He stood up and helped her up. She looked up at him as he pulled her close to him and he pressed a kiss to her forehead. Mr. Xue was checking on things in the kitchen when he saw Jacob and Ziwu in the garden. He was very relieved that the princess had possibly found a potential boyfriend. He smiled to himself as he watched them share a hug as they looked up at the moon.

A few days later, Jacob and Ziwu went to the airport to pick up her big brother. When they arrived at the airport in Seattle, The driver parked the car and walked around to the back door. He opened the door, and Jacob stepped out in black jeans and a silver-gray v-neck shirt. He opened an umbrella over his head as he reached for Ziwu. She put her hand in his and stepped out wearing a pink Quipo dress with silver lining and silver peep toe pumps. Her long hair was put up into a high ponytail, and she wore a diamonette clip on the side of her hair.

"Here is your purse miss." The driver said, holding out a silver rhinestone clutch.

"Thank you." She said, taking her purse from him.

She and Jacob went to the airport to meet her brother.

"Which flight is your brother on?" Jacob asked.

"Hong Kong." Ziwu said.

Jacob checked the schedules on the big monitors and spotted the arrival of the Hong Kong flight. They headed for the terminal together, hand in hand. As they headed to the terminal, they kept getting weird looks from some people. When they got to the terminal, they sat in the waiting area for her brother.

"So, what kind of business did your father run?" Jacob asked.

"A trading and construction company," Ziwu said. "The trading company trades all over the world." She said.

"How long is your brother normally gone when he goes on a business trip?" Jacob asked.

"It depends on where he is going," Ziwu said.

As they were waiting, a couple of girls walked past, snickering a bit. He grasped her hand and let her lay her head on his shoulder. As she laid her head on his shoulder, an attendant walked by.

"Excuse me?" Jacob said to get the attendant's attention.

"Yes sir?" She asked.

"Can you tell me when the Hong Kong flight will arrive?" He asked.

"It just landed, sir. They should be opening the doors in a few minutes, " she said, checking her watch.

"Thank you." He said.

A couple of minutes later, the doors opened, and people started filing out. A young man in a gray suit came through the gates with a large white suitcase. He had long silver-blond hair pulled back into a ponytail and wore a silver wolf amulet around his neck. He took out his cell phone from his suit jacket and looked at it.

"Lanjue!" Ziwu said as she ran toward him.

He looked up from his phone to see Ziwu coming toward him. He put his phone in his pocket and opened his arms for Ziwu. He hugged her tight as he stroked her hair. He looked over his sister's shoulder and saw the guy with her. He recognized him from the pictures his sister sent him.

"You must be Jacob," Lanjue said. "My sister told me about you."

"Yes," Jacob said. "It's nice to meet you."

They all left the airport and went to the car. They all got in the back seat as the driver put Lanjue's things in the trunk. When they returned to the reservation, the driver parked the car in the garage. They went inside to see the servants decorating the house.

"What's with all the decorating?" Jacob asked.

"I had almost forgotten. Today is the mid-autumn festival." Lanjue said.

"I was thinking about having a party for it," Ziwu said. "We could invite the wolf pack and their families." She said.

"That's a great idea sis," Lanjue said. "Jacob? How fast can you notify everyone?"

"With the help of the other wolves, speed of light," Jacob said.

Lanjue called and had him make all the arrangements. Lanjue made a black velvet sack appear in his hand and gave it to Jacob. He looked in the sack to see invites for the party.

"What time does it start?" Jacob said.

"7:30," Lanjue said.

"Got it," Jacob said.

Jacob left the house and headed home fast. He got back to his house to see his dad talking with some of the elders in the kitchen. He told his dad what Lanjue and Ziwu had planned and showed them all the invites. He gave a small stack of the invites to the elders so they could have the wolves deliver them. Back at Ziwu's house, the servants were preparing for the party. Lanjue and Ziwu were in their respective rooms getting ready. Ziwu had gotten out of her bath and was drying off. Xiaojiu had set out her best pink hanfu for her to wear to the party. She went into her room and saw the dress on her bed. One of the maids helped her put on her hanfu as she stood in front of her mirror. Her hanfu had cherry blossoms sewn on the hem of the sleeves and on the skirt. The maid put a few blossom pins on the white sash tied around her waist and the sleeves before taking her over to her vanity. She started combing out Ziwu's hair and started putting some of it up. As she was fixing her hair, someone knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" Ziwu asked.

"Lanjue." He said.

