Chapter 6: That Gnawing Feeling

Hi! Got another chapter for you all! ;D

Note: This is based on the 2k12 series.

Someone asked me to explain Donnie's rank in the foot so I thought I'd say on here just in case anyone else wanted to know? So Donnie is a henchman, he's the same rank as Xever and Bradford, but lower then Karai was, as he's not Shredders son. He has authority over the foot soldiers, but he mainly works alone.

WARNING: 'Dyslexic Writer lol'

Chapter 6

It had been two weeks since Daiki had seen the Hamatos.

His Master had reported that he saw the Turtles enter the sewers. And that he believes Hamato Yoshi is hiding there with his daughter. He sent Bradford to go out and search the area surrounding the manhole cover, only for said mutant to come back and say that the three turtles as well as Miwa had been in an alleyway a few blocks away, to which he easily beat them before they vanished.

Apart from that meeting a week ago, the foot hadn't seen or reported any Hamato activity. No one had heard from them.

With the exception of Daiki, of course.

He'd been constantly messaging with Mikey almost everyday, with said turtle always eager to talk aswell. It was nice, and it was a relief to actually talk to someone his age for a change. Even though most of Daiki's texts consisted of Gifs.

He was currently stood in the corridors texting said turtle, who was introducing him to all of his toes through photos. When a foot soldier came up to him bowing, "Morikawa-san, Master Shredder asks for your presence in the throne room."

"Hai, thank you for getting me," he nodded respectfully back as he made his way to the location.

In said throne room, sat the Shredder, watching as his mutant henchman approached him, "Bradford" Shredder's voice echoed eerily across the room.

"ThePurple Dragon's agreed to raise our cut to eighty percent. No complaints." Bradford reported without hesitation, bowing before his Sensei.

The Shredder walked up to his henchman pleased, "It seems your mutated form has its advantages. But do not forget our primary goal. Locating Splinter and his students."

A groan of annoyance came from under the two, as a mutant fish swam around under the walkway. "If I weren't stuck in here, I would have caught Splinter by now." Xever sneered to the man and dog.

"But you are stuck in there." Bradford bragged as he started taping on the walkway's glass, sending vibrations into the water the fish was in.

"No, no, no, no! Stop that! Stop that! Ow! Ow! Stop it! Stop it!" Xever cried out in pain as the vibrations hit him repeatedly.

"I'm sure you'll have your chance to shine one of these days. Master Shredder might get hungry for sushi." Bradford poked fun at the fish once more.

"Why don't you get in the water and say that?" Xever snarled back, pressing his face against the glass.

"Enough, Xever! Bradford is right. You are useless to me this way." The Shredder insulted, earning another snarl from the fish mutant who swam away fuming. "Bradford. I'm counting on you, to find me information I can use. Or Xever won't be the only one missing his legs."

"I won't fail you Master." Bradford assured him.

"I know you won't. As you'll be taking Morikawa with you."

As if on cue, Daiki walked into the throne room, dropping to a knee, "You called for me, Master?"

"Yes, you are too assist Bradford today. Anything of importance that happens, you report it to me." Shredder instructed.

"Hai, Master." Daiki got up, bowing once more before leaving, followed closely by an annoyed Bradford.

Mikey was tired of being the singled out sibling. The 'B-Team' as he so stupidly named himself.

Leo and Raph were always teaming up against him for being stronger and better then him, and Miwa preferred to be a solo act. That left poor Michelangelo as the lone turtle ninja.

So when April came to the lair in distress, saying that the Purple Dragons had mugged her and taken her phone, Mikey know this was his chance to prove he was just as useful as the rest of his family.

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

The Purple Dragons spent a relaxing night after a good day of mugging people, having a knife throwing game. Throwing said knives at a badly drawn picture with a turtle on it. Sid and Tsoi were playing currently, as Fong sat back with a cup of tea watching.

Sid, the muscular guy, got upset when Tsoi, the mustache guy, started to laugh at him for not being anywhere near the picture.

"That's it," Sid said disinterested. "No more bets."

"C'mon!" said Tsoi teasingly. "Your luck'll turn around-." Sid was then suddenly sent flying across the room, hitting the far wall. Tsoi stumbled back, tripping over an empty crate as Fong, spat out his drink, looking up to see who had just beat his guy. "TheTurtles! And that Girl!?"

"Sup," Raph said nonchalantly, for someone who had just sent a guy three times his weight and height flying. While Leo, Miwa and Mikey jumped down from the rafters joining him. Mikey give a long 'woohhh' as he stood on one foot, hands bending in the air.

"Get 'em!" Fong shouted, pointing at the Hamatos.

Tsoi, who hadn't been knocked out, leapt in the air, ready to down Mikey. The youngest turtle grinned, drawing his nunchucks ready to knock this sucker flying. "Bring it!"

"Comin' through!" Raph yelled as he kicked Tsoi backwards, making Mikey shouted out furiously.

