Meeting The Queen

The castle of Brightmoon was seen as the beacon of the Princess Alliance. A castle meant to represent all the brightness of magic and the strength of the long line of queens and princesses that had protected Etheria for countless generations. The pink and purple colors of the castle allowed it to stand out tucked deep in the Whispering Woods. It was also the home of their Runestone, the Moonstone. An oval stone that was held up by a golden flower-like tower at the front of the castle. This was the castle that one would look at and think that going through the front door would be the highest of honors.

"So, why are we going in through the back door?" Catra asked.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the front door is the best place to enter if we want an audience with the queen," Izuku mentioned.

After the group had helped the village of Thaymor relocate to another place far from the battlefield, they made their way to Brightmoon.

Glimmer and Bow had guided Izuku and Catra to the back part of the castle and were staring at a window above a large gulch. Even after the group had seemingly come to a better understanding of each other, there were actions that made Izuku and Catra question their new friends' decisions. Like how Glimmer was avoiding the question that they were pressing.

"What? Nah, trust me this is the best entrance to the castle," Glimmer said, earning a raised eyebrow from Izuku and Catra and even Melog. "Right, Bow?"

"Um, you know it!" Bow tried, being as supportive as he could be. "Besides this way you won't be seen by any guards, or the generals or the queen."

"So, you're sneaking us in?" Izuku asked.

"I thought we were past the whole explanation bit of our relationship," Catra added.

"What? No, no no," Glimmer countered, only to see the unbelieving looks on both Izuku and Catra's faces. "Okay… Well, you see we didn't exactly go through the proper channels to go in search of the sword when we met you guys."

"She snuck out after her mom grounded her," Bow admitted, causing Glimmer to glare at him.

"BOW!" Glimmer growled.

Izuku and Catra looked at the princess with wide eyes, holding back a laugh. They looked at each other before they both burst out laughing.

"Wait, wait, wait!" Catra cackled, holding her stomach. "So, you're telling me that you are this badass army commander princess that can teleport all over Etheria and-and yet your mom can still ground you?!" She laughed.

"We're so sorry, it's just completely unheard of," Izuku pleaded, trying to stop his own laughter.

"Yes! My mom, the queen and leader of the Alliance, has that kind of authority. I was planning on using the found tech to prove I could handle myself and the responsibility but as you know things didn't turn out that way," Glimmer explained. "So please, keep quiet and get in my room." She snapped silently.

Glimmer teleported herself and Bow into her room, leaving the two friends outside.

"Wow, she didn't even offer us dinner," Catra joked.

"Catra, please, stop talking like that. She seems shy about stuff like that," Izuku said, before jumping towards the window as Glimmer was opening it.

Glimmer was once more face to face with Izuku's muscular chest and a big blush. She took a step back in shock at the appearance of her new friend and most muscular and good looking guy she had met.

"Oh, sorry Glimmer, didn't mean to startle you." Izuku apologized as he entered the room of the princess.

"It-it-it's nothing," Glimmer shrugged off as Catra entered the room as well.

"Wow, what's this?" Catra asked, looking at the whole room before being joined by Izuku.

Neither of them had ever seen so much pink and comfort in their lives. They saw the bed hanging from the ceiling while pictures of faraway lands, music and motivational mantras littered the walls along with war maps and pictures of herself with two other princesses and the regal queen of Brightmoon. There was even a freaking waterfall in that room.

"This is my room," Glimmer replied. "Haven't you ever seen a room?"

"Not like this one." Catra gestured to the room. "You could fit ten people in here."

"Maybe half of the guys in our old barracks," Izuku commented.

Izuku and Catra shared a look. They were both thinking about Adora and what had happened a few hours ago. The two friends wondered what had happened to her to turn her into the nearly cold-blooded Force Captain that Shadow Weaver always wanted.

"Look, we know you two are still in shock about seeing your friend," Bow said, trying to cheer up his new friends.

"But you need to stay here and wait for us to go talk to my mom and smooth things up for her to meet She-Ra, and um," Glimmer explained while trying to come up with a name for Izuku.

