Inside the monitor room, Iron Man addressed the rest of the class. They spread out across the dark room and watch the video screens, each showing a different location in the building the Teams would use.

"Alright guys, keep thinking together," he said to his students before having his own thoughts. Peter, here you're just an ordinary student. I won't show any preferential treatment. He activated a radio, allowing him to communicate with the headphones of the four participants individually, in case he needed to give instructions.

Entering the building through an open window, Peter climbed the outside wall with Wanda on his back. Her Quirk wasn't strong enough to lift her to the required height, and she was light enough to be carried easily. Still, Peter was slightly nervous, feeling the girl's curves on his back. But now wasn't time to think about it, he needed to focus

"Successful infiltration," said Wanda softly, as she descended Peter's back and watched the corner of corridors they had encountered.

"There's a lot of blind spots, stay sharp," Peter replied.

He chose one of the corridors and entered, being quickly followed by Wanda. The two walked for a bit in the dark and silent corridor, watching for any movement or noise. Wanda used a little of her Quirk, creating a red sphere to serve as extra light, since the floor they didn't have many windows. She kept watch while Peter worked on coming up with a strategy.

"So what else can you tell me about Flash's Quirk?" Whispered Wanda.

"Well, it's very physical and ideal for melee fighting," Peter noted. "It can stretch a bit and it seems connected to his emotions somehow, at least it reacts pretty strongly whenever he gets mad. I can try to work with that... But what about Azari? Know anything about his Quirk?"

"I heard it's something related to electricity during the Entrance Exam," Wanda began. "But I didn't see how he controls-"

Peter suddenly felt his Spider Sense go off and he saw Flash jumping off one of the corner corridors, his arm extended and targeting his opponents.

"Get down!" He exclaimed.

Using his superior agility, Peter threw himself in the direction of Wanda, causing them to leap away from the impact point of Flash's fist. It made a big hole in the wall, right where they were standing only seconds ago.

"Wanda, are you okay?" Peter asked his partner as he quickly got up off the floor.

"I'm fine, thanks for the heads up," she replied, also standing up and facing their opponent.

"Come on, Wall-Crawler," Flash said, pulling himself together and standing up. "Thought you were here to fight, not dodge!"

"Figures you'd come after me first," said Peter, trying his best to sound unfazed.

"A surprise attack right off the bat?" Asked one of the students in the monitor room.

"Certainly not the most noble action," noted Danny.

He was wearing a dark green bodysuit that went from the feet to the neck. It left his fists uncovered, with a moss green leather chest embroidered with a kind of a black dragon. His suit also had a yellow ribbon belt, shoes and a mask of the same color, which at the moment was raised and only covered his forehead.

"A surprise attack is a valid strategy," said Iron Man, computing the actions of his students. "Mr. Thompson's personifying a villain really well in this battle."

"And apparently, he doesn't have to work hard to play the role..." remarked Gwen, also without her mask.

"At least Peter dodged!" Another girl said excitedly. Her costume consisted of a red T-shirt with the sleeves rolled up to her elbows. On top was a kind of blue zipper skirt with a large, stylized yellow lightning emblem. To complement it, she wore a red scarf, blue boots, a domino mask that surrounded her blue eyes and a gold bracelet on her left wrist.

"There goes Flash again!" Alerted Pietro, watching the screens with the fight. He wore a tight white and blue running outfit, and looked very worried about his sister, as she and Peter narrowly avoided another attack.

"Don't worry, Parker, I'm not gonna kill ya! But I'll get you close!!" The boy yelled with his right arm flexed, ready to give another blow, his black fist gets a bit larger as the Quirk He charged at the pair, was preparing for the punch...

"How considerate!" Peter quipped sarcastically. Anticipating his opponent's move, Peter dodged at the right moment, stepping out of his trajectory and grabbing Flash's fist with his left hand.

He grabbed the collar of his attacker's suit with his other hand and uses the momentum of Flash's movement to judo throw him over his shoulder. He landed hard on his back, making him lose air on impact. But even so, Flash got up after a moment, both astonished and beginning to get angry.

