Chapter 4: Unlocking The Power Of True Creation

[Location: Aldera Kindergarten]

[Time: 12:34pm]

Izuku was minding his own business, writing in his notebook and drawing. Ever since he had an altercation with Katsuki in the woods, the boy actually respected him for fighting back, and when others were to try and tease Izuku for not having his quirk yet, Katsuki would be the first to scare them off before Izuku could.

During the past year since, Izuku had been noting down everyone's quirk with more vigor and detailed descriptions in his notebooks, hoping to use these not just to help him understand his own powers, but to use them to defend himself against those who try to pick on him.

"Hey Izu, whatcha doing?" Izuku heard a voice speak to him, looking up from his notebook and saw the only other kid who actually liked him, which was a girl with pink hair and eyes.

Her name was Hareta Hanu, and unlike everyone else, she actually enjoyed being around Izuku and didn't care if he had a quirk or not.

"Oh, hello Haru-chan. Just working on my notebook" Izuku said, going back to writing.

"You always have your nose stuck in that book of yours. What do you even write in there?" She asked, sitting next to Izuku and scooching close to see the pages.

"Oh, nothing much, I just document any quirk I see and write it down. I also put down strengths and weaknesses, ways to use the quirk and if the quirk can be paired with any other quirks. I also draw the person who the quirk owns, but I don't know if I should write more or not…" Izuku began to ramble on, something Haru didn't care about, she found his little quirk enjoyable to watch.

"Can I see?" Haru asked, holding her hand for Izuku's book.

Izuku looked at her quizzically, then handed her his notebook, a sign of trust not even Katsuki has.

Looking through the pages, Haru was amazed by the drawings Izuku made. Being 5, she wasn't really interested with the writing, but the drawings were something she found extremely good to look at.

"Where's my page?" She asked, and Izuku said he doesn't have the book that has her, since this specific notebook is a new one he bought a few weeks ago.

"Really? Aw, I wanted to see my drawing. I wanted to know if you drew me cute or something?" Haru pouted, and handed Izuku his notebook back.

"I can show you tomorrow, if you like?" Izuku offered, and Haru lit up like a candle being given a source of fire.

"Really?! Oh thank you Izu!" She cheered, bringing Izuku in for a hug, which he gave back, but a little nervously, since he was still nervous around girls.

When they separated, Haru asked Ozuku a very difficult question.

"Izu, what would you do if you don't get your quirk? Will you still try to be a hero?" Haru asked, nervous she would upset her friend.

"Of course! There are many heroes who can still fight without their quirk! Take the underground hero, Eraserhead. His quirk allows him to erase the quirk of anyone he looks at, but it doesn't work on mutant type quirks and when he blinks, his quirks effect wears off." Izuku stated, going into one of his muttering sprees.

"Because his quirk isn't reliable in a crown fight or a one on one with a mutant quirk, he relies on his fighting skills more than his quirk." He said, looking at Haru who has sparkles in her eyes.

"Really?! I didn't know that. Does that mean I can become a hero even with my quirk?" She asked, holding out her hand and letting a link flower block from her palm.

"Of course! Anyone can be a hero! Plus, your quirk can be useful. In my notebook, I theorised you may be able to produce many different kinds of flowers, and maybe different plants that can have medicinal properties that can help people when they are hurt or distressed…" Izuku continued to ramble, and without realising, Haru was looking at the flower in her hand and a small smile crossed her face.

When her quirk came in, she thought from then on she couldn't become a hero, as both her parents and teacher told her, and even the kids teased her for having a weak and pathetic quirk, but Izuku had shown her a way for her to be a hero. Not a flashy hero who fights villains head on, but one who can help people when they're hurt or scared.

Again, she hugged Izuku for cheering her up, and Izuku, a little flustered, said he was happy to help, returning the hug.

"Hey, nerd!" Katsuki shouted, walking up to the two of them, his two luckiest walking behind him.

"Oh, hey Kacchan! What do you need?" Izuku asked, and Katsuki said the adults needed to speak with him.

Izuku's happy mood turned sour, as the longer he went without having his quirk come in, the adults started to treat him like he was either made of glass, or treat him just like how people treat ants or worms.

Izuku asked what they wanted him for, and Katsuki said he didn't know, just that the stupid adults wanted the both of them.

"What did you do?" Izuku asked, passing off Katsuki.

"I didn't do anything! Stop assuming I did something wrong!" Katsuki barked, and Izuku lifted an eyebrow, holding up his hand and began to list off things Katsuki did wrong, and when Izuku got to his 8th finger, Katsuki roared, saying he understands.

With that, Izuku stares at you from the ground, telling Haru he will have to go, and Haru said to be careful, as she is fully aware of the adults' treatment of Izuku.

"I will. I'll have Kacchan with me to defend me. Right Kacchan?" Izuku asked, and Katsuki waved his hand, saying whatever, before grabbing Izuku by the collar and dragging him.

"If you don't want to pass off the teachers, we better get there as soon as possible.

