Chapter 4
On the 3rd floor of an apartment complex, just above an antique store. April O'Neil sat on her laptop, trying to do her homework. But she soon found it tedious, and was looking for a distraction. She thought more about this Daiki, something about this seemed strange to her, why did he have something against Splinter if he never met him?...
Out of pure curiosity, she searched, 'Morikawa' into the search bar. Unfortunately she didn't find anything useful, she thought back to what Splinter had said last night. and thought to try, 'Wild Fire, Japan'
And immediately an article came up from around 10 years ago, 'Forest Fire in Japan takes out entire village.' She clicked on it, scrolling through the article, picking out little details, till she found a list of fatalities. Scanning through, until she came across the familiar name.
Morikawa's.
But the word 'Morikawa ' was highlighted blue, so she clicked on it and was taken to a website completely in Japanese Kanji. She had to rely on her browsers translater to understand any of it, as Splinter was yet to teach her Kanji.
Underneath were names and pictures of many people, all in front of a house. Were these people all distant Morikawas like Daiki was?
She scrolled till she got to the bottom of the page. Were the last picture caught her eye. The house sat in the background of the image, was a Japanese style bungalow. But it had a staircase to the side of it, which lead to a second story. The entire house had Japanese styled windows and sliding doors. With a wooden sign above above the center doorway on the bottom floor, with black painted Kanji, '森川兵器' 'Morikawa Weapons'. Written on it. The bottom half of the building looked like it was the shop, so the top half must of been where the owners lived.
In front of it, stood three people in a row, all Japanese and in kimonos. On the right of the group, was a tanned young man, who looked to be in his early 20's, with neaty combed back brown hair and glasses. He looked forward into the camera, smiling, with calm mahogany eyes. He wore a grey and black patterened kimono with white accents, and had a very slender face.
Then, a tanned old man, probably in his 80's, was hunched over a cane at the left of the group, looking towards the camera smiling happily. Unlike the younger man however, he didn't have glasses on, and his eyes were closed, his hair was grey and almost entirely gone, except for some around his ears. He wore a simple dark green kimono, with white accents, and had a kind looking face. He had a gentle hand on the shoulder of the middle person.
Said person in the middle, was a short, pale woman, who looked to be around the same age as the first man, with long black hair, tied loosely into a side ponytail hanging off of her shoulder, was stood in the centre of the group. She had beautiful amber eyes, and was too, smiling into the camera joyfully. She wore a light purple kimono with white accents, covered in beautiful flowers. And had a very soft looking face.
But the thing that brought April's attention to the women, was that in her arms, was a young child, about 5 years old. With big mahogany eyes, and fluffy dark brown hair going in every direction. He wore a cute and simple purple kimono, which was only just too long for his short legs, and held what looked to be a plush toy turtle, and sat comfortably in his mother's arms.
She looked at the bottom of the picture afterwards to see a date. '5th of November, 2002' It was 2012 right now, which meant this picture was taken less then 10 years ago. 'Around 10 years ago was when the fire happened' April thought solemnly.
Underneath the image of the family was a short explanation of the shop, a very similar description to Splinters, and under that were the current residents of the shop:
'Morikawa Kenzo' Decreased
'Morikawa Genki' Decreased
'Morikawa Hana' Decreased
'Morikawa Daiki' Decreased
The chilling fact, was that Daiki was indeed on this list, but was also marked down as dead.
It explained about a wild fire that tore across the village and many others, killing many people, and destroying homes and businesses. Just like Splinter had said, Which included the shop. It stated that a 'Morikawa Kenzo' had died a few months prior to the fire of an illness, and that the three remaining Morikawas, perished in their home.
The remains of a 25 year old woman, and a 24 year old man, were found in the ruins of the burnt down home during the evacuation process. But no child was found. The police officials released, that the 5 year old child had probably of been burned at such a high temperature, that his remains could not be recovered.
April felt sick reading this. Reading about what had happened to this child... But this child was indeed Daiki, the description the guys gave her yesterday and this image of the family, (though a few years apart) matched! And he was very much alive!
