This little chapter is supposed to be a parody of a classic movie at the time of writing this.
This takes place in an alternate universe where the children are old enough to walk around and it may be outdated when the character used in this one-shot actually gets shown in the series with a different personality.
… Also, I hate Charlastor… No, I'm not gonna explain why I said that just now.
(Hell)
It was a peaceful day in Hell… well as peaceful as it could get anyway, but it was peaceful in the nearby park and Ash had decided to take his children over there. Being that Hell was technically their home as well, he wanted them to spend some time getting used to the home of their grandparents and one of their mothers.
"Careful, sweetheart." He laughed as his daughter was bouncing happily while holding his hand and giggling. "Haha, so full of energy."
His older son was walking close while holding the same hand as his little sister and his youngest son was in his arms, fidgeting a bit as he wanted to get down. His sons' halos were being held by their mother as she didn't want to worry about what'd come if any demons saw it, and Ash was wearing his disguise with casual clothes.
"Okay, let's stop here." He says as he kneels and puts down his other son as his kids flock in front of him. "Phew, been a while since we came down here, huh?"
"Papa!" Aurora called while hugging him.
"Yeah, haha." He says while hugging her back. "That's right, Aurora." He says before seeing his younger son trying to climb on the bench and help him, before seeing him try to put his mouth around the armrest. "Ah, ah, no Aaron. That's not food." He says as he pulls the little angel away and sits him down. "Don't go putting your mouth on things, son." He says before giving him a lollipop.
As he was tending to his daughter who wanted to ride on his shoulders, they were unaware of a certain someone watching them.
"How are you doing, Levi? You like your ducky, bud?" Ash asks as his older son clutches the rubber duck close to him. "Keep that duck safe. When you get bigger, you're gonna need to keep your brother and sister safe one day." He says as the boy starts bouncing a bit while smiling. "Okay, come on, let me ya fight."
Levi then set his duck down before he started waddling towards his father while slowly swinging his arms, making the man laugh at his poor attempts at punching.
"Okay, we're getting there. Let's try again." The man says before his son jumps at him. "No, dangit, Levi-"
"So, disappointing when they don't grow up the way you want them to." He heard a familiar voice and sighed in annoyance.
If it was anyone else, he'd pretend they weren't even there, but it wasn't just anyone else. It was the ex of one of his wives.
"Oh, come on, Sev." Ash says as he stands up with Levi in his arms. "You're not challenging me again, are you?"
"Look on the bright side, Earthling. After I defeat you and take over as the King of Hell, you'll have more time to spend with your pathetic little halfbreeds." Seviathan says with a massive amount of smugness in his tone.
Ash's eyes flared for a moment from how he talked about his children, thankful that they didn't seem to understand what he said, apart from Levi who looked at his father in concern.
"... Before I kick your ass, let me ask you." The man says while removing his disguise. "Why do you even want to be King of Hell?"
"I'm better looking, I have better hair, I'm deceivingly smart, I'm heir to the most powerful Overlord in Hell…" Seviathan listed before looking up at him. "And I'm not a peasant mortal who knocked up a Heavenborn and one of our kind."
If Ash had rolled his eyes any harder, they'd pop out of his head. "You really think Charlie is gonna take you back with that crap?"
"Well, better me than a lowlife morty like you or a filthy angel like that moth bitch."
Ash didn't show it, but now he was seething inside. First, this asshole had the nerve to mock his kids, and now one of his wives. He just took a deep breath and sat down his son next to his other and got his duck for him.
"We'll fight on three." Seviathan started. "One…"
"Pay attention, kids…" Ash says while setting his daughter between them as the demon attempts to sneak. "Daddy's gonna show you how it's done." His eyes then darted back.
"Two, THREE!"
Seviathan tried to jump the man, only for Ash to tackle him into the bushes and start beating the demon to a pulp. Aurora was distracted by a butterfly that landed on her nose, making her giggle. Aaron looked excited and started swinging his tiny fists in the air, copying his father's punches while enjoying the cries of pain from the other guy. Levi was watching in astonishment, but also amazement.
Ash now had Seviathan pinned down by his face while holding his arm behind his back.
"Say it!"
"NO!"
"Say it!"
"NO!"
"Say it!
"FUCK! OKAY! OKAY! Uncle!" The demon yelled as the man eased his grip.
"Alright, now… who's the man?"
"Don't you fucking-" Seviathan started to say before he felt the grip tighten. "SHIT! YOU ARE!"
"And you better not forget it." Ash says while letting go and walking back to the kids. "Ya see kids? That's how you attack." The best he got for a response was his daughter giggling and his sons smiling.
