Chapter 17: Booyah-ka-Showdown! Part 2
Here's Chapter 17!
The end of S1 has come!! and I can't thank everyone enough for liking this fic! it means so mich to me!! 3
Stay tuned for S2: A whole load of family fluff and angst awaits for us my friends. And I can't wait to show you all!! :)
ProfessorYeti: Gah! As always, thank again for your review haha! I love that the little moments here and there of family fluff make you so giddy that you attack the air xD And honestly, I've found myself doing mini Jojo's references to my own fic aswell xD like how a few weeks again I was in the shops and saw some odon noodles? I picked those bad boys up, as well as some fish cakes and other ingredients and made myself a odon. I'm not a good cook, so it tasted absolutely shit...xDDDDD
(Also I'm not sure if u knew, but the scene with Donnie and Mikey grabbed Metalhead for the fight, is actually in the show xDD But it was a really cute way for the creators to show Mikey and Donnie's relationship better! :'3 We need more of the baby boys!!)
And I'm glad you noticed Daiki's little hints to his anxiety or the whole deal in your rereads, as if I'm honest? I was scared no one would notice lmao!
And I like that you'd 'eat up' any route the fic will take! xD it just proves how much you like it, and it makes me so happy!! So thank you again!!
For your random topics, lol. I'm extremely excited to show you season 3!! it's coming along really well, and I'm sure it's going to leave some laughs and tears here and there! (As of right now, I'm really liking how the Race with a Demon episode is turning out!! Lots of Donnie angst!! :) Whahahaha!)
Also the title lol, Thank you so much haha! I feel like I'd heard it before? and I thought, whilst rewatching the episode that Mikey would say it or something?? but he didn't so I was like, oh well! I'll use it then! because it sounds cool haha!
Also, for your question: In this fic, Daiki is taller then Mikey, but shorter then the others? the heights, from tallest to shortest go: Splinter( Obviously lol), Leo, Miwa, Raph, April, Daiki and Mikey.
But that isn't to say our boy will stay short? Who knows...maybe a growth spurt is in his near future? :000
And once again! thank you for the review!! I love reading your reply, as their so long!! I always feel like I miss stuff when I reply back haha! 3
SpaceSafeYo: Thank you for your review!! I'm glad your enjoying the fic so far! And I've also noticed that people called Miwa, Karai in some AU fics, which is very weird xD So I thought I'd do it correct lol. And as for the Ninjutsu/Ninjitsu thing? You can thank my beautiful dyslexia for that! xD the 'i' sometimes mix together? it's hard to explain haha! But thank you for pointing it out! I'll try my best to proof check that before unloading next! Also, Maze of Doom is one of my favs too! xD Thank you again!! 3
This is based on the 2k12 series.
WARNING: 'Dyslexic Writer lol'.
Chapter 17
"I think I speak for all of us when I say, AH! AHH! AHHHHH!" Michelangelo started to scream at the top of his lungs, as the Technodrome's every growing shadow loomed ominously over the city.
"What the heck is that thing?!" Raphael yells out to the three others flying above him, being extra careful not to knock Leonardo off of his shell in the process.
"It's the end of the world!!" Leo exclaims in fear.
At that, Daiki flew down slightly so he was between Miwa and Raph, but addressed the leader. "Actually, it's just the end of humanity's reign as the planet's dominant life form. You know, like when the dinosaurs-"
"Now? Really? Y-you're gonna do this now?" Leo interrupts with a hint of frustration.
"Well excuse me!" Daiki snaps back, "but it's how I deal with stress!"
"Well maybe it doesn't have weapons?" Raphael questions nervously, "Does it look like it has weapons?"
As if on cue, the Technodrome set off one of it's cannons straight towards them all, before all the cannons turned on the five teens.
"You just had to say something didn't you?!" Miwa yells in annoyance.
"Yeah, I think it has weapons!" The leader confirms back, just as the ship began to rain down on the five of them with no stop lasers. Causing the teens to fly around in a panic as the ship only continued to get closer...

As citizens of New York began to flee in fear of the Kraang's war ship outside, the abandoned church which stood as the Foot Clans headquarters, was currently occupied by two of the world's greatest Ninjutsu Masters. Both stood a few feet from each other with deepening tension on their faces.
"Oroku Saki," The mutated rat spoke up. "You were once my friend. I thought of you as my brother. 15 years ago, I was a different man. I had everything I could of wanted. My loving wife, and together, we had our beautiful daughter..."
Memories of the long forgotten past of Hamato Yoshi filled Splinter's head. From the soft sounds of Shen's laugh and his baby daughter's giggles, to the sounds of the Shredder's blades slicing through the air. Tearing apart his peaceful past, and leading him to the greatest pains he has ever suffered.
"And you, my loyal friend?" He spat sarcastically, "Jealousy consumed you. You sought that which was mine. You took away the one that I loved! And still you hunt me down!" Splinter turned his amber eyes onto the armoured man with the most feral glare he could muster. Allowing his memories of his haunted past to fuel his temper just that little bit.
"So I fight you now. To end this!" He announced, and without as much as a final thought, the rat charged his former friend with a yell. He spins, and kicks the Shredder in the face, only for the man to retaliate back, trying to punch him, but Splinter slides behind him.
The Shredder throws himself at the rat, trying to knock him off his feet, but Splinter flips into the air, landing safely back near the entrance of the room. The two stand at a stalemate for a second, before charging each other, with blade and cane slashing together as they deflect the blows.
The armoured man punched Splinter in their close range, only for the mutant to sneak round behind, flipping up into the air to bring the cane down on the man.
However the Shredder noticed this and jumps away, rolling back down on the glass walls at the side of the room.
He dodges three shurikens which barely missed his helmet as Splinter jumps up too, landing directly across from him.
Splinter grips his cane as he makes to adjust his stance, unaware that Shredder was watching his feet, as they pressed down on a particular glass panel that gave out from under the rat. Throwing him into the glass terrarium like wall display as he shook his head in an attempt to clear the dizziness. Only, when Splinter got to his feet and scoured the enclosed space out, he found that Shredder was no longer watching him from the roof of the tank. Seemingly vanished into thin air...
Splinter's ears pricked up, in an attempt to sense his enemy nearby. Hearing a quiet squeak from behind he throws some shurikens in a quick line, only to hit a stone instead. He sighs, and remains quiet in the already eerie tank, listening for his foe.
A whooshing of air from above alerted him right on time as the Shredder came down on top of him, luckily, he knocks him away in time, and even goes in for another slash with his cane. His ears perked up as the silence continued, and the shadow of the Shredder, turned out to be no more then another stone.
