A chill wind blew above the cold rock of the Eastern Alps. Yet hidden deep within the stone and out of sight of inquisitive mountaineers and thrill seekers, was the lair of one of Team Possible's greatest foes; Professor Dementor.
As usual with his profession, he was plotting a campaign for world domination.
The diminutive villain was inside the main command room; a large circular room with data consoles of various functions arrayed in a semi-circle at the center, with henchmen manning them. Dim lights throughout the lair gave it a dark and moody ambiance. Dementor stood at the head of a low table, which displayed a holographic map of the local area. He was too deep in thought to notice another one of his henchmen come in.
A particularly annoying one who also happened to be his brother-in-law.
"So, BIL, what you got planned?"
Dementor breathed out an exasperated sigh. He loathed that nickname. Myron had always been so cheerful, even when he worked at the old family Strudel factory. His previous failure as his henchmen wrecked his second attempt to get the supersuit; by sending him to kidnap Stoppable and hold him hostage, only for Myron to kidnap Possible's cousin instead. He had promised to quit if the plan failed and go back to the factory, and as predicted it did, however, a few choice words from his dearest Hildegarde convinced him to give Myron a second chance.
"If you must know, I am planning on acquiring the ultimate tech! One that would turn my henchmen into an unstoppable army!" He said, pointing to the holographic map.
"Oh man, you still going on about that cool looking suit of Possible's? The one you tried to steal but failed miserably at?"
"I AM WELL AWARE OF THAT FAILURE!" Dementor yelled, his body rigid with rage.
"Woah, bro, calm down!" Myron said, speaking in a calm and soothing manner. "Take a deep breath and release that negative energy, man!"
Pinching the bridge of his nose, Dementor reluctantly took in a deep breath, held it, then exhaled slowly.
"Better?"
"I swear, if my dearest little sister didn't marry you, I would've...," Dementor started to mutter, taking in another cleansing breath to calm himself. "Okay, I'm calmer now! You happy?"
"Well, now that you asked, I am feeling happy!" Myron said, with a big smile on his face. "The thing is, your sister and I..."
"That was a RHETORICAL QUESTION!" Dementor interrupted, returning to his work.
"Oh, come on, why still go after the suit? I mean, you got plenty of cooling looking stuff you bought, stole or invented!" Myron began listing it on a hand. "You got Spinning Tops of Doom; Zorbs of Doom; that Flamingo of Doom you got from that auction in Go City! I even seen those old toys Drakken had when he was in charge of Bueno Nacho! Come to think of it, quite a lot of villain tech ends with the word 'doom.' I mean, does the word 'doom' have some kind of significance for bad guys or is it some kind of..."
Dementor's eye twitched dangerously, as he glared at his brother-in-law with barely restrained anger.
"Please... stop with the talking!" he growled, a vein bulging in his forehead. "It is true that I have accumulated enough technology to conquer a small nation, but the only thing I lack for my collection is KIM POSSIBLE'S SUPERSUIT!"
He began pacing around, his tiny fists clenching and flexing.
"It taunts me in my dreams! The one thing that eludes me! If I had it, I could duplicate it for my own army! Imagine as legions of supersuit soldiers effortlessly take down my enemies! Global Justice! The European Alliance! Even Team Possible itself won't be able to stop me!"
"So, you going to break into her place and steal it again?"
"Ha, you would think it so simple, but no!" Dementor said, showing a scan of the Possible home. "Ever since that Fraulein left for university, Possible was smart enough to have the suit moved to a secure location! Where exactly, I do not know! What I plan is to create a situation where in order to stop me she will be forced to wear that suit! Then I'll use a jamming device to render it useless, while surrounding her with my most dangerous robots and capturing her!"
"Brilliant as always, BIL," Myron praised, his smile then turning into one of confusion. "But if you use a jamming device, then won't all your stuff get messed up too?"
"No... it won't," Dementor grinned.
He punched up data on the holo-table, which showed complex looking blueprints too difficult to comprehend except for someone of his intellect.
"I've devised a new type of system that would allow any technology to function while a jamming device is active. It's called Polaric Layered Omni-Telemetry; P.L.O.T. for short. I've installed this upgrade into the Diablo's armor!"