She needed to show this to the Hamatos. So she printed out the image of the family, the names and the short description after it, to take to the Hamatos. And headed out of her small apartment to the lair.
April started her way though the street, towards the allyway that had a manhole cover over it, which led to the sewer lair. She kept thinking of what she had learnt about this Daiki guy. He was marked as dead? Did people really think he died in the fire? Does he know people think he died?
It was then that she felt something. She closed her eyes and listened. She was being watched.
She stopped walking and looked around frantically, something was near her. A shadow cast from the rooftops above, straight down in front of her, something not human... She started running as fast as she could. Not far behind her, the shadow was following. She bolted into the nearest building, and hid in a bank. Then as she looked outside to make sure the coast was clear, a giant mutant crashed into the glass window. April screamed at the sudden appearance.
It looked like a pigeon? But with the body of a man. The bird mutant slid down the window, into a heap on the floor. Standing back up to look at April, before flying off, cawing as it went.
April leaned out of the bank door and looked up at the sky, sighing sadly at the massive pigeon that was following her moments ago. "My life has gotten really weird."

"I'm telling you guys the truth! I really did hangout with Donnie yesterday!" Mikey yelled frustratingly at his siblings. "For the last time Mikey, it's Daiki!" Miwa shouted at her brother, slapping her head, "And you didn't hang out with him! You just ate our food!" Raph yelled back annoyed. Splinter, who had over heard the ruckus, came out to see the cause. Only to see his youngest son in distress about something that happened last night. "Michelangelo? What is going on in here?" He asked with raising concern.
Raphael, who had enough, decided to fill his father in, "Mikey seems to think that last night he and Daiki had some sort of 'bro time'? And that he what's to help us defeat the Krangg! When he clearly didn't! He's making up excuses as too why he ate the food on the way back" He replied angrily. "I'm not lying Sensei I swear!, I did see D, and he totally wants to help us!" Mikey begged to his father.
Splinter stood contemplating this for a moment, intrigued to know more, he was about to ask his son for a full briefing of last night, when- "Guys! Guys, you'll never believe what happened to me." April screamed into the lair as she came to be in front of the couches. "April, calm down. what happened?" Leo asked, helping the redhead sit.
"I am being hunted by a giant pigeon!" April said shakily.
Both Miwa and Raph burst out laughing, which quickly died down when they noticed no one else joining them, "Hahahha...we can't be the only ones who finds that funny." Raph asked between the tears. "Raphael! Miwa! Clearly April is upset." Splinter scolded before turning to said girl, "April, could you tell us what has happened?"
April took a breath in, nodding, trying to calm herself before explaining, "Well, I-I was doing my homework, and thought about our conversation last night, the one about the Morikawas? And I thought maybe I could help if I found anything useful about them? Which I did! So I left my house a couple of minutes ago to come straight here. Except for the fact that I felt like I was being followed. I look up and see this giant pigeon mutant coming straight for me! So I ran as fast as I could into the bank to get away from it, his talons were razor sharp! He would have torn me to pieces if he hadn't of slammed into the glass."
Raphael chuckled again quietly, only to have his head knocked, by Splinter's cane. "Hmmm lets deal with one problem at a time shall we?" The mutant said, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder
"What is it you found out about the Morikawas that was off importance?" He questioned, as April looked back up at him, "Oh, right! Here." She pulled out and unfolded 2 pieces of paper from her pocket, and handed them to Splinter, the three turtles as well as Miwa moved in closer to see the contents. The lair was silent for a moment as they all read.
"Wait so Daiki is actually Genki's son?" Miwa asked confused, "it would appear so." Splinter confirmed, "Though it stats here that Daiki Morikawa is deceased, and lost his life in the same fire?" Splinter said, raising his eyebrow in thought as he continued reading.