He then thought to charge Fong, but before he could get to him, Leo jumped in front of him. "I got it!" And kicked the Dragon leader back.

"Hey! Not cool!" Mikey yelled.

"Let's get outta here!" Fong yelled as he and Tsoi got back up. The Purple Dragons ran, only to found their escape route blocked by Raph and Mikey, and turned only to come up against Leo and Miwa.

Leo pinned Fong against the wall. "You punks stole a phone from a friend of ours," he said threateningly. "We want it back."

Fong scoffed. "Whatever. We steal a lotta phones."

"Well let's see 'em. Now!"

A few minutes later, the Hamatos were gathered around the Purple Dragon's stash of stolen goods. They had a bit of everything there, cameras, paintings, computers, radios and phones.

"There it is!" said Miwa, pointing out a red phone with a little bunny charm attached. But as she reached out to grab it, the ground suddenly started shaking, as well as the stuff and people inside the building.

"Does anybody else feel that?" Mikey yelled unsure.

"What's going on?" Sid asked the other two Dragons in confusion.

Only for the floor to split open as a dozen or more tiny metallic robots jumped out of the crack, giving out long, mechanical shrieks sounding vaguely similar to that of a cat.

Leo stepped back from the crack in shock, "What theheck…?"

Miwa and her brothers watched as the robots gathered all of the Purple Dragons' stolen loot into their mouths, and jumped back into the hole, following a tunnel.

Leonardo then caught sight of Fong speeding up the stairs, as well as the red phone in his hand. Fong turned around laughing, before booking it out of the warehouse. "He's got the phone!" Leo yelled. "Mikey, go after Fong! We'll handle the metal!"

"Yeah, and if you need any help, don't be afraid to call us, B-Team!" Raph laughed as he drove down the hole.

"Yeah!?...well. don't be afraid to call me! If you need help! Or um... Yeah!" Mikey shouted out as he chased down Fong.

"You know the B-Team thing is getting a little old now Raph." Miwa mocked as she dove in last,

"Your welcome to make the B-Team a duo Miwa." Raphael joked.

"I just think you take it too far sometimes." Miwa warned him

"Miwa, once we reach the end of this tunnel your free to to after Mikey... just to you know, check on him." Leonardo said cautiously, while tracking the robots.

"Fine. But he can handle himself. He's not as useless as you all claim he is!" Miwa said dangerously as she continued after her brothers.

Meanwhile, in a abandoned factory a couple of streets over, Bradford was working through his inner frustrations on his dumbbells. But the constant sound of sizzling with little pops and spits here and there kept being picked up by his newly sensitive ears. He didn't mind that the kid was with him, it was the fact that he brought 'work' with him that irritated the dog.

On the other side of the room however, was the cause of said noises. Daiki was wielding together something at the small desk in the middle of the room, lead back in a rolling chair with his legs up on the table. He had his hood off, and goggles pulled over his eyes, and was sticking his tongue out in concentration. And if too add to the number of distractions in the small space, he had some sort of heavy rock music blaring beside him.

His thoughts however, were far too preoccupied by other things to notice how much of a rack he was actually making.

There were moments in his life when he felt as if something was amiss. Like something wasn't quite right and there was an empty space in his life that needed filling. He felt like this alot after his parents... deaths. But recently, that feeling changed.

When he was with Mikey he felt a weird sense of fulfillment where that space was. And that feeling of something being missing, wasn't there anymore.

"Morikawa"

With the Foot, it was different. He was just, there. The only people he actually cared about were his Master and Bradford. Saki had taken him under his watch when he had lost everything. And Bradford had practically raised him since he first joined the clan, but they were far from father figures in Daiki's eyes. Bradford was more like an uncle, who just wanted to get rid of him half of the time, but put up with him for the sake of the Clan. And Saki never really spoke to him apart from when he was giving orders. Though he couldn't help but think that being with the men since childhood had been the main reason he made it at all. In fact, since joining the clan he'd become stronger, smarter, faster, and even a bit more sarcastic.

But when he wasn't on missions, or training with Bradford, he would be in his makeshift 'Lab' he had made the same week he transferred to America. A small run down warehouse, no bigger then a small bungalow. A good half an hour away from headquarters. Was where he spent most of his time. So all and all, he had to accept that he was a bit of a loner.

So when he found himself with Mikey, he felt like he wasn't as alone. Daiki felt like he truly belonged somewhere and had someone to rely on. To trust.

"Morikawa!"

Despite all of the good his turtle friend did for him, Mikey also reminded him about a feeling he got sometimes. Like something wasn't right, a sense of uneasy perhaps? Daiki had never had the best intuition, but he knew the feeling of something being wrong. In fact, he'd felt this weird feeling everytime he was around any of the Hamatos.

But this uneasy thought happened before he even came to America. When he was only five, and was just recently taken into Shredder's care. He felt a strong feeling in his gut, a warning of some sorts. But he learned to block it out, and ignored it whenever it came around. There was no reason to feel this way around Saki or the Foot, he was safe and-

"DAIKI!" Bradford's bellow brought the boy out of his contemplative thoughts, and back to reality.