[Location: Teacher's Office]

When they arrived at the front office, they both had to wait outside for their parents to come, as they were called. Izuku asked if Kacchan had any idea what could have happened for their parents to be called, but Katsuki ignored him, more focused on staring daggers into the wall ahead of him.

Izuku watched the clock, seeing the hands tick by every second. He was so focused on it, he completely ignored everything around him, like everything had no importance to him.

The reason for this was not the way the clock ticked by, but because of the colours of the clock. Red body and black hands with a white background. It seemed mundane at first, but for Izuku, these are the colours he associated with Momo.

"Momo." Izuku whispered, making Katsuki look at him curiously.

"They he'll say?" He asked, making Izuku snap out of his staring contest with the clock.

"Sorry Kacchan, what did you say?" Izuku asked, almost forgetting what he just did.

Katsuki clicked his tongue, saying to ignore what he said, confusing Izuku even more. Then, coming through the office doors, Izuku's mother walked through the door, still on the phone with his father.

"Hisashi dear, I need to hang up. I'll speak to you about your plan after I and Izuku come back from the hospital, alright." She said, having Hisashi sigh through the other side of the call.

"..."

"Love you too dear, just please, think about Izuku more." Inko said, ending the call.

When she saw Izuku, her saddened mood changed and she smiled, happy to see her little boy.

"Hey Izuku, how was your day today?" Inko asked, bending down to Izuku's level.

Izuku said he had a good day, but then asked why she was here.

"Well, it's because I am picking you up early today for an appointment with the doctor you have today." Inko answered, and Izuku knew what this doctor's appointment was.

"I'm sorry, but he won't be able to become a hero."

"You see here, this x-ray shows your son having a second toe joint."

"Best to not get attached to him, he may not make it to adulthood."

Izuku was frozen, not able to move or speak. Inko saw how scared her baby was, instinctively grabbing his shoulder and telling him to say anything. She was shaking him almost violently, as her son's blanket stare was soulless and fixed to the ground.

Thankfully for the worrying mother, Katsuki knocked on Izuku's head lightly; like a coconut, and Izuku was brought back, seeing his mother was almost brought to tears.

"Mum, what's wrong?" He asked, rubbing his head from Katsuki bumping it.

"You… you didn't move, or speak. Are you okay, honey?" Inko asked, clasping her son's tiny hands with her.

Izuku didn't know what to say. He was catatonic because of his painful experience he will have to relive today, but his mother didn't know that, and he didn't want her to know, ever. But how can he play off his behaviour to stop his mother from worrying. Then, Katsuki spoke up, unintentionally helping him in his panicked state.

"The idiot is probably scared of the doctors. It's stupid, but that's how Deku is, a scary cat." Katsuki said, and the small jab made Izuku defensive.

"Hey, I'm not a scaredy cat! Just because I don't like the doctors, it doesn't make me a scaredy cat!" Izuku told off Katsuki, who just laughed.

Inko smiled, watching the two boy's tease each other, something that reminded her and Mitsuki's relationship when they met.

"ALRIGHT BOY!!! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO THIS TIME?!!!" The roaring tremors of the very woman Inko calls her best friend, bursted through the doors, staring directly at her son, who stared back.

"The fuck if I know?! Ow! What the hell you hag?!" Katsuki spat at his mother, who slapped him over the head for both swearing and speaking to her so disrespectfully.

"Don't give me that shit Katsuki! Whenever I am told to come here, you have done something stupid or idiotic!" Mitsuki shouted, then started to pull her son's cheek.

"So spill it! What, did, you, do?!" She asked once more, Katsuki telling her he did nothing, and also that she was hurting him.

Inko and Izuku watched quizzically at the pair, and when they looked at each other, they rolled their eyes, while the other adults watched in horror.

"Mrs Bakugou, the principle is allowing you to enter. And please, try not to yell, she has sensitive ears." The receptionist said, offering the two pairs the principle office doors.

Mitsuki lets go of her son, telling him to come in and she'll learn what he got into. Katsuki rolled his eyes, telling his mum she doesn't get to tell him what to do, who spat back and told he is his mother, and she'll tell him what to do anytime she wants.

"Sorry about making a scene Inko, it is hard to wrangle my boy to have good behaviour. Really wish Katsuki was as nice as your son." Mitsuki said, and Inko said that Katsuki would get better later in age, reminding her friend about how she was when they were young, and Mitsuki laughed.

"Yeah, you're right! Guess I was hoping he took after his father's gentle side, but he is more like me than I like." Mitsuki said, hoping to god her son gets better behaviour.

Inko then said that she and Izuku must leave, since she needs to take Izuku to his doctor's appointment. Mitsuki understood, saying she won't treat Izuku differently if he has a quirk or not, then she knelt down to Izuku, giving him a motherly smile she rarely gives her own son.

"And remember kiddo, if anyone gives you crap about you not having a quirk, you can let Katsuki deal with them, and if he doesn't, then I'll make sure they won't mess with you again." Mitsuki said, ruffling Izuku's hair.

Izuku laughed, saying he can defend himself perfectly, but he will tell her if he needs to.

