You know, I think I'm kinda getting my groove back a little.

I could not resist putting ORT in this story. Its boss themes were awesome and hyping me up every time I listen to them. Nasu wasn't kidding when ORT was the Secret Boss you're not supposed to fight.

Honkai Impact 3rd's Part I story is over and I'm feeling bittersweet nostalgia about the ending. I spent 5 years since it launched Global, loving these beloved characters of the game as the story grew on me. We Captains feel for our Moon Goddess finally graduating with tears. Kiana Kaslana-May you, the beauty of this world, always shine. TTvTT

The break of dawn was greeted with the sounds of metal clashing against metal, and Bete Loga was having the time of his life. His blood was pumping, adrenaline was high, and he finally found a worthy adversary. His opponent, Hakuno agreed to spar with him and he was extremely pleased by it. Of course she ditched the dress and veil for a different attire now.

Now wearing a blue long coat, a turtleneck and shorts, the girl was fighting with her katana-well, a different katana than the one he's heard melted Ais's Desperate.

No matter how many punches or kicks he gave her, the Holy Witch blocked or deflected it with her sheathed sword, looking bored. She wasn't even trying with him and while it pissed Bete off to no end, he did want her to take him seriously! "Don't look down at me!" the werewolf howled as he threw a punch with everything in it.

"Weak."

The punch that was infused with Bete's strength was negated by Hakuno's sheath before repelling him. Not once has she even drawn the lesser katana from its sheath and it pissed him off. It was as if she's treating him as a child that needed a handicap.

Ottar along with other members of the Freya Familia watched this spar from a distance and the King knew this wasn't even the full extent of her abilities. That memory of her against Saver still fresh on his mind, knowing that she is much more than this. She's holding back considerably and that is her being generous to the yapping pup in front of her. If she were to draw the blade, it would be to finish the spar, and Ottar knew it was drawing to a close soon.

"You're forgetting something, Loga-san." Hakuno calmly spoke up while casually blocking and deflecting Bete's attacks like they were nothing. "It's humility." she stated before ramming the tip of her sheathed sword into Bete's stomach to repel him. The werewolf actually felt it despite the fact he's a Level 5 to her Level 2. He was starting to understand just how Ais lost to the Holy Witch and she wasn't even using her magic for this fight as well.

"You are too used to being top dog with your familia that you have grown overconfident with yourself.'' She continued lecturing him. Whacking him with her sheathed weapon as it actually stung when getting hit by it. Not that Bete would actually admit it as he launched a series of kicks which Hakuno gracefully dodged.

"You…you're not a Level 2, are you?" Bete demanded, tense and cautious of his opponent now as Hakuno smiled softly.

"Under the Falna, I'm Level 2, but under a different leveling system I'm at Level 82." She admitted without shame as not just Bete, but other people spying on the fight widened their eyes or dropped their jaws. The few gods watching it confirmed she was telling the truth, all while Nero and Gilgamesh nodded their heads in confirmation to the worried members of the Hestia Familia that came to watch. Needless to say Bell and Ais couldn't help but admire their Captain even more now as Primo was now motivated to become one of the greatest mages of her generation. Even Haruhime and Lili who specialize in supporting their team couldn't help but feel impressed by such a level under a different system than the Falna, especially since they recalled Hakuno was formerly a Supporter in the past.

Monster

That was what one would call Hakuno right now with that kind of power, and worse yet she was merely holding back the whole time. Then she held the sheathed katana near her hip and got into a stance that sent warning bells in everyone's heads to instinctively duck and cover. The split second later, the sound of the sword unsheathing and cutting wind echoed through the area. "Too slow." she told Bete as she held the sheath horizontally, spinning the katana stylishly in her other hand before slowly sheathing the blade with an audible click. Then, trees, rocks and the ground itself slowly started to break apart as if cut by something sharp after a slight delay as Bete, while unharmed, was completely buck naked in front of everyone.

Several girls turned away or covered their eyes, faces bright red. Some were shameless looking at his muscles and checking out a few specs of his body like eye-candy. "Hm, not bad equipment I suppose." Hakuno said, cupping her chin in thought as Bete instinctively covered his private parts with his hands before dashing off towards his tent.

"I won't forget thiiiiiiisss!" the werewolf howled as he ran for dear life, his dignity turned for the worst as several guys were laughing at his misfortune.

"Fufufu…he wouldn't be able to get close to making you serious yet you decided to show off a bit Senpai." BB commented from the comms as Hakuno turned to leave with weapon in hand. "Eeeehhh~~? Are you imitating your Shishou now?" the AI pouted as Hakuno decided to humor her kōhai.

"That is none of your concern. This inconvenience…matters not." she answered in an aloof way in memory of her Sensei, Vergil.