"What?" The boy shouted back with just as much volume.

Bradford huffed in annoyance, but continued with his complaint. "Would you stop making so much noise, all I can hear is that stupid music, and that wielding tool of yours!"

"Well, I haven't got anything else to do?" The boy said cockily, not even looking up from his task as he turnt his music off.

Bradford growled, "What even is that thing?" Scrutinising over the werid device in the boy's hand.

"It's...it's a personal project I've been working on" The boy stuttered out unconfidently.

Bradford looked at the gizmo again. It looked like a small robot hand? But with three fingers. Though it looked as though the fingers weren't fully attached to the hand, probably the reason for the wielding tool. The boy was always making weird gadgets, ever since he was small. So Bradford just shrugged it off as another project soon to fail and blow up in his face.

The mutant turnt around, grabbing his dumbbells, "I don't see why I had to bring you along with me. You don't take things seriously." He muttered to himself, not expecting the boy to answanswer him.

"If I throw you a stick, I bet you'll leave, right?" Daiki shot back sarcastically, glaring at him while he started to spin side to side on his wheely chair to annoy the dog further. "But I think Master Shredder would rather someone stay and watch you. You know? Incase you go ahead and get yourself mutated again?"

Bradford growled quietly, but the noise was still audibly thunderous.

"What would that even look like? A double mutation?" Daiki questioned snarkily, glancing at the mutant, "Though, anything would be better then a giant lap dog?"

"At least I'm not a giant piece of calamari, Xever can't even walk!" Bradford shot back angrily.

"Yeah, I suppose anything's better then that." Daiki muttered to himself, looking away from the mutant as he began to fiddle with his project once more.

Bradford watched as the boy began to fidget, he raised this kid. He know his little moves had a meaning behind them. This one, meaning that the kid had something on his mind. "You've been thinking of ways to get Xever back his legs, haven't you, Daiki." Bradford asked him quietly.

The brunette lowered his head slowly towards the contraption in his hands, trying to ignore the mutant.

"I know you, Kid. Your too soft not to care." Bradford said with a surprising amount of emotion in his voice.

Daiki stopped spinning momentarily, looking at the dog with a guilty expression, before trying to get back to his project, "I've done the calculations, yes..."

Bradford nodded briefly, "So? Can you grant the mermaid her legs?" He asked sarcastically, but was actually genuinely intrigued.

"Not with the materials I have. To make a neural transmitter from scratch with what I've got is near to impossible. And if Master Shredder were to ask someone to try and make legs for Xever?" He paused looking at the dog.

"I wouldn't even know where to start, so pray some fool comes along to do it for me." Daiki replied seriously.

Bradford chuffed to himself, "Well then, it looks like the caviar is staying put."

It was then that the leader of the Purple Dragons, Fong, walked up behind Bradford.

"What is it?" The dog huffed out as he lifted his weights once more.

The man stopped in his tracks when the mutant spoke, "One of our guys jacked this earlier tonight. Then those Hamatos freaks came looking for it, said it belongs to a friend of theirs." He finished by holding up a red phone with a bunny charm on it.

Daiki lifted his eyes up at the mention of the Hamatos, and glanced at the phone. It didn't look like something Miwa would have. So it must of been that pretty red-heads.

"Really?" Bradford answered Fong, as he made his way over.

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

"Aww, man." Mikey whined from above, looking into the factory through the glass skylight on the roof, "I can't take Dogpound on my own. And Donnie can't help me or else he'll get in trouble...Maybe I should wait for the guys to come help?" He questioned aloud, tapping his chin.

"Nu-uh! Then they'll never stop calling me the B-team!" He yelled at himself while he began pacing the roof, trying to think of a plan.

*fifteen minutes of thinking (and naming) plans later*

"OH! I got it! I can use my sweet ninja stealth skills and slink in, grab April's phone and stop by Antonio's for celebratory pizza! They'll never see me coming! It's the perfect plan!" he said rubbing his hands together, waiting for the perfect moment to enact his master plan.

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

"Unlock it already!" A growl echoed around the room.

Fong stood tapping at the screen, getting nervous of the impatient mutant. But he was adamant he had it. "I'm getting there! It's just encrypted or something."

"Just give it to Morikawa." Bradford snarled, getting fed up with both the man failing miserably, and Daiki standing next to him, giving him looks everytime the phone beeped at an incorrect password.

From behind the three of them came in Tsoi and Sid, with a tied up middle aged man in a pink vest. When said man looked up he was greeted to an unusual sight. A man struggling to open his phone, a child in a ninja outfit, and a eight foot tall humanoid dog! "Uh, nice doggy?" Baxter Stockman quipped nervously backing up, as Bradford growled at the man, while Daiki couldn't help but snicker at the insult.

"This guy used his little robots to steal from us, which means he's stealing from you" Tsoi informed the two foot soldiers.

