Somewhere in Pandora, Mirabel (in her avatar body) was flying on the Samson aircraft as she along with her mother, Norm, and Jake were above the water. Mirabel smiled to see she was back at forests of Pandora. She missed seeing the plants, water, the trees, and the animals. She felt like she wanted to look around, but she couldn't because there are some things her mother needs to do.

She then looked at the pilot, who is actually a female, named Trudy. When she met her, she does sound nice and was all cool, but worried if she's part of agreeing with the RDA on destroying the Na'vi's home. Suddenly, her thoughts were interrupted when she hears Jake screaming but more like whooping with cheer. Mirabel smirked as she rolled her eyes while Trudy was laughing.

A moment later, Trudy landed the aircraft in the middle of the forest while the avatars and a RDA soldier got off to look around. Mirabel looked at the trees as she felt it was familiar to her as if she remembers this part of the forest.

"Shut it down! We're gonna stay a while!" Grace spoke to Trudy.

Mirabel turned around to see Trudy turning the propellers off and the sound was begin to soften.

"Norm! Your pack." Grace said to the scientist and Norm quickly grabbed his pack. "Mirabel, let's go!"

"Coming!" she replied followed them along with them.

"Stay with the ship." Grace spoke to soldier and looked at Jake. "One idiot with a gun is enough."

Mirabel knew that her mom was mentioning about Jake and saw the avatar soldier smiled. As the group were silently walking, Mirabel looked at Jake as he still held his gun and looked around to see any dangers, hearing the sounds of the animal noises until he along with the others heard something loud.

Mirabel looked up and saw a group of prolemuris swinging from tree to tree. She hasn't seen those in a while since her old friends showed the amazing creatures in Pandora.

"Prolemuris. They're not aggressive." Grace spoke as he was talking to Jake. "Relax, Marine. You're making me nervous."

Another moment later, Mirabel followed a group until came to a place that Mirabel knew exactly where she is now. The old school. It was old, ruins, and she could have sworn she saw some bullet holes on the walls, but the building was still standing in it's place. The young avatar felt as tears were streaming down her face as memories, the sweet memories as a kid, were coming to her.

"Mirabel!" Grace's voice shouted and the young avatar snapped back into reality.

She looked at her mother and saw her hand waving for her to move. Mirabel quickly ran up to catch up to her and the others but then walked beside her adopted mother.

"You alright?" Grace questioned as she looked at her adopted daughter.

"I'm fine." she answered. "It's just... looking at this place, brings so many memories until..."

"I know." Grace softly spoke to her as she place her hand on Mirabel's shoulder.

Mirabel smiled at her and then went inside the school along with Jake and Norm.

It was a mess inside the school. Dust and leaves were everywhere, books were a little off colored and messy, and there were more bullet holes as well. All four were looking around while Grace began to speak.

"This was our school." she spoke as she looked at a small book, "Now it's just storage. The kids were so bright. Eager to learn. Picked up English as fast as I could teach it. We'll pick up a few of those pH monitors, soil probe..."

While Grace kept on talking on what she and group need, Norm picked up a book that says, 'The Lorax' and handed it to her.

"I love this one." she smiled as she looked at the book.

Mirabel looked at the book as well. She remembers how her mother reads it to the Na'vi children. Such good memories.

"The stingbats knock them off." Grace spoke as she was talking to Norm, "I guess I always hope somebody will come back and read them."

"Why don't they come back?" Norm questioned.

"The Omaticaya... learned as much about us as they needed to." Grace answered.

Mirabel knew what the answer her mother was talking about. The clan only knew too much of what the RDA have done, but not the Avatar Program. They didn't know that the program are against those soldiers as well.

"What happened here?" Jake questioned as he was standing beside a chalkboard with bullet holes and was looking at Grace.

Grace turned her head to face Jake and looked at him. Mirabel looked at her mother as she knew the answer but then spoke to him.

"Are you going to help with this gear? We've got a lot to do." she said and then left the school.

That wasn't the answer the avatars were expecting but Norm and Mirabel felt like she doesn't want to talk about it. Even Mirabel didn't want to talk about it.

At the forest, the scientists were scanning the soil ground while Jake was looking around, feeling bored and still holding his gun. Mirabel was sitting down on the roots of the tree watching her mother, Norm, and Jake.

"Here I go." Grace spoke as she injected a need through a small root on a soil.

"Scanning." Norm was looking through the device, seeing the inside of the roots. "Oh, wow! It's that fast?"

Grace chuckled to see Norm's face as he was fascinated.

