Chapter 11
The crescent moon shone over the city, barely showing what lurked beneath in the dark. The Shredder glared out into the depths of his shadow-cast throne room, scowling at his henchman.
Keeping order amongst the Foot ranks was one of Bradford's many tasks as the lead henchman, and Shredder's most successful pupil. And yet, his unofficial ward, Daiki Morikawa, had now gone missing.
The fifteen year old had not been seen by any Foot, inside or out of the headquarters in the last twenty four hours. And the Shredder was growing impatient.
"Bradford, have you heard from Morikawa yet?" Shredder asked dangerously.
"Not yet, Master." Bradford gulped out, but kept up a calm facade, facing the floor in shame. "He's probably at his lab again, Master. Caught up in one of his project."
The Shredder sneered under his helmet, slamming his fist down on the arm of his chair. "Foolish boy, you will both be punished for wasting my time like this."
Bradford inwardly cursed to himself, he didn't know what he had coming, or the kid, if and when he eventually returned, but he did know, that it wasn't going to be pretty.
"Tomorrow morning, we will receive a shipment of new weapons. These shall help us put an end to the turtles and Splinter." Shredder announced to the room in his dead voice, "I expect all of you there on time." He finished, shooting a last disapproving look Bradford's way.
The two henchman below him bowed, before exiting the room to continue on with their daily tasks. As well as a weird looking cockroach that had been perched along the edge of the stained-glass window, taking its leave soon after the mutants.
As Bradford began departing from the mutant fish, and towards the Foot's dojo for rookie training, his sensitive ears couldn't help but pick up the grumbling coming from beside him.
"What are you mumbling about?" The dog growled, clearly not in the mood for Xever, tensing his hands slightly to fists.
"If the boy is at his lab, why not go and retrieve him?" Xever asked, as if the answer was plainly obvious.
"Because he isn't at his lab." Bradford answered back with a hint of frustration.
"That boy is going to get us all punished! Your supposed to keep your eye on him!" Xever sneered at the mutant dog.
"You don't think i know that!" Bradford barked at the fish, "This isn't like the Kid. He wouldn't just disappear without a word."
"Well, you better hope he gets back before the Shredder gets really pissed off." Xever snarled, as he left the other mutant, his metallic feet slamming against the tiled floor as he went.
Bradford watched the fish leave, inwardly cursing himself once more for not keeping closer tabs on his own the kid.

It had been a few weeks since the TCRI break in, and the Kraang were yet to use the portal again. But as time went by, nothing happened.
That was, until Leonardo suddenly decided one night to start surveying the building.
The fern green turtle peered through their rundown old telescope to the TCRI high rise ahead of them. "Nothing happening at TCRI yet," he reported to his team, but more to himself, before putting the scope down on the ledge.
"And what exactly are we looking for, Leo?" Miwa asked sarcastically, moving to stand beside her brother. They had been on that roof for over three hours now, and Leo's siblings were slowing losing it. "It's been more than a week since the Kraang got their portal up, and nothing's come through. Why the sudden urgency to watch them?"
Just before Leo could explain their patrols reason, Mikey's distracted laughter caught his alert ear slits. Turning around quickly to see his younger brother playing a game on the phone Daiki gave him.
"This game is awesome!" Mikey said excitedly, as he mashed the buttons. "The combat is so realistic!"
Raph stood over him, looking easily agitated, closing his hand into a fist. "Do you want me to make it more realistic?"
"Guys! Stop messing around!" Leo snapped at his two younger brothers. Returning his glance back to Miwa. "We only have a small amount of info to go on, but according to what April could make out from the Kraang storage device Mikey found, some kind of scouting ship is coming through the Kraang portal, tonight." He emphasised his words by pointing to TCRI.
"Could she figure out anything else on it?" Miwa asked intrigued.
Leo shook his head, "She said the codes were to complicated for her to hack any further. Only being about to make out the Kraang bringing a stealth ship through, then she have up on it."
Raphael folded his arms across his chest, "Great, so the start of an Alien invasion."
Leo turned to the orange-clad turtle, who was still mashing away at his game. "So we all have to stay alert!" he said sternly.
"I'm afraid that ship has already sailed." Replied a familiar voice from up above them.
The Hamatos spun around in alarm, weapons drawn, to see that Daiki was watching them. Sitting on top of the water tanker, looking quite smug with himself. Though he was lacking his usual Foot uniform and instead had on a simple black hoodie and dark jeans.
"What are YOU doing here!" Raphael snapped impatiently, pointing an accusing sai at the Foot ninja.
"Stakeout." Daiki replied blankly, shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly at the angered turtle.
"So, you just happened to be on the same roof as us then, scrawny?" Miwa questioned sarcastically.
"I'm not scrawny, I'm svelte!" Daiki shouted at her, jumping down to the rooftop, and giving a confident gap-toothed smirk. "And why I'm here is simple. I want to help you bring down the Kraang."
The Hamatos blinked in unison. "What?" Miwa asked for confirmation.
"You heard me," Daiki said crossing his arms. "I want to fight the Kraang with you."
"Really!" Mikey squealed in glee, only to yelp in pain as Raph's elbow met his stomach.
Leo looked at him, considering for a moment, then his face fell slightly. "Sorry Daiki. But that's not gunna happen." Leo said nonchalantly.
"Why not?" Daiki argued back, almost offended.
Raphael scoffed, expressing his annoyance, "Um, because you're loyal to the Shredder?"
"He's gotcha there," Miwa said, folding her arms as she walked over to stand next to Raph.
The boy faltered for a moment, looking at the concrete ground for words. "B-but I can help! And besides, I already know about this supposed 'Alien invasion'." He waved his hand slightly, "You guys don't exactly talk quietly, you know?"
At that exact moment, thunder clouds started rumbling loudly above them, and large bolts of lightning flashed. Loud enough to grab the attention away from all five ninjas, making them look back towards the TCRI building. The top of the building started flooding with pink light, vanishing almost as quickly as it came. Large metal doors slid open, and a huge, silvery ufo shape object appeared in the pink lit tunnel. Slowly making its decent over the city.
"This can't be good," Leo said simply, as the ninjas gaped at the ship coming slowly toward them.
"Um, guys? I think I need to change my shell," Mikey muttered.