"I don't have time for this," Bradford said annoyed at the interruption. "Get rid of him. I've got turtles to find."

Stockman's voice went higher as he spoke quickly. "Wait! Turtles? I hate those guys! I can help! In fact, I'm already helping!"

Daiki looked up slightly, making eye contact with the man, "Explain," the Foot boy said, interrogating Baxter.

"My Mousers are destroying the turtles as we speak!" Stockman said quickly.

Daiki glanced over the man, "Is that so?"

"Two of them at least?" Stockman continued nervously.

Daiki put his hand on his chin, exchanging a look between the phone and the man. Getting an idea. He nodded to Bradford, then to the phone in Fong's hand and back towards the pink vest man.

"So...you make robots," Bradford inquired, catching onto Daiki's idea, while getting closer to Baxter, "You must be good with electronics."

"The best!" Stockman said confidently. "There is nothing I can't build, hack, or fix!" Daiki scoffed at him quietly, as the giant mutant raised his paw and sliced down. Stockman shut his eyes and gasped, but when he opened them, he saw his wrists were untied, the ropes lying on the floor.

"Could you...hack into this phone?" Dogpound asked, holding up the cellphone he had snatched from Fong.

Daiki watched with a calculating glance while Stockman took his turn to scoff at the mutant. "You insult me, sir. Something so easy would be a waste of my talents!"

"Well, then," Dogpound growled. "Start wasting your talents…" Stockman took April's phone from the paw of the dog mutant nervously. "…before I waste you."

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

Michelangelo was swiftly making his way down the roof to enact his 'Operation: Black Out'.

After Stockman entered the building, all the occupants had gone to a table in the centre of the room. The perfect time! They were all distracted.

"Leo and Raph only think of me as the B-Team. Well? Would the B-Team be able to get April's phone back from Dogpound all by himself?" He mused as he entered through the back door, quickly catching sight of his plans main tool. A metal box with a picture of a light bulb on it. With a goofy chuckle, he switched the lights off to the main factory. Before bolting in as fast as he could from the door right next to him, once the room had gone completely dark.

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

"There. My decryption program is ready." Stockman stated cheerfully, before suddenly gasping as the lights suddenly went out.

"What's going on?" Bradford shouted out in confusion.

There was a quick 'Swish' and he noticed that the phone was gone.

"The phone!" The mutant barked in alarm as he followed a shadow with his eyes, running for the exit. While Daiki rushed to the other side of the room to get the lights back on.

The only sounds that could be heard in the room were three pairs of feet running, a booted pair with occasional metal clinks, a bare footed pair running clumsily, and a monstrous pair gaining on the second.

Followed by a loud 'Oof' as Bradford jumped, throwing his enormous paw down on top of something hard. Pinning it to the floor.

When Daiki finally found the fuse box, he turnt on the lights too see Bradford grasping Michelangelo in his hand by the plastron, "Well...that plan didn't work." Mikey said to himself nervously chuckling.

"Worked great for me." Bradford quipped cockily, "Get the chains." He shouted to the Dragon's.

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

With Mikey strung up on the wall by his wrists, there was no hope in him escaping. "We'll have full access to the phone in about ten minutes." Stockman announced to the room.

"But there's nothing on it you guys would want?" Mikey asked them in confusion, "Unless you like alot of pictures of fancy food? In which case, your in luck."

Stockman scoffed at the turtle, "It's got a GPS log you fool. Once I unlock this phone, we'll see every place it's ever been."

Mikey gasped out in realization, "The Museum of Natural History!"

"Or Splinter's location?" Daiki supplied for the clearly clueless turtle with a raised eyebrow.

"That's even worse!!" Mikey yelled out.

Dogpound got up close to Mikey's face, particularly breathing on him, "If that phone tells me where Splinter is, I'll have no reason to keep you alive. And if it doesn't tell me, I'll get the answers out of you." He smashed his giant fist into the wall beside Mikey's head, "That's what I call a win-win." He finished, walking back over to Baxter.

Mikey swallowed hard out of fear, looking at Daiki with a small bit of hope, "D?" He whispered out terrified. "I know you have a thing against Splinter dude,... but please! You gotta-" he shut his mouth instantly as Dogpound glared at him.

"I wanna help you Mikey, but if I stop Bradford, I'll be a dead man." Daiki whispered secretly to the turtle, using his mask to cover his mouth. "This is out of my hands."

Daiki gave him a apoplectic look before he walked away towards the table where Baxter was working. Thinking of ways he could secretly distract the man long enough from hacking the phone to give Mikey's siblings a chance to get here and help him. Then Dexter may continue hacking. They needed Splinter's location.

Baxter however, stopped his work on the computer by himself as he picked up Daiki's project he'd left on the desk. Though said Foot soldier didn't like that the man was looking at it with such a judgeful eye.

"What's this supposed to be?" Baxter asked out loud, fiddling with the contraption in his hands carelessly.

