Sidney Akeem sips slowly from a bottle of water, his eyes closed as he moves to the music coming from his headphones. He's just finished a workout and he's feeling pleasantly sore, his breathing slow and steady as his body cools down. Everything feels normal... until it doesn't.

Things fall silent, a little creepily so, and he frowns, pulling his headphones off and looking around. His phone is sitting next to him, but there's still no sound. "What the hell?" he mumbles, realizing he's no longer sitting on the steps outside of the gym he frequents. "Where am I?" he mutters, standing up and looking around. He's standing in the middle of a field of grass, completely alone. "Well, this isn't creepy or anything."

He shakes his head, looking around. After as many years as he's been in the wrestling business, he's kind of used to things being weird, but this is weird, even for him. He turns in a slow circle, trying to figure things out. "No cities? What the hell is this place...?"

"It's the Digiworld," a deep voice says behind Sidney and he jumps, startled. He turns and looks, just to find no one standing behind him. "Look down," the voice says and Sidney looks down at the small child staring up at him with wide blue eyes. He has a hat on, goggles pressed into the brim, and too large clothes, his sleeves hanging down his arms.

"Who are you?" Sidney wonders with a frown, examining him.

"I am your partner," the child tells him. "My name is Offmon."

Sidney frowns harder. "Excuse me?"

It takes some explaining. More confirmation of what this Offman has been talking about for the last ten minutes comes when a digivice appears in Sidney's hand and he blinks, completely confused. "I don't even know what to say," he mumbles, looking down at Offmon. "We're partners?"

"Yes." Offmon smiles up at him. "I think you're stuck with me now."

Sidney blinks and adjusts his hair nervously. "Well, this is interesting," he murmurs.