"That a good boy, you shouldn't let anyone push you around. Now, I must take care of whatever my son did. See you two later." Mitsuki said, walking into the office with her son.

Inko and Izuku also left the Kindergarten, ready to bring Izuku to his appointment.

"Mum, who were you talking to on the phone? Was it dad?" Izuku asked, holding his mother's hand.

"Yeah it was. Why?" She said, looking down at her son.

"You seemed upset. Did dad do something?" Izuku asked, and Inko had a sour look, unable to answer her son, but his puppy dog eyes stopped her from keeping her mouth shut.

"You're dad was given a possible promotion at his job. It would let him make almost double the pay, but he would need to move away for a few years." Inko said, her face showing she was annoyed from her husband's idiotic decision.

Izuku knew what this promotion was. It was the promotion that made his father move to the US, and that was the last day he ever saw or talked to him. This day was getting worse and worse.

"Why is dad leaving? Are we struggling with money?" Izuku asked, and it seemed to make Inko more and more uncomfortable, but she couldn't just not answer her son's questions, he deserves to know.

"No, we're not. Both me and your father are making enough to support us, but your father suspects you don't have a quirk, and this promotion could allow him to solely support the two of us, while he was away in the US." Inko said, remembering the conversation she had with her husband over the phone.

[Flashback]

"AMERICA?! Are you insane?! Izuku needs you! I need you! Why are you okay with leaving the two of us alone?!" Inko screamed over the phone, making Hisashi drop his phone he was holding on his shoulder.

"Inko, I'm sorry, but I need this. We need this. We won't be able to support our son when he grows up, and I don't want to lose him because this funked up country thinks the quirkless are lesser humans!" Hisashi said, focusing on his phone instead of his suitcase packaging.

"Honey, you'll lose Izuku from being away from him! He'll ask too many questions on why you left! And you don't know he is quirkless, maybe he has a hidden quirk we don't know of!" Inko said, trying to reason with her husband, but Hisashi sighed over the phone.

"Inko, darling, listen. Izuku is already 5 years old. He isn't showing any signs of a quirk factor, and he also has an extra toe joint. He doesn't have a quirk, you need to realise our son won't live a normal life. I want to help that, moving to the US will allow me to start the process to allow all three of us to move there. I don't want our son to live a life full of torture and neglect." Hisashi said, the further he spoke, the more he started to break down.

"Hisashi, darling, calm down, I understand. But Izuku will think you left him because he is quirkless. And I don't want to leave home, I lived here for my whole life. I don't want…" Inko said, but Hisashi rudely cut her off.

"What you want means nothing when Musutafu is in the top 5 cities in Japan for having the highest quirkless suicides. Izuku's needs are more important than our wants. I don't want to leave him, but I have to, to help support him." Hasashi said, now angry his wife thinks staying in Masutatsu was more important than giving their son a safe and happy life.

Inko stayed silent, something that unnerved Hisashi, thinking he went too far. So he tried to fix what he said.

"Darling, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you. I was just trying to…" Hisashi tried to apologise, but Inko cut him off.

"Hisashi dear, I need to hang up. I'll speak to you about your plan after I and Izuku come back from the hospital, alright." She said, having Hisashi sighed, telling her to have a good afternoon, and he'll see them after the appointment at the hospital.

"Love you too dear, just, think about Izuku more."

[End of Flashback]

When Inko remembered the phone call, they were already at the bus stop, waiting for the bus to the hospital.

Izuku asked if father would stay if he told him, and Inko just said she hopes so, since she doesn't want to live alone in their apartment, around people who were slowly closing themselves off the longer her son showed no signs of having a quirk.

("Maybe Hisashi has a point.") Inko said, realising she was giving not just her neighbours, but everyone of this city the benefit of the doubt.

Izuku meanwhile, seeing the conversation was not over with his mother, tried to think of a plan to make his father stay. He wants to have his father stay, but if he is unable to unlock his power before he sees him again, then he'll lose him, forever.

So from the bus stop stop, onto the bus, off the bus and into the hospital, Izuku tried to remember the mantra he needed to speak to unlock his power. He needs to, he needs to unlock his power. It has been three years since Momo unlocked her own, so he should be able to do it too. He just needs to think harder.

When Inko brought Izuku to his doctor, the man was going to do some tests to see if Izuku has the quirk gene or not. Inko was expecting many tests, but all Izuku needed to do was an x-ray of his foot.

The doctor says that, since Izuku was already 5 years old, none of the other tests would be accurate at all, and this test is the only reliable and consistent test they can do for him. Inko understood the doctor, so leaving her son with the doctor, Izuku had both his feet x-rayed.

Once the test was done, the Midoriyas were made to sit alone in the doctor's office, waiting for the doctor to bring them the results for the test. Well, Inko was. Izuku was focusing on the figuring in hand hands, trying so hard to remember the mantra he was supposed to remember from the beginning.

("C'Mon, stupid brain. Remember already! I need to remember! If I can't, then I'll lose dad, and I don't want that.") Izuku thought, his mind racing faster than it ever did even when he was alive in his previous life.