He flicks his ears, as he steadied himself once more to listen. Upon hearing the sounds of some sort of valve going, he spun round to see fire start to appear from behind, marching it's way towards him like the fiery death it was, as he jumped out of it's reach and back onto the waterway in the centre of the room. He pants as turns just in time to avoid the Shredder's blades coming down on him.
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
The five ninjas screamed as the Technodrome let off a rain of lasers down on them. Continuously having to dodge, not only the Kraang's fire power, but each other as well as their wide open sky became more enclosed.
Eventually the small gaps between the lasers became impossible to dodge, leading Michelangelo's wing pack to get hit, sending him spiraling in the air and right into Daiki. Both the youngest teens went down, straight towards the rooftops below screaming.
"Daiki! Mikey!!" Leo calls out as Raph flies up to avoid getting hit himself, but Raphael soon loses control of his pack from the numerous loops he had done to get out of the Kraang's range. And the two start to plummet from the sky. Heading down towards the streets below where they smack into the side of a building.
The two slide down into the alleyway below, with Leo landing comfortably on a homeless man's mattress, and Raph unceremoniously, being dropped right into a dumpster.
Miwa on the other hand, had a much cleaner and safer landing on the actual rooftop, and stripped her pack off to run to her brothers aid, where Daiki and Mikey also appeared from the side ally.
"Are you guys alright?" Daiki asks as he and Mikey approach.
"Been better." Raphael muttered in reply as he pulled himself out of the trash-filled dumpster.
The shadow of the gigantic war machine passes by, looming above them all as they gasp in horror.
"What do we do now?" The brunet questions in fear.
"We need to talk to Splinter." Leonardo tells them all, "Come on." He gestured to the manhole cover beside them, and the four teens follow his lead down.
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
Back at the lair, the five ninjas walk in expecting Splinter or April to be waiting. Only to receive silence as their welcome.
"Hello?" Leo calls to the silence, "Sensei?"
"Father?" Miwa questions as she comes beside him. But no voice called back.
"April?" Daiki tried, as he approached the infirmary only to find it deserted aswell.
"Spike?!" Raphael yelled frantically. Luckily, the smaller turtle lifted his head up out of a discarded popcorn bag at the call of his name. And the hothead turtle blew out a sigh of relief as he went to pick up Spike, putting the turtle on his shoulder. "Don't scare me like that, buddy." Raph smiles as he reaches a finger to his friend, to which Spike copies.
The freckled turtle coos at the scene and then walks past the two, making his way into the dojo. But to his surprise, the room was empty. And his friend and father were nowhere in sight.
"Anyone in here?" Mikey asked as he began to look around. He found no verbal response back, but to his surprise, he noticed a shuffling noise behind him, followed by fast approaching footsteps.
He glances back and gasps as he had to suddenly duck to avoid being hit in the head by a wooden bō staff. "Whoa dude! Chill!" Mikey shouts as the wielder of the weapon continued to swing for him. It was at this point that Mikey realized that his attacker, was actually Mr O'Neil.
"Hey!"
Mikey whipped around to see Leo come running in to help him, followed by Miwa, Raph and Daiki. His siblings speed ahead and all three of them leapt forward and pinned Mr. O'Neil to the ground. Where Daiki ran forward and snatched the staff from his hands.
"What the heck is going on?" Raph exclaimed, glaring down at the now pinned man.
Daiki bent down to get a closer look at the man, and gasped. "Guys, check this out!" He pulls back Mr. O'Neil's collar to reveal a small, circular metal object dug into the back of his neck. With a steady pink blinking light in the middle.
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
Daiki holds the small device up to the light, examining it closer with a calculating eye.
"So what is it?" Leo asked with a frown, as the others gather to look at it.
"I think...it's a mind control device?" Daiki explains carefully.
"Really?" Raphael jokes. He then pulls Mikey closer to him with one arm, so that his younger brother's shell is facing him, and snatches the device from Daiki. Before attempting to put it on Mikey's neck.
"No, stop it! Stop it!" Mikey screams as he flails his arms to get away.
A well earnt hit to the back of Raph's head from his sister, had him dropping his hold on Mikey and the device. "Stop messing around!" She warns while raising her hand for another round, as Mikey runs to Daiki's side for protection.
As Miwa's threat lingered in the air, the ninjas heard a low groaning coming from beside them, looking down, they saw that Mr O'Neil was starting to come too, shakily pushing himself up to a sitting position.
The five raced over to the man, with Daiki placing a hand on his shoulder to steady him, "Mr. O'Neil, are you okay?" The brunet asks slowly.
"I've done something terrible..." Mr. O'Neil starts off grimly, he avoids all eye contact with the teens before him, and favours the floor instead.
"Well, it wasn't your fault, Mr. O'Neil." Daiki responds back gently. "Just tell us what's happened."
Mr. O'Neil sighs slowly and raises his head. "It appears the Kraang have formed an alliance with your enemy, Shredder..." the five teens gasped at this new information, only to be cut off by the middle-aged man, "That's not all," he tenses, "I fear that the Shredder has handed April over to the Kraang..."
"Saki kidnapped April?!" Daiki shouts in fear.
"Sensei must've gone after her!" Raphael pointed out and the teens grimaced at the thought.
"So where is April now?" Daiki ushers Mr. O'Neil with urgency.
"They're taking her to the Technodrome." The man replied back sadly.
"The what?" Raph snaps in confusion.
The TV, which Michelangelo had turned on at some point during the conversation, gave them their answer.
"Carlos Chang O'Brien Gambe here. Pandemonium in the streets as a 'techno-terror-drome' hovers over downtown!"
Mikey turns to them in fear. "Dudes! This is getting freakier by the minute!"
"We just escaped that freaky sphere, and now we gotta break into it?!" Raph barks in disbelief.
"In a matter of hours, the world we once knew will be gone." Mr O'Neil starts to ramble to himself, becoming increasingly more freaked out. "And the Kraang want April to help in their conquest of Earth!"
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
April's senses take a moment to fully adjust to the new and cold environment she found herself waking up in.
She forced herself to open her weary eyes, and finds herself face to face with an enormous pink brain, staring her down with a malicious look in it's alien eyes. She gasped and began to struggle, but her arms and legs had been strapped down by solid metal restraints, preventing her from moving away from the foul creature.
"April O'Neil," The enlarged brain-blob states slowly. "Kraang has waited a long time."
"Where am I?" She demands, trying her best to keep up a brave front. "What's going on?"
"Like all Kraang, I am called Kraang. But you can call me Kraang." The creature speaks, "Kraang has need of this planet for Kraang to live on."
"Um, that's great, but we're kind of using it." April bit back snarkily, "So you came all this way for nothing. Bummer."
"No. Kraang came all this way for you, April O'Neil!" The large Kraang announced darkly.
"Oh really? As if I have anything to offer to you Kraangs!" April threatened, but she was unaware of the wires slowly approaching her from behind...
