The night has already come as Neytiri and Mirabel continued to walk in search of Jake. Mirabel smiled to see the night and doesn't need any torches now that the forest glows up so beautifully. She sure misses that but starts focusing on following Neytiri. The Na'vi princess turned her head to see Mirabel as the young avatar was picking up her pace with her. She smiled a little, seeing that her friend has been trained a lot as she remembered.

"You have gotten fast."

"I have been trained by the best two teachers I got by memory and at Hell's Gate. Everything has felt trapped and prisoned after what the RDA has done. I'm against them and my mom is on my side." said Mirabel as she kept on following.

Neytiri listened to her old friend, smiled a little to hear that she remembers but yet another expression of what the humans have done.

"You would turn against your own kind?"

"They are not my kind except the avatar program or the innocence." said Mirabel. "But do tell me this my friend. What has happened to the children from the school? Are they doing alright?"

"They are fine. Shaken at first. Their families have been protecting them, but they still miss Grace and you as well."

"And Nowu?" Mirabel asked in concern.

The Na'vi princess let out a small smirk of her friend mention the male's name but then softly spoke to her with an answer.

"He is fine. But his family are with Eywa now after the sky people killed them. But he has gotten strong since he's been living with warriors."

"A warrior, huh? Last time I remember, he was shy."

"Not shy anymore, Mirabel. He is strong."

"Wonder if I'll ever see him and the children again."

"You will once I bring you to my home. My father may not be happy for bringing a Dream Walker, but he and my mother will see who you are."

Mirabel listened to every word Neytiri have said. Hopefully she's right about it. If she's still welcome to the Omaticaya clan, then she'll be alright. Maybe find a way to talk to Mo'at about bringing her mother over some day. She has been missing her friend for two years.

As the girls kept on running on every obstacle of the large tree branches and over the roots, Mirabel has been keeping up with Neytiri close until the Na'vi princess stopped for a moment, including her. There was silence all around them, but as their ears picked the sounds, they heard growling and noises that Mirabel remembers what they were.

"Nantangs." Mirabel spoke quietly in Na'vi language or in other words, 'Viperwolves.'

"Come." Neytiri replied to her, and the girls quickly dashed off to the direction.

Mirabel ran with speed as she focused on following, but worried about Jake getting surrounded by the creatures.

Suddenly, the two saw a light coming from the distance. Mirabel that it must have been Jake cause usually fire will not help see light. He defiantly sees the beauty of the forest. Once the two got closer, they can hear Jake shouting and the viperwolves growling. Neytiri held her bow tightly and grabbed one of her arrows.

"Stay here." she whispers to Mirabel.

Mirabel nodded her head a little and watched her friend go. She started to peak from behind the tree and watched as Neytiri was in position.

Jake was guarding his life with the torch he made. Swinging it around him, trying to keep the viperwolves from getting close to him. The creatures were crawling and circling around him, ready for to attack him.

"I don't have all night. Come on! Come on!" Jake shouted at them as he was ready for a fight.

With snarls and a blur of motion, the viperwolves started to attack. Jake made his move by smacking one of the creatures with his torch. Spins around with it trying to keep the beasts to back away.

Mirabel watched as Jake tried to defend himself until she saw one of the viperwolves was on a tall tree root and started to leap. Jake looked up and used his torch to stab it like a spear. The creature whimpered in pain and ran off with the torch. Jake grabbed his knife out and ready to fight more. One of the viperwolves pounced on him and tries sank its teeth into his arm. Jake yells in pain slashed the creature with his knife, cuts deep into its shoulder and he let it go.

As he started to sprint, trying to escape, a snarling viperwolf leaps and grabbed him by the ankle with its fore hand, causing him to fall. Jake kicked him away and tries to get up, but three more viperwolves all charged at once. Mirabel continued to watch, hoping if Jake could continue to escape, but the nearest viperwolf was at his throat until...

THUNK!

An arrow appeared out of nowhere and hit the creature. Mirabel looked at the direction and sighed with relief as it was Neytiri who shot the creature. As Jake was free from that, he pushed the creature off from him and notice the arrow. He looked up to see Neytiri as she took a big leap into the air and shot another viperwolf. Once she lands, Neytiri starts swing her bow and hit the viperwolves one by one.

Mirabel watched with amazement of seeing her childhood friend fight the beasts. But when a viperwolf pounced on her, Neytiri along with the creature tumbled onto each other until the Na'vi princess was on top of it, grabbing her knife out and stabbed the creature a couple of times. She defiantly has a lot of fierce in her as Mirabel would think.

Once Neytiri grabbed her bow again, she starts hitting at the other viperwolves as she snarls at them. Finally, the viperwolves quickly retreat as they scampered off. It was finally safe for Mirabel to come out as she got out of the hiding spot and ran towards Jake.

"Jake!"

The soldier looked up to see her with a relief look on his face.

"Kid... you alright?" he asked.

"I'm fine and you?"

"Yeah. I'm alright." he answered but then turned to look at Neytiri.