Mikey one the other hand, was still looking at the picture. With him being the only one to ever see Daiki's face, he was looking at the two young adults and comparing them to him. He looked just like his mother, pale with round chubby cheeks. But he had his father's eyes and brown hair, though his hair was darker. He smiled at the small looking Daiki, he seemed so happy back then.
"So now that we know that Daiki is in fact the weapon makers son, we just need to figure out why he'd blame you for something to do with them? Right?" Leo asked his Sensei, trying to connect the dots, "Mmm" Splinter hummed thoughtfully. "Though, as I stated yesterday, I hardly know his parents, as I was more acquainted with his Grandfather. If he does indeed hold a hated towards me for something he believes I may of caused, then I wouldn't have the slightest idea what that may be..." Splinters voice drifted off into an unusual silence, before he shook his head slightly and looked back up from the picture, pocketing it in his robe.
"But for now, we will leave this conversation here. As April has another issue we are to address?" He said looking at her. April nodded, still a little shaken. "Ah Don't worry, April, we won't let anything happen to ya." Raph said confidently, arms crossed. "Raph's right. We're gonna set a trap for this pigeon-man and make sure he never bothers you again." Leo said, hoping to comfort her. "And I know the perfect bait!" Miwa smiled cunningly, to which everyone except Mikey looked towards April. "Bread crumbs?" Mikey questioned, Raph hit him on the back of the head, sighing, "She meant April."
Mikeys gasped in horror, jumping in front of April to protect her from his gone savage siblings, "You're gonna let him eat April! I thought you guys all liked April?!" he yelled.
"It's fine Mikey, I've got a plan." Leo said trying to calm both down a worried looking April and a upset Mikey. "Ok, everyone gear up, we leave in 10." Leo called out, before they all dispersed to get ready.

After a small argument between the two girls on how April's acting suck, and that it needed work to be better bait. The four ninjas hid silently in the shadows, watching for the giant pigeon as April waltzed around the ally shouting. As she began walking down the alley once more, she suddenly heard the cries of a pigeon behind her. She pivoted around, to see her pigeon stalker diving towards her, April let out a terrified scream, as his talons stretched out ready to grab her.
But just before the bird was in arms range of her, Miwa jumped forward, pulling out a tazer and pressing it to the pigeon, zapping him, while the other three others jumped after the pigeon was down and pinned the it to the ground.
"Okay, okay, Uncle!" cried the bird man in pain. "Jeeze Louise!"
"And you said I wasn't good bait," said April smugly to Miwa.
Said girl, glared at the redhead before saying, "We are totally gonna need to work on your acting skills." April's smug smile dropped into a pout.
"Okay start talking, Pigeon Man," said Leo threateningly.
"I have a name!," the bird called out. "Yeah, we just don't care what it is," replied Raph sarcastically. "It's Pete," the mutant replied back. "Why were you trying to hurt April, Pete?" Leo asked annoyed. "I didn't wanna hurt her," Pete protested. "I was just bringing her a message. From her father!"
April gasped suddenly at the mention of her dad, "Let him up!" she ordered, and the ninjas let the mutant go. Pete stood up, and looked at April. "We were both guests of the Kraang, They poured some ooze on me and turned me into this…" he looked down at his mutated hands sadly. April looked at him sympathetically. "Oh, that must have been horrible. Being turned into apigeon." she ended with disgust.
"Actually, I started out as a pigeon," said Pete happily, April looked away awkwardly. "Told ya the bread crumbs would of worked," said Mikey. Then Pete suddenly grabbed said turtle. "You've got bread crumbs!?" he asked frantically, before shaking the turtle for the crumbs to come out. "Umm, my father?" asked April, bringing the birds concentration back to her.
"Oh, right," said Pigeon Pete, dropping Mikey on his face. He then reached into his pocket, and pulled out a phone. April took it and played the video on the screen.
Her father's face pulled up as the video began, "Something terrible is about to happen, I-I don't know what, but it's extremely important that you get out of the city as soon as you can. Save yourself. and remember, I love you."
April hugged the phone. "I love you too, Daddy."