"Your mental energy is uniquely attuned to this universe. Once Kraang gains this ability, Kraang will transform your world into a world for Kraang." The Kraang explains this as it's mouth tentacles wiggle with glee.
"And...how are you going to do that, exactly?" April asked the giant brain tentatively, the wires that were once behind her then move to her face. They start coming towards her and she let's out a blood-curdling scream.

Splinter clashes his jade staff against the Shredder's gauntlet blades, the fire around them, paints their fierce battle in a deadly red hue.
The Shredder tries to punch and kick at the mutant, but the rat dodges them easily. Splinter strikes his staff against Shredder's blades again, only for the blades to snap the jade cane to reveal a hidden katana blade within. But the Shredder jumps into the air, narrowly missing Splinter's blade from impaling him in the head.
"Why must you persist in this insanity!" Splinter demands with narrowing amber eyes.
"You took Tang Shen from me!" The Shredder bellows, right as his gauntlet produces his blade.
"She was never yours!" Splinter yells back, extending the end of his blade into a rope-like whip, capturing the Shredder's right arm with it.
The man growled and goes in to punch Splinter, who jumps over him, capturing his torso in the rest of the rope. As Splinter pulls his katana out once more, he jumps forward with the blade in hand, intent on ending it here and now. But the Shredder slices upwards with his own blade, knocking the katana out of Splinter's hands.

Back on the streets outside, the entire city was in a state of pure panic. Pods from the Technodrome were flying out of the ship and down towards the city, snatching up people and animals alike for the Kraang to keep for their own unannounced purposes. Though it was sure to be horrific...
In one of the littered streets, a couple of pods had landed, letting out Kraang-droids onto the road. There were a few cars turnt over and on fire, which the Hamatos and Daiki took as a opportunity for cover.
"We gotta get in one of those pods." Leo whispers to his team.
At that, Daiki popped his head up to survey the area. "But how? There are eight Kraang-droids between us and there?" Daiki whispers back.
"We could create a diversion?" Leo suggests.
"Excuse me, how many did you say there were?" Raph speaks up from behind.
"Eight." Leo confirms and goes back to discussing with Daiki. Raph and Miwa shake their heads and move to the back of the group were they play a quick game of rock, paper scissors. With Raphael coming up victorious and doing a silent fist bump in the air as Miwa groaned to herself. The red-clad turtle then snuck off in one direction while Miwa went back to the others.
"We could all dress up like robots! And sneak in." Mikey adds his suggestion, only to receive blank looks from the oldest turtle and Daiki.
At that, the brunet pulls out his phone and begins to type. "Or, I could try to override their security codes by-"
A yell from the direction of the eight Kraang-droids, interrupts him and the two other teens huddled behind the car. They turn to see that Raphael had quite easily taken down all the bots by himself. With a lone Kraang head sat on his sai as he spun it around cockily.
"Or...that might work?" Leo remarks slowly, as Daiki and Mikey stand beside him blinking.
A good slap to the head had the two youngest teens moving again as Miwa leapt over the car to join Raphael. "Let's move it."
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
Sparks fly in the air as Splinter and Saki's blades continue to push down on each other, each man giving enough force to snap their forged metal in two.
"You never had anything but your hatred!" Splinter snaps as he continues to bare down. "And if you defeat me, you will havenothing!!"
The Shredder began to growl, before bursting free from his ropes. He brought his blades forth once more, only for the rat to leap backwards, landing far enough away from him that he couldn't reach. But the Shredder made no move to follow him. Instead, he got up from his hunched position and reared his head back. A roar of demented laughter filled the room as Splinter stood by confused.
"Fool!" The armoured man bellowed out in a manic tone. "I have hunted down and slaughtered your entire Clan! Do you really think I will have nothing!?"
Splinter felt himself go ridged for a moment as Shredder's words hit him like a hundred knives. "What..."
"Once I have slain you, Rat! I will take Tang Shen's daughter, and raise her as my own, as was meant!" He continued to jeer. "Then I will kill that pathetic boy, and finally be done with you Hamatos!"
"Boy?" Splinter questioned momentarily, then it clicked... "Daiki?"
This was a surprise to the Shredder, who raised a brow in thought. "So, he has not told you?" But the man was quick to dismiss this news as something too shocking. "Typical. He runs off crying to you after finding out the truth, yet doesn't have the guts to actually admit it to anyone." He then sneered under his mask. "Like a true Hamato. He is a liar at heart."
Splinter shock his head, wheather it was from confusion or denial, he wasn't sure. "No... that can not be true." He stated bluntly. "His parents were Hana and Genki, neither were Hamatos-"
"That is where you are wrong, Yoshi." The Shredder interrupted with sick enjoyment of Yoshi's confusion. "Does the name Emiko sound familiar to you?"
"Emiko?" Splinter questioned as if the man was playing a prank. "She disappeared almost eighteen years ago, even her own father admitted that he believed her dead-"
"She lived." Shredder growled in displeasure. "The foolish woman claimed to have had an encounter with a reptilian Yokai when she was still in the Clan. One that warned her of a foreboding tragedy to come in the Clan, and her own future. And that leaving was her best chance at surviving..."
"So that weapons maker, Genki, tried to hide her in the village." He announced bitterly, and narrowed his eyes in disgust. "But I could see through her disguise... You all have those amber eyes, full of betrayal and lies!" He ejected his gauntlets blades once more.
"I could at least stand to stare that boy in the eyes." He spat out, "But just like the rest of you Hamatos, he too, will perish."
"He...is a Hamato..." Splinter muttered as the words made more sense in his mind.
"Soon, you and that boy will all follow that deceitful Yuuta, to the grave!!"
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
The five teens crouched down low inside of the pod as it ascended above the city and towards the Technodrome, making the city bellow and it's citizens no more then tiny specks running around in fear.
The pod continued up towards a circular doorway, which opened up for the pod and took them down a long silver tunnel with pink lights in the walls. The tunnel had many holes in the side of it, leading to circular like chambers where the pods were being stored once they had been sorted.
After checking that there were no Kraang around, the leader looked to his team. "Okay guys, this is it." He said in a hushed voice. "On three. One, Two, Three-!"
On Leo's call, Raphael grabbed the blacked out glass dome covering them and swung it open. And the five teens all made to jump, but the moment that they all left the floor, they continued to go up in the air.
"What the heck's going on!?" Raph yelled as he spun backwards.
"I think the Kraang forgot to pay their gravity bill!-" Mikey replies, only for a giant suction cup-like object to shot out from one of the side tunnels and grab him by the shell, pulling him into the hole.
The others gasp in shock, hearing the sounds of metal shifting around beside and above them. They turned their heads around to see another suction cup from a few feet away shoot Mikey back out into the tunnel. Groaning as he rolled slightly in the air unresponsive.