Meanwhile, Jeanne Alter had recorded the spar on her communicator and spoke to it. "You saw that?" the Servant asked.

"That's absurd! It's a superior sword technique than Kojiro's Tsubame Gaeshi! And her Saint Graph readings were reading Level 95! She's on par with some of our Servants and she's still alive and capable of even further growth!" Da Vinci exclaimed from the other line. "She'll be on par with Morgan from the Sixth Lostbelt in due time, and Merlin wants us to ally with her?" the genius asked with disbelief as Jeanne Alter raised a brow at the Flower Magus's suggestion there. But she did see a point there.

"Better as an ally than an enemy. There is also the fact that Gareth is hovering over her like a mother hen for some reason." the Avenger noted as Da Vinci hummed in thought.

"I'll ask her brother Gawain about their relationship. We can't risk sentimentality to our task of restoring the Human Order. Keep an eye on Kishinami-san and learn as much as you can about this Lostworld." Da Vinci told her before ending comms.

Jeanne Alter looked at the retreating back of Kishinami, of her smiling with the Hestia Familia as it reminded her of something back in Chaldea. A warmth and joy that even in her murderous rage as an Avenger felt for. She sighed, understanding where Ritsuka was going when pruning Lostbelts, the feeling of destroying countless lives is a path to hell for the sake of their world, especially in a world where the God she believed in was dead.

On a darker note, she wondered how the other faithful would react to this tidbit of information. Would they suffer a moment of crisis in their faith? Will they despair that their omnipotent God was just as fragile as Pagan Gods? Well…it was a surprise to know that God had a wife, one not mentioned in any sermons she's heard (especially since the original Jeanne in life didn't know how to read to know the Bible) nor the fact she's the mother of all angels. Nor the fact a certain being was capable of being summoned as a Servant as a Ruler of all things.

Speak of the Devil and he shall appear. The Ruler Servant Helel was leaning on a tree nearby, looking at her with an elegantly raised brow. To think this holy being was to be the Devil her faith despised and feared for countless millennia for dragging their souls into damnation only to learn he's a victim of the Innocent Monster Skill at an absurd level.

She should have known better. Humans were always prone to sacrificing others as scapegoats. Angra Mainyu was turned into the source of all evil in the world by his people and was known as an evil god for his existence, and with Helel clarifying that several evil deeds of his were in fact done by other individuals that were pinned on him, made him even more tragic. As the world of Proper History is influenced by the beliefs of people, some Servants have been distorted by said beliefs and turned into monsters. Vlad III and Elizabeth Barthory being the prime examples of such. Such is the nature of memes, the DNA of the Soul. By preaching and teaching people the same thing over time, it turns lies into truths, and truths into lies. A twisted paradox full of irony, the Avenger could laugh and make a manga of it during summer.

With these revelations coming about, is saving Proper History even a good thing anymore? Was there a meaning to her existence at all? She, a fake to the original created by falsehoods of a deluded madman, had no right to exist in the first place. In fact, with the knowledge engraved into her head, the Avenger class Servants weren't supposed to exist yet here she is. She, a lie, became a living truth. And the fact now with Helel's wisdom was pushing her near the edge with murderous rage. She needed to go burn a church or two in this damn world to vent before her head exploded.

*Wodime*

"What brings you here Cassandra, former member of the Apollo Familia?" Wodime asked in his baggy farmer clothes as he was loading the crates of produce on the carts for the war against the Empire.

The young seeress closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "A vision." she said, making the blond man pause from his work and turned to her curiously. "The Day of ORT." she told him cryptically as the magus's eyes widened in both realization and recollection.

He recalled something that he forgot when he was reborn into this world…Daybit's plan for his Lostbelt should his own plan in Olympus fail. "...Fuck." was the only thing the magus could say in this situation.

[Regalia acquiring unknown data…]

[Memories from Pruned Timeline]

[Title: Day of ORT]

[Now loading…]

Hakuno blinked at the sudden message from the Regalia, and paled at the title's name. ORT, the Ultimate One of the Oort Cloud and one of the most powerful beings in this solar system alongside the other Types. She was warned of their possible advent in her original timeline due to the planet dying with the depletion of mana and was working with others in a successful plan to replenish the missing energy to revitalize the planet and prevent humanity's extinction.

When she drank the nectar from the [Tree] gifted to her by the Gardener and Winnower to mark her ascension, it showed her a timeline dubbed 'Notes' that described in vague senses of a doomed future that had once come to pass. There was no way humanity even in this world were even close to fighting the very planets themselves even if every monster, animal and god were to join forces.

