Okay, I know I got this put up and then deleted it, but that was because I may have gotten to work on it WAY too soon after completing the second book in the series. Now that I've taken the appropriate amount of time away from the wrestling story stuff, I decided to bring this back from the recovery section.
So sorry to all of you. And I have decided to leave out the commentary. Not every WWE story requires it, so I'm not going to include it.
Answers to reviews:
raiderlife2003: I intend to do just that when I get to 2003, but that'll be in the fourth story.
Mike InstinctZ: Indeed.
Mrmarcusj95: Sorry dude. Besides, Trish is better.
Disclaimer: I do not own WWE. I only own the OC George Edwards/The Bladewolf.
SmackDown: 6/4/2000
SmackDown was live at the San Jose Arena in San Jose, California. The music of Rikishi kicked off SmackDown as the big man challenged Chris Benoit for the Intercontinental Championship. The new champion looked great against the larger Rikishi, defeating him via pinfall after a belly-to-belly suplex. After the match, Rikishi stuck his enormous rear end into Chris Benoit's face.
Shane and Vince McMahon then addressed the capacity crowd. Vince assured everybody in attendance that DX would be there, despite the rumors that they wouldn't be. Vince then called out referee Earl Hebner to clear up the controversy surrounding the final match Monday night on RAW. Earl claimed that The Rock told him to count to three when he was pinning Triple H. Vince threatened to knock Earl on his ass if he ever counted out Triple H in a non sanctioned match again. Vince then called out Lilian Garcia. He told the ring announcer that pretty faces are a dime a dozen, and threatened to fire her if she made a mistake in her announcements again. Vince then mentioned that J.R. made a similar mistake, however, J.R. never made his way to ringside. Then, in an attempt to right the wrong of Monday night, Vince stated that he would team up with his son later in the evening to battle The Rock.
After the commercial break, the fans in attendance got to see T&A, as Test and Albert teamed up to face the Dudley Boyz. Despite a great effort, T&A fell victim to the 3D and the Dudley Boys. After the match, Matt and Jeff Hardy attacked the Dudleys.
As this was going on... THE BLADEWOLF HOPPED THE BARRICADE AND SLIDES INTO THE RING! The crowd exclaimed in surprise at seeing him as Jeff Hardy and Test turned around... INTO A DOUBLE SPEAR FROM THE BLADEWOLF!
Bladewolf jumped to his feet with a primal roar, then turned to take a couple of punches from Matt Hardy who then ran, rebounds off the ropes and came back with a leap... BIT BLADEWOLF CAUGHT HIM IN HIS ARMS!
Bladewolf lifts Hardy up and brings him down into his knee, then lifts Hardy onto his shoulders and... HITS A FIREMAN'S CARRY CUTTER! Bladewolf got right back to his feet as the Dudley Boyz came at him but got a double clothesline for their troubles.
Trish Stratus arrived at ringside, cheering her man on.
Bladewolf watched the Dudleys stumble to their feet and they turned around into goozles, before they were lifted up and... PLANTED WITH A DOUBLE CHOKESLAM! Turning his attention to Albert, Bladewolf sized the big man up, watching as he stumbled to his feet and used the ropes for balance.
Albert turned around only for Bladewolf to lift him up onto his shoulder, getting a cheer from everyone as he walked around with the big man, then shifted him into the upside down position in front of him and... NAILS THE TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!
Getting to his feet, Bladewolf grabs a microphone as Trish gets into the ring. The fans cheer as they are about to hear the Bladewolf speak for the first time on WWF TV.
Bladewolf looks around at the crowd before staring up at the stage. "Triple H!" He started, earning a cheer from the fans. He waited until they died down before continuing. "Triple H, if you thought that things between us were over after you put me out of action, you were dead wrong. This isn't over until I say it's over. And tonight, it will be over, because I am challenging you to a match tonight!"
The crowd cheered again at this announcement and Bladewolf looked out at them, waiting for the cheering to die down, before staring at the stage and continuing. "Now make no mistake, I am not challenging you for the WWF Championship. This is no longer about the title, this is pure hatred between us. I don't care about the title, I just want to get my hands on you and hurt you. What I want, Triple H, is your blood. So tonight, I am challenging you to a First Blood match."
The crowd once again popped at his words as Bladewolf looks around at them, his lips twitching into a small smirk. Just then, Triple H's theme plays to heavy boos from the crowd as the WWF Champion walks out with his title around his waist and a mic in hand, accompanied by his wife Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, who is the WWF Women's Champion.
Triple H's theme died down as he practically glared down the ring at the Bladewolf who glared right back. "Bladewolf..." He began, but stopped as the crowd began chanting 'Asshole!' at him. He ignored them and continued. "Bladewolf, first off, welcome back. Secondly, in case you haven't noticed, you've been gone for six months and a lot of things have changed since you've been gone. You aren't the WWF Champion, I am. You don't run RAW and SmackDown, I do. And what you're asking of me tonight is not just a match with you, you're asking me to cripple you for life."
