Mermaid of the Sea Kingdom

Izuku looked at the black and blue pirate ship as it made its way to the Horde ship, boarding it to plunder. He and Catra knew how this worked. It was the same in the Crimson Waste; the strong rob from the weak to become stronger. Only difference he could see right now was that the one stealing the supplies was using the magic of a princess. Izuku narrowed his eyes on the pirate ship.

"It would seem our troubles are just beginning," Loyax mentioned.

"Yeah, these pirates didn't waste any time." Catra turned to Sea Hawk. "Hey Sea Hawk, any suggestions on how to deal with these guys?"

"They haven't spotted us yet, and that's probably a good thing. For some reason, those pirates have it out for me," Sea Hawk said with curiosity. "Though I can't think why."

"Maybe they fear you, Sea Hawk? Maybe you're the only one that can put an end to their reign of terror?" Bow suggested with stars in his eyes.

"Perhaps they fear my world renowned shanties, my friend! They are pure and unadulterated testaments to my great deeds on the high seas!" Sea Hawk boasted like he was the reason a group of pirates were so vicious.

However the other four passengers of the Dragon's Daughter 3 didn't believe that was the reason.

"Sea Hawk, how many drinks did you have before we left port?" Catra asked.

"One or three pints, but who's counting," Sea Hawk shrugged off.

Glimmer sighed, bringing the conversation back to a more present matter.

"That doesn't matter right now. These pirates are using Princess Magic to commit these horrible acts," Glimmer stated. "If they are holding Princess Mermista hostage and forcing her to help them, then we have to save her and restore the Kingdom of Salineas to its rightful ruler." She said, getting Sea Hawk's attention down from his own ego.

"What? You mean to tell me that these vile scurvy sea dogs have my beautiful Mermista hostage?!" Sea Hawk shook Glimmer with his hands as his demeanor did a whole 180. "Not only do they put a price on my head, but now they have taken the most beautiful princess in all the seven seas of Etheria. No doubt baiting me into going after them in a blaze of heroic passion!" He rushed to the wheel, spinning it towards the Blue Pearl Mermaid. "Adventure!"

The Dragon's Daughter 3 set course straight to the pirate ship as the rest of the passengers prepared for the worst.

"Does this guy not have a sense of self preservation?!" Catra asked, still in her She-Ra form, holding onto the railing.

"I don't think he's thinking straight," Izuku replied, keeping his eyes on the pirate ship. "I don't think we can stop him even if he wanted to."

"Well, at least this saves us the trouble of looking for the pirates," Glimmer pointed out as Izuku helped her back to her feet. "If we can save Princess Mermista, we'll be able to strengthen ties with Salineas and get more support for the Alliance."

"If these pirates think their deeds will go unpunished, then they've got another thing coming," Loyax added, preparing himself for another battle.

"Then as Sea Hawk said, to Adventure!" Bow said, holding up a lit torch.

"DO NOT BURN THE SHIP!" Everyone but Sea Hawk screamed, making Bow put the torch away.

As the pirates were picking up their loot from the Horde ship, they spotted the Dragon's Daughter sailing straight towards them.

"What is that?" A pirate asked.

The Dragon's Daughter 3 crashed into the Blue Pearl Mermaid, knocking the pirates out for a loop. The pirates on the ship tried to regain their composure and snap back to their feet. They pulled out their weapons as they charged against the enemy vessel. They boarded the Dragon's Daughter 3 to fight those that were attacking them.

However, they were shocked to find only six people in the whole ship.

"Adventure!" Sea Hawk charged with a battlecry, leading the charge with his cutlass.

"Oh crap, it's Sea Hawk!" one of the pirates gulped as the rest of the heroes charged in.

Sea Hawk pushed back one of the pirates, clashing his cutlass against the pirate's. He clashed over and over with his opponent before swinging his blade upwards, knocking back the pirate before kicking another back.

Izuku and Catra ran behind the danger-prone sea captain, punching and knocking back the pirates with their bare hands. The two friends had plenty of experience fighting off raiding parties of bandits from their time in the Crimson Waste. As Izuku used One For All, knocking some pirates into the air, giving Catra the chance to swat them away with her greater strength.

Glimmer teleported next to the group of pirates sending glittery balls of light against the pirates, blinding them. She popped in and out from sight, avoiding the blades and shots of the pirates.

Loyax did his best to fight off the pirates, using his years of experience. He sliced at the pirates, disarming them with ease with a few well placed thrusts, parries, and slices. But he quickly found himself surrounded by the bare fisted pirates. But before he could've been beaten to death, Bow jumped in, firing a couple of net arrows, capturing the pirates before they could make Loyax an early grave.