Then the door opened, the doctor walking in, a sheet of paper in his hand, which he then hung up on the wall.

"Hello Mrs Inko. Hope your day has been good. The test has been analysed and we have the results." The doctor said, sitting down in his chair, his eyes covered from his pair of purple goggles.

"What does it say? Does my son have any quirk at all?" Inko asked, holding her hands together, praying her son had at least a small quirk.

"Well, may I ask your son a question?" The doctor asked, confusing Inko, but when nodded, shaking her son to look at the nice doctor.

But Izuku was ignoring her, more focused on his hands than this whole conversation, which concerned her, since he was like this the whole way here.

"I'm sorry, my son has been acting up today, and I don't know why. Maybe I could answer the question for him?" Inko offered, and the doctor sighed, questioning why he was made to look after children instead of focusing on his personal work.

'Sure, why not. Now, does your son want to become a hero, or not?" The doctor asked, and Inko smiled, proud to know he can answer this question with her whole heart and love for her son.

"Oh he really does! He always wanted to become a hero just like All-Might! You don't know how many times…" Inko proudly said, almost dropping into a muttering spree of her own, but the doctor cut her off with a tone of voice that was a mix of annoyed and tolerant.

"Then he should give that dream up. It is impossible for him tk become one." The doctor codly said, freezing Inko in her premature speech.

"I'm sorry, what are you implying?" Inko asked, horrified at the answer the doctor would give, but she knew, she knew for a very long time what her son was.

"You son has no quirk. He is quirkless. In this x-ray, it shows he has an extra toe joint, which is a sign of quirklessness." The doctor said, dropping the loudest bombshell Inko ever had in her life, one she was trying to hold up for most of Izuku's life.

During Inko's panic attack, Izuku was still locked in his own mind. Trying so hard, he could feel his own blood vessels bulging and popping from intense thinking, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't remember.

He then began to cry, and not like his sappy cry baby crying, it was silent, lack of hope crying, and he hugged himself to try and cope with the idea he won't keep his father with him, because it is his own fault. Just like in his old life.

He could feel the small connection he had with Momo, but this connection was so small and strained, it felt like it would be snapped if he let go of hope.

The doctor meanwhile, sighed in annoyance. He had both a crying snot nosed brat, and an overprotective panicking mother. Neither was good on its own, and he was dealing with two of them. So he needed to have them leave to keep any of his brain cells intact.

"Alright Mrs. Midoriya, It is time to go. I have many more patients waiting for me, and I can't have you hold them up." The doctor coldy said, forcing Inko out of her seat.

"Wait, but, but the test must be wrong! My son isn't quirkless, he can't be!" Inko tried to plead with the doctor, hoping what he told her was a lie or all of this was a nightmare.

"Sorry ma'am, but there's nothing left for your son in this world. The best you can do for him is either leave the country or hide him away from society. Because trust me, the world will take your son away quicker than you think." The doctor said, a small glimpse of his eyes through his goggles made Inko freeze in place.

The doctor told her again to leave, which Inko did, telling Izuku it was time to go, grabbing his arm and pulling him away to the door. Thankfully for the doctor, the brat didn't pick a fight with his mother, and followed his mother out of his office. The doctor then sat down, opened a nearby drawer and took some pain killer.

"Kids these days. Such an annoyance." He said, looking at his files for his next patient.

In the hospital lobby, Hisashi Midoriya was waiting for his wife and son to come back from an Izuku appointment. A small part of him wanted to hope his son had a quirk, so that can have an excuse to stay and be with his son, but he knew full well that was just fiction.

And his hopeful thinking was proven wrong when he saw his son and wife round the corner, his son a crying mess and his wife matching, but with a more horrified expression than Izuku's pure sadness.

"Inko! What happened, are you okay?" Hisashi asked, running up to the both of them, bringing his wife into a hug.

"You were right, Hisashi. Put son, he's, he's…" Inko snorted, layering her tears in Hisashi's jacket.

"It's okay honey, it will all be fine. Let's head home and speak there privately." Hisashi said, believing it was best to not speak of Izuku's condition in a public lobby.

Inko nodded, separating from Hisashi and walking in front of him. Hisashi followed along, walking next to Izuku's other side and lending out a hand for Izuku to grab. Izuku did grab it, hoping to feel his father's hand one last time before he left them.

[Location: Yaoyorozu's Manor]

With Momo during the same time as Izuku's doctor's appointment, Momo was currently training, working on her fighting skills. Even as a five year old, she had both incredible strength and flexibility, something her trainer took full advantage of.

"C'mon miss Yaoyorozu! Put more weight into it! Villains won't feel it if you hit them like a sissy!" Her trainer instructed, making Momo burst into a flight of rage, her eyes turning purple for a second, giving her immense strength, strength she used to strike the punching bag so hard, she ripped in half and sent the ripped half into the wall, causing it to explode.

"Umm, maybe not that much weight?" Her teacher mused, scratching his head at how impressive, but also terrifying Momo's strength was.

