Well here is the chapter that finished this notebook I started this story with (I unfortunately had to tear out the last page early on to make a note to Dad when we attending a city hall meeting and I couldn't stay any longer because I was hungry so as a way to tell him silently where I was going) and this was the planned reason why Bacon Bit ran away from the beginning and the reason she held onto her secret for so long was because of fear of her creators but probably also a bit of shame thinking back to why she let this be the reason she believed humans were irredeemably evil
Bacon Bit sighed as thought back to that fateful day
"I will always remember them strapping the time machine to my back, checking all my vitals to make sure I was healthy enough for time travel...But it was the scientists themselves who made a miscalculation...Instead of sending me to the stone age, they accidentally sent me to another dimension!"
The three adults around her gasped! None of them were expecting that!
"What was it like?" Von Kaiser asked because from what he learned from his quantum physics course at university another dimension could be as familiar as First Earth is to Third Earth, or it could be as alien as a dimension where everything was made of gasses!
"When I finally got my bearings backā¦" Bacon Bit said "...It seemed this miscalculation had instead sent me to Feudal Japan instead of stone age Europe and I said as much into the communication device they gave me to report to them my progress and also so they could pull me back if things got really dangerous." Bacon Bit sighed and rubbed her temples as she she remembered
"My first hint that I wasn't on Earth anymore came when I saw two people coming up the road and I quickly jumped into some nearby bushes so they wouldn't see me but then I noticed as they passed by that they were floating instead of walking! Also I noticed their bodies were translucent like ghosts! When I reported this to the scientists they went over their miscalculation of the coordinates and they realized they had sent me to another dimension altogether!"
Von Kaiser scowled deeply thinking about just how bad a miscalculation one has to make to send your experimental test subject not back in time but to another dimension! Really made him feel Bacon Bit's suspicions they were lunatics were correct! Which seemed to be confirmed when Bacon Bit said
"Turns out the difference mattered very little to them because it was magic they wanted and it was magic they got!" She snorted a bit huffily "They told me to continue exploring and I saw all kinds of strange creatures there so I quickly realized a four foot tall talking piglet wouldn't look that strange...So I went up to somebody and asked where I was and I was told I was in a sort of space between dimensions, known to mast worlds as the Battle Nexus!"
DUN DUN DUN! You may be wondered how the Scientists got her there when it seems from the episodes you need to chant a spell near some water to form a portal to the Nexus well this probably hints the 'Scientists' were already messing about with things they shouldn't have hence their obsession with magic