"It's a work in progress." Daiki answered vaguely. Snatching it off of him and putting it into a bag beside the desk.

"What does it do?" Baxter asked sceptically.

"None of your business." Daiki shot back.

"How old are you?" The man questioned with a raised eyebrow.

Daiki was taken aback slightly by the sudden question, "E-Excuse me?"

"You look like your a teenager?" Baxter couldn't help but feel awkward around the strange unaccompanied minor.

Looking at the giant dog who the boy seemed to be here with, he thought to asked for his own clarification, "So are you like his son or something?" Stockman asked nonchalantly whilst getting back to his deception.

Daiki looked back at the man offended, "What? No I'm not his son." He finished crossing his arms.

"Geez, sorry. It's just-" Baxter tried to defend himself.

"I'm fifteen. I don't babysitter." The boy interrupted him, getting more annoyed.

"Yeah, but where are your parents-"

"Shizukani! 'Be Quiet!'" Daiki suddenly yelled out at the man, slamming his hands down onto the table. Catching everyones immediate attention, "Don't you have a phone to be hacking!?" Daiki said, grabbed the man roughly by the collar, yanking him off his chair. Snarling at him, his bared teeth hidden behind his mask.

"Morikawa, put him down. Go and stand guard outside." Bradford ruffed out, annoyed with the boys sudden outburst.

"Hai, Sensei." Daiki said through gritted teeth, dropping the man back down on his chair as he took off outside to cool down, kicking the door open on his way out.

"Sensei?" Mikey whispered as he watched Daiki leave.

"What's his deal?" Baxter muttered out annoyed, brushing himself off.

"He's got a thing about people wasting their time asking unimportant questions" Bradford growled out, slamming his paw onto the already abused desk.

"W-Working on it!" Stockman shrieked as he began typing away at the keyboard frantic.

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

As Daiki made his way outside the factory, he pulled his mask down around his neck. Taking in the cool air helped to calm him down a bit. He really needed to get a grip on his outbursts. Any mention of his...parents, always set him off. It was like all he could see was red.

He eventually made his way up towards the fire escape and started to take a slow walk up. Reaching the rooftop, only to be greeted by another Hamato.

Miwa stood alone on the roof, looking out at the loud city, before noticing the approaching brunette. Daiki strolled up to her casually, "So, what brings you here?"

Miwa moved a little closer, feeling confident that he wasn't going to start a fight, "Someone punched you hard." She quipped sarcastically.

It took Daiki a moment, touching his face all over trying to find a bruise. Only to realise that his mask was still down, and the gap between his teeth visible. He shot her a dangerous look before repeating his question in a much harsher tone, "What are you doing here?"

Miwa smirked at his reaction. "I'm looking for Mikey. The Purple Dragons stole April's phone, and he went after Fong-" she was stopped by Daiki interrupting her.

"Mikey's in there," he said simply, point to the triangular glass skylight a few feet away from them.

Miwa walked over to it and glanced in. Upon seeing her little brother chained to the wall and at the mercy of Dogpound, she growled and reached for her tantō. Daiki however put his hand on the hilt, stopping her from rushing off.

"Calm down, if you rush in there by yourself your gunna put him in more danger." He huffed out annoyed, "Can't you call one or both of the other two for help?"

"No, they've got their own problem to deal with." Miwa mumbled, too concerned about her littlest brother to give him an actual reason.

"So your telling me, your prepared to go against Bradford alone?" He asked carefully, questioning her sanity.

Miwa's reply to said question was to cross her arms and give a confident smirk.

Looking at her now, Daiki couldn't help but notice that she didn't share many features with her father. In fact she looked more like Saki's late wife. Her eyes however, were the main thing that caught his attention, as they were a pretty shade of amber colour. Which was a trait neither parents had. Saki has black eyes, where Shen had brown eyes. It was then that he realized. He had the chance to tell her the truth. About her real father...

"Miwa...?" Daiki asked cautiously. "Do you trust me?"

This caught Miwa off guard. And made her look up at him with a hint of confusion, taking a moment to fully think about it. Daiki was apart of the Foot. Her enemy. His Master was trying to kill her father, and had actually killed her mother. Her logical brain told her that she should just walk away.

But she couldn't help but feel like he had a good side to him? Maybe Mikey's good heart had rubbed off on her. As she listened to her heart and stay on the roof to hear him out.

"I trust you. Enough" she said slightly unsure.

"I have to tell you something important." He pleaded bluntly, looking her in the eyes.

"Ok. What?" Miwa replied sceptically,

"It's about you, Miwa." He said uncomfortably. He paused for a moment, putting his hands together and breathing in, not sure how to break this to her. "Why is this so much harder then I thought it'd be..."

"What, am I not as easy to talk too as Mikey?" She implied, raising her hands slightly while getting offended over nothing.

"No Miwa" He shock his head in annoyance, (and slight fear) "Because... Y-Your the daughter of my Master!"