Myron couldn't help but snicker. "Dude, did you seriously make Plot Arm..."
"I am well aware of the irony behind the name!" Dementor interrupted. "Enough of your jokes! I am through with the explaining and everything! Mark my words, I will soon have that SUPERSUIT!"

KIM POSSIBLE: FINAL MISSION
-Chapter I-
Complications
It was fairly quiet at the dorms of Go City University, as most of the students were confined to their rooms amid the outbreak of a stomach bug; nothing too serious, but enough to make people physically sick. There were a few who were immune or hadn't caught it yet; Kim herself was sadly not one of the lucky ones.
She was on her bed, laying on her stomach and still dressed in her PJ's, with her bare feet idly kicking the air and her eyes glued to her laptop as she worked on her essay for class. Her side of the room was decorated with memento's of her hero career, along with framed photos of family and friends in Middleton. Her roommate side however was decorated with iconic rock and heavy metal bands, with a Gibson Firebird resting by the base of the bed.
It came as a surprise when Kim announced to her parents she was going to Go City U; even more of a surprise when she admitted that Shego actually inspired her career choice.
Back when Shego was turned into Miss Go by the Attitudinator, Kim learnt a lot about her and her passion for teaching. It was something she could respect and even picture doing herself someday. With that in mind, she signed up for the same Child Development course that Shego took all those years ago.
It wasn't easy at first, since Ron had chosen to go to the Culinary Institute of America California campus; making their relationship a long distance one. They still kept in touch and met up for dates when they could, as well as returning to Middleton for the holidays and such. Then there were the missions, which seemed to occur less frequently but were also a good opportunity to see Ron again; although fighting bad guys hardly set a romantic mood.
She had just finished her paragraph about the consequences of improper behavioral boundaries for pre-teens when her stomach lurched. Kim let out a groan, scrunching up her face as she fought a battle she knew she would lose. Unable to hold it any longer, she leapt from her bed and made a mad dash to the small en-suite toilet.
Her roommate, Melinda Carlyle, set the rock music magazine she was reading down and got up to check on Kim, hearing her throwing up down the toilet. She was dressed in her usual grey crop top with open lavender checkered shirt, black ripped jeans and worn converse shoes. She was lightly tanned, with blue eyes and short brunette hair that had a dyed two-toned lavender-blue stripe. On her left arm was a tattoo of her grandfather's Fender Stratocaster, with his birth and death dates as a memorial.
She was the first new student Kim met on her first day at Go City U. When Kim went to her assigned dorm room, she saw Mel had already made herself at home; rocking out to Black Sabbath's Paranoid.
"Hey, just moved in. You cool with this?" was the first thing Mel had said, followed soon by "Oh crap! Kim Possible?"
Turned out that Team Possible had saved Mel and her family during a previous mission to Nebraska; where an experiment to make cattle obedient via a telepathic device caused a mass stampede. When Mel's little sister got hurt, Kim personally took her to the local hospital once the danger was over.
Since reminiscing about that day, they been firm friends ever since.
Hearing Kim vomit again, Mel grimaced at the sound before gently knocking on the door.
"Yo. Kimbo? You good?" she asked.
"I'm... ugh... fine," Kim coughed. "Little tired, but fine."
Flushing the toilet and washing her hands, Kim returned to her bed and sighed as she flopped down on it. Mel went over and felt Kim's forehead. A little warm, but not really hot.
She then went into the small bathroom and soaked Kim's washcloth under the cold tap, rising it and returned to her, gently placing it on Kim's forehead.
"Better?" Mel asked.
Kim smiled gratefully.
"Better."
Mel then opened the mini fridge by her bed, stocked with a few soda's and mineral waters; along with a few cans of beer she kept covertly hidden. Taking a bottle of water out, she tossed it to Kim. Kim took a few sips, hoping her stomach would settle.
"You are so lucky to have not caught this!" Kim sighed, a hint of jealousy in her voice.
"Relax, it'll pass. It's probably some kind of 24 hour thing." Mel sat down on her bed, picking her magazine up. "Good thing it's the weekend. I'm sure you'll be okay come Monday."