The Na'vi snarled once more as she looked to see if any of the viperwolves came back. But as she turned, the torch was a bit bright for her and walked past Jake and Mirabel. Speaking in her native tongue as she was talking to herself, Neytiri picked up the torch and was toss it to the stream.

"Hey, wait! Don't!" Jake spoke, but it was too late, the Na'vi have already extinguished the light. "Great."

"You don't need a torch to see the dark, Jake." Mirabel spoke as she looked at him and looked at the forest.

She smiled to see the beauty of the forest at night, as every leaf, trees, and the ground is glowing. Suddenly, she along with Neytiri heard whimpering sounds. The two quickly came to an injured viperwolf with an arrow on its chest that Neytiri have shot. The sad look came to the Na'vi's eyes.

Neytiri kneeled down to the ground but with her knee on the wolf as it was still movie. She spoke in native tongue as she brought her knife out and stabbed it to the chest. Mirabel kneeled down as she understood what her friend was saying and had her head down.

As Jake reached in to grab his torch from the stream, he looked up to see the forest glowing at night. Mirabel was right about him not needing a torch to see as he stared at the beauty of nature and the animal sounds from the Pandora creatures. As Neytiri and Mirabel went to another viperwolf, the two looked at the creature as Neytiri placed her hands on the beast but ignored to the words from Jake.

"Look, um, I know you probably don't understand this. But... thanks. Thank you." he said but the girls ignored him as Neytiri pulled her arrow out from the viperwolf. "That was pretty impressive. I would have been screwed if you hadn't come along. It was..."

Neytiri slightly looked up at him along with Mirabel. The Na'vi turned to face the young avatar as she placed her hand on her shoulder.

"Come." she whispered.

Mirabel listened as she and Neytiri got up. She knew what she meant as her friend was taking her to the village. As the two started to walk away, Jake quickly followed them.

"Hey, wait. Wait! Hey, where are you going?" he questioned as he followed them but mostly Neytiri. "Hey, wait up. Just... Hey, slow down. Look, wait up, I just to say thanks for killing those things."

Jake finally caught up to the girls, but as he grabbed Neytiri's arm, Mirabel knew what was going to happen and ducked as Neytiri swinged her bow and hit Jake. He groaned at the pain but then looked at the Na'vi as her bow was pointing at him.

"Don't thank." Neytiri spoke in English as she glared at him. "You don't thank for this. This is sad. Very sad only."

"Okay. Okay. I'm sorry." Jake spoke softly. "Whatever I did, I'm sorry."

Mirabel didn't say anything as she looked at the two. She decided not to intrude as Neytiri was angry at the soldier.

"All this is your fault! They did not need to die."

"My fault? They attacked me. How am I the bad guy?" Jake questioned.

"Your fault!" Neytiri growled at him as she pointed her bow at him again.

"You started it, Jake. You attacked them, they attacked you. Especially with that torch slash spear you just made." Mirabel said to him.

"Your fault! You are like a baby, making noise, don't know what to do." Neytiri pointed at Jake.

The soldier slowly got up and kept his eyes on the Na'vi.

"Fine. Fine. If you love your little forest friends, why not let them just kill my butt?" he asked. "What's the thinking?"

"Why save you?" Neytiri questioned.

"Yeah, why save me?"

Neytiri and Mirabel looked at each other for a moment and looked back at Jake. The Na'vi princess eyed him and then spoke softly to him.

"You have a strong heart. No fear." she said but as she leans closer, her facial expression changed and hissed, "But stupid! Ignorant like a child!"

As she turned away from him, Neytiri grabbed Mirabel's hand and the two walked off. Jake scoffed as he smirked. He grabbed his torch and starts following them.

"Well, if I'm like a child, then..." he spoke as he quickly caught up to them, going through the large leaves and obstacles over large roots, "Look, maybe you should teach me."

"That will be impossible, Jake." Mirabel spoke as she kept on walking.

"The Sky People cannot learn like MirabelAugustine. You do not See." said Neytiri.

"Well, then teach me how to See."

"No one can teach you to See." said Neytiri.

Suddenly, the three are now walking to an elevated root. It was so high above the ground that Jake almost lost his balance. Mirabel, on the other hand, was all balance. Just like how Neytiri and Sylwanin have taught her.

"Look, come on, can't we talk? Say, where'd you learn to speak English? Dr. Augustine's school?" Jake asked with many questions as he kept following them until he starts to lose balance. "Whoa! Little help!"

Mirabel stopped her pace and turned as she saw Neytiri quickly grabbed his arm and pulled him from the edge.

"You're like a baby." the Na'vi said to him as she let go of his arm. She sighs as she mumbled in Na'vi tongue.

Jake looked at her for a moment.

"I need your help." he said to her.

Mirabel shook her head. Jake was trying to beg Neytiri on learning the ways of Na'vi, but it is impossible.

"You should not be here." Neytiri spoke in English as she glared at him.

"Okay, take me with you."

"No!" she growled. "Go back."