"Do you have any idea what he's talking about," Leo asked Pete. "I'm just the messenger," said Pete with a shrug. But April looked back at them determined. "I'm not going anywhere without my Dad," she said. "But you heard him," Mikey whined. "Something terrible is going to happen?"
"Then we better hurry," April said defiantly, crossing her arms. Leo sighed and nodded, turning back to Pete. "Can you tell us where the Kraang are holding him?"
"I can," Pete said, pausing. "But it's gonna cost you a lot of bread." Leo rose his eyebrow at the bird. "We're talking about actual bread, right?" Pete nodded his head happily. "Yeah, sourdough!"
"Done," Leo agreed smiling.
"Let's go fools!" Mikey yelled excitedly as the group left, following the mutant pigeon. As they left the alley, Miwa got a feeling... were they being watched? But before she could properly turn around..."Yo, you coming Miwa?" Mikey asked her when he saw her not following. "Yeah...I'm coming" she called back, catching up quickly.
As soon as the five teens and Pete were out of sight, three Foot Ninjas crept out of their hiding spots on the roof above. After a couple of seconds, the shortest and differently dressed of the three, held his hand out and pointed in the direction of the Foot base. To which the other two hurried off, to inform the ones in charge of their mission. While the last remaining Ninja watched them leave, till they were completely out of sight. He then turnt and began following the five teens at a safe distance.

Xever and Bradford were looking around a marketplace, while trying to buying some time, before heading back to the base. They stopped at a man with fish for sale, as Xever had a thing for piranha fish. He reached into the tank and grabbed one with his bare hands. While Bradford stood rubbing his throbbing hand, bitten a couple of minutes prior, by the Shredder's Shiba Inu dog.
"That is the ugliest thing I've ever seen," said Bradford in disgust as he looked at the fish, before quickly glancing to his side. "Present company excluded." Xever only glared back.
"So, we have a problem," said Bradford as they watched the fish gasp for air. "No, you have a problem," Xever spat back, trying to ignore Chris. "We've both failed Master Shredder," Bradford supplied. "Can you live with that shame?" Xever let out an irritated grunt at that, throwing the fish back to the shop owner to cut, who stood juggling with it for a moment till he caught it in a hug, putting it on the cutting board.
"If I had the opportunity, I would crush those disciples like bugs," he said confidently. Bradford watched unfazed, as the shop owner cut the fish's head off. He then heard his cell phone go off, which he pulled out to look at the message. Upon reading, he grinned.
"What is that?" asked Xever, eyebrow raised.
"Opportunity," Bradford said with a smirk.

Meanwhile on the other side of town, Pete had led the teens to the rooftop of an normal looking building. It took them some time for them to pry through the vent, to givie the ninjas a way in. "Let's do this." April cheered quietly as she approached the vent opening, only to stop as Leo put his hand out in front of her. "We need you to wait here, April."
"Are you crazy? My Dad's in there!" April said firmly. "Along with who knows how many Kraang, this requires stealth and mobility. Leave it to the pros." Leonardo said back, authoritatively. April sighed, looking downcast, "I can't just do nothing."
"You won't be doing nothing. We need you to lower this rope when we give you the signal." Leo replied back, giving her the rope, as the four ninjas jumped down the vent.
April sighed, sitting down on the floor with her back to the vent, waiting for her friends to come back with her dad. When not even a minute passed, the vent shock a little and made a very soft 'thud'. She stood immediately, thinking it was them, only to see a Foot Ninja perched on top, looking down into said vent.
He jerked his head back up quickly at the sudden appearance of a girl from behind the vent. Readying his hand towards his tantō, but that's when he properly looked at her. He stared at her wide eyed..."Kanojo wa watashi ga imamade mita naka de mottomo utsukushī on'nanokodesu" he whispered to himself while looking into her eyes.