"It appears the Kraang have generated anti-gravitons!" Daiki explains to the others as the leader turns to look at him.
"Is there any way for you to generate anti-anti-gravitons?" Leo asks unsurely.
"You mean gravitons?" Daiki corrects.
Leo nods, "Yes."
"No!" Daiki adds simply.
"Perfect!" Miwa says deadpan as she knocks Mikey away when he floated to close to her.
"Guys, I'm gonna throw up!" Mikey moans, holding his plastron in pain." Or down...Or maybe sideways... But one thing's for sure. I'm majorly gonna throw!" The freckled turtle groaned once more, and was oblivious to the pod moving up behind him, until it pinned him to the front of it and pushed him along the corridor.
"We still have a job to do, so let's go!" Leo recalls and grabs hold of the pod, followed by Miwa, Raph and Daiki.
Holding tight to the pod, the five teens move down the corridor at a decent pace. That was, until they saw two Kraang's in flying ships spot them and fly back down to double check the pod. A suction cup from the side pulls the pod into a hole and confuses the alien brains enough that they move passed them, as the teens clung to the walls of the chamber's shadows.
"Yo, Zero G is banging!" Mikey whispers in glee as he floats above the others upside down. "The Kraang should turn this into a carnival ride!"
"Uh, I think they're more interested in using it to destroy the Earth?" Leo points out snarkily.
"It could do both?" Mikey adds with a grin and receives head shakes from the others.
"Get down from there!" Miwa snaps quietly and pulls him down by his bandana tails.
A muffled scream sounds around the tunnel, causing the five teens to go silent as they recognize the familiar voice.
"It's April!" Daiki yells in concern.
"Can you say that a little louder? I don't think the entire Technodrome heard you!" Raph stated sarcastically. Only to turn around and see hundreds of the Kraang brains glaring at him from the entrance. "Nevermind, they did." The red-clad turtle moped.
The five ninjas pulled out their weapons and advanced on the horde of Kraang, at the same time, the war ship began to make a whirring up noise, indicating that it was beginning to power up.
"That can't be good." Leo remarked as he jumped up and knocked two brain-blobs away, turning to land against Daiki's feet.
The two teens propelled each other off in separate directions, with Daiki floating over towards Mikey who was being held down by two brains, hitting both of them away from the turtle with a few good hits from his bō.
Miwa used the pods still passing by to launch herself from wall to wall, using her tantō blade to slice the brain's ships as they tried to grab her when she passed.
All the while, Raphael was just having a hard time trying to stay afloat. Continuously spinning around in circles as he ran on the spot, but luckily for him, Leonardo was able to push him out of the way as two brains came at the turtle firing off lasers.
With both the eldest turtles safely at one of the wall, Leo pushes himself off once more, slicing between the brains and catching one of their flying ships to send it spiraling downwards.
While Raphael takes advantage of the disoriented Kraang brains and yanks the remaining one out of the air, using it to fly himself around the tunnel.
Michelangelo manages to grab a brain with his kusarigama chain, spinning it around in the air, and launching it off far down the tunnel, as more brains seemed approached.
The five teens, now confident at being in the low gravity atmosphere, began to jump around the walls cheering, as they all knocked the remaining brains out. Landing on the roof with satisfied smirks as the tunnel was clear of any lingering Kraang.
As Leonardo landed last, the sounds of April's screams seemed to be closer to them then before, so Raphael leant towards the floor and began to stab his sai into a panel, piecing it just enough for it to give and opening up. He jumped in through it, followed by Miwa and Leo, while Daiki used his bō staff to pull Mikey inside before following himself.
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
"April O'Neil, your mind belongs to Kraang!" The enlarged Kraang smirks with glee as April's blue eyes go wide from the helmet strapped to her head, pulsing her mental energy into the Technodrome's engine.
"Soon your world will be ours. Let the planetary mutation...begin!" The sounds of the ships eye laser being powered up filled the room as the pumps and wires on April's helmet flash faster. "Witness the end of your kind!!"
"Not if we can help it!" Leonardo declares and the giant Kraang brain looks up to see the five teenagers hanging from the wires above.
"The Hamatos and Donnie? Kraang will not be stopped by pathetic mutants and humans!" The enlarged creature screeched.
"At least we're not stupid aliens!" Mikey retorts back, as Leo turns to Raph.
"Raph, quick!" Leo points down to the Kraang below.
The red-clad turtle flips off the wires, and down below, kicking the large Kraang brain square in the face, right between his eyes. Making it yell with discomfort and annoyance.
This gave Daiki just enough time to free April, getting down beside her restraints and unlocking them until they loosened up and release her.
Daiki took extra care to remove the helmet off of her head, and at the sudden lack of metal supports keeping her in place, April fell forward slightly, where the teen was waiting with open arms to catch her.
All around them, the ship begins to power down, slowly losing it's bright pink lights as the engines die down.
A dreary April grips onto Daiki's arm for extra support in her weak state, and glances up to meet his mahogany eyes watching her caringly.
"You're my hero..." she muttered to him weakly. To which, the brunet went a few shades redder, chuckling away giddily to himself.
"Hey, Chuckles. We gotta get out of here." Raph comments and helps Daiki to put April on his back, using his bō staff to support her lower half.
"Let's go!" Leo orders and the five teens climb their way up the wires, leaving the large brain behind, seemingly unconscious at his lack of movement...
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
The Shredder lunged at Splinter over and over, making contact with the rats body everytime. But Splinter's thoughts became a whirlwind in his mind. A force he couldn't not think about.
To finally learn what truly happened to his father those seventeen years ago. How the rest of his Clan also fell by the same bloodied hands, as well as Daiki's own parents. It was sickening.
All those innocent lives were gone...
All because of the deranged psychopath now stood in front of him, claiming him to be a thief, of his own wife. Because he could not live with being rejected by the women he loved. It was despicable.
The Shredder suddenly struck out at Splinter, punching him square in the chest with such force that it knocked the rat back. He was quick to recover his defensive state, even being able to block the next few hits the man threw at him.
But he had lost the fight within himself, and with a solid blow to Splinter's chin, Shredder sent the rat flying backwards.
In mid-air, Splinter felt how his chin radiated with pain, he noticed the glimpses of his old friends armour as he came crashing down, and the abrupt pain which screamed inside his body as he slammed stomach first onto the floor. Where he could only just pick himself up onto his knees, groaning painfully as he pulled on his sore muscles.
"It's over, Hamato." Shredder growled like a victorious animal. "Soon you and your bloodline will be no more." He ejected his blade from his gauntlet and moved ever so closer to Splinter, who was still struggling to get back to his feet. "You were never worthy of being Tang Shen's husband. Let alone her child's father!"