"Thank you, Master Bow," Loyax said.

"You're welcome, good sir," Bow bowed in respect as Izuku joined them.

"Thank each other later, Sea Hawk is on the other ship!" Izuku pointed before picking up Bow and Loyax.

With the power of One For All, Izuku pulled Bow and Loyax with a mighty jump, landing in the middle of the enemy ship.

Catra and Glimmer landed next to them as Sea Hawk looked for the captain of the pirates like a swashbuckling mad man.

"Come out you fiend! Release the beautiful Mermista and I shall let you live," Sea Hawk threatened.

"Sea Hawk calm down!" Glimmer called out.

"Why? They are too cowardly to even show their faces!" Sea Hawk replied. "If even one hair on her beautiful head has been damaged, I'll have you hung high by the neck!"

A set of heavy footsteps got the attention of the group as a large shadow came over them. A trident came out from the captain's cabin as Mermista stepped out to meet those that boarded the ship.

"Princess Mermista?" Izuku asked before the sea water snatched him and the group, disarming them before holding them up in the air.

"What's the meaning of this?!" Loyax asked, demanding an answer.

"I should be asking you that," Mermista replied dryly. "What are you doing on my ship and attacking my men?"

The eyes of the group went wide at the words of the princess. They had come here expecting to find her in chains or against her will. But now there they were, being held by her powers as her crew tried to get back on board.

"Wait, what?" Catra asked, turning back to her normal self.

"This wasn't what I was expecting," Glimmer muttered, as Mermista pulled them in closer.

"So, care to tell me what the big deal is? Also, who are you guys?" Mermista asked looking past Sea Hawk and at the group that had taken down her crew with ease and were brave enough to do so.

Back in the Fright Zone, Adora and her squad had gathered in the harbor of the Horde's naval base. They had been given a test mission by Shadow Weaver, who believed that the new team that Adora had formed was not the best and therefore needed to be tested.

"So, what's the mission again?" Lonnie asked as they boarded the ship.

"We've gotten reports that several of our ships have been attacked by pirates in the Black Line," Adora replied. "Our job is to go and destroy any pirates we can find. It will take us near the dreaded Sea Gate, so we need to take care not to run afoul to any princesses until we're ready."

"Wow, we get to see the Sea Gate first hand?" Kyle asked with a younger brother's glee. "I've heard that it's glistening like the sea when the moon hits the waves."

Rogelio growled in agreement before growling something else.

"Underwater treasure? Sweet," Kyle laughed.

Adora rolled her eyes at their gleeful nature. This was a serious mission but she couldn't help but feel like this was what Izuku and Catra would act around each other.

"Get ready to set sail," Adora said. "Lonnie, you're on weapons. Kyle, communications and navigations. Rogelio, you handle the wheel. Scorpia, you're with me."

"Alright, you heard Adora, let's go hunt some pirates!" Scorpia cheered as they all went on to their respective seats, leaving Lonnie alone with Adora.

Lonnie gave Adora a look, which told her that they had to talk.

"Wondering how they're doing?" Lonnie asked.

"Yeah," Adora sighed.

"Still can't believe that they are still alive. Those two would've been some monsters if they were with us," Lonnie chuckled. "You do know that what happened wasn't your fault, right?"

"They were my friends, Lonnie. I could've done something. That's why I won't let them down this time," Adora stated sternly. "Let's go!"

On board the Blue Pearl Mermaid, Izuku, Catra, Glimmer, Bow, Sea Hawk and Loyax were knelt down before the captain of the pirates, Mermista, as she paced back and forth trying to make sense of the situation.

"So, you're telling me that you thought I kidnapped myself?" Mermista asked. "Whatever gave you that idea?"

"Oh my sweet Mermista, fear not, for we are here to rescue you!" Sea Hawk exclaimed despite their predicament. "Let the evil fiend that's conned you into becoming a ruthless pirate show his face and he shall know the meaning of true justice~!" He sang in a shanty.

Mermista just groaned in annoyance. She could not stand the way that Sea Hawk sometimes took his flamboyant attitude. She would never know why she once thought of it as charming. She rolled her eyes as he then went on to recite some shanty of his bravery and how he would've rescued her. Her eyes then drifted to the other members of her "rescue party" and a couple caught her interest. She hadn't expected an old man, an archer that seemed to be one of her ex's fans or a pink girl that looked a little familiar. But the two that caught her eye were the green muscular boy and the cat woman that was once an eight foot tall warrior. And a part of her was interested in the somewhat cute look of the green-headed boy with lots of muscles.