"I really hope so! I been behind on this essay for a week, thanks to that sitch with Drakken!"
Despite receiving a pardon for their efforts, Drakken and Shego returned to villainy three months later; although the dynamic between them changed. After some romantic tension they began dating, eventually getting married last year. Since then it had been business as usual, with Drakken coming up with crazier schemes.
The sitch Kim had been referring to was an attempt to rule the world by hacking into self-driving cars and turning them into his private army. On the plus-side, they got to take down his plan pretty easily since Shego was away for a personal errand. The downside was it cut into much of Kim's schedule.
"You seriously need to dial it back, Kim," Mel said, sounding concerned. "You been doing a lot of stuff for other people; that charity event at the hospital, reading to kids at the book fair, being captain of the cheer squad. Need I go on?"
"It's no big, I just like to help people," Kim said, as she went back to her essay. "Besides, I been doing this for almost three years and graduation is two months away. This workload won't be for long."
"Fine, but you are due a nice vacation after this! I mean, when was the last time you had a date with your BF?"
Kim glanced at the photo of Ron by her bed, her fingers gently tracing his jawline.
"Well, not including our missions, the last time we had a proper date was roughly over a month ago," Kim admitted, smiling as she thought back to that day.
Ron pulled a lot of strings to make their date the most romantic, and Rufus spent time with Team Go to give the couple privacy. They took a tour of the city, visiting the most popular spots; the botanical gardens, the museum of natural history, the Go Theater where Mego worked, even the local Club Banana. After buying her some new clothes, Ron then treated her to dinner at Bella Fortuna; the most prestigious Italian restaurant in the city. It turned out that one of Ron's tutors had called the restaurant on their behalf, as the head chef was an ex-student; who in turn managed to get them the best table in the restaurant.
Afterwards, they discreetly returned to Kim's dorm room for a little privacy, which lead to what she had to admit was the best part of their date.
"Kim? Kim! Yo, Earth to Kim!"
Kim was snapped out of her thoughts, looking at Mel who had a slight smirk on her lips.
"Oh... sorry! I-I wasn't paying attention," Kim said, a little flustered. "Uh, what did you say?"
Mel had an impish grin. "Thinking about the last time Ron 'Boo-yah'd' you?"
Unfortunately Kim was taking a sip from her bottle at that moment; Mel's comment making her spray out water in surprise. Fortunately she missed her laptop, but her bed covers weren't so lucky.
"Seriously, Mel?" Kim groaned with mock annoyance, her face turning red while Mel began laughing her ass off. "You are such a..."
"Relax, Kimbo! Not like I never brought my GF here while you were out!" Mel said, still sporting her smile. "By the way, your bed is really comfy."
"Funny, I was going to say the same thing," Kim shot back, with an equally playfully look.
The two friends burst out into peals of laughter. That was what Kim like about Mel; her wicked humor always brightened her day. It was at that moment the four-toned beep of her Kimunicator caught her attention, swiftly answering it.
Two video windows appeared. One beheld the face of Wade Load; fifteen years old, taller and putting on muscle. The other had her boyfriend, Ron; unchanged except for slightly tanned skin from the California sun.
"Hey Kim, uh... something funny going on?" Wade said, somewhat confused at the sight before him.
"Oh, hey Wade," Kim answered, as she got her laughter under control. "Sorry about that. Mel and I were just joking around. So, what's the sitch?"
"Something major is happening in Austria! I got an anonymous hit on the site warning that Professor Dementor is bringing out some major tech against local law enforcement! Shortly after that, international news feeds lit up about a huge attack! We're talking about stuff that police aren't equipped to handle, yet alone the army! Local Global Justice agents are on the scene, but he's holding them off pretty easily! Whatever he's got planned, it looks serious!"
Kim straightened up, automatically going into mission-mode. Out of all her villains, Professor Dementor was one of the more dangerous rogues. The last encounter she had with him was a few months back, in which he expressed disappointment when she arrived without the battlesuit. Seems he's now trying to step things up and get her to bring out the big guns.
"This is obviously a ploy to force me to wear the battlesuit," Kim figured, rolling her eyes.