"You always did start a fight with your right hand," Peter noted, getting into a fighting position. "What'd you think I was doing whenever you picked on me? I learned your strategies! You kept calling me 'Wall-Crawler' because you thought it was funny how I tried to reach the top without a Quirk. You laughed at how I tried to become a hero."

If Flash was already irritated, that speech only made him more so. Peter didn't stop, "But a friend told me that Wall-Crawler is like a spider; small and insignificant to many, but capable of reaching great heights and doing amazing things! I'm not your punching bag anymore, Flash! I'm the amazing type of Wall-Crawler!!!"

At that moment, Flash's temper began to rise, his Quirk pulsed frantically, copying the owner's emotions. The goo climbed up his neck and almost covered his eyes as it spread over his face. He glared furiously at his opponent. No doubt about it, Peter had his undivided attention.

"Wanda, go and find the weapon," he said, turning to his partner.

"But what about you?" She asked worriedly, a little afraid of what Flash could do.

"This was always the plan! I got him pissed, so I'll keep him busy," he replied. She nodded in affirmation and ran away from the duo, who were preparing for the fight of their lives.

"Thompson, tell me your position! What happened?" The boy heard his teammate question him over the earpiece, but he had more important things to do than answer Azari.

"Don't bother me, just keep up a defense!" He answered, turning it off.

"Who's Flash talking to?" Asked a boy from the group, one of those who had been loudly impressed at the entrance of Iron Man in the class that morning.

He was tall, muscular, light skinned, with Asian features and black hair gelled up in a kind of tuft. He wore nothing but gray shorts with purple and yellow details and an electronic bracelet on his left wrist. he was shirtless and barefoot.

"You can't tell by watching cameras without the sound," he went on.

"He's communicating with his partner through the wireless transmitter he received," the teacher replied.

"The time limit's only 15 minutes," said the brunette girl in the colorful costume, noting that the marker was now at 13 minutes. "And the Heroes don't know where the weapon is, right?"

"Bingo!" Answered the pro hero.

"So the Heroes are at a big disadvantage," she noted.

"And that's how it is in real life," replied Iron Man. "Superheroes have to turn the tables under any situation. Besides, didn't Professor Murdock teach you something? That motto there! Come on, everyone with me, one, two, three and...!

"Excelsior!!!" The students yelled, some obviously more excited than others.

"Whoa, hey teach! You'd better take a look at Flash!" The boy in the helmet commented while watching the screen.

Flash made black tentacles extending from his back and propelled himself forward, flying like a missile towards Peter. He tried to deliver a powerful kick with his left leg, but the boy's Spider Sense was faster. With Wanda out of reach, Peter could focus 100% on Flash. Luckily he reacted in time and stopped Flash's shot with his right arm and reinforced with his left.

"Think you're so smart, don't you Parker!?" Flash bounced off to find new footing, but notices the boy quickly firing a web at Flash's leg near the wall, restricting his movement.

"I was always smarter than you, Flash!" Peter taunts, "Don't you remember our grades? You we're just too dumb to notice!"

Flash grit his teeth angrily and geared up to strike again.

Peter considered his strategy, Ok, now what? Being Flash, he'll get impatient and... use his right again! The boy threw himself to his right, accurately predicting his opponent's move and narrowly escaping another devastating punch. It opened another hole in the building's wall, leaving the attacker even more agitated.

He kicked first this time in an attempt to keep me from predicting the movements. He's getting cautious, Peter thinks as he watched Flash get to his feet after the brutal punch. His Quirk absorbed the webs, which were too liquid at that point and hadn't fully pinned his foot to the wall.

The boy saw Flash preparing for another onslaught with his tendrils, but Peter was faster. He shot a web at Flash's face, blinding him for a moment. It gave him the necessary time to jump onto the wall and climb out of there. The angry Flash quickly got rid of the sticky substance, but by then, Peter was already out of sight.

"Parker!! You can run, but you can't hide forever!" Shouted Flash as he entered the nearest corridor. But seeing that his rival was no longer there, he grunted and keeps searching other corridors for him.