"Um, you guys are going to introduce us ourselves right?" Catra asked, gesturing to the sword tied to her back. "I'm not just a tall cat woman with instantly expanding boobs."

"We know, but as Netossa always says, 'always go with the best first,'" Glimmer said. "Look, just stay here while we talk to my mom and then we'll show her who you guys are. No problem."

Izuku and Catra looked at each other with unamused expressions.

"Or would you prefer I start with, 'Hey mom, look, I know I was grounded but I snuck out with Bow to find some ancient First One's tech but instead we found two former Horde soldiers, one of which can use some super powerful martial art that can rival our powers and the other one can turn into the legendary warrior She-Ra. Also, we fought the Horde and saved a whole village from their former friend turned Force Captain after nearly dying several times'." Glimmer ranted before panting.

"Okay, maybe don't start with that, but just make sure you stress that we're the good guys," Catra commented, pointing at Izuku and herself while Melog looked around the room.

"Just please give us five minutes," Bow begged.

Izuku walked up to Glimmer, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

"Take all the time you need," Izuku said, causing Glimmer to blush. "We'll stay here until you need us."

Glimmer cleared her throat, stepping back from the green-haired young man.

"Thank you, Izuku. We'll be back soon," Glimmer said as her and Bow walked to the door. "Trust us, we've got this." She added as they walked out of the room.

Izuku and Catra waited inside the room, being unsure of how someone could live with so much pink and fluffiness. They looked at each other thinking of what they had just lived on a single day alone.

"So," Izuku began.

"So," Catra countered, hoping that Izuku would start.

"Yeah, we should talk about what's happened today," Izuku sighed. "It feels crazy. I don't know how things could've gotten so messed up so quickly."

"You wanna talk crazy? Adora thinks or thought that we were killed by the princesses all those years ago!" Catra snapped. "She zapped me! And was leading an army into a village full of people just trying to survive! What crazy things did Shadow Weaver tell her to turn her into… into…" She said as tears began trailing down her cheeks.

Izuku hugged her tightly close to him, letting her drown her sorrows on him.

"I know, I know. We'll figure this out," Izuku said, trying to make her feel better. "We'll get her back. I promise."

Catra sniffed as she buried herself in Izuku's chest. A part of her wanted to open her eyes and to just realize that this was all a crazy dream. But she knew this was a reality that she had to face. She looked up at Izuku's face, noticing that he was also tearing up but fighting to keep a smile on his face to help her along. She hated to feel like Izuku had to put up with all the emotional weight.

Ever since they were younger, Catra knew that Izuku carried a lot of weight in his heart and that he would always do everything to support her. She knew that he was constantly trying to help her, to avoid being a burden. And she hated that she couldn't reach that level that she needed to help him. Catra reached up to kiss Izuku, but she then heard Melog jumping out the window, going after something in the forest.

"Melog!" Catra called out as both her and Izuku rushed to the window.

"Melog, come back!" Izuku called out.

"Princess Glimmer? Are you alright?" a voice called out from the other side of the door.

Izuku and Catra looked at the door just as it opened.

"Crap," Catra whispered.

The door opened, revealing a young woman. She was a few inches taller than Catra and had tanned dark skin with dark eyes. She had clear blue hair with a buzz cut on the left side of her head, letting her hair flow down to the right like a cloud with a metal earring that resembled a wing on her left ear. She wore a white jacket on top of an armored chest plate with a purple choker around her neck with black net patterns connecting to the chest plate, blue pants with armored boots with a blue shield that matched her armored bracelets. This was general Netossa, head strategist of the Princess Alliance.

"I heard you call out a name and was wondering if you-," Netossa stopped as she looked around the empty room. "Wasn't she grounded?" She asked before she spotted the open window.

Outside the window, while holding onto the railing, Izuku and Catra waited for the new girl to get out of the room.

"Okay, so a quick recap, we've met a princess for the first time, I transformed into a legendary eight foot tall warrior with a sword, you can read First One's writing, Adora is now a Force Captain and we are hanging off out of another girl's window," Catra recounted. "Anything else?"

"We lost Melog," Izuku added.

"Right, so how long do you think we are going to have to hold out here?" Catra asked.