The surge of rage running through Yoshi's veins as he listened to his foe belittle his family, boiled his blood. He snapped his head up, glaring his fiery amber eyes at the Shredder.
The armoured man snarled, and threw his arm forward into Splinter's skull. Only, that's where the blade would have gone, if Splinter had not of dodged so fast. Appearing beside the Shredder in lightening speed, as he charged towards the man once more.
Only for Shredder to thrust his blade at the rat again. But the man's one seeing eye widened at the sight before him, as the mutant rat stood crouched down, with his gauntlets blade in his mouth. Being held still by his teeth, until he bit down with great force, snapping the blade in two.
Splinter dropped down to his hands, and delivered a powerful kick to the Shredder's chest, knocking him straight of his feet. Once the Shredder regained his senses and corrected his stance, Splinter dropped down to all fours. And lunged for the man.
The Shredder raised his fists to block the incoming attack, but Splinter was quicker, delivering punches and hits one after the other, never letting the man have a moment to breathe.
The rage took hold of Splinter, and he wasn't going to let it go. Continuously, he struck the man, over and over, each hit getting harder and more frantic then the last, as he let his feral nature aid him in his fight. Until he spun round, and kicked Shredder hard in the torso, sending the man backwards once more.
The armoured man landed on his back, and threw kunai at the rat as he got himself up again. But Splinter was on all fours once more and ran towards him, dodging each blade as it stuck into the floor, until he reached his enemy.
He ran in circles, over and over, as the Shredder tried to follow his movements. But he moved quick, and was gone before Shredder turned round. This worked in distracting the man long enough that Splinter had a moment to lunged at him.
Moving faster now then ever, as he let himself fight alongside his rage. He hit him in every body part, any space between his armour, and the armour itself, until the man was so physically abused that he could no longer keep up with the fearl movements of the rat.
And with one final blow, Splinter leapt up, and kicked the man in the chest. Knocking any remaining air out of his battered lungs, as he went flying across the room. Slamming back down onto the stairway of his throne. Where he laid beaten and bruised.
Even his helmet had come flying off, and was now rolling down the stairs beside him.
The Shredder lay wheezing out dribbles of blood as he sat himself up, not willing to die on his belly like an animal, as the rat picked up his katana and made a mad dash towards him.
Splinter's blade was aimed directly for his scarred and maimed face, unrecognisable to the man he once knew him. And as he dashed up towards the stairs, he realized just how determined he was to end his old friends life.
Something he should of done seventeen years ago... Maybe then, his clan, his father, even Daiki's parents, would of been alive today...
"Master!"
The clash of two blades sounded as Tigerclaw launched himself from behind the rat, directing his blade at the Splinter's head. He blocked the rats strike long enough for each to view the other, before they both swung their blades backwards and jumped back themselves.
"Tigerclaw, I presume." Splinter asked bitterly as he held his blade steady.
"I am." The feline sneered, making sure to show of his jaw, filled his razor sharp teeth. Placing himself in front of his fallen Master protectively. "And you, Hamato Yoshi, are my Master's mosted feared enemy." The tiger said as he began to circle round the rat, only for Splinter to do the same, until the two were in a stalemate. Glowering at each other until they charged forward and swung.
With the adrenaline rushing through him, Splinter almost didn't realise that he had been cut on his arm. The red blood gushed outwards, but not at a rate that would deter him from the fight.
Tigerclaw smirked at the smell of the red liquid, the scent was almost identical to another Hamato he had the pleasure of tearing open... "You are also the protector of the Uragirimono!" The tiger pulled his blade back and swung it forward as his feet slammed on the floor. But Splinter dodged out of the way, holding onto his shoulder as more blood flowed.
From behind them both, the Shredder sat up and snickered at Splinter like a maniac, as the tiger continued to thrust his blade towards him. With no end in sight.
Splinter decided then and there, that an assassin as skilled as this, and a mutant with a sense a smell so sensitive, would be able to follow and track him down if he was to leave on foot. And his blood would most definitely leave a trail to follow. He had no choice.
And pulled his katana in front of him once more, as he prepared himself for the charging beast.
A loud bang sounded around the throne room as three small balls came from the roof and hit the floor, exploding into huge puffs of purple smoke.
Tigerclaw and the Shredder happened to be the ones in the direct line of fire of the smoke, and were blinded. All their senses from their smell, hearing and sight was immediately gone as the bombs continued to produce smoke.
As the hacking and gagging of the two reached Splinter's ears, he felt a gentle tug on his kimonos sleeve, and glanced down to see a small turtle bot holding onto him, while pointing up towards the windows above.
Splinter didn't need telling twice, and followed the small bot to safety outside, where he felt the relief of the cold winter's air hit his face. The turtle bot beeped at him a few times as it noticed Splinter's cut and shock it's head with a sad bleep.
It then took him by the hand and guided the mutant towards the Shellraiser, parked nearby in a alleyway, where it helped him into one of the seats as it took the driver's.
"I owe my thanks to you, my robotic friend." Splinter replied with some confusion on the whole situation, but nevertheless, he relaxed into the seat with content.
But the turtle robot shock it's head witha series of bleeps.
"No?" Splinter asked, "Then who is?"
By now, the bot had driven back down into the sewers using one of the many hidden doorways in the city. He pointed with one arm to his arm which had a opened panel on it, showing a steady flashing light, and the words: 'Emergency Rescue Protocol: Activated.' Beside them on a small screen. Once the bot was sure Splinter saw, he closed the panel back up, as if it was never there in the first place.
Splinter on the other hand, hummed in thought, "Hmm. I see." And sat back in his seat, making a mental note to bring this up later with Daiki.
As well as something else...
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
Echoing footsteps sounded around the tunnel as the ninjas ran for their lives, followed alarmingly close by a horde of Kraang-droids relentlessly shooting at them. Daiki took the lead with April still hanging onto his back for support, whilst the Hamatos took up the back, reflecting any lasers away from the group as they went.
Two Kraang-droids stood at the exit of the tunnel, also trying to shoot the teens, but Leonardo was quick to jump ahead and slice the two down.
The ninjas then found themselves looking up in a large circular room with ridged edges all the way up to the roof, over hundreds of feet above them. As well as flying brains coming from the ceiling, shooting at them.
In a few seconds, the teens decided the best way out, was up. And together, they started to jump up the walls, using the ridged edges as platforms to get higher up.
Leonardo notices a few of the brains coming towards them and slices their ships in half, before jumping on top of one, to get back to the platforms. Kicking the brain all the way back down to the floor.
Where the unfortunate Kraang landed straight onto the control console...
An enormous explosion from below rattled the entire ship as the teens continue jumping up, so impactful in fact, that it managed to completely destroy the ships engines.