Tired of climbing and running, Peter crouched down. He leaned against one of the walls to catch his breath and get his bearings. His wrists were bleeding slightly, but not to the point where they'd make him pass out. Peter had to think of a strategy, coming to the conclusion that he'd have to help Wanda against Azari without Flash interfering.

Since the two boys were certainly powerful, it led to an inevitable result: he'd have to beat Flash or help Wanda from a distance, both of which seemed impossible. But he'd have to act soon; if his internal clock was correct, nearly ten minutes of the fifteen minutes were up. They needed to act fast.

Just then, he heard Wanda calling him over the radio. "—Peter do you copy?"

"Wanda!? Yes, I hear you! Are you alright?" The boy asked, not noticing how worried she sounded.

"—I'm fine. I found Azari and the weapon, on the east side of the fourth floor."

"That's just above me..." Peter responded, remembering the building plan and the paths he had taken. "I might have an idea, But I'll need some-"

"—Agh!"

"Wanda!?" Peter asked worriedly. "Wanda!?"

The girl heard her partner's voice of concern on her radio, probably because she was hit by an electrical current from Azari who'd just discovered her. But even so she stands up, it was not enough to make her quit.

"You are quite powerful, Maximoff," said Azari, putting himself in a fighting position. Wanda could see some details in the boy when he activated his powers.

His suit was part of the breastplate with a light blue glow, as was his head. His shoulders also contained tribal tattoos and his belt stood out from the black suit.

"But I removed all the objects before your arrival," he said confidently. "There's nothing for you to levitate and throw at me."

Azari T'Challa, Quirk: Electric Panther. Along with the increased physical capabilities of his bloodline, he's able to absorb and release an electrical charge from his body.

"Thankfully, I've been working on a something new," the auburn haired witch says, concentrating the red energy in her hands. She formed spheres of energy, her eyes shining the same color.

Then in a quick movement, she launched the two bursts of energy in Azari's direction, which hit the boy in his chest, driving him back.

Wanda Maximoff, Quirk: Hex. This grants the ability to briefly warp reality by using the energy flowing through her body and expelling it outward.

She tried to run toward the weapon. If she managed to touch it, they would win... But Azari managed to quickly recover, and he pulled off his belt that turned into a staff and covered with electricity. He gave a side blow to the opponent.

Wanda tried to create a shield to defend herself, but she wasn't very advanced in this ability and took the blow. The impact also delivered an electrical charge, knocking her into one of the columns and further away from the weapon.

"Do not assume you are the only one with tricks!" Said the boy, now facing his opponent more seriously. He spins his staff and puts himself in a fighting position, ready for more.

"Good! I think it'd be embarrassing if I were the only one!" She replied, getting up and once more covering her fists with the red energy.

Peter tried to hear more than what happened with Wanda, but a warning from his Spider Sense took him out of his focus. He saw Flash approaching with heavy strides; he wore an expression of mockery and a dark smile, as if he found grace in something he was going to do.

"I hope you're ready for the beating of your life Wall-Crawler..." He brought himself upright and compartments of his shoulders became revealed.

"I'm not afraid of you, Flash!" The boy put himself in a combat position, raising his fists.

"You know, at the end of the day, I don't know if the guy making the costumes is a genius or an idiot," said Flash, not caring about his rival's words. "But I know I got what I asked for: guided missiles!!"

From the compartments of his shoulders appear the tips of six black missiles, three on each shoulder. Ignoring the orders from Iron Man he received on the radio, he fired two of the missiles.

During the trajectory of the projectiles, they changed direction so as not to directly hit Peter. Most likely due to the fact that if they were controlled in some way by Flash and Peter was hit, the boy would definitely be expelled.

The missiles overturned and crashed into each other, causing an explosion with double strength. Peter tried to hold on, but the explosion was too strong and he was thrown back to the end of the corridor while the whole building was shaking from the explosion.

