Anzai's body tensed up, instantly on alert as his devil instincts kicked in. "What was that?" Aina said, feeling scared. "Stay here," Anzai said in a serious tone. He got up and walked over to the balcony window.

Peering outside to see what the noises were coming from, he saw a group of troubling men standing outside, looking around for something. His expression turned grim as he recognized their stances and scent. He quickly turned back to Aina. "Stay hidden, Aina. I'll handle them." Aina nodded as he instructed her. "Be careful, Anzai." she said as he nodded back, his eyes filled with determination. Knowing he had to act fast to protect her, "I will. I'll be back." he said firmly, grabbing a handgun from the kitchen drawer and quietly made his way out to the front door.

Hiding in the shadows, he waited to make his move to ambush them. Keeping his gun in a tight grip, he leaped out from his hiding spot and aimed his gun at them. "Don't move!" he shouted firmly and authoritatively. The men suddenly lunged to attack as Anzai braced himself. He fired several shots at them, taking them down, but they weren't dead as they snarled. "Persistent bastards, aren't you?" he said, as they were closing in on him quickly. Dodging their attacks as he tried to get a clear shot. His heart racing, adrenaline pumping through his veins as he fought for his life.

The sound of gunshots echoed through the room. Aina covered her ears, blocking out the noise. Anzai's voice rang out, shouting warnings and fighting the devils to keep them away. Her heart pounding in her chest, she rushed to the balcony and saw Anzai fighting off the devils below. He was starting to tire, knowing he was outnumbered as he continued to fire shots with deadly accuracy.

Aina looked around the apartment, searching for anything that could help her. Her eyes landed on a knife sitting on the table. She took it and went back to the balcony, slit her wrist, and blood seeped out, causing the devils to stop fighting. Anzai's eyes widened as he saw what she had done.

Thier eyes fixed on Aina's blood dripping from her slit wrist. "Aina! What are you doing ?! Get back inside !" He shouted at her in a mixture of anger and fear. Aina dropped the knife as the devils quickly jumped on the balcony, surronding her. Thier deep bloodlust eyes glowed with hunger and desire, growling and snarling as they bare thier fangs, closing in on her.

Anzai's heart raced as he saw them cornering her. Needing to act fast before they harmed her, he leaped up, positioning himself in front of her. "Stay back! Don't touch her!" he shouted with anger and determination. His body shielded Aina from the devils as his eyes darted back and forth, assessing the situation. "Stay behind me. I won't let them hurt you," he said, his eyes blazing. She clenched the back of Anzai's shoulder, feeling it, fueled by his determination to protect her at all costs.

He took a deep breath as he snarled, his red eyes changed with a fierce intent. Charging at the devils, they hesitated for a moment, taken aback by Anzai's sudden display of power, but they quickly regained their composure and fought.

The battle was brutal and intense. Anzai fought with ferocity, his movements swift and precise as he dodged their attacks and countered with his own, using his speed and strength to his advantage. The devils were no match for him, one by one, blood splattered across the balcony, and Aina backed away, watching the horrid bloodbath. Anzai's eyes burned with intensity, grabbing one of the devils by the face and ripping it apart by its mouth. He let out a guttural scream as it fell to the ground, its body twitching in agony. Panting heavily, Anzai glanced at the other devil, visibly shaken and cowering under his murderous glare. The sheer brutality of Anzai's attack left the other devil terrified, taking a step back, darting around to escape, but Anzai grabbed him and bit his neck, peeling it off with his teeth.

Aina flinched as blood splattered across her face. Watching Anzai kill the devils was terrifying and awe-inspiring to her. The other devil's body fell to the ground, convulsing as it bled out. Anzai spit out the chunk of flesh he had torn off. His eyes still fixed on the devil barely alive, he killed him by breaking his neck as it lay lifeless and motionless.