The stealth ship changed directions mid-air, and started heading straight for the five of them, as they then proceeded to start backing away a bit.
"So, Leonardo, I'm guessing you have a plan for taking that thing down then?" Asked Daiki sarcastically.
"Pfft! Of course I do," said Leo back with overconfidence. "Step one…" The ship then started to shoot a pink laser beam out of its eye, "RUN!"
The ninjas leapt from the building as another blast hit the roof. Swinging from balconies and fire escapes to get safely onto the next rooftop before scaling down to the street below. The ship then started to scan the area for them, whilst hot on their tails.
"Well," Leonardo questioned Daiki back quickly, "Have you got a plan, Genius!"
"Not off the top of my head, No!" Daiki yelled to the turtle as he glances over his shoulder while they all continued to run.
"Watch your shells!" Mikey screamed as another laser was let off at them. The ninjas skidded straight onto the road as they ran from the blast.
They run a few feet further before turning into an alleyway and hiding behind a parked car, all quietly waiting. Glancing up as they heard the sound of the ship passing over them, "Do you think it knows where we are?" Mikey whispers in fear.
"Yeah. Maybe." Leo replied simply.
They all froze as the car they were all hiding behind was suddenly lifted from the ground, leaving them all sat in the open, with the ship floating right above them holding the car like it weighed nothing. They all screamed in terror and jumped away as the car fell back down towards them.
"We gotta get out of here!" Daiki states in fear.
Leo quickly scans the area for anything they can use to escape. "Find a manhole!" He yells, standing up and racing towards the ship, "I'll draw their fire!"
As the Kraang ship soon became occupied with trying to shoot down Leonardo, the others searched for a sewer entrance. Hearing Leo taunting the ship in the distance as they looked, "Over here, cyclops!"
Miwa found a manhole pretty quickly, and called the others over as Raph helped lift the cover up. Mikey and Miwa jumped in no questions asked. With only Daiki pulling a few repulsed faces as he climbed down the wet ladder, wiping his hands on Mikey's plastron when he joined the other two at the bottom of the sewers, too which the orange-clad turtle started shouting. "Ew! Dude!!"
"Leo, come on!" Raphael shouted, before jumping down into the sewer himself. Joined quickly after by Leo, closing the cover behind him.
Raph and Leo took a place right next to Miwa, while Mikey and Daiki had a small slapping fight amongst themselves.
The teens watched on tensely through the sidewalk grate as the Kraang ship continued scanning the area, before coming to a halt. Then, it flickered, and disappeared into the night sky.
"Oh, great," Raph said sarcastically. "Cause it wasn't scary enough when we could see it."
The Hamatos retreated into the sewer tunnels just as the police were arriving to the scene. Meanwhile, Daiki stayed for a few moments, looking out at the sky where the ship last was, almost working something out in his head, before disappearing a separate way to others.

Luckily for the ninjas, Master Splinter was gathered in the dojo when they arrived, with April practicing her katas a few feet away.
Leonardo had just finished reporting to his father what had happened that night, and the three turtles and their human sister were now knelt down in front of their Sensei.
"I'm not sure if we can trust him completely yet," Leo said. "But he would be an asset to the team?"
"Yeah he could!" Mikey shouted from on the far end of the line. "He's like, got a way with machines!"
"It's Daiki!" Raph snapped impatiently, "And he's clearly planning something guys! If we team up with him, he'll send us straight to the Shredder! We can't trust him!"
"But…" Leo sighed exasperatedly, before looking up at Splinter. "Sensei, do you think we should go for it?"
"Perhaps," said Splinter. "Loyalties have been known to shift, My children. But, it is you who must realise if it is a trap, or a friend that is waiting on the other side."
Leonardo looked at him suspiciously. "So, he either will or won't betray us again?"
"Correct. You must trust your instincts," Splinter turned and headed towards his room. "But, beware the trap of believing something to be true simply because you wish it to be so."
"So, we should trust our instincts… unless our instincts are wrong?" Leo asked, sounding more confused.
Splinter answered with a simple, "Correct."
Leo stared after him for a moment, then sighed. "Thanks, Sensei…"
"Wow," Mikey breathed. "You know its good advice when you're still confused afterwards!"
"Guys! Seriously?" Raph snapped. "Why are we even talking about this? He's already proven just how 'trustworthy' he is when he stole from us!"
"Well," said April, catching the attention of the Hamatos. "It would be nice having someone on our side who can actually understand technology? He could be a big help with the Kraang!"
"So maybe an alliance of sorts wouldn't be a bad thing?" Leo questioned to himself in thought.
"But we don't know if he's going to lead us into something." Miwa said shaking her head.
"Well, I trust him." Mikey said casually, earning looks from his brothers and sister.
"I do too." April added. "Everyone deserves a second chance, right?"
Raphael groaned, "Leo, you're not seriously considering this, are you?" He asked hopefully, but when he saw the thoughtful look in his brother's sapphire eyes, he rolled his own emerald pair and headed to the living room to beat some sense into the other dummy in the lair.
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
Raphael's sai spun through the air as he launched them, sinking into the training dummy's chest easily. Leonardo, on the other hand, was pacing back and forth not too far away as the rest of the team remained nearby.
Trying to put the Daiki situation on hold, they all started thinking back to the stealth ship they only just managed to escape from earlier. With that thing floating around New York invisible, the city wasn't safe.
"That Kraang ship is incredibly dangerous," Leo said voicing his thoughts. "We've gotta figure out what it's doing here!"
"Or," Raph said spinning his sai in his hands. "We could just skip to the part where we destroy it." He says stabbing the dummy, knocking it off its restraint, where Mikey picked it up off the floor.
"You're pretty tough when they can't hit you back," he teased and Raph lifted his fist up. Mikey yelled as he used the dummy as a shield. Only for Raph to sigh and turn his attention to Leo instead of punching Mikey.
"So what are we waiting for? Let's gear up and challenge that thing to a rematch!" He said punching his knuckles together.
"First we need to find a way to find a ship that's invisible," Leo points out.
"Maybe Donnie could help? He said he's willing to help us with the Kraang?" Mikey asked as he played with the dummy.
