Tyrone previously thought he would have trouble in this fight. The obvious reason being he'd had one more fight than his opponent Amadeus, since for some reason, Wanda decided to give up her fight and guaranteeing a free seat for the Asian boy. But Tyrone didn't really expect Amadeus to have found it, and managed to take advantage of one of his weaknesses.

Returning to the arena, after traveling through Darkforce, Tyrone looked around, seeing nothing. He then looks up, seeing a greenish shape falling at high speed towards him. He quickly teleports again, narrowly escaping his opponent who created a crater upon impacting the ground.

The complication was this: Tyrone could more or less see his surroundings as he moved within the dark dimension, but he saw a static version of the place when he transported himself. He couldn't see movements or objects being moved, so if Amadeus left his field of vision when he returned, would have a chance to attack against him.

The boy tries to think; Amadeus only had limited movement when he was at the top, so he needed to go as far as possible to try to corner him.

Tyrone moved through the dark dimension, walking through the shadows and black smoke that simply existed there, and moves to a point farther away from the opponent. He was being increasingly consumed by the Darkforce, but he would make the effort worth it.

Amadeus returned to the ground, realizing that his opponent was far away. He could see him covered in black smoke, but at the same time he was sweaty and panting. The young Hulk took advantage of the situation. Pushing himself forward, he made a leap towards the opponent, but in the middle of his trajectory, he disappears again. Lowering his feet, Amadeus starts to brake so that he can jump again and escape Tyrone's senses. A pity that he didn't count on the other boy's plan.

Tyrone swiftly moved behind the opponent, and extends his shadows to reach him and does the same thing that he had done with everyone he had fought so far: make them see their fears and hopelessness by coming in contact with Darkforce energy.

It was not the noblest strategy, he knew that, and had gone to apologize to both Seol and Kamala after each match. He did not intend to hurt them, and luckily they understood. But this time something happened. Having passed a few seconds, Tyrone hoped that the vision would take Amadeus's concentration away and he would come out of the Hulk form. This would make it easier to get him out of the field.

But everyone is shocked when Amadeus gives a slight twist and hits Tyrone in the stomach with a punch. Taking the blow, Tyrone flew backwards, heading towards the outside of the field. Luckily, he manages to teleport before passing the barrier. He falls to the ground, winded, but at least he wasn't out.

Opening his eyes, Tyrone felt a shadow, and looked up to see his colleague rushing down towards him. He he longer seemed to want to win, he wanted to see him shattered. Tyrone's strategy had backfired.

Disappearing and appearing behind Amadeus, Tyrone tried to understand what was happening. "Amadeus! What's going on with you?" Tyrone asked, and the boy turns to him. Something was wrong; his eyes were glazed, his jaw was tight, he was gnashing his teeth, and the veins in his neck were jumping. Seeing his fears had not made him recoil in fear, they had made him angry.

"RAAAAAUUUGHHHH!!!" He charged again, only for Tyrone to teleport to the other side of the field. The green monster is left looking around wildly. "Enough! I'm stopping this match!!" Professor Colossus said, getting up from his place and about to jump into the arena. But he sees Tyrone raise his hand in his direction, the boy seemed to have some kind of plan. Piotr stopped for the moment, but stood right next to the demarcation line in case he needed to interrupt things. Professor Frost does the same on the opposite side

"Hey, Ugly!!!" Tyrone yelled at the berserk Amadeus. "Grrrrr..." the green giant stopped looking around and stared at him, ominously baring his teeth. "You want me?" He asked, "Come and get me!!"

"GRRRRRRR!!!" The young Hulk wastes no time and rushed at full speed towards Tyrone. With the emerald giant rapidly approaching, both teachers prepared for the worst, as Tyrone began to prepare for the trick up his sleeve.

In a few moments, his body begins to exude more and more black smoke, as if it came out of the boy himself. He takes a deep breath, with the smoke still coming out of him and stares at the monster that was charging towards him. It was now or never.

With the imminent impact, Amadeus launched himself in an attempt to grab the smoke boy. But as soon as he comes in contact with him, he passes right through him, as if he weren't there, and falls, rolling out of the demarcated arena. He turns angrily, throwing himself back at his opponent, who was kneeling and panting. However, he is caught mid-flight.

"Now you're mine!!" Colossus said, quickly grabbing Amadeus, squeezing his neck in a rear naked choke. Even in his Hulk form, the boy was still currently smaller than him. "Emma!!"

"Grrrrr!!!" Amadeus struggled and tried to free himself, until Emma Frost got close enough. Placing her hands on the boy's temples, she stared deep into his eyes. After a few seconds, the boy's expression softens and he passes out, returning to his normal human form.

Emma Frost. Quirk; Diamond Mind. She possesses the most powerful telepathic mind outside of the Xavier Institute. In addition, she can turn her entire body into impenetrable diamond for brief periods of time.

Tyrone was still breathing heavily and kneeling as the crowd around him cheered. The technique he'd been working on with Tandy for the past two weeks, was more tiring than he had anticipated. But then, putting himself between the two dimensions, being there while he wasn't there, was no easy task. The boy then looked up to see a picture of him and Reyes, side by side, on the big screen. This indicated the last match of the day, to determine the overall champion.