"I'm what?" She asked again. Making sure he was serious. Taking in his straight face, she realized that he was actually serious. Miwa couldn't help but chuckle, then full on laughed in his face, "Lemme guess? The Shredder told you that right? That I'm his daughter, and that Splinter killed my mother?"

"Yes! Because it's true Miwa!" Daiki shouted, annoyed that she didn't believe him.

"Yeah, um no. It's not." She stated, wiping her tears, "He's just an obsessed freak. His been obsessed with my mother ever since his childhood, he and my father always fought for my mother's attention. But in the end, she chose Hamato Yoshi." She told him before continuing,

"Saki was so blinded by hate for Yoshi, that he swore to take everything from him. But he then learnt on top of all of that, that he was actually adopted by the Hamato Clan. And that his father, my grandfather, was actually the man who killed his biological father, and his Clan. So he eventually completely lost it, and swore to end the Hamato clan. He became an obsessed psychopath, who in his fight for my father's life, ended up killing my mother instead."

Daiki could hear the sadness in her voice as she finished. He wanted nothing more then to help her with that pain. "Miwa. What if Yoshi is twisting the truth? What if he-"

"The Shredder is the one twisting the truth, Daiki!" She shouted at him, getting into his face, "He's a liar! And your just to blind to see that."

He looked away awkwardly, unsure of how he could help someone who was blind to the truth-

"I wouldn't be surprised if he's been lying to you about other things."

He looked back up at her in shock. Saki would never lie to him-

There it is again... That feeling from when he was around the Hamatos, from all thoses years ago. That gnawing feeling inside, screaming at him that something was wrong.

Was this...a warning of some kind...?

"Daiki?" Miwa's worried voice cut slightly through the haze that covered his thoughts. His reaction was not what she expected. It looked like he was having an panic attack.

"I-I..I'm fine." He stuttered out quietly, turning away from her.

She sighed in response, "I...I have to get Mikey. If your still here afterwards, maybe we can talk." Miwa declared as she began to walk towards the skylight.

Daiki was about to question her on what she meant, when he caught sight of two green figures in the distance. Followed closely by a sudden shiny blur, which soon got bigger and bigger.

"Um. Looks like you won't need too." Daiki muttered out as he backed up slowly,

"What do you mean by that?" Miwa asked him confused.

Daiki's only reply was to point to a rooftop a couple of meters away. As Miwa followed his finger to see what he was pointing at, she saw it. Or them. "Holy shi-"

TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT

Mikey struggled against his chains holding him to the wall while the Purple Dragons and Dogpound were with Stockman, watching as he finished the last steps in hacking the phone.

"Almost done..." Stockman announced. "Ninety-eight… ninety-nine…Yes! One hundred! And… Processing… processing…C'mon, and…finished!"

As if their timing couldn't be any better, the glass skylight above shattered as two familiar turtles mutants landed inside the building. "The turtles!" Dogpound barked.

"Not so fast,Dogpound!" said Leo holding out his sword. "And… Dexter Spackman?"

"It'sBaxter!Stockman!" The man shouted angrily.

Before anymore could be said, Dogpound charged at Leonardo, who somersaulted over him, running towards Stockman. Before Dogpound could register what had just happened, he was distracted by Raph coming in from the side, giving him a kick straight to the face.

As soon as Dogpound had been taken aside to fight Raph, Miwa and Daiki snuck in and went their separate ways. With Miwa going to join Raphael, and Daiki heading to quietly untie Mikey.

Stockman was about to unplug the phone, but Leonardo's katana sliced the wire in two, right where his hand would've been, and the blue clad ninja took the phone.

"How'd you escape my Mousers?" Stockman demanded, pointing at him.

"We didn't," Leo replied deadpan. Suddenly, more than fifty mouse like robots, came pouring in from the broken skylight, giving out mechanical shrieks as they landed and pursued anything that moved.

"Leo!" Miwa shouted angrily as she joined the robot slaughter. "You two were supposed to be getting rid of them!"

With a few quick slashes of his tantō, Daiki sliced out at Mikey's chains, releasing him,

"Here," He said tossing Mikey back his confiscated nunchucks. Only for his brothers and sister to then appear next to him.

"We're here to save the day," Raph stated smugly, patting Mikey on the shell. "As usual."

"Hey!" Michelangelo whined out annoyed.

"Oh yeah, looks like you guys were doing great." Daiki chripped in sarcastically from where he was slicing robots with his Bō blades.

"Youtry fighting off two thousand robots!" Raph snapped at the boy, pointing out said robots.

"Shut up and start slicing idiots!" Miwa yelled, slamming her tantō into one of the robots, before making her way over to where they seemed to be falling too. The Mousers seemed keen on getting close to both Raph and Leo for some reason.

With more robots pouring in through the windows and roof, The Purple Dragons decided to scram. Leaving Dogpound growling in rage as he battled his way through the raining Mousers, towards Leonardo and the phone.

Leonardo sensed Dogpound's intentions and whirled around, "Mikey!" The youngest turned at his name, "Keep-Away!" Leo shouted as he threw the phone across the room.