Anzai stood over it for a moment. His chest still heaving as he panted to catch his breath. Glancing back at Aina till his eyes changed back into a normal bright red. He took a step toward her, concern etched on his face. "Are you alright, Aina?" He said, his voice rough and low. Seeing the fear in her eyes but also a glimmer of recognition and affection. He reached out, gently placed a blood-soaked hand on her shoulder, trying to calm her down. "It's okay." He said softly, his heart aching at the sight of her trembling body. She then took his blood-coated hand.

Feeling the warmth of her touch, even through the sticky blood that covered his pale skin. There was a mix of emotions in his eyes; guilt, worry, and deep affection for her. "I'm sorry," Anzai said quietly. "I never wanted you to see me like this." Aina gently squeezed his hand and looked back at him. "It's okay. I know you were trying to protect me." Anzai's expression softened as she spoke. His grip on her tightened slightly, making his heart swell warmly with her gaze. "I just...couldn't let them hurt you, no matter what it took..." He glanced at the blood dripping from her wrist as he took her arm to examine the cut. "Why did you do that?" He said, laced with concern. Aina swallowed a little before she spoke. "I...wanted to help...they were going to kill you." Anzai gently brushed his thumb over the cut. "You idiot," he said, tinged with frustration and worry. "You didn't have to risk your life. I could have handled it myself!" Aina gasped softly by his outburst. "I'm sorry..." She said sadly.

Immediately regretting being harsh on her, Anzai took a deep breath and calmed himself down. "No, I'm sorry," his voice turned softer, barely above a whisper. "I didn't mean to snap at you. I just...don't want you to put yourself in danger for me." Noticing the blood on her face, he wiped it off with the back of his hand, leaving a smear on his pale skin. "Damn it," he muttered under his breath. "I'm nothing but a monster now." Aina suddenly grabbed him by the collar of his jacket. "You're not!" she yelled. "You're not a monster. Don't call yourself that!" Anzai was surprised, hearing the conviction in her voice. "But...I...I killed those devils," he said, his expression turning grim. "I tore them apart with my bare hands. How can you say I'm not a monster?"

Aina clenched her teeth, "I told you before...I'm not afraid of you, Anzai! I know how hard you tried to keep your demons hidden away, but all you're doing is hurting yourself...please, Anzai." She leaned on him, crying. "Don't do this to me." Anzai felt a pang of guilt as her tears soaked into his shirt. Wrapping his arms around her body, he held her. "I'm sorry," he whispered thick with emotion, trying to find words of comfort. "I never meant to hurt you. I just...didn't want you to be scared of me."

Aina's grip tightened as she clenched the fabric. "I don't care if you're a devil! I don't care if you're a monster! You're Anzai, that's what matters! I love you for who you are! I don't care about anything else! I love you. I love you, Anzai." she cried, shouting out her true feelings to him. The feelings she wanted to say as Anzai's heart fluttered, never expecting those words from her. He held her tightly in an almost desperate grip. "You love me?" he questioned. Aina welled up in tears in her eyes. "I do...I love you." His eyes watered as he saw the sincerity and love in her. Gently cupping her face in his tender touch. "I love you too." His voice trembled. "I was afraid of what you think of me if you knew the truth." His lips met hers in a tender kiss, pouring all of his feelings overwhelming him as he held her close.

After a moment, He pulled away, his red eyes locked on her gentle blue ones with a mixture of love and adoration. "I'm sorry for being stupid." he said, "I should have told you the truth if I had trusted you more." Aina sigh softly, feeling Anzai's breath close to her lips. Her hands on his, sending shivers down his spine by her touch as he leaned closer, his forehead rested against hers. "I promise, I'll never hide anything from you again." He said with earnest. "I'll be honest with you, Aina, no matter what. You deserve to know the truth." Aina smiles warmly at the comfortness in his voice. "I love you so much, Anzai." His heart filled with joy at her words. Stroking her cheek with his thumb, "I love you too, Aina more than you'll ever know." His smile widened as he kissed her again.