"I'll go check," Izuku whispered, lifting himself up to see what was going on.

"Gotcha!" Netossa cried out, sticking her head out, but instead of finding a princess she found a young man sticking his face into her boobs.

Netossa jumped back in shock as Izuku did the same but with a bright red face. Her face then turned to rage as energy strings appeared in her hands.

"Those are for my wife only, you bastard!" Netossa shouted, tossing an energy net at Izuku's face.

"W-w-wait, I didn't mean to!" Izuku cried out.

Izuku was pulled by Catra back down to the ground, avoiding the blast at the last second. They landed on the ground by the skin of their teeth.

"The first time you make a move on a woman and it has to be someone that attacks first and asks you for more later," Catra criticized with a hint of jealousy in her voice.

"Not on purpose!" Izuku claimed, holding up his hands in defense.

"Get back here, you two!" Netossa called out, causing Izuku and Catra to run into the woods as net blasts and balls punched through the ground and trees.

"She sure misses you already!" Catra joked, ducking under a net blast that wrapped itself around a tree.

"Keep running!" Izuku replied.

Back inside the castle, Glimmer and Bow walked up to the war room where Queen Angella and Spinerella were discussing their next move. Glimmer, trying her best to keep her nerves in check, was rehearsing what she was going to say to her mother.

"Alright, so how about I start with apologizing and then I give her the news and introduce her to Izuku and She-Ra?" Glimmer suggested.

"Yeah, I think that's the best way to do it," Bow agreed. "Just maybe exclude the part of us sneaking them in."

Glimmer and Bow entered the war room and spotted both the queen and one of her most trusted advisors, Spinerella.

Queen Angella was a tall woman, almost as tall as Catra when she transformed into She-Ra, with lavender-colored skin and pale pink hair that reached to her back. She had two large translucent pale pink wings on her back, a mark of the Queen of Brightmoon. She had three water drop jewels on her, one in each ear and one on her forehead. She wore a long gray cape that resembled a secondary pair of wings, a form-fitting pink dress that hugged her regal figure, purple pants with matching boots, and a pair of long white gloves that reached up to her elbows.

Next to her was Spinerella, a young woman with fair skin, blue eyes and long lavender hair held in a ponytail. She had wide hips and a large body shaped like an hourglass that was well spread out. She wore a dark magenta leotard on top of a light purple jumpsuit with swirling patterns on it with a light blue cape that matched the blue gem necklace around her neck. She had saddle-like sandals on her feet which showed off her elegance and wind-like lightness.

"... Our connections with the Flower Kingdom remain strong and we have established a connection with Princess Rumi's Fighting Kingdom, but we still haven't had any contact with the princess of Salineas," Spinnerella explained.

"Which means we have no new information regarding the Sea Gate's status," Angella sighed before she noticed Glimmer and Bow approaching. "Glimmer, what are you doing here? I thought I was perfectly clear on you being grounded."

"Yeah, you were mom, and I apologize for defying your words. But me and Bow have news, great news in fact, we've found new allies for the Alliance," Glimmer explained, earning a curious look from her mother. "And believe me, you will love these two warriors. After seeing their skills in person, I can safely say-," She began only for Netossa to burst into the war room.

"We have two intruders! They tried to sneak into the castle through Glimmer's room," Netossa explained. "They ran into the woods, trying to escape!"

"What?!" Glimmer and Bow snapped.

Queen Angella noticed this reaction and put two and two together. Her surprise and intrigue turned into anger at what her impulsive daughter had done.

"Children… WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Queen Angella asked, causing Glimmer and Bow to shrink in fear.

"Um, we can explain," Glimmer chuckled, trying to alleviate the situation but her mother's glare wasn't helping.

Deep inside the woods around Brightmoon, Izuku and Catra poked out their heads from a bush to look out for the angry princess.

"You see her?" Catra asked.

"No, I think we lost her," Izuku said as they walked out of the bush. "But I don't think we can go back into the castle that way."

"So, we go through the front door this time, let's see how Princess Nets likes it when she's facing someone like She-Ra face first," Catra smirked, pulling out the Sword of Protection. "For the Honor of Grayskull!"