"Sorry sir, I got a little carried away. It is hard to control my emotions when I start to get frustrated." Momo said, looking down at her boxing gloves and saw she blew through them as well, as her fingers were now poking through them.

"I believe we are done today. Why don't you take a shower, while I'll clean up here." Her teacher offered, which Momo said she was happy to, as she felt both exhausted and sweaty from their workout today.

Removing the gloves, she bolted to her P.E bag, waving to her teacher and ran off to the showers. On her way to them, she felt a pain strike her temple, causing her to stumble and drop to the floor. An attendant saw this and quickly helped Momo up, asking if she was okay?

Momo didn't understand why she felt pain in her head, but she knew it had to do something with Izuku. Closing her eyes, she tried to find the source of the pain, and after seconds of looking, she found it came from a string of purple energy, which attached to what she believed was the source of her powers, but the string disappeared into a dark void.

Momo, within her mind, reached for the string, and when her imaginary hand grabbed it tightly, she felt the pain from before explode in intensity, causing her real body to spasm in pain, her hands shooting up ro grab her head, her eyes flashing purple to black periodically.

The addentant tried to calm her down, even going as far as to hold the girl down, but Momo was too strong, her instincts forcing her body to toss the addendent away from hope, which caused even more noise.

Back in Momo's mind, she tried to figure out why this string was causing her so much pain.

("Maybe the string is damaged? What is it even for?") She questioned, as she tried to look further into the darkness, to see if she could spot where the string went.

The string was visible, but the further on she went, the thinner it became, and when she carried on looking further and further, it was also fraying.

("What, why is it damaged?") Momo thought, when she saw a piece of the string break off, causing a surge of pain to flood her body once more, prematurely setting off Momo's abilities, destroying pictures, vases and carpets, but not the dozen of attendants that had come to hold Momo down and calm her.

("Okay, found the source of the pain. Now I need to know why it is breaking. Maybe Izuku has his own one?") Momo thought, as she pushed her conscience further up the string trail, curious to see how far she could reach.

To her surprise, she can push her conscience very far, far enough she was able to touch the frayed parts of the string. Then she heard crying. Looking ahead, her eyes widen with so many different emotions, both positive and negative.

("Izuku?") Momo spoke quietly, as she looked to the far distance to where the string continued and saw the curled up body of Izuku Midoriya, his back turned to her, crying hopelessly.

Momo couldn't believe it, it was him, or his conscience. She can speak to him, actually speak to him. But why is he crying? And his side of the string was a black as the darkness that shrouded them.

("Has he not unlocked his powers yet? Is that why the string is breaking? It might need the flow of power from the both of us to keep together. I need to tell her.") Momo planned, moving forwards to meet with Izuku, but she was stopped by an invisible barrier.

Momo questioned why there was a barrier here, but she guessed it here to separate their two minds so they don't merge. But she needs to get to him to both comfort him and help him unlock his powers.

("Izuku, it's okay, I'm here! You're safe!") Momo yelled, but either the barrier blocked her thought from passing through or he just ignored her, Ozuku wasn't moved, continuing to cry on the spot.

Momo could feel Izuku's emotions and distress from here. The string was so sensitive, it was passing their emotions across, and Izuku was full of sadness and hopelessness that Momo couldn't handle any of it.

("Dammit, I need to get to him, but this barrier is in the way.") Momo thought, but then she remembered one aspect of true destruction, that there is nothing in creation she cannot destroy.

And that includes intangible things, like thoughts, memories, like this barrier. Feeling her need to rescue Izuku, she took a deep breath, calming her heart and mind, and she placed her hands onto the barrier.

("Don't worry Izuku, I am coming.") Momo said, as she placed her hand onto the barrier, feeling how smooth and getting like the barrier was, like cling film.

("Hakai.") Momo whispered, as she turned purple and the barrier began to be torn open.

Momo smiled, happy to see her idea worked, but when the hole grew to her size, it already started to regrow and shrink. Knowing she didn't have much time, she pried the hole open with her hands, feeling the crushing weight of the barrier, but she did not give in, determined to help her friend.

("IZUKU!!! TURN AROUND!!!") Momo shouted with all her heart, and her words finally reached the greenette, turning his head to meet the eyes of his only friend from his old life.

("Momo?") He questioned, believing he was seeing things, since he was in his mind.

("Yes, it's me! Argh!!! Listen, we don't have time! You need to unlock the seal on your powers!") Momo frantically said, feeling the hole close on her with more pressure.

("But, I don't know how. I don't remember the words.") Izuku said, his eyes filled with tears.

Momo told Izuku it will be alright, she will help him. She pushed the barrier back harder, allowing her to pass to the other side, allowing her to approach Izuku. But when she got close, a purple chain burst out of nowhere, clasping onto Momo's wrist and dragging her back through the hole, but she resisted.

("Momo!") Izuku yelled, rushing to her side, a white chain from Izuku's side clasp around his neck, pulling him away from Momo.

("What are these?! Why is this happening?!") Izuku questioned, trying to break the chain from his neck, but they wouldn't budge.

