"What is this?" Piper asks, staring around wide eyed, incredulous. One minute she'd been backstage, preparing for her match later that night, the next a purple flash of light had blinded her, a strange device floating in front of her. She'd stared at it for tense moments, almost expecting it to explode in her hands. But it hadn't gone anywhere or done anything so she'd gingerly curled her fingers around it and held it close, confused.

Chelsea had a strange, knowing look on her face when she'd seen it and drew Piper over to a dark hall, waving her off. "Go on," she says. "They'll lead you to where you need to go."

Piper had looked up to find DIY and Wade Barrett standing in front of a monitor, blinking at her in confusion. And so, she'd ended up here, in this weird world she's never even known about before this day.

"It's called the Digiworld," Gargano offers. "It's created from data from our world. The data can form land, or creatures, and depending on the data, the digimon can be data, vaccine or virus type. Data are generally peaceful digimon, vaccine are good, but the virus digimon can be evil."

Piper frowns, looking down at the little purple creature blinking up at her from her feet. "So what is this little guy?"

Johnny and Tommaso look down. "Oh," Tommaso says. "That's your partner. They'll help you out in battles around the digiworld. Keep you safe. Stuff like that."

Piper frowns. "Battle?"

"Yeah, sometimes the digimon have to fight to defend other innocent digimon, or try to keep the destruction caused by virus digimon to a minimum," Tommaso explains. "It can be kind of a mess around here."

"I see," Piper says, leaning over to scoop the small purple creature up. "So what's your name?"

"Dodo," he says, blinking up at her. "Do- do do..."

"Dodo," she says.

"It's probably 'Dodomon'," Gargano offers. "He's a baby digimon, so he won't talk much until he digivolves."

"Do what now?" Piper asks, growing more enamored as the little digimon nuzzles into the palm of her hand.

"Digivolve," Ciampa takes over with the explanation. "He'll grow bigger and stronger, be able to fight better."

"Hm," Piper says, stroking the little guy on top of the head. "Interesting. I see I have a lot to figure out and learn about this place."

"We'll help you where we can," Johnny says with a small smile. "And there are others here too, from Raw and NXT. AEW and TNA, as well. So feel free to ask any of us anything when you need to."

Piper nods. "Thank you," she says, still staring down at her new partner, absorbing all of this.