April was also eyeing the boy up, she didn't understand what he had just said, but she did recognised him..."Umm.. are you...Daiki?" April asked nervously. "H-hai, I am." He nodded back to her, equally as awkward. He then recognised her description from last night, 'is this the girl who's father had supposedly been taken?' He thought to himself. "You wouldn't happen to see my green friend go this way, would you?" He asked casually, pointing down the vent. April, remembering back in the lair before they left, that Mikey had said he and Daiki had some 'Bro Time', and it turns out, he may not of been exaggerating after all. "Um yeah.. Mikey went in there, he and his siblings are trying to get my dad out." She replied, sounding dejected at the end of her sentence.
Daiki looked at her downcast face. Her eyes made him feel so hurt. He pulled his face mask down to his chin, and smiled sympathetically to her, "I hope they get him out for you." He said before pulling his mask back up and suddenly jumping down the vent in one quick motion, leaving April standing there speechless.
He landed in a crouched position, only to look up and see broken robot parts on the floor. He stood and walked over to one and saw a pink brain inside its chest. He gently poked it, and wasn't expecting it to squirm at his touch, "Whoa! Alien Robots! So he was telling the truth." He said in a serious tone, turning to run down the weird looking corridor, following what looked like power conduits on the roof, "What else was he telling the truth about?" He questioned himself.
The building looked about the same as the other Kraang buildings they'd found so far. The walls were a metallic white with pink lights running through them. They snuck their way through quietly, Leo cut Krangg bots in half before they could turn to see them, Raph throw his Sai straight into their heads, and Miwa launched shurikens at them from behind.
Till they came across a control center in one of the rooms, which conveniently, lead back to the corridor to the vent. They decided (after some debate on why no one wanted to split with Mikey) that they would leave said turtle inside the room on guard, while Leo and Raph went one way through another corridor and Miwa went down the other, all keeping contact over walkie talkies.
Mikey was now alone, and walking around aimlessly. His one instruction was: 'Do not touch anything!' But he was so bored! And there were so many buttons. "Leo, are you sure you don't want me to try-"
"NO!!" Leo and Raph shouted down the walkie "Do not touch anything Michelangelo!" Growled Miwa afterwards. "Just sit and wait! We'll be there as soon as we find Kirby to figure out the plan, then we'll leave." Leo said before cutting off. Mikey sat on the floor pouting
Unlike Mikey however, Miwa was making her way through the facility. She had taken out quite a few Krangg, but all the cells she came upon were empty. Maybe Leo and Raph will have more luck? She came up to a T shaped corridor, debating whether to take the left or right, but was suddenly distracted when she saw something. It was fast, but she caught it in the corner of her eye. A black figure ran down the hallway behind her. She ran back down, towards the end of the corridor, just in time to see him turn the corner.
Daiki happened upon a weird square door, he pulled apart the lock pad, fiddling with the wires till he opened it. To which he stepped inside and saw a small circular room, with what looked to be a control pad in the middle, 'That could work?' He thought as he made his way over to it. Only to feel a sudden presence in the room with him, he turned around to see Mikey laying on the floor, pouting like a toddler.
"Michelangelo?" He questioned. Said turtle turned at his name, looking up to see a teen boy in Foot uniform stood near him, A hood and face mask covered his face almost entirely, but he recognized his mahogany eyes anywhere, "D! What are you doing here??" He shot up excited.
"I happened to be in the area when you and your brothers mentioned the Krangg and some sort of plan? Thought I'd follow and see wheather or not your story held true?" He looked around nervously, rubbing the back of his head, "Which clearly it does..." he finished, ashamed that he didn't believe his friend. "Its alright D, My family didn't believe me the first time either" he said shrugging his shoulders, giving him a reassuring smile.
"Well then," he said smiling back, "Do you want to show me how this thing works?" Daiki asked Mikey as he walked over to the controls. Mikey joined him and looked at him smiling smugly before saying, "I don't know how to work this thing."