"You." Mermista pointed to Izuku. "You're coming with me." She smiled a sultry smile, dragging Izuku back to her cabin.

"What? W-W-Wait a sec," Izuku stuttered as he was dragged to the captain's cabin.

"Hey! Leave him alone!" Catra snapped only to be restrained by the crew.

"What are you planning to do to Izuku?" Glimmer demanded.

"Izuku? That's a cute name," Mermista commented as she tossed the water restrained Izuku into her room. "Take a guess, girls." She added, closing the door behind her.

Izuku found himself inside the captain's cabin. He noticed how it was filled with momentos, fancy dresses, provocative clothes, jewels and lots of gold from the bottom of the ocean. He heard the door lock as Mermista put her captain's coat on a hanger with her trident next to it.

"So, Izuku~, what do you like first? Answers? Or pleasure~?" Mermista climbed on top of Izuku, talking to him with a voice that seemed to lure him like a siren song.

Izuku's face lit up. He gulped before he thought of a way of buying time.

"Um, would you be so kind as to let the water off of me?" Izuku asked. "We don't need to rush things, I mean we just met, but I feel like we should get some things cleared out of the way."

Mermista was a little surprised that he was still thinking with his big head. But she also enjoyed a challenge.

"Seems fair. I was never a fan of bondage anyway." Mermista waved the water off of Izuku while still being on top of him. "Now, what do you want me to answer~?" She asked, getting her face dangerously close to Izuku's.

"W-W-We c-c-could start with introductions," Izuku stuttered. "My-my name is I-Izuku, and we, w-well, we came to rescue you."

"Do I look like I need rescuing?" Mermista asked.

"Um, well from the stories we heard, they said that the pirates were using the power to control the water to plunder ships," Izuku explained. "And since they never said anything about who the captain was and since the Alliance didn't know anything about you for some time, we figured. But the fact that you're alright is quite a relief. We were worried about you."

Mermista couldn't help but blush at how adorable Izuku was being despite the situation. She noticed how despite not being restrained, he didn't make a move on her body. Usually this was the time she took control or the one that caught her eye would try to dominate her. But in the end they all disappointed her. However, she decided to play the game a little longer.

"And why were you looking for me?" Mermista asked, pressing her breasts near Izuku's face.

"We came here on a mission from the Queen of Brightmoon to make sure you were okay," Izuku said, closing his eyes so as to not look at her large dark breasts.

"What?" Mermista was knocked out of her game face. "You're from Brightmoon? That makes more sense now." Mermista got off of Izuku with a groan.

"Yeah, we came here with Princess Glimmer to see if you needed help. Everyone was worried about you," Izuku panted as his face turned back to a normal color.

Mermista groaned, sitting down on one of her chairs while rubbing the bridge of her nose.

"Oh right, of course they were worried. I mean, who cares about me unless they want that decaying wall to work," Mermista groaned. "I need a drink. Mind passing me the flask over there?"

Izuku picked up the flask and quickly sat down before Mermista.

"Um, what do you mean the 'decaying wall', is something wrong with the Sea Gate?" Izuku asked.

"It has a few holes, but it doesn't matter. As soon as it started my parents weren't able to put it together, they left like a couple of rats from a sinking ship. They dropped the kingdom on me and bailed along with half of the citizens. Talk about a sweet sixteen, am I right?" Mermista grabbed the flask before taking a swig. "Thanks by the way."

"You're welcome. You know, we could give the gate a look and see if we can fix it," Izuku suggested. "We helped the Flower Kingdom with their problem and we could do the same for you."

Mermista looked at Izuku with curiosity.

"Why should I believe you?" Mermista asked. "You're probably doing this to get something out of me. I mean, if it's just sex-"

"NO!" Izuku snapped, confusing yet intriguing Mermista a little more. "I-I mean, we would like it if you joined the Alliance and helped us fight the Horde. They are a big threat to everyone that uses magic or that wants peace in the world. Look, I don't know why you chose to become a pirate and get free of responsibilities you weren't ready for. But soon enough they'll come looking for you. So either we stand together or we fall one by one."

Mermista had heard similar speeches before, but this one was one that she found strangely allured to. His words seemed to reach her, it also didn't help that she thought he was handsome.