"Daiki is an option, yes. But he should be our last one, Mikey. We don't know if he truly is trying to help, or if he just wants to use us to get to Splinter." Leo finished as he turnt back to Raph and Miwa.
Unaware that Mikey was now texting someone.
"I know, how about we shoot into the air until we hit it?" Raph suggested.
"That...doesn't sound too smart." Leo replied.
"What if you hit someone?" Miwa questioned him.
"Yeah Raph, not too smart there, buddy," Mikey mocks and Raph turns, holding up his fist again. Mikey hides behind the dummy as he yells in terror. Only to be saved mere seconds as the phone vibrated on the floor.
"Oh hey! He's replied!" Mikey chirped as he went to get the phone.
Only for Leo to walk over and picked it up instead, "What did I just tell you?" He said irritated at Mikey, who smiled back innocently. Leo opened the phone and relayed the message to the team.
'We could try shooting waves of electromagnetic radiation to detect the ship?' Daiki's text to the Hamatos read.
"The heck does that mean?" Raphael questioned. Leo shrugged and asked Daiki in a more civil way then his hot headed brother had put it.
The response back took a few moments before coming through. 'Radar. I've built some radar beacons we can set up around town. If the ship gets near to any of them, you'll get an alarm on this phone.'
"Huh, well, It's the best plan we got so far." Leo said sighing, passing the phone back to Mikey. "Tell Daiki to meet us where we were earlier, then let's split up and place those beacons."
"Um. Since when did we start doing as the enemy asked?" Raph asked, glaring at Mikey, "Tell him we ain't gonna do his dirty work!" He finished, folding his arms and huffing as Mikey text back Raph's response.
Receiving a answer pretty quickly, "He asked if your chicken?" Mikey asked jokingly, smirking along with his sister and blue-clad brother.
Raph's eyes shot open. "Tell him to meet us in thirty minutes!" He yelled at the freckled turtle. "I'll show him who's chicken!" He grumbled, stomping towards his room to prepare for the mission.
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
It had been almost twenty eight hours since he left headquarters.
Leaving no trace to his whereabouts, and ignoring all forms of contact Bradford tried using to find him. He completely dishonoured the Shredder, and the Foot clan, and he knew that the mutant dog would end up paying for it in someway shape or form.
He knew that if he were to go back, the punishment would be a mixture of a fourty eight hour long training session with no breaks or rests as the Shredder's personal punching bag, followed by a starvation period of four days, though that one wasn't much of a punishment to him, and a ban on all things electrical for two months or more.
And sometimes, Bradford would even give his own form of punishment, for making him look bad infront of his Master.
But Daiki didn't plan on returning anytime soon. He had made up his mind. Never again was he going to be under the Foot's influence. The only way he'd ever go back to the Clan, would be to blow the entire headquarters sky high, or if he was brainwashed and out of his mind!
There wasn't a thought in his head that night as he ran from the building, adrenaline was surging through his body, forcing him forwards against his will.
Using one of the secret basement tunnels, he soon found himself on the rooftops in a matter of minutes. He hadn't been far from the headquarters when it finally all hit him and the adrenaline began to wear off. He collapsed, breaking down into heavy sobs on the rooftop.
The shock, the pain, the lies... it was just too much. To learn that his life for the past ten years was nothing more then another part of the Shredder's stupid vendetta between his Clan and the Hamatos. The Hamatos of whom, turned out to be relatives of his. It was too much!
His mind was over-working itself with hundreds of questions, racing through his head as he tried to calm down. He tried coming up some sort of logical explanation and reason for his messed up life, to make sense of it all.
He tried to figure out when it truly went wrong. So he took a moment to allow his thoughts to take over, with question after question popping into his head.
His mother, Hana Morikawa, she was a Hamato, but Saki had said she changed her name, so what was it before? Had she gone by Hana before she met his father- wait, had his father known she was a Hamato?
Was she a trained Kunoichi by the Hamato clan? He knew his mother was able to defend herself, and quite well actually. He had been there once when she was almost mugged on her way to work, but she had put the man on the floor before he even got his gun of his holster.
But why had she gone undercover?
Was it because she heard of Yuuta's death?
He needed to stop. This fixation with the past was distracting him from the present.
But the past held his family, the ones he missed the most in this messed up world, and he was done with being alone...
Daiki shock his head from last nights thoughts. Trying to concentrate on the task at hand as a temporary distraction.
He was putting all his hope into this plan, but as always, he was his worst critic.
What if his beacons didn't work? He really should of tested them before pitching the idea. What if the Kraang can't be tracked with radar? Maybe we should just go with Plan B?
No!
That was only in the events that Plan A failed. And then, and only then, would he consider Plan B.
The text from last night was the sole inspiration for his crazy idea. 'The arms deal is going down at the docks tomorrow morning, 4am. Don't be late.' Bradford had meant that as a warning. A way of saying, 'Stop screwing me and yourself over, Kid.'
But Daiki saw it as an opportunity, not a threat.
That arms deal had been in the works for weeks. There were going to be shotguns, pistols, katanas, shurikens, blades of all kinds! And much, much more. But the thing that made Plan B, were the Missile launchers. If the stealth ship was too tough for blades, then they would need fire power. And what better way, then a missile launcher to blow the ship up into a beautiful fiery explosion?
He shock his head at the negative voice contradicting him and his inventions. Plan A is fine, and the beacons were fine! He packed all the beacons into a large gym bag and slung it over his shoulders.
Pulling out his beat-up motorcycle from the small garage area, he took a moment for his mahogany eyes to focus on his quiet little lab. He'll have to get all his stuff to a safe location before the Shredder sends someone over to destroy it.
He sighed, closing the doors and taking off down the street to the meet up spot.
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
The Hamatos met up with Daiki in the alleyway below were they first encountered the stealth ship on earlier today.
With a radar beacon given to each ninja, they were given their instructions. Place their beacons on the designated roofs and head back to the alleyway to wait for the ship to activate one of them.
Leo was given the Hamatos phone, as his beacon was the furthest, "Tribeca beacon installed." He announced into the phone after finishing.
Daiki's voice came over instantly, "That's the last of them. Raphael, Miwa and Mikey have finished up too and should be waiting at the alleyway. I'll join you all in a bit."
Leo nodded, even though Daiki couldn't see that. "See you back at the alley." With that Leo took off to the meet up point. Finding Miwa, Mikey and Raph already there and looking bored.