Izuku and Catra expected a bright flash of light before a transformation, but nothing happened. They both looked at the sword with curiosity before Catra tried it once more.

"I said, 'For the Honor of Grayskull!'" Catra called out, lifting the sword in the air. "Why isn't it working?"

"Maybe it needs to recharge?" Izuku suggested.

"I used it like twice and it needs to recharge? What kind of super powered sword needs to recharge?" Catra asked. "Maybe if I say it over and over it'll work?"

"You really think so?" Izuku asked.

"Not really but it seemed like a good try," Catra said before hearing movement in the bushes.

They turned around expecting the net lady or at least a couple soldiers on patrol.

"We don't want any trouble, just let us explain this and we can go our own way," Izuku said, assuming his combat stance while Catra held her sword.

Just then, Melog jumped out of the bushes with a mouse in its teeth.

"Melog, oh thank goodness it's you," Catra calmed down. "Okay, Melog is back, now back to the problem at hand. Glimmer's whole selling point is She-Ra. No She-Ra plus us being caught 'breaking' into Glimmer's room equals not a good first impression. Any suggestions?"

Izuku scratched his chin, thinking about what they could do. As far as Izuku understood, the sword channeled the power of magic into Catra. But it seemed to need something else if he had to guess. He recalled the two times Catra had transformed into that tall muscular warrior woman and he got nothing. But he knew about focusing energy.

"Maybe if you can get in the same mindset you'll be able to channel the sword's power once more," Izuku suggested.

"And how could we even do that?" Catra asked before Izuku smiled, giving her a feeling of dread. "No, not that."

-Flashback-

"Meditation is more than just a vital skill for a warrior, it is also something that helps sharpen your senses and relax your mind," Toshinori explained as he sat cross-legged before Izuku and Catra. "But for the mastery of One For All, you need to master the calmness that meditation will grant you."

Izuku was glued to Toshinori's every word and nodded his head as he took in everything he said. He felt like he needed to engrave the whole lecture into his brain as if his life depended on it.

Catra, however, was just yawning out of boredom. She picked her ear with her pinky finger as the conversation went over her head.

"So, how is this going to be useful in learning to shatter rocks and bend steel with your pinky?" Catra asked. "Why don't you just teach Izuku how to do something useful, like how to paralyze someone with a single blow or how to tell if someone is lying by the twitching of their nose?"

"Because not all lessons are about fighting," Toshinori replied, closing his eyes.

Izuku and Catra closed their eyes just like Toshinori had done. They kept quiet as they heard the winds of the Crimson Waste. They tried to clear their mind as their adoptive father spoke once more.

"One For All is more than just pure boundless strength, it is the ability to channel not just your inner power but of all magic around you," Toshinori explained. "With One For All, you are taking the power of nature itself and making yourself a conduit of its power. That is why you must understand your place in the world and all around you. Now breathe in, and breathe out."

Izuku and Catra did as their master was telling them. They did it for hours and hours, hoping to understand what their father was telling them to do. Until eventually they both fell asleep from all the breathing and inevitable heat.

-Present-

"Breathe in. Breathe out," Izuku instructed as he sat cross-legged in front of Catra.

Catra couldn't help but feel a bit nostalgic with what she was doing. It was a nice reminder that she still had the man she cared most with her. She opened one of her eyes to look at the sword, hoping that something had worked.

"It's not doing anything," Catra pointed out.

"Think back to when you used the sword in the middle of the battlefield, maybe that'll help," Izuku suggested.

Catra stood back up, cracking her neck as she focused on how she felt a desire to change and become more than what she was.

"For the Honor of Grayskull!" Catra called out, this time unleashing a furious flurry of bright lights from her sword.

Izuku ducked and dodged the beams as they were fired all over the place like a rain of deadly fire.

"Ah! Catra, stop it!" Izuku begged.

"I don't know how!" Catra said as one of the blasts struck Melog. "Melog!"

Melog started to grow larger and larger. Her fur became brownish red and a large transparent green mane around her head with matching green eyes. The once small and easily carried cat was now the size of a lioness with green eyes. It let out an almost ethereal mewl as it looked at Izuku and Catra.

