Littlefoot saw Cera walking along with a young handsome male newcomers three horn. They were heading toward the grassy fields where the rest of the three horns grazed. He watched them happily as he smiled at Ali. She smiled back at him watching Cera with her new friend. Cera looked happy. Eating there in the grassy field were Daddy Topps, and Cera's stepmother, Tria. They were munching peacefully with a teenaged Tricia next to them. Before Cera and Saurine even were close to them, Tricia ran up to Cera and Saurine.
"Cera! Cera! Did you see Lightfoot? He was necking Ali. Petrie was flying around crazy with another flyer. Spike has been taking was all over the Great Valley with his friends. Duckie has been seen with another bigmouth swimming along in a pond . Ruby has been rubbing her crest with another fast runner. Hyp getting clobber by a girl like him, Nod was holding and swinging his tail club with another tail club, and Mutt is making faces with a girl like him." Tricia chattered.
"Really! How nice! This is my new friend, Saurine. He is new around her . This is my little sister, Tricia and let me introduce you to my parents."
Tria and Topps came up to the young three horns.
"So this is Saurine." Asked Daddy Three horn.
"Yes, she is Cera's friend." Tricia answered before Cera could.
"He is my friend." Cera snorted at Tricia.
"That's wonderful!" Tria said.
"I told you you meet someone like us." Daddy Three horn seemed proud and happy that his daughter had met other three horn to be with instead of her usual non-three horn friends. Daddy Three horns was impressed by the sight of this young, strong health three horn. He was powerfully built. He had a massive, magnificent horns, which looked in top condition. His frill was brightly colored. He was so perfect build three horn for his daughter. The perfect companion, but can he fight? "They call me around here Mister Three horn, but you can call me Daddy Topps." Mister Three horn smiled. "I am Cera's father."
"Thank you, sir." Saurine answered.
"I am called Tria. I am Cera's stepmother. And this is our daughter, Tricia. She is Cera's half sister." Tria greeted. Tricia just laughed as she hid behind her mother.
"It is nice to meet you, Saurine" Mister Three horn replied.
"Yes, it is." Tria also replied. Tricia only giggled shyly.
"It is likewise, sir and madam." Saurine answered. "Cera was showing me around."
"How nice. You go ahead and show our young three horn visitor around, Cera and get better acquainted with our visitor." Mister Three hold his daughter, Cera.
"Of course, I love to." Cera smiled.
"Yes, I would like that, too." Saurine returned the smile. It didn't take long for Cera and Saurine to find a lovely place to be together alone in the Great Valley. It was an area in the Great Valley that was warm and humid. The area had tall and small trees with large tree stars at the top. These large tree starts sometimes resembled green feathers. Some trees had crawling tree feathers which grew in a circle with pointy seeds on top. Some trees looked like three horns with all those feathers growing around on top in a circle. There were a lot of flowers blooming all around this area of the Great Valley. The trees were filled with different colors and full of the sweetest with their own kind of tree sweets. Cera admired the beauty as she looked up.
"How wonderful!" Saurine exclaimed as he saw all around him. Cera leaned her head on Saurine as they walked around. As they walked around, they looked at each other. They went pass small tree growing feathery plants and moved among the scaling trees, which grew pointed seeds among their tree spikes. These trees grew tree spike prickles instead of tree stars. Cera and Saurine looked up at the Great full night circle with surrounded by sky stars. Cera and Saurine looked each other as they both gazed at the pale full night circle. Their moment of peace and romance wasn't going to last for very long because Saurine's herd had discovered the entrance of the Great Valley. Old Brunt, their leader was upset. He was going to teach that deserter a lesson.