"Where's Daiki?" Miwa asked Leo, knowing he was the only one to have contact with him.
"He said he's on his way." Leo confirmed for his team, "So not long now-"
*Beep*
Miwa raised her eyebrow, "What was that?"
Leo took the phone out of his belt, seeing a red dot appear on the screen before fading away. The phone then started beeping again, getting louder and more frequent, flashing the dot over and over. Warning them that something was coming closer, and fast!
"The beacons are picking up something!" Leo announced.
"Oh! Maybe it's Santa!" Mikey said enthusiastically. But his hopes were quickly shut down. As down the street, the four teens could see the stealth ship fading into view, floating above the rooftops. "Nope, it's the Kraang ship. Ugh, that's a bummer." Mikey moaned sadly.
"We should take cover." Leo shouted as the ship approached, spinning around to face the alleyway. Its large eye then started to glow pink, charging itself up. "Now!"
The Hamatos threw themselves across the alley, as the laser hit a dumpster, obliterated it in a pink explosion. From having to launch himself across the road, Leo lost his grip on the phone, flinging it at the wall where his freckled brother caught it just before it hit.
"Um, D! The stealth ship is here!" Mikey shouted into the phone, having to dodge as another beam was sent to the wall he was leaning against. "Like right here!"
"Already?!" Daiki's voice yelled in alarm, "Alright just don't do anything stupid! I'm almost there!" The Hamatos screamed as another beam was shot at them.
"Hurry dude! That's like our thing!" Mikey exclaimed, making Raph growl next to him.
"I'll show him stupid!" Raph snapped in irritation.
"Raph! What are you doing!" Leo yelled as his brother walked right in front of the stealth ship.
The red-clad turtle then threw a handful of shurikens at the ship, but they did nothing to halt its destruction. Instead, the ship stopped dead in it's tracks, spinning to face the Hamatos, before charging up its laser beam once more.
"You idiot!!" Miwa growled, as she and her other brothers took cover behind the only surviving dumpster.
The sound of an engine revving closer could be heard all around the alleyway as the Hamatos looked up towards the sky.
When a motorcycle launched itself off of the roof above them, landing with a loud thud onto the road just in front of them.
The Kraang stealth ship stopped charging it's laser as it flew higher above the alley, around the same time that the bike had fell to the ground.
A foot soldier has leapt off said bike and onto the ship. Pulling out a bō staff, and stabbing it straight through the roof of the ship.
The ship spun around, trying to knock the person off. But it soon gave up on spinning and flew off, with the stranger still hanging on.
"That was Daiki!" said Leo as he and the others watched on in shock.
"Well, so much for being chicken." Miwa remarked much to Raphael's annoyance.
"We've gotta go and help him!" Mikey said firmly, trying to pull Leo and Miwa's arms with him.
Raph ran up to the orange-clad turtle and slapped himacross the back of the head, "He can take care of himself! Let's put some distance between that thing and us!"
"No! We can't!" Mikey begged but was cut off by Leo's hand raising in a 'silence' position.
"We need a plan, Mikey. We can't just go charging in on that thing!" Leo said sternly, "Like he did." He finished with annoyance.
"Then...then I'll go by myself!" Mikey yelled as he dash out of the alley and for the motorcycle laying discarded in the street.
"Wait!"
"Hold on!"
"Mikey!"
He hoped onto the bike and kicked the pedal, hoping he had started it right, and revved the handles before shooting off down the street, "I'll be back in a minute!" He all but screamed back to the others.
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
Down the street and about fifty feet in the air, and still ascending, Daiki was not having a good time.
"This...totally...sucks!" He yelled between each breath, as he continuously tried to stab through the roof of the ship. But the Kraang were quick to act and turnt the ship sideways, making Daiki dig his bō deeper into the roof as he hung on, dangling above a now one hundred foot drop to the streets below.
The blade then began to shift slightly, and slide out of the metal roof, leading Daiki to slowly lose his grip on the bō, and the ship. "Oh, of course! Because for a second this was too easy!" He fumed as he looked down to the fast approaching roofs.
Deciding his best course of act was to jump, he released his bō's blade back into the staff and dropped himself onto the rooftop below. Rolling to a stop before he hit the ledge. Recovering quickly, only to see the ship was now charging straight towards him, readying its laser, aimed directly at him.
"Uh oh..."
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
Meanwhile, Michelangelo was clinging onto Daiki's motorcycle for dear life, speeding towards the stealth ship from behind as it followed the foot ninja on the rooftops closely. But the Kraang had caught onto him faster then he could escape and were preparing to blast him with the laser beam.
To avoid the upcoming laser, Daiki leapt from the rooftop and onto the fire escape below. Unaware that the blast had hit the metal supports of the escape, knocking him down with it.
He screamed as he fell for a brief moment, only to get caught in mid-air. "Mikey!"
The freckled turtle revd Daiki's bike as he caught him, yelling a victory "Booyahkasha!" as the bike screeched down the road.
Glancing up at the Stealth Ship, which was targeting the two once more, Daiki gripped the sides of Mikey's shell and crouched low on the back of the bike. "Step on it!", Mikey did so, and revved the bike once more, shooting away from the street and round a corner, leaving the ship miles away.
"Thank you, Mikey" Daiki sighed in relief once they were out of the ship's sight.
Mikey nodded to him. "No prob, D!"
"Hey," Daiki asked from the back, "Where did you learn how to ride a motorcycle?"
Mikey was silent for a minute, before answering with a guilty smile. "Um, I didn't?" The bike then swerved and hit the sidewalk, sending the two ninjas flying into the air, and landing inside of an open dumpster with disgusted groans.
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
Daiki didn't stop driving until he was certain they had lost the Stealth Ship, finally pulling up in the alleyway where the other Hamatos were waiting anxiously for their brother.
As Mikey jumped down from the back of the bike, picking off a missed piece of garbage from his shoulder, he immediately got bombarded by an incredibly peeved Raphael.
"Mikey! What's wrong with you!?" Raph demanded, smacking his little brother round the head and folding his arms over his chest with a grunt.