Bladewolf rolled his eyes and slowly walked around inside the ring.
"But you know what? Why not finish what I started and have you put on the shelf next to Stone Cold Steve Austin permanently?" Triple H asked rhetroically. "You want me in a First Blood match tonight? I accept." The crowd cheered at that as Bladewolf smirked a little. "But don't get too happy, because when this night is over... you're going to be back in a hospital and never coming back."
Triple H's theme played as he and the Bladewolf stared each other down with glares before Triple H took his leave with his wife.
Perry Saturn and Tazz were scheduled to battle next. However, the match never got under way. Saturn Pearl Harbored Tazz and the match was ruled a no-contest.
Al Snow and Steve Blackman battled the team of Bull Buchanan and Big Boss Man. Boss Man and Bull got the victory when Bull hit Al Snow with a leg drop from the top rope.
In front of the capacity crowd, Eddy Guerrero then asked Chyna why she sided with him on RAW. Chyna answered that she couldn't resist his Latino heat. Chyna then mentioned that Chris Jericho was always jealous of her. Y2J was quick to interrupt Eddy and Chyna's promo. Jericho absolutely destroyed the new couple.
The Light Heavyweight Championship was on the line when Dean Malenko put up the belt against Taka. As expected, the action was fast and furious. On several occasions, Taka nearly upset the Champion. However, Dean was able to pull off the victory after applying a Texas Cloverleaf.
After the commercial break, Godfather and his ladies competed against Big Show. Show came to the ringside dressed as a pimp. The match ended when one of the Godfather's ladies aided Big Show on his way to the victory. After the match, Big Show and the lady that helped him kissed in the center of the ring.
Next up was the Bladewolf vs Triple H in the First Blood match.
OOOOOOOOWWWWHHHHOOOOOOO!
'Ooh, wah-ah-ah-ah! Get up, come on, get down with the sickness!'
Down with the Sickness by Disturbed played to a big pop from the crowd as the Bladewolf walked out, accompanied by Trish Stratus. Bladewolf stopped on the stage and looked around at the fans before rolling his shoulders, takes Trish's hand in his own, and makes his way towards the ring.
"the following contest is a First Blood match! Making his way to the ring, being accompanied by Trish Stratus, from Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs... THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced, earning a loud pop from the fans.
The Bladewolf and Trish make it to the end of the ramp and Bladewolf jumps onto the ring apron, holding the ropes open for Trish who took the steps. Bladewolf then enters through the ropes and paces around inside the ring, taking off his vest and tossing it out of the ring. His theme soon dies down as he continues to pace around, staring at the stage expectantly.
Triple H's theme soon hits to thunderous boos as the WWF Champion walks out with his wife. He glares straight at the Bladewolf who glares right back, then takes a sip of his water before storming forward with his wife beside him.
"And his opponent, being accompanied by Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, from Greenwich, Connecticut, weighing in at 260 lbs, he is the World Wrestling Federation Champion... TRIPLE H!" Tony Chimel announced then left the ring.
Triple H was halfway down the ramp when the Bladewolf, wanting to get this dtarted, slid out of the ring and ran up to meet him. The referee quickly called for the bell to begin the match.
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
The Game and the Demon Wolf slugged it out in a fist-for-fist exchange, neither man giving an edge. The only way to win this match was to make your opponent bleed. And no doubt, these two men hated each other so badly they would do more than make the other bleed.
Triple H rears back for a right but the Bladewolf ducks underneath it and the Champion turns into a big uppercut that sends him rolling down the ramp to the end of it. Bladewolf walks over as Triple H gets to his feet, stumbling back against the ring apron but Bladewolf runs up and drives his knee into Triple H's midsection, making the Game lurch forward with a groan. Grabbing Triple H, Bladewolf drives his right fist into his ribs repeatedly, before bringing his right forearm down across the back which sends Triple H onto the floor.
Bladewolf pulls Triple H back to his feet and tosses him into the ring. Triple H stumbles onto his hands and knees, trying to get away from the Bladewolf who quickly runs up and pulls him away from the ropes. Bladewolf pulls him back to his feet... AND TRIPLE H SLAPS HIM ACROSS THE FACE!
The crowd oohed in shock as Stephanie laughed while Trish just shook her head.
Bladewolf licks his lips and slowly turns his head to look back at Triple H, who backs up a little, a hand raised for mercy... BIT BLADEWOLF JUST SLAPS HIM RIGHT BACK! In shock from that blow, Triple H darted for him but he sidestepped him and threw him into the ropes. When Triple H came back, Bladewolf ducked underneath an attempted right punch from the Game, grabbed him from behind and sent him flying across the ring with a big-time release German Suplex.