"Amazing, isn't it?"

"Yeah."

"So, that is signal transduction from this root to the root of the tree next to it. So, we should take a sample."

"Okay. Sample."

Mirabel smiled at the two with their enthusiasm of working, but then looked at Jake to see that he was getting bored and starts walking around. The young avatar let out a sigh and decided to follow him. Jake heard her footsteps and turned his head to see she was behind him.

"Shouldn't you be with the others?" he asked.

"And let you wonder around in the forest? No way. Thought you need someone to keep an eye on you."

"I don't need a babysitter."

"Yes, you do. You don't know of this forest like me and my mom do." said Mirabel.

Jake rolled his eyes like a child but Mirabel kept on following him. Suddenly, the two came across a bunch of spiral looking plants which the young Avatar knew what they are.

"Loreyu." she spoke in a Na'vi language.

"What's that?" Jake questioned as she looked at her.

"It means 'beautiful spiral' or as my mom and the scientists calls them 'helicoradian'. They're zooplantae, or in other words, part animal and part plant. Possessing a single leaf that responds to touch by coiling up and retracting to the ground." she explained and looked at Jake. "Are you following me, Mr. Sulley?"

"Right. Spiral animal plants." Jake replied which he doesn't get it and looked at the plants.

Mirabel shook her knowing that the soldier wasn't following at all. She felt like she's being a teacher and having a failed student who doesn't know anything about science or math. As Jake touched one of the plants, the helicoradian sucks down into a tube in the ground. That surprised the soldier but as he touched one of the plants again and sucks down, Jake chuckles like he was having fun and touched the helicoradian again until all of the plants sucked down. Jake looked around until something appeared behind the plants that surprised him and Mirabel.

A strange looking creature with a hammerhead let out a trumpeting sound that an elephant would make. Jake held his gun up while Mirabel just looked at the creature.

"A hammerhead titanothere." she whispers to herself, but then looked at Jake as he was going to make his move. "Jake, stop! Don't!" she shouted quietly like a harsh whisper.

"Don't shoot!" Grace spoke as she and Norm came to them, looking at the creature. "Don't shoot."

"You'll make it mad." said Mirabel.

The hammerhead titanothere trumpeted again as it was knocking some of the trees down. Jake still held the gun up as his expression looked scared and wanted to shoot.

"It's already mad." he said.

"Jake, that armor's too thick. Trust me." Grace explained to him.

As Jake starts to back away, the creature bellows as it knocked more trees and then pawing the ground as it grunts.

"It's a territorial threat display. Do not run, or he'll charge."

"What do I do? Dance with it?" Jake questioned.

"Just hold your ground."

"Stay very still and do not move a muscle." said Mirabel.

The hammerhead bellows again as it was beginning to charge. Once it starts running towards the soldier, Jake starts screaming at the top of his lungs, spreads his arms wide and ran straight towards it. The hammerhead stopped and stares at him.

"Yeah? Come on! What you got?" he spoke to it and the creature walked away. "Oh, yeah. Who's bad? That's right. Yeah that's what I'm talking about."

The creature shrieks and running away.

"That's right, get your punk butt back to Mommy."

"Uh... I don't think it's walking away from you, Jake." Mirabel spoke as she was looking at something behind him.

Jake turns around and his eyes became in fear to see another creature as it was snarling and roaring.

"Thanator..." Mirabel spoke as she looked at it.

The thanator jumped over Jake and roared at the group of hammerheads. Mirabel watched as she knew they were communicating with each other. With one roar, the thanator turned to face Jake and Mirabel.

"So what about this one? Run? Don't run? What?" Jake questioned as he was eyeing back and forth on the creature and Grace.

The thanator growled as it was slowly walking towards to him and the young Avatar.

"Mom...?" Mirabel spoke to her as she was still facing the creature.

"Run! Definitely run!" Grace shouted.

The two avatars quickly bolt as the thanator leaps after them. Jake and Mirabel launched themselves between the two, large, tree trunks, forcing the beast to claw its way towards around to the side while the two scrambles up, around, and over a tangle of roots. Mirabel ran as fast as she could. Thanks to all the training, she got away from the beast but knew that Jake was behind. She stopped to where she was and turned to see if Jake was still with her. Worried that if the thanator have got him until she heard gun shots, thinking that Jake has killed the creature until there was silence.

"Jake? Jake!" Mirabel shouted.

Still no answer until suddenly she saw the soldier running straight towards her.

"Jake!"

"Move! Move!" Jake shouted and the two continued to run.