"I couldn't just leave him alone with that thing!" Mikey said annoyed. "He just saved our shells, Bros! I think he's earned our trust back, right?" He looked to Leo pleadingly, but seeing his brothers sceptical eye, he added, "And! he totally has a new plan bros!" he grabbed Daiki's shoulders from behind, and made a pleading face.
The leader in blue sighed at his brother's puppy dog eyes, looking at his other two team mates who shrugged in response. "Fine. Let's hear him out."
"You're the boss," Raph groaned, leaning against the surviving dumpster.
"Ok, well. I do indeed have a plan B," said Daiki getting straight to the point. "You see, the reason I jumped onto the ship, was to test its exterior shell with my blade." He proceeded to pull out his bō, setting the blade off and showing it too the Hamatos. The blade was covered in slight knocks and scratches. "To sum it up, we're not going to be able to take down that Kraang ship with swords and nunchucks."
"Hey! Never diss the chucks, bro." Mikey added confidently, rubbing his garbage covered nunchakus against his cheek.
Daiki rolled his eyes at the orange clad turtle. "What I'm trying to say is, you're going to need a real weapon to take down the stealth ship."
"Oh, yeah?" Raph said skeptically. "Like what?"
Daiki gave him a confident smile, "What if you had a shoulder fired missile launcher?"
Raph was silent for a moment. "Huh. I'm starting to like this new Daiki." He admitted to Leo.
Miwa arched her brow to him. "Where are we going to find a missile launcher?" She asked suspiciously.
Daiki smiled. "Shredder." The Hamatos all froze.
"Uh, we're talking about the same Shredder, right?" said Mikey nervously. "Big dude. Lots of blades… Really hates us?"
"Yeah, something tells me he's not gonna wanna share his toys with us," Raph added.
"Well, I wasn't planning on sharing." Daiki stated sarcastically. "Tomorrow morning at the docks, the Shredder is getting a shipment of weapons. I can get you one of his missile launchers to take down the Kraang ship with!"
Raph looked warily to the others. "Anyone else smell a trap?"
"Sorry," said Mikey, raising a hand sheepishly. "That was me."
Miwa rolled her eyes at her little brother, before looking at Daiki with a straight face, amber eyes reading his body language. "What reason do we have to believe you won't betray us again?"
"You're the only ones who know what the Kraang are up to, meaning your the only ones who can stop them. And last time I checked, I live on the planet their trying to destroy?" Daiki supplied.
"True," admitted Miwa, "But when we let you help us last time, you kind of stabbed us in the back." She pointed out plainly, Raphael nodded in agreement.
"Fine," Daiki snapped, throwing his hands in the air defeated. "Then I'll get the missile launcher for myself, and I'll take care of the ship!"
Leo put a hand in front of Daiki before he could walk out of the alley. "You're really willing to steal from Shredder?" said Leo skeptically.
"Yes, I am." said Daiki determined, intelligent mahogany eyes meeting wise sapphire ones, "Because you were right, Leonardo." His eyes flickered to the others, "All of you were."
"About what?" Leo questioned.
"About the Shredder." He said with a furious tone, "He's a liar, and I was too blind to see it. So I'm leaving the Foot Clan." He kept his eyes on the floor, as the turtles and Miwa exchanged confused looks.
"And what better way to get back at him, then messing up his plans a little? Pretty harmless if you ask me." He said with a smirk. "We can use his weapons for good, unlike him. So if you guys won't do anything about the ship, then I will, with you, or without you."
Leo scowled a little in thought, then shot his siblings a look. Mikey nodded excitedly. Miwa glared at Leo, and looked away, disapproving of the plan, while Raph raised his arms in a whatever gesture, also turning away.
"Alright," Leo said finally. "If you can get us the missile launcher to take down the ship, then we'll trust you to help out with the Kraang invasion."
Daiki smiled happily and nodded, holding out his gloved human hand. Leo allowed himself a small grin back, and clasped his large green hand around the boy's smaller one, shaking and sealing the deal.

With a few messages between the Hamatos and the Ex-Foot ninja, a plan was finally set. Tomorrow morning, Daiki will go to the docks with the Foot, and 'check in' on the weapons. Then sneak a missile launcher away from Shredder and to the Hamatos, who will be waiting for him close by, hidden on the storage containers. After they obtain the launcher, they will go off, locate the Kraang ship using the beacons, and destroy it once and for all.
So for now, the Hamatos had to wait till morning. Keeping themselves occupied in the living room while they waited.
Mikey was the first to break the silence that fell over the waiting ninjas. "Stoked! I can't believe we're getting a missile launcher! What should we blow up first?"
Raphael looked up from the pinball game he was playing, as he mentally questioned his brother. "Uh, the Kraang ship?"
"Oh, right...what should we blow up second?" Mikey asked back.
"That's if Daiki can pull it off," Leonardo stated firmly from where he was currently practicing on the dummy, kicking it with a little more force than usual.
"Aw, Leo!" Mikey said smugly. "Are you worried about him?"
Leo turned around scowling at his youngest brother, "It isn't gonna be easy," he pointed out. "Shredder's gonna be there, and-"
"I think your worrying too much, Leo," Miwa interrupted carefully. "The kid was literally raised by the maniac, he'll be fine."
"Hey wait!" Raph suddenly turned away from the pinball machine and towards the others. "For once, we know where Shredder's gonna be ahead of time! Which means… we could set a trap for him!"
"What?!" Leo exclaims, followed by a shocked look from Mikey and a calculating one from Miwa, "We made a deal with Daiki, we can't just go behind his back! This is about that Kraang ship. They wanna take us out!-"
"So does Shredder," Raph reminded the blue-clad turtle. "This may be our only chance to take him by surprise, are we really gonna pass that up?"
"I hate to say it," Miwa added, putting down her magazine and joining her red-clad brother. "But Raph's right."
Leo looked up at them and sighed, more towards himself then the others. "Well… it is an idea…?"
Mikey shook his head frantically. "No, Leo! We made a deal with Donnie, we can't go back on it."
Raph narrowed his eyes at Mikey before walking up towards Leo, placing his hand on his shoulder in encouragement. "Leo, c'mon! Daiki said himself that he wanted revenge on the Shredder? He'd be up for it! So why shouldn't we?"
Leo sighed, "Alright, Let's take down the Shredder."