As Neytiri turned to walk away and take Mirabel, she heard Jake's footsteps start to move and turned to stop him as he was following him.

"No." Jake spoke as he refused to leave but Neytiri spoke in native tongue.

"Go back." she growled.

Mirabel shook her head again as Jake refuses. He's not giving up and he is stubborn. But as she looked up, she saw something that surprised her as she remembers seeing them before.

"Neytiri look." she spoke.

Neytiri looked up and her eyes were widening as Jake did the same as he looked. The ones that Mirabel remembered seeing were the woodsprites. The floating seeds that surrounded Mirabel a long time ago when she was a kid. The seeds were floating around towards Jake while some were around Mirabel. The young avatar smiled softly to see the little creatures again. Some were placed on her shoulders and on her hands, just like last time.

Jake was looking at the woodsprites, wondering what those are. But as he saw one getting close to him, he swats it away like a bug.

"Don't!" Mirabel spoke in a hush tone and Neytiri stopped him in her native tongue.

Jake looked at the girls for a moment but saw another one coming close and swatted again.

"No!" Neytiri growled at him to stop.

"Just stay very still." Mirabel spoke to him.

The soldier as what the young avatar said and stood still as the woodsprites landed on his arms and his soldiers. The girls watched in shocked as they stared at the sprites on Jake. They looked at each other for a moment and looked back at Jake. They couldn't believe what they are seeing. It was the sign of Eywa but the two also wonder what the Great Mother sees in him.

"What... what are they?" Jake questioned as he looked at the sprites.

"Seeds of the Sacred Tree." Neytiri answered softly, "Very pure spirits."

The princess and Mirabel continued to watch as Jake was now covered by the woodsprites. But a second later, the sprites floated away from him.

"What was that all about?" the soldier questioned again.

Neytiri and Mirabel looked at each other again for a moment, with a simple nod from the Na'vi, the two looked back at Jake.

"Come." Neytiri spoke to him as she grabbed Mirabel's hand and then grabbed Jake's arm. "Come.

The three finally made it to the other side of the elevated root as Neytiri was taking the lead, walking faster including Mirabel while Jake tries to pick up the pace.

"Where are we going?" Jake questioned as he followed Neytiri, but he was sidetracked on the glowing plants that are near him.

"Jake, no time to explore. Come on." said Mirabel.

But Jake didn't listen as he was playing around with glowing bioluminescence plants. Neytiri was right that he is like a child. Mirabel quickly ran to him and grabbed him by the arm.

"Come on!" she said and quickly caught up with her Na'vi friend while Jake tries to keep up.

The two kept on following Neytiri as jumped and ducked through every obstacle on the tree roots.

"What's your name?" Jake spoke as he was asking Neytiri until suddenly...

WHOOSH!

A bola came out of nowhere and tangled Jake's legs. Mirabel heard his grunts and turned to see that Jake fell with his legs gotten tangled. Suddenly, another bola came towards Mirabel and wrapped her legs that cause the young avatar to fall. With her scream, Neytiri turned and gasped to see her friend and Jake gotten caught and ran towards them.

While Jake and Mirabel try to untangle the bolas, they heard noises. They looked up and to their shock they saw more Na'vi coming. They were riding on direhorses, six-legged, armor-skinned creatures that are like horses but their also nectarivore. That is something what Mirabel have learned. The young avatar just looked at them while Jake just finally got and carried the knife in his hand. He was about to make a run from them until archers appeared by them and had their arrows pointing at him and Mirabel.

The two are now surrounded as Mirabel slowly got up and had her arms in midair. She looked around until she spotted an archer aiming his arrow at her. She looked carefully at him, but as he recognized the eye shape and the stripes, Mirabel's words spoke softly as a word come out of her.

"Nowu?"

The Na'vi eyes slowly grew wide as he looked at her but still have his arrow out to shoot. Suddenly, Neytiri drops to the ground next to Jake and growls at the Na'vi, telling them to calm down. She then turns around to face another Na'vi as he got off his direhorse. Mirabel looked at that Na'vi and remembered who that was but haven't seen him most often.

"What are you doing, Tsu'tey?" Neytiri questioned in her native tongue as she looked at him.

"These demons are forbidden here." he spoke to her.

"There has been a sign. This is a matter for the Tsahik."

Tsu'tey looked at her for moment, then looked at the avatars and back at the princess.

"Bring them." he spoke as he got back on his direhorse.

"What's going on?" Jake questioned until the archers grabbed his arms to hold him captive.

But as the other archers grabbed Mirabel, Neytiri hissed at her as she grabbed her hand.

"Do not hold her captive. She is Mirabel." she spoke in native tongue.

Mirabel looked at the archers as they were looking at each other and murmured in native tongue. But as she looked at the Na'vi, who is Nowu, his face was complete shock as he stared at her.

"Come." Neytiri whispered to her, and Mirabel followed her while the Na'vi that held Jake followed as well.

Mirabel felt her heart pounding as they knew where they were heading. To the clan at their Hometree.