Mikey landed hard on his plastron as he lunged for the phone. But was quick to get up when he heard the sound of heavy footsteps running towards him from behind, Deja vu. Leo sliced another Mouser in half, and then bumped into Miwa as she backed up into him.

"What happened to 'we'll take care of it'?" Miwa shouted out annoyed to Leonardo.

"He had extra Robots! Beside, they were tracking us somehow!" he replied sharply.

Daiki sliced at a Mousers coming straight for his head in two. But suddenly crouched down next to it as he caught sight of something interesting. "A gamma camera!"

"Leonardo!" Daiki yelled, catching the Hamatos attention. "Their detecting radioisotopes." He continued explaining as said turtle came closer. "That's what he's tagged you with! It's in the spray!"

"Oh…" Raph said, catching a Mouser on his sai like a kebab. "How do we get it off!?" he shouted frustratedly.

"You can't…" Daiki said sharply, before whacking several more Mousers away with his bō, "It wears off gradually. But if someone else got sprayed, they'd give off a stronger signal."

Mikey screamed suddenly as he took a dive off of the upper floor of the building. The phone skidded out of his hands, and across the room.

The mutant dog grinned, raising both fists over his head. Suddenly, a yell came, and Miwa smacked Dogpound across the face with her tantō. Dogpound whimpered like a kicked dog and fell to the floor.

"Find Stockman's spray!" said Daiki fighting off more Mousers, "It controls the Mousers!"

"You mean that thing?" Mikey pointed at a silver can, which Stockman was holding with a cocky smile. "I'll handle this, dog-man," he said confidently. He held up the can, and pointed it at Mikey and Miwa. "One spritz, and they're Mouser chow-"

A yell from the rafters above revealed Raphael launching two shurikens at them. Said shurikens embedded themselves into the can Baxter was holding, who yelled out with Bradford as the red mist sprayed them straight in the eyes. There was a still moment as the Mousers froze completely. Their trackers bleeped as they registered their new targets.

Shrieking, they moved from Leo and Raph, to start chasing after Stockman and Dogpound.

Baxter, seeming to have realised his mistake, took of running as soon as the Mousers turnt around. But Dogpound stood still, smashing a couple of bots as they came closer. Only waiting till the Mousers had started to chew on his tail to follow the man's lead.

Stockman, who had tripped over some of the broken mousers, was scooped up by an enormous paw, as Dogpound made to run out of the building with the scientist, only stopping when he heard April's phone go off.

Picking it up, the mutant dog gave a short bark of surprise as a well aimed kunai knocked it out of his paw, pinning it to the wall, where it shattered. "Yo Dogpound!" Mikey shouted cockily as he and his siblings got closer to the dog. "That calls not for you!"

Realizing that he'd lost, and with the Mousers shrieking after him, Dogpound yelled, punching straight through the wall and running out into the night. The Hamatos watched on pleased, as the Mousers run out through the hole, chasing the mutant and the scientist down the road. They all looked at each other happily, until Michelangelo started looking around frantically. "Hey, where'd Donnie go?" Mikey asked, confused as to how he had just disappeared.

"Eh, he probably went to make sure his dog got home safe." Raph snarked back.

"Nice job, everyone." Leo said happily.

"Yeah Mikey." Raph agreed, throwing his arms over Mikey's shoulders. "From here on out, you're the A… minus Team!"

"AHHH YEAH DAWG!!" Mikey screamed in victory.

Raph pulled Mikey into a playful head lock, rubbing his youngest brother's head furiously. While Miwa threw a punch at Leo's shoulder, putting her arm around him and walking away. Looking back only momentarily, she caught sight of Daiki on top of the roof opposite them. Looking at her for a second, before taking off across the rooftops to pursue the running dog.

Tonight was a good night. Mikey had finally proved he was better then just the 'B-Team' and actually got promoted to the 'A Minus-Team'. Which was way better then B! And what better way to celebrate then a celebratory dance party.

As Mikey busted his moves, Raphael was feeding his pet turtle, Spike, while Miwa watched as Leo played on the pinball machine. A relaxing way to end their night.

"I hope you all see that by choosing your battles poorly, you created your own crisis," Splinter said from the dojo entrance.

"Yeah, you can say that again," Miwa admitted.

"Ok, it got a little out of control," said Leo, looking up from his pinball game.

"Butwelearned our lesson," Leo remarked, "and we got April's phone back."

"You did?" April said ecstatic, as she just entered the lair. "Sweet!"

Raphael held out her phone. But winced when it suddenly shattered to bits in his hand.

"Uh…" Leo stammered awkwardly. "The important thing is it didn't end up in the wrong hands…"

"Gee…" April stated deadpan. "Thanks, guys…"

Mikey put his arm around April's shoulders in a comforting hug, "Aw, don't worry, April. Maybe we can get D to make you one of his awesome custom phones!"

