The Hometree. It still the same the way it is as Mirabel remembered. She thanked God and Eywa to herself that the Na'vi's home is still standing. Mirabel couldn't stop staring at the view of the tree until she realizes that she, along with Jake and the Na'vis, are getting closer to it.

As they walked under the roots of the Hometree, Mirabel saw several Na'vi's gathering around as they saw the hunters returning including Neytiri. But as they saw her and Jake, they were all chattering, yipping, even trying to get closer to them. This was definitely deja vu since Mirabel came here for the first time. As they reached to the central space of the tree, Mirabel can see the clan's leader. Eytukan.

It has been a while since the last time she saw him. Still looks serious, but he is a great leader to the Omaticaya clan. As Neytiri told everyone to move, she was now facing her father as he was looking at her but also looking at Jake and Mirabel.

"Father..." Neytiri spoke in her native tongue. "...I see you."

Eytukan walked past his daughter and looked at the avatars. Jake smirked a little to him but Mirabel just avoids the stare.

"These creatures..." the chief spoke in Na'vi, "Why do you bring them here?"

"Father..." Neytiri began to speak as she pointed at Mirabel. "This dreamwalker is MirabelAugustine."

And as her name spoke, the Na'vi began to chatter and Eytukan just stare at her until he looked at Jake.

"And him... I was going to kill him... but there was a sign from Eywa like Mirabel."

"I have said... no dreamwalker will come here."

"But the clan and mother agreed that Mirabel is allowed to come. Afterall, she is not exiled."

"That is true, but this one..." Eytukan replied as he pointed at Jake, "His alien smell fills my nose.

Mirabel understood the translation and said nothing while the Na'vi laughed with him.

"What's he saying?" Jake questioned as he was speaking to Neytiri.

"My father is deciding whether to kill you." she replied to him which that shocked him.

"Your father." he repeated softly and then looked at Eytukan. "It's nice to meet you, sir."

Just when Jake stepped forward and offering his hand, Mirabel and Neytiri quickly stopped him while the hunters jumped on him to restrain him until...

"Step back!" a female voice commanded.

The Na'vi and the avatars looked up to see the female, but Mirabel knew that Na'vi too well. It was Mo'at. The Tsahìk of the Omatikaya clan and also an old friend of her mother's. It has been a while since she last saw her.

"I will look at these aliens." the Tsahìk spoke as she descends the helical core of the Hometree and slowly walked towards her.

"That is Mother." Neytiri spoke softly to Jake, "She is Tsahìk- the one who interprets the will of Eywa."

"Who's Eywa?" Jake questioned until Mirabel shushed him.

Mo'at starts looking at the young avatar first. She was examining the curls that are familiar to her, the queue and the tail, but as the Tsahìk looked at the young ones eyes. Mirabel was standing still for a moment as Mo'at was examining her face. Suddenly, a soft face slowly appeared on the Tsahìk's face, and the young avatar could have sworn that she saw a smile but only for a second.

"I see you, child." the Tsahìk softly spoke.

Mirabel felt a relief that she recognizes her but now Mo'at turned to look at Jake. She did the same as she circled around him, examining both his tail and his queue.

"What are you called?" she questioned him.

"Jake Sully." he answered.

The Tsahìk grabbed a small but long thorn from her headwear and quickly striked it with Jake's chest. The marine flinched at the quick pain while Mo'at tasted the blood and looked at him.

"Why did you come to us?" the Tsahìk him again.

"I came to learn."

"We have tried to teach other Sky People. It is hard to fill a cup which is already full."

"My cup is empty, trust me. Just ask Doctor Augustine. I'm no scientist."

"What are you?"

"I was a Marine." Jake answered but could see that Na'vi were confused. "Uh... a warrior. Of the Jarhead clan."

"A warrior!" Tsu'tey spoke in native tongue as he glared at Jake. "I could kill him easily!"

"No!" Eytukan stopped him as he looked at Jake. "This is the first warrior dreamwalker... we have seen along with the young one who has return as a dreamwalker. But for this..." Eytukan pointed at Jake, "We need to learn about him."

The Na'vi all chattered in agreement while Tsu'tey just looked at the chief.

"My Daughter..." Mo'at spoke as she looked at Neytiri, "...you will teach him our way to speak and walk as we do... and continued teaching the young one as well."

Neytiri groaned.

"Why me? That's not fair..." she hissed as she and Mo'at were mentioning about Jake.

For Mirabel, the Na'vi princess was fine to train with, but with Jake... it may not be easy.

"It is decided." Mo'at spoke in English as she looked at the avatars. "My daughter will teach you and continue to teach her our ways." she said as she looked at Jake. "Learn well, Jakesully. Then we will see if your insanity can be cured."

Jake gave her a nod and Mirabel as well until Mo'at walked away, whispering to her daughter that she is now responsible to teach them.