"Isn't it creepy that Dementor is so fixated on your high-tech wardrobe, KP?" Ron said.
Mel shrugged. "Maybe he's got a thing for women's clothing?"
"Oh man, that's something I don't ever want to picture!" Ron shuddered, suddenly crying out as he clasped his head. "WAH, TOO LATE!"
Suppressing her laughter, Kim maintained her focus. "It has been a while since I last wore it. I'm guessing you made some upgrades?"
Wade took a sip of his soda, nodding.
"Read me like a book, Kim. Although I can't make it hack-proof, I did manage to install a biometric code. Basically, only you alone can wear it now. If someone else puts it on and tries to use it, let's just say they'll be in for a shock."
"Talk about being a fashion victim," Kim joked, as she looked at Ron. "You up for this, Ron?"
"A trip to Austria and a chance to kick Dementor's butt? You bet I'm in!" Ron said, fist pumping the air. "Hey, maybe we can get some sight seeing after we're done!"
"Even with the battlesuit, I recommend bringing extra back-up just in case," Wade suggested.
"You got a point," Kim said. "Team Go does owe us some favors. I'll call them and see if they are available."
Wade's hands quickly punched in commands on his computer.
"Got GJ transport en-route to Ron's location. Once he's picked up, it'll stop over at Go City to collect you and Team Go, if they're coming that is. I'm also sending a drop-rocket with your battlesuit. It'll arrive in about half an hour."
"See you soon, KP!" Ron said.
Kim smiled, blowing him a kiss. The screen went dead as the com-link ended.
Mel, despite her usual carefree demeanor, had a concerned look on her face as Kim started to get changed into temporary mission gear.
"I can't believe you're seriously going on a mission! Did you forget about throwing up?"
"I'll be fine," Kim assured her, as she pulled her top on. "I once went on a mission when I had a very bad cold, and I was in way worse condition back then."
"Are you serious?" Mel was astonished.
"It wasn't too bad, well, except for the part where I fought Shego," Kim cringed at the memory. "While we were grappling, I sort of... sneezed in her face."
"Well, try not to spew in Dementor's then!" Mel retorted, standing up and going over to Kim. "Just be careful, okay roomie?"
Once she finished tying her sneakers, Kim hugged Mel goodbye.
"I'm always am. I'll be back soon."
Breaking the hug, Kim turned and left the room.
Ron sighed, finishing watching a movie on his Ronunicator while he waited at the designated spot. It wasn't the usual sort of movie he was into; a chick-flick. Yet he started watching them to get an insight into something he wanted to do for some time.
He just got to the part of the big finale of the movie, between the main character's Charles and Janice, where they finally reunited at the same coffee shop where they first met, after Charles skipped his all too important business meeting.
"Oh, Janice... you make me the happiest man in the whole business of international generic cafe stores!" Charles said, getting down on a knee and bringing out a ring. "Will you marry me?"
"C-Charles, I... I will!" She cried.
The patrons went wild with applause as the ring went on her finger, followed by the most sappy musical score as the two kissed. Then the ending credits began to play.
"Oh dude, that sucked so hard!" Ron let out an exasperated groan, his shoulder's dropping as he rolled his eyes. "I seriously wasted ninety minutes of my life for that? The production value was awful! You could clearly see the boom mic in that dream sequence!"
Rufus agreed, making loud gagging noises. He pressed the touch screen, giving the movie a 1 star rating.
"Couldn't have said it better myself, little buddy!" Ron muttered, petting Rufus on the head. "Although, I do admit that proposing where they first met was a good idea. Maybe I could do that?"
Rufus nodded his head in agreement.
"Okay, that's another idea for the list," Ron said.
He opened a saved file titled 'The Shopping List' (He had to name it something inconspicuous) and typed the new idea, which was just below 'Skydiving Proposal.' He then reached into his cargo pants pocket, taking out a small black velvet box.
For the longest time he had wanted to propose to Kim, and the only other person clued in on the idea was Kim's father. When Ron returned to Middleton for a weekend visit, he stopped by the Possible's and spoke with James in private; who, although taken aback at first, was happy that Ron wanted to make that commitment and gave his blessing.