Raphael grinned and went back to his game, along with Miwa who was challenging him to a match. While Mikey hung back, giving Leo upset baby blue eyes, before going off too his room.
Leaving Leo to wonder if this was the right decision.

At the early hours of the next day, a few hours before the city began to buzz with its everyday life, a shady deal was taking place down at the docks.
Tigerclaw, Xever, Bradford and Daiki all met with their armoured Master at the designated location before the dealer came. Wanting to have a upper hand, should the deal go south.
As Daiki stood towards the back of the group, he had to train his eyes downward to avoid all the stares that bore into him. From both his sides, Bradford and Xever glared at the boy disapprovingly, while Tigerclaw and the Shredder simply studied him under careful eyes.
The Shredder fixed his cold gaze on the anxious young boy, and took that moment to note Morikawa's body language, nervous, anxious.
His eerie gaze also observed Bradford, who was staring down the boy like he could break him with just a hard glare. The look Bradford gave him was that of disapproval.
But the way the two were avoiding eye contact meant that Bradford hadn't known where Morikawa was, and Morikawa hadn't told Bradford.
So the dog had lied to him.
He mentally reminded himself to punish the lying mutant and the boy after this deal for the unscheduled absence, and dishonor on his clans name, before turning his attention to a red car parking up by the dock warehouse. Of which, the dealer stepped out.
Ivan Steranko, a large and muscular blond-haired Russian man with a thick accent to match, joined them on the dock.
Steranko wore a black suit with shoulder pads that each had two gold spikes on them, a black dress shirt, a red tie, an Ushanka with a yellow star on it, and on his fists, two golden knuckle dusters. But his most distinguishing feature however, was that he seemed to be missing his right eye, having replaced it with a diamond studded prosthetic.
"Where is the shipment?" The Shredder asked in a no question asked tone, wanting to get this over with.
Ivan Steranko grinned at the man's tone, "You brought what I requested?"
Shredder sneered at the gluttonous man, "See for yourself." He announced as Bradford walked up to the Russian with a briefcase full of dollar bills.
The Shredder turnt to address Xever, "Check the artillery." To which the fish nodded, and compiled.
Steranko smirked as the Shredder sent his henchmen to check the weapons, "Don't you trust me? We are old friends."
The Shredder's steely eyes read the man's true intentions. "I'd be a foul to trust the likes of you, Steranko. Just inspect the case so we can move this along."
As the tension rose between the Shredder and the Russian man, Daiki took that as his moment to slip away from the others. Taking a narrow alleyway made by two closely packed storage containers to get right next to the artillery the Russian brought and had his men drop off.
As he arrived, Xever had just finished his inspection and took off back to the main group.
Daiki glanced around momentarily, to find that the others were all too distracted by the Russian to look in the direction of the weapons, giving him a big enough opening to sneak out of the narrow space and to the closest wooden box to him. Lifting the lid silently up too see his prize waiting within arms reach-
"Morikawa!"
Daiki stiffened at the approaching voice, but kept his composer calm. In a swift movement, he spun around to face the incoming mutant who didn't look pleased in the slightest at his presence near the weapons.
"You were not authorised to check the artillery." Tigerclaw growled with an authoritative tone.
"I know, but I don't trust Xever's judgement on these types of things." Daiki lied back, rubbing his neck with his eyes still fixed on the launcher.
Tigerclaw's mouth turned to a snarl, giving him a deep wrinkle across his snout, as his eyes narrowed suspiciously on the boy. However, his snarl quickly changed, turning the corners of his lips upwards to make a sinister smile.
"Then make sure you check them well, Cub." He answered with a suspicious tone. Backing up and proceeding to rejoin the other Foot across the dock.
Daiki let out the breath he didn't know he was holding in as he watched the tiger vanish from eye sight, "Ok, that was weird!" He remarked to himself as he made for the missiles once more.
Checking one of them over, before grabbing it and running back to the narrow space between the containers. Once he was in the middle of the gap, he hoisted himself up onto the boxes, making his way across them like he did the rooftops in the city, till he came across three green figures and one maroon one, all waiting for his arrival.
He landed next to them with a winning smile, and presented the awaited weapon. "One missile launcher acquired"
"Ah sweet dude!" Mikey cheered as he ran over to try and take it, but was shoved aside by his red-clad brother taking the dangerous weapon and giving it to the leader. Sending a scowl his youngest brothers way.
Leonardo studied the weapon, "Daiki, we've had a change in plans."
Daiki blinked in shock and confusion, "Oh yeah?"
"Yeah, we're gunna set a trap for the Shredder." Raphael finished eagerly, clearly happy that his plan was being used.
"Now that we have the Launcher we can take out the Kraang Ship, but until it passes by one of your beacons, we should make use of the fact that the Shredder is here and isn't expecting us." Miwa stated simply.
"So, got any ideas on how to trap him?" Leo asked curiously, hoping the brunet would have some crazy idea to them. But there was something in Daiki's mahogany eyes, that Leo didn't like the looks off.
Daiki eyes flickered down to the weighty launcher in Leo's hands, "Why trap him?" He asked rhetorically, "When we can kill him."
Four pairs of eyes all blinked in unison as they froze at Daiki's words, "What was that?" Leo asked nervously, hoping he had miss-heard.
"We can't kill him!" Raphael suddenly shouted, making his siblings cringe at the volume.
Daiki's dark eyes radiated a fierce, uncompassionate intelligence, "Why not? It'll finally put an end to him."
Before the blue-clad turtle could speak, Miwa passed by him and grabbed the human boy's shoulders, shaking him slightly, "Because killing him is wrong, Daiki. No matter how much he's hurt you, no matter how much he deserves it! Killing him is wrong!"
"Wrong?" Daiki asked cautiously, she stepped back slightly as his eyes narrowed to slits. "I'll tell you what's wrong! Having your parents murdered by some psychotic freak! Is what's wrong!!" Daiki yelled as he reached into his pocket and threw a small ball at the ground.
Thick purple smoke burst into the air, leaving the Hamatos to choke and hack on the smokey powder residue, while temporarily blinding them at the same time.
With this distraction, Daiki yanked the missile launcher from Leo's slacking grip, and started running, making his way across several containers in a matter of seconds, landing just near the dock's opening to the sea, where the deal was still happening.