A moment later, all the Na'vi were gathering around in a circle at the second level of the Hometree, having their dinner and chatting. Neytiri was leading Jake and Mirabel up at the spiral core to the level. Only, their attires were now completely different. Jake was now only wearing a ratty loincloth and his wounds were bound with plant-fiber bandages. Mirabel was wearing the same as well but also wearing something to cover her clevage. She didn't seem to mind, and she has been hanging around with the children two years ago. Jake, however, was feeling uncomfortable to what he was wearing.

Once the three entered the circle, the Na'vi stopped chatting and looked straight at Jake and Mirabel. The young avatar carefully walked through, trying not to step on everyone's tails except Jake stepped on one and he apologized. As the three were in front of the fire, Neytiri gently shows Mirabel where she will kneel at, but gently shoved Jake to kneel next to a Na'vi.

"Hey how you doing?" Jake asked as he looked at him.

A young female Na'vi just looked at Jake with a smile on her face. She was curious as she reached to him but the Na'vi, who might be her father, stopped her. Jake smiled at the child, even Mirabel as she smiled a little, but as she looked around, she saw some familiar faces that were looking at her.

It was her old friends from the school but as she looked to see where Nowu was, she could of sworn that he was looking at her but quickly looking away. Mirabel smirked as she could have sworn that he might blushing just when they were kids but couldn't tell. Suddenly, Neytiri came as she carried a bunch of food in her hands and passed them down to Jake and Mirabel. The young avatar looked at the food as she knew what those were called. She have seen the Na'vi eat those before but curious to know what they taste like.

While she started to take a bite of the food, Jake continues to stare at Neytiri.

"You never told me your name."

"Neytiri te Ckaha Mo'at'ite." the Na'vi princess replied to him but that really confuses the soldier avatar.

"Okay, again, a whole lot slower."

"Neytiri."

"Neytili?"

"Nay-TEE-ree." the Na'vi princess announced it.

Jake knows she's baiting him and he smiles in response.

"Nay-TEE-ree. Well, it's nice to meet you, Nay-TEE-ree." he softly spoke to her.

Mirabel rolled her eyes as Jake still has a lot to learn. But as she was eating the food, she was now starting to like them. Luckily, this is her avatar body and pretty sure she can't eat those in her human body. While she was eating, she eyed at Jake as he was looking at Tsu'tey, Mo'at, and Eytukan. With her ears, she can actually hear the conversation.

"These aliens try to look like people... but they can't." Tsu'tey whispers to Mo'at and Eytukan.

"He seems dim to me. And his eyes are too small."

Mirabel felt a hidden smirk on her face on hearing that while she listens to Jake and Neytiri's conversation.

"Your mom likes me. I can tell." he said to Neytiri and starts trying the food. "These rocks. What are they?"

"Teylu." she answered.

"Teylu." he repeated as took another bite.

"Well you call um... beetle larvae."

Jake stopped for a moment and looked at her but he could have sworn that Mirabel wasn't trying not to laugh.

"That's some fine teylu. Just like grandma's teylu."

Neytiri smiled a little at him and then starts handing him a bunch of more teylu.

Another moment later, Neytiri lead Jake and Mirabel to the sleeping level of the Hometree. The young avatar looked around to see that the way the Na'vis sleep were like hammocks only different. Once Neytiri showed where Mirabel will be sleeping, the young avatar carefully climbed down and hopped onto the hammock. She watched Neytiri and Jake hopped on until she starts closing her eyes. Once she fell asleep, everything went white.

Mirabel slowly opened her eyes as everything was a blur until she saw flashing lights and hearing voices. But the only voice she heard was Grace.

"Mirabel? Butterfly, can you hear me? Mirabel!" she spoke.

Mirabel fluttered eyes and looked at them. Her vision was still a blur, but thankfully, one of the scientists put her glasses on her. Now that she can finally see, she saw her adopted mother and the scientists.

"Hi, mom. Hey guys." she spoke to them as slowly sat up.

Grace sighed with relief and gently hugged her.

"Are you alright? Is avatar safe?" she questioned in concern.

"Yes, and it's safe. But you won't believe what just happen and where I am." Mirabel replied.

Just when Mirabel was about to explain, Norm spoke up from the distance.

"Dr. Augustine! It's Jake! He's waking up."

Grace and the scientists quickly dashed off to the other linkbed while Mirabel slowly got up and followed them.

"Jake! Jake!" Grace said to him as he was examining his eyes.

"He's coming out right now." Max spoke as he looked at him.

"Jake. Jake!" Grace spoke to the soldier again. "Come on back, kid. Come on."

Grace gently patted Jake's cheek until the soldier moved his eyes and breathed.

"There you go." Grace spoke again a few times as she smiled to see Jake was fully awake. "There you go. You were dug in like a tick." she said as she and the scientists helped Jake up. "Is the avatar safe?"

"Yeah, Doc." Jake replied as he was panting for air. "And you are not going to believe where the kid and I are at."
