Garp was currently in his home in Okinawa, where he had settled down. Just then, his phone rang. "Huh, who is this?"

"Grandpa, it's me, Inko."

"Oh, Inko-chan, how are you? And how is the brat?"

"Hisashi is great."

"Bah, I'm talking about my precious grandson."

"Izuku is fine, but—"

"But what?"

"Seems he's quirkless, so he's feeling down."

"Bwahaha! No need, I'll cheer him right up! Now tell me, what happened exactly?"

Inko did so, and a few minutes later, Garp asked, "What did you do when he asked?"

"I couldn't do anything but cry."

"Ugh, just go and tell him he can be a hero. I'll be there to train him."

"What?"

"This is final, bye."

A few days later...

Izuku looked as his grandpa arrived.

Garp grin as he took Izuku on his Shoulder "Come on, brat, let's start your training."

Izuku blinked "Eh, really?"

"Of course. You want to be a hero, right?"

"Yes, but what about my quirk?"

"Bwahaha! That fool doctor doesn't know. I'm sure you have Haki."

"Haki?"

"Yep, it's my quirk. It's been passed down to my children and your mom. I can feel it using my Observation Haki."

"So I have a quirk?"

"Of course you do. That quack doctor doesn't know anything. Come on, let's start you training in Rokushiki and Haki."

"I can still be a hero?"

"Of course! Leave it all to Great Grandpa Garp. I'll train you into the greatest hero."

Inko sighed, knowing how her father trained. "If you are going to train him, I want someone else to train him in martial arts as well. You are fine and all, but he needs someone else to train him, and not just your reckless way."

"Eh, he doesn't need it. All we need is a punch."

Inko appeared and grabbed Garp's ear. "This is final, Grandpa."

"Ouch, okay, woman. Sheesh, fine, I know a guy to train him in martial arts. He's my senior and has a slow aging or immortality quirk. He's been refining martial arts for over a hundred years. He's perfect."

"Good."

"Also, I'll keep an eye on you."

"Come on, Inko. My training is great."

"It's dangerous."

"Eh, you and your father went through it, and look, you turned out fine."

"Hah, whatever. I'll also come. I need to stretch my limbs."

"Sure."

The next day...

Izuku looked at the elderly man in front of him as Garp grinned. "Izuku, meet Jigoro KiruKiru. He will train you. He looks weak, but he can rip out bare flesh with his style, since he can harden his hands with a knock-off version of Tekkai."

"Garp, you're the knock-off one! Uche-ryu Karate Hardening was done hundreds of years ago."

"Yeah Yeah Whatever let start training alredy we are burning daylight"

A few days later...

Inko looked around. "Grandpa, why are we in a quirk research facility?"

"I know he has Haki, and I will prove it."

Izuku looked at him in hope. "Really, Grandpa?"

"Yup. Plus, two theories were debunked hundreds of years ago. The man who wrote it was a total nutjob—Kyudai Giraki, who also wrote the stupid doomsday theory."

Izuku nodded.

A few hours later...

"So, what is it?"

The doctor looked at him. "It seems Izuku has two quirks, both dormant, but one seems more awakened."

Inko nodded.

Izuku smiled. "I just have to awaken it now, huh?"

Garp smiled. "Come on, kid, let's start training."

Five years later...

Izuku looked happy as he proudly held up the martial arts trophy. He had won, beating all of the adults, though he had to be interrogated by a detective to confirm he was not using his quirk, after which he was given the award.

"Excuse me?"

He turned back to see an orange-haired girl smiling at him. "You tell me who trained you."

"Eh, me? Who are you?"

"My name is Itsuka Kendo, winner of the children's bracket."

"Oh, nice to meet you. My name is Izuku Midoriya."

"Nice to meet you. Say, how do you train? I want to be strong too."

"Well, my grandpa and Kiru-sensei trained me."

"Can they train me?"

"I don't know. You'll have to ask them."

"Wait, I'll go get Mom and give you her number."

Izuku nodded as he looked back and saw his opponents. "Why are you guys here?"

Itsuka looked at the two men there.

"You cheating brat! Don't act smug. I know you cheated."

"I did not, idiot."

"Doesn't matter, you freak. I'll teach you your lesson for cheating."

"Huh? You're so pathetic. You want to gang up on me for losing?"

"Gah! Die!" The man charged at Izuku, kicking him away and then punching the second man.

They both glared.

The man growled. Soon, he gained animalistic features, like that of a dog with red fur, while the other man was surrounded by water.

"Let me show you why you don't mess with us, freak."

A while later...

Izuku breathed hard, getting really annoyed and stressed. He was pushed to his limit and beaten down, currently inside a water bubble.

He then heard a scream as he saw the half-man, half-dog holding an unconscious Itsuka. The man grinned. "Now, look as that bitch dies," as he slashed at her.

Izuku glared. "Let her go!" A huge wave of Haki blasted the man away, while the half-dog let go of Itsuka and stumbled back. The water surrounding him became tighter as the water user held on.

"The hell?"

Izuku glared. "I won't ever hurt anyone again!" As he was about to pass out, due to lack of oxygen combined with stress, annoyance, and high emotions, something very miraculous occurred. Izuku felt a wave of power burst out as he felt heat rise. Then, a huge wave of greenish-blue fire exploded, hitting the water user.

"GAHHHH!" The man screamed in agony before he doused himself in water.

Izuku glared. "I won't let you!" Fire exploded everywhere.

"CALM DOWN, KIDDO!" A hand went over his shoulder as he saw his mother and great-grandfather there.

"Mom?"

"I felt you conqueror Haki. What happened?"

Izuku explained everything.

Garp grinned. "Anyway, congrats on getting your fire quirk, brat."

A while later...

The police detective nodded. "Thanks for the information. My name is Naomassa, and I'll be in touch with you guys."

They nodded.

A woman bowed. "Thank you for saving my daughter. My name is Yukina Kendo. Nice to meet you."

"My name is Inko Midoriya. Nice to meet you as well, Miss Kendo. No need to thank us. Those guys were after my son. Sorry for putting your daughter in trouble."

Itsuka pouted. "No need to say that, Miss Midoriya. It's not your fault. They were sore losers. Anyway, hey, Izuku, Gramps, can you train me to be as strong as him?"

"Huh? You want me to train you? What's your dream, girly?"

"To be the strongest female heroine, like Miss Amazing, and punch the villain away."

"Bwahaha! Sure, I like you, but ask your parents first, kiddo."

"Hmm, I will train no matter what."

Yukina sighed. "It's my fault. I might have passed down my habit as a delinquent to my daughter."

Garp grinned. "Nah, don't worry. Girls need a little spunk. If you're okay with it, she can train with Izuku."

Six years later...

Izuku looked as he punched the special cube made by layering wood and metal. He had been doing this since he was four years old, with his grandpa.

"Hyaa! Come on, Izuku, let's see who does more first!" He looked to his side to see Itsuka punching a cube alongside him.

He stopped and smiled. "Itsuka, thank you."

"Huh?"

"For being there for me."

Itsuka smiled and hugged him. She had been supporting him after Garp died a few days ago. She looked at him. "I'm your friend, idiot."

Izuku nodded as he hugged her, making her blush.
