Ed and Al stood on the rooftop, staring at the view ahead.

"Wow, look at this view!" Edward gazed in the distance.

"I know, right?" Alphonse added. "Perhaps I push you off this roof and break the arm you just got back."

"Seriously?" Ed felt a little raged.

"No but seriously, what now?" Ed asked.

"We should go on vacation. A long vacation." Al looked ahead and a large portal appeared, sucking the brothers into it. It was no alchemical portal; it was a vortex of some sort.

"Al, take my hand!" Edward grabbed onto Alphonse. Ed tried to pull Al back on the roof, but the suction was too strong. Al let go and was sucked into the vortex. Edward Elric was sucked in with him. When they fell out of the vortex, they arrived in a strange town with giant red buses and black taxis.

"Where are we, Brother?" Al was unclear about the strange land they landed in.

"We sure aren't in Amestris anymore." Al and Ed walked along the strange town and talked to people. They saw a man in a red uniform and a big black hat.

"Excuse me, but where are we?" Al asked the red uniform man.

"You're in London." The man answered.

"London, eh?" Ed knew very little about this "London" that he wanted to see what it had to offer. He saw an establishment of some sorts named "The Leaky Cauldron" while walking.

"Ed, let's get a coffee here!" Al told his brother.

"This could be interesting." Ed and Al walked in the Leaky Cauldron and sat down. They saw a man with round glasses wearing a long red coat of some sort with a white undershirt.

"Hey, you share my fashion sense!" Ed shook the man's hand. "What is your name, by the way?"

"My name's Harry Potter. I am the headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." The man with glasses introduced himself.

"Witchcraft?" Edward asked. "If that has anything to do with alchemy, then forget it! I am done with that kind of work!"

"Oh, this is no alchemy." Harry explained. "It's much more open than that. We have spells that can turn rats into goblets…" Harry was cut off by Ed punching him in the face.

"WHAT LOGICAL SENSE DOES THAT MAKE?" Ed yelled. "Ever heard of Equivalent Exchange? You can't turn organic matter into inorganic matter at least not without a philosopher's stone!" A brown-haired woman in a purple blazer joined Harry.

"I am sorry, but our friend here is alien to the customs of our world, eh Harry?" The brown-haired woman added. "I have been studying their kind in my Ministry Research program. They're Alchemists from the country of Amestris in the World of Alchemy."

"Really, Hermione?" Harry didn't know how Hermione knew that.

"As a member of the Ministry, I am at a research program to examine and explore other worlds via that portal that you saw."

"So, nonetheless." Harry made Ed and Al an offer. "I can enroll you two at Hogwarts as fifth year students, since you're too old to be first year students. I will catch you up to speed training with me and the other professors."

"Sounds like a great plan!" Harry cast a spell putting Ed and Al in Hogwarts robes. "We will take you to Diagon Alley and take you shopping!" Ed and Al went shopping with Harry and Hermione in Diagon Alley.

Diagon Alley

Ed and Al saw a big purple building with a gentleman tipping his hat. Harry pointed to it.

"We're going in there, since all the other shops are slow on reopening since the Death Eater attack."

"Death Eater, what the hell is a Death Eater?" Ed asked.

"We'll tell you that soon, but now it's time to buy supplies." Harry went with Hermione, Ed and Al to buy supplies. They bought their textbooks and cauldrons. Ed and Al saw some cute owls in cages at the shop.

"Harry, can we keep the owls?" Al thought the owls in the cages looked cute.

"You will need them more than anything if you want to communicate with people at Hogwarts." Harry explained. They bought their owls and everything else on the list, except the wands. Ed and Al were encountered by a redhead in a purple suit with an orange vest.

"Who the bloody hell are you?" Al asked.

"I am George Weasley, the man who runs this place." George introduced himself. "Let's get you started with your wands." Ed and Al went to the wand section and found two wands, both with Yew core, and made from metal.

"Wands made out of metal?" Edward asked.

"That way they never break!" Another redhead explained. "Name's Ron Weasley by the way, and I invented metal wands recalling my fateful second year where my wand broke." Ed and Al took the wands, and they glowed.

"It looks like they chose you." Ron congratulated the boys. "Next stop, Platform 9 and 3 Quarters!" Ed and Al went to Kings Cross Station.

At King's Cross, they stopped between 9 and 10.

"Where's Platform Nine and Three Quarters?" Ed asked. "All I see is 9 and 10."

"Go through it." Ron explained. Ed and Al went through the column and boarded Hogwarts Express. They were on the train and bound for Hogwarts.