"Alright, boy scout. I'll make you a deal, if you can beat me I'll take you to the Sea Gate and if you can fix it, I'll join the Alliance, and if I win you become part of my crew," Mermista said, leaning in her seat. "Sounds fair?"

"Um, yeah. But I get to pick the game, it seems only fair," Izuku agreed.

"Sure, pick any game you want~," Mermista purred, crossing her legs.

Izuku could only gulp with how she was crossing her legs.

Outside the captain's cabin, Catra and the rest of the group were worried about what was happening inside the cabin.

"It's too quiet, what could she be doing?" Bow asked. "What if she's torturing him?" He suggested, causing Catra to fear it.

"Bow, she's a princess, she won't torture him. Then again the look she was giving him wasn't a nasty one," Glimmer muttered only for Catra to hear it.

Her mind became filled with thoughts of what Mermista could be doing to Izuku. She tensed at the thought of him being hurt or doing something he didn't want to. Her claws started to cut the ropes she was being held by as she feared what was going on.

"You think the captain is seriously doing it with that kid?" one of the pirates asked.

"I mean, she hasn't dated anyone in a while so she might be wanting to scratch that itch," Another one replied.

"Who was the last one? Man or woman?" A third pirate whispered only for Catra's eyes to widen at the words.

"Both, at the same time." A fourth replied.

Loyax noticed Catra gritting her teeth.

"Fear not, Lady Catra. Master Izuku is a man of principles and honor, I can tell for the short time I've known him," Loyax whispered. "I am sure that he is, at this very moment, chivalrously negotiating our release and clearing this mess."

"Damn it, you're good!"

Everyone turned at the shout coming from inside Mermista's cabin. One of the windows was open, to allow for air circulation, but that also led to some screams.

And Catra's sharp ears were picking everything.

"You were close that time, but it seems I made a comeback," Izuku's voice said.

"Don't get an even bigger head, cutie. You got lucky at finding that combination but I still got a few rounds on me," Mermista's voice said, giving Catra a naked and intimate picture. "Get ready, boy scout~. I'm going to make you scream my name all night long~."

"LIKE HELL YOU DO, BITCH!" Catra snapped free of her bonds, jumping on top of one of the pirates, kicking him behind the head.

Catra snatched back her sword from another pirate before punching him across the face. She kicked the third pirate in the stomach before cutting her friends free. Without a word, Catra ran towards the cabin door with murder in her eyes. She kicked the door down while getting ready to kill Mermista.

"Alright you overgrown fish, get away from my Izuku!" Catra growled while Glimmer teleported next to her, stopping her from swinging her sword.

"Catra, calm down! You can't kill her!" Glimmer argued.

"What's going on?" Izuku and Mermista asked.

Catra and Glimmer got a good look at the scene before them. But instead of what they were imagining, they saw Izuku and Mermista playing a round of poker.

"Um, what's going on here?" Catra asked.

"We were playing poker, but it seems that I lost," Mermista sighed as her cards were all over the table.

"Wait, then what was all the screaming and rounds and the words?" Glimmer asked.

"It turns out that I'm a pretty good player when I focus on my cards," Izuku replied sheepishly.

"So, you two weren't," Catra began.

"Not for lack of trying on my end," Mermista replied. "You should've said you were hitched from the beginning, Izuku." She added, making Izuku blush. "Well, a deal is a deal."

"What deal?" Catra and Glimmer asked.

"I'll explain outside." Izuku chuckled.

The Blue Pearl Mermaid sailed through the sea waves towards Salineas with a somewhat more calmed mood. Izuku, Catra and Glimmer stood next to Mermista as they sailed with the two friends of the green haired young man keeping their eyes on the sea princess.

"So let me get this straight, Mermista bailed on her kingdom after her parents and her people basically bailed on her?" Catra asked.

"Yeah, that's basically her reason for leaving. She figured that living the free life on the high seas would be better than being burdened by a legacy her parents didn't care for," Izuku explained.

"And she tried to seduce you because she fancied you and then you beat her in poker to get a chance at getting her back to her duties?" Glimmer asked.

"Basically." Izuku blushed, scratching the back of his head.

"Hey, I didn't do anything after he explained the situation." Mermista defended herself. "Besides, things wouldn't have taken such a turn if you hadn't attacked my ship like a bunch of crazies. Also, men tend to think less with their heads when a woman is half naked. Right ladies?"

Catra and Glimmer blushed at the thought before looking away. They were too embarrassed to admit it but they were a bit jealous that Mermista had gotten so close to their friend.

"So, what do you want us to do anyway?" Catra asked.