He walked into her room in his white and silver hanfu. His hanfu had silver intricate stitchings on the sleeves and sash as well as on the hanfu itself. There was a top shoulder attachment on the outer layer that fastened around his neck. His long hair had the top half in a high ponytail with a silver hairpiece around the base of the ponytail. He was carrying a black velvet box.

"Brother." She said as the maid put in the last hairpin.

"You look beautiful Ziwu," Lanjue said.

"Thank you." She said.

Lanjue asked the maid to leave so he could talk to his sister for a couple of minutes. He walked over to her and put the box down.

"What's this?" Ziwu asked.

"Some things I had made for you while on my trip." He said opening the box.

Ziwu gapped at her brother's gift. He picked up a silver hair stick with a pink cherry blossom on it. Three strings of crystals hang from the flower. He also put a silver comb with a diamond orchid in her hair. He picked up a sterling silver necklace with a pink topaz diamond blossom around her neck. He held out a pair of dangling silver earrings and let her put them on.

"Are you doing okay?" Lanjue asked.

"I'm fine but I still miss them." She said.

"By the way, I have good news." He said.

Lanjue reached into the sleeve of his hanfu and pulled out a red folded paper.

"Your arranged marriage to that moron is over," Lanjue said.

"Really?" She asked. Lanjue nodded. "Thank you, Lanjue."

"Hey, He was a jerk to you from the gate. I was not going to let my sister marry anyone that foul." Lanjue said.

He used his magic and burned the marriage agreement. He watched his sister as she started putting on her makeup. At Jacob's house, he was finishing up his shower. He walked into his room to see a package on his bed with a letter attached. He picked up the letter to see it was from Lanjue. He opened the letter and read it. It said:

~Jacob,

Mr. Xue told me about how close you

and my sister have been getting and I

want to thank you from the bottom of my

heart for how well you have treated Ziwu.

Nothing thrilled me more than to hear that she

found a great man to be with. As my token of thanks,

I sent you this outfit for tonight's festival for you to wear.

We will see you tonight.

~Lanjue~

Jacob opened the box and pulled out a black and gray hanfu with fire dragons embroidered on it. He looked in the box to see a pair of black boots and a picture of how to put on the clothes. He put on the clothes and shoes and walked over to the full-sized mirror in his room. The hem of the outer coat had fire dragons sewn onto it as well as on the back and sleeves. He fixed his clothes when his father called him to leave and went out to the living room to leave. As he walked into the living room, his father was surprised by his clothes.

"Where did you get the clothes?" Billy asked.

"Lanjue sent them to me," Jacob said.

"Not bad. I like them." Billy said.

Jacob and his father went out to their truck to leave. Back at the mansion, Lanjue and Ziwu were walking around checking everything for when the guests started arriving. They went outside to walk in the garden for a while. Lanjue noticed that Ziwu was carrying a small black box with her.

"What is this?" Lanjue asked.

"It's an amulet I had made for Jacob," Ziwu said. "It's a protection for him and the tribe."

"What shape is the amulet?" He asked.

Ziwu held out her hand and an image of a dragon appeared in her hand.

"Nice choice," Lanjue said.

"DO you think he'll like it?"

"He'll love it," Lanjue said.

About an hour later guests were arriving for the festival. Lanjue and Ziwu were greeting them as they arrived. Ziwu walked over to a peach tree in the garden as she looked up at the moon. She sat down on the stone bench beside the Koi Pond. Jacob and his dad arrived a couple of minutes later and were greeted by lanjue.

"Hello Mr. Black," Lanjue said.

"Hello, Mr Li," Billy said.

"You can drop the formalities," Lanjue said. "You can just call me Jue or Brother Jue."

"Hello Mr. Jue," Jacob said in a teasing tone.

Lanjue and Billy laughed at Jacob's cheeky joke. Jacob started looking around for ZIwu.

"If you are looking for Ziwu, she is in the garden," Lanjue said.

"Thank you," Jacob said.

He went off to find Ziwu. He walked into the garden and started looking around for her. He walked toward one of the peach trees to see Ziwu standing by the peach tree with a light blue sash wrapped around her shoulders. He walked up behind her and placed his hands on her hips.

"Hello beautiful," Jacob whispered.

Ziwu smiled a little as she turned around and hugged him. He kissed her forehead before she rested her head on his shoulder.

"I'm glad you are here," Ziwu said.

"I'm glad I came," Jacob said. "You doing okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine," Ziwu said. "I have a gift for you but, I will give it to you later on," Ziwu said.

"Good," Jacob said.

He grasped her hand and they went to join the fun.