("I told you, we don't have time! Where is your scroll? It should be here somewhere!") Momo asked, frantically looking around Izuku's empty mind.

When she Unlocking her own powers, she remembered when looking for the incantation, she read from a scroll in her mind, so she believed Izuku would have his own one, and they just have to find it.

Back in the real world, Izuku's body was motionless, his eyes staring blankly into the distance. His parents were terrified, trying their best to wake Izuku from whatever spell he was under.

For Momo, she was finally calm, too calm actually. She was standing on her feet, her eyes glazed over, and her stance both unmoving and wavering. All the attendants and her parents tried to bring her back to reality, but they couldn't shake her awake enough.

Back in their minds, Momo, with an extra chain on her leg, and Izuku tried their hardest to spot the scroll. Then the string nearly tore apart, causing both to feel a jolt of pain, but this pain wasn't registered in the outside bodies.

("I'm sorry Momo! If I just remembered, we wouldn't be in this mess.") Izuku apologised, feeling the tug of the chain becoming stronger.

Momo didn't understand why he was apologising. Thus it wasn't his fault. None of them knew this would happen.

("Izuku, it's alright. This isn't your fault! We can fix this! I know we can!") Momo tried to cheer up Izuku, but it seemed he was too preoccupied with his own mind, that her words were no longer reaching.

("AH!!!") Momo screamed, feeling more chains wrap themselves on her free limbs.

Momo cried out for Izuku, something she did on instinct. She saw how small Izuku looked, how terrified of what he believes he has done. She didn't like to see him like this, and she will not stand for this.

Her rage boiled, her destructive power flared, and with a mighty roar, she released the largest flow of power she has ever released, breaking the chains that were wrapped around her, freeing her to hold Izuku.

But instead of running to Izuku, from the corner of her eye, she spotted a speck of white light in the distance, and she knew what this light was. From behind her, she saw even more chains trying to pull her away, but she had more important things to attend to.

So with acrobatic skills that would even make Ashido jealous, she weaved her way around the chains, rushing to the light to bring balance between their souls.

("Come on, almost got it…") Momo strained her voice, her fingers inching closer and closer to the light.

She felt a chain tightly wrap itself around her stretched arm, and almost pulled her away from it, but Momo stretched her other arm, allowing it to fade into the light.

Hoping to grab something inside the light, she grasped the empty space inside, hoping something will come out, but unfortunately, another chain came in and pulled her free arm out of the light.

("NO!!! HAKAI!!!") She screamed, the chains pulling her away from the light, but she won't allow it, destroying the chains once more and reaching into the light.

From inside the light, Momo could see the silhouette of a piece of paper, watching it form into place, then rolling up and tied with a red bow. Momo grasped it tight and pulled it out of the light, the light seemingly shattering when the scroll was separated.

("This is it, this is Izuku incantation.") Momo thought, but she couldn't dwell on that thought for long, as dozens of chains were now closing in on her, and she needed to give this to Izuku.

("IZUKU, CATCH!!!") Momo yelled, throwing the scroll as hard as she could, just before the chains wrapped themselves all around her, leaving no room for complaint.

Izuku briefly heard Momo shout at him, and when he opened his eyes, he saw Momo wrapped in chains, and Izuku got concerned.

("Momo!") Izuku cried out, pulling against the power of his own chain, and tried to reach for Momo, but Momo yelled at him to look up.

("Look up, why do I need to…") Izuku was puzzled by Momo's orders, but he realised the reason, the scroll, the scroll that hid the key to unlocking his powers of Creation.

Seeing it fly towards him, he reached out an arm to catch it, all the while Momo was being pulled back through the hole she created. Izuku could watch this, almost forgetting about the scroll briefly, but when Momo yelled to him to focus on what is important, Izuku's attention switched back and with the elegance of a black pantha, caught the scroll in his hands.

("Yes!") Momo cheered, then was pulled back to her side behind the barrier.

Izuku hoped Momo was safe, but after Momo passed through the barrier and the barrier healed, the chain around his neck disintegrated into white sparkles, freeing his neck. He cracked his neck, feeling more free than he ever did, he focused on the scroll in his hands.

Ripping off the red bow, Izuku opened up the scroll, and he was blinded by a flash of light, but once the light died down, he watched a smaller light elegantly write down the very words he needed to unlock his powers.

On Momo's side, she was pulled all the way to the source of her power, and once she was dragged to it, the chains released her, allowing her freedom once more.

Rubbing her chin from the hard landing, she looked into the darkness to see a white light from Izuku, and she had a smile on her face, happy to see the light of hope once more coming from Izuku.

Unfortunately for her, the multiple uses of her Hakai drained her of her energy, and in the real world, Momo broke out of her stupor, seeing the dozens of attendants and her parents staring at her with both worry and gear.

"Momo, are you alright?" Kotto asked, inching closer to her daughter.

"Yeah mummy, I am good. Great actually." Momo said, a crooked smile falling on her face, but then passed out from exhaustion.

With Izuku, he gained consciousness again, and he looked at his parents, his mother who could flood half the parking lot with her tears, and his father trying his best to calm her down.