The giant war machine started to tilt to the side, turning the inside of the circular room sideways along with it. The ninjas had to hang on to the platform as the ship slowly spun around, whilst still being shot at from infront as the Kraang continued their assault.
They waited for a moment, before charging ahead once more. Raphael stabbed his sai through one of the Kraang-droids, and used it as a shield for him and Daiki to get through the lasers, whilst Leo kicked down any Kraang in his path, and Miwa threw shurikens at any that came to close to her or Mikey. Until eventually, the path was clear enough for them to climb in ease.
"Leo, I have a question?" Mikey asks from beside the leader.
"Can it wait?" Leo replied with a little annoyance.
"Not really!" Mikey shouts back, "Did we beat that big Kraang thingy?"
"Yes Mikey, We did!" Leo confirms with an eye roll.
"Okay..." Mikey says as he slows down, "Then why is it following us!?"
"What!?" The others exclaimed as they stopped dead in their tracks, spinning round to see the large Kraang brain now coming towards them in some sort of robot body. Unlike the androids the smaller Kraang piloted, this robot had sharp tentacle like arms and legs, with three sets of sharp finger like rodes at the ends, and a laser sat atop it's head.
And without any hesitation, the five break into a run, fleeing for their lives as the Kraang only continued to get closer. It extends it's sharp fingered arm towards them, trying to smash or snatch them. It even managed to trip Mikey up at one point, before the orange-clad turtle got back up and booked it. But it was gaining on them fast, shooting lasers to try and slow their run.
And just as their hope was beginning to run short, Daiki spotted something ahead of them. "Everybody, there's one last escape pod up ahead!" He informed them, dodging a laser blast which hit the wall next to him.
The teens weaved their way passed the metallic arms of the Kraang as it smashed them down repeatedly, but Mikey on the other hand wasn't as lucky as the others.
The force of the foot coming down behind him was enough to threw him into the air, where he came crashing down again into a roll, disappearing straight between two of the ridges of the wall with a scream. But he was able to stop his fall by spreading his arms and legs out to cling into the walls.
"Mikey!" Miwa, Raph and Daiki all shout, stopping in their tracks to check on the youngest turtle.
"Go! I've got him!" Leo announces and runs back for his younger brother, leaving the three others to get themselves and April to the safety of the escape pod.
Mikey whimpers slightly as his hands and feet begin to lose their grip, only to look up at a sudden shadow to see the Kraang's laser beam looking down on him, preparing to fire.
But lucky for him, Leonardo jumped up into the air, just beside the oblivious Kraang, "Get away from my brother!" He screams with a flip, and slices off the top of the laser. It separates into two pieces and falls down the wall ridge where Mikey was, just missing him, and lands below with an explosion.
Leo held his hand out to the freckled turtle to grab, "Hurry, Mikey!" And grabs hold of Mikey's chain to pull him up to safety, just as the gigantic robotic body of the Kraang got back up onto it's feet again.
"There's nowhere for you to run, Earthlings!" He snarls as he begins his chase again, stopping just in front of the escape pod with Miwa, Raph, Daiki and April inside.
Mikey jumps into the pod with a sigh of relief, but not everyone is accounted for...
"Leo! Leonardo!" Daiki calls out to him, trying to signal the eldest turtle into the pod. But Leo stands outside, facing away from his team, and towards the towering shadow of Kraang Prime.
"All of you will die here!" The alien spits in mocking anger.
"Why isn't he moving..." Miwa muttered to herself, walking towards the edge of the pod.
"Leo! Come on dude!" Mikey begs as the leader continues to ignore them.
But that was because of the voice going through Leo's head. Reminding him of his Sensei's words, and his role as the team's leader.
"With the world at stake, the only thing of importance is that you complete your mission. No matter what you have to sacrifice. Or who..."
With a snarl of rage, the massive Kraang thrust itself forward once more, intent on smashing the escape pod with Leo's family and friends inside. But the leader in blue would not allow that.
And with a yell of his own, Leo leapt at the giant Kraang with Mikey's knunchucks in both hands, capturing the metallic arms in the chain, and pulling them far behind the Kraang's head.
Leo groaned and struggled as the oversized Kraang tried to break free of his hold, but the leader dug his feet down firm, and held on to the chain tightly.
"Leo!" The teens all shouted desperately.
"No!" Leo ordered between his breaths, "Get out of here, now!"
"What are you talking about?" Raph exclaims with wide eyes.
"Dude, you can't do this!" Mikey pleads, trying his hardest not to cry.
"Leo! Get in the pod now!!" Miwa suddenly barked in a demanding voice, "Or so help me, I'll-"
"Go!!" Leo snapped once more. "I can't hold it back any longer!"
"Damn it, Leo!" Miwa yells as she grabs hold of Mikey, pulling him away from the sides, "You better be right behind us!"
Raphael on the other hand, wasn't going to believe his older brother that easily, and made his way over to help him, but a pair of arms grab around his plastron, pulling him back into the pod. "LEO!"
"We gotta go now!" Daiki tries to restrain Raph, but fails miserably, leading Miwa to have to grab him aswell, as the two pull the hothead inside. It was at this point that April became aware of her surroundings, and the situation unfolding in front of her, but before she or anyone else could do anything for Leo, Mikey closed the glass dome down, and the pod launched.
At the last second, as the pod was still within Kraang Prime's reach, and Leonardo was still in his sights, Raphael broken free of Daiki and Miwa's hold, and took one last look at his older brother. "Leonardo!"
Time slowed down for the five teens, as they were shot out of the Technodrome and into the sky, diving straight into the ocean just outside of the city, and emerging back up.
The pod floated well in the water, and once it was stable enough, the glass dome lifted off, allowing the rising sun to shine through the pod at the downcast teens inside.
"I can't believe it..." Daiki whispers in shock. "We made it!-"
There was a loud whooshing noise from behind, as the Technodrome fell from the sky in a fiery ball of pink smoke. Hitting the ocean so hard it created waves, before slowly beginning to sink below the surface.
"Leo...No!" Mikey gasps in horror as the ship is completely engulfed by the waves, leaving nothing but a smoke trail behind. "I can't believe he's gone..."
"Leo..." Daiki murmurs, holding a now weeping April closer to him.
Raphael threw himself down solemnly, resting his arms on his knees. "I gave him nothing but a hard time..."
A sharp thud of a metal surface being punched sounded, as Miwa stood with her fist clenched on the pods wall.
"Miwa..." Daiki whispers quietly as he reaches up to comfort her.
"I should of done something...It's all my fault..." She clenched her jaw in anger, "I'm the oldest! I should of been the leader, then it would of been me! And Leo wouldn't off-" she's cut off by her younger brother's strong hug.
"It's not your fault, Sis..." Mikey says, trying his hardest to have a steady voice. "Leo saved us." Miwa blinks for a second, but eventually, she sinks into Mikey's embrace, rubbing his shell for her own and his comfort.