"Melog?" Catra asked.

"The sword can change other beings too?!" Izuku asked, shocked as he wondered what would've happened if he got struck with one of those beams.

Melog looked down at its new body, freaking out. The now large jungle cat ran away, deeper into the Whispering Woods.

"Melog please, come back! I didn't mean to!" Catra cried out as they chased after their cat.

Izuku and Catra ran in, hoping to catch up to the transformed Melog.

"What happened back there?!" Izuku asked.

"I was thinking about changing into She-Ra! What else do you think I was thinking?" Catra snapped.

Just then the two friends ran into a large bush only to crash into someone.

"OW! Watch where you're going?" an old voice asked.

"We're sorry, we didn't see you, ma'am," Izuku apologized, helping Catra to her feet.

"We were a bit preoccupied," Catra added, looking for any signs of Melog. "Say, you haven't seen a large almost magical jungle cat running around here, have you?" She asked.

"Cat? I only see one cat, and it's you, Mara," the old lady replied. "You even have your sword and all."

Izuku and Catra stopped searching when they heard that.

"You recognize my sword?" Catra asked.

"Who are you?" Izuku asked as the two friends looked at their new acquaintance.

The woman before them was, for lack of a better term, a short, wrinkled old crone with large bottle-like glasses that magnified the size of her eyes almost three-fold. Her pale violet hair was long and looked almost like a shrubbery or bush. In her hands was a gnarled-looking broom that she seemed to carry like a walking stick.

"It is me, Razz, Mara. Don't you remember?" Razz introduced herself.

"No, I don't remember. This is literally the first time we've met," Catra countered. "How do you know about the sword?"

"What my friend is trying to ask is, we're a bit lost in terms of how to use the sword," Izuku said, trying to be polite to the old lady they'd just run up against. "Is there a way you could tell us, please?"

Razz tapped her chin for a bit before lifting an empty basket.

"Only if you two help Razz pick up berries for dessert," Razz said, giving the basket to Izuku. "You should bring this boy more often, Mara, he is quite handsome. I can see why you keep him around aside from his head and manners."

"Yeah, that's one of the reasons," Catra remarked as Razz led them deeper into the woods.

Catra looked at Izuku with a raised eyebrow.

"What?" Izuku asked.

"Nothing, it's just, I can't believe that we're following a weird old lady that keeps calling me Mara into the woods for berries," Catra replied. "Are we seriously doing this?"

"It's either this or take our chances with the princesses of Brightmoon and the queen without She-Ra," Izuku pointed out. "Plus, we could find Melog like this."

Catra sighed in defeat. As much as she wanted to do something completely different, she wanted to find Melog and learn more about the sword before meeting with the queen and the princesses. She certainly didn't want to go toe to toe with the net princess without some extra muscle.

"Well at least we don't have to deal with any angry princesses." Catra shrugged.

Back in the palace of Brightmoon, Netossa and Spinnerella were preparing to go out with a squad of guards by their side.

"Alright, men, we've got two unknown fugitives running around the woods near the castle," Netossa explained. "By order of the queen they are to be captured for questioning. Leave the bruising to me though."

"Yes, ma'am," the soldiers replied with a salute.

"Honey, don't you think you're taking this a little too far? It was an accident," Spinnerella said.

"You don't know that. That baby-faced look must be a trick of some kind," Netossa sneered in anger. "When I catch him and his little girlfriend, they'll be sorry."

"But what if they're actually trying to join the Alliance and help people?" Spinnerella suggested. "If you beat them up they might reconsider joining us."

Netossa thought about it for a moment. Using her strategic mind, she considered the possibilities of what could happen. She then sighed in defeat.

"Fine, but I will punch him at least once," Netossa sighed.

"And I'm sure he'll understand it, sweetie," Spinnerella said, kissing her wife's cheek. "I'll explain it to him if he doesn't."

"That's why I married you," Netossa replied dreamingly. "You sweet talk them, I hurt them. Move out people, the Horde has been spotted in the western edge, we'll start there." She signaled the soldiers as they moved out of the castle.