"Well you and Glitter could lose the shirt and the pants and straddle the boy scout-" Mermista began before Catra snapped at her.

"I mean about the stupid gate!" Catra roared, begging for a chance to use She-Ra's power to smack the princess.

"And my name is Glimmer," Glimmer added. "Besides, we don't see Izuku as a plaything. He is our friend and we'd never do anything to hurt him or make him uncomfortable."

Mermista looked at the two girls knowing that there was more to their feelings towards the green haired boy scout. She shrugged as she figured that they'd get there eventually, and if they didn't she'd take her shot.

Just then the group heard Sea Hawk singing a shanty with the rest of the boys.

"Speaking of uncomfortable, why did you bring him along? He's so annoying," Mermista groaned.

"He was the most qualified captain we could find. Plus Loyax and Bow have made sure that he didn't set his boat on fire," Izuku commented.

"Is that why he doesn't stink of shark and squid guts too?" Mermista asked, watching as Loyax wrestled a bottle of rum from Sea Hawk's hands. "I'm pretty sure he has a secret kink of liking shark BJs."

"Shark what?" Glimmer asked.

"I'll tell you when you're older, Glitter." Mermista shrugged as the Sea Gate came into view.

The Sea Gate was a massive structure of great regal design. There were two large sea dragons on each column, looking like defending guardians of Salineas. Between the two sea dragons was the entrance of the city, a large glowing blue curtain filled with symbols of star constellations of sea creatures coming together into a large glowing star in the middle. However, the imposing and great wall of light had holes that were growing, cutting the constellations like someone had poked holes on it like a picture on a dart board.

"Wow," Glimmer said in awe.

"The Sea Gate of Salineas, it is as majestic as the last time I saw it," Loyax said.

"It looks like it needs a few patches," Catra pointed out.

"Was it like this when you left, Princess Mermista?" Izuku asked.

"Please, Mermista is fine, boy scout. And they've gotten a little bigger," Mermista sighed. "Take us in through the secret side entrance." She ordered her crew.

The Blue Pearl Mermaid docked the ship as Mermista led Izuku, Catra, Glimmer, Bow, Loyax and, reluctantly, Sea Hawk to the throne room. Izuku opened the heavy doors with the help of Loyax, revealing the slightly dusty throne that looked like a large pink oyster with a crystal blue pearl on top of it.

"Welcome to the throne of Salineas, or whatever is left of it," Mermista said, walking up to her throne, sitting on it.

"Wow, this place really is deserted." Catra traced a finger on one of the dusty columns.

"Like I said, a great sweet sixteen birthday present," Mermista groaned. "The stained glass is all that my parents left about the Sea Gate, but neither they nor I could make heads or tails about it. It's all gibberish if you ask me."

Izuku, Catra, Glimmer, Bow, and Loyax looked at the stained glass in wonder as Sea Hawk went on a rant about how Mermista was like a summer's day or something along those lines.

"So, Izuku, what does it say?" Catra asked.

"Well, this is First One's writing. It says that 'the power of the Sea Gate must be recharged by magic through the focus of She-Ra's Sword of Protection'." Izuku read out loud, surprising Mermista, Loyax, and Sea Hawk a bit.

"Wait, you can read that stuff?" Mermista asked. "Wow, the boy scout is a multiple trick pony."

"Nice, we know what to do. Does the stained glass say how She-Ra did the whole recharging thing?" Catra asked.

"That's all it says, sorry." Izuku apologized. "Maybe there's more on the actual gate. It wouldn't hurt to check it out."

"You mean, this could actually work?" Mermista asked.

"We haven't lost a step yet." Izuku smiled back. "You may have your kingdom back soon." He smiled at Mermista causing her to blush a bit.

"Careful, pirate captain, your girlie is showing," Catra teased, causing Glimmer to giggle.

Back on the seas, Adora and her trusty task force were on the trail of the pirates that attacked the Horde ships. So far their work had led them to the Sea Gate where she guessed that it was where the pirates docked.

"Whoa, is that the Sea Gate?" Lonnie asked.

"It looks like it has a few holes," Scorpia pointed out.

"Now it makes sense, the pirates must be allied or working for the kingdom of Salineas to keep the supply ships away from the kingdom," Adora explained. "It would also explain how the pirates were supposedly able to control water."

"That's… actually very smart," Kyle scratched his chin. "So what do we do then?"