By now the Hamatos were coming straight for him, all shouting at him to stop. But Daiki just ignored their shouts, peering through the lense of the missile, he looked around until he found his target, still talking to the Russian.
As he re-adjusted his hand and took aim once more, he felt his breath stop at the sight before him in the lense.
At that moment, Tigerclaw had aimed another missile launcher at Daiki and the now arrived Hamatos, firing when the turtles came into view.
"Incoming!" Leo shouted.
"Ā, kuso! Oh shit!" Daiki yelled as he dropped the missile in an attempt to try and run.
The Hamatos just barely managed to jump off the storage container before the shockwave from the missile hit them, sending them all to the ground in a painful descent as bits of the container flew around them.
Leo shook his head a little to clear the stars that were dancing around him, as he and his team struggled to get up.
Miwa and Raphael looked almost unscaved. Whereas Michelangelo had a large cut across his arm, deep enough that it caused a little blood flow, making the youngest yelp in pain when he touched it.
As the Leader in blue moved towards his hurt sibling and the others, he caught sight of the Shredder glaring at them.
"What?!" The Shredder bellowed from across the docks, still only part way through the deal when the missile was launched, was now making his way over.
Steranko on the other hand, saw that things were beginning to heat up, and took that as his opportunity to take the briefcase of money and run, taking off in his car before anyone could stop him.
Leo looked around the dock area, and saw a massive tiger mutant approaching them from behind, he could only presume that this was the infamous Tigerclaw, Daiki had warned them about. While closing in on them at the sides, Dogpound and Fishface took up their own fighting stances.
The Shredder stepped in front of the Hamatos, looking at the teens impassively. "Tigerclaw, what is the meaning of this?" The Shredder asked the feline holding the launcher as he eyed the four recently downed teenagers infront of him, his half-blind gaze luming over Miwa slightly longer then the others, making her uncomfortable.
Tigerclaw flipped the missile onto his shoulder, and scowled at the ninjas. "Morikawa has betrayed you, Master. He was working with the Hamatos to bring you down." Xever flinched and Bradford physically froze from shock, while the Shredder stood impassive to the tigers words.
The striped mutant then held up the missile launcher in his hand, resting it on his shoulder and aiming it towards the Hamatos. "But I won't let such dishonor stain your clan."
"Uh oh." Leo muttered as Tigerclaw let off another missile.

Daiki's eyelids fluttered rapidly as he struggled to focus his vision. But the sounds of more explosions, a rapid beeping coming from his pocket, and the unsteady shaking of the dock beneath him, weren't helping to soothe his banging head. He groaned and lifted his aching arms up to try and pull himself out from under the exploded remains of the container he found himself in.
Once out, he tried to get up slowly, holding his side in pain as he looked past the blown up pieces to see where exactly he was. Noticing quickly that he had been knocked a few meters away from his original place near the Hamatos.
When he finally managed to pull himself completely free of the wreckage, he saw the fight that was ensuing in front of him. As well as the sounds of the Kraang stealth ship hovering above the docks, shooting at the fighters every now and then when it came in closer.
But instead of the Hamatos, the Foot or even the Kraang ship, Daiki had all his focus drawn to Tigerclaw. More specifically, the missile launcher in his hand.
The Tiger, happened to catch the boy's eye sight, and smiled cunningly, taking off to the dock's warehouse with rapid speed.
Daiki bared his teeth together in anger, raising clumsily and running straight for the mutant. "Come back here! Gesu yarō! 'Asshole!'"
"Daiki! Don't!" Leo tried to rush over and grab him, but he was cut off from the boy by the Shredder suddenly lashing out at him, being saved mere seconds by Miwa shoving him sideways.
As Daiki ran up to the warehouse, he caught sight of the striped orange fur disappearing onto the roof and followed swiftly after. Climbing the drain pipes, only to be immediately grabbed by the hood, and tossed like a ragdoll across the roof by a powerful paw.
When he rolled to a painful stop, he saw the tiger pulling his sword out of its sheath as he began to charge at the him. But Daiki managed to keep his head by jumping to his feet and pulling out his bō staff, holding it horizontally above his throat, effectively blocking the evading blade from his neck.
"You are a fool, Cub!" Tiger Claw spat as he and Daiki had their weapons locked against each other, though the tiger was slowly pushing the boy back with his extra weight. "You chose the reptilian freaks over your own Clan! And for that, you will die here today."
Daiki scowled at the insult. "The only freak here is you!" He yelled with a final grunt of effort, twisting the staff so that the sword's blade slide on the bō's metal surface, sending the forceful blow into the air. Then slamming his foot straight into the tiger's stomach. Managing to disarm the mutant from his sword, and land a hard kick to his snout.
Daiki sheathed his bō and scooped up the missile launcher which laid close by, while the feline was recovering. Running quickly to the end of the roof, and taking aim at the Shredder once more.
However, as he focused through the lense of the gun, he finally caught sight of the fight below him that he was so quick to dismiss. Leonardo and Miwa were trying their hardest to keep up with the Shredder on top of one of the storage containers, while Raphael fought Xever and Bradford, with Mikey trying to help with mutant dog, while injured.
Staring at the scene for a brief moment, the reality of the situation struck him. All of this, was because he was so insistent on getting his revenge.
His vendetta...
His eyes stung momentarily, before he pulled the launcher back up to his eye, locking onto the stealth ship that was rounding the dock to aim for the Hamatos again, and fired. Sending the last missile straight at the ship, before having to dodge sideways as Tigerclaw leapt for him again.
The missile hit the ship directly, knocking it out of the sky. The burning wreck quickly hurdled itself towards the dock below, trailing smoke behind it as it descended. It became clear that it would crash where Leo and Miwa were fighting the Shredder. So the two teens jumped to the side when they saw the incoming ship and were able to dodge it in time.
The Shredder, on the other hand, didn't budge, and was knocked over the edge of the storage container by the wreckage, plummeting into the dark river along with it.
The two mutant henchmen fighting Raphael and Michelangelo, stopped at the shock of their downed Master. Only to then be distracted by the sounds of clashing from above. Catching the ears of the Hamato ninjas too, they all peered up to the dock warehouse, to see Daiki and Tigerclaw currently locked in battle.