"Mum." Izuku spoke, stopping Inko's crying, as she looked down to see her baby was finally responsive.

"Izuku… IZUKU!!!" Inko yelled with joy, retching Izuku from her feet and bear hugged him harder than she ever had.

"Oh Izuku, we thought you died! I was so worried! Please, don't do that ever again!" Inko yelled at her son, not with anger but with worry.

"Sorry mum, I didn't mean to worry you. I was preoccupied with something." Izuku said, which confused both parents.

"Occupied with what? What was going on in that head of yours?" Hisashi asked, but Izuku didn't say anything, but instead his son looked around himself and gained a shocked face.

"All-Might! I forgot All-Might!" Izuku shouted, looking at both his parents.

Inko felt guilty, since she was the one to make her child drop his toy. Hisashi said she wasn't to blame and he'll grab it with Izuku.

"You can relax in the car and wait for us. Once we get home, I'll take care of all the work." Hisashi offered, and Inko smiled, thanking her husband for his offered help.

Izuku and Hisashi make their way back to the doctor's office, opening the door just as the doctor was holding Izuku's figure. Hisashi could tell he was surprised and most likely put on a professional act when they entered.

"Aahahaa, Mr Midoriya, I assume you are here to collect this, correct?" The Doctor asked, and Hisashi nodded, apologising for their interruption.

"Please, it is all fine. Just don't do this again, I know such action figures are quite expensive." The doctor said, and Hisashi felt his heart ping of pain, financial pain, since the figure was 28,000 yen.

Hisashi gave the figure to Izuku, who smiled to see his figure again, but he realised one of the hair locks All-Might had was broken off, but he couldn't find the missing piece.

"It's alright buddy. I can fix it when he gets home, alright." Hisashi said, bending down and ruffling his curly hair.

"It is alright, I can fix it." Izuku said, sitting down onto the ground placing the figure in front of him, and just to the left of him.

Hisashi tried to stop Izuku, since he was doing this in the doctor's office, but said doctor told him to wait, as he was interested in the boy's strange behaviour.

Zoning out his father and doctor, Izuku looked back into his to read his scroll, reading the words to memorise them to finally gain his powers. He had many theories of how it would work, and this was the moment to see the true extent of his powers.

"Where darkness is tied, light will come and force it to retreat and hide." Izuku spoke, a sudden gentle breeze making its way into the room, even though the windows and door were closed.

"When Destruction takes life, Creation shall help and bring hope to new life." Soon the wind began to pick, knocking down small objects and ruffling Hisashi's and Izuku's hair.

Then small balls of light appeared around the room, shocking both adults.

"Give me the power to create and spread the right of choice, so I can bring those who are suffering a voice." Then the balls of light grew in numbers, then moved in a circular pattern around Izuku as the center.

Hisashi was awestruck by what he was doing, happy his son had a quirk, and a beautiful one at that.

"GRANT ME THE POWER OF TRUE CREATION!!!" Izuku yelled with all his heart, as the balls spun faster and faster, the gust of wind now feeling like a full cyclon, as all the windows and doors flung open, the wind flooding into the corridors and other rooms, causing a racket in the hospital.

As the balls wired around the room, Ozuku opened his eyes, his green eyes now a golden white, his pupils being pure angelic white.

"SŌZŌ!!!" With one word, everything freezes, the zooming balls of light still as stone and the wind disappearing.

Then, as gentle as a summer breeze, the balls of light floated in front of Izuku, merging together to create a single ball of light, which itself began to change form.

The doctor watched with a curious breath as the ball of light morphed into a very familiar figure, a figure of great power and status. One of the colours of America and Japan's number one most attractive blonde.

When the ball of light finally morphed into what Izuku desires, the light disappeared, and in place of where the light was, stood an identical replica of Izuku's All-Might figure, with the missing hair no longer missing.

Izuku smiled, feeling a wave of overwhelming joy and happiness when he saw his new All-Might figure, with fixed hair too.

"Incredible. Your son was able to create a complete replica of his toy from thin air. Such potential." The doctor said, feeling his dried soul regain the passion he had from his youth, seeing the potential application he could use Izuku's power for.

"Mind if I take this young man, I would like to do some tests on this." The doctor asked, grabbing Izuku's created figure before Izuku could say anything.

"What kind of tests?" Hisashi asked, and the doctor said he shouldn't worry about it, but told the man he should keep his son in check, as if Izuku is able to truly create matter from nothing, then his quirk can be very powerful, and very dangerous.

Hisashi understood the doctor's warnings, telling Izuku they should leave and tell his mum the good news, which made Izuku smile even more.

When they left, the doctor smiled, but his smile was filled with malice and deception, happy to do all kinds of tests and experiments on this stupid doll.

When Hisashi and Izuku arrived at the car, Hisashi told Inko the good news, but she couldn't believe what she was hearing, since when it comes to quirks, there is always a price to use outside of energy consumption, especially with quirks around creating stuff.

