The wind howled through the rift, bending the very fabric of space and time. Senti, the Herscher of Sentience, stood in the middle of the desolate void, her white hair cascading down like a celestial waterfall. Her crimson eyes, full of curiosity and determination, searched the space around her as if probing the very essence of the universe. She had been sensing a strange presence—a force that felt both familiar and alien at the same time. It called to her, drawing her towards it like an unbreakable thread.

Is this…Senti thought, her mind whirling with the possibilities. There was only one being in the multiverse who could stir such a feeling within her—a being that she had heard of through whispers in the realms of the unknown. The Unknown God, an entity so powerful and mysterious that even the most ancient of beings trembled in their wake.

She had to know if it was true.

The space ahead of her shimmered, and the air grew thick with power. A figure slowly materialized in front of her, bathed in a golden light. Senti narrowed her eyes. The figure before her was unmistakable.

It looked like Kiana, the very person who had been a thorn to her side of her very existence. The same striking features, the same fierce aura, but this was not her.

It couldn't be.

It felt different.

"Are you Kiana?" Senti's voice was calm, but there was a sharpness to it as if she could cut through the very fabric of the universe with her words.

The Unknown God—this woman who resembled Kiana in every way—did not answer immediately. She merely raised an eyebrow, her expression one of faint amusement. "Kiana? I think you're mistaken."

Senti's brows furrowed. She's definitely lying... Everything about this being screamed power. Yet, her reaction was one of denial, almost like a child playing a game.

"You're telling me you're not Kiana?" Senti asked, her voice dripping with skepticism.

The Unknown God sighed, a soft, almost bored sound. "I don't know who this 'Kiana' is. I am simply… me. And I believe you have confused me with someone else."

Senti's mind raced. She had sensed the void energy emanating from this being. It was far too similar to the energy she felt from the Herscher of Void. There was no way this was just a coincidence. She wasn't buying into the act.

"You're really going to play dumb with me?" Senti asked, her eyes narrowing further. "I've seen enough to know when something doesn't add up. You're clearly hiding something."

The Unknown God smirked and took a step back, the air around her distorting with a subtle force. "I'm not hiding anything. Perhaps you've mistaken me for someone else. But in any case, I have no time to entertain you." With a flick of her wrist, she began to fade from view, her form dissipating like smoke in the wind.

Senti's eyes widened. Not so fast!

"No way you're getting away from me!" she yelled, her voice echoing in the empty void.

With a burst of energy, she launched herself forward, faster than the eye could track. Her movements were fluid, precise, and powered by the very essence of sentience itself. She extended her arm, trying to grab hold of the Unknown God's disappearing form. But the figure just laughed—gently, yet with an air of supreme confidence—and vanished completely, leaving only a faint trace of energy behind.

But Senti was relentless. Her mind flared with indignation, and she refused to be brushed off like that. She wasn't some passive observer—no, she was the Herscher of Sentience. If there was one thing she excelled at, it was knowing when something was off and taking action to expose it.

She grinned widely, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "You can run, but you can't hide!" Senti's body rippled with sentient power as she zoomed through the void in search of the Unknown God.

The Unknown God, sensing the change in the air, appeared again in the distance, standing atop a floating shard of light. Her stance was calm, almost relaxed, as if she were waiting for Senti to catch up.

"Still trying to catch me?" she asked, her voice tinged with amusement.

Senti's grin only widened. "You can't escape now!" Her body flickered, her senses heightened to their limit. Every nerve in her being screamed as she bounded toward her target with a burst of raw speed. She felt the air bend as she shot forward, ready to grab the Unknown God by the arm.

But with a simple step, the Unknown God was gone again, vanishing just before Senti could touch her.

"Really? Are you sure you're not Kiana?" Senti called out, her voice tinged with mock frustration. "Because you're sure pulling some sneaky tricks on me like her!"

The Unknown God appeared on another shard, but this time, there was a slightly annoyed edge to her voice. "Listen, I don't know what you're talking about. But you're certainly persistent."

Senti's eyes gleamed with determination. "Persistent? I don't give up when it comes to the truth!" She surged forward again, her presence becoming a blur of blue light. This time, she was faster, more precise—like a hunter locking onto its prey.

The Unknown God raised an eyebrow, then seemed to simply blink out of existence again.

Senti froze mid-air. "You… You can't keep doing this! I'm not letting you off the hook!" With a snap of her fingers, Senti created a barrage of ethereal clones of herself, all hurtling through the void in every direction, surrounding the Unknown God in a web of sentient constructs.

The Unknown God looked around, her smirk never fading. "This is cute. But you're wasting your time. I am not who you think I am."

At that moment, one of Senti's clones darted forward, creating a net of light to trap the Unknown God. However, the Unknown God simply flicked her hand, and the net disintegrated into nothing.

"Come on!" Senti shouted, laughing despite the exasperation building inside her. "You've got to be Kiana! No one else could pull this off!"

The Unknown God narrowed her eyes, her expression darkening slightly. "You're not going to give up, are you?"

Senti smiled. "I never give up when I'm chasing the truth."

There was a long pause. Then, with a resigned sigh, the Unknown God spoke, her voice soft yet firm. "Fine. I suppose it would be easier to settle this with words, rather than endless games."

Senti's grin grew wider. "So, you admit it! You are Kiana!"

The Unknown God chuckled, shaking her head. "No, I never said that. But I do think you've confused me for someone else. However, I do know this: You're not going to let this go. And that is something even I can respect."

Senti crossed her arms. "Ha, thought so. Still not buying your little act, but I'll let you off this time. Next time, though? You're mine."

The Unknown God raised her hands in mock surrender, smiling faintly. "Until next time, then."

And with a final ripple of light, she vanished from view, leaving Senti alone in the void.