Adora looked at the legendary Sea Gate, the only thing that kept the Horde from getting to Brightmoon by sea. She knew that her mission was to face off against the pirates and test her task force, but she was being presented with a great opportunity. If Adora could break through the Sea Gate and not only capture the pirates but give the Horde a way into Brightmoon, she would be given the mission she wanted. Her and her task force would go into Brightmoon and rescue her friends once and for all. She turned to the laser cannon that her vessel was armed with before looking straight at the Sea Gate.

"We'll break through the wall," Adora ordered. "Everyone, prepare for battle."

Izuku and the group stood on top of a floating stone before the Sea Gate, looking for anything that could help them. As amazing as the Sea Gate was up close and personal, it didn't give them any information that they hadn't already found before.

"You see anything you like?" Mermista asked, teasing Izuku and Catra.

"There aren't any other writings here, sorry," Izuku apologized.

Catra noticed her sword was glowing. She unsheathed it before looking at a glowing star in the middle of the Sea Gate.

"I think I've got something." Catra said, holding up her sword. "For the Honor of Grayskull!"

Mermista watched in wonder and some amazement as Catra transformed before them. She was taken aback by the wonderful sight of the cat woman turning into a tall warrior woman with all matching assets.

"Wow, now that I was not expecting," Mermista said with a blush on her face.

"You haven't seen anything yet," Catra said, aiming her sword at the star on top of the Sea Gate. "I think this is what it needs." Catra focused the energy of the Sword on the tip, firing a blast to the Sea Gate.

The beam of light connected to the star, unleashing powerful waves of light that started extending through the Sea Gate. As more and more of the energy filled the gate, the holes started becoming smaller and smaller.

"Are you kidding me? That's all it took?" Mermista asked.

"I guess so," Izuku replied.

"Heck yeah! And without any problems," Bow cheered.

"Was there ever any doubt?" Catra asked, feeling like she could do this with her eyes closed.

However, as soon as Catra got distracted and the blast of light moved just a few inches away from the star, she was shocked by an electric blast.

Catra jumped back at the stinging feeling coursing through her body as everyone else watched the Sea Gate lose some of its glow.

"Okay, there might be more to this than what we thought," Catra groaned.

"At least, the Sea gate is looking better than before and no one is attacking it," Glimmer mentioned, only for a blast to clash with the Sea Gate.

"Great Scot! What was that?!" Loyax asked as they all turned around.

Sea Hawk pulled out a spy glass and looked at the Horde ship that had fired upon them.

"It's a Horde ship! They've come for revenge for us taking their supplies!" Sea Hawk declared. "Everyone, battle stations! Adventure!" She Hawk jumped from the floating rock towards the Dragon's Daughter 3.

"I knew it, he has no sense of self preservation," Catra commented.

"But we've got to help him," Bow said as he readied his bow and arrows. "Adventure!"

"Onwards then! Have at thee, Horde scum!" Loyax said as Izuku's body was covered in green aura and lightning.

"I'll get us close enough. Catra, see if you can finish charging the gate up!" Izuku jumped, taking Bow and Loyax with him towards the Horde ship.

Catra, Glimmer and Mermista watched as the four men rushed off into battle.

"Do they seriously think we will just stay back and let them have all the fun?" Catra asked.

"I don't know but I'm not staying back!" Glimmer said, teleporting after the group.

"You know that if you don't pounce on the green bunny I will, right?" Mermista asked.

Catra was slightly shaken by the sea princess' claim. But she decided to give her the same amount of lip.

"Get a number princess, I'm not letting him be anyone's toy but mine." Catra replied with a smile before jumping after her friends.

"Oh, I really hope my bed can keep up with me, her and the boy scout." Mermista jumped down into the waters, transforming her legs into a mermaid's tail.

Back on board the Horde's ship, Adora was looking at the Sea Gate as the last blast made it shake a bit, but it was still standing. She didn't know what that light had been before, but they had no time to waste.

"Lonnie, prepare to fire again! We're bringing down that gate today!" Adora ordered.

"Aye, aye, Adora," Lonnie replied with a salute.

Lonnie started pulling back the firing lever, allowing the cannon to charge up again. She turned to the aiming scope and prepared to fire another shot into the Sea Gate when suddenly, she spotted something. Her eyes narrowed for a second before looking at it again.

"Hey, Adora, something's coming this way!" Lonnie called out before an arrow struck the controls before her, covering them with goo.

Adora turned around to see Izuku, Bow and Loyax landing with a loud thud, ready to fight.

"Surrender now, Horde soldiers, lest you taste our mettle!" Loyax unsheathed his blade and assumed a combative stance.

"Get away from the controls!" Bow warned, preparing to fire another arrow at the controls.