- 5 minutes later -
"What's that one do?" Mikey asked intrigued, "I don't know." Daiki answered uncertainly, "What's that one do?" Mikey asked again, only to be pushed back from the panel with D's arm, "I don't know." Daiki sighed, getting a little annoyed with the tech. Only for Mikey to come back again on his other side, "What's that one do?" Daiki grabbed Mikey by the sides of his shell, dragging him backwards "I don't know!" He was getting extremely frustrated, and Mikey's constant interfering wasn't helping.
Mikey one the other hand, liked seeing D peeved, it was just like winding up Raph! He saw the frustration on his face and thought of an idea, nodding as he disappeared from Daiki's left side, only to suddenly appear on his right. he jumped on top of Daiki's head, pulling his hood down and messing up his hair, pointing at the control pad, "Ooh, that one's pretty!" Daiki couldn't take it anymore. "Just stop it!" He yelled, smashing his fists down onto the controls, only for it to chime at them and open up several folders. "Haha, I'm in!" He grinned victoriously. "You're welcom- Oof!" Mikey yelped as Daiki shouldered him off of his head and to the floor.
He glanced at the guilty looking turtle, ruffling his hair around to fix it, before pulling his hood back up. Only to turn to the screen and see the blueprints and files for the so called Plan pulling up, then he began reading them... "Uh-oh." Was all he managed out, before he had to lean backwards to avoid a sudden shower of shurikens. "I know it! You were following us!" Miwa shouted at Daiki, readying her tantō. But before she could get any closer to him, Michelangelo jumped in front of Daiki protectively. "Sis! We don't have time! Look!!" Mikey exclaimed, pointing at the Kranggs plan on the screen. Miwa stared at the screen annoyed, before going wide eyed at what she was reading. "Oh no."
Across the facility, Leo and Raph were doing...ok. They had found Mr. O'Neil, but had spent the last couple of minutes trying to pick the lock to his cell. While Leo worked on picking the lock, Raph thought to ask Mr. O'Neil about the Kraang. "Since it's taking Leo forever to pick that lock-"
"I'm working on it," Leo snapped back. "-Maybe you can tell us what the heck's the deal with the Kraang," Raph continued.
"They're aliens from another dimension, When they came here they brought the mutagen with them." Mr O'Neil replied.
"Why?" asked Leo, still trying on the lock. "What's the point of turning people into monsters?"
"The mutagen doesn't work the way they thought it would," Kirby explained. "Apparently the physical laws of their universe are different from ours."
"So they're grabbing scientists to help them modify the ooze!" Leo gasped as realization struck.
"Wow! You figured it out," said Raph sarcastically. "How's that lock coming?"
Leo glared at Raph, still working on said lock. "So what do they want the ooze to do?" he asked. "I wish I knew," replied Mr. O'Neil, miserably.
"GUYS!?," Miwa and Mikey's panicked voices screamed out from down the hall as they approached the others. "They planted a mutagen bomb down town! They're gonna use it to disperse ooze over half the city!" Miwa shouted at them, to which all their faces dropped. It was then that Leo noticed someone behind Mikey...
"Daiki?" Leo called out once he saw the ninja come out from behind his brother and sister.
"You! Why the shell are you here?!" Shouted Raph, outraged.
"Same as you" Daiki said, as if it wasn't obvious. "Your here for Mr O'Neil?" Mikey asked confused. Daiki faceplamed, "Yeah Mikey. I'm here for the random 50 year old man I've never met too." He sarcastically replied. "I'm only 42." Kirby said quietly to himself, self-consciously touching his balding spot. "Okay, enough! We'll out what to do we him-" he pointed at Daiki "In a minute. We have to disarm that bomb! If I could just get this stupid door open." Leo said struggling, still trying the lock.
Mikey saw a button to the side of the door, "Have you tried this?" He said as he pushed it. "NO!!!" Everybody in the room yelled as Mikey accidentally tripped the alarm, flashing lights starting up. "And that's why no one wants to be with you!" Raph bellowed, hitting Mikey in the back of the head. Daiki then ran up to the door, and crouched, glancing quickly over the lock Leo had been struggling with in less then a couple of seconds. He reached his hand in and pulled out two wires, and the door opened automatically. He then throw the wires on the floor looking at Mikey annoyed, who chuckled nervously and approached Leo.
