Later that day, Aina stepped outside of the apartment to take out the trash.

She was blissfully unaware of a presence watching her from the shadows, stalking her and waiting for an opportunity to strike. Aina shrieked as she was grabbed by her arm and her mouth muffled by a cloth until she passed out.

The figure dragged her away quickly and quietly before disappearing into the shadows.

Meanwhile, Anzai got back from a ruthless search for more devil attacks, but there were none so far. He checks his phone periodically, hoping to hear from Aina, but there was no response.

Hurried home, feeling a sense of dread building in his chest. He couldn't shake the uneasiness that something was wrong. He quickly unlocked the front door and went inside, calling out Aina's name. "Miss Aina, I'm home. Miss Aina?" He didn't hear anything back from her, couldn't sense her anywhere in the apartment, quickly checking the other rooms but she was nowhere to be found or couldn't sense her anywhere in the apartment, only to realize she wasn't here.

Panic and fear coursed through him as he suddenly picked up an unfamiliar scent. And that could only mean one thing: she was taken by a devil.

Somewhere in the district, Aina slowly opened her eyes, groggy and disoriented. Her vision started to clear up, soon realizing that she wasn't in Anzai's apartment.

She finds herself in a small, dimly lit room, sparsely furnished with only a bed, a small table, and a chair. The air is stale and musty, the walls covered in peeling wallpaper, and the floors are bare concrete.

As Aina looked around her surroundings in the room, she saw a person sitting in front of her with his legs crossed, his crimson eyes fixed on her, and a sly smile played on his lips. She gasped as he chuckled at her reaction. "Yes, my dear. I've been waiting for this moment alone with you for a long time." The mysterious stranger said as his smile grew wider, standing up from the chair he was sitting in and slowly approaching her. As she backed away, her back pressed against the wall. "There's no use in escaping, Pet," his voice dripped with malice and predatory intent.

The stranger knelt down towards Aina, his hand reached out and grabbed her chin, forcing her to tilt her head back as he studied her expression with a mixture of fascination. Aina trembled in fear as he closed the distance between them. "You're so beautiful when you're afraid," he sneered cruelly. "I could just devour you right now, but where's the fun in that? I want to savor every moment of this." His crimson eyes gleamed with a sinister light as his face got closer to hers. "I've grown quite fond of you, darling. You're so...fragile, so helpless, and it's...just so satisfying to see you cower before me." He said, his breath hot against Aina's skin. "You have no idea how rare and valuable you are. You're a delicacy, a treasure to be consumed by someone like me."

Aina gulped, unsettled by his approach as he chuckled in amusement at her discomfort. His lips brushed against her ear: "Don't be scared, little one." His voice sent shivers down her spine. "I promise I won't hurt you...much."

Aina shut her eyes tightly as the stranger noticed her expression, chuckling again. "Oh, I see." His voice dripped with sarcasm. "You're thinking about someone else, aren't you? Someone who can't save you now. Someone who's not here to protect you from me." His face crossed with a look of annoyance as he grinned. "But let me tell you something, sweetheart. That half-devil is nothing compared to me. He's weak and pathetic, and he can't save you from what's coming." Aina's eyes widened as he let go of her chin. "Half-devil?" She said speechlessly. "Anzai...a half-devil?" The captor smirked at Aina being unaware of Anzai's true nature. "Poor thing, you didn't know? He's not anyone who you think he is. Just a monster as I am, and he can't protect you from the devil that lurks within him."

Aina started to have a look of doubt as he revealed his true identity. She couldn't believe that Anzai had lied to her. "Oh, don't look so surprised." He said with mockery. "He's been hiding his true nature by pretending to be something he's not. Just as capable of hurting you as I am." Aina didn't say anything as the devil smirked down at her. "Aww, are you feeling vulnerable now? Good. You should be afraid, terrified of me and what I can do to you. And you should be angry at your half-devil friend for playing you for a fool all this time." Aina held herself in her arms around her elbows, digging her nails into her skin, experiencing uncontrollable emotions of betrayal and confusion.

A look of satisfaction spread across the devil's expression. "That's right, my dear pet. Let your anger and betrayal fester inside you, and when you're at your lowest, I'll be there to take advantage of your weakness." Aina shuddered through her teeth as she breathed. "What do you want with me?" she asked fearfully, as the devil's expression turned serious, looking at her. "I want you because you're special," his whispers low and menacing.

Aina quivered by his tension as he let out a devious smile. "Don't worry...I'm willing to do whatever it takes to have your blood. Even if it means breaking you in the process." She glanced back at her devil captor, then her eyes shifted to a piece of broken wood behind her. "What's wrong? Are you thinking of trying to outsmart me?" He asked, raising an eyebrow, with a hint of curiosity and amusement in his voice. "Don't bother; you won't be able to get away from me. I'm much stronger than you think."

Within a split second, Aina threw the broken wood at the devil, who was caught off guard, stumbling back and momentarily stunned as she made a run for the window.

"You think you can escape from me that easily?" The devil growled, recovering quickly.

Aina steps out of the window carefully, staring down in horror at the height below as she stands on the ledge. She suddenly spots a figure from a distance, jumping from roof to roof. Her eyes widen at the figure's appearance, which is much closer than she realized.

"Anzai !"