"Mum, watch." Izuku said, and from the back seat of the car, Izuku held his hand out and spoke the words from before, "Sōzō." And from thin air, another identical All-Might action figure popped in Inko's lap.

"Oh my goodness! Izuku dear, you did this?!" Inko asked, and her son nodded, showing his old figure to allow Inko to examine the details of each one, and she saw they were identical; besides the hair.

"Oh Izuku, baby. I am so happy! You finally have your quirk! I'm so proud of you baby!" Inko cried, and Hisashi had to open the door to prevent Inko's tears from flooding the car.

When Inko finally stopped crying and sat back in her seat, Izuku held both his figures and looked up to the sun roof of the car and watched the clouds above. They remind him of the clouds from the heaven like world he and Momo were in before being revived. He hoped Momo was okay, he could feel the amount of times she used her power, and he knew she would be fully out of energy, especially when she was also resisting against those chains.

("Momo, please, don't force yourself like that again. You don't need to do that for me, but I am happy you care.") Izuku thought, drifting off to sleep from his own overuse of his power.

Izuku opened his eyes, expecting the same black void from before, but instead, he was met with a familiar sight, a sight he wasn't expecting to see until his next death.

Pink fluffy clouds in the sky, yellow clouds that stretched past the horizon, and scattered green hills, each with cherry blossom trees.

("No, no not here. Why am I here?!") Izuku began to panic, looking around to see if the angel would come and tell him he was just having a nightmare, but instead of the angel, he had an angel calm his mind.

("Izuku, it's alright, we're not dead.") Izuku turned on the spot the fastest he ever did, and he saw Momo, only feet away from him.

("Momo? What's happening, why are we here?") Izuku asked and Momo told him to calm down and relax, since he was hyperventilating.

Izuku, noticing his rapid breathing, slowed his breathing, calming his mind and looking at Momo, asking the same question.

("Where are we?") He asked, and Momo told him to sit down, since it was best to be comfortable with her semi-long explanation.

After she had passed out, she was brought back to her mind, as she was solely on her purple orb, watching blissfully at the white light in the distance. Then she focused on the string, and it was almost snapped, any second later it would break, and whatever happens after that, she wouldn't know.

Then, she saw the light from Izuku's half glow Brighter, as small balls of lights joined with the original. She stood to watch the show, as from her point of view, the endless void turned into a starry night sky with a brilliantly shining moon.

Then, "SŌZŌ!!!" The loud cry of Izuku echoed through the lightened void, and the light began to become more and more tense, and it soon spread to the string itself.

The white light burst through the string, and once it met with the purple glow of Momo's half, the string that was moments from breaking was now reforming back to what it was before, and it continues to grow in strength.

From Momo's point of view, she was blinded by the light to see anything, but when the light dies down, she saw she was now standing on a grassy hill, and from every direction, she saw many other hill rise up from a floor of yellow clouds, some growing trees of pink petals and peaches.

Izuku asked what happened to the string, since that was the connection between the two of them, and Momo smiled, walking up to the tree and placing her hand onto it. When she did, parts of the tree's winding bark began to glow purple, and Izuku's eyes widened in realisation.

He followed Momo's action, and when he laid his hand onto the bark, the remaining parts that did not glow purple, were now glowing a pearl white.

("This tree is the heart. But of what?") Izuku questioned, and Momo had as much of an idea of what it was as he did.

Neither of them knew why their powers were linked, by maybe after some thinking, they would learn what purpose the tree had.

("Momo, I want to apologise…") Izuku said, walking up to Momo, but was stopped by the same barrier from before.

("Seriously?! Oh come on! Why have us here if we can't interact with each other?! HAH!!") Momo yelled in frustration, landing a hard punch to the barrier, but only for it to ripple like water.

("Momo-chan, c…calm down. It I…is okay. We can still talk, right.") Izuku tried to calm down Momo, and he was able to lower his friend's boiling pressure before it simmered over.

("Yeah, you're right. I just have been feeling a lot more emotional since having my powers. I began to become more angry, using violence to solve my problems. I'm beginning to act like Bakugou.") Momo told her friend, with Izuku laughing at the small jab at his childhood best friend.

("It's alright Momo-chan. If you are struggling with anything, you can talk to me.") Izuku said, placing his hand onto the barrier.

Momo smiled, following Izuku's behaviour and placing her own hand onto the barrier. It almost felt like she was holding Izuku's hand, and such an idea made her and Izuku blush. But because they were not satisfied, they decided to rest against each other's backs; with the barrier being the only thing separating them physically, while they waited to wake up.

("Izuku, will we ever meet each other again?") Momo asked, feeling alone even when she was able to speak with him.

("Of course we will. We just need to wait for the right time.") Izuku said, letting out a deep breath.

("When will that be?") Momo asked, and Izuku said he didn't know, but he knew one thing, once they reunite, nothing in this lifetime will ever separate them again.

[End Chapter]

I hoped you all enjoyed this chapter. I had so much fun writing this and expanding on the power system for Izuku and Momo. Now that Izuku has his power unlocked, they can both soon learn the limits of their power and learn what the future has planned for them.