Bladewolf flips his hair back, adjusting his elbow pads briefly while watching Triple H recover from the German Suplex. The WWF Champion made it to his feet, eyeing Bladewolf more warily as the men circled each other.
Both men tied up and Hunter got the wristlock but Bladewolf countered into a hammerlock then Hunter got in a full nelson but Bladewolf countered into one of his own but Triple H got free and took him to the ground with a headlock but Bladewolf again countered as he slipped out and locked his legs around the head of Hunter and quickly got free as both men just showing how technical the other was.
They stood up and faced each other again and then the fists just started to fly with one exchanging with the other. Both men showed no sign of letting up as Hunter's heavy lefts were getting over Bladewolf. He threw him into the ropes but as Bladewolf came off he ducked a clothesline attempt, grabbed Triple H from behind and sent him across the ring with another German Suplex. Triple H rolled out of the ring before anything else could happen, his wife running to his side.
Bladewolf eyed them before he ran, rebounds off the ropes, comes running back and... LEAPS OVER THE TOP ROPE FOR A SUICIDE DIVE RIGHT ONTO TRIPLE H!
'That was awesome! That was awesome! That was awesome!' The crowd chanted excitedly after seeing the suicide dive.
Bladewolf made it to his feet first, brushing his hair out of his face, then looked down at the WWF Champion as he took him up by his head but he was distracted by Stephanie shouting abuse at him, which took his eye off Hunter as he went to answer her back but he turned around and got decked with a huge clothesline from Triple H who had taken control of the match. He went down to him and just laid the fists to his head and he then took him up by the head and... DRIVES IT INTO THE STEEL RING POST!
The Bladewolf was down as Hunter was revelling in the change in momentum as he brought him up and then by his head he went to drive him into the steel post for a second time, but the Bladewolf stopped it and elbowed Triple H in the midsection repeatedly before he grabs the back of Triple H's head and... DRIVES HIM HEAD-FIRST INTO THE RING POST!
Both men backed away from each other, checking their foreheads for any sign of bleeding but there was none. Triple H quickly attacked Bladewolf from behind with a forearm to the back of the head, sending the Demon Wolf back down to the floor. Triple H pulled him up and tossed him back into the ring before sliding in after him.
He had him down on the mat as he laid the fists into the forehead of the Bladewolf and then went to the corner and from there hit a knee drop right to the head, Looking down upon him, Triple H brought him back up and threw him against the ropes and quick to react, Triple H landed the face buster which took the Bladewolf down.
Knowing he wasn't going to give up that easily Triple H was ready to deliver the killing blow and brought up the carcass of the Bladewolf and hooked his arms up and... HITS THE PEDIG-! NO! IT WAS COUNTERED INTO A BACKDROP!
Triple H got right back to his feet quickly and turned into a clothesline, then got right back up only to get another clothesline. Triple H stumbled to his feet and the Bladewolf unloaded with a fury of lefts and rights, backing Triple H into the corner. Bladewolf backs up and then runs, hitting a turnbuckle clothesline before he scoops Triple H up onto his shoulder and... DROPS HIM FACE-FIRST OFF ONTO THE TURNBUCKLE! Bladewolf runs, rebounds off the ropes and... FLOORS TRIPLE H WITH A BIG BOOT!
Now in control of the match, the Bladewolf walked over and grabbed Triple H before sending him flying with a German Suplex. Not done, Bladewolf walked over to grab him again and hits a second one. But he holds onto him as he hits another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another, then another. He releases him after the fifteenth German Suplex.
Bladewolf backed up, watching Triple H. He glanced towards Trish and subtly motioned for something, making her nod and go to grab something from underneath the ring. As Triple H made it back to his feet, he turned around... INTO A SPEAR!
Triple H clutched his midsection as Trish slid in an object, which turned out to be Bladewolf's baseball bat. Triple H stumbled to his feet while groaning in pain before he turned around just as Stephanie shouted for him to watch out... AND GOT SMACKED IN THE FOREHEAD BY THE BASEBALL BAT!
Triple H goes down onto his front before he slowly rolls over... AND IS SEEN BLEEDING! TRIPLE H HAS BEEN BUSTED OPEN!
'Ding! Ding! Ding!'
Down with the Sickness plays as Bladewolf glares down at Triple H who is slowly moving, dazed from the baseball bit hitting him in the forehead and the blood cascading down his face.
"Here is your winner... THE BLADEWOLF!" Tony Chimel announced.
His baseball bat in hand, Bladewolf took his leave from the ring and pulled Trish close to him while staring at the downed Triple H. He smirks a little before turning and making his way up the ramp with his girlfriend, going backstage.
And that's it for this chapter, people. I hope you enjoyed it.