"Leo! Daiki can help us! He's like a super genius dude!" Mikey said, full of determination, as Daiki stood back up, He looked at Leo with a trusting look in his eyes, "I can defuse the bomb, but I don't know where this Wolf Hotel is? If you can you take me then'"
"What? Your just suddenly against Shredder all of a sudden?" Raphael interrupted, jabbing a finger into Daiki's chest. Daiki glared hard at him and chuckled, "Yeah, your not that lucky pal. It's just that I'd rather not look like you when I stick my Bō up your- "
"GUYS!" Leo howled over the bickering pair, "We don't have time! Daiki, we'll take you to the Hotel, but we're all going, as there's bound to be Krangg there. Once the bomb is defused, you leave, Understand?" Daiki smiled a little under his mask, nodding "Got it.
"Lets move it ladies!" Miwa yelled, as she grabbed hold of Mr O'Neil and took off down the hall, followed quickly by the others. They all ran towards the vent, where April was waiting with the rope. They had to slide behind a couple of crates as a horde of Krangg came at them shooting. Leonardo sat hooting up the vent, too which all the others stared at him. "What are you doing?" Miwa questioned, "April, throw the rope!" Raphael yelled up to which the red haired girl appeared, "Dad!" She cried out. "April!" Kirby called back, seeing his little girl. "April?" Daiki asked confused, he looked at Mikey. Then pointed over at Miwa, "I thought her name was April?" He questioned, turning back to Mikey. "Ummm no D, That's not April." Mikey answered awkwardly. Wait...if that girl isn't April, then was this girl...
He was drawn out of his thoughts as the Redhead threw the rope down the vent, but the Kraang were closing in, firing their lasers at them constantly. The three older ninjas started to try and fight them off. But there were too many to take. Mr. O'Neil however, caught sight of a fallen blaster. He quickly picked it up and began firing at the Kraang. "Mr. O'Neil, what are you doing?" asked Leo confused. Kirby looked at them with a determined look. "Save my daughter, Save the city."
"Daddy! No!" shouted April when she realized what he was doing.
The man began shooting the Kraang's own gun at them, as the Hamato teens started climbing up the rope. "We're leaving him here?" Daiki asked, conflicted on what he should do as he looked between the distraught girl above, and the man shooting beside him. "We don't have a choice." Leo replied sadly, as he ushered Daiki up, before climbing the rest of the way himself. "No!" April cried out as she watched the aliens pin her father, before taking him away once more.
She turned away from the scene, covering her mouth with her hands, tears in her eyes. Looking for comfort, she threw her arms around the nearest person to her. "We'll get him back, April," Mikey said from beside her. She felt the person in her arms hug her ever so slightly back, she looked up too see Daiki looking at her sympathetically. "I promise." He whispered to her. She stared at his sad eyes before resting her head back on his chest solemnly.
"We need to move! April head back to the lair and inform Splinter of what's happening" ordered Leo, April nodded, wiping her tears once more and left, leaving the five teens alone on the roof. Mikey smiled to Daiki as he passed him and jumped down the roof, Leo nodded at him and Miwa ignored him as they too passed.
Only Raphael stopped, staring at him hatefully, "If us trusting you ends up with any of my family hurt-" Daiki quickly interrupted the turtle, "Believe me Raphael, I won't do anything that would put Michelangelo in Danger." he said seriously. "Good. Coz I'll hurt you 10x worse. You hear me?" Raphael growled. "How can I not?" replied Daiki sarcastically. When Raphael made no sign of moving though, he sighed and settled for a "Loud and Clear". And with that, Raph grunted in response before running to the next rooftop, praying they'll make it to the Wolf Hotel in time, and that he wouldn't have to kill a certain Foot tonight.
Daiki on the other hand smirked under his mask, pulling his phone out, and sending a quick message, before leaving to join the other ninjas.