"I love it when she gets like that," Spinnerella whispered with a smile.

Spinnerella was secretly hoping to meet the young man that had been able to avoid her wife's enraged onslaught. There were very few in all of Etheria that could dodge Netossa's energy nets, and not many of those were men. The way she heard of the description, she could guess that the man and the girl they were looking for had something to them. Spinnerella wanted to see if the man was what her angry wife meant but a part of her knew that there was more to it. She followed her wife as the group went on towards the area.

Back with Izuku and Catra, they were helping Madame Razz pick up berries from the nearby bushes as they kept on walking.

"We've been picking berries for hours and she has only been saying nonsense," Catra whispered to Izuku as she picked berries and he held the basket.

"Okay, but she's bound to say something. Let me ask her," Izuku whispered, moving towards Madame Razz. "Say, Madame Razz, did Mara ever tell you how the sword worked? Or if there was a way to say the chant to transform? Like a special pose?"

"Oh honey, Mara always says the same thing to transform, kinda annoying after a while," Madame Razz commented. "Ooh! Come, come, come, the best berries are this way!" She said, pulling Izuku and Catra with surprising strength.

The two friends sighed in defeat but at least not completely empty handed. They had just learned that the phrase was the same and could be used at any time.

"Okay, so the words are the same, but there is no telling if they have something else," Catra said.

"Maybe you need to think differently than what you first thought?" Izuku suggested.

"Here we are, dearies!" Madame Razz called, getting their attention.

Izuku and Catra were then shocked to see where Madame Razz had just taken them to a large crystal beacon-like tower. They were caught by surprise by the structure and how it looked like the cave they had found themselves with Glimmer and Bow.

The tower was covered with wild grass and vegetation after many years at the mercy of the elements. However, it still held onto the crystal color that it must've had back when the First Ones walked around Etheria. It didn't look damaged or even affected by the vines growing around the structure. The Beacon was a timely reminder to all that saw it, that the mysteries of the First Ones were still out there, waiting to be discovered.

And the one mystery that was of great importance was their connection to the legendary warrior She-Ra.

"Is that?" Catra asked.

"A large First One's ruin standing in the middle of the Whispering Woods? Yeah," Izuku clarified. "Maybe we can find something about She-Ra here. There were murals of her in the last one, and I could read the writing if there were some."

"Here we go! Here are the berries," Madame Razz cheered, picking the berries.

The two friends looked at the old lady, wondering if this was all about helping them in some strange way.

"You brought us here on purpose, didn't you?" Izuku asked.

"Well yes, of course, dearie, this is where all the best berries are," Madame Razz replied. "Sometimes you need to look for answers instead of doing the same thing over and over. You need to think about what you're thinking before doing something."

Catra couldn't help but wonder if that was meant for her.

"What was all that picking berries for? To calm myself?" Catra asked. "I just want to do something that will help Iz-I mean, everyone," she added, trying not to let Izuku see her blush.

"Oh I didn't know you were shy around boys, Mara. Always putting others before you," Madame Razz chuckled, getting a glare from Catra. "She-Ra will always protect those that need to be defended, but I guess that applies double when you're in love with someone."

Before Catra could snap back at Madame Razz or say something to cover herself from Izuku's curious look, a loud feline roar caught their attention.

"What was that?" Izuku asked.

"Sounds like someone's in trouble, dearies," Madame Razz commented.

Catra listened to the roars, feeling something calling her. At first, she thought this was just some residual feline instinct. But then she recognized it all too well.

"Melog! Izuku, she's in trouble!" Catra shouted, taking off after the origin of the roars.

Izuku channeled One For All, picking up Razz before heading towards where Catra was running.

Izuku caught up with Catra by the edge of a cliff just outside the Whispering Woods.

The rocky gray area had little vegetation and lots of dirt; a far cry of the lavish forest right behind the group. The few creatures that lived in the area were hiding amongst the rocks as something was coming towards them.

They looked down to see the newly transformed Melog roaring and swiping at the incoming Horde soldiers and tanks, led by Force Captain Grizzlor.

