So I'm giving Kraven the Hunter a slightly unique design that still stays true to his typical comic-book form. Hope you guys don't mind!
Episode 66: Hunting in Plain Sight!
From there, Peter explained the things he learned from Veneo while he was trapped in his own mind. While Professor Banner was excitedly taking notes, Nick Fury looked more concerned and Rhodes had a similar expression.
"And what about the costume?" Nick Fury said, after Peter finished talking. "You know vigilante justice is against the Sokovia Accords, right?"
"I know, but it's complicated," Peter said, looking over at the costume which was folded on a table next to his bed.
"Complicated is my middle name," Nick Fury replied. "Plus, I think your friends deserve to know what happened."
Peter looked over at Thor and MJ, the latter of whom still had her arms folded. Sighing, Peter said, "I was tricked into helping a thief steal one of the Infinity Stones for Hammerhead, who was threatening to hurt her. Then Black Panther showed up and thinking I was the thief he attacked me. But Hammerhead decided to steal the stone himself, there was huge scuffle, I got out with the stone, met up with the thief, then we talked our way out of some Nova Centurions who caught us, gave them the stone, and left the Nova Corps building."
"His story corroborates with what Prime Centurion Rider and Cadet Alexander told me when I questioned them earlier," Rhodes said to Nick Fury. "Based on their description, I think Black Cat is the thief Peter is referring to."
Embarrassed, Peter looked away from Nick Fury's stern eye. "Am I in trouble?"
"Technically, you didn't steal anything," Nick Fury said after a pause. "But you did aid a criminal and your Marémon caused significant damage inside the Nova Corps headquarters. Since you're a minor, though, I could turn a blind eye to these crimes if you promise to never aid criminals again — even by accident."
"Yes, sir," Peter nodded. "I will follow that promise."
"Then you don't mind if I burn your costume, since it might be taken as evidence by Nova Corps?" Nick Fury asked.
"Go ahead," Peter said. "I'm already embarrassed enough from wearing it."
"I hope that embarrassment is strong enough to keep your mouth shut about the whole thing." Nick Fury turned to everyone else in the room. "The same goes for all of you."
"We're good at keeping secrets," Thor proclaimed, while MJ nodded.
"All right, then give me the Infinity Stone you have," Nick Fury said, holding his hand out to Thor. "Natasha meant to give it to you temporarily, but she got occupied with interrogating Crossbones. So I'm confiscating it in her place."
"Understood," Thor said and gave Nick Fury a yellow stone that glowed briefly.
"Before I go, I have one more question to ask," Nick Fury said, gazing at Peter. "Do you know why Black Panther was at the Nova Corps Headquarters?"
"He said T'Challa sent him to get the Infinity Stone, which he lost," Peter said.
"Really?" Nick Fury looked intrigued as he pocketed the yellow Infinity Stone. "Looks like I'll be paying Wakanda City a visit."
Nick Fury then left quickly, much to everyone's surprise, and disposed of Peter's costume in a garbage can before taking the elevator upward. Once he was in an empty ward, his body became a skin-like cloth that disintegrated revealing a creature that resembled a chameleon with a white head, a red tie-like stripe down the middle, and blue scaly body. It put the Infinity Stone and Brock's PDB in its mouth before leaping into a vent and crawling its way to the roof where a towering man leaned against the hospital's roof entrance. He had medium black hair with a mustache, dark brown eyes, and wore a lion fur vest, braces made of Panthack fur, brown army pants, a baby Shieldsif tusk-lined belt, and Pyrma fur-lined boots. Behind his back was a retractable spear that had three PDBs attached to the shaft near the top.
"So you've come back, Kamelio," the black-haired man said in a thick accent, looking down at the chameleon-like creature. "Have you got the stone?"
Kamelio flicked its tongue toward the man, placing the yellow Infinity Stone in the man's hand.
"I would've preferred a less gross way of delivering the stone, but you have done well," the black-haired man replied, wiping away the saliva from the stone. "We shall contact Madame Hydra and tell her we've succeeded where Crossbones failed."
Once he determined the stone was as clean as it could possibly be, the black-haired man picked up a communicator and placed a call. On the communicator's screen appeared the silhouette of a woman sitting on a velvet chair in front of a tapestry with the HYDRA symbol on it.
"Madame Hydra, this is Kraven," the black-haired man greeted. "Kamelio and I have succeeded in retrieving the Mind Stone."
"Really?" said the woman on the other end. "Show it to me."
Kraven held up the yellow stone, which glimmered even in the darkness.
"What about the Power Stone?" Madame Hydra asked. "Did Black Cat get it?"
"Sadly, no," Kraven reported. "The Black Cat lost the Power Stone to a boy she duped into helping her steal it, and he gave the stone back to some Nova Centurions."
Clenching the arms of her chair, Madam Hydra hissed, "I knew we shouldn't have trusted that little thief to do the job for us. Hammerhead and Silvermane will pay once they get back here."
"I'm not sure if they will. Silvermane's helicopter was shot down by Star Blasters not long ago, and Hammerhead was captured by the Wild Pack just now."
"Ugh! Those Maggia fools are making us look bad! What about Ar-I and White Wolf?"
"They managed to get away from the Wild Pack, though Ar-I had to brainwash White Wolf and his Marémon a second time."
"Does that mean his influence is growing weaker?"
"Possibly."
"And do you have the creature that called itself Veneo?"
Kraven looked at Kamelio, who produced the PDB with Veneo from his mouth and flicked it into Kraven's hand.
"Yes, Madame," Kraven acknowledged, cleaning the PDB with his vest.
"Do you think we can use it for our cause?" Madame Hydra inquired.
"Personally, I believe Veneo is too unpredictable. It's clearly intelligent, and Marémon who can think will not obey."
Kamelio pouted upon hearing that.
"Except for you, Kamelio," Kraven apologized. "You're like a brother to me."
"But I do see your point," Madam Hydra said. "Have Kamelio return Veneo to Professor Banner, then proceed to intercept Black Panther before he reaches Wakanda City."
"Sounds like fun," Kraven grinned. "I'm sure he'll love my new braces."