Izuku's eyes landed on Adora and Lonnie, as theirs landed on him.

"Izuku? Is that… you?" Lonnie asked.

"Nice to see you too, Lonnie." Izuku turned to face Adora. "Adora, surrender now. There doesn't need to be a fight."

Adora pulled out her electric baton, narrowing her eyes at her former friend. She didn't know what the princesses had done to him, but she would not let them have him for another second.

"How about a counter offer? You come with us and I promise you that we'll help fix whatever those princesses did to you and Catra," Adora offered as her task force circled the group.

"Not this time, Adora." Izuku replied as his green aura flared up around his body.

Bow fired his arrow at the controls, causing a small explosion.

Izuku was caught off by Adora and her swinging electric baton.

Loyax swung his blade against Rogelio but was then interrupted by Lonnie.

Lonnie jumped down, pulling out her club and battle hatchet, forcing Loyax's battle with Rogelio to split up. As the battle tested Lonnie clashed blades with Loyax, she focused on quickly defeating the old man, forcing the old captain to keep his feet moving. Lonnie swung her hatchet against the blade, but the old man was better at parrying the attacks but not for long.

"Stand down, young lady. I do not wish to fight you-" Loyax began before Lonnie swung her leg knocking back him down.

"Sorry, old man. But this is it for you." Lonnie swung down her club.

However, Lonnie was stopped when a mighty roar caught her attention. She looked up to see Catra kick her away from Loyax.

"That's two you owe me, Loyax." Catra held up her sword to fight.

"And my gratitude knows no bounds for that, Lady Catra," Loyax replied, getting back into the fight.

Lonnie coughed at the sight of Catra as Bow and Scorpia fought behind her.

"Catra? Is that you?" Lonnie asked, looking at the tall and imposing body of her formerly dead friend. "What have they been feeding you?"

"Oh, hey Lonnie, I see you've moved up from training bras," Catra mocked. "Care to test those things against me?"

Lonnie smiled.

"Hope you don't feel bad, but this has been a long time coming." Lonnie charged at Catra, clashing her weapons against the tall cat girl.

As their blades clashed, Glimmer and Mermista joined the fight. Glimmer jumped down and blasted the controls, turning the ship away from the Sea Gate. Mermista came out from the water, smacking Rogelio out of the ship before charging at Kyle.

Bow rolled out of the way of Scorpia's stinger. He blocked her pincers as best he could before using his own bow to jump over the large woman. He saw an opening and fired another arrow at her, wrapping her stinger in a protective wrapping.

"Hey, I don't mess with your tail!" Scorpia snapped, picking up one of the boxes and throwing it at Bow.

"Sorry!" Bow apologized before Glimmer teleported him away.

Catra and Lonnie continued clashing blades one after the other. Catra's greater strength helped her push back Lonnie with ease, but the gladiator got in a few good hits, dropping her club and punching Catra in the face.

"Not bad, Lonnie," Catra replied.

Catra stabbed her sword down before punching Lonnie in the chest, breaking part of the armor. As Lonnie charged against her and the two girls traded blows, Catra grabbed Lonnie before flipping her onto her back. The new She-Ra grabbed Lonnie by the leg before sending her flying against Kyle, sending them both flying off the ship and into the water.

Meanwhile, Izuku and Adora were still fighting. Izuku kept his distance from the electric baton and did his best to block and counter, but Adora was just as skilled as he was. Every punch he threw, she blocked with either her armor or with her arms.

"Give up, Izuku, this doesn't have to be this way," Adora offered.

"We both know that's true, but you're fighting for the wrong side," Izuku countered, ducking under an electric shock from the baton. "Shadow Weaver and the Horde are using you. They are attacking people and killing innocents for the desires and mission of Hordak!" He threw a punch.

She caught his arm, trying to slam him into the hull of the ship. But he easily broke free, snatching the baton from her hand. Using One For All, he snapped the baton with ease as Adora pulled out a second one. As she swung the baton at him, Izuku jumped out of the way with great speed before grabbing her by the shoulder, reeling his right fist for another punch only to land the blow next to Adora's head.

"We're not the bad guys," Izuku exclaimed.

"Then why are you fighting alongside pirates and known rogues?" Adora questioned.

"They aren't as bad when you get to know them," Izuku chuckled sheepishly.

Adora used that chance to kick Izuku off of her. She jumped up to the ship's weapons, noticing how busted the controls were. She saw how the Alliance members, including Izuku and Catra, were coming towards her. In a last ditch effort, she spotted the controls of the ship and set them to go full speed ahead. Adora then broke the controls with her electric baton.