"If I had to do it all over again, I'd definitely be nicer to him..." Raph mutters to himself in guilt. The thought that his older brother was truly... gone, was just too much.
"Really?" The familiar voice asked casually from beside the pod.
"Really..." Raph responds sourly.
The five teens heads whip around to the side of the pod to the voice in the water.
"Leo?" Miwa asks once more.
They turn to see none other than Leonardo paddling towards them, using a empty Kraang flyer to float along with, before flashing them all a smirk.
"Leo! Leo, you dork!" Raph laughs as he and Daiki pull him up into the pod. "You scared the heck out of us."
Miwa on the other hand, pounds her fist right into his arm, making him visible flinch in pain. "Kono baka! 'You idiot!' If you ever do something so STUPID again!! I'll-"
Leo wraps his angry sister in a tight hold, one much like Mikey's, "I'm sorry sis, it won't happen again. Promise."
"It better not, Otōto. 'Little brother.'" She muttered as she pushes his shell away from her with a laugh. Only for Leo and everyone else in the pod to be pushed back into her in a group hug, initiated by Mikey himself.
"We won!" The freckled turtle cheers. "Oh, man, I love you bros!!" Mikey crys as they all laugh and cheer, whooping in victory in their group hug.

The six exhausted teens came through the turnstiles of the lair still smiling in glee. And as they entered the lair, Mr O'Neil, as well as Splinter, came out of the dojo to greet them.
"April!" Kirby cried as he raced to his daughter, trapping her in a firm hold, "I'm so sorry! I wasn't...I-"
"It's ok, Dad. I know it wasn't your fault." April tried to console him, "I'm just glad your ok!"
"Sensei!" The Hamatos called as they raced over to their father.
Mikey was just about to jump up and hug his father, when Raph abruptly stopped him, just in front of Splinter, and all the teens noticed the deep bleeding cut on his arm.
"Father, what happened!" Miwa questioned as she moved out of the way for Daiki to come closer to inspect the wound.
The rat sighed, but thought it best not to hide the truth. "I too, had to face my enemy today. One I did not think I would have to face for many years to come." Splinter remarked sourly. "But once the Shredder turned April over to the Kraang, I was unable to escape from him, or his tiger henchman easily."
Daiki tensed slightly at the names Splinter mentioned, as the others gasped.
"You fought the Shredder AND Tigerclaw!" Raphael yelled in disbelief, "And we missed it?!- Ow!" He shrieked as Leo hit him on the shoulder.
"Indeed. But that is a tale for another time." Splinter replied pointedly, "Right now, I am just glad to see you safe, my children." He finished his sentence by welcoming his children in with a smile. An invitation, Mikey didn't need saying twice, as he jumped up and hugged his father. Miwa, Leo and Raph then followed suit, and joined the embrace.
Daiki smiled at the two families in front of him, but ultimately felt like he was intruding on their personal moments. He decided he'd wait for them to get their reunions over with in the kitchen, to give them more privacy, but that never happened...
"All of my children."
The words stopped him in his place, as Daiki glanced around to see Splinter now holding his arms open to him, as well as the other Hamatos making room for him in their family hug.
And he felt himself become heavy with these feelings he hadn't had in so long...
He took a tentative step towards the rat, as the feelings of being wanted, and being part of a family again, rushed to his brain and heart. Making his footfalls quicker as he found himself racing towards the Hamatos like they were the lifeline he had been searching for his entire life. Embracing Splinter's maroon robe with both hands as he buried his head into his chest. Praying quietly that the others that had now come around him, securing him into their family hold, wouldn't hear his soft whimpers of happiness.
And that was how the Hamatos stay for a few minutes, with Splinter taking the time to carefully stroke each child's head, and check them over for wounds, while the teen's told their father about the Kraang's defeat. All the way up, until Daiki decided to part from the hug.
"Um, Splinter-san, I'd like to clean your wound if... that's ok with you?" Daiki inquired, while nervously twirling his fingers around each other. "It looks quite deep, and I wouldn't want it to get infected?"
Splinter hummed at the teens nervous fingers pulling at each other, "I would appreciate that, Daiki. Thank you." And agreed to Daiki's request, hoping he may be able to pick apart the real problem.
"Yeah!" Mikey chirped happily, "D can patch you up Sensei, and maybe...while your doing that? We could start getting the party ready?" The turtle finished by nervously tapping his two index fingers together, whilst also making the biggest puppy eyes the rat had ever seen.
His siblings were also giving sad eyes in his direction, and all in all, Splinter was defeated.
Their Sensei chuckled, and stroked his beard in pretend thought, "I believe a party is certainly a good way to celebrate your mission's success tonight."
"Ah yeah dawg!!" Mikey cheered as he high three-ed his other siblings, who all wore faces mixed with shock and excitement. "Party time!!"
TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT TMNT
As the rest of the occupants in the lair prepared for the party, getting old vinyls out for music, as well as ordering multiple types of pizza at Mikey's request, Daiki slid the infirmary doors open, letting Splinter in, before closing them shut again for some privacy.
As the two made their way into the infirmary, Splinter couldn't help but notice how much cleaner everything was in there, as well as organised. He went over to a desk table and looked inside the bottom draw where he had last dumped of a few of the medical supplies. Only to find the draw full of their syringe supply instead, "Where has the gauze tape gone?-"
"Top draw, second to the right" Daiki answered back without even needing to look, coming over to Splinter a moment later with all the other supplies he would need.
Splinter raised an eyebrow in thought, and opened the draw. Seeing the gauze supply neatly packed inside. The rat chuckle, and picked one of them up. "You have been busy in here, I see."
"Oh, um, I felt like everything was sort of all over the place?" Daiki replied awkwardly, "So I thought I'd organise the supplies to help keep things in check."
"Well, I would say you have improved the infirmary greatly." Splinter remarked proudly, not failing to notice the way Daiki turned away nervously.
"Thanks..." He muttered back.
A beeping behind the two alerted them to the little robot turtle waddling it's way over to them. A few wires were sticking out of his head and sparking, but apart from that, he looked in near new condition.
"Metalhead! You were awesome!" Daiki praised his little friend, giving him a gentle head pat as he inspected the damage. "It's not too bad. I'll fix that for you later, Buddy." He announced, and the little bot raised his hand in a thumbs up motion in understanding, making his way back to the desk to enter sleep mode.
"You are quite the inventor, my child." Splinter admired, handing off the supplies to Daiki while he pulled up his sleeve. Revealing the deep cut that Tigerclaw's blade has left behind. "Your emergency rescue? Worked quite well."
At this, Daiki perked up a bit, with a cheerful smile. "Ah! I'm so glad the E.R.P Is working right!"