Now all he needed to do was come up with the perfect way to pop the question. Kim deserved that much and more.
"I know Kim needs to focus on her studies, so I still got until graduation," Ron said, resting his chin on his hand. "Then I'll hit her with the most ronmantic proposal in the history of proposals!"
From overhead he could hear the whine of approaching jet engines growing into a loud roar, as a new top-of-the-line GJ hoverjet arrived and landed ten feet from Ron. Quickly pocketing the box, Ron approached the jet as the side door opened.
Once he was aboard, Ron approached the cockpit to thank the pilot.
"Hey, thanks for the ride buddy! I..." He paused, recognizing a very familiar face. "No way! Agent Du, is that you? Hey, that rhymed!"
Despite the years since he last saw him, Agent Will Du still had his dark hair short and neatly styled; wearing a well kept GJ mission suit. Remaining stoic as usual, Agent Du simply responded with, "Sidekick."
"It's Stoppable. Stop-pa-ble! Come on Will, I'm like a household name ever since I kicked Lowardian butt!"
"Just... sit down," Du sighed, with great restraint. "And please address me as Agent."
Slipping into the co-pilot seat, Ron folded his arms behind his head.
"So, how you been?" Ron said, in his typical Ronnish attitude. "Still GJ's number one agent?"
This time Du was unable to contain his annoyance.
"What are you doing?"
"I thought'd I'd sit up here with you, y'know, keep you company!" Ron said, in a friendly manner. "It's been ages since I last saw you!"
"Listen, sidekick," Du said, keeping his tone a civil as he could. "I may have agreed with Dr. Director's order to take you, Possible and Team Go to the mission, as well as provide you with additional support! However, I draw the line with you sitting in the co-pilots seat! As of right now, school bus rules apply!"
"What do you mean by..."
Du, losing his patience, pointed to the thin black line that separated the cockpit and the main cabin.
"BEHIND THE LINE! BEHIND! THE! LINE!" He yelled, reminding Ron of the old school bus driver for Middleton High.
Ron raised his hands peacefully, slipping out of his seat and slowly backing away. Du's eyes remained fixed on Stoppable, watching him take a seat that was further back and buckling up. Breathing out an exasperated sigh, Du returned his attention to the controls and began prepping for takeoff.
"Still as friendly as ever," Ron whispered to Rufus.
Kim waited for the hoverjet to arrive at Team Go's base, during which her improved battlesuit arrived via rocket pod; along with a bonus care package of home baked cookies from her mom. Hego let her use Shego's old quarter's to change, which she quickly did so.
It was like slipping into an comfortable blanket, zipping the suit up and admiring her reflection in the wall mirror. She still looked good in it.
Before she left the room, Kim took a moment to study the decor which remained largely unchanged since Shego departed the team. A shelf held awards and trophies of high school accomplishments; such as regional cheer rally's and academic studies. She also spotted something tucked away behind the bed, and after pulling it out, Kim couldn't help but smile at the cute Seal-Kitty Cuddle Buddy.
"O.M.G! You are so adorable!" Kim cooed, feeling how soft it still was.
Making sure she was still alone, she cradled the toy in her arms, enjoying the softness against her cheek. She then noticed a faded small name tag, hand written by a small child: 'Snuffles.'
Kim never imagined that Shego was secretly a fellow Cuddler. Boy, was she so going to mention this the next time they met.
Placing 'Snuffles' gently on the bed and giving it one last affectionate pet, she rejoined Team Go in the meeting room. They passed the time talking until the hoverjet finally arrived, which landed at the lower hanger bay.
Soon they were en-route to the mission site; Du pushing the engines to maximum speed as soon at they hit the Atlantic. For the most of the journey things were pretty uneventful. Hego joined Agent Du up front, discussing strategies against Dementor. Mego passed the time with a fashion magazine, while the Wego's watched a movie with Rufus. Kim and Ron sat at the back, catching up on their lives at university and eating cookies.
For the most part Kim felt fine, until the moment they were ten minutes to the landing zone and were passing through some pretty bad weather. Normally turbulence was no big, but with the jolting and the rising and the falling, Kim felt the nausea creeping back. Ron was the first to notice as Kim started to tremble, her face turning pale.