Sitting across from each other in the tunnel that led to the gym were Tandy and Tyrone. Having just finished fighting and being given a short time to rest, the boy decided it would be better to wait there after taking a little water from one of the drinking fountains. As usual, Tandy went to help him prepare for his next fight, which consisted of giving him one of her fragments of light so that the boy could literally eat it.

"..." Tyrone bit off a piece of the light fragment; it was something he was never going to get used to. He feels like he's biting something solid, but it soon falls apart and a feeling of fulfillment invades him. It was and always will be a weird moment.

"..." Tandy says nothing, just watching Tyrone. The two had been friends for so long they didn't necessarily need to talk to be comfortable. They just liked being together; nothing more, nothing less.

"You're letting your hair get long..." Tyrone said, finishing the light dagger. "It suits you." "Seriously? That's what you want to talk about now?" The girl asked in a fun way.

"..." The boy just shrugs, "What do you want to talk about? We have about ten minutes before the match." He looked out, where it was possible to partially see one of the big screens. There was an image of him and Reyes, side by side, signaling the coming fight.

"Can you believe how far we've come?" She asked, following his gaze. "At the Festival, at M.A, or in general?" Tyrone queried. "Both..." She said with a dreamy sigh. "Who knew? The little stutterer from Boston..."

"The Cleveland ballet dancer..." The boy continued, smiling as he remembers the words. "The master of darkness..." She said, looking him in the eyes. "The precursor of light ..." He also turned to face her.

"Together against the world!" They say in unison, laughing softly. No matter where they were or what they did, they were a team and they always would be.

Several Years Ago

Little Tyrone was sitting next to his mother in the recreation room of the doctor's office. After a few sessions with Dr. Simon, he'd called his house asking him and his mother to come to the office; he claimed to have found someone who could help Tyrone.

Over the years and the popularization of Quirks, what ended up happening was the complexification of those same powers. And as they manifest around the age of four, both the public and private sectors began to invest in products and services that could help people with more complicated Quirks.

Tyrone was certainly one such case. While some children gained new body parts, made things float or even glow in the dark, his power did something he didn't like. When smoke started to come out of his body, he thought it was just that; smoke. But he was mistaken.

As time went by, the more he used his powers, he became cold. Not a physical cold, but a spiritual cold, as if, for whatever reason, he was frightened. The situation only got worse when a teacher accidentally touched him while he was using his power. Moments later she fell back, completely terrified for no apparent reason.

After that, everything went downhill. No one wanted to be around him anymore, neither children or teachers, even his own family stayed away. Isolated and afraid of his power, a panic attack caused the five-year-old boy to freak out and suddenly appear in the neighbor's house, making contact with him and making him pass out. After that event, his mother knew that he needed help.

Dr. Simon Marshall was a pediatrician and specialist in 'Collective Quirks Therapy'. He was of the mindset that for every power, there was a counterpart. By coming together, would balanced each other in out in strength as well as life. And Dr. Simon claimed that he had found Tyrone's counterpart, which was why they were there.

"Mrs. Johnson?" The doctor asked, opening the door and addressing Tyrone's mother. He was accompanied by a man and a child, "This is Mr. Bowen, and this is his niece Tandy."

The little blonde girl looks out from behind her uncle's legs to say a silent 'hello' to the woman after she greets her uncle. Dr. Simon turned to Tyrone, "Hey buddy, can I introduce you to someone?"

Tyrone, after being encouraged by his mother, gets down from his chair and approached the doctor who was crouching so he can look him in the face, "Tyrone, this is Tandy."

"Hello..." she said shyly, holding out her hand. But Tyrone steps back slightly, which saddened Tandy. "No need to worry Ty..." The doctor said, "Tandy, why don't you show him what you can do?"

"..." The girl just nods and then reached out, a small sphere of energy appears. Not very visible, but it released light into the environment, as if it were a lamp without a physical body.

Tyrone, for some reason, was attracted to that light. It was if something inside him told him that he needed it, for whatever reason. He then unconsciously extends his hand, which quickly begins to release shadows. It looked as if he were releasing black dry ice from his hand, simply running between his fingers.

But the most interesting thing was that, when it was close to the light, the smoke instantly disappeared. And then, Tyrone puts his hand against Tandy's hand; the girl's soft, warm hand is a contrast to the boy's cooler hands. As soon as they touch each other, both the light and the shadows disappear, they simply disappear on contact with the hands. The boy looked at the girl and smiled, and she can't help smiling too.

Presently, Tyrone began to hear the screams of the audience and other announcements that indicated his fight soon would begin. "Well, I'll be going then," the girl said, getting up and helping the boy, extending her arm for him to pull and stand up. "Good luck!"

"Thanks..." he said, nodding. Soon Tandy left to go in the opposite direction, as Tyrone walked further into the tunnel. He looks out, taking a deep breath, thinking of his mother and brother; who were probably watching him out of Boston. With that bit of courage built up, he heads out for the final confrontation.