"Capture the beast! Shadow Weaver will want it for her experiments!" Grizzlor commanded.

The Horde soldiers pulled out their nets and electric batons, approaching Melog like a pack of predators to their prey.

Melog roared at them with her eyes turning red along with her mane, trying to defend herself.

Back with Izuku and Catra, they looked at the Horde soldiers with anger as Catra pulled out her sword.

"No!" Catra yelled. "I am not letting them hurt anyone else."

"Are you sure? You'll be outnumbered," Madame Razz pointed out. "What about your sword?"

Catra looked at the sword before narrowing her eyes. She didn't need the sword to do anything before. She was going to help because she wanted to.

"Let's go, Izuku!" Catra said, lifting up her sword. "For the Honor of Grayskull!" She called out, triggering the transformation into She-Ra.

"Right behind you!" Izuku replied with the green aura around his body.

Down below, as the Horde soldiers got closer to Melog, a powerful shockwave pushed them back. They looked up to see both Izuku and Catra standing between Melog and them.

Catra stood transformed into She-Ra once more, holding her sword up in protection of her friend.

"Ooh, that's a new one," Madame Razz pointed out from the top of the cliff.

"Stay away from her!" Catra called out, pointing her sword at the Horde soldiers. "Or else you'll deal with me."

"With us!" Izuku corrected before the Horde soldiers charged at the two friends. "Because we are here!"

Izuku charged at the soldiers, punching the first one, shattering the helmet and its visor. He turned before kicking another soldier on the side. The feeling of steel bending against his fists was unlike any he was used to, but he fought on. He dodged the thrust of the electric baton from another soldier before landing a left hook across the face. He jumped up, pulling back his right leg before letting out a shockwave of air at the soldiers.

Catra, meanwhile, was slashing at all the incoming soldiers, sending them back with her powerful shockwaves. As the electric net came at her, she sliced the met with ease before charging at the tank led by Grizzlor. She jumped from side to side, avoiding the shots while glaring at the Force Captain.

"Fire! Fire!" Grizzlor commanded.

The tank fired at Catra but she jumped up, avoiding the attack. Lifting her sword up over her head as it brimmed with power. She brought down the blade, cutting the tank in two, forcing the Force Captain to jump out.

Izuku spotted more soldiers coming towards Catra as the tank exploded around her. He rushed to her side with blinding speeds. He jumped up, landing a double kick on some incoming soldiers, pushing them back as Catra punched another soldier.

"How are you doing?" Izuku asked, landing behind Catra.

"Just peachy, you?" Catra replied as more soldiers came towards them.

Izuku ducked under the shot of an electric baton before punching the soldier in the chest.

Catra sliced the armor with a powerful swing of her sword before grabbing another soldier and tossing them.

"I could do this all day," Izuku replied with a smile on his face.

As more soldiers regrouped for the attack, the two friends looked at their opponents with smiles on their faces.

But before the soldiers could reach them, a powerful tornado slammed between them and the soldiers pushing them back.

Izuku and Catra looked up to see Spinnerella coming down to their side followed by Netossa and the soldiers from Brightmoon.

"My apologies, but you are in Brightmoon territory and your attack on our home will not be tolerated," Spinnerella said, hovering in the air with her tornado before turning to Izuku and Catra. "You two mind if we take a crack at them?"

"Um, sure," Izuku replied, feeling a bit nervous that two princesses and the guards came out to help them.

"Yeah, we soften them up enough for you guys," Catra said, not lowering her guard amongst the two princesses.

"What do you say, love? Same game as always?" Netossa asked, jumping in with energy strings around her hands.

"If you think you can win this time," Spinnerella remarked, flying after her wife.

Spinnerella unleashed a powerful tornado at the soldiers lifting them up into the air. With a flip of her hand she slammed them down on the ground. She spun around the flying blasts before pulling in the sliced net pieces, wrapping the soldiers in a tight bind.

"Oh, you wanna play with nets? Let me show you how to play with nets!" Netossa said, with a cocky grin at her wife.

Netossa fired two large nets from both of her hands, wrapping the pieces of the destroyed tanks. She pulled them up into the air before slamming them down, pinning the Force Captain and his tanks in a tight bind. She created an orb between her hands and tossed it in the air before dropping it down on the soldiers.