"You will die for your dishonor, Cub!" Tigerclaw roared as he lunged for Daiki, with claws bared, striking out with lightning fast slashes.
But Daiki was quick to dive to the side, kicking out to deliver a sickening blow to the tigers jaw once more as he got back to his feet. Grabbing his bō staff ready for the next round.
"I know you were listening the other night, Cub." Tigerclaw remarked as he rubbed his aching jaw, "I was waiting to see how long it would take before for your loyalties shifted. But I'm surprised at how fast you turnt!" He growled, as he pounced at the boy again.
Daiki held him off with his bō, catching the tigers mouth on it. But Tigerclaw slowly began closing his jaws around the metal staff, crushing it, until it snapped under the pressure and into two halves still in Daiki's hands.
Daiki could only stare in disbelief at his beloved weapon in his hands, now completely in pieces, scratched and mangled by teeth marks.
The tiger took this opportunity to lung for the distracted boy, grabbing him by his neck, claws digging into his flesh slightly, and holding him up into the air. Daiki's eyes opened wide and he gasped as his airway was suddenly cut off, kicking his feet out to try and catch the mutant, but his efforts were in vain.
His bō staff clattered onto the roof and fell to the docks below.
"Tigerclaw!" Bradford's angered voice pierced the air, catching the Hamatos off guard, and even Xever. "What are you doing!?"
The tiger stood still, not taking his glare off the boy. "Teaching this traitor a lesson."
The tiger flickered his eyes down to Daiki's chest, before returning them back to the scared mahogany eyes before him. Showing no emotion in his own yellow eyes as he pulled the boy in closer. "Why don't we send you to your parents, Cub."
Daiki stiffened in the tiger's grasp, as the tiger's enormous paw rose up above him, extending it's claws, and slicing down onto the boy in his grasp.
"Daiki!" Leo, Raph and Miwa shouted.
"Donnie..." Mikey pleaded as he watched the scene helplessly. His small voice couldn't be heard in the background of the loud cries of anguish. Even Bradford's own enraged yell was louder then him.
Daiki felt numb for a moment, then he felt everything at once. His chest got warmer as blood seeped out of him. Three large gashes tore their way across his chest, from his right shoulder to the bottom of his left ribcage. And the hard, sharp metal of his ripped armour pierced into his skin more, tearing his flesh, and freeing more blood.
The tiger let go of him, and he felt the hard roof connect against his back as pain screamed through him.
His whole body shock slightly, as his head throbbed and chest burned. He moved one of his hands slowly over the claw marks on his chest. Trying in vain to apply pressure to help stop the blood, but he knew it was pointless.
He stayed like that for a few seconds while trying to slow his rapidly increasing breathing into long deep breaths. But he couldn't focus on anything but the blurry mocking figure of the tiger stood over him, licking his blood of his black claws with a delighted smile.
He could do nothing but choke and gasp, as each breath became a strangling fight as blood slowly began to make it's way up his throat.
The medic in him was screaming, telling him that this was it. But he didn't have time to lay down and aaccept his own death.
He still had a little bit of strength in him.
And he wasn't going to go down, without leaving a mark of his own.
"Foolish cub." The tiger gloated to the dying boy, taking pride in watching his blood trickle down the rooftop towards the stunned Hamatos and the shocked Xever holding back an enraged Bradford. Oblivious, to the jagged bō staff end heading straight for his head.
His agonizing screams followed next. Piercing the air as his paws flew up to his face. Blood flowed quickly through his palms and between his fingers as he yanked out the remains of the bō staff from his face, and clung in vain to his now empty eye socket, cursing in Japanese.
In a fit of blind rage he started slashing at the air, growling menacingly as he looked for the boy who took his eye. "Where are you! I'll rip you apart!" But Daiki was no longer on the roof. A short trail of blood on the opposite side of the roof told the tiger all that he needed to know. His prey had gotten away.
"NOO!!" His deafening bellow was heard across the docks, as he made his way to the storage containers opposite the warehouse, following the short trail of blood, and clumsily pulling himself up. Disappearing over them, and into the recently awoken city.
As the two henchman on the dock registered what had just happened, Fishface was quick to head to the edge of the docks, diving into the river to look for his Master. While Dogpound stood stationary, staring at the fresh trail of blood still falling from the roof.
"Leo! Where's Donnie?!" Mikey cried out, with eyes lined with tears, frantically pulling at his blue-claded brother's arm.
"I-I don't know." Leo stuttered out, his eyes looked around in panic as the boy seemingly disappeared. Water splashed around behind the Hamatos, alerting the older siblings of the coming danger.
Miwa placed a urgent hand on her immediate younger brothers shoulder, "Leo, We have to go."
"No! We can't leave him alone! He's hurt! And needs our help!" Mikey all but screamed at his sister.
"Mikey! We have to go now!" Raphael yelled.
Leo took hold of both of Mikey's shoulders, squeezing them slightly, "We'll look for him, Mikey. I promise, we'll look for Daiki. But not right now. We have to go."
"But...D..." Mikey stared back in the direction of the bloody warehouse roof with watery blue eyes, before turning to his siblings, already making their move, and following sadly after.
The Hamatos made their way up the storage units, climbing and soon disappearing into the shadows as they made their way back home.
But had they of waited for a few moments, they would of seen Xever stood on the side of the docks helping his Master out of the cold water.
"Where are they." The Shredder said in a harsh voice, weather it was from near drowning, or from trying to hold back his anger was unclear. He held out his arm, silently telling one of them to take what he had, as he got up onto the dock.
Bradford moved forward on instinct, taking what looked like an alien brain squid by its tentacles from his Masters, ignoring the creatures squeals of discomfort. "I believe Tigerclaw went after Morikawa, Master." Bradford stated unsurely.
Shredder spoke in short sentences, breathing heavily through his mask. "Find Tigerclaw...Morikawa will be dead before night comes...It's a wasted effort..."
Bradford felt his fists clench momentarily, the alien in his hand screeched as its legs were crushed by the rock-like paw. But Bradford was quick to release his firm grip, knowing his Master was right.
"And if he does come back..." The Shredder fixed his dead, bloodshot eyes on to his remaining henchmen. "I'll kill him myself..."
Any feedback or reviews would be great!
Thanks again! :')