Standing up with a little more difficulty, Peter watched Flash approaching calmly, more than likely because he wanted to end his rival with his own hands. Peter's costume was torn from the blast, but the mask was still intact, as he'd blocked his face with his arms.

The boy then felt to a lesser extent the sensation of the Spider Sense being fired constantly, but nothing was coming his way. Otherwise, he would have already been hit. Then he realized: he must be sensing the Quirk uses of Azari and Wanda. The explosion must have increased his sensitivity and now he was right under the confrontation of the other participants.

This was his chance to help Wanda, but how? However, before he can do or think about anything, he saw Flash's black fist coming towards him. Firing a web instinctively at the wall to his left, he managed to deflect in time.

But now, Flash seemed more agitated than ever. He quickly recovers and rushed for another onslaught, but this time Peter was ready. He stuck to the wall with his hands and flexed his legs so that he could kick with both feet at Flash's torso, pushing him away. He needed to think of something, and fast.

"Now, are you really gonna fight, Parker?" Flash said positioning himself to run.

"What the hell do you think I've been doing!?" Peter quipped, repositioning himself, "Having a snack?"

Both combatants ran towards each other, fists ready to make an attack. But when Flash got close, the black tentacles on his back let him jump over Peter. With the boy's vulnerable back open, he extended an arm, the goo covered his fingertips with sharp claws. He attacked the boy from behind, tearing his costume and leaving claw-shaped marks.

Peter yelled out in pain, falling to the ground in agony. The warmth of the blood slowly trickled down his back and the coldness of the air entered his wounds. But either way he got up and gathered his courage. He whispered something into his earpiece, "Wanda, get ready!"

Finally, Peter glanced at his opponent, saying one last thing to unravel him: "Was that the best you've got?" He gave a weak, but smug smile.

Blinded by anger, Flash activated the missile compartments again, firing two more while running towards Peter. And straight into his trap.

Without Flash noticing, Peter shot some webs into a concrete block, small enough to be launched, but big enough for his purpose. He stood up with the block behind him, and when Flash launched his missiles, he enacted his plan.

This is the real difference between you and me, Flash, Peter thought, springing into action. You may have been stronger, but I've always been smarter.

Guiding himself through his Spider Sense, he reached the right distance and fired a web at one of the missiles, trapping him at his command, preventing him from hitting and exploding the other, which deviated too much and opened a hole in the opposite wall.

Peter rotated his body and jumped, keeping himself in a horizontal position. A missile was stuck in the web on his right arm and the web with the block in his left. He launched the missile at the ceiling and followed up with the block.

Peter could only hope that his partner will take care of the rest, because due to the direct approach with Flash, he was left completely vulnerable. And a huge punch to the stomach threw him back towards the wall, the double impact being enough to knock the boy out.

Upstairs, Wanda was breathing hard while her opponent didn't seem too affected. And worse, she was far from getting close to the weapon. Azari had probably trained hard with professional instructors while she moved toys from side to side and practiced with Pietro. The hope of victory was rapidly decreasing; until she heard a very low and weak voice on her radio transmitter;

"—Wanda, get ready!"

Peter didn't say anything else, so she waited patiently for what was going to happen. Fortunately, it was easier for her in that situation: if time ran out, Azari won. So he wasn't exaggerating in his attempts to defeat her for good, he was being cautious and intelligent while storing energy. But that would be his undoing.

Suddenly, when no one expected it, the ground shook and a huge crater formed between the two heroes in training, similar to another recent explosion. Azari and Wanda fall backwards, but Wanda paid attention to what came next. A concrete block flew through the hole and she sees the opportunity.

Using her Quirk, she stopped the block in mid-air and launched it towards Azari. He was still standing after the explosion, but he wasn't prepared for the block. It flew directly into the boy's abdomen, knocking him back to the ground. It was enough for the girl to use her last energies to propel herself upwards. Passing over the hole, she fell directly on top of the weapon, capturing it.

"Weapon apprehended!" She screamed out, with only seconds to spare.

"Outstanding finish!!" Called Iron Man over the speakers. "The Hero Team... WINS!!!!"