"Scorpia, everyone, abandon ship!" Adora called out, causing Scorpia to hit the lifeboats.

Adora looked back at her former friends for a brief moment before jumping off of the ship.

Izuku, Catra and the rest lost their balance for a moment as the ship charged at the Sea Gate.

"This thing is gonna crash!" Glimmer called out.

"How do we stop it?!" Bow asked.

Izuku rushed to the controls trying to make them move, but they wouldn't budge.

"The controls are stuck!" Izuku called out.

"Well, I'm open to suggestions!" Catra said as the Sea Gate got closer.

"Not to take away from this moment, but where has Sea Hawk gone?" Loyax asked.

"Does anyone else smell burning?" Mermista asked.

Everyone turned around as they heard Sea Hawk's laughter echoing towards them. Their eyes widened at the sight of the ship the Dragon's Daughter 3 set ablaze with Sea Hawk at the wheel.

"Adventure!" Sea Hawk called out in jovial cheer.

"Is he crazy?!" Everyone else screamed.

However, Glimmer saw a plan coming together.

"Mermista, can you make a big wave to make Sea Hawk come at us faster?" Glimmer asked.

"What? Yeah, of course," Mermista replied.

"Then do it! We're going to blow up this thing before it reaches the Sea Gate!" Glimmer explained.

"Glimmer, that is the craziest plan I've ever heard, but it might just work!" Izuku said.

"Let's do it!" Catra exclaimed.

Mermista held her trident forward while Izuku and Catra helped her keep her balance. She channeled her power into the waters underneath the Dragon's Daughter 3, making it pick up speed.

"Alright, now what?" Mermista asked.

"Jump!" Izuku guessed, picking up Mermista in a bridal style, making the blue-haired beauty blush.

"Hey, at least invite me to dinner first," Mermista teased.

Izuku, Catra, Mermista, Bow, and Loyax jumped out of the Horde ship.

Sea Hawk saw this from back at his burning ship.

"Huh? Where's everyone going?" Sea Hawk asked. "I just got here!" He added when Glimmer teleported next to him.

"Yep, and you arrived just in time. Adventure!" Glimmer cheered.

"Adventure!" Sea Hawk screamed in unison before Glimmer teleported them both off of the ship.

The Dragon's Daughter 3 crashed against the Horde ship, causing both vessels to explode into a massive fireball that both sides of the fight could see.

On one side, the heroes were picked up by a wave brought up by Mermista herself as they cheered for their victory. While on the other side, Adora and her task force watched in shock as the people they once thought of as friends had turned into warriors of the Princess Alliance and went back to Salineas.

"Let's go. We've got to report this," Adora instructed as the lifeboat's motor took them away from the area.

After a short swim, the members of the Alliance returned to the Sea Gate where Catra was once more trying to fix the damaged wall.

"Ready, Catra?" Izuku asked.

"Yeah, let's do this!" Catra aimed her sword at the star on the Sea Gate.

Catra focused She-Ra's power into the sword, firing a blast of magic. As the magical energy connected to the Sea Gate, she maintained focus on the star and the energy she was sending. Her eyes narrowed as the energy of the sword replenished the Sea Gate. Little by little, she could see the gate coming completely into a single piece.

"A little more, and there!" Glimmer pointed out as the Sea Gate stood proudly in all its glory.

The heroes stood before the Sea Gate as they saw the gate become whole once more.

"It looks amazing." Izuku gasped.

"Yeah, looks just like I remember," Mermista said, looking at Izuku and Catra with a smile. "I guess someone has to help make this place livable again for when people start coming back."

"Princess Mermista, would you consider joining the Alliance?" Glimmer asked. "We could help you restore Salineas and stop the Horde from ever coming back."

" Hmm. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal. Okay. I'm in," Mermista shrugged. "Besides, you have a super warrior that's really cute and a hot cat girl that turns into an eight foot tall knockout. Seems like a no-brainer to have them on my side."

Izuku and Catra heard that comment and couldn't help but blush at her words.

"But what of your crew?" Sea Hawk asked.

"I think they'll like you as their captain, just as long as you don't set the ship on fire," Mermista said, causing Sea Hawk to gasp in surprise. "But seriously if you set it on fire they'll hang you."

"I shall not disappoint you, my darling, sweet Mermista!" Sea Hawk said. "Adventure!"

"And just like that our little band of misfits keeps growing." Catra chuckled with smiles from the group.