"Woah, KP, are you okay?" Ron asked.
Kim was about to say she was fine when she felt bile rising, clasping a hand over her mouth. Darting out of her seat, she raced to the small toilet at the back and soon everyone heard her throwing up.
"Is Kim alright?" one of the Wego's asked.
"I don't know," Ron said, sounding worried.
He got up from his seat, going to the door and gently knocked. He heard the toilet flush, Kim soon stepping out and looking quite embarrassed.
"KP? What's wrong? Are you sick?" Ron asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"I'm fine," Kim said, clutching her stomach. "Just some stomach bug I caught on campus. No big."
Ron helped her back to her seat, placing a hand on her forehead to check her temperature.
"Why didn't you say something earlier? You could've sit this one out!"
"Just because I'm feeling a little under the weather, doesn't mean I'm entirely out of commission," Kim said, trying to argue her point. "Look, if it makes you happy then I'll have Wade run a quick med-scan on me. If he thinks I'm not fit for duty, I'll sit this mission out on the hoverjet. Agreed?"
"Agreed," Ron said.
Opening a com-line to Wade, he appeared on screen.
"Hey guy's, how can I help?"
"Wade, can you run a quick med-scan on me, please and thank you?" Kim said.
"Is something wrong?" Wade asked.
"Yeah, KP was just sick in the bathroom," Ron explained. "Something about some bug going around at her university. Wants to know if you think she's cleared for this mission."
"No problem. Running the scan now," Wade said, typing in commands. "I'll get the results back in a minute."
The screen went dark.
Wade Load leaned back in his chair, taking a sip from his soda cup. He kept a close eye on the screens; one showing the live broadcast of Dementor's attack, the other currently displaying the med-scan of Kim. He wasn't surprised at Kim keeping quiet about being sick, having done so a few times before but he learned to roll with it.
After the scan was complete, he reviewed the data.
"Huh, just a common Norovirus," Wade said to himself, further reviewing the data. "Immune response is strong, so I don't see any reason for her to..."
He paused mid-sentence, completely frozen on the spot as the med-scan additionally detected an increase of hCG in her blood and urine, along with a presence of Progesterone. He took another sip of soda, just as the screen then displayed an ultrasound taken by the suits sensors, having detected another physical change.
He suddenly gasped, the soda going the wrong way down and causing Wade to cough, spraying the screen as he spat out his drink in surprise.
Back on the hoverjet, Kim sat with her arms crossed, waiting for an answer. The Kimunicator rang, swiftly answering it.
"So, what's the prognosis, Dr. Wade?" Kim joked.
Wade just stared blankly at them. Kim and Ron looked at each other, returning the attention to the screen; concerned about Wade's behavior.
"Yo, Wade? Is she cleared for the mission or not?" Ron asked, snapping his fingers. "Helloooo? Wade? Is the screen frozen or something?"
Clearing his head with a shake, Wade took a deep breath.
"Uh... Kim, there's...uh...there's something you really need to see," he said, as if fearful of how Kim might react.
Anxiety gripped Kim's heart like a vice, as she had never seen Wade look like that before. Whatever it was, it was serious.
"S-Show me," Kim said, afraid of what was to come.
The screen then changed to an image of an ultrasound; further enhanced for higher quality. Moving their heads closer to look, Kim and Ron studied the image before them. Ron's hand tightly gripped Kim's, his jaw dropping in total shock. Kim clasped a hand to her mouth, breathing hard as her eyes brimmed with tears.
What they saw was the clear image of a four week fetus.
Here's a new story that I wanted to do for some time.
I also do note the irony of this story having a similar theme mentioned in a earlier story I wrote (A Very Possible Nativity) for whitem's Third Annual Snow Daze Holiday Story Contest; where it briefly mentioned that Kim discovered she was pregnant while she and Ron were on a mission to stop Professor Dementor. Can't believe I wrote that old story back in 2012! Anyway, the only difference in this story is the scheme which they are trying to stop.
I got the second chapter ready, which is currently pending a few last minute edits before publishing, with a third and final chapter still to be finished.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this tale and feel free to leave a review. I appreciate the feedback.