The orb expanded and wrapped the remaining people down to the ground.

Izuku and Catra looked at each other as the two princesses charged at the remaining soldiers and armored tanks. They smiled at each other before charging in along with the soldiers. In the blink of an eye, the two friends punched a tank, crushing it while the princesses observed their work.

The battlefield was silent as the Horde soldiers either fled or were taken by the Brightmoon soldiers.

"Well, that was fun," Izuku said. "Though it looks like Melog vanished."

"Yeah, but we should go look for her," Catra said before a large net dome caught her and Izuku inside. "Hey, what gives?!"

"I think you two and I have some unfinished business," Netossa said, jumping down before the two.

"What my wife is trying to say is, we'd like to talk and the queen would like a word as well," Spinnerella said as Catra cut down the net with her sword.

Izuku quickly got between Catra and the other two princesses, hoping to stop the fight.

"Um, we'd like to speak to her, so yeah!" Izuku said in a bit of a rush, obviously a bit nervous as Catra glared at the princesses.

Izuku and Catra walked ahead along with the soldiers and the other prisoners.

"You know, he is actually really cute, like a little rabbit," Spinnerella whispered to her wife. "Maybe you just overreacted."

"Overreacted? Please don't tell me he's fooling you with that innocent look?" Netossa asked. "I'm keeping my eyes on those two."

"Ooh, should I be jealous?" Spinnerella teased, causing her wife to blush.

Back at the palace of Brightmoon, Queen Angella was scolding both Glimmer and Bow.

"Of all the far-fetched, harebrained schemes you could've thought of Glimmer, this is by far the worst!" Angella ranted as Glimmer and Bow winced at her words. "Sneaking out to find some piece of First One's tech without telling anyone, fighting the Horde and bringing two complete strangers you met today into the castle through your room! What were you thinking?!"

"Mom, please, if you just let me explain," Glimmer pleaded, but to no avail.

"For goodness' sake, Glimmer, you are not a child anymore! You can't just go out on every impulse in hope of making up for your short-comings!" Angella snapped. "Give me one good reason why you'd do this!"

The doors of the throne room opened up, revealing Izuku with One For All coursing through him and Catra in her She-Ra form.

Angella and all those present turned to see the new arrivals in awe. Their presence was like a blazing fire that the people in the throne room had not felt in a long time. It was as though they were looking at living legends that have been brought to life from the words that were once spoken.

The queen herself was shocked, but her eyes were not focused on the imposing eight foot woman with a legendary sword in hand. No, her eyes were set on Izuku as his green aura flared like a flame. She thought she would never see that flame again.

"Um, hello," Izuku greeted as Netossa and Spinnerella moved up to meet the queen.

"We're sorry to disturb you, your highness," Netossa said. "But these two would like a word."

"One For All…" Angella whispered. "Please, approach."

"Mom, these are our friends, Izuku and Catra but you may know her as-" Glimmer began.

"Legendary warrior She-Ra, but please call me Catra," Catra said, transforming back to her normal self. "Listen, your majesty, I'm not very good with this but we want to offer our services to your cause." She knelt, offering the Sword of Protection to Angella.

"We know we may not look like much but we want to help stop the Horde and liberate Etheria from their tyranny. We pledge to help the Alliance however we can and for as long as you need us," Izuku added, kneeling next to Catra.

Angella picked up the sword and looked at the two young heroes with a careful eye. She turned to her daughter and saw that she believed what the two new arrivals had said. The power and strength with which they carried themselves made her think back to two people she knew. Two people she would give anything to have back on her side.

"You two understand what you are pledging yourselves to?" Queen Angella asked, getting a nod from both Izuku and Catra. "Then the Alliance accepts your allegiance, She-Ra, Princess of Power and Izuku, heir of One For All. You may rise," she declared with a smile which made both Izuku and Catra look at each other as everyone else cheered.

"Wait, you know about One For All?" Izuku asked, confused.

"We have much to talk about," Queen Angella said, handing Catra back the Sword of Protection.