"And what exactly does it do?" Splinter asked in genuine interest, something that took Daiki off guard.
In the last ten years, no adult in his life has ever asked him how one of his inventions worked, or even been interested in his work to begin with! "W-well, when we found out you had gone after April we all went after both of you. But the fact that April was the only one in the Technodrome, meant that you had fallen for Saki's trick."
He then pulled out his phone and showed Splinter the screen. "So I clicked the E.R.P App on my phone and selected you, then your location. And boom! Immediate rescue results!" Daiki exclaimed with a giant grin, proud that his invention had worked so well in helping them.
Splinter smiled warmly at the boy's enthusiasm, and stroked his head. "Well, I am in debt to you, Child. Because of you, and your brilliant mind, I was able to escape the Shredder."
The brunet messed up his hair a bit with a chuckle, "Don't say that, Splinter... it's only repaying your kindness back." He shrugged, and began putting a small amount of antiseptic onto a cloth, applying it on the wound with gentle pressure to disinfect the area before stitching.
"Either way, I am grateful to have you here with us, My Child." Splinter hummed in appreciation.
Daiki finished cleaning up the wound, and placed the equipment to one side as he grabbed the needle and thread. But threading a needle wasn't an easy task when your hands shook ever so slightly with spiraling nerves. "Splinter-san... would now be a good time to um, talk with you?" The brunet asked in a low voice, keeping his eyes solely on his work.
"Ah, yes." Splinter replied almost uncertainly, something even the ninja Master had not intended. "You wanted to talk to me this morning about an important matter that you had concern on?" He tried to recover quickly, but at the sudden crestfallen look that took hold of Daiki's face, he knew the child had caught on.
"Saki told you...didn't he..." the teen muttered in a dejected way, keeping his eyes down.
"That...would be correct." Splinter replied back calmly.
Daiki did his best to keep his emotions steady, "Hamato Yoshi, I never meant anything by lying to you..."
"My child..." The rat murmured, but the teen continued.
"When I first came to New York, I was only here for one reason. And that was to assist my Master in your murder. After that, I was to return back to Japan. Where I would carry out the rest of my life, serving as a faithful Foot clan Soldier." Daiki threaded the needle by this point, and Splinter made a mental note to allow him to work and talk at the same time with no interruptions, thinking it would help his clouded and overwhelmed mind to make sense of his thoughts and feelings.
"But, that wasn't what happened. Because your sons, and daughter helped me. In more ways then they'd ever know." Daiki began to stitch the wound up by this point, finding it much easier to talk about his thoughts whilst distracting himself af the same time.
"Because of them, I was able to make friends, close friends! And all of you here, are like family to me." He smiled at the thought and continued his work. "Something I didn't think I'd ever have again..."
"And, because of them...I found out about my past. The truth, about my past...Because I had the confidence to actually seek out the truth, rather than follow blindly after a lie."
"My parents were murdered by Oroku Saki. They were killed...because my mother was a Hamato...and my father tried to hide her from him." Daiki pulled the needle back out, and finished closing the wound, sitting back on his stool to check over his work, whilst also taking a mental breather.
"It's crazy, isn't it?" He muttered to no one in particular, "That I had to come halfway across the world to find out my life was a lie."
"But ultimately... this is the truth. And one I've found hard to fully accept. Causing me to lie, not only to you, and Mikey, and the others... But to myself..." He whispered the last part, but Splinter heard it clearly. "I-I understand if you want me gone..."
The rats ears perked up in shock, and even his face showed his sudden change of emotion. "Want you gone?" He questioned for detail.
At this point, Daiki's head was down. He couldn't bare to look into Splinter's eyes, to see the hurt and betrayal pass them as he revealed that he had lied to the mutant who had given him a home when he most needed one, "Hai, for lying to you all, after you all gave me a second chance-"
The hug was instant, with strong but gentle arms pulling him off of his stool as the rat also stood with him. His head was being forced up by a caring but firm paw, making sure he did not look anywhere, other then the kind and compassionate amber eyes that ever so lightly shone with unshed tears. "My Son. You belong here, with us...with me."
Mahogany eyes shone back to the rat's, only these eyes let the tears fall. As the brunet sobbed and buried himself in the protective hold of his father figure, quietly muttering in Japanese his thanks into the maroon robe, aswell as his apologies. All while Splinter gently stroked his head, calming the teen with Japanese words of love and encouragement.
That was when the infirmary's privately concealed doors were flung open by the freckled turtle, as he danced his way obliviously into the middle of the two's moment. Followed shortly after by his siblings, who were quick to hault in their tracks at the scene by the door.
"Yo! Donnie, Sensei! You guys still in here? We're just getting the party start!-" But Mikey's words died down as he noticed the two in front of him, where he broke into a sprint to also randomly join the hug, making the rat and human teen chuckle.
"Is everything ok?" Mikey questioned as he held his Sensei and friend.
"Yeah, Mikey." Daiki laughed as he wiggled his way free, "We're all good, I was just talking with Splinter."
"About what?" Miwa asked as she and the others joined their side, but the question put an abrupt stop in Daiki's words.
Confessing to Splinter was one thing, but to the others? To Mikey??
Michelangelo was probably the entire reason any of this happened to him, if Mikey hadn't of shown him kindness when he was most in need of it...he hated to think that he'd still be blindly following after Saki... "Um...I-I, uh...we were-"
"-Talking about how Morikawa feels this victory is like a new start." Splinter replied almost instantly, catching all of the teens of guard.
"Huh?" They all replied in unison.
"A new beginning, and chapter in your life." Splinter added casually, and even made slightly eye contact with Daiki, silently telling him that he understood the boy was not ready to tell the others yet, and gave him a new topic to start on.
"Oh yeah!" Daiki exclaimed as he caught on, before taking the lead. "I've actually been thinking, and...I want to change my name."
"Change your name?" Mikey mused.
"Hai, like how Splinter changed his when he came to start a new life here. I wish to do the same, now that I have my own do-over at life?" Daiki remarked happily, the thought of this new do over had him thinking of the endless possibilities it could bring. Possibilities, he'll face with his...family.
"Huh. Yeah, I think that'll be cool?" Raph added casually.
"Yeah, it sounds like a good idea." Leo nodded in agreement.
"And I'm guessing we already know what that name is going to be?" Miwa added as she leant her arm on Daiki's shoulder. Where the others all chuckled, as Daiki grinned at her in understanding.
"Really!? What is it??" Mikey yelled in excitement, missing the face palm from Daiki, the groans from his siblings, and the slow head shake of his father.
"Don't tell me!" The turtle yelled, then pressed his fingers up to his head, "It's Marcus right?" His name suggestion was met with blank stares.
"Adrian??" He asked, receiving head shakes again.
"Justin!?"