Chomper had come face with his old enemy from his childhood, Red Claw, in a dust storm. It was so hard to see or breath in the dust storm, but why choice did Chomper have. He had to fight Red Claw before he could find Tiara. It wasn't suppose to happened this way, not mention easy. Nothing is easy, Chomper reminded himself. He has almost searched for Tiara around two night circles ago. He had been determined in his roaming to find her. He has hope she would notice that he had done it for her. Now, Red Claw was in the way. He had to deal with him, Red Claw, the biggest, meanest sharp tooth there ever was. Chomper knew he should run away from Red Claw. Everyone did even sharp teeth like him, but is he really have a choice in this sand storm in the middle of the nowhere.
In most sharp teeth battles, the battle challenge was initiated before the fight. Chomper barley avoided Red Claw's gapping jaws. Chomper quickly slashed Red Claw with his left claw extended. This only got Red Claw more upset. He would have charge again at Chomper if Chomper hadn't moved out of the way. Red Claw fell on the ground. It would been Chopper's chance to run away, but he couldn't. Chomper was no longer a little sharp tooth. He was a big sharp tooth. Sharp teeth have to fight. Sharp teeth have to be strong. It was how things were with Sharp teeth and how they are with Sharp teeth. Chomper had only some advantages. He was young, strong and fast, but not experienced. He never fought a real threat. He was also scared. He was fighting Red Claw. Chomper growled at Red Claw as he waited for the next attack, but decide to lunge instead. Red Claw kicked Chomper in chest. Chomper crashed down on the ground as the sand whirled around him.
"Get up, Chomper!" Chomper said to himself after Red Claw had kicked him in the chest. This was no time to be on the floor. He got up as so as he could in the swarming sand. He roamed flinging himself at Red Claw. Red Claw met Chomper halfway. Chomper and Red Claw clashed together jaws clutched in a bite to the death. Struggling to outdo each other as both rivals attempted to maul each other as the wind's fury increased its wrath by picking up moving sand from the desert. Soon, both Sharpteeth were engulfed in a violent whirlwind of blinding dirt. Their roars were muted by the wind's howling. The land covered completely hiding them form any view. The storm had over taken them flinging them apart. It had separated them by throwing them around about . Chomper landed on a pile of dirt some distances away. He still could hear Red Claws roaring in the distance storm. Chomper shook his head removing the sand from it as he watched the same storm disappearing in the distance. He turned his attention back to finding Tiara's scent. He wondered if he had lost her scent and hope he wouldn't met Red Claw again. Chomper sniffed the clean dust free air. Tiara's scent was still around. He lifted himself from the pile of dirt . Some of the dirt slide off while Chomper had to shake some off. Chomper lifted his head again to smell the air. "Yup, still chasing one- horns." He could taste them. He had strolled for three full night circles, he could stroll for three more just For Tiara.
The hot sun came as the dust storm moved in the distance that didn't bother Chomper who was looking for Tiara , but it did bother Red Claw. The massive ancient enemy had not been blow far way to his doom nor had he been blow far from Chomper. Angrily, he had been tossed aside, Red Claw was now determined to show Chomper who was the main small arms sharp tooth in the Mysterious Beyond. Red Claw threw his head around while he lifted himself out from a large sand pile. He growled frustrated determined to resume his fight with Chomper. All evening, and the next, Chomper trailed Tiaras's scent until it was no more. "Where could it have gone to ? Where could she have gone to?" Chomper thought. She couldn't have vanished unless the one horned herd had gone into some water. Water, that's it. There must be water around here. Where was it? Chomper leaned his back to smell the air. His nostrils snorted as he tried to pick up the water scent, but instead he picked up another scent. A horrible terrifying scent, Red Claw again! Why ? I have to find that water, but I don't want to look like I am afraid of him. I am a Sharptooth. I am not afraid of him. I am looking of Tiara mate. Doesn't he know That? Maybe he wants her for himself? I will show him!" Chomper thought. Chomper decided to lead Red Claw into a trap near the water. Chomper first had to find Tiara as well as the eater source. If it is a river, it would have to have a waterfall or rocks. The river could be great so Red Claw could be swept downstream if he fell or I pushed him off right in front of Tiara . He was sure Red Claw would follow him to the river. All he had to do was find Tiara and to find a good spot to lay his trap.