The two kept on running until they saw that they are near a cliff and a waterfall. With the thanator getting too close, the two have no other choice but to jump. Mirabel let out scream as she jumped a few meters with Jake until the two dived into the water. The current was too strong for Mirabel to swim but held onto wet ground to hold. She starts swimming up to the surface and her head popped out for air. She felt sore but she lived. As she quickly swam up to the land, she looked around to see that Jake wasn't around.

"Jake! Jake!" she hollered but there was no answer.

It appears that the current carried him farther from her. Thankfully, for Mirabel's thoughts, Jake is a soldier and he must have got to the land somewhere. Now the only problem is to find him and not getting killed. Mirabel quickly got on her feet and start walking as the search begins.

A half an hour or maybe a full hour, Mirabel kept on searching and searching for Jake. She wanted to holler for him but knew that would cause more trouble and wild animals will attack her. Hearing so many sounds from the creatures and bugs, Mirabel kept on going and listening to every sound her ears could pick up. But as she felt exhausted from walking, Mirabel sat down on a tree root and rest her feet a little until she heard something.

It sounds like rustling and she could have sworn that she heard a small twig snapped in two. Mirabel stood her ground, continued to listen as she looked around. She listened carefully, feeling her heart beating fast, but took a few small breaths until she heard something that landed behind her. She turned around and her eyes turned wide as she couldn't believe what she saw.

A Na'vi. A female Na'vi who is actually staring at her, more like glaring, and was holding a bow and carrying arrows on her back. Mirabel stood still, wondering what the Na'vi would do, but as she got a good look at her, she felt something familiar about the female. The stripe patterns on her skin, the woven braids on her hair, and that attitude she has. Mirabel looked at her more until spoke the one word that came out of her mouth.

"Neytiri?" she spoke.

The female snarled and had her bow and arrow set to aim. Mirabel quickly walked away but was blocked by a tree behind her. She couldn't believe that the Na'vi was her best friend and now she doesn't even recognize her. Even as an avatar. Mirabel doesn't how she's going to tell her who she is until...

(Flashback)

Young Mirabel was with young Neytiri and Sylwanin, talking about Mirabel becoming an avatar and wondering how they recognize her until an idea popped into her head.

"I think I know a way for you two to recognize me." she spoke to them. "What if I told you a word that you two could learn and recognize what I said to you."

"What kind of word?" Neytiri asked as she looked curious.

"It's actually a different language from where I'm from back at home and what I remember when I was little."

The sisters got closer to young human as she starts whispering to them what the word is.

(End of Flashback)

"Mariposa! Mariposa!" she shouted as the Na'vi was about to shoot.

Suddenly, the Na'vi, who is Neytiri, stopped as her eyes wide from hearing the word. She lowered her weapon and walked slowly towards the young avatar. Mirabel watched her getting closer to her and saw her hand slowly rising up.

"Mariposa?" Neytiri spoke as she looked at her. "MirabelAugustine?"

Mirabel nodded her head and felt Neytiri's hand touching her cheek. She looked straight into her eyes as the Na'vi was examining her until the eyes become soften and let out a soft gasp. To Mirabel's surprise she felt Neytiri's arms wrapped around her like an embrace.

"It is you." the Na'vi spoke. "Mirabel, my friend, my sister, you are here. You've grown and... you've become a Dreamwalker." she said as she looked at her.

"And you've grown the last time I saw you. You've also become fierce."

Neytiri smiled for a moment but then her expression change as she eyed at Mirabel.

"Where were you?"

"I was exiled. Remember?" Mirabel spoke as she remembered the tragic time. "After what I heard what the RDA has done, I was heartbroken. Part of the forest was destroyed, school closed... your sister. I'm so sorry what has happened to her."

"Mirabel... you were not exiled."

Mirabel stood silence for a moment and blinked a few times.

"What?"

"When the sky people and GraceAugustine were exiled from stepping foot of our village, my mother and I and some of the People agreed to not exiled you because of what Eywa see in you. But you never come and now I know."

"I have no idea."

"It's not your fault."

"At least I know now. But right now, I need to find someone."

"The other Dreamwalker."

"Yes. How did you...? You saw him?" she asked and Neytiri nod.

"He's not far. But he does not know what he is doing."

"You should also know that he's a skxawng. He's also new to the avatar program as well."

Neytiri smirked at her friend and put her arrow away.

"Come. We must find him." she said and started to sprint.

Mirabel quickly picked up her pace and follow Neytiri as they were off to find Jake.

To Be Continued...