This was a memory from herself in this alternate future, a warning of what would happen if this problem was not handled properly. She closed her eyes and let the fragments of her other self in this doomed timeline show her what happened. The details were there, set roughly a few years from this Lostworld's flow of time.

Chaldea was defeated and imprisoned for life for their heinous crimes by the people of this world.

Revelation of a final Lostbelt. The problem was ignored since the Tree of Fantasy was dead and the world was doomed to be destroyed on its own. The gods declared it to be a fruitless endeavor to investigate. She had reached Level 4, almost a Level 5 around that time and didn't bother to investigate it herself. In hindsight, she would immediately regret not investigating it back in the past because ORT of that Lostbelt broke into this world and began a murderous rampage.

She had been lax thinking only Chaldea as the threat when ORT proved her wrong. The lack of time in procuring the means of defeating ORT as it rapidly destroyed the world with its terraforming powers and countless dead at its might made counter attacks against The Spider useless. The Spider was for some reason pissed, that the memory could tell, and even worse, whenever it killed and consumed an adventurer, it took those skills and magic they've acquired from their Falna and used them as its own.

Everything this world threw at it, even the god's very Arcanium was ineffective against this absolute monster as it began eating the planet itself in its rampage. Hakuno herself died in one final stand with her Servants as she was disintegrated in cosmic storms ORT unleashed upon her for hurting it in Orario.

This death would happen in three days after ORT arrived in this Lostworld and most of the continent became a galactic hellscape for this nightmare from the stars.

Her other self flung a light for her so this dark future would not come to pass and someone she knew would have their memories sent back by Queen Morgan so they can work behind the scenes in getting key allies for the day ORT awakens. They have a few years in this world to prepare for ORT, and with that in mind, Hakuno recalled an old vision she had in the past in the Far Side.

Of Gatou summoning not Arcueid, but the humanoid Ultimate One of Venus in a diverted timeline where she'd have Nameless as her Servant. There was one weapon that could be their salvation and luckily, was recorded inside the Moon Cell's archives while observing the world—Black Barrel.

"Begin downloading the blueprint of the Black Barrel." Hakuno commanded the Regalia responding to the Sovereign's commands. She knew of one person capable of producing the item in question, but asking Asfi to do it under wraps, away from Hermes' divine gaze was gonna be tricky. The last thing Hakuno needs is that idiot god having the weapon mass produced. That is a nightmare, because the Black Barrel is one of the Seven Superweapons of Atlas, of Rani's home. These things are double edged swords with their incredible power so having one made is already risky. But if it means defeating ORT, then she'll do it.

Till then, she'll have several contingencies for ORT, including using Chaldea themselves to confront ORT. Since ORT will destroy the Earth like in her vision, they'll definitely be on board in preventing the Spider's awakening.

She will not fail in this timeline. She has things she wants to protect for the first time in her life, and she will not back down from this, even if it means dying to destroy ORT.

But first, she's got an Empire to crush.

[Omake! EXE. Transmission!]

"So Hakuno, what kind of Net Navi is yours?" Lan Hikari asked, looking at the highschooler's PET still in its holster on her hip.

"She's a close-combat and support type. I'm still working on installing a Buster weapon for mid-range. There's a few errors I still need to work on before I can install it." Hakuno answered her younger friend.

"Calling them errors is an understatement…" the voice inside Hakuno's PET responded before Hakuno pulled it out to reveal…herself? No, rather, her NPC from the Moon Cell that had gained sentience and was configured into a Net Navi for this world. Hakunon was what the Net Navi was called and had been enjoying life as a Net Navi with the fact she's able to interact with others both inside the cyber world and the real one.

They heard that somewhere in this world, there's a device that would allow Net Navis to walk in the physical world but was not developed yet. The duo decided to secretly help in funding the project and were pleased with the progress. Soon Hakunon would be able to play the 'twin game' with her human original and mess with the others for giggles.

"Say, how about a net battle for old time's sake? Me and my buddy Megaman are looking forward to fighting you this time!" Lan suggested with excitement in his voice as Hakuno raised a brow.

"You finally got your Custom Navi?" she had to ask. From her time teaching Lan how to net battle, he was using a normal default NetNavi to fight. Its general stats were average, but Custom Navis are superior in specs that make them important in helping bust viruses or in worst case scenarios, stopping villains from destroying society as a whole with their antics.

"Yup! Dad sent me a disk yesterday and Megaman was in it. We're both looking forward to battling you!" the kid responded excitedly as Hakuno smiled at that.

"Alright, then let's do this!" she responded. "Plug in, Hakunon EXE, Transmission!"

"Jack in, Megaman! Power up!"

With the return of Megaman Battlenetwork coming to consoles, and the anime itself released by Capcom on YouTube for a limited time, I had to do this small omake. My childhood cyber hero is back baby!