With the mention of said brunette, Miwa walked over to her father nervously, "Father, I met Daiki on the roof of the factory. Before going to help Mikey. He told me something today that I think you should know."

"What is it, my daughter?" Splinter replied, placing both hands on his cane.

"He told me that the Shredder was my real father, and that you killed My mother and stole me. The Shredder told him this."

Everyone in the room stopped to look towards the father and daughter duo. Splinter looked quite disturbed by the news. "To think, he's lied to his own men. And a child..."

"I- I think he believed me..." Miwa interrupted quietly.

"What do you mean he believed you?" Leonardo asked curiously.

"When I told him it was all a lie. And that the Shredder had been lying to him, he looked genuinely shocked." Miwa confirmed.

"Hmmm." Splinter mused over this information, "Saki may have indeed lied to him. Perhaps that is where his problem with me begun."

"We can only hope he learns the truth for himself. But what he does after the truth is revealed to him, is his decision. But I pray for his sake, he makes the right one." Splinter finished walking back to the dojo, he felt sorry for this poor boy. He had been dragged into this mess when he wasn't even meant to be involved.

"Ah man!" Mikey suddenly cheered, catching everyones attention, "I hope he joins our side! It'd be so cool to have D in the Hamato clan!"

The Shredder was not pleased. After the text he received from Morikawa, explaining how the Hamatos had been in the factory with them. But they had lost them due too a man and his hundreds of robots infiltrating. He was beyond livid.

The door suddenly burst open, accompanied by three people coming into the room. Two familiar, and one not.

"Ow! Hey, let go." Stockman whined out, kicking like a toddler.

Bradford dropped him hard on his butt, before addressing his Sensei, "Here he is, Master."

"Baxter Stockman." The Shredder growled at the man, more furiously then the actual dog in the room could ever muster.

"Your interference has cost me the Turtles, Splinter and Miwa! You should pay with your life." He reached down, yanking the man up off of his feet by his collar. Holding his extendable blade to the man's nose bridge.

"Fortunately for you, I may have use for your skills." He finished by throwing the man down to which he shuffled back scared. Only to turn and see the extending claws of the dog mutant behind him. Sneering at him pleased.

It had been a couple of hours since the events in the throne room. Baxter had been set the task of making Xever robotic legs. And was left in the Foot headquarters lab. While Shredder, Bradford and a few others went to one of the briefing rooms to talk about 'Business Proposals'. It had been a while since he'd seen anyone in the halls, so Daiki decided to go and train.

As the Foot soldier walked down the darkened corridor to the dojo in silence, Daiki couldn't help but feel like he was missing something. What Miwa had said on the roof... it had him thinking...

He caught sight of Bradford leaving the meeting room ahead of him. Only for said mutant to slow down and eventually join him in his walk down the hall. His Sensei wanted to tell him something. He seemed to be looking around the hallways alot more then was usual, and he kept looking back.

Bradford stopped abruptly, looking ahead with a unreadable expression before pulling the boy aside down a corridor, Daiki felt the need to bring up the question. "Um. Sensei, is something wrong?"

The mutant turned to reply, looking at the shirt boy in front of him with a concerned but steady look in his eye.

"Listen to me, Kid." Bradford stated sternly. His voice slightly dipping as he went from a low talk to a whisper, "You gotta decide which side your on. And you gotta do it fast." He warned, "I heard something in the briefing room today..."

"What is it?" Daiki whispered cautiously.

"The Master is bringing someone here from Asia. To take down the turtles once and for all." Bradford stated.

"Xever is out of the game till Stickman makes him legs, He thinks I'm incapable of handling things, And he thinks your too soft to actually finish the job." He states to Daiki with a worried expression.

"This guy he's bringing...he's killed men for even talking to the enemy. Kids your age Daiki-" He stopped himself mid-sentence. Almost holding back on some gruesome detail. He was looking around again nervously, making sure no one was near.

He was scared to be heard. Bradford was scared, for him...

When he didn't continue, Daiki took that as his moment to talk.

"I don't need to decide, Sensei." Daiki reassured him confidently, "I am loyal to the Foot, And our Master."

"Good." Bradford said simply. patting the boy's shoulder awkwardly, before taking off down the opposite hall. "I won't tell Shredder about you and Michelangelo being friends, But you better cut the ties and fast. Before that guy gets here. For your own safety, Kid."

Daiki stopped dead in his tracks, stunned at what Bradford had just said. He could only stare, as the mutant disappeared down the hall, carrying a secret that could both ruin his life. And end it.

Note from Me!: Hope you all enjoyed this chapter! Any feedback or reviews would be great!

- Saki may have been the one who found Daiki, but he didn't raise him. Bradford trained him from five and look after him. So he has a bit of a soft spot for the boy. That shouldn't cause any problems...right?

- Did you guys like that I made Bradford and Daiki more then just coworkers? I'm not sure how people will take that lmao

- Also who is this mysterious Asian man?? :0 (I mean, you already know obviously, but they don't lol)Thanks again! :D
