them. They say they saw a pair of arms rise out of the pool and steal some swim trunks before they disappeared back under the water." Said Ford.

"A pool ghost?" Asked Mabel excitedly.

"We don't know, but we're going to the pool to have some fun and look around to see if there really is something going on or if it's just a bunch of rumors and people pulling pranks." Said Stan.

"Awesome!" Said Mabel in excitement.

Dipper paled a little as he suddenly had a flashback to a few years back. Dipper was ten and he was at the local neighborhood pool. He got on the diving board and dove into the pool. Dipper hit the water, resurfaced, and got out and people began to laugh and point at him. He looked confused and then he looked down down to see he was no longer wearing his swimsuit and his manhood was exposed for everyone to see. Dipper screamed in embarrassment as he quickly covered himself and saw his swim trunks floating in the pool. A year later Dipper was back at the pool walking around and minding his own business when a random girl pulled his trunks down exposing himself again to the public. People pointed and laughed at Dipper, including Mabel.

Dipper had a bad history with public pools.

The two pairs of twins got ready to head to the pool. Dipper put on a loincloth and several pairs of swim trunks. He wasn't going to take any chances and he was going to figure out what was going on at the pool.

The foursome soon headed off to the pool.

To be continued.
